The political organization Kirk founded, Turning Point usa, said the memorial service would be held in Glendale, Arizona. The event is set to take place at State Farm Stadium, which has the capacity to hold over 60,000 people. Kirk was shot and killed Wednesday during an outdoor event at Utah Valley University in Orem. President Trump, who was friends with Kirk, called the act of his death a, quote, dark moment for America.
