live from NPR News in Washington, I'm Jeanine Hurst. Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is heading to the US Tomorrow, meet with President Trump and talk about the war in Iran. There's been a pause in the last two days in American strikes on Iran, but Israel has indicated it's willing to join the U.S. fight if military actions escalate. NPR's Emily Fang reports.

Netanyahu convened a cabinet meeting before departing for the US where he'll attend the funeral of the late Senator Lindsey Graham, who is staunchly pro Israel. And then Netanyahu will meet Trump on Tuesday. Iran's military spokesperson said Tehran believes Israel is trying to push the US to expand attacks on Iran. Berlin police say a suspect who drove into a crowd celebrating LGBTQ rights and attacked people with a machete was killed in a confrontation with authorities. The suspect, who German Officials identified as 21 year old Abdul Balut, was found in a Berlin suburb on Saturday. Berlin police say they fired on Ballute after he ran toward officers with a bladed weapon. He died at the scene. Police say Ballute had come to the attention of authorities in the past because of numerous previous crimes, but did not give additional details. At least one person is dead from the attack and several people are injured. Chandelyse Duster, NPR News.

Oregon had record low snowfall this past winter that has led to several wildfires exploding across the region this past week. The Bench Fire erupted Saturday night and forced thousands to evacuate from the tribal community of Warm Springs. Jessica New Year of the Oregon Department of Forestry says there aren't enough firefighters available on the ground.

The 57 year old will be arraigned next month, and he maintains his innocence.
