Live from NPR News. In Washington, I'm Jeanine Hurst. Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is heading to the US Tomorrow to meet with President Trump and talk about the Iran war. There's been a pause the last two days in American strikes on Iran, but Israel has indicated it's willing to join the U.S. fight if military actions escalate. NPR's Emily Fang reports.

Netanyahu convened a cabinet meeting before departing for the US where he'll attend the funeral of the late Senator Lindsey Graham, who is staunchly pro Israel. And then Netanyahu will meet Trump on Tuesday. Tuesday, Iran's military spokesperson said Tehran believes Israel is trying to push the US to expand attacks on Iran. In an Israeli poll last month, more than 90% of Israelis said they believed the now abandoned ceasefire between the US And Iran favored Iranian interests. In addition to Iran, Netanyahu is concerned about a nuclear energy agreement the US Just signed with Saudi Arabia, something Israel has long opposed because they fear the kingdom may one day try to develop a nuclear weapon. German authorities say the suspect who drove a vehicle into a crowd near Berlin's annual Pride event is dead after shots were fired during a confrontation. Esme Nicholson has more.

Police shot and killed 21 year old Abdul Balaout in a garden allotment on the outskirts of Berlin on Sunday evening. Prosecutors say evidence was mounting to suggest the incident, which killed one and injured at least 29 others, was an Islamist terror attack. Ballout, a German national with Lebanese heritage, attempted to join Islamic State group on a trip to Lebanon last year. In May, a court in Berlin convicted Ballot of preparing a serious act of violence and handed down a suspended sentence. He had been released while prosecutors appealed. For NPR News, I'm Esme Nicholson.

In Munich, the Trump administration is set to end the temporary legal status of hundreds of thousands of Haitians living in the U.S. the move, which could come as soon as tomorrow, could mean deportation. Imperial's Adrian Florido reports many fear being sent back to a country full of violence.

Last month, the Supreme Court allowed the administration to end temporary protected status for 350,000 Haitians and 6,000 Syrians. TPS has allowed them to live and work in the US because of dangerous conditions in their countries. The US Is ending TPS for Haitians despite acknowledging the dangers. Much of Haiti is controlled by armed gangs. Josianne Velcaint got TPS in 2010. Her 10 and 12 year olds were born in San Diego and sing in the church choir.

The UN Organization says the beaches formed an exceptional cultural landscape shaped by the events of 1944 and by their enduring remembrance. The UNESCO committee meeting in South Korea Today also added Mount Olympus in Greece to the list. Christopher Nolan's film The Odyssey is playing on more than 25,000 screens worldwide, a broad release that will get broader when China, Japan and Korea open the film next month. NPR's Bob Mondello reports. Audiences appear to crave an epic experience.

Nolan superfans are touting the virtues of seeing the Odyssey on one of the mere 41 screens, 25 in the US and another 16 abroad that are equipped to play 70 millimeter IMAX film, the format the Odyssey was shot in. But there are plenty of what the industry calls premium large format auditoriums, including digital imax and conventional 70 millimeter. They represent about 1% of Odyssey showings. But because audiences are eager to see the film on the biggest possible screen, that 1% is pulling in 20% of ticket sales. That means that after creating special cameras so that Nolan could shoot the Odyssey entirely on IMAX film, which is a Hollywood first, the company now has a fresh challenge.
