In Washington, I'm Giles Snyder. President Trump is calling an expanded ceasefire agreement between Thailand and Cambodia a historic deal. The agreement builds on a truce that Trump helped broker three months ago that ended a deadly border dispute.
C
Eighteen Cambodian prisoners of war will be released. And under this agreement, observers from ASEAN countries, including Malaysia, will be deployed to make sure that the peace prevails and endures. I have no doubt that it will.

Trump presided over the signing ceremony at the start of the regional summit of the association of Southeast Asian nations in Kuala Lumpur. However, longstanding differences over the border remain. President Trump says he will place an additional 10 10% tariff on Canadian products. His announcement follows an anti tariff ad campaign run by the province of Ontario on major US Television networks. As Dan Carpenter reports, the anti tariff.
D
Ad campaign featured clips of an address by former President Ronald Reagan saying tariffs do not work. An infuriated Trump terminated all trade talks with Canada, calling the ads a fraud. The government of Ontario, which paid $75 million Canadian for the ads, planned to pull them on Monday, still leaving them to be seen by millions of Americans watching the world. Now, Trump says they should have been taken off the air immediately, and he announced a further 10% tariff on Canadian goods as punishment. A Canadian government official says Prime Minister Mark Carney was not given any warning about the added tariff. Carney is in Malaysia for the ASEAN summit and has not spoken to Trump. LA scored two more times in the eighth. And that was more than enough run support for Dodger starter Yoshi Yamamoto, who pitched the first World Series complete game since 2015. LA manager Dave Roberts on Yamamoto's performance.
C
Outstanding.
E
