Live from NPR News in Washington, I'm Windsor Johnston. President Trump returned to a key swing state today to promote more than $90 billion in energy and technology investments. NPR's Franco Ordonez reports on Trump's efforts to create an artificial intelligence hub in Pennsylvania.

He described Monday's investment as a victory not only for the United States, but for the critical battleground state that will benefit from the massive investments. We're back in Pittsburgh to announce the largest package of investments in the of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and it's not even close. Trump won Pennsylvania in the 2024 presidential election, and he's looking to turn the Steel City into a tech hub as part of his larger efforts to push the US Ahead in a technological arms race against China. House Speaker Mike Johnson appears to be breaking ranks with President Trump. Johnson is calling on Attorney General Pam Bondi to make public the documents related to investigation into convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

I think she was talking about documents as I understood that they were on her desk. Path resident Natalie Meeks said it's been hard to watch the news out of Kerr county since it all feels eerily similar. She says she and her husband were cleaning up for years.
