From NPR News in Washington, I'm Ryland Barton. Google's video platform YouTube has agreed to pay 24 and a half million dollars to settle a lawsuit brought by President Trump. Trump sued when his account January 6, 2021 attack on the US Capitol. It's the latest tech company settlement with Trump. In January, Meta agreed to pay $25 million to settle a lawsuit over his 2021 suspension. From Facebook, President Trump announced a plan to end Israel's war in Gaza after a meeting with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The question now is whether Hamas will agree. As NPR's Daniel Kurtzleben explains, the proposal demands the militant group effectively surrender.

There are 20 points, and among those are a plan for governing Gaza. It would be headed by a committee of what the plan calls qualified Palestinians and international experts. And that committee itself would be overseen by what's called a board of peace, which would be chaired by President Trump. And Hamas would have no role in this. Besides that, all hostages still held by Hamas would be returned and in turn, Israel would return a number of prisoners and detainees that it has been holding.

NPR's Danielle Kurtzleben reporting. Police say all people have been accounted for as they work to clear the burned out Mormon church in Grand Blank, Michigan. It comes after a gunman killed four people and set the church ablaze. Alex McLennan of member station WDET reports.

The suspect, 40 year old Thomas Jacob Sanford, was killed at the scene. He was a Marine veteran who law enforcement say had been arrested in the past for burglary and operating while intoxicated. FBI acting Special agent in Charge Reuben Coleman says investigators are still working to determine a motive.
