Jeff
Hey, most people still believe that XRP is just another crypto asset. Meanwhile, the financial system is quietly starting to integrate blockchain infrastructure right in front of everyone. This is where it gets interesting and this is actually where RLUSD is actually gaining traction. CME is expanding, expanding into XRP products. The Fed is where interesting but the Fed is actually discussing payment access frameworks. I tripping up over that because I don't even know if that is really the case. I mean do we really want the Fed to start accessing these pain and putting together these payment frameworks?
Chip
Oh no, it's the other way around.
Jeff
They're accessing the accounts that is discussing payment access frame. Yeah, it's the whole thing with the the Fed. But while Ripple is actually preparing the XRP ledger for a post quantum future, tonight's going to be kind of a crazy night. That's not normal crypto behavior anymore. I think across the board, Chip I Tonight is going to be a crazy show.
Chip
Always is, Jeff.
Jeff
It always is where everything is going here. I'm looking, I'm thinking about the direction that we got to go and talk about all these different aspects.
Chip
But yeah, you have these people that are like looking at, look at the price candles589 meanwhile institutions are building this massive infrastructure and so actually when you start like folding in the stable coins, tokenized assets, think about AI driven finance. You've got liquidity, routing, settlement trails and you start realizing XRP may already be entering this different phase of the financial system. This really changes the conversation completely. So tonight, as we always do on the chain, we're going to connect all the dots and most people still don't see. You ready for this, Jeff?
Jeff
I'm ready.
Chip
Let's go, let's go, let's go. Welcome to on the Chain.
Jeff
Welcome to on the Chain. This is Jeff here with co host Chip. What is going on, Chip?
Chip
Well, same thing that's always going on, Jeff. I mean, what's going on? Bigger question is what's going on? OTC family, where you guys coming in from? Drop it in the chat.
Jeff
Drop it like it's hot. Give a quick shout out where you're tuning in from. Tonight's show is a big one. Why? Because this isn't just another XRP hype cycle conversation. I know that's what you were expecting because that's all we do over here is XRP hype conversation. This is actually going to be about infrastructure, about institutional finance quietly evolving actually in real time, which is going to be pretty cool. I like to see where we're going with this. Ripple back on CNBC's Disruptor 50 list. RLUSD gaining momentum and the CME keeps expanding XRP futures and option products which is also another great thing to see some progress over there. The Federal Reserve is now discussing broader payment access frameworks for fintech and crypto related firms. There you go. I don't, I, I'll believe it when we see it. They're discussing it. Let's see some progress there. And this is where all the dart dots starts, all the darts. I'm tripping over my words tonight because when you actually combine stable coins, tokenized assets, AI financial systems, cross border settlement liquidity infrastructure and modern payment rails, that was a lot. All at once you actually start to realize the financial system may already be shifting towards blockchain integration a lot faster than people are expecting, but maybe faster than people can actually understand. I don't know, might be bypassing people right now.
Chip
Yeah. And you know, tonight we're basically going to dive into what changes the XRP conversation completely. And so stay with us because this is a much bigger picture than most people realize. And we also have a new Fed chair and I think things will go swimmingly well over at the Fed. A little bit different than what we've seen I guess in previous with the previous Debbie Downer, you know, Powell for for instance. So let's kick it off tonight. Let's jump into. So this is Jack McDonald with Ripple and he's talking about stable coins here. Let's listen to this.
Jeff
West Tennessee, here we go.
Chip
Check it out.
Jeff
He's seeing now more institutions paying attention to stablecoins and if so, why absolutely,
Jack McDonald
yes, paying more attention. If you look at my dance card in the last, you know, 72 hours or 48 hours and in the next 24, it's primarily household name institutions who are here at consensus looking, you know, to learn. But in general, our sales team is in active dialogue with basically every major institution out there.
Chip
Listen to that Jeff. So this is like you kind of think this is going on and so think of the conversation. Basically every major financial institution, the sales team's already in talking. So you're like, okay, so you realize how important this clarity act really is. They just don't seem like they're pulling the trigger.
Jeff
No, it's a little bit sluggish.
Chip
So this is interesting. I love that we dropped that little like oh, by the way, we're talking to every major financial institution, you know, hint, hint, wink, wink. Right.
Jack McDonald
You're almost noticeable in your absence, if you're a big bank or a big brokerage firm, if you haven't talked about leaning into the digital asset ecosystem and beginning your journey and folks are at different points in that trajectory, I think stablecoins specifically represent a, a first real use case that seems to be undeniable because of the way that it's treated. As the name implies, it doesn't have the volatility of a traditional cryptocurrency. It shares obviously the blockchain infrastructure to it. But all stable coins are not equal. But, but I'll say if they're done the way RL USD is, it's a dollar equivalent. And so if you have the stability coupled with the sort of partners we have, the structure, the regulatory status, and then further, if you have it strengthened by the recent Genius act that came out and what appears to be, you know, more likely than not Clarity act, you've got some regulatory tailwinds and support behind you. And I think that's been really the tipping point where a lot of these institutions who have said, okay, the water's safe and we can come in now, we, we see the infrastructure, we see the utility around speeding up settlement, for example, and lowering fees for FX conversions, cross border sort of payments. But now if you can also tell me that the government has codified the use into law, you know, what, what other obstacles would exist. And so I think that's why you're seeing a lot more institutional adoption happening now than ever before.
Chip
Wow. What do you think about that, Jeff?
Jeff
It's putting us in a position that we've been talking about for a long time, that it's moving towards institutional adoption. That's what's going to open the door to, you know, bigger gains in the crypto space becoming more of a norm in the household name. Maybe behind the scenes, not in front of the scenes, but is this is the moment getting involved, more institutions seeing the value going after. You know, one of the things that you mentioned with the stable coin, because there's less volatility, one of the big stumbling blocks, or one of the bigger blockades so to speak, for big institutions getting involved with crypto as a day to day would be volatility from an investment vehicle. And that's why we see the ETFs, you know, for a long term gain and leveraging people's appetite for risk. Well, there you go. Let's do an etf, Bitcoin etf, let's do an XRP etf, let's do a Solana etf and there's so much focus on getting Main street adoption through the ETF because maybe there's a perception that it's, that it's less risky. Because you know, you always have to ask the one most imperative question, especially when you're analyzing finance. And this is it right here.
Chip
Is it risky? I had it queued up. I was ready, I was gonna play it at the end. I mean totally, totally got it on. It's risky. Yeah, it's. Is it risky? That's the thing. Everything's risky.
Jeff
It's a risk. Everything's funny.
Chip
How we've made AI versions of our sound bites from other things to the point of where, I don't know, they make sense. Any margaritas? The guys like. Then they start cheering, you know, margaritas, Margaritas. Where's the margaritas one?
Jeff
We're definitely moving into, into a unique position here. It's right there. Do you find it?
Chip
No. There it is, There it is. Geez, it's a lot of margaritas. Risky. Risky. Is it risky? Is it risky? That's the dope from cnbc. Speaking of cnbc, check this out, guys, this is important. Wanted to go back to the original story. Look at the CNBC, the 2026 CNBC Disruptor 50s here. So what they do is they do an annual ranking what the most promising venture backed companies. Funny thing is they're kind of venture backed. Innovating across industries, experimenting with AI and increasingly making it work at scale. So here's the, you know, the full list. We'll look at the list in a little bit. Monica Long said she's proud to see Ripple return because I haven't been on there for a bit with the CNBC's Disruptor 50 and ranked at number 16 out of 50. Not bad. This past year was a defining one for our industry and a real turning point for Ripple. New money is here to stay. I like the sound of that. Then Ripple posted this. Ripple number 16 on the CNBC Disruptors 50 represents the role crypto infrastructure plays in bridging blockchain into real world finance. The infrastructure is here. So if you take Monica Long's new money, New money here to stay and you couple it with the infrastructure Era is here to stay. We just opened up talking all about infrastructure. Those are two action packed things which at some point will spell price increase. It's bound to happen, guys. It's going to happen. It's on its own timetable. Not on the, not on the, not on the moon, boys. Fan table. And here it is right Here, Jeff. So I was like, okay, so let's take a look. Who is on this list. Cool graphic. You know, big change at the top. Anthropic is number one. Karpathy just went to Anthropic, Shocked everybody. But he just took a job over there at Anthropic. You know, Jeff and I, we're huge Anthropic fans, huge Claude fans. Who's Claude? Code, cowork, the whole suite, coding stuff, having a blast doing it. And you don't have to be a program anymore. It's phenomenal. So Anthropic is the alt is the number one. Right here. Let's look at the new number one. Okay, then you got a open AI, which is less chat, more work. You got data bricks, another big AI, you know, enterprise level type, the Andrel. That's defense. You got ramp, which is simplicity. It basically rolls. It's a. It's a fine. It's a fintech. But it basically helps companies keep track of all their money. And the people in the, in the, in the zoo that have all the credit cards. Sierra Customer Service got Mistral AI. So we're three AI companies. Well, four if you count data bricks in the top 10 whatnot. Retail therapy got Sierra, you got Notion, another big one. I was surprised Notion was so high. Why would you put Notion above Ripple? Notion to me is not. Doesn't have the legs that Ripple has. Right?
Jeff
Yeah, but they're making some big strides.
Chip
They're doing some good stuff. I mean, the AI agents that we use, Jeff, that's by the CEO of Notion. So yeah, rippling AI, human resources, TransCarent. So you can see AI is dominating this list so far. Yeah. Metropolis, Aura, Cognite, and then there's Ripple. And how do they. What do they define it as, Jeff?
Jeff
New money.
Chip
New money. How about that, huh?
Jeff
Is the new money. Oh, a plastics pac, man, that's cool.
Chip
Samsara. Wait, what? Say what?
Jeff
Sam. Sarah Eco.
Chip
Samcera. Eco Plastics Pack. I don't know what that is.
Jeff
You know what excites me more than. Than all this? People have been bringing back the Commodore 64. That's exciting. That's news.
Chip
Not for me. Wouldn't touch it if you paid me to. Applied Intuition. Carbon Robotics. So cure. The truth is out there. What is this episode of?
Jeff
I don't even know what some of this stuff is.
Chip
You get into it Harvey and other Harvey is Harvey's up and coming.
Jeff
That's.
Chip
That's AI for the legal.
Jeff
Space armada is big armada.
Chip
Yeah, Data centers and stuff Wabi Island. Revolut. There's a. Well, they. Oh.
Jeff
Revolution.
Chip
The first crypto company. Okay, not an exchange, but the first crypto company. Ripple's the only one on this list. Perplexity. There you go. AI Again. Open evidence. Iambic. Luma. AI. Another big one. Cursor. That's Vibe coding. Lovable. Another Vibe coder. Glean. That's ex Ripplers. Or I'm sorry, not Ripplers, but Googlers. Ex Googlers that started this company called Glean. My last company I was at was a big comp competitor of ours, but we always. I always won against them because they were too new. Replit. Kalshi. You know, if you notice, polls are going away. Kali seems to be the definitive place to learn who's doing what, because they're almost spot on every single time. Because I think they gauge sentiment of what's happening. Look at. Whoop. Health data. Runway. Another A.I. generative. A.I. you got abnormal A.I. vanta. Polymarket. Shield. A.I. an app truck. Robots ready for work. It's a great list. And it's mostly dominated by AI Man, a lot of.
Jeff
Yeah, well, AI is. AI is the talk of the town right now. So if it's AI Anything, it's going to be. It's going to be impressive. Even if it's not.
Chip
This is Coindesk saying the Ripple is the only crypto firm. I mean, if you Revolut's more of like an exchange, I wouldn't call it a crypto firm.
Jeff
Right. Yeah.
Chip
Think about that, Jeff. Out of everyone talking about how great they are, Ripple's the only one on this list.
Jeff
And they were. There were what? Number 16. They're in the top 16.
Chip
Yeah, but I'm surprised. Notion was ahead of it. I don't know what this logo means. I see it's a p and an 11, but it's really. You really got a strain. Hard to see. That's Project 11. That's I guess a P and I guess 11, but it's a rough one. But Project 11. Check this out. There's progress on post quantum migration marches forward. We're announcing our collaboration with Ripple to advance post quantum readiness on the XRP ledger ahead of emerging quantum computing threats. Full announcement below. This is cool, Jeff. All right. Being totally thinking about where you're going to be in the future.
Jeff
You got to think about it, though. Got to think about the quantum era. Who's going to be hacked or. Or hackable. Making sure you're protecting your interests.
Chip
Yeah, and this is a good quote, too. Finally, a Good one. The quantum threat isn't hypothetical. It's an engineering challenge with a clear timeline. What puts XRPL in a strong position is we're not starting from scratch. We already have core capabilities like key rotation and validator network that can coordinate upgrades at scale. Working with Project 11 helps us move faster and more rigorously as we test and implement post quantum approaches across the stack. The goal is to be production ready well before we need to be not reacting when quantum day Q days are calling Q day arise, said Jio, head of engineering at Ripple who David.
Jeff
Right around the corner though, stuff is happening at such a rapid.
Chip
They're making these huge advancements and AI. So I kind of wonder about where it's.
Jeff
Can't slow it down. It's happening way too fast. AI, the conversations that I'm sure you're having every day, you know, logging into cloud, it's insane, this stuff and I'm just, I'm just amazed at the feedback and you know, the, the. What shocked me today is that we were going through code, couldn't figure out where the error was and it kept changing. Claude code kept changing something.
Chip
Joe Buddy's in Florida, right, right around the corner from here.
Jeff
Yeah, I see that.
Chip
Damn.
Jeff
I put it into live chat. I'm like, you know, let's figure out. Keep deep dive until you figure out. He goes, okay, I figured it out. I said, are you 100 sure you know what Claude's chat response was? I can't be absolutely sure that what we're doing is actually going to fix the problem and not make it worse. And I'm like, are you serious? That's your response? That's AI's response. You've got all the data, you've done all the deep diving data.
Chip
You think AI is going to take over the world and not tell you about it?
Jeff
I think it's right around the corner, honestly.
Chip
Take this story here, take this one.
Jeff
I felt like I was working with an employee that wasn't trained between the two of them with Claude code messing everything up every two seconds. Then I got into into chat GPT and was the same type of. It was bizarre bizarro world today. So here we go. CME group. Got to pay attention to this right now. If you learn anything from today's rant, it's going to be this. The CME Group, one year of XRP futures. They got this posted. Where is this? Over on X. Yep. So CME group over on X, one year of XRP futures from becoming the industry leader in Open interest to launching XRP options and, and spot quoted XRP futures. Our momentum is undeniable. See what's driving growth behind one of crypto's most dynamic assets. Look at that. And they're talking about xrp, man. Once you get into, into futures and option trading and all of that, I mean that it's already your little nerve wracking get into stocks, option trading and now you're going to do, you know, spot trading on or and future. The whole thing is just, it's mind boggling to me that you get into, you know, options and futures and everything with, with crypto. Mind boggling?
Chip
Yeah. It really isn't. And so people that don't know the CME Group, they're basically the leading, I would say like, well, probably the largest derivatives marketplace. And another, some other Fun tidbits about CMA Group. They do $6.76 billion in trailing twelve rev. 12 month revenue. So for 2025 the financial derivatives giant reported an annual revenue of 6.52 billion. Their quarterly performance in the first quarter of 2026 was almost $2 billion. $1.9 billion. So it's like it's not some CCME Group is massive and you know. Yeah, they're, it's, it's a huge group. I think they're, they're based out of Chicago if I'm not mistaken. If I'm not mistaken. Of course I could be. Where are they based? I don't know. I didn't, I didn't do that.
Jeff
But here they are right here.
Chip
Cryptocurrency. Right there on the, on the home page.
Jeff
That's it. You can get BTC eth, Chicago. It would be clickable. But they're not.
Chip
Until they move to Miami. Jeff. Maybe they'll move to Miami.
Jeff
Micro Bitcoin features. I got some futures.
Chip
Micro XRP or not.
Jeff
I think I might have got, I think I got some CMA xrp.
Chip
There you go, sir. You go.
Donald Trump
Yes.
Chip
Mark Smithson said he watched Kathy Wood with Charles Payne and Fox Business. He has a live crypto panel going now. Chip and Jeff need to be on the panel. We're never gonna be on that panel, but I love the thought.
Jeff
It should be on that panel. You should bring us on that for sure.
Chip
That'd be fantastic.
Jeff
It's officially in.
Chip
Check this out. So this was listed by Coinbase. President Trump signs an executive order directing the Federal Reserve to review crypto and fintech firms access the payment accounts and services, ordering regulators to identify and remove barriers to entry within Three months. So they're cranking this up. They're not waiting. Here it is right here. Integrating to financial. There it is, right here, the executive orders, Section one. I mean, this is all about being the leader in Finn, in, in, in crypto.
Jeff
Global leader.
Chip
Yeah, refers to non bank companies. Fintech is non bank develops. This must piss the banks off too, because they're moving into banking territory. Because I remember Ripple applied for this. I don't think we heard back if they were going to get it. But basically what they're trying to do is streamline this because you remember, what was her name? Caitlyn Long? Was it that she couldn't get the. She applied for one of those accounts and she got denied by the Federal Reserve.
Jeff
That's right. Well, that was a previous Federal Reserve.
Chip
Well, of course it was the previous one.
Jeff
I don't.
Chip
I think she'll probably. And Ellie Terra put this out today. You know, there was a skinny man. It's a Skinny Master account. So. And she said just then they issued requests for comment and notices of proposed rulemaking for payment accounts, also known as the skinny master accounts, that would allow eligible fintech and crypto firms to gain access to the Fed's payment system for clearing and settlement purposes. Huh. How about that? Boom. Access. It marks the next formal step in Governor Waller's payment account implementation process following the public's comment period on the proposal itself to close in February. Notably, Fed's also encouraging Federal Reserve banks to temporarily pause decisions on new tier 3 master accounts access request no later. Until December 26th, most crypto firms are considered tier 3. While it finalizes the framework in an effort, it says, to create more consistency across the system. And boom, just like that, we've got some movement. I think this is a very good thing. And I think it's. I think it's going to streamline a lot because especially when you come to settlement, you know, in a weird way, it's going to compete against banks. But if the banks are smart, they'll move right into crypto. They can already custody it. They can make a huge business play for their. And, you know, and offer their own products if they want. But you just like go into your bank and say, yeah, I want to buy XRP, I want to be Bitcoin, I want to take 20 on my bank account a week and purchase Bitcoin or xrp, you know, and it'll just be with the bank and you'll, you know, the next move is FDIC insuring this. That's the big one. CoinDesk latest South Carolina enacts a pro crypto law banning state taxes on crypto payments, protecting self custody rights and prohibiting state agencies from accepting or testing CBDCs.
Jeff
Wow.
Chip
This needs to happen everywhere.
Jeff
So much going on.
Chip
Yeah. Banning taxes on crypto payments Jeff. So if you make a pay was I mean if you make a payment with crypto you don't pay tax.
Jeff
That's how it should be. You know I mean of course. So go back up. This is a little bit was introduced at the beginning of last year. South Carolina enacts a pro crypto law, enacts a pro crypto law banning state taxes on crypto payments, protecting self custody rights and prohibiting state agencies from accepting or testing central bank digital currencies. Now this was introduced a year ago so and now they're finally rolling it out so they're enacting the law that
Chip
makes a lot of sense and I guess it's the right regulatory crypto payments.
Jeff
That's I mean that's got to be what it is. But they're talking about so it makes, it makes sense. If you're going to use Bitcoin to go purchase a good then you're not paying. It's not a taxable event. Is based on what we have to read a little bit into it. I mean not it's on its face. That's what it's talking about. It says right there right in the beginning.
Chip
Yeah. Bill establishes various requirements protections for individuals businesses engaging in digital asset mining including Public Service Commission and digital asset mining from the money transmitter license requirement under current law. But states nothing but states that nothing may prevent the attorney general's office from instituting accent action against allegedly fraud and everything else. It's a, it's a step in the right direction. I like where I like the idea on its face but again don't know you know 100 where that goes but we'll see. Oh this is good to hear. Ed is down with otc. Thank you for that. That's great. What's up what's up with Hyper Liquid? I don't know how much I would see much about Hyper Liquid.
Jeff
The bill further prevents South Carolina and local governments from from imposing additional taxes or fees on transactions that involve digital assets when those assets used as a method of payment. Lawmakers frame this provision as a way to ensure parity between digital asset and the US dollar in commercial use.
Chip
That's great. Again something that you would seem like would have to go, you know, long term man that's fantastic.
Jeff
But you're still subject to federal income tax based on. It's still a taxable event if there, when you purchase with that asset. And there's.
Chip
But, but state agencies can't pile on and all of a sudden start saying, oh, well, we got to get our cut. You know, it's not going to happen.
Jeff
So, so no additional taxes coming from, from them, which is. That's a big move.
Chip
Just a clip, Jeff. Look at this. We're ahead of schedule here. 26 minutes in, we're already going into our geopolitics legends.
Jeff
Legends.
Chip
How amazing is that? Legends. What's up, fresh? Listen, you know what's interesting? You know, there's so in the geopolitical space, we got a lot on the US we only got like some. Usually we do a lot overseas, but there's a lot going on here right now in the US So if you're outside, you can learn a little more of what's going here. But, but this is interesting. I, you probably, we, I think we've all probably seen this. There you go. Ripple hat, baby. I think you've probably all seen that. Look, I got my other beer over here. Look, you see this right here, Jeff, look at this.
Jeff
What a nice hat.
Chip
There you go, a little bear. So we've all probably seen this interview with Donald Trump, but this was a while ago, it's going back a number of years. But he, he talks about, talks about loyalty in this clip, and he talks about, hey, me, well, I'm not gonna explain it, but I just play it. But talks about loyalty and tell me if this isn't so spot on.
Donald Trump
You see, I'm so loyal to people, and maybe I'm loyal to a fault, but I'm so loyal to people that when somebody's slightly disloyal to me, I look upon it as a great act of horror.
Chip
And how are you different than you were three or four years ago?
Donald Trump
Well, I used to. And in fact, I think I said in my first book that, and maybe this was foolish, but I really meant it that someday I'd like to maybe lose everything for a period of time to see who's loyal and who's not loyal. And I frankly, I found out a lot of things.
Stephen Miller
Did you find out who's loyal or not?
Donald Trump
I'll tell you what. And you can't guess it.
Chip
You can't predict it.
Donald Trump
You think certain people would be loyal no matter what, and it turns out that they're not. And you just, you just can't predict it.
Chip
It's very difficult and that would have been.
Donald Trump
I think I would have treated people different. I think that, you know, some of the people that were most loyal to me are people that I didn't think would be. Some of the people that were least loyal to me are people.
Chip
You got it?
Donald Trump
I think I would have treated them differently. I think I would have treated different groups differently. I would have wiped the floor with the guys that weren't loyal, which I will now do, which is great. You know, I love getting even with people, but I will.
Chip
You love getting even?
Donald Trump
Oh, absolutely. You don't believe. You don't believe in the eye for the eye.
Chip
You do.
Stephen Miller
I know.
Donald Trump
You're welcome enough.
I think we do.
But anyway, but.
Chip
But tell me, I mean, you. You're going to get even with some
Donald Trump
people because given the opportunity, if given the opportunity, I will get even with some people that are disloyal to me.
Ro Khanna
Come on, go.
Donald Trump
Even though you didn't endorse me.
Chip
There you go. Of course it's been doctored and add a bunch of music and stuff. But I'll tell you what, that's pretty spot on. You get to see, like, some of the people that weren't really so loyal. You know, one of the things Trump wanted to do about a year ago is remember, D.C. was crime ridden. You couldn't go on the streets. Women were afraid to stop at red lights because for fear. And so here's a woman walking through D.C. talking, sharing her experience about how D.C. has been cleaned up.
Anonymous Woman
I'm gonna dox myself as I'm moving, but I've lived near Meridian hill Park in D.C. for almost two years now,
Chip
and
Anonymous Woman
the water's never been in the pond there.
Chip
This has never happened before.
Anonymous Woman
I was always too afraid to come here because of the homeless people, but they're all gone. And it seriously looks like Paris. I mean, I've never seen this many people out here. I mean, look, everyone is enjoying it.
Alien Tron
Everybody.
Anonymous Woman
A year ago, Trump said he was going to clean up D.C. and. And he did.
Chip
It is clean.
Anonymous Woman
It's calm, it's quiet. Except for the Chipotle down in Navy Yard, apparently this weekend. But I wasn't there for that. The homeless are out. The birds are chirping. The water is in the ponds, the fountains are working. Thank you, mister. This is the benefit of having a construction man as your president.
Chip
There you go, construction man. But, oh, no, Orange Man. Bad. No, he's bad. He's putting it all in his pocket, dude. He's keeping all the money for himself. These people Are insane, Jeff. They're just. They're insane. So this one. Check this one out. This is. Believe it or not, Jeff. This next video was put out by New York congressional candidate Anthony Constantino, and it went viral. This is the hit single called Trump. See if you can count how many times Trump is in this video.

Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump.
Chip
MAGA channel now. Well, maybe I've been paying attention, but maybe. Let's go back six years that we've been doing the channel. It's been geopolitics from the beginning. And, yeah, we are pro conservative. We are pro usa. We are pro make people. Is this. Is this. Is this the MAGA Channel? Yeah. It's so funny when people go like, I'm against mag. You're against making America great. Oh, it was never great. Then get the F out. What I say, you don't like it, get out. Get out. If you're not. If you're not enjoying it. You know the Trump song? That's good. Gotta have a. Gotta have a little bit of fun. This is Anthony Constantino Situations. What does it say?
Jeff
Where'd it go? This is used in advanced interrogation.
Chip
Wouldn't that be great? That and really hardcore rock tunes. Yeah. 100. Yeah. Yeah. I love Donald. Everywhere I go I love. It's a little bit too. It's a little bit nausea and there's too much Donald Trump's in there. I was getting a little too. It was just a little bit too much there, Joe. Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump. Too much Trump. All right, so let's see.
Jeff
We got some good videos on California. There's so much stuff going on around the world, all sorts of amazing content.
Chip
Yeah, I thought this was interesting too. So Trump rolled out Trump Rx and you guys deal with drugs and stuff. Every president says, oh, we're gonna, we're gonna fix the. We're gonna fix it, we're gonna fix it. That's 100 true there. But this is him introducing. I'm not gonna play the whole clip, but just him talking about the, you know, the Trump RX and math. A lot of these prices are slashed and a lot of people are paying so much especially. Yeah, it was just out of control. Well, every president going back to. For Bush 1 promised most favorite nation status where that's what Europeans have always paid, but for some reason we could never get it. We could never do it. There we go. Definitely does transcendental meditation while humming Trump. There you go.
Jeff
And UK could do with it. Definitely over there.
Chip
You definitely need one. Unfortunately, you got a, a wank. A wanker here. Starboard. Here's Trump.
Donald Trump
Today I'm thrilled to announce that we're increasing the number of drugs available on Trump rx by nearly seven times, adding over 600 affordable generics to the website. Working with Indus.
Chip
Let me just stop with this now. When this first was introduced, Elizabeth Warren, the fake Indian came out and started raving, oh, these are just the big pharma drugs that nobody. What about the, what about the, what about the non pharma ones? What about the generic ones? He's not doing anything that well. Stick it up here. You know where your tp. So there it is. And who helped him basically do this? You're going to see in a minute.
Donald Trump
Three partners. Cost effective generic drugs are often available at just a tiny fraction of the price of their brand name equivalents. And in theory, they're the same thing. Sometimes they're better with the same dosage, the same effectiveness and the same active ingredients. Yet many consumers do not think to ask for them. They don't know about them.
Chip
It's 100% true. And so here we go right here.
Jeff
It's pretty remarkable seeing you.
Chip
So one of the people that made this all possible and one of the things that Mark Cuban, whether you like them or hate him, he has done a lot on this front is making drugs affordable. They basically get them. They mark them up only 15, but they get them and they, they really cheap. So Trump is being asked a question here about Mark Cuban because they have said some very mean things about each other. And Trump has tweeted pictures of, of Biden looking or not Biden, but, but Cuban looking like, who's the one? Rachel Maddow with the glasses. They kind of saying they look the same person, whatever. But here they are. And as we ask them a question
Jeff
about it, hey, it's pretty remarkable seeing you and Mark Cuban up there and the fact that obviously Mark endorsed Kamala
Chip
Harris back in 2020.
Donald Trump
Well, he made a mistake.
Chip
It was a big mistake. What does this say about what you
Jeff
two are building here?
Donald Trump
Well, it says, we love people. We love our country. He wants to. He's got a good company, and he's going to do a lot of business with this. And I'm going to get drugs out through Amazon, through the whole group, and we're going to get drugs out. And Mark wanted to be a part of it. And I think Mark was very gracious. He said, this is something that really works the first time you've seen it. And he had to believe that if he said it about me. You have to understand that. Look, I think I have a lot of respect for Mark Franklin. I always have.
Chip
Yeah, well, they've. They're nice to each other now. But here's so Mark Cuban's time to come up and have a conversation. Boy, the left was melting down about this one, Jeff. Holy cow.
Mark Cuban
Thank you for having me, Mr. President. I think other than you, I've been the biggest proponent of TrumpRx.com and the reason for that is Republicans want cheaper drugs, Independents want cheaper drugs, Democrats want cheaper drugs, and together, I think we're going to do something special. What makes cost plus drugs different is that when you click through Trump Rx to our site, not only will you see a great price, but you'll see our actual cost and that we only mark it up 15%. And what makes this incredible, Mr. President, all the volume and all the people that are going to come from the site, as our volumes go up, our costs go down, which means we'll be ending up charging less to people over a period of time. So this is a special announcement. This is a special partnership. 559 of those drugs are ours. So we're really excited to be part of this. Thank you.
Chip
It's pretty gracious, I got to say. And, you know, look for this is the kind of thing that you see with the Trump administration you don't see with a lot. It's like you're bringing people together, have a common mission. Look, they don't like each other. They don't like each other's politics. Cuban wasn't interested in voting for. For Trump. He doesn't like a lot of the things, he's a liberal, but you know, if you can. This doesn't happen anymore. If you can find common ground on something that matters, then you should take it. You don't have to love everything, you don't have to support everything. Jeff. But this doesn't. This used to happen a lot, but now it's like orange man bad 24 7, can't do it. And those ladies in the View were melting down about this, having a freakout show, saying like, oh my God, he's gonna pocket all the money and he's making the money like they can't see it for what it is. And Mark Cuban sold out. And what's he doing standing up there with the president kissing his ass and blah blah, blah. I'm like, hey, if you can find common ground and you can focus on that one, common ground. You look at Bobby Kennedy, Jr. Democrat his whole life, my God, he's a Kennedy. And Trump brought him into the administration. Tulsi Garbage Gabbard was another know she got basically expelled from the Democrat Party. And again, you got to put differences aside if you think you can play on somebody's strengths. And first administration. I've actually really seen that.
Jeff
That's right. I mean we're so, we're really seeing the first of many amazing things that have been happening, you know, and we're seeing. And as, as you talk about Cuban, we have to reference what's going on with Cuba because Cuba is really important right now. And some big statements, some big moves that are happening over in Cuba. And so Rubio issued a big statement today, actually launched a message came on Cuban's Independence Day talking about there's new relationship getting ready to come on the horizon with Cuba. And so there was a message from Trump specific. I'm trying to get this over here, but.
Chip
Well, they, they basically they indicted Raul Castro for murder,
Jeff
for murder From I think 1996 or 1986, whenever it happened. But the, the statement here, like the American patriots who cast off tyrannical rule 250 years ago, Cuba's founding generation rose against the Spanish empires subjugation to claim the same birthright our citizens enjoy today. It's the right of the p. Of a free people to govern themselves. That was the message, the regime. That was the message from, from Trump. Now the regime in Havana today is the direct betrayal of the nation their founding patriots bled and died for. Trump continued here as president. I'm taking decisive action on behalf of this long suffering corner of our hemisphere and it's real. It's really great. So Rubio definitely, you know, delivering. He delivered a message in Spanish to the people in Cuba, and it's really just a matter of time because now that he has been, uh, charged with murder, now it. We'll see what happens next. Are they gonna go and, uh, into Cuban and extradite him? We need some salvation in Cuba. The Cuban people deserve some liberation, and we knew that was next on the horizon. So take out the communist regime of Cuba, which is very close to, to the state of Florida. And so we want to make sure that we have, you know, solid allies that are, you know, very, very close, which would be great. Very great.
Chip
Yeah. 100, Jeff. And it's. I have to say that basically, when they're probably done with Iran, we're probably going to see what's next on the agenda. But I would think that, you know, Cuba is going to be in play and about time, too. I mean, they're basically starving, right? So they have no industry, they have nothing. I mean, it's just basically almost a dead country. So I don't know what they think is going to come out of it, but there's no. It's not going to be much, Jeff. It's not going to be much at all. But actually, Trump was talking a little bit about that today. I think I have the clip here. Here it is right here. Let me grab it. So, yeah, Trump made. He said something about the Cuba thing today. Let me put this clip up. I was able to grab it real quick. Here it is. Let's go. Let's go. Here we go.
AI-generated Trump
Amigos de Cuba, this is your presidento speaking. Actually, I could be your president when you think about it. 51st state, Estado Cinco uno, baby. You could be part of el America. Mucho bueno, ideo, Poppy Dali. Anyway, right now we're finishing up a little side quest in El Irano, but as soon as we're done there, es la ora de la big, beautiful Cuban fiesta, chico. We're going to pick up Raul Castro, dress him up like a dj, put him in jail, and we're going to have the biggest fiesta of all time with delicious mojitos, sexy mamacitas and all you can eat. Tacos and nachos, muchachos. We can get Daddy Yankee to sing that Gasolina song, and we're going to fiesta all night long. EZ la ora de make el Cuba great again. Oh, muchas gracias, chicos.
Chip
That sounds pretty good. I mean, think about it. Margaritas and Hot mamacitas. My God, Jeff, that's something, huh? Yeah, I think that was AI, Jeff. I'm pretty sure it was. Well, yeah, I think, I think, I think.
Jeff
You think that wasn't Trump.
Chip
No, I think that was a. I think quite honestly that might have been. Yeah, I'm not sure that was Trump. I think that was. Well, it was Trump, but not exactly. And some other big news, you know, we got rid of Cassidy, who's now Major. We called them, Jeff.
Jeff
We called both of them. And Thomas Massey the week, within the
Chip
week here, Stooge who voted against everything, who's basically a Democrat, he's a Libertarian. So which Democrat? Same thing. So Thomas Massey from Kentucky loses his primary against Trump backed primary challenger Ed Galrain. And you know, first of all, he couldn't even be gracious in losing. He had to be an on top of everything else. But, you know, he's a complete hater. A complete. But look at this. Jeff Garin won 19 out of 21 Kentucky counties in the Republican primary. Massey only won two counties, including his home county. How embarrassing for a sitting Congressman to. That is embarrassing as all hell. And of course we've got a bunch of video on this I think is worth diving into. Now. This was from February. This is from November of 25. This is Massey, smartass Massey, talking about how he's winning. He's the winner. Everyone loves him, but here's him talking about it.
Jeff
I'm not tired of winning yet, but we are winning. And not only the speaker, but the, the Attorney General, the FBI director and the President himself and the Vice President, they're taking a big loss this week because after months of fighting, I am winning this week with Ro Khanna.
Chip
You were winning with Ro Khanna, but you didn't win this week, dude. So it didn't go so well. And you know, it's funny, I love Stephen Miller, but I've never seen still Stephen Miller be more on fire. Here's Stephen Miller wearing his MAGA cap, just lighting it up.
Stephen Miller
Stephen Miller here to talk with you about a very important subject, which is how Tom Massie betrayed America, betrayed you, and betrayed your children. The single most important issue affecting the future of our country is ending the mass third world invasion of America and reversing that invasion. And on the most important issue, on the most important vote, on the most important bill, on the most important day, Tom Massie sided with every House Democrat, every Senate Democrat, Hakeem Jeffries, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer against President Trump, against the American people and against you and your family. When the time came to vote for President Trump's signature border security and immigration enforcement bill, the bill to provide record funding for ICE and border patrol and mass deportation, Tom Massie voted no. Tom Massie voted to kill the bill. Tom Massie sided with the House and Senate Democrats over the sovereignty of this republic. I personally called Tom Massey and I said, Tom, this is the most important vote of your life and career. This is the vote to reverse the invasion of America. We need your vote. We need your support. And Tom Massey said we could all pound sand. Voted against Trump. He voted against the American people. He voted against you.
Chip
He just goes on for another, you know, two minutes. But anyway, he, I think he's a little bit happy that Tom Massey isn't around anymore. And here's Scott Jennings on CNN talking about it too. And you know, he had to be an on the way out too. He said some stupid things on, on the, on his concession speech.
Jeff
I just want to also add one other thing. Thomas Massie tonight, in his concession speech said something despicable. Anti Semitic, nasty gutter politics right at the end. What a way to go out, he said, I would have called Ed Gal Ryan, but you know, I had to, I had to find him in Tel Aviv. There was a, there was an undercurrent of anti Semitism in this race on the Massey side. There's been an undercurrent of it in his career, unfortunately. And it really came out in an ugly way tonight. And I think it needs to be stated, acknowledged and condemned because it was pretty despicable.
Chip
What an you have a chance to say thanks to supporters and he's got to, he's got to say stupid like that. Somebody got this quick video of Massie saying that maybe it wasn't such a good idea to go against Trump. Look at this one. Listen, right. I up. Yeah, pretty, pretty much. So here's Massey's, Massey's speech right here. I don't really care that I lost because you know what?
Jeff
At least now I'm free. At least now everyone knows exactly what I'm up to.
AI-generated voice
So tonight we're going to invite some couples over to our home, we're going to have a little wine and we're going to get our freak on, you know, Know what I'm saying? I'm talking Michelle Obama sized pine cones
Jeff
shoved right up my ass, two at a time.
Chip
That's how I like it. Yeah, babies. Wow. I don't think that was real either. I think that the Pine cone stuff is too much. All the memes. I couldn't pull them all, but there was a lot of them. And then this definitely is AI just. I can tell by the way he's dressed. Look at this. Jeff.
AI-generated voice
Thank our Supreme Leader Khamenei, the gay Mexican Nazi. Nikki Fuentes, Crackhead Candace, Code Pink Ro Khanna, Large Face Marge, the libertarian that blame Israel for their miserable existence. And especially the trunes. I up. But that's what happens when you play with America First Mega Patriots and King Trump. I shall go back to milking my cows. And after I was loomered, I hope that Lauren Boebert will play with my pine cone again someday. Praise be to Allah. And Aloha snack bar.
Chip
Oh, damn. The cow comes out chewing the kaja. And then here's. Somebody took, you know, the famous meme with the lady. No, someone made it. Thomas Massey. That was pretty funny. And then here's, here's Trump celebrating, got a cigar lit, burning a picture of Massey's lighting a cigar off of it. You gotta love that. But guess who wasn't happy? Democrat Ro Khanna. For some reason, these guys were big buddies. Maybe because they're both Democrats. Maybe because they were both, you know, in the same, you know, wore the same stripes. Listen to Rokhan is not happy about this at all.
Ro Khanna
Thomas Massie lost tonight. I'm angered by the smears on his character. He lost because he had the guts to take on the Epstein class. He lost because he had the guts to stand up against the war in Iran. He worked with me to pass the most consequential and popular piece of bipartisan legislation in recent history. In the Epstein Transparency act, many young voters under 50 voted for him. He was winning them by over 30 points. And today I say, you may not have a home in the Trump coalition, but there is a new generation of populist Democrats. And we welcome you to help us change this country, change the rotten system, and have a politics that puts the working class ahead of the Epstein class.
Chip
It's so funny how they were so Epstein, Epstein. They're all Democrats. They're 95% of them are Democrats. All the people on the flight, they're all Democrats. And they're like, oh, but then Trump. And then meanwhile, it comes out in the Epstein files that Trump is the only one who blew him in. Basically turn him into. For his, for his bs. He was running. I mean, he's the only one. It's like, oh, that was in the Epstein files. And Epstein hated him. So, yeah, sure, it's but, but Trump, they like to project everything that they're up to, Jeff. They like to say, like, oh, they're doing all this bad stuff. They're doing all this bad stuff. Well, there was one other that got his ass beat too. And I'm thinking the folks in Georgia right now are celebrating, Jeff, because this guy, if you guys remember the steel in Georgia, this guy was at the forefront of it. But none other than. Wait a minute. Nope, let me see that. Hang on a second. And put the right one on there. None other than Brad Raftenberger got purged. Georgia Republicans made it loud and clear. Rassenburg. He was the, the Georgia governor who fought for Trump tooth and nail in 2020. Blocked real audits. Well, he was the Secretary of State, I believe. Finished a pathetic third with only 14 to 15. Didn't even make a runoff. Georgia didn't forget what happened in 2020. And while America was screaming for transparency and election integrity, he stood in the way and played ball with the other side. Democrats and CNN loved him. Straight out. Rhino purge in action. Huge congrats to Trump. Endorsed Bert Jones and everyone else who showed up and voted the clowns out. Message to every other rhino, your days are numbered. Rhinos out. America first. Let's keep rolling. And let's look at this, Jeff. So the Georgia Republicans. So. And he told Trump that he find 11,780 votes. Wasn't happening. By the way, Jeff, the numbers that already came out, the, the legals had voted. The, the, the prisoners that voted everything. Every one of them is more than 10,000 people that didn't live in a state that voted. He won by just that much. Certified the questionable 2020 results. He blocked transparency and opposed audits and became a hero to Democrats and never Trumpers. The base is awake. Loyalty to America first. So there's going to be a runoff between Bert Jones and. Who's the other dude? Rick. His name escapes me at this moment. But yeah, they're gonna have a runoff together.
Jeff
It's a bunch of good ones. It's a bunch of good ones coming up. Yeah, we gotta watch out how they unfold because MAGA is coming out ahead, which is amazing, just amazing. It just keeps the tone of the media, the tone of the podcasters out there. It was all anti makeup. Our mega, it was all about, you know, the fact that we're going to lose seats. The exact opposite happened. They're so, they're so disconnected with reality. A lot of times the way they try to project stuff, you know, rhinos are Out, Democrats are out, redistricting is in the way. Things need to be, bring back state rights. You know, there's no more corrupted behavior. We got to start cleaning up the voter rolls like across the board. There's so much that has to happen and we talk about this so much. You know, people are like, oh, you're a mega channel. Well, hey, we've always been, you know, pro right, pro conservative, pro normal, you know, pro rational thought process. But the thing is, is that you have to be able to connect your crypto, investment finance and geopolitics. If you don't understand the geopolitics of what's happening, then our global investment can be very dangerous. Right. So if you're investing locally in a local company, you don't have to worry about the geopolitical aspect as much. I still think you need to be interconnected with the politic. But crypto on a global scale, especially when we look at the legal issues that cryptos run into in the US and then you have to go across the world and start saying, okay, what are the policies now? Are there pro policy for crypto, pro policy for freedom, or are they the exact polar opposite? If you look at a country like England, which, that, you know, if you look at Europe, we started to see a lot of pro crypto behavior. But when you see a lot of anti freedom behavior coming from the, the political echelon to the street, then you know that there's also not going to be freedom of movement with your currency. And that means that your cryptocurrency, which you're invested in or you're passionate about, or a blockchain that you want to build on, your freedoms are going to be eroded because of the political class. So you have to take all of that stuff into consideration. And so we look across the globe and say, okay, what is it going to take? What is the one common thread that everybody around the world wants as an individual? They want freedom, they want freedom to earn, they want freedom to take care of their family and they want to live out their life and live their dream. Now there are certain governments like in England, that are oppressing their people and taking away their dream because it's amazing, I don't know how, you know, the people are allowing this to happen, but they're being taken over, you know, from the outside by the permission of the, of the government. And it's a very dangerous position to be in. Whereas you have people that are striving to succeed all over the world. It's the one common thread and you can, you can test the tone of that chip because we have people that come in from all over the world and everyone says the same thing and we have people from across the globe that are pro Trump, across the globe that are pro us. And it's amazing to me that you'll have people here in the US that are, you know, that are, you know, in the US that are, you know, aren't able to see that. They're not able to see, you know, how great things are here. So.
Chip
Yeah, well said.
Jeff
So what does that say? What is wt? Wtk Guys, do we want to talk XRP or politics? I don't know.
Chip
Well, the first part of the show is. Yeah, well, the first, the first half of the show is always crypto and the second half is politics. And frankly, I would get bored talking more than a half an hour about crypto. Jesus. Yeah, I'd rather talk about AI 24 7, but that's a whole other thing because I live AI 24 7, diving into AI too. My whole feed and access AI, everything I do is AI AI hundreds of dollars in subscriptions to AI. Why? Because it's awesome. And crypto AI same thing every day, nothing changes. It's the same, same freaking thing every freaking day.
Jeff
Agentic AI accounts that are going to start spending on your behalf because they're automating the financial exciting thing to happen to crypto.
Chip
AI crazy blockchain.
Jeff
So what's that?
Chip
It's perfectly suited for blockchain. It really is.
Jeff
Yeah. I still can't get over that there's a company out there that's going to give credit to AI that to me is still like mind boggling to me.
Chip
It's wild, isn't it?
Jeff
You can have an AI agent running around with credit.
Chip
It really is. Cash wants only jack tunes in very often. Most people peel off by the, by the time, the first 20 minutes. So they missed, they didn't even. So they just gotta even know. We do like geopolitics. We do way more geopolitics. I got some starmer stuff.
Jeff
People that have been coming, that's why.
Chip
But I want to talk a little bit about New York City. And so Jeff Bezos, who is, you know, he's a Democrat, he makes, he, he owns the Washington Post, you know, he's liberal, he lives up in Liberalville up in there in Washington, you know, he. But this is kind of a pretty spot on account of what's going on. And, and apparently he's not a communist and he doesn't believe in communism, but here's him talking about New York and
Jeff Bezos
Mandami, the New York City school system, right? They spent $44,000 per student. 44,000. That's 30% more per student than other big cities like Chicago, Louisiana and Boston. And it's three times more than Miami and Houston. And by the way, New York City doesn't get better outcomes. So this. Listen, let me, let me just say, if we ran Amazon the way New York City runs their school system, right, Your packages would take six weeks to arrive. We'd have to charge you $100 delivery fee, and then when the package did finally arrive, it'd have the wrong item in it anyway.
Jeff
Oh, wait, wow. Wait. A pretty weak Amazon.
Chip
Oh, you mean, you mean it would be non efficient. Can you imagine that, Jeff? How excited? Sometimes I order something, like at 10:39 at night or something, or 10:40, and at 5 in the morning, my dog's barking because they're out delivering. I'm like, how did this happen?
Jeff
They come at 4:00am sometimes.
Chip
Yeah, well, it sucks. My dog always goes nuts and barks and wakes me up every freaking time. It's like, dude, I get it. You're excited somebody showed up. I like be a little quieter. Put around at my other door, okay? Don't put it at my main door. Put at the other door. Because to wake the damn dog up. And then I'm up and the whole house is up. It's no good. Spencer Pratt going strong. You know what's funny is a lot of people are like, oh, his AI ads are the best. He's not making them. People are just making them for him. He's not making them. There's one dude that makes most of them, but everybody jumped on the bandwagon. But here's another good one. They're. They're done so well and it's all AI.
AI-generated voice
This mayor race is really heating up. Who you guys voting for? Haven't decided. Same. Haven't really been following it.
Chip
Same.
AI-generated voice
Same saying, I'm not MAGA or anything. But the city's kind of gone to though, right?
Stephen Miller
Oh, yeah.
AI-generated voice
Jessica stepped on a needle at the playground the other day. I'm not mag or anything, though. I'm not mag or anything, but have you been downtown lately? Looks like an episode of the Walking Dead. Not that I'm MAGA or anything, though. Spencer Pratt seems like he has some good ideas. Not that I'm MAGA or anything. He does seem really angry all the time, though. Well, they did burn his house down. Also, apparently, he's staying at the Bel Air Hotel. Not the trailer on his property. Well, yeah, they burned his house down. Okay, we're all adults here. How about on three we just say who we're voting for? One, two, three. Spencer Pratt. Yeah. Spencer Pratt. Spencer Pratt.
Jeff
You are not alone.
AI-generated voice
It says, can you imagine if our wives knew?
Chip
We're all voting for Spencer Pratt. Right, of course.
Karen Bass
Obviously.
Chip
I wish I could vote like yesterday. Vote Spencer Pratt. This is great stuff, man.
Jeff
That's really good.
Chip
And then Karen Bass, Jeff, when she was running for mayor last time, she said she was going to end homelessness. Well, how inconvenient that the CNN reporter brought this up to her. Look at this.
Interviewer
It's the Islamic Republic.
Chip
Sorry, it's wrong one. I don't even have that one loaded. I don't have that one loaded. Oh, here it is. Here it is. Jake Tapper, in 2023, you said that your goal was to end street homelessness in LA by 2026. It's now 2026, and we haven't ended it. We have not ended it, and we're not close to ending it.
Jeff
How are you so off?
Karen Bass
Well, basically, when I said that it was at the beginning of my term. I am very committed to achieving that goal. I didn't anticipate bureaucratic barriers that I would experience.
Chip
But I am the bureaucrat. You are the top bureaucrat. Who's in the way. You are the top dog. This is such bullshit.
Karen Bass
Jeff totally called prepared to take those on now. And let me just give you an example. Los Angeles made a decision probably 20, 25 years ago to not address street homelessness, to focus solely on building. And granted, I have fast tracked 42,000 units of affordable housing, but it still takes a couple of years. So basically, the policy of LA City and LA county was we could accept street homelessness as long as we were building. We didn't anticipate the problem metastasizing. In my three and a half years, for the first time, two years in a row, street homelessness has decreased in our city. There hadn't been a decrease before. That is a quality of life. 17% impacts all Angelenos. Whether you are unhoused or whether you run a business and your business can't function because there's tents outside. Whether you're a parent that's trying to navigate through tents to get to school or whether it's residents where it has decreased the quality of life. So this is a problem that all Angelenos experience, and we have got to have A commitment that this has to end. The city and the county never made that commitment before. And I found something that surprised me. I found a lot of people who work internally.
Chip
This guy's trying hard to keep a
Karen Bass
straight face, who were very resistant to ending street homelessness.
Chip
But you promised that it would go away 100% and it's only gone down about 17.6%.
Karen Bass
Right.
Chip
So why should people trust you that you're going to be able to get to the hundred percent?
Karen Bass
Because let me just tell you for the first time we've had a decrease at all. There was not a decrease before at all because there was no commitment to get rid of street encampments. And we had encampments all over the city. So I would ask for people's trust in the sense that.
Chip
What? Trust? What the hell's wrong with this witch?
Karen Bass
We have absolutely made progress. We know what we need to do now to end street homelessness. We need to end the failed policies of the past, which is all we're going to do is focus on building.
Chip
Best way to end the fail policy of the past is doing like Spencer
Jeff
Pratt, History place though.
Chip
That's the best one. Look at this one here, Jeff. Visual vendetta. Oh, I have a different one up there. It's calling me a race is sexist, whatever the f you want. But most women who look like Karen Bass are straight up a holes in our modern day society. I look at a woman with their type of look, I walk away. What is that the look of inefficiency, of making broken promises. Is that the look you're looking at? How many hundreds of thousands of people were imported during the Biden year? Yeah, Chad, of course. Yeah. And they're all but that. Yeah. Those aren't the homeless people though. They get room and board. Homeless people are the Americans. Are the vets on the road. Visual vendetta. Am I the only one here that wants to scream, Shut the F up you lion pieces? I think everybody's in the same camp. They just keep talking. I think if they keep talking enough, maybe they'll get around it. But he's like, yeah, but you promise? He's like, I know, but it went down for the first time ever in 20, 30 years. What does that have to do with anything?
Jeff
It was amazing. Went down by a percentage point.
Chip
Yeah, that's, you know, you gotta just, you gotta really wonder. So King's College in London, this gentleman, Eunice guinea, he asked students why they're loudly protesting for Palestine, but they're un characteristically Very silent when it comes to Iran. And of course that's because. And you know what else is weird, Jeff? Do you know that Iran does not want to cap their wells? Because if they cap them, it's a big procedure to get them going again. So they're dumping their oil into the. Into the water. And it's showing up in, like, it's showing up downstream in other Arab countries, of course. And so. But there's no green piece. There's no. There's no these, you know, what's her name? Greta. The little Greta girl that runs around. She's all worried about stuff. Not a word about that. Because it's political this. They try to turn this activism, and it's political they were out there. But Gaza, Gaza this and Gaza that and every. Blah, blah, blah. I saw a video today where a guy was again with. With pretending the child was dead until the poor kid had had an itch on his leg he had to get to. And then. Oh, geez.
Jeff
Poly stuff. It's been going on for decades, but most people are new to it, so they don't know about that stuff.
Chip
They don't. But listen to this. This is. Listen. I'm asking these kids. Listen to this.
Interviewer
They're funding Hezbollah. They're funding Houthis.
Anonymous Woman
Really?
Chip
I'm gonna cut here. Can't have a good faith debate about this.
Interviewer
I'm outside King's College in London and we're debating people on why are you silent on Iran when he was protesting for Palestine? I think there is a big hypocrisy. So I'm debating people just to figure out why that is. For Palestine.
Chip
For Israel, obviously.
Jeff
For Palestine.
Chip
Israel of evil. Okay.
Interviewer
Why?
Chip
I don't even, like, exactly know what's going on.
Interviewer
I don't know that in three weeks, the Islamic Republic killed 50,000 innocent Iranian people that were just protesting because they're unhappy with the government. They're unhappy with being oppressed, yet not a single protest. Why do you think people were so loud on Palestine but so silent on Iran?
Chip
A lot of factors can. I think for a second there's not much of a Korean vision as to what they want in Iran.
Stephen Miller
First of all, the Internet blackout.
Chip
But they have seen it now. They have.
Interviewer
The Internet has been open.
Stephen Miller
I actually think that the Iranian government is funding many of the protests in Palestine.
Interviewer
I agree.
Stephen Miller
I think that many of them are ill educated on it. People see the overthrowing of Armenia's taking Israel, US UK side, which people don't like because they like to be very anti Western.
Interviewer
Why do you think people in the west want to be anti Western?
Stephen Miller
The sweet, strange people have been fed certain things from their friends and from social media and they've been taught what the west does is imperialism, colonialism and goes and wrecks other countries.
Interviewer
Islamic Republic, they're the biggest instability in the world.
Chip
I do disagree fundamentally about. Can you just repeat what you were saying?
Interviewer
It's the Islamic Republic. They're funding Hamas, they're funding Hezbollah, they're funding Houthis, calling them resistance groups, but in reality they're terrorists. And trust me, I lived under the Islamic Republic. I know, at the taken over our country. And I just feel so sad that the international community, especially university campuses, don't see this. If you get rid of the Islamic Republic, you'll have a much more peaceful Middle east, both for Iranians and for Palestinians. So I don't think Israel is a problem.
Chip
I'm going to cut here. I'm. I can't have a good faith debate about this. I'm sorry.
Interviewer
But it's true.
Chip
I feel it's a bit unfair to pinpoint it on a religion.
Interviewer
If you actually study the Quran, Islamic conquest and if you study Islamic countries, you realize that when Islam mixes with politics, it can be very dangerous. That's why we have so many Muslims moving to Christian countries, but not a lot of Christians moving to Muslim countries.
Chip
It's fair to say the same on Jewish.
Interviewer
I have to disagree with you.
Chip
You mentioned that there is radicalism in the West. How do we root out the radicalism?
Interviewer
I think after the 1979 revolution, you can see when Iran fell, the whole Middle east though, so you had a radical increase in Islamic terrorism, terrorist groups.
Chip
Right.
Interviewer
We had an exodus of 10 million Iranians leaving. I think the west is becoming radicalized because you have tens of millions of people moving from Middle east to Europe and America, which naturally just changes the demographic. And obviously in between those people you're going to have a lot of radicals. And I think there's also a concentrated effort by the Islamic Republic, by Qatar, to fund anti west sentiments and anti Israel sentiment in universities because they want to make Israel the bad guy so they deflect responsibility from themselves to Israel.
Chip
It's awful.
Stephen Miller
It now seems to drive everything, the communist stand over there, which is basically telling us that this country is awful, capitalism is awful, and we should essentially destroy all of that for the sake of. You know what?
Interviewer
Yeah, I think it's always the unholy marriage of Marxism and Islamism.
Stephen Miller
It's one of those insane combos. When the Islamic Republic actually came to power, the socialists who actually ended up being kidnapped and killed.
Interviewer
Killed. Yeah.
Stephen Miller
After that.
Chip
Kind of surprising that somebody actually knows their history. Oh, my God. What's going on here? The one that knows the history and can speak intelligently about it is, like,
Stephen Miller
is with this joint partnership with Islamists.
Chip
Yeah, yeah.
Stephen Miller
You guys only work together because you hate the West.
Chip
Yeah.
Stephen Miller
As soon as they take power, like they did in Iran, they will kill you all. So that's what they did and that's what they're going to do again.
Anonymous Woman
Really?
Chip
Yeah.
Interviewer
Majority of Iranians want Islamic Republic on, and they've realized they can't do it by themselves. Iran has been in a war for the last 47 years with the Islamic Republic and they've literally killed millions of Iranians at this point. And I think there is this big hypocrisy in the world and we need to correct this information. And the only reason why I speak about Israel so much is because I say at this core, it's a religious war. They don't say, oh word about Muslim overlords killing their own people.
Jeff
I agree with you 1000%.
Chip
I agree with you 100%.
Stephen Miller
I want the Islamic Republic gone.
Chip
What do you think the leftist should be protesting for positively in Iran?
Interviewer
Look, we all want peace and prosperity, and that can only happen with the Islamic Republic of Iran because that would dry out the funding to Hamas, Hezbollah, and Houthis, which by extension would mean Israel is not going to be in a war every two years, which would then mean peace for the Palestinians. Okay, thank you very much.
Jeff
Thank you so much.
Chip
Cheers.
Anthony Constantino
Likewise.
Chip
A couple people was wised up a little bit. They don't even know why they believe what they believe, Jeff, but they're just so sure about it. I've never seen people be so sure about something. They have no clue.
Jeff
I've debated this issue for many, many years, and it just amazes me. The. The biggest causation of it is that most people are just not educated in it. And so they listen again. They take everything at face value. They just look at what they see in a chat group or on the surface news. Never travel, never been there, never experience any. Any of what he's talking about. And it's just. It's difficult, you know, it's a difficult conversation to have. But look, he's bridging the gap. Why? Because these people know. They don't have any idea why they're out there. They're supporting a quote, unquote, underdog. They have no idea who this underdog is. Right. And so they pick. They pick their fight because that's what they think. That's the. The lie they've been fed. And then they run with it. They have no idea. They have. Absolutely. If you go through the. The Palestinian Arabs and you say, okay, give me one historical figure. So they always go back to who? Arafat. Where was Arafat from? Egypt. He was an Egyptian. He wasn't a quote, unquote, Palestinian Arab. He wasn't that region, wasn't raised in that region. And he was extradited at one point, kicked out. And he was in Libya. Then they were in Jordan. They tried to take down the. The. The Jordanian kingdom in 1972. And there was just all this stuff. You just keep it going, you know, throughout. It's insane. You know, you just have to go back, you know, generation through the history, and you see the chaos that had ensued, you know, in different regions, and then you say, okay, let's.
AI-generated voice
Let's.
Jeff
Let's get it. So you guys see XRP music? What is this XRP music IO.
Chip
No, I've not seen that music IO XRP music IO. I don't know. Music ownership permanently on chain.

Jeff
Launch the app.
Chip
Centralized music marketplace built on the XRP ledger, where artists mint songs as NFTs and get paid in XRP. Let's put our songs out there. We start minting some of those bastards.

Chip
Pause here. So the. So is that. Was that a friend or. It was from 84 to 2026. That's. So I just passed and in March. That said, man, it was really great, dude. Very good tribute. Got me a little choked up because I lost the best friend. If you lose somebody, man, it just hits you in the gut. I could really feel those lyrics, man. You wish you could bring them back. You know, you think about them, and it's a tough one, man. Yeah, it got me, too. It was a good one, man.

Hosts: Jeff & Chip
Theme: Integration of XRP and blockchain into institutional finance, regulatory shifts, U.S. and global crypto policies, and intersections with AI, politics, and culture.
In this dynamic episode, Jeff and Chip explore how XRP is moving beyond retail speculation to become a core part of emerging financial infrastructure. They dive deep into the institutional adoption of digital assets, new regulatory frameworks, technological advancements like post-quantum security, and discuss the cultural context in which these shifts are happening. A recurring theme is the quiet but profound evolution of financial systems toward blockchain-based solutions—with XRP in the vanguard.
The episode captures a transformative moment for XRP and the broader crypto landscape. The conversation is rich with technical, regulatory, and cultural context, making clear that the future of digital assets is not about speculative price movement, but about foundational shifts in how the world’s money, assets, and value exchanges are being rebuilt. Ripple’s influence is finally being recognized at the highest levels, and community-driven cultural innovations (like NFT music) demonstrate the ecosystem’s vibrancy.
For longtime crypto watchers and newcomers alike, On The Chain remains a must-listen for connecting the dots between tech, finance, regulation, and politics—always with a bit of irreverence and community spirit.
