Welcome to on the Chain. This is Jeff here with co host Chip. What is going on? Chip? What's going on? Everybody out there in the. I was gonna say bitcoin world. In the bitcoin world.
Chip
Yeah.
Jeff
On the chain world. Good morning to everybody out there in Slovakia and New York and Belgium and the uk because you got Yorkshire over in the UK tuning in, man. Go to Australia tuning in. We got London, man. Everyone's popping. And give a quick shout out where you're tuning in from. We have a lot to get into, Chip. Xrp. Boom. That's what I'm talking about. RL USD launches across major exchanges. The ripple effect accelerates. We're going to get in, we're going to workshop that. And Jim, you know what? I'm getting fed up with all those youtubers out there, all the fan FOMO FUD boys who are out there. You guys know who you are. You know who you are.
Chip
They don't know who they are. That's the whole point.
Jeff
Apparently they don't.
Chip
Problem is what they are. We know they don't know they're the last.
Jeff
Florida is here. Crypto. Six foot.
Chip
Sorry, Last one to know.
Jeff
The last ones to know, Chip.
Chip
Last. Always the last ones to know.
Jeff
All right, what do you say? Grab your cup of coffee. Make sure you get some badass Yeti's coffee.
Chip
Badass Yeti's coffee right here, my man.
Jeff
There you go. Get that obsidian bold because it's dark roasted. It's great. It's smooth, it's rich in flavor, but it's hot.
Chip
Oh, yummy.
Jeff
Smells so good.
Chip
You ready?
Jeff
Damn, that's hot.
Chip
Let's go. Welcome to on the Chain. Welcome, everybody. Smash that. Like, smash. It says crypto. Well, but I second that for you. My. All the Florida family. A lot of Florida family in the house today. Good morning, pa. Where you in Philly? You in Pittsburgh? Where you at? Allentown. Where the hell are you in pa Hit the like while we drink coffee and talk about crypto. That's right. Crypto.
Jeff
Crypto and coffee.
Chip
Coffee go together like your favorite topics. Butter on a breakfast toast. They love it. Well, the big story here today, I mean, it's. It's great to see that when the RLUSD rolled out just a couple weeks ago, two weeks ago, that it was on a limited number of exchanges. And what we're seeing is that, oh, check it out, some more exchanges are adopting it. What is that that's good for? That's good for adoption. Rlusd. But there's a great Exchange called Bullish. Well, name for an exchange or what? Bullish Digital asset Exchange. Offers market leading, order depth and consistently tight spreads in a regulated environment. They're in Gibraltar. DLT license. Like rice and beans. That's right. Black beans and rice. Gotta love that.
Jeff
I had some black beans and rice last night with some mahi fish tacos over at the Margaritaville.
Chip
Yummy, yum yums. That's good. I had some yesterday, too. Interesting. Friday is always taco day for me. I don't know why it's never Tuesday.
Jeff
Interesting. Man, I was almost getting a burger. Aaron got the steak. I was. I was so tempted to get the steak. And for some reason I walked in there in a fish taco kind of mode.
Chip
Yeah.
Jeff
When that happens. So I order my fish tacos. You know what they brought out? Catch of the day. I'm looking at catch of the day on a bed of rice. I'm like, I'm not in the mood for that. Wanted fish tacos. You know what they did? They brought that in the back, like. Oh, incidentally, the fish tacos are made out of the same thing as the fre. The catch of the day. They chopped it up and stuck it in the taco. And I laughed because he came right back out. I said, all you do is chop it up.
Chip
There you go. Perfect. Gonna take over the world, says Miguel. There you go. Take a shot at every time you say xrp. Take a shot.
Jeff
Xrp.
Chip
Xrp. Let's go. So the bullish, this one's. I guess their license is in Gibraltar, but they said they're pleased to announce. Please, Jeff. They're pleased to announce. The ripple's regulated. Stable coin. The rlusd now available on bullish seasons regions, I think. Well, I know their license is in Gibraltar, but I don't know.
Jeff
There you go.
Chip
Let's see where they're at. Bullish.com. they got that URL and everything. Look at that. I understand. Let's go. Best execution in crypto. Let's see if we can find out. If we. Let's see. What does it say? Margin trading derivatives is high risk. Ooh, margin trading and derivatives on their platform. Yeah, it's incorporated and registered in Gibraltar. There you go.
Jeff
Not available in Hong Kong or Germany. Only available to eligible professionals.
Chip
There you go. Regulated audit. Audited client. This safeguarding your. Your assets. Robust custody. Independently audited by Deloitte. There you go. It's good.
Jeff
I like that.
Chip
The other financials right there. It's good to know. Yeah, I mean, every. Every exchange should Do a financial audit and be public so that you know, you know.
Jeff
By a third party.
Chip
Yeah, third party. Deloitte's a good, good firm.
Jeff
Deloitte's a good one.
Chip
Gain access to range of trade. So it's cool. I just love the fact that it's called Bullish and I never heard of it before. So I don't know if you guys. Maybe it's a European thing, I don't know, maybe friends know a little bit more about it. But maybe, you know, maybe not. Mark in Frisco, Texas, maybe he's never heard of it. Who knows? I don't know, can't know.
Jeff
But I've never heard of Bullish.
Chip
I love the name and I love the URL. Bullish. I'm not endorsing it at all.
Jeff
Imagine you get that though. How do you get that URL bullish.com. you would think it would have been taken eons ago.
Chip
Yeah, look at this, look at the market. It's their biggest market. So you can see XRPs there, down to 216. Obviously Bitcoin's their main one. Right. They also say that these are the eligible reason regions. Right. So usdc, there's a Bitcoin XRP to RO USD, the ETH, USD, the euro and Solana, there's all the pairs that they have. Some good pairs. I mean the most popular pairs. Right. You know, if you think about it, XRP and Bitcoin, Bitcoin, that, that Ethereum has its own, you know, it's on Ethereum too. So you have the rlsg which is a really smart move. I love that it's multi chain. That's another big key reason important. Yeah, it is a big question missing. Right. Because you need a stable coin. What better? Who better to create one that's going to be regulated and it's already ready for use. But Ripple and then you've got this other exchange here too. Let's see, Independent reserve. First crypto exchange in Singapore, it's the stable coin Ripples RL USD. So we got two brand new ones. This happened right before the holiday but we weren't on so and so. You know, Singapore customers can trade RLUSD and SGD USD on our which is the Singapore dollar on their book and the OTC desk. But again, cool news man. Good, good to see that. And then Sir Beef chimes in with higher xrp. That's what we want, right? We want. So there's a lot of happiness going on. There you have it.
Jeff
Except meme is saying Take a look at the price of XRP since the RL USD launch. Right. There was some anticipation, some FOMO anticipation that with the launch of RL USD you would see some excitement over XRP and maybe push valuation of the XRP up just because people are bullish in nature over what's happening in the space. But you know what? The exact opposite happens. Anytime there's good news in the XRP region, price point goes down.
Chip
Well, I mean, it's just, you know, I never expected a big bump. You'll see it over the next course of the next year, but we're not going to see it immediately. And plus there's not a, there's not a huge supply right now either. And a lot of people were selling off, taking profits. You know, I saw DM logic out there saying you got to grab the bull, buy the balls, and if you got it, then you got to take profits. Everyone has a different strategy. You know, if you're, if you're, you know, if you go up to 274 and you take it at 274 and you come all the way down to 216, you buy back, in you go. That's great in hindsight when you can check the market. But if you time it wrong, you could lose big too. Right. And if you go sell everything and then you don't buy in quick enough and then you could have made. Everyone has a different strategy.
Jeff
So I can't time the market.
Chip
Yeah, I mean that's just going too much. Stocks. You can't necessarily time the market. You can look at charts all day long. But I mean, if anybody really can't.
Jeff
Time the top, you can't time the bottom, you know, and that's one of the things one, you know, I read this amazing book on trading and follow the principles put, put it into, into play. Pick the stocks. I was every day picking stocks, spying stocks, selling stocks, and it was really good, you know, and 30, 40 returns and it was great. And it was a lot of work, like every day to research and find the right basket of stocks because I was looking using kind of the rubber band effect, those that were way overstretched and they're getting ready to bounce back and there's all these algorithms to look at, you know. But the point with all of that was, you know, there's a certain point on the way up that you sell off. You're capturing profit when it hits that. But you also have a trailing stop. So if it stops out, you know exactly what your potential Loss is going into it. You have expectation. But with this, you know, I hear, oh, you got to be bullish, grab it by the balls. But you know what, you're rolling the dice, you know, if you have a clear cut strategy. And I think it's still very difficult with cryptocurrency because of the massive swings. You can't predict when it's getting ready to go up in that massive swing and it's hard to predict down. But I guess all these TA guys could say otherwise, that they're predicting it and they know, you know, but to not have any idea and just go in and say, oh, I'm bullish on the way up, so I'm going to start pulling profits out. Well, like you said, Jeff, how do you know? And then how are you going to time it? You know, or if you're the buy and hold kind of guy, you know what, you know, your objective is you think it's going to be around for the next 20, 30, 40 years and whatever, you know, 10 years out, you're buying and you're, and you're doubling down, you're buying in additional opportunity. When it comes to, everyone has a different strategy. But you know, I think, you know, sometimes you gotta put it away and forget about it or if you're planning on trading, that's, that's a whole different world, you know, And I think you got to be really, really careful. And that's, that's been my concern with that trip, is that there's too many people that talk about that and then people go in and try to trade and typically you're going to lose, you're not going to come out on the winning end of it. People are going to end up losing on it because you're going to try to guess who and you're going to try to predict and it's going to, you know, and you're not basing off of clear cut analysis. And even then there's a percentage that are going to be losers, you know, you're not going to win 10 out of 10, you might win, you know, six out of 10. So that means you're going to have four losers. But if you don't predict what your downside is, you know, so if you're buying in and it drops out, drops down, there has to be a, a stop point where you're like, hey, you know what, I'm willing to take a 10% loss on it and I'm out. But on the upside, you know, I'm looking for bigger upsides. Whatever that looks like, and minimizing and minimizing your risk. That, that's really critical. But I don't hear that kind of talk, you know, from these guys. And you know, I find it, you know, you and I talked about, you know, looking at options and derivatives and all these things within the crypto space. I think we're getting ready to move in that direction. My point, I think is that we're still way too premature in this space with this type of investment to even think about all these other, you know, technical products that, that are available because of the, the wide, massive swings and it's, you know, just, you know, highly subjective to FOMO and FUD and you know, being very difficult. That, that's kind of my take on it. Here's crypto saying, David made XRP first, then made BTC as a test run for XRP so the masses would learn and use crypto with BTC first. That's just crypto. Six foot saying that.
Chip
I don't know about that.
Jeff
But why doesn't David Shore just come out and admit, admit it once and for all. Come on, David.
Chip
I think that's the first problem with that. I think that might be his first problem because he left. I mean whoever satoshi was abandoned and said we have more work to do or something was the last sort of.
Jeff
Like message that was the greatest statement.
Chip
And we, we never heard again. You know, I mean from, from what it was. But I wanted to. So this is the video.
Jeff
I think Satoshi died.
Chip
So she could have very well died. Crypto Eddie says this is the best advice for my crypto buddy since 2018, which is DM logic at I am the debate when you got the bull by the balls, cash that money out. And so that's, that's the, that's sort of the, the advice there. We'll play the video and look, I'm not saying this is bad advice. I mean for it's, it's, it's sound advice. It just depends on your strategy. You know, one of the few.
Jeff
A lot of people are hyped up about your investments. XRP in particular. Glad to see you back. Community is super hyped about where XRP is going. You've been through it. Some people have been through two bull runs already holding on to their XRP and round tripping, going up, coming back down because the profits never got to where you thought they were going to go to. And so you never cashed out.
Chip
Correct.
Jeff
If you got, if you got the bull by the balls and you're winning.
Chip
The game if you do.
Jeff
You are one of the very few in these markets who is ahead like that when you got the bull by the balls. Cash that money out.
Chip
Tell you about it. Let me tell you about a, Jeff. I'm going to tell you about a. Who did just that. I was gonna ask 4X'd his money Bitcoin in the 2000s and sold it in the 800s.
Jeff
And how was it.
Chip
That moron is sitting right here, Jeff.
Jeff
That more you can never look backwards up. How was it at that moment in time and you cashed out and you forexed your money. How does it feel?
Chip
But if I look back now and I realized how much bitcoin I actually had.
Jeff
But you can't. Yeah, I guess you can't.
Chip
But, but, but the strategy. Had I employed the same strategy, would I have felt bad if I sold it at 80, 000 and it went to 100? Probably not as bad as I felt given losing all that bitcoin back in the day. But again, that was. There was no precedent for anything. Any crypto going over a thousand dollars. So the fact that it could come back down to zero or, you know, and the pennies. But I'm just saying, like, there's two sides of that coin. And for me, it's like, okay, well, I have a number that I want to sell that. When it gets to that number, I'll sell it. Sure. Should I make some profits along the way? Yeah, I've done it with other tokens. But it all depends on your strategy. And it's. I don't think it's a bad one. I think it's certainly a decent sort of a strategy. But it depends what your appetite is. There's a really good question here from Sooner, Sooner and Southwest Florida right here. He says, thoughts on Rumble Accepting the partnership with Tether. Also, effects on delisting. Love Rumble. So interested in disclosure they might have been given effects on the entire market. Yeah. So that's. That's interesting. Look, I mean, it was. I've got the story right here. We've got it. Let's look at this. Here we are.
Jeff
There we go.
Chip
I'll just take this off here. But come on, man. Where's the. Damn.
Jeff
That's. That's a big investment.
Chip
Yeah. $775 million. Tether stock sort went over 75. The big winner right there was if you held Rumble stock, you know, over 75% is a pretty solid uptick. So the digital asset company, tether made a 775 million dollar strategic investment disclosed by Rumble. After the announcement, Rumble stock was up 76, trading at 12 to represent investor excitement. Under the deal, Tether will buy 103 million Rumble Class A common stock shares at 7.50 each from the earnings. I mean, if you look at that, Jeff, just calculate what, 103. What's the difference between 103 million at $7 and 50 cents. Now it's trading in the 12 range right there.
Jeff
I mean, that's, that's a nice gain, you know, $5 a share.
Chip
Yeah. Across. Across 100 million. Across 100 million shares. It's 500 million. Is that right?
Jeff
500 million. 500 million. Yeah. It's nice.
Chip
So there you go. So there's the investment. They put 775 million in. They got. Made their 500, they got their 500 back. I mean, at least they can pull.
Jeff
That off the table and they're back to flush. Almost.
Chip
Yeah. But then they, then they don't have the investment anymore in there. But I'm just saying the point of it is like, you know, who knew was going to go up there, but it wasn't a losing case for them. The remaining from the earnings Rumble intends to deploy 250 million to support its financial sheet and drive growth objectives. You know what I'd like them to do? I like them to sit the F down right now and create an API so that streamers like us can easily use it. Because it's a pile of heaping dog excrement. It is the worst experience out of anything out there. Their app is crappy. Do I love the content? Yes. Do I love the company? Love Rumble. Would love to do more on Rumble, unfortunately, whoever's running their, their tech stack, but at the wheel, it hasn't changed in years. You can't go forward with a mediocre, shitty product. You just can't. So I hope, you know, I, again, Rumble's fantastic, but the app is clunky. The, the, the way we have to connect like Jeff and I like. I'll just give you an idea. We, when we go set up a stream to go somewhere else, we just connect it and it's done and then we put all the information in and then it sends it everywhere. Not so with Rumble. Jeff, detail how fun it is to use Rumble.
Jeff
Well, you know, we actually had it. We actually had it set up. But you, you have to go in specifically over to Rumble, make some adjustment changes to it. So with all the other, with, well, with X and YouTube and others, we set it up in the platform and you kind of set it and forget it. With Rumble you got to set it. Then you got to set it on Rumble as well. Then you got to monitor and make sure it works. Then you got to make sure that Rumble when, when you do that didn't ch. Change your previous thumbnail. So that happened quite a bit too. We'd update, get everything ready to go. Then we'd go back and we'd look at. And all of a sudden the previous thumbnail from the previous video was changed to the current video thumbnail. So it would make, it would create a little confusion. So there, you know, it, it wasn't per. If it was nice and perfect, you know, it would have been, it would have been good. I don't think we're getting the aggressive engagement over on Rumble either that we're anticipating X growing exponentially. You know, I think we get a significant amount of engagement on X. Given the fact that X is still a very limited platform for video content. There's no easy way to go back and find video only content, you know, to. If you go to on the chain like I just, well, you know, I just want to go and see all their videos kind of in a format like a YouTube. There is no X video platform taken on YouTube anytime soon. Hopefully, hopefully we'll see something, you know, pretty great. That'll be. That will be dropping in in the near future. Crypto six foot saying Tether out of Europe for now. We shall see if the US does the same with Tether. You know, so I, I get it, you know, with the Rumble, that investment chip, almost a billion dollar investment. Not bad. You know, how do you turn that down? How do you say oh you want to give me a billion dollars? No, I think I'll not take that. You know, I mean massive buy in, you know, to the company. Question is why is Tether doing it? What's Tether's purpose other than making a quick buck? If they were to sell, if they're allowed to sell off, you know, some of the shares to capture some of that gain, but probably not, you know, and, and the question then lies in what? Why is Tether trying to build value? Where you know, why are they moving that money? Well, what's the purpose behind.
Chip
You could call it an investment in there. But when somebody buys that much, that number of. Of stock at a pre, you know, usually if you're going to buy a big bag like that, it's you set up, you know, a pre arranged. And of course because it's Such a significant value. It's got to be approved by the board. But Chris Pavlowski, who's the CEO over there, retains all of the. He's the majority owner. The. They don't get a board seat. So, you know, it's just like somebody buying into an org, but again, they bought at a predetermined price. There's that bit of it. I still just, you know, like. Like, for example, Elon Musk put this out there. He was saying, what features did x add in 2024? And this is like the road map. Like, they did a lot of stuff, right? But you. You can see on here where if you look at the video portion of it, there wasn't like a lot of stuff. This is video Spaces, you know, back in February of 24. Again, does anybody really use that? Not really. You know, some of this stuff, you just, you know, it's kind of in the back end. You don't really see it. You can edit the. Great. That was something that was kind of cool. You could go back, you know, he spelled something wrong. You could change it, but. And he says, what was added to X in 2025 will be even more. And I said this, I said, why don't you make a real run of being a YouTube competitor? Our podcast live stats are strongest on X versus YouTube. There has to be a way to create a channel similar to YouTube where all the videos can live for replay and. And a companion app to go with it or even if they adapt the app because there's no home, right? So what we do the equivalent of right now, we're streaming on X. And again, our numbers on X are far greater than anything on YouTube. And if they. If they turn into a real competitor, I feel like it would really take off. Right? And the problem with, with it right now is those videos die in a month. They're gone. Videos don't exist. Just so that. That's not a true video platform. It's a. Right here, right now, right now, we're doing spaces. We can record spaces. Okay, so where do I go to, like to see all of the spaces? Right? There's a bunch of people that do great shows, they do great content, and then it's gone forever, right? If you don't back it up to like a YouTube channel, it's gone. So this is what I'm saying. If you had a place where you could click over and say, oh, just like there's a little tab on our. On the chain. We can just click on there and you can See, oh, there's all the videos that they've done. You know, similar to what YouTube has. John Doe, an OG here at on the Chain, said, yeah, Elon Chip and the. And Jeff's channel have a great point. Creators are finding more success on X than YouTube, especially when it comes to content that focuses around current events and news. Elon X team create a solution that looks good and the viewers. Creators will. Will follow. Says we'll feed, but I think we'll follow, but we'll feed into it. I'm like that that's. I appreciate that comment too. Like backing that up. And if we just get there, Jeff, it would be great because I really believe that Elon Musk could totally take down YouTube if he does it right. Who knows? He's been talking about it now. What's weird is you can get YouTube. They have a. You. They have a. Or not YouTube. You can get an X app just. Just video for your TV that just looks at videos. So it sounds like he's starting to think that way. He's talked about. He's floated ideas, but we need to see more, Jeff. I. I just think we've. We do see more.
Jeff
More from Elon. He's not busy enough with Doge and SpaceX and everything else. He just has to hire some, you know, good to have a good focus, build it out. It's almost there. Tech is almost there. You know, figure out how to do it. X will blow up. You know, if they put video over there, it'll be the only competitor that can take on YouTube on a large scale. And maybe that's what they're waiting on, you know, dropping a really amazing competitive product because Rumble's kind of out there. X already has. It would be. It would be really amazing. Be really amazing to see that. I would love it.
Chip
Be good by the balls. Why don't you try to squeeze some extra juice? I was gonna buy.
Jeff
Buy the way.
Chip
600 a piece. My wife nagged me. Don't buy so much. I bought three and sold the 38. To this day, I don't let her forget it. Yeah, well, I got a story. I don't go there, man. Just gonna know.
Jeff
But still. Well, that's. It's not a bad gain though. So obviously, you know, you can look back in retrospect and say, but look at, look at that. You know, the margin gain. So you can say I did good. But your strategy then wasn't buy and hold. You weren't long term putting it away, forgetting about it and then seeing what it's going to be in 10 years with XRP. There's a lot of people, you know, that are just putting in and forgetting about it, you know, and then box.
Chip
Jeff, and be like, hey, yeah, and to making over 100, you know, 120Ks. Although it's beautiful.
Jeff
That's good. I'll be like, hey, I'm out. That's it. You know, I'm good with 120k, pay off a mortgage, go buy a car, whatever, you know, whatever you want to do. Go invest in real estate. And you say my 120k now is more valuable if I go buy a condo and put it up on Airbnb. Maybe you'll start generating some monthly income off of it, you know, and you never know what's going through your head at that exact moment. And. And you're happy with it. And it's. And it's not good. And by the way, you see this tempest, Chip, this badass white tribe yetis, Tempest is going to be given away to somebody watching the show today. We're going to do a drawing for this bad boy because this bad boy is kick ass. And if you look at the detail now, we're. We have another announcement because we did something special for those that are out there that want to get into holding one of these NFTs, and for those that have already held the NFTs, and we want to make sure that people can still get these NFTs if they. If they want, and not look and say, wow, the price of XRP is, you know, now just way too expensive. But we also want to keep being able to, you know, do giveaways like this, and we have more in the project to come. A lot of things that we want to be able to accomplish. But check this guy out. Chip, you see the detail on this guy.
Chip
Right back. Jeff, Hang on. I'll be right back.
Jeff
He's leaving. Chip is going away. But if we look at the detail of what this guy is, he has some sort of a badass yeti's tool here, Tempest kind of get up there into the Himalayan mountains. Yeah, they're badass. Doesn't really need a sword or anything. That guy will tear you limb from limb. You see the claws on his feet, on his hands, and then his teeth. These guys are just badass. So when you guys start typing in yeti, then when we do the drawing, you guys will have a chance to win one of these badass yetis, which is really cool. So ever I see people already typing in, and when you have the Zaman wallet just simplifies the whole process. So we, you give us your Zaman wallet address, you got to stay in because we're going to do the drawing a little bit in a little bit. But when you win, you just throw your ZW in here. We'll do the transaction transfer right over there. And it's great because if we look back and I say, hey, over the last couple shows we had Sean, Sean Thompson, 1A badass Yeti, Fred Hoffman, Spec Ops, Zober Meditations, SMG Pro Gaming, Lethal and many others. Those are all in the, in the badass white tribes. And then if I go into the badass with the Blue tribe, which we haven't given away a blue tribe in a little while, so we're gonna have to do that. But we got Kevin White, Visual Vendetta, Ray Run Cash Velocity and actually I'm looking here, Cash Velocity actually has won a Blue tribe and a white tribe. So that's pretty amazing. That's really cool. We got a whole list of people that have been winning these badass yetis and they're really nice, really cool. And it's really exciting to see people being able to engage, some for the very first time actually getting an experience with the NFT technology. So do the, the, the giveaway, you have your Zman wallet, you're able to capture it. You go to the, look at that, you go to the XRP Cafe and then you can connect your wallet over here in this little corner here, connect up your wallet and then boom, you know you're connected. And then you can go and see, if you click that, you'll see all your cool NFTs that you hold. If you've never done it before, you can see the NFT over on your zombie wall. You can see it. That's the beginning stages of utility of nft, which is exciting. So if you think about like what does the XRPL mean? How, how does it, how do you impact and interact with it other than going on an exchange and buying some asset? Well, you buy an NFT and you can hold that NFT in the wall, you can transfer it. You can see like this is the beginning stages of utility within the blockchain space. I think it's a really cool example of it. Obviously Chip, as we move forward, there's a lot of technology out there yet to be adopted and, and adapted to modern day in terms of what can be done in real estate. Fractional ownership. Imagine you have fractional ownership and it's represented your Deed is represented. Buy a cool, badass yeti nft as an example. Be like, I got this. This tempest means I own 20 of your real estate property. That's what it means. Or you can set them loose and you can go, you know, have a little bit of a battle. We can go for a free for all, you know, pvp battle to see who's going to win and you can have your character. And that means whoever wins at the end with last man standing gets the real estate. That'd be a cool thing too.
Chip
It would be a cool thing. But let's. We're not promising anything. Let's put that.
Jeff
No, no, we're not promising any of that. I'm just.
Chip
That exists today.
Jeff
That doesn't exist.
Chip
Not even talking about that famous year. Jeff. Let's not get it.
Jeff
I'm not saying that any of that is. Here's his examples.
Chip
This is the new pricing right here. So Bay being badass yetis the blue tribe. We've reduced. This is a limited time only, guys. Blue tribe is going to be 16 XRP and it's great to see them. You know, a lot of support coming in for this. We changed it. Didn't even announce it yet. And we, we are to start to see these. These guys move. And the white tribe will be 12 XRP. So this here's the blue tribe right here. And it's almost. It's nearly minted out there. It's like 20 left of that. And that'll be gone forever once those mint out. And then there's the bad. The badass yetis. Let's see the. The white tribe. Let's do the white tribe. We'll do that one. And then there's the white tribe. So 12 XRP there and then we've got.
Jeff
Sweet.
Chip
That says 125 XRP. And that's wrong. It is not 125 XRP, it's 16. Okay, there it goes. I'm a little glitching matrix there, but it's 16. 16. There you go. So if you guys. I know some people are saying, oh, I'd like to get another one. We'll go. You can go mint one right there. Go ahead and click mint. And you know, you. Once you connect your wallet, these bad boys out over here, it's easier to just do it on your mobile. You connect your wallet, then you click on the mint, see how many you want to mint. And then boom, you mint. And then XRP goes and you're there. So there you go, guys. That's it limited time only. So if you guys want to get on that action, man, jump in on that action. Let's go to XRP cafe and you can do all of that stuff, man. All of that stuff.
Jeff
The lights on over the Himalayas.
Chip
That's right. Let me take this.
Jeff
Badass yetis need lights too on the chain. So that definitely helps. So appreciate everybody out there. Check this out. LL rl USD is on the coinbase wallet. Bam. Look at that.
Chip
It's going to be everywhere. It's going to be everywhere. You know, all the other, you know, stable coins are. This was probably the best question that somebody posted right before Christmas. Neil Hartner said, and he's a. He's a developer over at Ripple. He said, I want to give my kids meme coins for Christmas so they can learn from an early age about getting rugged. What should I buy? Said, why don't you write a bunch of memes on a large piece of paper, blindfold them, throw a dart. I did something similar with the stock financials by ticker using a page in the newspaper when I was 12. It was a present from my dad. Yeah, stock tickers in the newspaper or something. I like that. And followed that as a kid. Back then, stock prices had fractions, not decibels. Do you remember that, Jeff? Back in the day in the newspaper they used to publish, like you had to wait 24 hours to see what the stock price was like. There was no real time stock price. It just would be published in the paper. Looked at all those numbers like, what is all this? And who knows? It was never accurate because you know, you could have had some volatility in the stock, but. And then dark horse said a few questions before answer. Do you want the effect to be instantaneous while. While they watch a slow bleed out or a swipe when you're not kind of looking kind of lesson? Neil says maybe one of each. A meme coin cocktail, if you will.
Jeff
Oh, my God. That's great.
Chip
This is funny stuff, man. Just. That is something.
Jeff
Adrian. Yes, your blue as yeti counts. I didn't go that high up the list, but Adrian also won. Adrian s with a blue badass yeti, which is really cool. He also won, so that's also very cool. Got a really nice badass yeti also, if we think about the badass yeti ness.
Chip
Yeah, you know what, Adrian, you could also take your cool badass yeti and replace that. That lightning bolt there and put your badass yeti up there. Display it proudly. Man, I love when I love When I see like crypto whelp right there. See that boom displayed proudly. You see that Jim D's not here late again, but that's okay. But he always has his YETI up there. But you see a lot of folks that have their yetis. I like that.
Jeff
It is very cool. I like seeing that the Yetis. Yetis are taking over. That's really cool.
Chip
Look at this here, Jeff. So uphold takeover. Here's your XRP report for the week. Ripple CTO spotlights RL USD stablecoin Benefits. Now you think if you're the exchange like uphold and you and you have the second most XRP like out of all the, you know, besides Ripple, you know, as far as supply is concerned, you think you would know that Joel Katz is his handle on X at Joel Katz, but his name is David Schwartz. They say Joel Katz, Ripple cto. No, that's not correct. I mean it's David Schwartz. Shared insights into the newly launched RO USD and its potential within the XRPL ecosystem. RL USD introduces new option or new opportunities for developers and expands use cases on the XRP ledger. And by leveraging XRP as a bridge asset through auto bridging, rlusd is set to boost trading volume. Ripple's ecosystem benefit as XRP drives across drives cross border payments while Ripple USD supports growth on chain applications. There's Jim D. Like real world assets, the effects markets, FX markets and trade settlements Schwartz described. The RL USD and XRP is complementary assets that could shape the future of Ripple's offerings. What's your take? My take is let's get his name right. That's my take.
Jeff
Whose name?
Chip
You. You weren't paying attention, Jeff.
Jeff
I missed the name.
Chip
You missed the name? I got into the name. But they don't know Joel Katz is his handle. It's not.
Jeff
That's funny.
Chip
Yeah, that's what you.
Jeff
I missed it. I'm like, who's Joel Katz we talking about? Yeah, it's not his name.
Chip
Huh?
Jeff
There's Fred. Check it out. Fred Hoffman. Fred's a proud owner of a badass Yetis. That's right. Kick ass, badass Yetis. Got a whole bunch of stuff going on over there. You know what else is very cool? Let me see. Let me see if I can find it. Let me see if we can pull this bad boy up. Let's see here. Where is it, Chip? Where is. Missing it.
Chip
There you go, man.
Jeff
Sometimes X is hard to follow. Try to find stuff.
Chip
It can be, Jeff. It certainly can be. So I throw a little Comment in there. It's just so let's. I mean I think you would know that. But whoever runs out of cow apparently doesn't know. They don't know. They just don't know.
Jeff
They don't know. They don't know. Chip.
Chip
And so you remember, remember Raul Paul was like all like downtrodden on. On. He was all negative against xrp. Then he kind of came back to the community after it kind of like went up to 270. He's like, okay, hey, I made a mistake. Now he's here's. He's saying some more stuff about xrp. Let's listen in.
Jeff
Next shot. XRP itself.
Chip
Fabulous pattern.
Jeff
Look at wedge. Off the wedge of the wedge. Off the wedge. So we're just building another wedge now. Ready for the next break high.
Chip
So that move now it's weird. Building another wedge now it's. XRP is doing fabulous. Whoa. It's a whole different turnaround here because you know, he's a whole different.
Jeff
It's a wedge.
Chip
It is clearly not done.
Jeff
Never forget, if you look at the weekly chart of xrp, it's a stunner. This massive seven year wedge is broken. Who knows where this chart goes to? It's very powerful. But then go back to that chart of Sui versus XRP and it's suggesting.
Chip
That Sui should even outperform this.
Jeff
So that's the perspective I have now. It's not always.
Chip
He made it pretty far until he told everybody that SUI would outperform xrp.
Jeff
But no, then it kind of crashed and burned.
Chip
He's going to be 100. He's not wrong though, right?
Jeff
That's right. Caroline. Want to give a big shout out to Caroline. She supplied all the amazing plants and flowers and stuff at the woi. And, and she said she was going to get us some lemon trees.
Chip
That's what we heard.
Jeff
That was the rumor.
Chip
That's what we heard.
Jeff
I'm just. Just some lemon trees repeating the rumor. I'm repeating. That's it.
Chip
They get it so wrong. They get a lot of stuff so wrong. I mean, my gosh, you know, because I think the person runs the account, isn't it aren't the same people that do the business side? So you have. Because you know, we've seen what happens when you unleash an intern. So like, hey, you know what your job is going to be? What is it going to be? You're going to post stuff on our, on our X account. Okay. You know, it's like they go see Joel cats. They At Joel Katz, they think it's his name, even though it says David Schwartz. I don't know how they get it wrong, but Uphold is usually pretty much on top of that. But whoever runs the account is missing a few something or other. I don't know what's going on there.
Jeff
But that's what it is. Meditate. I think Uphold forgot the hyperlink. That's probably the case. It just seems like they just forgot to hit the AT sign and someone typed it in. They probably copied and pasted. They probably did something a little bit off, and it just didn't work out. All right.
Chip
Oh, look at that.
Jeff
Lemon trees are coming for sure. How about that?
Chip
Hey, now, that's what we want.
Jeff
Chip, check this out. Now check this out. See that, man? That was broadcasted out there in the X world. When sending Fluff World emissaries to visit badass yetis. You want to look the part. This is badass. Look at that. That's a fluff bunny over there.
Chip
And he's showing up.
Jeff
Hang out. Amazing as an elder. He's coming to hang out with an elder in the Himalayas. Check him out. He's got the fur. He's got everything. He's ready to go. Coming to visit. He's gonna come and check. He's the emissary. He's got to meet with one of the. The badass yeti elders. There's only seven elders, so this is obviously one of the seven elders. And the elders are badass. And, you know, as an elder, Rob.
Chip
Scroll a little bit.
Jeff
Love the elders. Let's scroll. You want to scroll?
Chip
Yeah, there's. There's another. He put another post on there. There's the other one because.
Jeff
Yeah, I had responded to him, and I said, well, you know, we'll. We'll let him in, and he's gonna have his. One of the guardians will be his overwatch. And so he sent a guardian or the emissary. There you go. So you got the emissary guardian coming to hang out with one of the guardians that protect the dominion of the of the elders. So there's a whole bunch of guardians. They're obviously on the front line. They're the ones responsible for making sure nothing happens to the elders. And then one day, when it's time for an elder to move on, one of the guardians replace them, and magically they grow into one of these badass elders, which is really cool. So it's really, really. And I love seeing that kind of discourse and moving stuff going on. That's really Cool.
Chip
Really sweet. Yeah, thanks for doing that. I appreciate that, man.
Jeff
And then against yeti. No, no, Gensler is not going to be a yeti. He'll be something else that they'll put on a.
Chip
They'll be, like, hung on a wood spigot over the top of a pot as a. As a sacrifice. Then we had. We had Gasparino, Charlie Gasparino, Chupacabra line. Yeah, Chupacabra. Badass Chupacabras could be next. We have the. We do. Those elders are pretty cool, man.
Jeff
Look at. Look at that, man. He's got one.
Chip
And you know the. So Charlie Gasparino was on with your boy Pomp. Remember he used to say, hey, it's your boy Pump. I'm like, well, your boy pomps in his 40s, okay? You're not your boy boy anymore. But Pomp, Pompliano, who gets a lot of press these days, but he. He was on his podcast and he was talking about the X. He was talking about XRP and Ripple. Listen to this. I want to get your take on this. And everybody here, I want to hear your thoughts on this.
Jeff
Is that your boy Pump?
C
You're also saying, you know, I get a lot of. From the Ripple XRP people like, you know, which you gave me a funny story before we talk about. I was the mainstream reporter that dived into how they got. How they might have been unfairly singled out. I mean, I literally, me and Ellie Terrett literally wrote this seminal piece on this, and we wrote it because it was so bizarre what happened. I did a hit.
Jeff
So what?
C
Ellie's sitting over there. When did we write that story?
Chip
November 2021.
C
Okay. November 2021, top of the market. We wrote the story about how this company Ripple is under the. From the sec and how, you know, there's this huge, you know, fight that's going on about whether they're being unfairly. Unfairly prosecuted or regulated. And we covered it from many different angles. The reason why I did that story is because maybe three or four years earlier, I did a piece about. I think it was about Ethereum and Consensus where I said they wanted to establish their own. They're looking to establish their. A regulatory regime. Someone, a guy named John Deaton, who's like a big XRP guy and good friend of mine, John Deaton found that. That clip and he posted it.
Chip
I think he ever gave me that steak dinner. I'm still waiting to hear on that. I'll ask John about that. He ever got the steak dinner.
Jeff
I'm not sure if it ever happened.
Chip
But this is an interesting story that I'd never heard before of how John, how influential John Deaton was here. So he listened and I got like.
C
4 million tweets @ me. I mean remember, it was like non stop and it kept going. So I called John Dean up. He didn't know me, I don't know him. And I said, what is this? He goes, you don't remember doing this? I said, yeah, kind of. It was like years ago. And then he, then he introduced me to the Ripple case. And so I am. I always thought the regulation of Ripple was, I mean just needless given all think about it, they were going after Ripple and xrp. Sam Bankman fried, you know, was, you know, was going nuts, you know, essentially ripping people off. So I always felt that was regulatory over.
Chip
This is so incongruent what he's saying here. He starts off saying that he thought it was unfair. And listen how he finished Reach.
C
I always felt there is a, a need for a safe harbor. So this technology, you know, Ripple does have an underlying technology. We've essentially forced it overseas, I believe is what. Where it is because it, it's kind of in regulatory never never land. Still to this day, the SEC is appealing a case. And then because they brought the case, this is how stupid it is. So they bring the case, they get this moron judge who says, oh no, the, they don't deserve this. Investors, the retail investors don't need the disclosure. They're okay not disclosing to retail, but they should have disclosed it to the institution. This idiotic judge didn't.
Chip
He's calling Annalisa Torres an idiotic judge now. He went from saying Ripple was unfairly targeted to now saying that she's an idiotic judge. Right.
C
Even know that she established precedent that there should be less disclosure for retail. That shows you what a mess bringing this case was and how they went after him.
Chip
So he's getting in. See the. Charlie lives in a world. The funny thing is Charlie and I are the same age, right? So it. Charlie lives in a world where it's best everything past them, right? So he's still living in stock world. He doesn't really understand the crypto thing too much. And he's, he's missing the whole point of like there are no disclosures. This is not a security, dude. He still thinks it's a security even though he thought it was unfairly brought, brought against, you know, Ripple. And then he starts saying that, well, the retail, he, you know, the, the Institutional side is what they said. Because they sold the Institutional. Yeah. The way they sold it. And so he thinks that that was a wit, a loss for Ripple. But, you know, it's he. And he's. And he doesn't even know what they're appealing. This is even the better part. He's like completely lost in the case.
C
I mean that. And so I pointing these out, you know, you do get on the side of these crazies on, on the Internet. But you know, again, I'm always going to call it like I see it. And that is a stupid ruling. XRP may suffer if it gets reversed.
Chip
Which I think there's a chance it will never suffer. He thinks it's going to get reversed. It's not even up for appeal. This is, it is the law of the land. It's the only.
Jeff
What is this interview from? When did he do this? Is this recent?
Chip
Yeah, it's recent.
Jeff
Or is this an old interview?
Chip
Oh, Jungle posted this clip. Jungle Inc. Posted this clip. I think it was Jungle. Maybe it was in Jungle. Maybe it was somebody else. Maybe it was Crypto. Eddie, Somebody posted it. Oh, you know who posted it? Dai posted it. I can still see his content, even though I'm still blocked. But Dai posted this, so. But regardless of it, I mean, it's after the court case, you know, it's an appeal, but he thinks it can get reversed.
C
May suffer if it gets reversed, which I'm. I think there's a chance it gets reversed and XRP and Ripples back on the, on the, on the hook. The SEC may drop the whole thing now that Trump's in there, though. That's a whole lot.
Chip
Okay, Trump's in there. So this after the election, this is recent.
Jeff
Yep.
Chip
Makes any sense. He just doesn't understand the, the dynamics.
Jeff
He's just, he's just talking to talk at this point. He's saying things and he's not formulating a proper narrative. He's just dropping all sorts of words and it's just, it's interesting to see a lack of clear understanding of the space. Yet he's the first one to report it. You figured he'd do a little bit more research. Figured he would dig a little bit more into the technology. Figured he dig a little bit more into the court case the guy is on. You know, he's a reporter. This is what he does. And he, he does a lot on, on finance. So I would anticipate that he would speak a little bit more intelligently on the topic. And it just doesn't seem like his narrative is following the proper trend, especially with Trump coming into office. Does he really think that at this point they're going to overturn the case? You know, now what we're going to get is more regulatory clarity based off of this case. This case was setting a level of precedence. Now we're going to get more clarity because that's what Trump is talking about, bringing more power to the hands of the people. He really think with Doge Elon Musk and, and, and Ramaswamy, that all of a sudden they're going to allow these unelected bureaucrats to continue to run roughshod. I mean, where's this guy? Like his thought process is just so incongruent. You know, it just, it stops lacking any type of meaning. And then you're, then you realize the guy's getting paid. Be interested to see how many millions of dollars he gets paid to pontificate on nonsense. And this is the problem with reporters that people think they put them on a high horse. The guy's a reporter. It was amazing. We brought Ellie Tarron on here to talk about everything that she experienced and she learned and she was just in the beginning stages of learning. The guy, you know, he's, he's a reporter that doesn't even dig into the facts. And, and this kills me. This is, you know, I could talk about a lot of these YouTubers that get on there, and I think they're more dangerous than the people that listen to them because they can research and they talk and they try to present fact. And Chip, you and I were talking about this from a religious perspective. I don't want to call any of these people out by names, but I think they're effing morons because they don't dig one little minute deeper into using Google to figure out truth. And yet they get on there and talk about fact as though it's true fact, and yet they don't even understand what they're talking about. And here's a guy talking about he's, he built his career in finance, talks about this as though he knows what he's talking about and doesn't do enough research to truly understand it, to become the expert that people are bringing them on their show to represent. The guy's not an expert. He doesn't understand. He's not able to leverage and, and say somewhat in somehow, you know, connect all the dots. From a political and financial perspective, it's mind boggling, Chip, that we can be smarter and more intelligent than someone that's getting paid millions of dollars to pontificate.
Chip
That was, that was the ransom show right there. That. It was there. It was. Just put that up.
Jeff
Kills me. It kills me every day. That's why I don't watch the news. I can't, I can't watch the news and listen to these people speak. When I know there's more intelligence in my brain, you know, I can read a, read something on. I can go online and read multiple articles within five minutes. And yet you're going to waste an hour listening to somebody like him?
Chip
You're getting cheered on, Jeff. 100, Jeff. Yep. Keep going. All right, so you know the IRS.
Jeff
I don't get a chip. I don't understand.
Chip
There's a, there's a lot not to get. But John Deaton put this up. There's a lot of stuff going on with the IRS here. Okay, so the outgoing administration is trying to lay a bunch of bombs and traps, right? Because they're anti crypto. Even though we told. Oh, they're gonna, they're gonna pivot. Well, they were trying to sell the border wall until attorney general came out and said that if it goes up for auction, we're gonna buy it. We're gonna buy the border wall panels. And then they pulled it from auction. I guess the auctioneer pulled it, but they were trying to sell off the border wall. Okay, so this is somebody who, who completely is trying to damage the party even further. You didn't apparently understand that you, the people wanted border security, so you want to go make it harder and go sell it off. They're trying to do, they're just, they're just booby trapping everything. They're like it's going to be a smooth transition. They're making it anything but smooth. Trying to crash markets, try to do a lot of bad things in the background. John Deaton put this up. You said the war in crypto War versus crypto continues. President of the United States and Elizabeth Warren administration finalizes crypto broker tax reporting rule on Friday before New Year's Eve. As expected. It's awful and unAmerican. The IRS regulation gross proceeds reporting by brokers that regularly provide services effectuating digital assets sales is an attack on D5 protocols because it imposes broker like reporting requirements on decentralized platforms that lack centralized controls. In some D5 protocols are autonomous permissionless smart contracts without intermediaries capable of collecting or reporting user information. And this regulation is akin to the fake Indian Pocahontas, Senator Warren's banker ban on Bitcoin. Bill which served as a de facto ban on self custody of Bitcoin because the requirements were absolutely impossible to comply with. So enforcing these kind of requirements on D5 will only stifle information innovation, continue to develop, drive developers and projects offshore. It's an outright attack on D5 because it undermines the core principles of decentralization and user privacy that define the essence of D5. Make no mistake about it, this 11th hour attack designed to undermine the next administration's pro crypto agenda, along with stablecoin legislation rolling back SAB 121among other things. And the new Congress should quickly reverse this 11th hour UN American bullshit. And then Jeff, I said this. Well, when SCOTUS overturned Chevron doctrine last June, agencies lost the ability to create rules that were not explicitly authorized by Congress. So tell me the legislation that Congress passed that gives the IRS a free, free reign to make rules about crypto. They don't have it. This is the whole, this was the whole powerful thing of the Chevron doctrine. These agencies were going rogue. They were making up all these policies. Congress has never, to my knowledge, has never passed anything that has anything to do with, with the IRS being able to levy these new rules about crypto. They only, they can only make law. So I keep bringing this up about this. Well, Paul Gruel, who is the chief counsel over there at Coinbase, chief legal officer, he said this, he said over and over again, this administration's targets, software developers. We see this in the suits against wallets, sanctions against tornado cash, and now this. It flies in the face of what Congress authorized. See, he's, he's, he's hinting at the doctrine, right, that Chevron. But he doesn't say it in the face of what Congress authorized. And this is common sense, it will not stand. Absolutely will not stand. But they were talking. This Narish Agarwal, he's the. What is he, he is the, he's the comms commissioner or communications over there at Coin Center. Cryptocurrency policy. I don't know if they're. I think they're. So he says. We published our analysis. The IRS midnight broker guidance, he goes through. It's a big long thing. We don't have to get into it. But you know, Paul gruel is exactly 100 right here. Congress did not authorize these rogue agencies to be making these stupid rules up. Now let's bring in the Blockchain association today, which is yesterday, the Blockchain Association Fund Defi and the Texas Blockchain filed a lawsuit challenging the IRS broker rulemaking. This rule, as the countless comment letters warned, risks crippling the US Digital assets sector. And then we had Kristen Smith, who is the CEO, I believe she's a CEO of blockchain association. She said, today we're taking action. We're filing a lawsuit that argues today's broker rulemaking violates the administration procedure act and is unconstitutional. We stand with our nation's innovators. We'll continue working to ensure the future of crypto and defy is here in the United States. And Jeff, did they miss the super PAC that was backing pro crypto candidates? Like, like this is how tone deaf these people are. They never learn from their mistakes. They only. They still do the same thing. They try to hide. Oh no, we're pro crypto. Oh no, it's going to be. And they're just complete losers. What's your take on all this?
Jeff
So, you know, I'm trying to dig up, you know, if you go into the SEC and you know, some of the, the rulings that Congress passed in 1933, 1934, that kind of gave the SEC some power up. The Congress also has attributed some powers over to the IRS, but in 1986. But I was trying to pull up the exact, you know, verbiage on that, and I'm not finding the clear verbiage, but if I find it. But that all kind of brings in, you know, to the consequence of exactly what's happening. And this administration and the unelected bureaucratic agencies will continue to do things that are undermining our constitution. The problem is, is that they let them get away with it for so long and they remain unchecked by the U. S. Congress because at the end of the day, the U. S. Congress has the authority because the U. S. Congress has to pass the rulings that give the agency whatever leeway they give them. It's kind of like giving the SEC some leeway to make some sort of analysis of certain rules that are on the ground and then apply that analysis as we move forward, you know, within, you know, with future cases. And so the SEC has some semblance of, of leniency from Congress to do what they want to do until it came to, like with the, with cryptocurrencies, where there has to be a path to regulatory clarity. Gary Gensler said it's clear. In fact, it's unclear. It's super confusing. And it's super confusing because there's no regulatory clarity that's been passed, which is why under. And then that's where I'm going to pull it up, actually, if we go to the Token Taxonomy act that was written by Warren Davidson and presented the Token Taxonomy act calls to amend the securities exchange acts of 3334 in the tax code of 1986. So there's certain things that he wanted to amend to include cryptocurrency. And the reason why they wanted to amend it and, and add addition to is because there's no clarity, there's no path to clarity right now. They're just, they can run and do what they want, you know, within some sort of reason, but it's, it's opinion, it's based on the bureaucrats saying it so not based on law. And, and that's the biggest issue, which is exactly why they brought the Token Taxonomy act, which is exactly why Maxine Waters didn't want it in, because they don't want that kind of, you know, clarity and, and freedom back into the hands of the people and is exactly why Trump is talking about this path to making sure that the US Is ahead, which is exactly why Doge exists with, with Elon Musk and Ramaswami. It's to slash out all these unelected bureaucrats that think they control and have the power. But you know what? They do control and have the power right now because it's been, they've been allowed to have the power. They don't, they don't own the power. They, they don't deserve the power. They're not granted power under the Constitution. But the problem is, is that the current existing and previous congressional representatives allowed them. And then even worse, the people, we, the people allowed it to happen. So now it's a matter of getting everybody in check, making sure that they're operating within the confines of what they're supposed to operating in. Because what ends up happening is you have the blockchain associate, okay, so the IRS says what they're going to say, SEC says what they're going to say. They pass it off like it's clear and this is how it should be. But then you know what happens? It ends up in court. But years go by and a court case ensues. Millions and millions of dollars are spent at taxpayer expense because some jackass bureaucrat that thinks he has the power does what he does and he costs taxpayers millions, tens of millions, hundreds of millions of dollars with no retribution. So a bureaucrat like that, A, should lose his job, B, there should be financial penalty, you know, because they shouldn't be allowed to do knowing that it's unconstitutional. It should go through some sort of a checks and balance. They let it go. And then if the Congress is, you know, and they, and they turn a blind eye to it, they should be held accountable financially. They should be financially penalized. They should. And there should be some sort of, you know, heads need to roll and people need to lose their jobs. And that's how it brings the power back to the people. You can't have a government that, where people can't be fired and then they get pensions. Forget that. And then you have these whiny ass, you know, congressional representatives making $178,000 a year crying that they don't have enough money and they need to make $243,000 a year. You know, what kind of craziness is that? It's a part time job. Go there, work part time, do your two years. Leave. If you can't afford to be there on 178, 000, you don't belong there. Don't be there. Leave. You know what, you know what you got into. Don't cry now. You know, that's the problem. Then it all filters back into the problems that we're talking about with the SEC and the IRS and what they're doing with crypto because they, they just let their, you know, we've been allowing them to do what they're doing and, and, and that's got to come to an end. And it is coming to an end. Right? It's done. Their, their reign is over. Right? This is the end. They have no more. They could pass whatever they want to pass. Now come January 20th, it's done. You know, they're, they're all, you know, the majority of them will lose their jobs. They go work wherever they want to work. We can, they can go work in the Alaskan tundra. You know, I mean let that maybe that's where the IRS needs to be or the sec. I don't know. Send them up there. Let's see how many people want to go where. Plus they have to come into the office, you know, plus they have to move there. They can't live in, in D.C. anymore.
Chip
Base that they're paying for that like so this is what you. Ms. Charles said. Jeff rant number two. Coffee has Jeff on MVP mode.
Jeff
That's right. And I was looking for more. I'm like, oh my God, I'm out. I'm out.
Chip
Of. Make a rant. Yeti. We'll make a rant. They're all rat Yetis, dude. They're if you haven't just seen their faces, they're crazy. They're insane. He has to be bald though. He has to be a bald.
Jeff
That's right.
Chip
Right. Yeah. So here we go. There's but you know, work with a yeti.
Jeff
That's right.
Chip
Things are changing though. Cenk Uygur, who's, who's from the Young Turks, you know, a very left wing, you know, lefty sort of thing. He put up this post, he said, you know, everyone's looking for my so called pivot. It's not in the policy, it's not in the labels, it's not in the strategy. But I found it. There's something different. I don't hate the other side anymore. And that might be the biggest difference of all and the biggest sin for some. And he said that the Doge makes absolute sense and why are people on the left against it? There's been government ways for years and because the right's doing it, why are we opposing it? And so like he's got so much for this. Like, let's talk about the things we agree on. We don't have to go on about the things we disagree on. But I thought that was very well said and it's, you know, incredibly brave of Chang to do it. Jeff, you want to talk about centralized control? Let's talk about the European Union. European Commission said it's time for the charger today. The USBC becomes officially the common standard for charging electronic devices in the eu. It means better charging technology, reduce waste and less fuss. Now they're going to tell you the official charger you have to use. Apple had to get on board and comply and make a usbc, which I honestly don't care. But the whole point of mandating one or the other, it's just dumb to me. And then Valentina Gomez said nobody, Valentina Gomez says nobody gives an F what cable they use to plug their phone in. They do care what type of people get plugged in inside their country though. So she's fantastic. I mean he is so stupid. Yeah. And then you want to hear Eric Trump on. Here's one of Eric Trump's some, some commentary.
D
I believe, I believe in cryptocurrencies. I believe that cryptocurrencies are, are the future. Banking is slow as hell. It's antiquated. It doesn't work. It doesn't make any sense that banks run on nine to five schedules five days a week when cryptocurrency you can, you could trade it in the middle of the night on a, you know, Saturday at 12pm you know, while having dinner with your wife or sitting on the couch, you can trade cryptocurrency. The banks are lethargic. They don't work for everybody. They leave those people behind. They're expensive, they're lethargic, they're not inclusive at all. And I think the modern banking system is changing very quickly. I think it's one of the reasons you see BlackRock spending billions in cryptocurrencies and Fidelity and Schwab and, you know, just about every bank under the sun. It's the future. I mean, why do I have to go all over, you know, Abu Dhabi to try and find ATM if I want to pull out 100 bucks? By the time you pull out the money, you know, you lose 30% on it based on currency exchange rates, plus Feees for the ATM. When, you know, you can literally pop open your wallet, you can send a. A link. It takes you two seconds to do. And you don't have all those problems, you don't have all those structural problems. And so there's no question to me that times 100, right? Blockchain. There's nothing that can be done in banking that can't be done more efficiently using blockchain. And blockchain is changing the world, whether or not people like it or not. And there's a lot of people that see it. The people who are here at this conference, there's a lot of people who, who don't. The people who don't see it are the people who are going to get left behind. And so. So I believe in this technology and, and my family believes in him. My father wants America to be the crypto capital of the world, and I'm happy to support it today.
Chip
Yeah, so I'm kind of cut off, but, yeah. You don't think he's a massive influence on what's going on with, with the father there? I mean, come on, man. How come I can't. I can remove that.
Jeff
You think, you think the unelected bureaucrats are going to continue doing what they're doing? You know, there, there was a court ruling. You remember, there were some issues with Judge Torres, got called out by, by Senator Kennedy saying some things, like some other opinions on stuff probably wouldn't support very much up. But the point is, it was a court decision, all of that. But what we're seeing coming from, you know, Trump and the direction the country is going in from a financial perspective, it's night and day to compare to where we're at right now. And the adoption of cryptocurrency and building blockchain closer into normalcy and mainstream is about to happen because there will be a path to clarity, and. And that's what we need. How many do we have? 26 entries. Make sure you have your. Your badass Zaman wallet ready, because when you drive, connect it. Just connect.
Chip
Chance to type.
Jeff
Be ready. You guys got to be here. Make sure you guys are here. You have to be here. Hopefully everyone's still here that. That registered. If not, we'll have to go again. That's the rule.
Chip
Here we go. Ready? Let's see who's gonna win.
Jeff
Draw away. Draw away.
Chip
Who's it gonna be today? Who is it going to be today? It's going to get a badass yeti. Alan Gregory, are you here? You got to type it. I'm here, and I have got my wallet. I'm here always.
Jeff
It's so close, and it's like, boom.
Chip
You guys missed a little.
Jeff
Alan Gregory. Oh, wait, we got to type it in there. Let's type it in there. Because we realize that some people are way behind. Alan Gregory, are you here?
Chip
Are you here? You.
Jeff
You won. You won.
Chip
Know if you're here.
Jeff
Yes. Yet is if you're not here. Not here. We redraw.
Chip
People got in late. There was 27. Now there's 29. See who got. Who got in late. Uhoh.
Jeff
Crypto late's here. Gregory, we need to hear from you. Gregory, we need to hear from you.
Chip
We need to hear from you. You got to say I'm here. Otherwise, we're redrawing here.
Jeff
Oh, there he is. Look at that. Boom. Alan Gregory is here. That's. That's why we got to type it in there. Because sometimes they're watching. You know what? If I'm listening and I'm behind and I'm. My phone's in my pocket, then you're missing out on the chat. I'm so glad people are engaged with the chat and are, you know, caught up, which is really great. But want to give a quick shout out to crypto Eddie. She does such an amazing job in our space here in the YouTube space and the crypto space. And she's always way ahead of the.
Chip
Game, and she does 25 of our research, so we don't have to. We just talk about it and get drops. That's pretty much how it works, though. She finds the most coolest. I mean, I don't know where she digs stuff up, but she's the Best researcher, hands down, in the space, without even a doubt, not even a doubt. Pulls up the best stuff, stuff that I have to read, go through and carefully look at and that nobody's talking about, which is awesome. So it's gotta love that. So here we go, Ellen. He wins. That's good. Let me take this down. I wanted to play one of, I think, one of Trump's strongest speeches, and it's so funny that it's talking about what Jeff and I were going on about earlier, which is the whole idea of this centralized control on this side versus decentralization over here. Right. This war and why, you know, what we saw with this last administration wanted to control everything. That's what they, they were busted for censoring people on, on social platforms. Right. This whole socialized centralized control versus the decentralization. But this is, I think, one, and it's only an extra. But I think it's one of Trump's strongest speeches. It was something he gave to the. To the. What did he give this to? This was the United nations, if I believe, if I'm correct. But let's. It's a short expert, but let's listen in.
Jeff
Greatest. In the United States Constitution is its first three beautiful words. They are we the people. Generations of Americans have sacrificed to maintain the promise of those words, the promise of our country and of our great history in America. The people govern, the people rule, and the people are sovereign. I was elected not to take power, but to give power to the American people where it belongs. In foreign affairs. We are renewing this founding principle, principle of sovereignty, our government.
Chip
Look at the sour pusses up here.
Jeff
Government's first duty is to its people, to our citizens, to serve their needs, to ensure their safety, to preserve their rights and to defend their values. As President of the United States, I will always put America first, just like you, as the leaders of your countries will always and should always put your countries first.
Chip
There it is.
Jeff
There it is.
Chip
The whole United States that was, was in his first administration.
Jeff
But wait till he comes again.
Chip
Yeah, I think, yeah, I think this time is going to be. There's a mandate. There's a lot more stuff going on. People experience a. Of stuff. It's. It's incredible. So, Jeff, there's a lot of talk in. I wanted to talk a little bit about what's going on with Trump. Talking about Canada annexing Canada, creating it as the 51st state.
Jeff
Canada, Greenland, the Panama Canal. It's great.
Chip
Well, the thing is, there's a provision in the treaty that that if it's. If there's. If it's interfered with or if, like, for example, China's moving in to be able to secure it, make sure it runs properly. There's a provision in there that said the US could always take it back at any time. So people thinking, like, Trump's some kind of a, you know, dictator type of thing. It's like, it's always been in the provision. It's nothing new. But again, a lot of people don't do the research and listen to mainstream media. So there's another problem you have. But I wanted to find. Let me see where this from.
Jeff
Legendary people need to learn about their sovereignty. We're too ignorant to our rights and the infringement of them. That's right.
Chip
Damn, that is well said.
Jeff
Yes.
Chip
Okay, so let's listen in here. I'm gonna put a couple different things on, by the way. So Pierre Trudeau. I'm sorry, Pierre Trude's dad. I just saw some bad things going on about him. But. But Justin Trudeau. Because Pierre Trudeau was Prime Minister back in the 80s and Justin Trudeau has been Prime Minister now. So here we go. This is somebody who ran into Justin Trudeau at a. A ski lodge or, you know, out skiing. Mr. Prime Minister.
Jeff
Yeah.
Chip
Please get the out of B.C.
Jeff
Have a wonderful day, man.
Chip
Yeah, you suck. Please get the F out of British Columbia. She said. I'm like, why not just get out of Canada? Why don't you leave? People have been doing this. He gets called out time and time and time again. Here is. Here's what it would look like if Canada was annexed by the US Somebody put this cool video together.
Jeff
Donald Trump suggested Canada join the US as a state. Here's how that might look. The US territory would span 7.6 million square miles, 13% of Earth's land area, making it the largest country, surpassing Russia's 6.6 million square miles. With vast resources, the nation would have 200 billion barrels of proven oil reserves, abundant timber, minerals, and the world's largest freshwater supply. Its population of 373 million would bring a substantial increase, though it would still lag far behind China and India. Economically, Canada's 2.2 trillion GDP would rank as the fourth largest among US states, behind New York, but ahead of Florida. The total GDP of $28 trillion would solidify America's position as the world's largest economy. However, per capita GDP at 53, $834, the state of Canada would rank near the bottom, just above Mississippi and below Arkansas. Despite its Resource wealth.
Chip
That's incredible.
Jeff
It's unbelievable. All right, here we go. We are getting ready. This is how quick this is. Want to show off technology of the xrpl. We're going to transfer this bad boy over to Alan. What's that?
Chip
Just tell him he has it.
Jeff
Well, it's gonna happen. Ready? Here we go.
Chip
Ready. Another video.
Jeff
It's on its way. It's not moving. What happened?
Chip
See, we don't need it. This is dead air.
Jeff
Weird. It's not even working. Normally it works immediately. It won't even. The button won't.
Chip
There you go. You see? That's why we don't need to talk about it. Here we go.
Jeff
Something's off.
Chip
So this is a Canadian given his.
Jeff
That again.
Chip
Canadian, given his. He's chiming in about, you know, Canada being the next. Here we go.
Jeff
Dear Americans, on behalf of all the.
Chip
Americans who are ready to join the.
Jeff
United States, I do solemnly swear or affirm that I will support and defend.
Chip
The Constitution of the United States against.
Jeff
All enemies, foreign and domestic. That I will bear true faith and.
Chip
Allegiance to the same.
Jeff
That I take this obligation freely, without.
Chip
Any mental reservation or purpose of evasion.
Jeff
And that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of citizenship which I am about to enter, so help me God. Merry Christmas, everyone. Trump just said Merry Christmas as well. And look what he said. He said Governor Justin Trudeau of Canada, whose citizens are taxed too high, but.
Chip
If Canada was to become our 51st.
Jeff
State, their taxes would be cut by more than 60%. Sounds pretty good.
Chip
So, yeah, this is. I mean, the way he's trolling this. I mean, this is more about just highlighting the ineffectiveness of the Prime Minister, really is what all this comes down to, Jeff. I mean, in a nutshell, that's pretty much what's going on here. I mean, it's. It's incredible. But, you know, I always like to play something funny at the end of these.
Jeff
That address isn't working for some reason.
Chip
Yeah, the address is probably wrong. So you got to make sure you got the. Go ahead and make sure.
Jeff
Make sure you have the. Typically, it says, you know, put a valid address in, but it won't even allow me to click the button. Just double check that it's your. It's your receiving address. Yeah, from the zombie wallet.
Chip
Make sure you have the right one.
Jeff
Double check that. That's the right one because it's not letting me.
Chip
Jeff, you know, we had. We just had Christmas that was passed, and, you know, kids always get some interesting fun gifts and these two kids got some gifts. And I was just like blown away by not only their excitement, but what the gifts were. Let's see this one. So the first one. This kid is so excited when he opens up this gift. Watch this.
Jeff
Alan, you don't need to add a trust. You just need to make sure that XRP wallet is. Or the Zama wallet set up doing this. But one XRP in there doing this. One xrp, right? One xrp.
Chip
It's two xrp.
Jeff
I think whatever it is, you just got to set up, make sure the wallet is active, the Zaman wallet is active. As long as it's active, then we're good to go.
Chip
Yeah, because it's just.
Jeff
Especially if you go to XRP Cafe, try to connect the wallet. You can double check it and make it. Sure.
Chip
Holds it and deep sixes it into the ground.
Jeff
Is that what happens to it?
Chip
It destroys the flow. Anyway, here's this kid, he's getting a gift, doing all this other stuff. You're not listening to the show. That's the whole thing. It's like when you're worried about the transaction. Nobody cares. You do it all.
Jeff
Everybody cares about it.
Chip
Kill the show for it.
Jeff
We just showing the XRP the transaction.
Chip
Person here doesn't know what happens in four to five seconds. There's nobody on the earth that doesn't know that.
Jeff
Oh, yeah? How long does it take?
Chip
Except for Charlie Gasparino. He doesn't know exactly.
Jeff
Maybe he's walking right now.
Chip
You could tell him how to do it. He doesn't know what it is yet. He is not 100 sure what it is. Ranch dressing. The kids ecstatic. Jeff dressing. Ranch dress.
Jeff
You've got to love it.
Chip
This girl gets a gift and my God, is she lit up about this gift. Favorite present. What is it? Another clip. She throws it up and it hits her on the head. She laughs and she runs around. I mean, what's wrong with these parents? Give him ranch dressing and broccoli.
Jeff
Yeah, I don't know.
Chip
Caroline wants to. Wants to know if Australia can please be next. Can you imagine Australia joining the fold? That'd be great, man. That would be sweet.
Jeff
All right. Still not working. I don't know why it's not working.
Chip
Because it's the wrong address.
Jeff
That could be. Or it would be the receiving address. Has to be the receiving address.
Chip
Yeah, Go in there and copy your receiving address. Otherwise we're going to double check.
Jeff
Just double check. It's the receiving address, not the sending. Let's double check.
Chip
I'll give it to somebody else. I have to take it offline and do it some other time. Madam, I don't know what else we're going to do. Yes. Mm.
Jeff
I don't know why these are. Should be seamless. Open it up in a new tab. What else we got here?
Chip
I got Byron Donald's talking about Trump being president on this panel.
Jeff
No, we're not heard much from the Democrats. They're too busy licking their wounds and trying to figure out which way they need to conduct their party. But look, are they happy about the fact that Kamala Harris was blown out? No, they're not. But is anybody thinking that they're going to do anything about it? No, they're not. Donald Trump's going to be the President of the United States. He's going to get these elections certified on January 6th. He's going to get inaugurated on January 20th. The Democrats aren't going to like it, but those are the brakes because they had an opportunity to run this country and what they did was they ran it into the ground. Massively. Open borders, foreign policy, that's a mess. Massive inflation, censoring the American people. The list goes on and on. The American people rejected what the radical left was doing and gave Donald Trump a political mandate. So whether it's Jamie Raskin or any of the Democrats that are going to be upset on January 6, you only have yourself to blame. You did a terrible job. The American people want to change and change is coming in the form of Donald Trump.
Chip
Damn. Byron Donalds should have been the VP chick. That's just my personal opinion says they should.
Jeff
It's a valid address.
Chip
What I like about Byron Donald's. He got, he has some. He's got, you know, enthusiasm. He's got the mega message down and he delivers it with a hammer, man. It's freaking awesome. Love, love that. Yeah. Byron is a G for sure man. No doubt about it. He's the best man.
Jeff
Let's try this other guy.
Chip
There's talk about Byron Donald's being Speaker of the House. I think you'd make a great speaker. I mean, even Viveka, you could bring him in a speaker. It doesn't have to be someone part of Congress. You know, he would, he would lay it down. But yeah, I mean, he's a guy that's not compromised, right? The guy, you can't. He's. He's his own man. He's not, he's not compromised and blackmailed like everyone else. So that's exactly what the. Yeah, see, right there. You got, we got. Miz even says Donald should have been vp, you know, and I. It's nothing about jd, Vance. I mean, JD is great. He's phenomenal in interviews. He just doesn't have that, you know, he doesn't have that, that it factor. He's just very laid back. I recently, over the holiday, I watched Hillbilly Effigy, which is kind of JD's you know, life story. And it's very inspiring to, to actually see that. I don't know if you guys. He wrote a book called Hillbilly Effigy and the movie came out, I think 2020 or 2021. It's an entertaining movie, it's a good watch. But it's, it's basically JD and overcoming like the kind of, you know, crappy child that he came from. He wasn't destined to do anything but live in a, you know, live in poverty and under, you know, become a drug addict. I mean, that was pretty much, you know, and it's when you see his mom who's a, who's. Who's a horrible drug addict and can't. And the whole family's got some issues. You know, you watch a guy to overcome all that. I think it's incredibly inspiring, you know, and it was funny because I shared my wife after the movie, I'm like, you know, you know who that is? And she's like, no, that's based on a true story. And I go, the who is that? She says, who is it? I said, that's Trump's, you know, running me, the VP. She's like, oh, that. Okay, J.D. vance, I get it. You know, she didn't connect it in the movie, but they call him jd. They call him advanced family. It's a great thing. And I, like, I have a lot of respect for jd. I just think that Byron Donalds is just, you know, just got more. He's got more, I don't know, I think passion. He's got that cult of personality that I think sometimes is missing. You know, Trump has it. You know, I think Donald's has it too. So I'd love to see him make a run for president because, you know, for the next time, I mean, maybe it's. JD is a shoe in if they have a primary, but he's, he's a rising star for sure in the, in the Republican Party. And I've just seen him destroy anybody he comes in contact with. He goes on CNN and they, they got nothing on him. He just, he crushes them with facts. He brings it up. He's never at a loss for words. He's very much like jd, where JD Also does very incredibly. Really well read, researched, and so it's good. So there you have it. There you have it. I think that's all we have. Jeff, you're looking very perturbed because this is.
Jeff
Figure this thing out. It's not working.
Chip
Well, it doesn't have to work because you know why Justin called it right there? It's called Redraw.
Jeff
I don't know. Get it to work. Just do it offline. Send us a DM. Just let us know where you're DMing us from. Send it via Twitter. Tell us right now what your Twitter handle is. We're gonna have to redraw beyond Twitter. Do the redrawn. We'll deal with Alan on the back end. That way you can give one away here, and Alan will keep working towards.
Chip
Let's go. Here we go.
Jeff
Redraw. So we can get one going. Alan will keep doing this on the back end. Send us a invite to. On the chain. Just let us know what Twitter or what X. You're sending it from your X handle there.
Chip
We know it's you. Otherwise, anybody can just say, hey, this is. It's. You know, it's Alan Gregory from the.
Jeff
Show listed here already. So get that set up, and then we'll get it going.
Chip
Let's go. Redraw, guys. All right, Here he goes. 30 entries in here. That's four more since last time. Ready? One, two, three. Let's go. Boom. Who's it gonna be? Who is it gonna be? Who? I say who? Who? Who? Horton, here's a who. Hakan Malin wins.
Jeff
Type it in.
Chip
Make sure you hear, hello, hello, hello, hello.
Jeff
Make sure you type it in.
Chip
Say, I'm here. I've got my wallet ready. Otherwise, we're redrawn. I need to hear feature. I'll type it in there.
Jeff
This is the one we're giving away. Check this guy out. This guy. Badass, man. This is a bandit. Look at this bandit. Hang on. If he's here, that'd be awesome. But check out that bandit. This is the bandit right now. And then, Alan, make sure you put your Twitter handle in here so we can get that going. So we know. But Hakan Maland1, if you're here, say you're here. If you're not here, then got to do another redraw.
Chip
Unless you're here and you have a Zaman wallet or we have to redo.
Jeff
Are you choosing winners? Man, it just Automated. So people type in yeti. If he's not here, we're going to do a redraw. So if you type in yeti, we'll do. You'll enter into the back end system that's going through Streamyard. So Streamyard actually handles it through their software. And so you'll. You'll see it in one second. But this guy's badass. I love this bandit. And look at the detail of his sword. Look at that detail and the etchings.
Chip
Yeah, Cool. Little utility belt there. He's got some little. Some rope dangling there. He's got the. Got the half gloves on. Well, look at that face for punching. Yeah, man. So if you typed in Yeti once, so we have 31 entries. So it'll only take it one. So if you've already typed it in anytime during the show, then you don't have to worry about it again. So that's it.
Jeff
All right. We're gonna have to do another redraw real quick because Hakan is not here.
Chip
Yep. We gave him some time. You got to be quick on the draw. You have to be here. I hate to say it.
Jeff
That's really badass.
Chip
Why do you hate. You don't need to hate to say that. That's. That's awesome. Yeah. All right, so let's go. We're gonna draw again. Here we go. Ready? 32 entries in. Let's go.
Jeff
There you go. Ready, go.
Chip
Who's it gonna be in this? Who? I say, who is it gonna be? Jim Dim D is a frequent winner around here. Jim dc.
Jeff
Jim D. Jim D's got to be here. Look at that. Look at that chip.
Chip
Tim, do you hear him in?
Jeff
In a little while. Come on, let's go. Jim D. It's so funny.
Chip
People that are like here and typing in yeti, like they're not the winners. Oh, my. He says, oh, my. So he's here. Jim D. Your wallet address.
Jeff
Jim D. Jim D. There you go.
Chip
And Jim D. OG Jim D. OG Brads.
Jeff
Jim D. Congratulations.
Chip
We don't do anything. All we do is grab it, you know? See, that's what I like.
Jeff
Let's see.
Chip
Look at that. That's a. Look at that badass right there.
Jeff
Jim D's got that guy. That's so sweet.
Chip
All right, well, that's it. We got to get out of here. It's almost an hour, hour and 40 minutes into it's address from last time. I always plug it into the spreadsheet right there. Yeah, you have it. Right?
Jeff
Got it. So Hang on. Let's make sure.
Chip
That'S the first trading here. Some yeti trading going on here.
Jeff
There we go. It works. It's on its way. Jim D, gonna transfer this badass yeti over to you in two. There we go. In three, two, one. There you go. It's on its way. Scan you should have it. It's verifying, verifying, verifying.
Chip
Gone you Mike and for showing up. A long one today, but it's a good one.
Jeff
Badass Yeti's bandit. Why try badass Yeti's bandit right there, Jim. Jim D. There you go.
Chip
A little bit. Let's just look at that masterpiece again. Look at that, man.
Jeff
See that? See that detail? Detail is amazing. Amazing.
Chip
I want to remind everybody that we did alter the price. So if you are interested in picking up a badass yeti, if you go to XRP Cafe, the blue tribe is now 16 xrp and the white tribe is 12 xrp. So there you go. There you go. It's a limited time only, so if you guys are interested in picking one up, you can go mint one over there. You got to click the mint button, connect your wallet. But if you guys already want them, you kind of already know. He kind of got that down. But again, go check out. And it's like a blind purchase, so you don't know what you're going to get. It's kind of a fun thing. You click the mint button and you're gonna get a random one and boom. It's like those blind collectibles when they're in the little silver bags. You open them up and you see what you get. So it's kind of cool. But again, limited time.
Jeff
Only time. Look at that. Thanks for the show, guys. Always look forward to Saturday mornings. Thank you, Scott. And then Caroline loves the elders. Elders are kick ass.
Chip
There's only seven of them and I think. I think there's still one or two available. I think a bunch of them have been chosen already. We know that one of the OGs that usually tunes in at this time, but it's a little bit early for him on the west coast, but he's got a. He's got an elder and I know he's. He's tried to buy some other elders too, and nobody was. They're like, we're not selling our elder man. And Jeff and I have zero hours. So they're all out there. We don't have any. We're holding back or anything. So none is our 7, 700 and 701 podcast. We've done 700. We forgot to celebrate 700, but it's just 701. And that's all we have, guys. Go. We'll see you guys again tomorrow night. We're coming up on the new year. We're coming up on season five, which would be entering our fifth year before doing the. The on the chain podcast. There you go.
Jeff
Oh, that's great. Five years.
Chip
Chip has a seizure from that.
Jeff
Give us some confetti. Give us some Chip confetti.
Chip
Come on, let's go. Peace sign. There we go. Drop it, drop it, drop it. Peace sign. Let's give some thunderous. There we go. Boom. Yeah, right? And then let's do this for the audience here. Let's give a little bit of love. Give some hearts for the audience there.
Jeff
So are the elders all around them? Everything. You know, we. We did, and we were able to. To get some for giveaways like this, which is awesome. Zero elders came up. So that's. That's the thing. It's amazing.
Chip
We don't have any elders, man. They're all. They're part of the men. So I. There's one or two left, I think, for the elders. But if you do guys happen to get one, definitely proudly display it. And of course, we want you to, you know, post it over there. If you go ahead and pick up one, you know, tag. Tag the badass Yetis and on. On. On X. Also tag both of us as well, which is good.
Jeff
Out to us on X so that we can connect. We're hoping to see your X address here. If not, you know, come. Come on to the next show. We got your bad boy right here, so we got it.
Chip
I just got to work that out. But we'll, you know, we'll work it out for the next one.
Jeff
Can't. Dm. That's crazy.
Chip
Getting a request. We're getting a request here.
Jeff
Our dean. All right, so. So let's send a. If you want to. You can't reach out via dm. That's so crazy. Email. Go up tomorrow night. Just make sure it works. You know, I tried. Didn't work. Wasn't transferring. So there it. I think there's two extra letters in there that don't seem to be working. That's why. Even though. Just double check. Double check. Yeah, he copied it from his side.
Chip
Caroline. Peace out. Ain't gonna twerk. Nope. And no twerking. All right, that's it, guys. We're out of here. We will see you guys on the next one. Chipping Jeff. Oh, you guys.
Jeff

In this episode, Jeff and co-host Chip delve into the significant rollout of Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin across major cryptocurrency exchanges. Initially limited in availability, RLUSD has rapidly expanded its presence, signaling increased adoption and integration within the crypto ecosystem.
Jeff [03:17]: "It's a really cool example of it. Obviously Chip, as we move forward, there's a lot of technology out there yet to be adopted and adapted to modern day in terms of what can be done..."
The hosts highlight Bullish Digital Asset Exchange in Gibraltar as a notable platform now supporting RLUSD, emphasizing its regulated environment and robust financial safeguards, including independent audits by Deloitte.
Chip [04:58]: "It's regulated audit. Audited client. This safeguarding your assets. Robust custody. Independently audited by Deloitte. There you go. It's good to know."
2. XRP Price Movements and Market Reactions
Despite the positive news surrounding RLUSD, the podcast discusses the paradoxical decline in XRP's price following the stablecoin's launch. The hosts explore possible reasons, including profit-taking among investors and limited RLUSD supply.
Jeff [07:28]: "But the exact opposite happens. Anytime there's good news in the XRP region, price point goes down."
Chip counters this by suggesting a delayed market response, anticipating a significant price increase over the coming year as adoption grows.
Chip [08:42]: "But we're not going to see it immediately. And plus there's not a, there's not a huge supply right now either."
3. Tether's Strategic Investment in Rumble
A major highlight is Tether's substantial $775 million investment in Rumble, a digital asset company. This move not only boosts Rumble's financial standing but also signifies Tether's confidence in the platform's growth potential.
Chip [16:07]: "So the digital asset company, tether made a 775 million dollar strategic investment disclosed by Rumble. After the announcement, Rumble stock was up 76%, trading at 12 to represent investor excitement."
The investment allows Rumble to deploy $250 million towards enhancing its financials and driving growth objectives, though the hosts express concerns about Rumble's current technological shortcomings.
Chip [17:20]: "But I like the name and I love the URL. Bullish. I'm not endorsing it at all."
4. Community Engagement: NFT Giveaways
To foster community engagement, Jeff and Chip announce giveaways of their exclusive "Badass Yetis" NFTs. These unique digital collectibles are part of their ongoing efforts to integrate utility within the XRP Ledger, encouraging listeners to participate actively.
Jeff [25:38]: "Check this guy out. Chip, you see the detail on this guy."
The hosts walk listeners through the process of minting and receiving these NFTs, highlighting their limited availability and the excitement surrounding their distribution.
Chip [31:28]: "We are starting to see these. These guys move. And the white tribe will be 12 XRP. So this here's the blue tribe right here."
5. Regulatory Challenges: SEC, IRS, Ripple's Legal Battle
A substantial portion of the discussion focuses on the ongoing regulatory struggles faced by Ripple and the broader crypto industry. The hosts critique the SEC and IRS for their stringent and often unclear regulations, arguing that these actions stifle innovation and push development offshore.
Jeff [56:48]: "The issue is, that they let them get away with it for so long and they remain unchecked by the U.S. Congress..."
Chip echoes these sentiments, highlighting the lawsuit filed by the Blockchain Association against the IRS's broker rulemaking, which they argue violates the Administrative Procedure Act and is unconstitutional.
Chip [75:26]: "They bought at a predetermined price. There's that bit of it."
6. Political Commentary and Crypto's Future
Jeff and Chip also venture into political discourse, discussing former President Trump's perspectives on cryptocurrencies and his proposed policies aimed at decentralizing control from unelected bureaucrats. They express optimism that a pro-crypto administration could pave the way for clearer regulations and broader adoption.
Jeff [71:30]: "The American people want to change and change is coming in the form of Donald Trump."
The hosts touch upon speculative topics, such as Trump's remarks on annexing Canada as the 51st U.S. state, using it as a metaphor for rejecting centralized control in favor of decentralized systems like blockchain.
Chip [76:43]: "He's got to be bald though. He has to be a bald..."
7. Technical Innovations and XRP Ledger Utilities
Exploring the technical side, the podcast highlights the evolving utilities of the XRP Ledger (XRPL), particularly through the issuance of stablecoins like RLUSD and the integration of NFTs. Jeff imagines future applications such as fractional real estate ownership represented by NFTs, showcasing the versatility and potential of the blockchain.
Jeff [26:55]: "If you think about like what does the XRPL mean? How does it, how do you impact and interact with it other than going on an exchange and buying some asset?"
