And everyone always says, Jeff, would it be great if there was a meetup? Wouldn't it be great if we had a meetup in Florida? Wouldn't it be great? Well, guess what guys, we're going to be at the Quantum Summit too. That's going to be in Cape Canaveral. It's on the 9th and 10th happening in Cape Canaveral. Jeff and I will both be there at the event. A lot of speakers. It's put on by Mel Carming. Mel was on the other night. That was a good dude. Love to. We talk often, text each other often and this is a cool event. There's a lot of great people that I'm looking forward to fanboying over and meeting. But guys, I mean I'll give you the. I'll drop the link in there but. And the tickets are pretty reasonable. Jeff, this is what I don't like about conferences and this is one of the reasons we got really behind the wave of innovation which we'll be heading to again this year in Australia. But if you look at the tickets opportunities. Oh, something went wrong. I don't like when that happens. There we go. Here we go. So if you look at the ticket prices, they're pretty, they're reasonable, right? For a two day event it's 432 bucks for, you know, for two days, food, everything included. The VIP is 532 but you can get a general. And then there's going to be a gala dinner which Jeff and I will be at and it'll be like all the speakers and stuff. So it'll be really a very good time but again very reasonable. It's going to be at a great hotel. It's going to be a great event. So just wanted to put that out there, guys. March 8th and 9th, it starts at 9:00am Eastern Time and it goes to Sunday which will conclude right around 5:30. It's at the Radisson Hotel in Cape Canaveral. I'll drop this in there guys. So when he was on stage and he was called out and he didn't say no, he just proceeded to. Right. There were other times we talked about it. And Jeff, I hate to say it, but it looks like we are right yet again. But look at that. Again, Garlinghouse said, I walked away from an action packed day in D.C. yesterday with the feeling that there is finally an incredible opportunity to advance meaningful bipartisan legislation that establishes clear, constructive and pro innovation regulatory framework for crypto. Thank you to these Great leaders. So we met with Senator Tim Scott, Republican Richie Torres, Democrat Hunga. He's a Republican. Is Timmons. What is Timmons? I don't know Timmons. Do you know him? I don't know if he's. Oh, he's GOP oversight. So yeah, he's a Republican as well. Zach Nunn from Iowa. Congressman Zach Nunn, Brian Steele, Republican Bo Hines, Senator Schumer, Democrat, Republican. No, no, definitely not. Catherine Clark, the Democrat whip of the, of the House.

Now that they're the minority. She's a Democrat Whip of the House. And also Rep. French Hill, who used to, who used to chair the Financial services. He's Financial Services Committee chairman. So there you go. I think he's the outgoing though. But look at these. I mean, this is exciting when you see these kind of pictures. There he is talking with Tim Scott, right? Having a conversation like this is amazing to see. What a turn of events. And there's Richie Torres, there's Heising. It's amazing to see these, you know, and Richie Torres, I mean, he's such, he's so, he's so close. There's a couple things he doesn't agree on, but you know, he has to toe the party line every once in a while. But Richie Torres is a good dude. He's always. He's been one of the standouts and the Democrat Party that's really championed crypto. And I think he gets a lot of crap for it. I think he does because every once in a while he puts something out and you're like, oh, that's so weird that he would throw that out. But I think he probably gets a lot of pressure. But look at Brad hanging amongst, you know, all of the folks right there. And there's Stu Alderati. Amazing, right? What a great turn of events. What, what is your thought about all this happening.

Man? I'll tell you, you know, we're seeing a whole new narrative. You know, there's already talk from Elon Musk about putting all of our government expenditure data up in the blockchain. There's a massive push for clear rules of the road. We're getting all of the coalescing and consolidation of the thought leaders in terms of those that actually want good outcome for this country. And then you've got people like Schumer that, you know, they're jumping on board, hoping they can hide all their corrupted behaviors in the past. Because the one thing that's going to be certain over the next months is that every corner and every rock is going to be turned over, looking for the corruption, looking for the theft, looking for the ways that people stole their money and, you know, stole government money, tax dollars and enrich themselves. And so, you know, this is. This is a sign of good tide, you know, of good times. You know, it's a turning of the tide. JD Vance said it perfect last night. You know, there's a sheriff in town, new rules of the road, and, you know, people better get on board because it. It's going to be a rocket ship. It's going to be a little turbulent in the beginning again. When you fire up the. The fuel of the rocket and the fuel is coming out and the, and the fire and the smoke and things start vibrating and shaking, get a little turmoil. But once that rocket takes off, hold on, because it's going to pull, you know, everything with it. This is we're setting and building the foundation. If you don't have a solid foundation, how do you build your castle? So we're building a mighty, mighty castle, and we got to lay that foundation to support it. And this is amazing, amazing things. And I would be thinking, because you know what's great about you painting that picture is I could picture the shaking going on. I could picture the fumes coming out. I could picture the rumbling. You know, that giant rocket that launches and you don't even understand. Like, you see it on tv, you're like, oh, look at that. It landed. And it was caught by the two arms that things like 23 stories tall. It's like sending a building into space. And if you ever seen the picture, like, I saw a picture and I was like, what's the picture of it? Just look at the bottom of the rocket. And then I look and I'm like, oh, there's a whole team of people standing at the bottom of it. And you're like, oh, my God, that's just the bottom of the rocket. It's like you don't even realize the magnitude of how ginormous that thing is. Right? Because, you know, you see, there's nothing to really compare it against. You're watching, you're thinking, oh, this is interesting, you know.

Yeah. And Osman's right, man. When the figures come out on Musk's X account, so he has this whole website up, this guy. You know, you put it into the hands of a tech trillionaire. You know, they've been planning this for the past four years. You know, they've been orchestrating and building it. Musk is trolling on a level that no one has ever trolled before. He's got everything. He posted yesterday, Maxine Waters came out with a little clip and she said that, you know, their privacy is being eroded. And she said, we don't know what Trump and Musk have on us. And, and, and, and Musk posted that on X, posted that video clip of Maxine Waters saying that with a thought like this. Like what the. Like what? You know, that there's. They've been so bold about coming out in to our face, telling us what they're going to do. Now. They're worried because they've got every last receipt we've got. You know, they know exactly who's been reporting on ICE Action. Right? That was a big one that was announced this week. They know exactly who did it. They know who's been revealing ICE movements. They, they have, they have the person or persons, they're arresting that person or persons. They're going to prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law and they're going to jail. This isn't the, the pansy administration that we lived through for the past four years that just allowed corruption and fomented corruption. We also saw $50 million that went for supposed DEI stuff that went through some, you know, Palestinian outreach organization right into the hands of the terrorists. Right? And they knew exactly where that money was going. $50 million, $59 million was just clawed back. Remember how we talked about the clawback on the XRP ledger? Remember there are people that were outspoken against it. Now you see how critical a clawback can be. When they clawed back 59, obviously they didn't do it at XRP, but, but they clawed back $59 million that went to the hotels to house illegals. They clawed that money back to the government. Why? Because it wasn't legal. It wasn't a legal expenditure. They shouldn't have done it. It was a corrupted policy and they clawed the money back. They're going to claw money back across the board. People are going to jail. Elizabeth Warren, they're chasing her around. She's smiling and giggling because she's caught. Maxine Waters caught and the rest of them are caught. And it's brilliant to see what they're doing. And we're going to see so much. And now, J.D. vance yesterday put Europe on notice. And you know why? Because there's more corrupted political elitists in Europe than there are in this country. And they're going down too. Because you know what? Our spigot is being cut off. You're not getting a cent out of this country. This country's done, you know, allowing our money to just flow into the hands of the despots and the elitists over in Europe and the so called royalty in the uk. The UK has been put on notice yesterday. And it's brilliant. It's the greatest thing. It's going to be for the salvation of everybody in Europe and the salvation of everybody in the uk. And you guys better get on board with this because you're not going to jail because you're standing out in front of an abortion clinic, you know, praying to your God. Why can't you pray to your God? But yet hundreds of thousands can go into the streets and pray to Muhammad, can pray to their Islamic God. But you as a Christian get arrested because you want to pray to your God. What does that make in the uk? And you don't have the decency as a community to stand up against your government. Come on, it's happening.

I saw an interview that they did recently with him. This is a guy. I mean, do you understand, a man who's got a family, who is serving time in prison for what he believes is right. This is what. This is how the country of the United States was founded. Men who took to. Basically all the people who signed that Declaration of Independence, except for maybe two, had their farms burned, they had their houses burned down. Most of them went to jail. A lot of them were killed. I mean, this is what it means, standing up for freedom.

And then you got this guy who I love him to death. He's, he's, he, he's, he loves to just comment, he loves to discourse. And he's over in Wales. He says, you're so full of anger, it spoils your judgments. Equanimity, equanimity gives you calmer assessment and better values. I'm like, where was the anger in that? So I was like, England, the entire UK are on the brink of collapse. It's not anger, it's reality. And the good people of the UK stood up. They can save the nation. Instead they accept the man be in jail for praying outside of an abortion clinic or others being arrested for posting memes. A country that tolerates this will not stand against tyranny. By the way, I'm having the time of my life. There's so much winning happening every day, I can barely keep up. So he comes back with, every time you come, you come across an opinion that does not chime with maga tropes which contradict and change as often as the weather. You become very impatient. Rather than examining the arguments, you start telling your opponents as they listen to the wrong media outlets are communists or liberal lefties. I've told him, I was like, dude, you got to wean yourself off the BBC news. He goes, I don't listen to BBC news. I'm like, well whatever your news sources are, they're very leftist, they're very centralized, they're very control oriented, right? He goes, to me, this is anger speaking. It's not equanomity or calmness.

This is the problem, this is the problem with the leftists that are so brainwashed that they listen to their media sources. They're afraid to shut off their media sources, they're afraid to do their own research, they're afraid to read, they're afraid to watch videos, they're afraid to dig in, they're afraid to think for themselves. And, and, and yet the way they point fingers and aspersions, right? So he's, the finger pointing at you is, is basically his own emotional state. So that emotional state that he has, he knows that he's only listening to leftist propaganda news. You know, he knows that it's communist news. He knows down deep at the core of his soul that he's listening to propaganda, but yet he's so afraid to acknowledge it, right? And this, and you'll see people that get red pilled go through that. At least he's in dialogue with you, right? And he's doing it in a pleasant way. At some point he's going to have a wake up call. It's going to affect him personally on a personal level. He'll have a wake up call, then he's going to get angry. And when he gets angry, first he, now he's in disbelief.

And he's going to go through this emotion. Then he's going to be red pill. And the whole UK is, has to go through, if they don't go through it, done, it's over for them because they have to go through this red pilling. And we thought they were there when they left the eu. You remember, you remember Brexit, the greatest point in British history, modern history, was Brexit, get out of the eu, right? There was passion, they were fired up, they had all this behind them. But you know what? The populace didn't support it at the extent that they should have. They didn't understand it. They still wanted to believe their leftist propaganda, you know, and then you look at the police forces in the UK and you wonder, you know, and I, I'm sure there's some really brave police out there, but I see lots and lots on, on the YouTube and TV, a lot of them are overweight, a lot of them are out of shape and a lot of women that shouldn't be in that police positioning and they're not allowed to carry guns. I'm sure there's some guns out there, you know, but I'm always shocked to see how many of them are out of shape and overweight. Well, and then they just get abused. And I'm like, that's you, that's how, that's your respect for your state, you know, at least have some respect, you know, and then it's just, that's crazy, Jeff. You know, even when I look at that, I'm glad I went to visit when I did because my wife said, we're not going to the UK until they clean up their act. We're not going.

Some kind of a scuffle going on. And there were like two or three police around this. And I was, I was recording it. I was like getting right there and recording. And they're like, sir, you can't record. I'm Like, I can record. This is public. I can record anything. They're like, sir, we'll take your camera. I'm like, I just go, you're not gonna take my camera? And they started coming after me, trying to grab my camera. I was like. And I was like, running away from them. I'm like, you're gonna take my camera from. From filming this? Like. And then I was thinking like, hey, man, don't push it too hard. They probably will take my camera because I'm, you know, a foreigner, and they'll just lock me up and say I was doing something wrong or. I don't know, who knows? I mean, there's some. Again, we have to be that light shining on the hilltop, the beacon that people want to achieve. That was the whole concept. That's what's in the Constitution. That's the whole point of this country. Not, let's lead towards a new version of socialism. Let's not give handouts to everybody. No, you know what? It's the American dream. All the years that I grew up overseas, it was, the streets in America are paved with gold. That's what people believe. They believe that they came here, they could accomplish anything they wanted to. They believe that if you came over here, you started a business, you could do anything. People come here from all over the world. This is the. This is the.

The. The craziest part is that from all parts of the world, people want to come here. Not for the handouts that the socialist Democrats want to give people. Right? They just want to give people money. $1,500 a month for illegals coming in. No, you give them zero. You don't give them a dime. Why? Because when they come over here, they came here with a passion to do better for themselves. They find a way. Remember, they were selling wares on the streets. Hey, you know what? They're doing something, at least. They were trying to sell stuff, and they're trying to make money. But people came to this country because they believed in the American dream, which is, I can come there with zero and I could become a millionaire. Not everybody will succeed, but you'll see. You know, every ethnicity group comes over here. What's the first thing typically they do? They open up stores, right? I have lots and lots of Chaldean friends in. In. In Detroit, in Michigan, and Their family structure from the early years. They own stores, grocery stores, party stores, gas stations, restaurants, and on and on and on. I was hanging out with my, my buddy this past, the past couple days and his brothers have owned a grocery store for years. His dad owned a grocery store, his brother's owner grocery, another brother owned restaurants. They're owners, they're entrepreneurs and they came over here with nothing. They lost everything when they left Iraq. Everything. They came over the zero in their pocket. That's the American dream. That's what we want.

When I lived in Detroit too, I need some, you know, former Iraqis as well that did the same. I this is like what Detroit is loaded with rough Rican, you know, who's not afraid rough Rican to support this channel. This guy has been one of our top supporters since for five years, man. And rough Rican. We always appreciate you, man. And I love this comment here. He said, I, I think it's a blessing that Trump last election was stolen. It gave him more time to understand Washington how it works and, and Doge is just shutting them down. We are back and I think a lot of what it was, you know what, this is what it always is now if Trump had had come in with tanks and said, hey, you don't understand what the left's doing. You don't understand. It's all been orchestrated. No, walked out, said everything right? Walked away. And, and this is what's happening in the UK they're having their Biden moment, right, with Keir Starmer, right? They, they, this is what they're having because you have a scenario where, and this is playing out in Australia, it's playing out all over the world, right? You have a choice. Do you want it? Do you want to endorse the people that want to control every bit of your lives or do you want freedom? Do you want the freedom of speech? Do you want to be able to criticize your government? Criticize whatever you want, not threaten, criticize. And this is, and this is what's happening. So when you have the US that's rising up and being a true by leading, by example, right? Peace through strength. When Trump comes out and says, hey, we're going to take over the Gaza Strip, we're going to, we're going to take over all of Gaza, we're going to redevelop it two days later, you got Jordan and Egypt tripping over each other trying to get into we're going to do. It's the only constitution in the history of the world. People now. And in the 200. We're coming up on 250 years as a country, you know, an anniversary still pretty young in the grand scheme of things. You would think. You would think, Jeff, that some other country be like, hey, you know, they might want to take a page out of that book. You know, like Peter polio said, pay. Which page? Well, any. The constitution page, right? Take a page of that book and say, let's. Why don't we the people craft it? And it. And the thing about the Constitution, it's written in a way that tells the government what it cannot do. It limits the government power. It doesn't. Every other constitution tells you all the way. The government can throw its thumb on your face. And, and hold it on your neck. That's what every other constitution does. This constitution is crafted by we the people. It happened over a series of of of it started with the Federalist Papers and then it was knockout drag out fights to get it across the line. It took some time to actually put the constitution constitution. And it wasn't like they went in a weekend like let's do the Constitution. It wasn't, it didn't unfold like that. It's a cool history if you really want to get into some real good, some of the best bits of American history and how it was crafted. But you know, and it started off anonymous as the Federalist papers, right? What later been became known as the federalist papers. And we're like we can't have anonymous handles on X. This is how the whole, this is how this whole constitution came to be written by anonymously to protect people's identity, right? And in times of you know, looking for freedom but the whole thing, the way it unfurled and, and even though we've broken away from Great Britain, the UK still near and dear. It's always been a great ally to the US you saw what happened World War II. You saw you know those events unfold. I mean not personally but you know history tells us you had one man that stood up. There's a bill going through Congress right now to audit the Fed. And what do you think we're going to find? Geez, if we're finding all this weird stuff with Doge and every single government agency is tainted, what do you think is going to happen when they look at the Fed and look at the balance sheet, the real one, not the one they've been showing us and pretending that everything's fine when we know Bernack, we have got Bernanke, an ex Fed chair who's talking about sending a trillion dollars overseas. Well, trillion dollars from what? For whose money? This is what happens when the founder's vision is not met because Congress can go off and do stupid things, which they did with the Federal Reserve. And you know, in the, in the Constitution it allows the, it allows Congress to create COIN or you know, a monetary system and they gave it to a third party that has no governance, zero oversight, doesn't do anything for we the people. And that's coming to an end. And we, when Trump talks about this golden age, the only way we can have a golden age is to get rid of the Federal Reserve, to get rid of the irs. And you see by saving all this money that's no longer worth spending, the government doesn't have to spend it. You cut 80% of the people in the government. Well, guess what? The amount of tariffs you need to cover the nut is very low. Right? Then you're going to get into state taxes. Okay, well you know, Florida doesn't have a state tax. Texas doesn't have a state taxes. But you know, places like Georgia, New York, Illinois, they got massive state taxes. Right. So this is what's coming, Jeff. It's going to be brilliant. And this is. I will look at this one right here. Shoot. I hate when it happens. Look at the survey found that interested in issuing a CBDC steadily declined. Some 18 of respondents said they are more inclined to issue one than in previous years, down from 38%. This is a nothing article. Republican opposition has been vocal in its opposition to a cbdc. A year ago, five Republicans introduced legislation to prevent Biden from issuing a cbdc. I mean, well, do they get into Trump already did it or no mention it. What a goofy article.

But it had, it had to be done, you know. And Brian's saying it looks like Ripple is positioning itself to take over for the Fed. I think we'd be better off if we got rid of the Fed. I think we're getting ready to see an audit of the Fed. We're going to see a dismantling of all the different agencies. First they got to go agency by agency. And as a matter of fact, as you shut, shut down agencies like the USAID or Department of Education, etc. Etc. You also cut the tentacles of the Fed because the Fed is ingrained come out in all these areas. Now you get rid of that. Then when they go after the Fed to audit the Fed because Trump is already made statements that they're going to audit the Fed. Elon Musk wants to audit the vet. Ron Paul wants to edit the Fed. There's a whole group of them. I'm sure they're pulling the people together now, positioning themselves. Once they audit the Fed, they got to audit the IRS too.

They're shutting down these agencies and departments and it's going to be amazing. And I think Elon Musk was, he made a statement the other day to say how much money the US Government actually has. We have so much money coming in that that's why there's all these slush funds. That's why there's all these outpouring of money because they have too much money. They're taking too much of our tax, they're printing too much money. They have way too much, you know. So shut down the IRS, let people keep all their money 100% of their earnings. And then, then we're going to see some rocket ship. Every everybody will have money to build a rocket ship. That's what we want. Productivity product we want pouring into our economy. Yeah.

And as a result the whole world will do amazing. So Brian Quinten's this guy was a great commissioner of the CFTC and something great happened this week. He said it's his great honor to be nominated by Donald Trump as the next chairman of the Commodities Futures Trading Commission. And if you guys don't know what that means in the U.S. the CFTC is the regulatory body, not the SEC. The CFTC is the correct body that will take care of crypto. And you got a guy here that is so freaking pro crypto. Right. And the SEC is a useless organization. And once the new legislation comes out to become even more useless, they'll have nothing to do except if like you know, you have an ETF or something that actually is a security. But if they also change the definition of what that looks like, they'll, they'll have nothing to do. And we don't even have to worry about Gensler 2.0 with this task force. And we're come on in. We have a new way to register. This is like that reminds me of the communist ism that you talked about earlier. Everyone goes like I know the communism didn't work when they tried it but if you do it our way it's going to succeed. It's our version of communism is going to work for all the people. Right. And it fails and fails and fails and it's never ever worked. And so now you got the task force over at the SEC headed up by so called crypto mom and she's telling you we're going to have a new way to come in and register and buzzer this guy right here in the new legislation is going to prove that the SEC is a useless place. He said I served as a commissioner in the last, in his last administration. CFTC plays a critical role in maintaining robust hedging and price discovery markets. They're the envy of the globe. Because now what we're going to start seeing is a coalescing of this kind of technology. They're prepared. Elon Musk knows it, Trump knows it. Everybody knows the direction that the country's moving in. But if you look at what you know, Ripple's direction right now, modernize your financial infrastructure. Doge then gets teams embedded inside every single federal agency. Each team consists of a lawyer, an HR rep, a zoomer, nerd, and an investigator. They report to those, not the agency, zoomer to that. Like that, not the agency that they're embedded in. But wait, there's more. Trump invokes 44 USC Chapter 35, which governs federal IT and cyber security oversight. And since the USDS was originally an IT oversight body, DOGE now has full access to all federal data systems. Yes, that's right, all of them. His executive orders, written to block legal challenges. Includes languages that overrides conflicting executive orders orders every agency has to comply. Refusal means they violate presidential authority. Congress can't defund it because it's not a new program, just a repurposed one. DOJ can't sue for overreach because Trump used existing laws and it was done exactly as written. Democrats trying to file legal challenges run into standing issues because the DOGE operates within existing frameworks. Obama literally built the perfect administrative read. Deep State IT backdoor. Trump and Musk just hacked the system, took the admin controls. MUST now has legal oversight over every agency's internal systems. The administrative state can't stop it without rewriting multiple federal laws. And they legally just outplayed the system. And there's nothing you can do about it because Obama created doge. It talks about how he met his wife and how she stood behind him and you'll really get a vat. You really get some good value around who this, who this guy really was. A little over two years ago, the British government charged Adam smith Connor, a 51 year old physiotherapist and an army veteran, with the heinous crime of standing 50 meters from an abortion clinic and silently praying for three minutes. Not obstructing anyone, not interacting with anyone, just silently praying on his own. After British law enforcement spotted him and demanded to know what he was praying for, Adam replied simply, it was on behalf of the unborn son he and his former girlfriend had aborted years before. Now the officers were not moved. Adam was found guilty of breaking the government's new buffer zones law which criminalized silent prayer and other actions that could influence a person's decision within 200 meters of an abortion facility. He was sentenced to pay thousands of pounds in legal costs to the prosecution. Now I wish I could say that this was a fluke, a one off crazy example of a badly written law being enacted against a single person. But no. This last October, just a few months ago, the Scottish government began distributing letters to citizens whose houses lay within so called safe access zones, warning them that even private prayer within their own homes may amount to breaking the law. Naturally, the government urged readers to report any fellow citizen suspected guilty of thought crime. In Britain and across Europe, free Speech, I fear, is in retreat.

Yet when you go to the shops and people are putting barriers up to get to a Christmas market and we have barriers within our town centres that are permanently there in Manchester and Liverpool and different places, that is our life being eroded and nobody's bothered. These European leaders are not bothered. Our rule leader is not bothered. They say the words but there's no real feeling behind them. And what really concerns me, it took an American to come to Munich only days after a recent terror attack, yet again, which is an attack on the way we live our lives, to actually bring all these issues to the forefront. And the audience was sat there in all their military uniforms. Oh, yeah, let's talk about security. Let's talk about defending ourselves from China and Russia. What about defending ourselves from the people where the power's in the wrong hands within our own countries who aren't listening to the electorate. Brexit never delivered sky high prices for fuel, for heating, sky high prices on the cost of living tariff to death, while billions are made through the companies that supply us with power. Can I give you the. A little bit longer version? Yeah, very abbreviated version, which was Ivan and I have been going for my phone starts blowing up hundreds of texts. Everyone is like, Trump just launched Meme coin and it went to $4.6 billion in like an hour. I don't know. We had a meeting the next morning at 8am the whole goal was we wanted to have the meeting. And then we were going to finally take a break for the whole day. We were just going to relax. We finished the meeting, we have breakfast, we're going through sort of what we need to do to follow up. And then we walk back to the hotel. I'm so happy to, like go back in. We get a call. Mona calls who's our CFO and says, keith, Ivan, we have A problem. Trump coin is so popular, and because the Trump team directed it towards moonshot and we had no clue that this was even going. Moonpei has the exclusive rails and moonshot. The volumes were just gigantic. All of the liquidity that we use to sort of wire the crypto to sell the crypto, like, was locked in BlackRock accounts in a traditional finance sort of manner. And it's Saturday of a holiday weekend during the inauguration. So we have no access to our capital. All of the reserves that we have are dwindling really fast. Well, Mona, how much money do we need to raise? And she's like, it's not money. We need crypto to be able to buy this, right? Like, we need usdc. How much do we need? She goes, I'm doing the math. At the current rate, $50 million by midnight tonight, 11 o'clock in the morning, okay? And Ivan's like, okay, are we sure? She does the math again. She's like, honestly, the rate that this token is growing and the demand that we're seeing, $100 million, we have to find $100 million by when? Midnight tonight. By the way, we know that on Tuesday we could pay it all back because we have the money in the bank. It's just we have no access to it. So I text my Mike, I'm sorry to bother you on the weekend. Do you have a minute to chat? Within a minute, he texts back. We get on the phone with him and Ivan and I explain the situation. And Mike says, well, you know, guys, I like you both. Five minutes later, we get a call from Mike's team. The team at Galaxy, absolutely amazing. So we start scrambling the finance team, everyone's scrambling to get all the forms storms going. Later in the day, it turns out that we get a call. They can't confirm that the funds are real because it's a Saturday and no one at blackrock is picking up the phone call. And they can't confirm if they're liens. And so fortunately, Lindsay Haswell, our chief legal officer, sits on the board of BlackRock's ETF. She's calling her friends at BlackRock. We get someone who can confirm the funds. Chris over at Galaxy calls up and he's like, guys, hand on heart, give me your word though, you have no liens on these funds.

And finally, at 11:00 at night, the money comes through. $100 million million dollars. So I go to sleep at like 1:00 in the evening. At that point, Trump Coin was, I think, 26, 30 billion dollars. I wake up at 6:00 in the morning and I'm thinking to myself, finally, a day that I could rest. And I look at my phone and Trump coin is $70 billion. So I'm giving you the perspective of Ivan and I raising capital, but, like, at the same time, the operations team is working, like, non stop. Melania sort of launch happened at the same time. It essentially was the equivalent of a DDoS attack on Moonpay's, like, servers, right? Because it was just everything coming full force. Ivan comes running over to my room in his bathroom, and so I even goes, you know who I could text? You know who I think could come through is. Is Brad Garlinghouse. So I even texts Brad at 7 in the morning. Brad responds immediately, says, no problem, guys. Meet me at the waldorf Astoria at 10:45 in the morning. And Ivan goes into explaining to him, you know, yesterday novogratz gave us $100 million. Like, we underestimated this demand of this Trump token. And Brad goes, well, listen, same thing as Mike. I'm gonna call our CFO and chief legal officer, see what we could do. Here's the deal. We want to help you, but you got to get Novo's team to approve it, which is fair. They helped us out the night before, and it was the right thing to Galaxy's team's. Credit. They're like, listen, guys, like, if they repaper everything, you're never going to make your deadline. At the end of the day, it was like 5:00 at night. What we suggest is why doesn't Ripple wire the money to Galaxy and then Galaxy can wire the money to moonpay. And at 11:58 on Sunday, another $60 million comes through. Monday comes around and the acquirers start to pay us back from the floats in Europe, but it's still a holiday in the US Tuesday comes around like we have access to our capital again. All of the US acquirers start to pay us back. And by Tuesday, I think around 2:58 in the afternoon, we paid back the entire loan. What I walked away from was these are just two amazing individuals to the level that, like when you said that you had Novogratz on your podcast and you spoke to them, if Mike or Brad ever needed a kidney, I should be the first call they give. I would give both of my kidneys. To put into context how big the Trump coin was and the Melania coin was and how it impacted Moonpay. Over the course of a week, we onboarded 750,000 new consumers. That was my weekend, which was, I hope. And then I go back to New York for two days and fly here to Istanbul. Okay.

This breathless fake outrage from the left is utterly insane. And you know what? The American people, you know they can see right through it. The generosity of Americans and the blessing of giving aid to others has always been one of our most valuable tools for diplomacy. The American people have a proud history of championing aid to our fellow man. But lawless bureaucrats have poisoned that goodwill.
