In Washington, I'm Korva Coleman. Israel and Iran are continuing to strike each other following the US bombing of Iranian nuclear sites this weekend. As NPR's Daniel Estrin reports from Tel Aviv. Israel is assessing the extent of damage from the US bombing.

The Israeli government says its military struck Iranian airports and military aircraft, as well as even prison where Iran jails regime opponents. A barrage of Iranian missiles struck sites across Israel. Medics are reporting no casualties. Israeli media report power outages in southern Israel from a hit near critical electricity infrastructure. In a briefing with reporters, Israeli former Mossad intelligence official and Iran expert Seema Shain assessed the US strikes on Iran's nuclear sites.
It's much better than what we thought it will be. I don't think it's completely destruction of the project.
She estimated Iran is hiding enriched uranium and advanced centrifuges in other locations and could create a bomb in secret. Daniel Estrin, NPR News, Tel Aviv.

Satellite imagery shows the aftermath of the US strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities, but as NPR's Jeff Brumfield reports, it's still unclear how much these have set back the country's nuclear program.
Jeffrey Lewis
American stealth bombers delivered bunker busting weapons that penetrated the earth before exploding. The Pentagon says it's still evaluating, but it believes the bombs got through and destroyed two underground uranium enrichment sites. Jeffrey Lewis with the Middlebury Institute of International Studies has looked at satellite images after the strikes. He says it's hard to know if they worked.
Seema Shain
What you see is actually very difficult to interpret because it's really just some holes.
Jeffrey Lewis
Lewis also says trucks were spotted at two sites in the days before the strikes. He believes that Iran's stocks of highly enriched uranium were moved before the bombs hit. Jeff Brumfiel, NPR News.

President Trump hinted yesterday about a change of leadership in Iran after the warplanes bombed the sites. But speaking separately and earlier on Sunday, both Secretary of State Marco Rubio And Vice President J.D. vance said regime change is not the US's goal. But writing online later on Sunday, Trump asked, if Iran's leaders cannot make their country great again, why wouldn't there be a regime change? Columbia University graduate student Mahmoud Khalil is now free on bail. He spent more than three months in detention. Khalil was detained as the first of several students who had peacefully protested against the war in Gaza. Kahlil says he was taken by men wearing masks.

It felt like kidnapping, to be honest. You have plain clothed agents in unmarked cars, not identifying themselves, claiming to have an arrest warrant that they did not show.

We're breaking through the boundaries of what people would call a small city, and we're ready. Very proud to be an Oklahoman. Very proud they entrusted us with a team and that we've come this far.
Alvarez works as a painting contractor in okc, but he says he's not expecting his employees to come into work today as they celebrate the victory. As Oklahoma City's only Big four sports franchise, this is the city's first ever major championship in a professional sport. For NPR News, I'm Abigail Sikowski in Oklahoma City.
