Foreign.
Jeff
Welcome to on the Chain. This is Jeff here with co host Chip. What is going on, Chip? What's going on? Everybody out there in the on the Chain world, you know what it is? We started at 8pm sharp. Look at that clock. It says 81 5. That's 8pm in some world. Looking forward to talk to everybody because we are going to dive into the shallow end head first for maximum impact. As Chip likes to say. Gotta get there out there fast and first. That's how we do it. And here we go. Ripple. Ripple. And here we go. Ripple dropped. Billion dollar bomb. 5 billion dollar bomb being dropped by Ripple. What's that all about? Why do we put some FUD and FOMO into the title? Well, you're gonna find out. XDC going Omni Chain. Is XTC the one. Is everyone moving to XTC away from XR DC is in complete meltdown. It's not who you think. Maybe it is.
Chip
That's. It's always who you think. Ready? Let's go. Welcome everybody. Down the Chain. Bang, bang, bang. Sometimes we feel a little bit like we got a punchier. We got. We have many different opens and sometimes we like to change it up a little bit. But I want to hear from where everybody's coming in from today. Good morning. Says the king. Yetai. First one to chime in with the Yeti. Isn't that wonderful? The Yeti. You gotta like that. Jeff. The attack.
Jeff
Dude, this is awesome.
Chip
The Yeti. Here we go. So, guys, where are you coming in from? We got c. Okay. We already got like. We already have a couple people with the yetis. We got a couple. Well, we have one in there. Hey, hey, hey. From South Carolina says Ray Ron. Yeah.
Jeff
T. Yeah.
Chip
New noun. Eyes. Wing. Wine. Eyes. Wine. Ice. Wine. Wine, Wine, wine.
Jeff
We're giving away a spirit walker today.
Chip
Spirit walker. It's going to be fantastic. The spirit walker.
Jeff
Plus, it's a new song. Of course it's a new Jeff. Every time I pieced it all together at the last second. Ottawa's here. Not so happy.
Chip
Ottawa, Ottawa, Ottawa. Ottawa's coming in. Look, Rob McDermott's in here. Beautiful.
Jeff
Rob, we almost gave away all of your Yetis.
Chip
It's a good thing you showed up. And they might prevent us from giving away your last few yetis left. These guys see what that. If you guys look right there on screen there, that is an elder. There are seven yelders and elders in the white tribe.
Jeff
That's it.
Chip
We. We own none of them. Rob owns one and I don't Know the other ones. The other ones are out there. If you want to people, you know, those are super rare.
Jeff
Yeah. So the Blue tribe have no elders, Chip.
Chip
There's no elders. No kings either.
Jeff
Nope.
Chip
No elders or kings. No prime ministers also, Jeff.
Jeff
Definitely not.
Chip
No presidents. Rob is a beast. Yeah. Rob wins with. There's nothing. That's the best right there. Rob totally wins for there. That's fantastic. Peak Hendricks coming in from Six Mile and Telegraph. You know where that is, Jeff? You know.
Jeff
Exactly.
Chip
Detroit. That's D. The big D. The big D, Jeff. You know where that is in there before?
Jeff
Once or twice.
Chip
A couple times. Been there. I've been known to Peru. Yeah. 8 mile, too. All right, here we go. I always love the street names there. The Quinder.
Jeff
That was always a hard one for people.
Chip
If you're not from there, you're like. You can't pronounce it. You know, the quindre de Quindre, the quinder. All right, so let's start with the top story here.
Jeff
Big Beaver.
Chip
Yeah. Joe, Buddy says Ripple's itching to spend that XRP escrow money before announcing their IPO. They offered 5 billion for Circle. No, it was only 4 billion. I believe that's the next story. Thanks for teasing it for us. Appreciate that.
Jeff
It's over. That's it, Joe.
Chip
That's it. We're done. But here it is. Ripple made a 4 to 5 billion. They don't really know 4 to 5 billion offer. Now, the funny thing is they're expecting $4 billion to be raised on the IPO. And I think we covered this already, but I believe out of the 1.2 million or 1.4 billion that they make, 960.960odd million are spent to coinbase. So it seems like a loss leader. Right. And the thing is, is that in order for it to be successful, it has to have high interest rates. Right. Because it only makes money on the interest. And if the interest rates drop, well, so does the profit.
Jeff
So how long do you think. How long do you think Circle is going to hold out, though?
Chip
No, but I mean, they have enough to. To make a better offer. But it's interesting because if. If they would have countered. And also who leaked this to the. To the news?
Jeff
Wow.
Brad Garlinghouse
Yeah.
Chip
Right. Because usually stuff like this stays under wraps. So are people trying to float this out? There is. Did Circle leak it to say, hey, maybe we're expecting a different offer? I mean, I don't know. But it's interesting because it says Circle was rebuffed. According To Bloomberg. Now, Bloomberg's one break in the story, but is it, you know, who really knows? Ripple made a 4 to 5 billion offer to USDC Issuer Circle was rejected. Now crypto Eddie brought up a really interesting point today on an earlier post on X. She said, was this before or she's guessing it was before their payments rail was announced. Remember they just announced that like a week and a half ago their payments like, and they were saying it's like it's, there is no such thing as a real time settlement. True. But there is something as a near real time which Ripple is, you know, if they're using XRP and their payment rail, it'll essentially settle in four to six seconds. Now Circle's payment system is like 107 seconds or something like that. It's, it's almost two. It's like two minutes. I don't know. Somebody will look it up and they'll let us know in the comments. The point of it is, is that, yeah, it's not anywhere. It's totally inferior to what Ripple's doing, but they're pouting. Well, there's no such thing as a real time payments. Okay. But four to six seconds is pretty, you know, pretty, pretty fast. So Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said in March the firm may look to buy blockchain infrastructure companies. So are they trying to like prove that this isn't a rumor? Now the other part of this is I went and checked and want to check again. I have my Ripple, my ripple list that I look at all the people in ripple. It's a, it's a list that I have on X going to go and see because Garlinghouse hasn't commented on this yet. And usually if it's a rumor, they come on squash and say this is not true, it's patently false. However, Jeff, it's like, I don't know in this case, Stripes deal to buy stable firm bridge for 1.1 billion represented one of crypto's largest deals to date. So there you are.
Jeff
There you have it.
Chip
There it is. Yeah, this, they're not going to ipo. Monica Long was very clear they would not be doing an IPO in 25. They have no plans to pursue an IPO. Listen, you know why you IPO? You IPO to raise money essentially, right? You go public, but you raise a crap ton of money. This is where the founders and people get paid back the money, right? Depending on where you are in the raises. Abc, if you're in one of the initial rounds, if you're like, if you're one of the early investors, this is where you get paid off. There's only $300 million from private, private people that have, you know, to have given Ripple. They don't need the money. So there's no reason to actually ipo. Everyone's been all the, the, what do you call it? The, the chasers, the ambulance chasers, you know, in the XRP community, Jeff, have been saying for a long time that they believe that it's ipo. Ipo. It's like the same people that were talking about settlement, the same people that are fixated.
Jeff
So stale.
Chip
It's just stale. It's just dumb. Really old. And Rob, Rob calls it right here. He's absolutely 100% right. And he's even reinforcing the fact that Monica Long is the one that said it, she said it recently that they're not going to do in 2025. And I honestly don't. The other thing is if you ipo, you've got quarterly representation. First of all, it takes you about a year to two year to get all your house in order. And then you can usually tell by the type of people they hire. They bring in big financial people and then when they start inserting them, you realize who the kind of people they're looking for and auditors and stuff. Because it takes about a year to two years to get that house in order to be able to go ahead and file. Now you file with the SEC and do you think why would they want to file and then subject themselves to the quarterly abuse and the quarterly reports they have to give and all the bs and they don't need that. Crypto regulations will keep it in check. They got Jeff 4. What is it? 46 billion in XRP. 46 billion in XRP. I don't think they needed.
Jeff
Jeff, what happened? I didn't hear you.
Chip
Yeah, I know. You were doing something and I saw you were messing with the song. I knew it. I knew. Weren't you. You're messing with the song.
Jeff
I was messing with this.
Chip
So if that was my wife, she would be. She would not only hear me, she would hear something that was happening on a TV somewhere. She'd be reading something and she'd be doing something else at the same time. We can't do that, Jeff. We can do one thing and sometimes I'm not even. We don't do it well, not even one thing at a time. Right? He's saying. Exactly. Yeah. Raise cash, build brand, provide the security, audits public markets, they don't need cash. They are the brand. They've done internal audits since day one. Right. They've also been very transparent. And you've heard Garlinghouse say this multiple times, that they're the most transparent blockchain company out there to, to a fault almost. And yeah, the. Why. Why do you want to raise money? Now? Circle, you can understand why they're going to want to raise $4 billion. However, if they believe the IPO goes for now with this payment infrastructure, if they think you can go to 5, 6, why would they say $6 billion from Ripple? But was there not a counteroffer thrown out there? Was there not another number? Or would they throw out like a number? Like it was 10 to 12 billion. It was, it was too big. I don't know. And what would be the point? So you get usdc, Jeff, but what do you do with it? I mean, you get usdc. What do you actually. What do you actually do?
Jeff
Buy them by Circle.
Chip
Right.
Jeff
I mean, you get, I mean there's so much more to it. Are they, they're not just acquiring. They're not just acquiring the usdc. If they get everything, they get the whole infrastructure. They get everywhere they are, they own the rights to everything. You know, it changes, changes the, the whole strategy of what they're doing. Plus it goes retail. RL USD isn't necessarily achieving retail, you know, speed in terms of. Or, you know, not acquisition you see in there.
Chip
Jeff, what are you trying to say?
Jeff
I don't know what I'm trying to say. We're not, we're not seeing utility within the retail space of RL USD at the pace they probably needed to go. Whereas if you do an acquisition of Circle, you get the technology, you get the retail users, you get the platforms, you get the licensing, you just basically, they're basically buying everything whether, you know, they need USDC or not. But they'll get positioning. I'm going to be pretty impressive. Now they own basically what do you have? Tether and usdc, the two big ones. So now they own it. So it. I think it would be a major acquisition for them. It wouldn't be Tether, but Tether's the only. The counter.
Chip
Right, but.
Jeff
Right. So they would own USDC and on.
Chip
The 5th, 21, tether's not. Is going to be a non starter.
Jeff
Yeah, Tether is over.
Chip
You know, Tether is gone. I saw that when I, when I mentioned there were no kings. I saw the king. For some reason, the comment didn't show up here. But it showed up. He said, wait, what? No kings? The king's worried. There's no kings in the Yeti kingdom. There's only one king. That's, that's a nickname that we can call you King. Right. So that. There you go. Yeah. They would compete with usdt. But honestly, quite honestly, I think the usdt, I don't trust these audits they're supposedly having. I don't. It's all real. That doesn't seem above board. Like do an audit here in the United States and then that fit 21 is going to basically sort of eliminate them, at least in the States for the most part. So this was put out by Jack.
Jeff
Yeah, Jack McDonald is 50x soon.
Chip
Yeah, yeah, 50x. It'll more like minus 50x. Jack McDonald, who's the CEO of Custard Standard Custody, which he's also is the senior vice president of Stable coins over there at Ripple. But he, he was, you know, Standard Custody was one of their other acquisitions which I could see them cutting some big deals with banks, just the custody crypto, especially when start getting into that. But he said the March monthly independent attestation for the Ripple USD is live. Ripple USD is available on new exchanges including Kraken. Beautiful. And what I love too is the fact that, you know, I, I trust if I'm going to, let's say you get a really solid bull run, XRP hits 8 to $10 and then I'm on Kraken. I want to offload a little bit of that and just park it and some R.L. uSD for a little bit. You could do that. I mean that's really what I see as an investor. If something's riding high and you can kind of see it's going to be volatile, maybe you want to just park it there for a second. You're not withdrawn it, you just park in it. You're converting it to Ripple USD. So you're stabilizing it because guess what, it's always going to be a dollar. Sometimes it's 99.9 and sometimes it's the $1.2, whatever that's going to end up being. I like the fact that, that no matter what you can just park it there. Then if it goes down to four, you know, let's say it slides back down to $6. Well, great. You buy back in, you end up with more xrp. So that's one of the things you can do that before you had to use, you know, you had to use Tether, which I'm not a big Fan of Tether. I've never have been. But you had to park it somewhere else so it's giving you more options. He said we've also integrated our USD and the Ripple payments for selected customers. Plus we've announced the acquisition of Hidden Road, which will be Ripple USD as a collateral for its clients. Creating bridge between crypto and traditional finance. Yeah. All of a sudden it's like Ripple's been stewing in the background thinking of all these amazing things it can do. And once the lawsuits away, all of a sudden big acquisitions start happening. All kinds of stuff is there. So RL USD also being used in DeFi liquidity pools such as Ave and Curve Finance. As always, you can find the reports here. We're not going to go in the.
Jeff
Report today, but I have a question though.
Chip
Chip, what's up? Risking. Is it risking? Is it risking? Is it risking? Is it risking? See guys, you guys asked us to make. It's risky. Is it risky? No, it's not risk. Never risky. Anything investment. Well, RL USD is not risky because it's stable Coin. It's always going to be a dollar. Everything else, pretty damn risky.
Jeff
That means.
Chip
What was the other sound? But margaritas.
Jeff
We're gonna celebrate.
Chip
Got those soundbites. We haven't played them.
Jeff
We haven't even played them.
Chip
Oh my God. I was just thinking this. Of course you were. Guys, please hit the like button. Says reborn. John, please hit the like button. There's no cryptocurrency. It's not risky, is it? No, not at all. It's perfectly.
Jeff
It's not risky.
Chip
Risky. No, it's not risky at all. And I now you need to play the Brad Curling House 1. Should I invest in Tether? Jeff?
Jeff
What's that?
Chip
Should I invest in Tether? Holy. Like, let's not do that. That's a bad idea. I knew it. Garlinghouse said it was a bad idea. Don't do it.
Jeff
Yeah, I just bought too much tether.
Chip
There you go.
Jeff
How about Ethereum?
Chip
Ethereum. That was a great. That was. That was an awesome sort of a sound bite from Ethereum, wasn't it? Man.
Jeff
My God.
Chip
And some good news coming for XTC as well. So a couple good news on that front. So XTC network unlocks OmniChain interoperability with Layer 0 integration. And what this is going to do, it's going to be able to universal messaging protocol developers can now truly build Omnichain applications Integration lets smart contracts at XDC interact directly with dozens of other networks without relying on Wrapped tokens or centralized bridges which every. Which it has to do now. Super complicated. So with native interoperability across EVM and non EVM chain sub second, finality sub second. Jeff. It's pretty fast. Over 2000 transactions per second. Hello. XDC becomes one of the most seamless on ramps for inter network asset flows. So yeah, it was launched in 2019. XTC Network, a hybrid blockchain platform designed for global trade. And they're also getting heavily into real world asset tokenization, which is pretty amazing. So XDC's process, they processed over 6 million daily transactions, secured more than 3 million active accounts, powered upwards of 18000 smart contracts, transaction finality in 2 to 3 seconds and minimal gas fees. The recent XTC 2.0 upgrade added military grade security and subnet privacy features making it more appealing for regulated tokenization and defi. So there you go. It ranks number 61 by market. XD. XDC. That's what it's. That's what it's called. And telecom. We have three infrastructure and solutions. Jeff here, this is. I think it's a joint venture with T Mobile. Notice the logo. But it's based over in Germany. They put this out. Something's coming. A gathering of forces. Sounds like a new game, doesn't it Jeff? Sounds like the Badass Yeti game's coming. Something wicked this way comes. A gathering of forces. Enterprise Grays. Written in the future. And then play the Badass Yeti song. Badass.
Jeff
Oh man, I was a little slow on that one.
Chip
Yeah. Come on, Jeff. A gathering of horses. Enterprise grade. Written in the future. Future. Ton of common friends. First to enter the rear now. Watch closely. Welcome. Welcome to the Arena Network. You said we're turning into a badass Yeti's announcement. Something's coming. A gathering of forces. It does sound like one of our intro videos. It does actually, you know, something's coming. So here it is. Right.
Jeff
I made it really cool. We're still not done with it. Don't. Deutsche.
Chip
Deutsche Telecom Telecom joins the RWA Real world Asset focused, XTC infrastructure provider and digital asset push. The company already runs nodes on other blockchain networks, which is wild because they're moving to xtc. Right? If you think about. I'll show you where they're already. I'll tell you. They are. Yeah. So they're only so Ethereum, Polygon and Polka Dot. And now they're adding X, an XTC node, which is pretty awesome. German telecommunications giant Deutsche Telecom subsidiary announced on Thursday to expand Web3 servers the XDC network. You see so much of this news and that's why we're going to start reporting on xtc because there's so much great stuff coming out. And how this is only 7 cents is mind blowing. I mean, they have way more going on than other tokens that are, you know, higher priced than any.
Jeff
Yeah, I mean it's, it's impressive. You know, you really dig in to the, to the platform. These guys are going to be at consensus. Oh, it's in Toronto. Look at that.
Chip
Doing consensus.
Jeff
You can really get into it. RWA tokenization. It looks like they still have. Yeah, there's the old site. This is what it used to look like. I'm. I'm actually surprised that they kept the, the legacy site. They got all this cool stuff. What happened? How come? Oh, there it is. They kept all the legacy stuff.
Chip
To change it. Just to change it.
Jeff
I know, but this part looks.
Chip
You can close that little box in the corners maybe.
Jeff
It was always like this. I don't know.
Chip
The little advertisement in the corner there. Jeff, click that puppy closed. Yeah, but they're a consensus thing. We're attending. Who cares?
Jeff
These guys are so cool. I really like everything that, you know. So far they're focused on development for the future and the future is now, you know, but real world asset, real world, real world tokenization. Man, look at that. Their milestone. Five years. Five years they've been working on this stuff.
Chip
They've also. The other thing they've been doing too, which I think is great, is the fact that they've been signing a lot of agreements. There's a lot of stuff that happens like all the time, all these agreements, you know, partnerships. A lot of different things are going on. This interoperability thing is going to be massive, man. Massive.
Jeff
Yeah, we're going on year six chip. June 3rd that came out. This is awesome. Yeah, we definitely have to cover more XDC focused stuff where there's some excitement, some development, some building. Yeah, we'll start covering litecoin as well. I think it's going to have a resurgent. Be really excited.
Chip
Litecoin.
Jeff
Litecoin.
Chip
We'll do is. We'll have. We'll just do every other token out there and then we'll have a ticker at the bottom that gives the price for litecoin.
Jeff
So we can talk some litecoin.
Chip
So it can be like the media, Jeff. That's what we want to do.
Jeff
Oh, my God.
Chip
Because we want to be. We want to basically be like the media. Because if you're not going to be like the media, then. Then you're. If you can't be a losers like the media, then hell, the best thing about it is like the. Almost every media, no matter what it is, I see more stuff. Crypto idea does more uncovering of things that are going on than a lot of these. You know, if they were smart, they would just follow and then, you know, sort of copy, which they do that too. But it's incredible to see all the great research that gets done. It's not the media. They're always pumping some kind of a narrative. They have some kind of. Some kind of an angle that they're always trying to do. So this commercial right here, I saw this, Jeff. See if you can guess who this is. There it is like, you see? We're compliant now, Jeff.
Jeff
Now we're compliant.
Chip
Got to keep it up to date now. Litecoin 849. Oh, my God. Holy cow. All right. Turn that thing off. It's driving me insane.
Jeff
You shut this up. There we go.
Chip
Oh, God. I was like, is through going across the bottle like that. Holy cow.
Jeff
It should allow us to scroll anywhere. Put the box smaller, make it like it really should add multiple things.
Chip
I want to play this ticker. See if you can guess who put this out. I'm gonna try to stop it. This is for everybody out there. This was put out by a blockchain company. Now, if you already know, don't spoil it for the people that don't know. You can chime in if nobody gets it, but try to figure out which blockchain put this out. Because I think this is pretty good. It's a little bit long, but I think you'll enjoy it. I think you'll enjoy it. I think it's very clever. And we don't see clever stuff like this anymore. So let's watch this. Ready? There you go. That's right at the top. Never mind.
Jeff
Go there. Music speaker. So where can I get my badge?
Chip
I'm afraid you'll have to get in line, sir.
Jeff
These are all speakers. No, no, no, no. See, I'm a speaker on the main stage.
Chip
Oh, I'm so sorry, sir. My mistake. I didn't realize you were a main stage speaker. You'll have to join that.
Jeff
What's that line for?
Chip
That's for the attendees.
Jeff
Oh. So we are planning a token launch.
Chip
Oh, Predator.
Jeff
Oh, my God. Okay, but before we talk about the token, let me tell you about the.
Monica Long
Phenomenal tech powering our liquidation engines.
Jeff
Yeah. Oh, my God. I Meant engine engineering. Behind the tokenomics. Do we really care about prices?
Chip
Look at the vc.
Jeff
We all here for the tech and.
Monica Long
The airdrop, which is dedicated to the.
Chip
Tech and the community. What's our allocation?.00.
Jeff
Greg, what do you got there?
Chip
Oh, hey, There was just some free merch, man. Sorry. Pick up a couple.
Jeff
Okay, cool. See you, dude.
Chip
As he wheels off boxes. I truly believe that the tokenization of real world assets will bring the masses into. Into crypto. Crypto. If I could just add.
Jeff
Oh, my God.
Mark Carney
The masses will be brought into crypto.
Chip
By the tokenization of real world assets. Assets. I think we should consider the crypto will tokenize masses into the assets of real world.
Jeff
Real world. But let's not forget the assets bringing real world tokenization into crypto. It's.
Chip
It's. Wow. What stimulating conversation. Now let me open this up to the audience.
Jeff
Founders, are there any questions?
Chip
Founder has director. There it is.
Jeff
Oh, look at that.
Chip
Salana panels, new debates.
Jeff
Nice. Look at that. Look at that excitement.
Chip
Damn, that's pretty cool. That was really. Do you want to know where to.
Jeff
Invest a thousand dollars right now?
Chip
No.
Jeff
Nope.
Chip
I do not care. That was pretty good though, Jeff.
Jeff
That was freaking awesome. I love that I could sit through that all night.
Chip
Who's that line for? That's the attendees.
Jeff
What person?
Chip
That's like. When Jeff and I went to the Quantum Summit down in Cape Canaveral, we walked in, there was like a line of people there. And we walked in, there was like, nobody standing in front of the speaker line. We're like. We're speakers. Like, okay, here you go. Your badge. Done.
Jeff
In.
Chip
We got your name in. Out. Done.
Jeff
That was awesome.
Chip
What do we do? That was. That was easy. That was great. Super easy.
Jeff
They invited us to. We thought we were hosting a panel and we were going to introduce the two representatives from Arizona and they said, no, you guys are on the panel. We thought, we prepared questions, got everything set up to introduce, you know, we're.
Chip
Gonna be answering, you know. Oh, Chad was there. I was good. It was like a little bit of a surprise. We ended up doing another. We ended up doing another session as well based, you know, xrp talking about stuff like that, which was awesome.
Jeff
Yeah, that was a lot of fun.
Chip
It was. It was good. Who was. It was it. And, and. And who's the other? The senator from Mark.
Jeff
Senator from Arizona.
Chip
Come on, Chad, Jump in there. Chad will remember. He knows everything. He's from. He's from celebration. He knows what's going on.
Jeff
Celebrate good times.
Chip
But What a great. We said we'd invite them on the show, too. We got their business cards.
Jeff
We gotta reach out to them.
Chip
You know, when you get a business card from somebody in office, it feels something. It feels. It feels authentic, you know, and then.
Jeff
You'Re like, I should leave it up someplace.
Chip
Has an official look to it. And, Jeff, I don't know where the cards are, I'll be honest with you. But I did take pictures of them, so they're somewhere on my phone. I always take a picture because I.
Jeff
Joe, Bud brings up a good point. Whichever crypto gets the majority of RWA is going to crush it first. Mover. I think that's where XDC is fighting for it, you know, so, you know, it'll be interesting to see how, you know, how they attack that. You know, who else is going for a real world asset?
Chip
Is it xrp?
Jeff
Litecoin.
Chip
Oh, Litecoin. Jesus. On the bottom.
Jeff
God, it hasn't budged. So I wrote a song about it.
Chip
Litecoin.
Jeff
No, but. So I was. I was putting together the video for tonight, and then I decided to put a little bit of a spin on the audio. So I. I want to. Let me know what you think about this one. It's not with the video. It's just kind of a standalone, you know, audio. But check this out.
Chip
One Legacy. The Spirit Walkers. No masters, no mas. Bound by stars, guided by silence.
Jeff
You think?
Chip
Who knew? They've been around that long.
Jeff
They've been around forever, man. They're the. They are the. The badass Yetis living in the Himalayas. Been around a long time talking about that. Himalayas. Talk about that. Take a quick commercial break because let's.
Chip
Do that that time. Cue it up. Let's go.
Jeff
Here we go. Here we go.
Chip
7Cl legacy. The spirit Walkers. No masters, no maps. Bound by stars, Guided by silence. They don't follow. They vanish and return. Whispers in wind Shadows of fate from the ash and I they rise Heaven for walks in fear the forgotten awaken. Spirit Walkers. Unseen, unbound, unmatched. Have more, have more, have more of the Spirit Walkers. Blue Tribe. Claim yours or be forgotten on the Chain. Wow, I felt like that went on for another hour. It keeps going on the Chain. There you go. Come on. What other podcast gives away an NFT on every show and has an original song? There's nobody. And who has cool NFTs like on the Chain? Nobody. They're all. What do you call it? New. But I heard Yeti draw is a rig job. You know, Pete, you're not that New. Apparently. Apparently you're been around to block her off a little bit. It's a rig job. Some refer to it as a rug pull. So, no, it's not a rug pull, but it's a rig job. You know, we know you've been around the block a little bit. You feel like you're part of the mob now. Yeah, you're all part of the mob. The OTC mob. It's been around a long time. It got Whispers and windows. They got a lot. It's so racist. King, who's. Who's a former winner. Rig job. Rig. It's a rig job. It's rigged.
Jeff
It's almost stogie time.
Chip
It's funny, the person that wins doesn't think it's rigged, though. It's not weird. That person's the only one that doesn't who previously thought it was a rig pull.
Jeff
There you go.
Chip
A rig pull is more appropriate, for sure. Yeah.
Jeff
Oh, my God.
Chip
And Art, I did get your email. I did mean to respond, but thank you for reminding me. I was like, oh, Art sent an email. I meant to respond. I started responding, but you know what happens? You get squirrel and then you're off to something else. But the unrealized yetis. There he is, right there.
Jeff
That's right. It is rigged.
Chip
Well, some. Sometimes it is rigged. If we were. And then you're like, that sounds weird. There's only 14 people entered, which is really odd.
Jeff
That's strange.
Chip
I've got to say. It's a very odd thing for sure. Got our original tunes cranked up. Yeah, we're good.
Jeff
All right, now it's time to get serious. This is.
Chip
Why would we get serious now? There's no reason. Is it. Is it risky? Is it risky? No, not at all. So Trump did this interview with abc. I forget this reporter's name. He's a total D bag. But anyway, I thought it was good because does Trump. You know the funny thing about when you're in your first term? You're like, you know, you're going to be kind of cool. Trump gives zero Fs these days. He doesn't care. He says whatever's on his mind. He's funny as hell. But anyway, these are all trying to gotcha questions in the Oval Office. Let's try to get the President. Let's. Let's try to make up a story. Let's get. And respond. And what do you think about this? But here's some of the little short clips from the interview. Here we go.
Brad Garlinghouse
Sking the justification. For going after people you don't like? No, no. People that I think are dishonest. It's not that I don't, I don't even know most of them. They have people that. I think people made you angry. It's not anger. These are people that I think are very dishonest. I don't think they're worthy of being able to go into top secret information. I think that's fine. And Biden did that with many of our people. But when you look at it, these are people that I don't think are worthy of. That's my decision issue. It's not a question of anger.
Chip
I should have anger. You see how he's trying to, like, you know, create these, these constructs. You're angry, you know what, because you're angry. No, man. Oh, hell. You know, why should you get top secret info? Here's another one.
Brad Garlinghouse
The reputation of the United States has gone down under your presidency. I know. I think it's gone way.
Chip
I mean, look at that gotcha question. Do you think this day. They asked that 100 times in the last one. I mean, what do you think's happening on the world stage? You think every country is showing up to try to do a deal about the tariffs? You think everybody's got Trump on their mind? Or you think they're just, oh, hapless Biden was in office. Do you think the reputation of the.
Brad Garlinghouse
United States has gone down under your presidency? No, I think it's gone way up. And I think we're a respected country again. We were left at all over the world. We had a president that couldn't walk up a flight of stairs, couldn't. Couldn't walk down a flight of stairs, couldn't walk across the stage without falling. We had a president that was grossly incompetent. You knew it, I knew it, and everybody knew it, but you guys didn't want to write it because you're fake news. All right, thank you. By the way, ABC is one of the worst.
Jeff
Thank you. Imagine you just smack down.
Chip
What's funny is he has to say thank you because he can't, like, show because otherwise he's going to just end the interview. Because you're one of the worst. Who. I mean, this is phenomenal.
Brad Garlinghouse
Write it because you're fake news. All right, thank you. By the way, ABC is one of the worst. I have to be honest with you. Thank you.
Chip
ABC is one of the. Well, it is one of the worst. Hard to tell NBC, they're all pretty bad. And this one is my favorite one, Jeff, watch this one.
Brad Garlinghouse
The fighting. Don't you think he wants. You think Vladimir Putin wants peace? I think he does, yes. I think he still does.
Jeff
I think even with the reigning.
Brad Garlinghouse
I think he really. His, His. His dream was to take over the whole country. I think because of me, he's not going to do that.
Chip
Do you trust.
Brad Garlinghouse
I think, do you trust him? I don't trust you. I don't trust. I don't trust a lot of people. I don't trust you. Look at you. You come in all shooting for Bear. You're so happy to do the interview, and then you start hitting me with fake questions. He start telling me that a guy whose hand is.
Chip
Trust him. I don't trust you.
Jeff
I'm like, I don't.
Brad Garlinghouse
I don't trust him.
Jeff
I don't think.
Brad Garlinghouse
Do you trust him? I don't trust you. I don't trust. I don't trust a lot of people. I don't trust you. Look, come in all shooting for Bear. You're so happy to do the interview, and then you start hitting me with fake questions. You start telling me that a guy whose hand is covered with a tattoo doesn't have the tattoo, you know, all right. I mean, you're being dishonest.
Chip
No, I'm not.
Jeff
Let me do.
Brad Garlinghouse
I trust. I don't trust a lot of people, but I do think this. I think that he. Let's say he respects me, and I believe because of me, he's not going to take over the whole. But his decision, his choice would be to take over all of Ukraine. It's a war that never should have happened.
Chip
Amazing. I don't trust you. Like, who would say that to a reporter? Charlie Trump. I don't trust you.
Jeff
That was awesome.
Chip
He laughed.
Jeff
I don't trust you. That's a good sound bite, actually.
Chip
I don't trust you. I don't trust you. Gotta rip that one, Jeff.
Jeff
Imagine how many times we can use that one.
Chip
I don't trust you. Notice someone's talking anytime the Democrats talk. I don't trust you. I don't trust you. You. Was it clean? I think it was clean, too, wasn't it?
Jeff
I think it was. It wasn't over talking.
Chip
Yeah, because that's part of the other problem we have with this stuff. Sometimes it's not clean. You know, that's. That kind of creates. Jeff, this story was just put out shortly after there. This. It was the same reporter. He. He had this to say here. Said the media says there's no evidence. A demon horned man with Sith tattoos and red lightsaber is a member of the Sith. So you got to give the Babylon B credit. They never miss. There's no evidence. Man with Sith tattoos. A Sith tattoos all over his forehead with these horns coming out. There's no way in a lightsaber. There's no way he's a member of the Siths. But just goes to show the idiot it is idiocy of the media. This is one of the biggest D bags out there. I like when he put him down. He's like, thank you. Thank you for the beat down. I appreciate it. Thank you.
Jeff
Thank you for inviting me here. Thank you.
Chip
Jackass. I really appreciate. Really, I really appreciate the beat down. Can I have another, please? Marco was pretty funny today, I have to say. So they had the cabinet meeting. Marco was. A lot of the sound bites were from Marco Rubio. I mean, it's a long way from being what he used to call him. Little Marco. Isn't that what is what his nickname was in the first, when he was running against him. He called him Little Marco. But here's Marco Rubio responding to Marco Ruby is not taking jack shit either. Look at this. Secretary Rubio, can I ask you a question? You brought up El Salvador in your remarks. Have you been in touch with El Salvador about returning Abrego Garcia? Has a formal request from this administration been made?
Marco Rubio
Well, I would never tell you that. And you know who else I'll never tell?
Chip
A judge.
Marco Rubio
Because the conduct of our foreign policy belongs to the President of the United States and the executive branch, not some judge. So we will conduct foreign policy appropriately if we need to, but I'll never discuss it. And no one will ever make us discuss it, because that's how foreign policy works.
Chip
Look at. You can see his face getting mad. Watch. Watch. He goes from being normal so he can see where the question's going. Yeah. His face gets mad and he starts punching. Throat punching. Right here. You know, I'm not going to tell. I'm not going to tell you or the judge. Abrego Garcia has a formal request. They've beaten this horse to death, Jeff. They've. The horse is dead, right? They. What did they say? Is. Are you bringing Alfredo Garcia back to the States? No. This. They've said this 100 times. They have to keep bringing it up because the fake, fake news media. And look at him now. He takes it. Look at. Look at the meanness. And he's about ready to punch that report. This administration Been made.
Marco Rubio
Well, I would never tell you that. And you know who else I'll never tell?
Chip
A judge.
Marco Rubio
Because the conduct of our foreign policy belongs to the President of the United States and the executive branch, not some judge.
Chip
So appropriately. Look, he's just like, Marco's not. Marco's like, he's a. He's a pretty damn good. Turned out to be a great Secretary of State. Man, I gotta give him some credit. Here's another one day's end, man. Another sound bite.
Marco Rubio
This table to some at some level.
Chip
And I hate when the volume's low.
Marco Rubio
But because of Secretary Kennedy, I'm afraid to eat anything. So.
Chip
He said, tootsie Rolls are okay in moderation. That's funny. It's. Everyone's like, put that down. Oh, I think about that sometimes, too, you know, like, people have taped his picture the inside of the refrigerator. Because they're just like, yeah, maybe I shouldn't do it. Because, you know, he's. What are you doing in the refrigerator? Get out. I will beat your ass.
Jeff
But it really should go in your cupboard.
Chip
Yeah.
Jeff
I want some crackers in your face.
Marco Rubio
But. But it's a great team. And here's the second. And I tell this to people all the time. This is incredibly rewarding service. And you hear it in everyone's voices, traditionally in the past. And it's one of the problems we got in as a country is presidents would say, okay, let's go do something. And then they would have to do a study and then a study on the study, and then a long internal deliberative process. And by the time you got to it, it was too late, or somebody had forgotten it. In this administration, it's moving you. You know the direction because you know why you were elected.
Chip
Yeah, that's right. You know exactly why it's moving. But he brings up a good point. Look what was accomplished in 100 days. And then there's people on the right like, nothing's happening. Where are the arrests? I'm so pissed. This sucks. Meanwhile, the most was a great second.
Jeff
Or states it.
Chip
Oh, well, that's debatable. Pete. Was she. Margaritas. Jeez. And then there was this one from Rubio, which is a little. Came as a little bit of a shock. Listen to this thing else we got.
Marco Rubio
Out of the business of why it wasn't widely reported. Or maybe it was. We had a depart. We had an office in the Department of State whose job it was to censor Americans. And by the way, I'm not going to say who it is. I'LL leave it up to them. There's at least one person at this table today who had a dossier in that building of social media posts to identify them as purveyors of disinformation. We have these dossiers. We are going to be turning those over to these individuals.
Chip
Jds, was it me or Elon? JD Wants to know. Oh, my God, this is a cabinet meeting. It's broadcast to everybody. Jeff, there's no behind, you know, we could fall off with the media.
Marco Rubio
Well, we are going to turn over these dossiers to the individuals and they'll decide whether they want to disclose it or not. But just think about the Department of State of the United States had set up an office to, to monitor the social media post and commentary of American citizens, to identify them as vectors of disinformation when we know that the best way to combat disinformation is freedom of speech and transparency.
Chip
And Jeff, you remember when we used to joke on the show, we used to talk about the Ministry of Truth, right? We like that they set up the Ministry of Truth and we're like, no. And then they started like that, went around on the Internet and people like, no, it's not them. And meanwhile they did, they called it something else. I remember when they announced that everyone's like, oh, it's the Ministry of truth from 1984, you know, but yeah, this is. But Rubio was pretty impressive. I have to give him some credit, man. But you knew who else was there. Elon Musk was there as well. Let's see if I can find his song Bite.
Jeff
He has a short, by the way. Panthers, 3 to 3. It's tied against Tampa Bay, which is a little scary because they've been running, obviously. See this scores here. But three, three tied up game five, man, you better win.
Chip
Yeah, they should win.
Jeff
Three to one.
Brad Garlinghouse
I love the double hat.
Chip
Elon Musk. For a podcast, audio listeners, he is. He's wearing two hats and there's a black hat and there's a red hat on top. It says the Gulf of America. Trump says he loves the hat.
Brad Garlinghouse
Elon, I love the double hat, but he's the only one that can do that, get away with it.
Chip
Well, Mr. President, now they say I.
Mark Carney
Wear a lot of hats.
Chip
Even my hat has a hat. I mean, this is the most light hearted. I mean, there's so much fun going on right now. I mean there was never that much fun in politics. His best pal is Elon Musk and he's got that little X is Always, you know, running around with him. You gotta, you just gotta love it, Jeff. It's something. It's a lot of fun, man. It's a, it's a, It's a lot of fun. So I got some other. Let's see what else we have here. Yeah. And Risky Richard Grinnell made this statement. You know, Richard Grinnell, listen to this.
Monica Long
I've talked to President Trump about this, and I think the reality is that if Kamala Harris runs for governor because we've spent a billion dollars defining her as stupid and people believe it because of her own words, if she runs, I think Republicans have to rethink the fact that we have a shot.
Chip
Yes.
Monica Long
If she runs, I would have to look at it.
Chip
Yeah. Imagine Grinnell getting in the race for governor.
Monica Long
In my mind, it just changes the calculus. Suddenly, having the fact that we're behind, behind on voter registration may not be the only mathematical equation.
Chip
That's true.
Monica Long
And so if she runs, I'm going to take a hard look at it.
Chip
I'd love to see Grinnell run for that seat.
Jeff
Oh, could you imagine?
Chip
That'd be great. I, I honest to God, I hope she runs. I really do. I really. That is just fantastic. People are going to come to expect that now, Jeff.
Jeff
I know.
Chip
Here's J.D. vance in that cabinet meeting, too, talking about Trump.
Mark Carney
Mr. President, thank you, and thanks to the Cabinet. So, at the risk of insulting everybody else at the table, I believe that I am the youngest member sitting at the table.
Chip
And what I like about this is everybody comes with their maga. Let's look at the Gulf of America hats. Look at them. They're probably distributed. So they all got a Gulf of America hat.
Jeff
Gotta have Golf of America.
Chip
They're all sitting on the table. That's funny.
Mark Carney
You know, it occurred to me that from the time that I was born to the time that Donald J. Trump was inaugurated just a few months ago, we went from again 40 years. We went from the world's manufacturing superpower to one in which we depend on the People's Republic of China to make the things that we need. We went from the proudest military in the world to one in which we failed to meet our recruiting goals. And we went from one in which bipartisan border policies was the consensus of both Democrats and Republicans to one in which we allowed 20 million people to run roughshod illegally over the countryside, causing crime, causing a stress in the welfare system. And again, that happened over the lifetime of the youngest member of the Cabinet. And what has happened in 100 days is that we started to reverse every single one of those negative trends.
Chip
And I think we.
Mark Carney
What it shows to me is that the President and you sit in the Oval Office and you see these portraits of presidents past. And let's be honest, most of them have been placeholders. They've been people who have allowed their staff to sign executive orders with an auto pin instead of men of action. And the reason the media attacks this administration as chaotic is because the President is solving the problems the American people set about to solve. He's actually doing the things that he promised that he would do. And Mr. President, it's been an honor to be part of it for the past 100 days. And let me just make one other observation because it's interesting. I've seen the data, I've monitored it, I've looked at it. But the most under reported fact of the first 100 days is that we came in with a massive recruitment shortfall. And in 100 days of Secretary Hegseth and President Trump's leadership, we now have people breaking down the doors to join our military. To the media assembled here, it's a really interesting question. Why has that happened? Completely aside from the fact that I think it's a good thing or I think that President Trump deserves political credit for it, why did we go from a military where people didn't want to serve to now all of a sudden they do want to serve? That's something you guys should cover. But Governor, compared to that, how much time have you instead focused on the fact that we deported an MS.13 gang member with a valid deportation order? And why is it that the press is so focused on the fake BS rather than what's really going on in the country? I think that what we've shown, sir, is that you can do a lot, you can do a lot in 100 days. But you've also unfortunately revealed that too much of the American media hasn't learned the lesson lessons of the past 40 years.
Chip
Thank you, sir.
Brad Garlinghouse
Thank you.
Chip
This is great. What a great beat down on the press, Jeff. He's like, why haven't they. Because they're the, the Democrat mouthpiece. That's why they don't report on any good stories. Eggs prices went down the first six weeks. Egg prices. Egg prices. And then the egg prices went down. And then what happened? I don't know. Something happened to Jeff. He's like, he's gone from the green room and everything. And then it was, then it was like, now we have Elizabeth Warren who's posting all the Time. The president promised that this would happen. He absolutely promised. And what's weird about that is like, yeah, it's. We're. We. Sometimes people forget we're 100 days in four years of Biden. Massive inflation. Right. If you have two negative quarters of GDP growth, what ends up happening? Well, that's called a recession. But they didn't call it recession. No, no. I just changed the rules. If you change the definition of things and you can kind of get away with it, which is what they were saying. Now they're trying to bring out a recession or trying to keep the interest rates high, when all indications show that the interest rates the Fed should lower. But, you know, you've got Powell there. That's another, you know, Democrat mouthpiece who wants to just, you know, punish his president. It's so weird that they're fighting so damn hard against the American people, really. I mean, when it comes down to the immigration, I'm just. I'm at a loss. So when I saw happen in Canada, it was a little bit disheartening because I. I just didn't think it would go that way. However, there's a couple people had some commentary on that. Let's start off with this guy here. He's got an interesting take.
Pierre Poliev
Losing his writing just never sat well with me. He's held it for 20 years.
Chip
So Pierre Palia, in addition to not becoming prime minister, but he lost his seat that he's held for 20 years. So this guy's gonna tell you, give you his sort of thought process on this.
Pierre Poliev
So I decided to do some digging. Watch this. As many of you know, Pierre Poliev has held his writing of Carlton for nearly 20 years. He was just recently beaten. And this is what his writing looks like. This is Carlton. And as you can see, it wraps around this area around there. I'll move my head out of the way. I want you to see the full area of Carlton. And this is from the Elections Canada website. His area, the region that I just showed you, it didn't look like that. In fact, in all of the other elections, it looked like this. It never had this area. Remember that? This area right here, that's brand new. I'm going to shrink myself down to size. So you can see that new area that was integrated with his. This is what it looked like in 2021 when they had the 44th election. And I'm going to explain all this red in just a second. And it's all going to make sense. So Pierre's area, labeled as number 88 over here. That's what he had the whole time before it was integrated with this. And everything I'm taking is publicly available, so check it yourself. But this is how much he won last time, a 15% margin. Just to remind you, that's the area that he used to represent before that came into the picture in 2023. Yes, the adjustment was done recently. Let me put it to you this way. Pierre Poliev's writing, which had always been conservative and he held for 20 years, was merged with a heavy liberal region, an area altogether that had grown by nearly 50% due to immigration. That's going to be important why Watch this now. This is where we get to the good part. Did you know that nearly 93% of all immigrants move into one of Canada's 44 census metropolitan areas? And I know this is talking about non permanent residents as well, which is also calculated is very similar percentage, which is almost the 93%. But when you have that, that's why metropolitan areas like Ottawa, the whole greater Toronto area includes Burlington, Oakville. Milton's getting there too. Look at Hamilton. And I know this says Hamilton here, but this is the outskirts of Hamilton. That's the city core. And let's not forget Montreal. All red. And the same holds true for all of metro Vancouver. Take it from an immigrant. When immigrants move into the country, they generally vote Liberal because that's the same party that offered social assistance. It's the same party that pays them each month more than Canadians get in old age security. They are now giving them free health care. They are able to stay at four star hotels. They get access to the same child benefit as you have as Canadians who've paid taxes your whole life, sorry, your whole working life. Roughly $7,000 per child per year. Child of three gives you over $21,000. Depending on their age, it might even be more. We are talking about more money than they would ever earn or save in their lifetime in one or two years. And I know what you're thinking. These are immigrants, they're not actual Canadian citizens. In the 90s, Canada was affordable, so nearly 75%. This is called the naturalization rate. The percentage of immigrants that come into Canada that then become citizens. Right now it's at about 45%. We've seen a massive 30% drop because of how unaffordable the countries become under liberal policies. And that's why out in the Atlantic you see a lot of red, more permanent immigrants heading for the Maritimes. And let's not forget that Canada grew by a record 1 million people solely from immigration. And we did it in under just nine months. That's how we were able to hit a population of 41 million. And this article was from back in March 2024, using 2023 data. A similar thing happened in 2022, 2021, to the point where the immigration minister said Canada should have acted sooner on migration. And guess what? As an immigrant myself, I'm going to say the quiet part out loud. The Liberal Party is importing voters. Here's an example of something that should be questioned.
Chip
Sounds like they're taking a page right of the Democrat playbook.
Pierre Poliev
The Maritime Provinces, the ones where all the immigrants are headed to and experiencing record growth. Is it that they have 2.4 million people and have 32 federal seats? Alberta has almost double. Not quite, but almost. They only have five more seats. Why don't they have 60? Each voter in Atlanta. Canada has 55% more representation than Ann Albertan. Take a guess which one's liberal and which one's Conservative. My friends, there's always more to the story. This is what Pierre had. This is what he was given in this election. Why else do you think that Mark Carney launched his bid in Edmonton, this was back in January, to become the next prime minister and take over for Trudeau. He did it there because that's where he was raised. That's where he grew up. But remember, his riding was not there because he was at risk and he knew that. And where was Mark Carney's riding? It was right beside Pierre Poliev's in Nepean. The red zone. My friends, these things do not happen by accident. Let me remind you. How did Carney get his seat? They kicked out a sitting member of Parliament, Chandra. They revoked his ability to re enter nomination so Carney could have a safe seat. There's always more to the story. One, two, I promise you.
Jeff
Can you hear me?
Pierre Poliev
Won't see this on tv. You won't see this on the news. Share this, share this with everyone you know because my friends don't hear us is the truth.
Chip
I'm gonna have to take. I'm gonna have to remove you if you don't hear. I can't hear you. That's because you're on. That's because you're on an Android. If you're on. If you're on a. If you're on an Apple device. See, I can make fun of him all day. He doesn't know what I'm saying.
Jeff
See?
Chip
So let me take them on For a second and we'll go ahead and continue with the broadcast. So it's funny because Alberta, if you think about the 51st state maybe Alberta will become because they're looking to secede. They've done this before. They haven't been happy. They've got a great Daniel Smith who is fantastic, who's their premiere. And I wanted to just show this story here. So Daniel Smith just slashed a number of signatures needed to trigger an Alberta independence referendum. Alberta is right over, let's say. What is it over? Montana, I believe it's the second province from the, from the ocean, from. Let me see. Jeff, can you see if we pull them in here? Can you hear us now, Jeff?
Jeff
It's not working.
Chip
Yep, not working. So there you go. So it used to be 600, 000 signature. She put it down to 177, 000. Do you think that she's looking for a particular result here? Plus 120 days to collect them. That's up from 90. It was usually 90 days for 600000 signatures. Now 177, 000 for 120. Mark Carney woke up a sleeping giant. Alberta is done with Ottawa and she ain't playing. So I think that's really interesting. Now if you think about Alberta, Alberta has basically, I would say like 90% of the natural resource, especially with oil. Think of Alberta as Texas. Right. So all the refining and stuff and they're. I saw where Danielle Smith was saying that she believes that the reason they elected Mark Carney is because he wants to do more with energy. And I think it's going to be just the opposite. I think they're gonna, it's gonna be very much like how Biden was, but everybody has to go through that. I, I suspect some funny business happened with this particular election. Can't be sure of it, but something seems a little bit off and people are blaming Trump. Here's, here's Danielle Smith. Here she is talking and got some interesting words here. Well, what is your, what is your reaction to that?
Danielle Smith
Well, I think Albertans are hurt and betrayed. That's how I think Albertans are feeling. I think Canada as a whole got a sense of that feeling of hurt and betrayal with the way the Americans are treating us right now. But we're being treated, we've been treated that way for the last 10 years. Treated like our interests don't matter, treated like our economic imperatives aren't important. Treated like we should be just shut up and just be satisfied with whatever the central government decides to do regardless of whether it's constitutional or not. I think that's what you were seeing in this last election. And I think Albertans want, share my view that we want to be able to have Alberta sovereignty within a united Canada. But we also would like to see Team Canada be on Team Alberta for once. And that's what when I say I live in hope that that's going to happen, it hasn't happened for the last 10 years. And so that's part of the reason why I think Albertans are frustrated. I think that they were hoping for a big change and they didn't get it last night. So I'm going to do what I can to work with the current government, as I always have, to find areas of common agreement and to try to address those things that have been caused, causing some of that, that feeling of betrayal and hurt and, and hopefully we'll be able to forge a, a stronger approach with the, with the, our federal, our fellow premiers and a recognition from the federal government that they've got to honor the constitutional third.
Chip
Jeff was answering the phone there. I was trying to put him on, but he's answering the phone. That looked like a dial up phone right there.
Jeff
Chip, can you hear me?
Chip
Do you hear now?
Jeff
Yeah, I'm talking to you through the phone.
Chip
You dialed in, dude. Yeah, but not on that phone though. I was like, God, that's not dialed in. Yeah, okay, good deal. I hear you fine, dude. You dialed in through your phone. That's funny. You dialed into your phone. I was like. When you said hello, I thought you were really picking up a call. I was like, oh my God. I was like, holy. What? Holy cow. What happened? My God, what's going on here? So your Internet went out, basically, is what happened.
Jeff
The Internet is out, man.
Chip
And I was talking to you earlier and the video went out. That was kind of a weird thing where it, you know, kind of. But listen, this is, this is Mark Carney and he's got. Some people think that Trudeau is bad. They're in for a whole world of hurt if you think Trudeau is bad. Trudeau's mild compared to Carney. We flying less now. We should be taking into account the impact of our flying on the planet now. And that's pushing up the tax on flying.
Pierre Poliev
You push up the tax on flying.
Chip
You push up the cost on transport.
Pierre Poliev
And that's in part what putting a.
Chip
Price on carbon is. So how he wants. She's one of those wackadoodles, Jeff. So he believes that you're gonna now to fly anywhere out of Canada. He's gonna push the tax up, run transport, which means he's probably gonna put a lot of tax on the gasoline. And he's going to create another world of hurt for Canadians. Canadians are good people. They don't need this. They quite honestly don't. It's insane. Jeff, what do you think about that?
Jeff
I feel sorry for Canada, but I think we're gonna start seeing some fallout. I think there'll be a massive brain drain out of Canada. I think, you know, the. Those with money and smarts will leave Canada, come down here if they can, especially if we allow it. You know, they're moving rapidly into not just their socialist state, but they're going to the worst part of their socialist state. It's being. It's very evident. And unfortunately, we have to close that board, you know.
Chip
Yeah. For sure.
Jeff
It's not, you know, it's not a good thing. If they continue spiraling down this path, you know, the people I would think would rise up and finally say, you know, after four terms of liberalism in Canada, they've had enough. I can't imagine what it's going to do to industry over there. You know, if Alberta decides that they're done, you know, they'll become the 51st state right off of Montana. You know, it's kind of a, you know, perfect scenario, you know, for, you know, for u. S. Relations. So that'll rest of Canada kind of goes by the wayside. I don't know what happens when they might. When they start moving in such a rapid direction. Real estate prices are already outrageous in Canada, you know, price of goods and things like that. I always enjoyed going to Canada from Detroit, go over there. We go to Windsor all the time for lunch, for dinner. You get over there in like 30 minutes and go out and, you know, it's always pleasant going to. Toronto used to be one of my favorite cities, and I haven't been to Canada in quite some time. So, you know, can't really. Can't really say.
Chip
It says your al die up as clear as a belt.
Jeff
That's right. I'm gonna put. I need to get a modem. I'm gonna dial in.
Chip
Well, we need that. We need that one too. Remember, it took like four all kinds of weird styles to connect. And I'm not so sure if the Canadians didn't vote Carney out. I mean, I. I saw another video where two ladies were standing outside with giant bags of ballots and the guy's like, what are you doing with that? They were. Have you seen that, Jeff? Were there?
Jeff
Yeah, yeah, I saw that.
Chip
I don't know what it's from and I couldn't verify where it was from. So I don't want to put stuff up that could be misleading. And who knows if that was, you know, I don't know if that was real. But here's what's going on in Minnesota. Jeff, listen to this. I'll just play a little clip of this.
Monica Long
Representative Isaac Schultz. I Represent House District 10B in Central Minnesota and I am the chief author of House File 10, which is the bill to eliminate the taxpayer supports for illegal immigrants here in Minnesota. And the information that was just provided to you just enunciates the point as to why it's so important that we stop funding more benefits for people who came here illegally. We are seeing the costs increase. And the last time that I stood before you talking about this very problem, I talked about how this would make Minnesota a magnet for more illegal immigrants. Let me just ask you a question right now. If I went to Russia, would I be expecting to get the sorts of benefits that Minnesota taxpayers are giving to people who are here illegally? Illegal immigrants in Minnesota in 2025, with Minnesota care and access to Minnesota Care will be given $7,000 worth of benefits. That's right. Illegal immigrants are given $7,000 per person in the form of Minnesota Care benefits here in Minnesota paid for by Minnesota taxpayers.
Chip
It's insane. So this guy wrote a bill, sort of curved. I don't think that's going anywhere. But you know, this is what's really crazy. I mean, there's only one reason, the voting base. If you're not going to care so much about people, you're not going to get 5,000 Social Security numbers and approve them and fast track them so they don't have to go through the court system, which takes seven, eight, nine years. This is the only reason you do it, Jeff. Right? To just. You have your voter base. That's it. And they were getting licenses and they were voting. That's why you don't want voter id, because you're done. You don't win any more elections. I mean, I think like that's undermined the system.
Jeff
They undermine the system. Everybody knew it. It was very obvious. Even with the whole mail in ballot fraud. Unfortunately, Florida adopted it. They renew the application for the mail in ballot every year. But the only way it was accurate was when it was a true mail in ballot, when it was an absentee ballot. You had to go to the courthouse, you had to bring forms of id, you had to bring a passport, driver's license, proof of residence, proof of address, proof of. He had to present all this and he had to have it notarized. So now you're bringing all this, all these goods. Now all of a sudden it's like, now we're just going to send you something in the mail. You fill it up, send it back, or you can do it online. And now you're registered to vote. You know, I don't know. I don't know that I like that. I like the absentee ballot methodology. I think that was the way to go. Otherwise, you know, go to the voting polls in vogue, you know, I mean, that's, you know, how it was meant to be. But they were always shenanigans. Even back when they had to pull down ballots, they said what they would do is collect them up and they would just bring them to a warehouse. People used to. There was a whole book written about, you know, the voting system when they would do the pull down that they weren't tabulating. They were going into the truck, they would follow them. They were supposed to bring them to be tabulated. At the end, they would end up in a warehouse and the trucks would just sit there and they would watch the trucks all night. No one ever came, no one ever emptied up, no one ever opened up. So there have been shenanigans going on in the voting.
Chip
Shenanigans. Downright fraud is what you're talking about. Pete Hendricks says we have to fight now for the 2026 midterms, which the Devils will try to steal. Well, why do you think there's such delay with any. You know, when you hear Trump talking about Elon, like, where is that money going to? I wonder if there's kickbacks. Oh, they already know where the kickbacks are going. And where's that Epstein list? Geez, it'd probably be a wrong time to pull that out now. You might want to wait until early 2026 when the election's going and maybe you're into March. You start dripping this out, drip, drip, drip starts coming out, you start seeing all these. Because you're already starting to see Dems retire. I wonder why all of a sudden people like Dick Durbin that have been there forever, he's like, well, I'm gonna take a look. And everybody. There's another somebody else that is going to resign. They're retiring. You're going to see them drop like flies. And there won't be Enough time to replace them and who's going to want to elect them. If you think what happened in 2024 was big, wait till you see what happens in 2026. I have a feeling it's going to be bad. And the reason that what showed me and tipped the hat that way is what the. Wisconsin had an election for a Supreme Court seat and Trump only put out on True Social. Even though he lost the seat. They redistrict it again. You want to call it shenanigans, Jeff, Call it whatever you want. There are a lot of anomalies with that election, too. But Trump celebrated. He didn't say, well, we took a tough loss. He celebrated the fact that they voted for voter ID because that is the prize. That's. You're not going to worry about the Supreme Court when all of a sudden these, all of these politicians. There's going to be a lot of rhino Republicans on that side, too, that are going to get marched out there. You're going to see it. That's right. Real ID now required to fly. But anyone can vote. Exactly. But that's going to change, too. There is a bill passed. Jeff, you remember that weird that that dude from that filed the impeachment papers we were talking about? He's from Michigan.
Jeff
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Chip
So he was. So here is him and Trump.
Jeff
You. You bloody, bloody bastard. Bloody. You bloody.
Brad Garlinghouse
I wrote on. Know what he said at the end of that sentence? I don't think he knows what he said either.
Chip
Man. I'll tell you what, who, who puts these things together? And Jeff, every once in a while, you know, you're just scrolling around X and all of a sudden something comes up and you don't know what to do with it. And so the first. My first. And I was like, what do I do? Like, I had to see it. So now everybody else has to see this stupid video and it has nothing to do with anything we ever talk about. It's just the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. So now you guys are gonna have to suffer through it. Ready? Here we go. Then we'll do the badass YETI drawing. Here we go.
Jeff
There goes the crackhead that I see each morning.
Chip
If you're looking for trouble, you came to the right place. Everybody look at the snow in the yad.
Jeff
Oh, my God.
Chip
You know, when you showed me up, you put some of the stuffing in the wrong places. So I'm. I'm a little up. But when you take care of me forever and ever, I don't know I don't know what the purpose of that video is. I don't know why I said.
Jeff
It's hilarious, though.
Chip
It's ridiculous when you put this. So if you're listening on the podcast, a bunch of horses that they made up, these voices and singing, you know, the horses make those weird faces, basically. But, yeah, it's a very strange thing. So we can't even play the commercial, can I? I don't even have it anymore.
Jeff
No.
Chip
Damn you and your damn. What happened with your. What? Internet went down.
Jeff
My whole Internet. The Comcast.
Chip
You don't have redundancy. Don't you have. Don't you have AT T fiber in your area? We have.
Jeff
No, no, we do. We don't have it.
Chip
Dude, you got to get it for redundancy.
Jeff
Dude, why would I have two?
Chip
I have two.
Jeff
Oh, just.
Chip
Because when you're. When you work from home, you can guarantee you're basically dead in the water. And so you need one that's going to be up. I remember one time, Comcast put a service notice out. We'll be down from 8 till 5, and I'm like, dude, that's when people work. Why would you be down. Why would you be down from 8 till 5? You guys are crazy. Okay, we have 18 drawings. You guys didn't type yeti. It's too late because I'm gonna hit the drawing. Let's get this over. Here we go. Ready? Let's go. Yet. I ready. I don't want to hear anything about being rigged. I'm just hitting a button. You can see it's streamyard.com giveaway. Here it is, right? Boom. Reborn John.
Jeff
Look at that.
Chip
Reborn John almost won again. It was very close.
Jeff
Toronto.
Chip
Look at that. Reborn John. See, we did all that stuff about, you know, Canada. And there we go. There's Canadian winner.
Jeff
The Canadian winner there.
Chip
He says rig pulled. You can't complain about it if you want. Dude, congrats. Congrats. Rj. Now he's nicknamed rj. What's up, rj? Rj.
Jeff
Rj.
Chip
Corruption.
Jeff
A lot easier.
Chip
Corruption.
Jeff
Corruption. Corrupted.
Chip
Huzzah.
Jeff
Stolen.
Chip
Huzzah. It's rigged. Oh, wait a minute. I won. Never mind. I'm sorry. I was saying, John. Oh, hi. He called his own win. He is calls on win. There you go. That is some funny stuff right there.
Jeff
Look at that brute.
Chip
Yeah, so? Geez, now you're making me. I have to give it away now, Jeff. I don't even know which one it is.
Jeff
It's number 540.
Chip
Holy cow. Man, I'm not. I should have been prepared for this. I'm not even prepared. I think we'll have to do it after the show. I'm gonna need your wallet address, and I'm gonna have to probably go into YouTube to get that. Let me go to YouTube and get that right there. So let's go ahead and see if I can find out where the hell where is. That's really weird. That's very strange. Here we go. Here we go. Let me go in here and check it out. Jeff, why don't you talk while I'm doing all this stuff? This is, this is too much, too much for me to think about two things.
Jeff
So what you got to do? Got to go to YouTube.
Chip
I'm on YouTube now, but I don't see it. Do you see it there? I don't see it. Oh, there it is. I got it already.
Jeff
All right, then go to XRP Cafe.
Chip
Gotta go to my wallet here.
Jeff
You just.
Chip
Do you go on the, on the web or do you just go on your phone?
Jeff
No, I go on the web a lot easier.
Chip
Okay. XRP Cafe. Okay.
Jeff
Cafe. Make sure you're connected. Go to. Click the upper right hand corner when you're connected, connect. That'll show our wallet.
Chip
Scan to connect. I haven't done this in so long. I totally forgot about.
Jeff
And once you're connected to the XRP Cafe. So for everybody that's out there wondering about the process, you open up XRP Cafe, upper right hand corner. Connect your wallet. Connect your Zaman wallet pops up. Which one you want to do? Then go to your Zaman wallet. Hit the blue button. Qr, Scan it, swipe it at the bottom so you accept. Then you're logged into your.
Chip
I still don't know how to scan the QR code. I would always do it from my, from my wallet. How do you scan the QR code?
Jeff
Hit the blue button at the bottom.
Chip
There's no blue button at the bottom. There's no button.
Jeff
Dead center. Opens it up. Scan it.
Chip
There's a black button. That's black. Okay. Got you, got you. Swipe it signed in.
Jeff
Then that logs you in.
Chip
Yep.
Jeff
Then once you're signed in, it should show the wall of the NFT collections we have.
Chip
I. I see it.
Jeff
Go to the blue. Scroll down to 540 and then.
Chip
All right, this is, this is a way easier way to do it than doing it on the wallet. Yeah, I got. I see 540. Yep. Click on that 540 transfer.
Jeff
Plug in the, the thing as soon as you hit transfer, you know the thing. Then as soon as you do that, hit transfer again.
Chip
Let me see if it's the right one. R, H, Y, couple MB transfer.
Jeff
Then you have to QR code. Scan the QR code again, swipe it, and I'll go through this process. Oh.
Chip
Burn point. 0000 012. Called it out for the win. No, I'm not downloading Zama. I've had. I have the pro version. I've had the pro version for three since they offered it. So I paid. I pay for my zombie. I paid for my zombie wallet sucker. I know you're just being funny.
Jeff
Did you finish it?
Chip
Yeah, it's done.
Jeff
Transferred.
Chip
Transfer. Done.
Jeff
It accepted.
Chip
Submitted successfully. Dude, right there.
Jeff
Oh, look at that. Look at that.
Chip
Done.
Jeff
Look at that. So tell me, proud owner of a spirit walker rigged.
Chip
What was his name again? The. I don't remember the name. It was something cool.
Jeff
What was his name?
Chip
I don't know. Something cool. You know the thing. Come on, you know that I forgot his name already. Rigging it.
Jeff
Easy.
Chip
Hell no. Yeah, we want to rig it. Thanks. I got it. Perfect.
Jeff
All right.
Chip
No more complaints about being rigged out of you. You called your own rigged win. Wow. It actually worked on an iPhone.
Jeff
I hope you believe it's only one way.
Chip
I found this great Steve Jobs clip that I was going to play. Now compare him to the pedo ex founder of Microsoft. I rest my case. Thank you very much. Bill Gates is what I meant to say.
Jeff
My battery's dying now.
Chip
Oh, my God. You just cannot wait. All right, we gotta get out of here, guys. We're gonna get out of here. I do mean it. We will see you guys on Saturday morning. I don't. I do mean it. I do mean it. Cash Velocity. What's going on?
Jeff
Nice job, Chip. Managing the stream without me.
Chip
Well, I'm not used to giving it away. Dude, I'm not doing the songs, I'll tell you that. Good luck on that. I'm not putting all that energy in the song. Downloading the videos.
Jeff
Give it away now.
Chip
Takes me 15, 20 minutes with the videos downloaded. That's enough. That's enough stress right there. I'll play the same one and I'll just do the voiceover for the other one. You've won. I'll just like, give them the voice over top of it. You know what I mean?
Jeff
Oh, my God.
Chip
So this is awesome, dude. Very cool.
Jeff
Let's roll out. I'm 7% battery life.
Chip
All right, well, that's enough time. You got another five minutes or so. You got about another 20 seconds or so. It's an Android. I forgot. Sorry.
Jeff
It goes 7%, 5%, 3%, and then. Then it hits two, and then you're dead.
Chip
Yeah, it always does that. Three, and you're like, oh, I got three. Goes out dead. You watch it go to two, and then it's off.
Jeff
Then it's off.
Chip
That's it.
Jeff
Now I'm at 6%. Actually, never. It always skips six. Always goes straight to five.
Chip
Happens every single time. See? Well, guys, that's.
Jeff
I feel like when I got a flat tire on 595 coming back from the airport. And I'm watching my tire, I put on the pressure, and I'm watching it go, and it dropped down into the teens, and then it was like 12 to 11, 10, and I finally. I got right to the median.
Chip
The middle of 595, making the noise.
Jeff
It was crazy. You could feel I was watching the pressure go, and then I finally moved over. It was dead flat. Thank God it didn't destroy my room, but it destroyed the tire.
Chip
That's the worst part. When did this happen? Recently?
Jeff
A few months ago. It was a little while ago.
Chip
Close enough.
Jeff
Sucked.
Chip
All right, guys, those guys will see you guys on the next one. Chip and Jeff, are you down with otc? Please, like, subscribe and click the bell to be notified when the next video drops.
