Welcome to on the Chain. This is Jeff here with co host Chip. What is going on? Chip, what's going on? Everybody out there in the XRP world, on the chain world, badass yeti badassery world. What's going on? I'll tell you what's going on. XRP ETF approval coming soon. Question mark. You can get an ETF mini trust if you are so inclined and you're got all the right qualification. You can get that over on grayscale and a few other places. Garlinghouse praises new pro crypto Congress because there's a Brand New Congress, 119th u. S. Congress in place. Took a little doing a little hair pulling and then There you go. 119th Congress is in place. Garland House is fired up. Why? Because they're the most pro crypto ever. So is the new big administration coming in on January 20, and we'll talk more about that too. Chip, if you're ready to kick this thing off.
Chip
Oh, I'm more than ready. Let's go. We got everybody in here ready to go. You guys ready? Let's go. Let's pull the. Pull the tab. Welcome to on the Chain. Welcome everybody to on the Chain. Drop where you are coming from. What part of the world are you coming in from today? And we're gonna dive head first into the shallow end for some maximum impact, as we like to say around here. So we're gonna do that. Bring it. Let's go. Let's do it. So I want to start off kind of what. Let's start off where, where Jeff teased this a little bit here. So this. Here we go. Brad Garlinghouse coming out a big way. This. There's no more holding back, Jeff. He said, today here in the US we welcome the 119th Congress, better known as the most pro crypto Congress in history. Huh? Did he just say that, Jeff? How about that? But we were told the Democrats are going to do a pivot. We'll get more to that later because that's been uncovered and Jeff and I were right yet again. It's good to be right because we know what we're talking about. The journey is just beginning. But you cannot deny the energy and excitement already building across the image industry. Let's get to work. Your thoughts about this? This is like, this is a very pro admin, pro crypto, pro. Awesome message, Pro, you know, everything, you know, innovation. It's got everything in here, packed in.
Jeff
The journey is just the beginning, you know, I mean, how great is that? You know, there obviously is some amazing energy, some amazing excitement coming out of the industry. You can hear it on some of the X spaces. You can really, man, you can feel the positivity when, you know, Garlinghouse is coming out, embracing this new Congress, knowing what the next steps are going to be. Because it doesn't just end with, hey, we got this brand new Congress. It's, hey, we got this brand new Congress. And guess what they're gonna do? Because these guys are all geared up and ready to do some amazing things. Even though, Chip, the current sitting Congress or the current sitting administration has been very, you know, anti, you know, crypto, so to speak. And the administration has done some things with their unelected bureaucratic departments here. And these guys are doing some things. They're minions pulling strings that Chip, and we talked about this before going into that election. So many people got it so wrong saying that even if the Democrats pulled it off and they had won, they would have been pro crypto or crypto still would have progressed. It would have been progressed. It might have taken 10 more years. But, you know, the point being is that we have the most pro crypto administration hands down Congress or at least within the House. And we, you know, we've got it, you know, within the White House. It's going to be a major, major shift in the speed at which we're going to see crypto or blockchain technology adoption happening on a much broader scale. And that's where we sit. That's the significance of Garling House.
Chip
Yeah, I think it's a good one too. Ripple put this out and I thought this was really interesting. There's no sound on it, but it was just something that they posted to X. But if you look at the very beginning, tell me if this very beginning piece looks familiar right there. Does that look something interesting? It almost looks like those three. They call it Triskelian or something like that. It's almost like the Ripple logo right there. Those three boulders. You imagine that those are connected, right?
Jeff
Yeah.
Chip
Now if you. This is what they. This is. It's just words on here. It's a stability shaped by experience. Say hello to ripple USD backed by over 10 years of on chain experience. Stability shaped by experience. That's it. Boom, there it is. There's the Ripple USD and there's the, there's. What do you call that? A trisculion. Trisculin. I don't know. There's some, there's some word for that, what that thing's called. But thought that was pretty, pretty interesting. How they tied that back to nature and stability and rock. And it was a clever little. It's a clever little thing. Sometimes they do things that are really simple yet very effective in trying to convey exactly something. When, especially when you get to this point here and I talk about. It's backed by stability. What's, what's. How long have those rocks been there? Just a very cool play right there. And they, I'm pretty sure they went out and shot this or. I don't know where this is. Maybe in California. I'm not sure where it is. But what a cool, what a cool way to lay that in. I thought that was very well done. I saw that. I was like, there's some clever cats over there, you know, some clever lads, as they say over there. Good Karma's Carmichael's here. Good can start the show. We can. Now we get started. Now the show can begin. You know what I mean? It's not the same without karma here. So, Jeff, I wanted to. Let's just go into here. Right here. Ellie Terra put this out and we're not. There's, there's sound in here, but, you know, it sounds like one of those things where we'll get penalized if we play it sounds like one of the tunes that will. Will get penalized, but she put up this thing. 24 headlines of 2024 here to one of them. SEC clears way for Bitcoin ETFs and a milestone crypto market. Crypto world Wall street awaits potential spring approval of spot either etf. When the treasury deals a blow to Elizabeth Warren's anti crypto crusade. Crypto industry fights back against government crackdown.
Jeff
Love it.
Chip
We had this one. SEC signals possible approval of anticipated Ethereum spot ets. We see a bunch of stuff about the spot ets. Coinbase CEO says company has donated 25 million to vote Anti crypto politicians out of off a Congress. See where this is going. Then you have Rokana Crypto roundtable seeks industry inroads for White House and Democrats. This is when we are all gaslighted. Ro Khanna is a Democrat who's very pro crypto. Good guy, really believes in crypto. He's one of the few in the Democratic party but he really, he tried to put together these round tables to try to persuade at the time when Harris was running for president, try to persuade to say, hey, we're gonna, we need to do a pivot. And there was everyone. Remember all that conversation about pivots, Jeff? They're doing a pivot. They're definitely going to do it. Yeah, there's no such thing as a pivot. So. So then we had then. Then the U S. House expected to uphold Biden veto preserving SEC accounting rule. Then we had this one. Donald Trump and J.D. vance create a pro crypto presidential ticket. Like as it's going on, you can see a little theme here. Then you had Wyoming Senator Lummis plans to announce a legislation for strategic bitcoin reserve at the bitcoin conference. The bitcoin was in Nashville which Trump actually attended and settled those things about bitcoin. And that's when we really started getting wind of where they were going with this. Then we had this one. Democrats launch crypto for Harris campaign to counter Trump's appeal Industry appeal Crypto advocate John Deaton wins GOP nod the challenge Industry skeptic Elizabeth Warren the fake Indian. Then we had this one. Crypto for Harris town hall fails to sell industry on proposed reset. You see where this is going, Jeff. And these are all things that were authored by La Terrace. You did a great job this year. Deadline looms for SEC to appeal ripple ruling will it Crypto asset manager Bitwise files for first XRP exchange traded fund. Yeah, there you go. Pro crypto super PAC becomes the largest spender in Ohio Senate race. And Jeff, they won that race because shared route is no longer. They pumped a ton of money. I wish they would have taken the same attention and dedication and pumped that same kind of money to pumped in like 30, 30, $40 million into unseating Sherry Brown over there. And I believe it was Sherry Brown. Right. The memory serves. And and of course they did do that with John Deaton. So that's. They did not running against the most anti crypto person ever probably be in Congress. Pro crypto candidates win big as industry significant election bet pays off. That's 25 million in 2026 midterm elections with a commitment to what? None else. None other than pro crypto super pac. And we've got this crypto industry election spending tallies at least 238 million surpassing traditional giants. And this one Pennsylvania House introduces bill to implement a strategic bitcoin reserve.
Jeff
Yeah.
Chip
18 states sue. Thank you drunk guy. 18 states sue sec over unconstitutional overreach of digital assets. Trump nominates Paul Atkins to lead securities and Exchange Commission. And then we've got crypto industry celebrates Trump avoiding David Sachs's AI crypto czar to lead the industry innovation. We have Senate scraps the vote to renominate SEC's Crenshaw. This was a big Win. I think this. This one kind of flew under the radar. But the fact that Crenshaw, who was so she was Gary Gensler Jr. Like she was lockstep with Gensler and not having her back and not voting for her and she's gone. Done.
Jeff
Yep, done.
Chip
No more. No more. No more, you know, Gary Gensler or Gary Gensler Jr. There. And then we had this. When the SEC clears way for Bitcoin ETFs and a milestone crypto market.
Jeff
That's good.
Chip
The world Wall street await potential spring approval. Okay, I think we're back to start there. But it was amazing. It was a. It was a hell of a year. And you saw a trend there. We saw a trend that really talked a lot about. Saw where the pacing was. Oh, there's going to be a pivot Rokhana. They're. They're trying to find inroads. And meanwhile, you see Donald Trump, pro crypto, everything else, the super PACs, big payoff in the election. And you know, crypto is a voice. You guys have a voice out there, man. This is. This is a worldwide activity. This isn't just something for us. So, I mean, it was really great. Ellie put together a phenomenal piece there. I thought that was really well done.
Jeff
So, you know, the big part of that is that those 24 headlines telling that story. You know, she did such an amazing job, you know, throughout 2024, getting that together. Chip, I thought, you know, really outstanding. There's something else that stood out, you know, those. Very glaring on all of that. It was La Terrett. I didn't see Gasparino's name co authoring, authoring, none of that. Right. So when we go back in time and go back to the first time we had her on, you want to see of that duo.
Chip
Right?
Jeff
Because Gasparino talked about how a lot of it was him. You know, he's the one that was supposed to be the pro crypto guy coming out and talking about it. But who was it really? Who was doing all the research, who was writing all the articles? Who was, you know, trying to educate themselves, you know, the best. And it looks like it was Eleanor. It looked like Ellie Terrett was on top of her game, you know, throughout 2024 and beyond as she really brought out the truth that is true reporting. That was really cool to see all those articles stacked up one after another to see what she did, what she is able to do and what she'll continue to do.
Chip
And also too is the means, if you think about like more of A mainstream media outlet, Fox Business, and authoring all these articles. I don't recall really too much coverage of, of any of this. I mean, you might get a mention on air, but there really wasn't a lot of focus on this. And this is where Ellie brought a lot of focus to this especially, you know, she authored that seminal piece on Ripple getting sued by the sec and it really was great. I remember we broke down. That whole article was so succinctly done and researched and well put together. That's amazing to see her growth over the period of time. When she first came in, she was kind of new to it, but she, you know, she really put her nose down and, and, you know, to the grindstone. And she really took it by the horns, man. And she just, you know, she's one of the premier reporters now and you want to look to Ellie to see what she's going to break because she also has a lot of inside stuff being media that knows a lot of people on the Hill. So she gets a lot of, you know, tip offs. You know, we usually hear it from Ellie first. So she's breaking a lot of stories too, which I think is phenomenal. And that's phenomenal right there. There's rough. Rico, beautiful. Give us a super sticker. We can't see that. But Rican, man, you are the man. Appreciate you. You always want to talk about one of the OGs here. This is one of the OGs. It's a really great. You've been a phenomenal supporter, man. You've always, you've always shown your support, not only by showing up here like everybody else, but also, you know, showing support in this way, too. That's really well appreciated. Thank you, man. And happy New Year to you.
Jeff
Happy New Year. Great to see everybody. Happy New Year. Jackie just popped in as well, and we got Adrian still watching, even though he's watching the soccer game on tv, which is pretty cool. So that is, you know, the passion and commitment over here. Something else. Another way you guys can help, two ways. Two ways you guys can help support on the chain. Number one, get ready to type in yeti because you know what day it is, you know what time it is. We're giving away a badass Yetis from the White Tribe. This is one of the Brutes. Look how kick ass this guy is. Look at that. Just the visual, the spear, the look, you know, you look at those teeth. This guy super, super kick ass as one of the brutes. So get ready for that. And if you said, hey, you know What? How else can I help on the chain? Well, you can just go over and you can actually buy a badass yeti and we've discounted both of them. So limited time. The white tribe, I think Chip can pull it up up. He's. We got the white tribe over there, xrp 12 xrp for one of the badass white tribe and 16 xrp for one of the badass blue tribe and that helps keep keep the lights on over here at on the chain. The other way you can help engage and help on the chain is check out some of that badass yeti's coffee. So that is very good over there. The badass yeti's coffee, when you own one of the white tribe or blue tribe on the white tribe is actually coming soon be rolling that out here. So you guys are hearing it first up before it was just with the blue tribe and now we've got it worked out so we can roll out with the white tribe too. When you own a blue tribe or a white tribe, you actually get discounts on the coffee. So and those are pretty big discounts. So when you go over to our discord and you verify your yetis, you'll be able to verify and open up the discounts. And so that's in progress right now. So stay tuned. You can still do that with the blue tribe right now. Have a blue tribe, you get a nice discount of coffee. Going to get bigger discounts, which are what we worked out and it's going to be very cool. So we'll be rolling that out between today and tomorrow. And so when you go over there, you'll be able to verify your badass yetis on the discord and get the big discount on the coffee, which we're excited about being able to do. So that's very cool. And when you do check out the coffee, make sure you check out the badass yetis coffee.com because we have the Obsidian bold, my favorite, by far, my favorite Obsidian bold. And then there is the. If you want something a little bit that, that one's super rich. Then you go to noir symphony, also rich. You know, make sure you get the. The fresh beans, you know, get them roasted, get them shipped out. It's really, really cool, you know, and.
Chip
I'll drop this in there as well. But it is good stuff. You guys are coffee snobs like Jeff and I. If you like, enjoy a good cup and it says, you know, why is our coffee so good? Well, if you've not ever tried coffee from just roasted beans that's basically badass Yeti's coffee. We roast your beans to order. We ship them the next day. They get roasted on day one. Next day two, they're out in a couple days. They're, you know, so you're getting it within a week. Most of the time, it sits on a shelf for six to 12 months, and it's. The beans get dried even if they're vacuum sealed. That happens with badass Yeti's Coffee. You're tasting a legend in a cup. It's a riot of flavors as powerful and mythical as our beloved yetis. And every order is roasted just for you, resulting in freshness as thrilling as a yeti's yodel. There you go. Yeah. Jeff and I had a little bit of fun writing the copy on this. What I'd say, you know, talk a little bit about the process too. You guys go read about it too. Here it is. Roast the style. Bring on the orders. Roasted, armored, and shipped up to you. We nestle your coffee in a fortress of a package. A valiant protector. That's audacious taste, invigorating scent. And did we share that. We foot the shipping bill? Hell yeah. What about making coffee history, not delivery. Misery. So there you go. That's a little bit of misery. It's a little bit about. We got there is some of the process right there. Some shots directly from there. There's a. About it. Badass bruise yeti size value. There you go. Are you a fan of surrendering Your hard earned $5 each day to some hipster rendition of a latte? I mean, half of that pays for the avocado toast addiction. And we're adept at coffee alchemy, not hipster nourishment. And do you think your coffee experience needs a gold leaf cup, a holographic unicorn logo, a smart mug warmer, and a cornucopia of dairy alternatives? Your badass great grandpa had only one rusty tin cup, and he brewed his cup over an open fire. He's a badass. Your grandpa was a badass. Quit financing coffee fads you don't need. So halt your caffeine odyssey. Start planning how you'll invest all those greenbacks. We're saving you because we're badass Yeti's coffee. And the percolation never sleeps. There you have it. Now on to our regular schedule program.
Jeff
Yeah, that was fun.
Chip
One of the owners that's.
Jeff
We put so much into that, into the. Into the copy of that. I wonder if people actually go in and read all of that, because it.
Chip
I don't know, but I just did. So there you go. I thought I read some of it. I didn't bore you guys with all the gory details. But Jeff, I, I, I, I have to say that Poly Market, do you remember Poly Market got excoriated? Because they were, they were, they had Trump up by, I don't know, it was like 70 to 30. Kamala Harris, Donald Trump. Well, Poly Markets added again and look at this, look, they're saying this time there's a 70 chance the XRP gets an ETF approval this year. They're, that's, that's what they're betting on, a 70 chance right there.
Jeff
It's a pretty strong image.
Chip
Yeah, pretty strong chance. And I imagine this will go up and that's up 20. That was on December 31st that they posted this or that's, no, it's by December 31st. I think that's what, it's 20, 25. So there you go. It's pretty cool to see that they're bullish. Bullish, very bullish. But again, we've got a great, we got a great admin coming in.
Jeff
That's everything, you know. But if you, if you roll over to, to grayscale, you can actually get into and, and it's interesting because they made a marketable shift. I don't, I don't know if any of you guys are investing in any of the ETFs, if you're going through grayscale or, or anything like that, but it was an interesting shift because you have the GBDC which has been around for a while and that's currently I think like $80, you know, per, and it started down in the 20s and so, and then the XRP beat or the Grayscale BTC Mini Trust rolled out and it rolled out around $4. And then they did a 10 for one reverse split and brought the valuation up on the stock share price. And so they brought it up to like, it went from 8 up to like 40 something or 6 up to 40. I forget exactly where, where it was at at that exact moment, but it now is trading in and around like 42, 43, 44 or a little bit higher. And so I'm seeing the same trend as they rolled out over here with the grayscale XRP Mini Trust. So in order to get into any of these, well, not, well, the BTC you can get into, but some of these others you actually have to get into the Mini Trust as an accredited investor. So, so some of these things are available you can see, you know, the movement. So you can see the trend here like in November, trading in and around 10, obviously we saw some, you know, doubling, quadrupling in price point on xrp, you know, bringing it up into these potentially higher numbers. I don't think they made any adjustment for it in terms of what they did with the BTC Mini Trust. I think this was just natural ascension here based on the price. I believe they'd have to go back and look, I haven't really been following this specifically, but I find it interesting, you know, because the only way you can get into some of these mini trusts that graysco has and graysco has, you know, other investment solutions. But you know, you have all these different investment solutions, but the majority of these trusts you can only invest in if you're accredited, you know, so that, you know, limits many people from getting there. And that's the whole point. Will there be an XRP ETF approval? Because then at that moment then you no longer have to be accredited in order to go in. But look at all these different trusts that they set up over on Grayscale from Ave down. You know, here's Bitcoin cash, there's you know, the bat token, you know, and then if we. I'm a little surprised on some of them, but you have decentralized, you scroll down and you get into XRP Trust. Here's the Sui Trust, Stellar Trust. We've got zcash over here. You, you know, Solana, you know, so they've really gone, you know, Grayscale is really heavily in, in, you know, involved in putting together all these projects. And they're the probably the bigger backer of establishing these ETFs when we look at it overall.
Chip
So that's.
Jeff
We got nothing gained just sharing, you know, these. Not saying anything whatsoever about Grayscale other than these guys are probably on the forefront of putting all this stuff together.
Chip
Yep, amazing stuff I'm trying to find.
Jeff
Chad says etf. More like a wtf. I'd rather hold the actual coin. Yeah, it's great you can hold the actual coin. People with a grayscale gives people opportunity to take money that's saved in a 401k. As an example. Let's say you're going through a Fidelity account or Wells Fargo or anything like that and you have whatever type of investment account from retirement investment account. Those typically not every one of them, but I think most of them will allow for investing in these, these ETFs, these grayscale ETFs. So let's say you wanted to invest in GBTC and put money from a 401k into it. Then it's available through a long, through a Fidelity or a Wells Fargo etc. So I think that's really the benefit. And then you're moving extra, you know, moving money, you know, in position to take advantage of some of the bigger gains. But there's risk with some of these mini trusts, you know, with some of those other assets.
Chip
Every investment vehicle, any, anything you're going to do investment wise carries is some, some type of risk, you know. Paul Gro Gral, who is the chief legal officer of Coinbase, posted this up here and he said that we finally got the unredacted OCP 2.0 letters from the FDIC. It took a court order, but you can now read them for yourselves below. They show a coordinated effort to stop a wide variety of crypto activity, everything from basic Bitcoin transactions to more complex offerings. Note that the FDIC magically found two more pause letters in this search after saying that it had compiled with an earlier comply with an earlier court order. It's hard to believe that their good faith when their sweater further unravels every single time that we pull on the thread. The new Congress should launch hearings on all of this without delay. And then there it is right there. You can actually go out and, and read the letters. Here they are, the unredacted. You know. Well, some of them are still redacted, but there you go. But you can see them. So good thing that Ellie Tara broke it down for us. She said the 25 unredacted letters show that the FDIC telling banks not to implement certain crypto, refrain from expanding them and in some cases pause all crypto related activity altogether until reviews are completed, questions are answered and determinations reached about what, if any, regulatory filings need to be considered before green lighting such products. So you have a. Jeff, what we always talked about is the fact that these unelected bureaucrats. You have the fdic, which is the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. This ensures bank deposits up to $250,000. So if a bank goes insolvent, then the government will back that up and you'll be made whole. You got a million dollars, you put it, you split up into four payments, you put it in four banks and then you have basically protection for that full $1 million because all four banks go under. The theory is that the government will back that up. But again, if, if it, if it's on a catastrophic level, I don't Know where they have the money because the FDIC doesn't even have the funds. Don't go that deep. But here you have again, a bureaucratic agency which is responsible for federal bank deposits insurance. What are they doing? Telling what. And this is, this is the other thing about the Chevron rule being overturned is you've got them telling. You've got a, your organization whose primary again it goes back to the sec. This is your primary function. Federal insurance deposits. That's it. That's pretty much it. Now they're going beyond. And it's funny because Paul Gruel had to file, you know, a FOIA request to be able to get this out. He had to go through the court and file these requests. And it says it seems okay enough until you consider that those letters were written two, almost three years ago and there have been little to no movement on banks since being able to custody or offer products related to digital assets. So what did this do? This basically slowed the adoption of. We're always talking about, well, you know, mainstream adoption. We're going to get there and honestly, whether you like banks or not, the easiest way to get there for the, for everybody is like, hey, you don't trust this exchange, you don't trust that exchange. You've been banking, your family's been banking here for the last 50, 60 years at whatever bank, local bank, whatever. Great. Now you can have, you know, you can custody crypto products but again you got the administration and we've wondered why isn't there anything happening? Why? Because they're being strong armed by, and this is just one arm of the, of the government. But they were strong armament, Jeff. And then you've got, meanwhile it says, Claire, regulatory clarity has remained opaque at best. Well, was the FDIC hiding behind these letters and alleged review periods as a way to slow walk any integration of digital assets into the legacy banking system? Duh. It will be interesting to see by comparison what will be done in three years under an administration that's open to, to crypto and blockchain technology. Jeff, what's your read on this whole thing?
Jeff
Where, where do, where do we start on this? You know, it's, you know, I think, you know, just, just overall, you know, where we need to go. I like, you know, just talking about, you know, the fact, you know, well, looking at the fact of where we've kind of been right on regulatory clarity, where we need to go on regulatory clarity. I like how she says, meanwhile, regulatory clarity has remained opaque at best, you know, up to this point. You know, obviously we need full transparency. We need to know the rules of the road. We can't be stuck in a position that we've been over the past, you know, number of years where, you know, Gary Gensler comes in as an unelected bureaucrat and says everything is clear, you know, but yet from a legality perspective, everyone else is saying, not so clear, you know, so you can't have one guy, this unelected bureaucrat, and then that same unelected bureaucrat having the power to try to write rules. You know, when the whole point, you know, it all comes down to all these other things are great and shiny and flashy and we can talk about all this stuff until there's true regulatory clarity. And through. To get true regulatory clarity of the asset, it's going to have to go through an act of Congress. It can't just be an act of Congress to set up a discussion group to talk about some future dynamic of working with the Senate to then come together to have a discussion over, you know, cryptocurrency. And that's what they passed so far. It's like, oh, we passed a crypto legislation. And everyone's like, yay, they passed crypto legislation. And then you find out that I think the only one that's passed is, oh, well, we're going to get together and we're going to set up a committee that's going to get together to discuss what it'll be like to work with the Senate to pass another bill to maybe discuss, have another discussion over more discussions over crypto. Right. So it's been like just nothing. Everything's been just lacking substance. Scotty, I think, said something about, or someone was commenting on Tom Emmer. That Tom Emmer really hasn't had any, you know, traction so far. You know, he had a lot of talk. We had him on the show. So if you go to on the chain IO and you search up Tom Emmer, you can see the interview that we did with Tom Emmer. But what, what can you do when you have no control over Congress, you have no control over the presidency. Doesn't matter what. If you have amazing legislation, put it in front of Congress, they're not going to sign it. You don't have true partners on the other side that really have a passion for it, and it's proven like what just in that statement. Meanwhile, regulatory clarity has remained opaque at best. So just think about that. If there's no clarity, you have a. An unelected bureaucrat running rogue, and then you have elected officials that could care less. And then the real true test was the fact that they had presented under Warren Davidson, had presented the Token Taxonomy Act, I think three or four times in front, in front of three different congressional seatings. And in each scenario they were, well, they were in front of Maxine Waters at the time zero traction. So we already knew that that side didn't have an appetite. And, and so now you come all these years forward and then we, when you don't have power of everything where you know it's going to get to the Senate, murky at best, goes to the President probably going to get vetoed or ignored, you know, and so you have all these issues. Now is where we're going to see the traction Chip. It's now starting now is where we can test. So if they don't pick up pro crypto legislation and pass things through the House and the Senate right now, and then it doesn't get to the President's desk for a signature to at least start with something as simple as the Token Taxonomy act, which made small amendments to the IRS rule of 1986. And then you have the securities Exchange act of 33 and 34. So if you make those minor amendments there was some more to it. That is the beginning stages of making transparency within regulatory clarity or having a transparent process and you know, and, and oversight to this regulatory clarity. Now we're, now we're moving chip. Now we're on the right path now where the test starts January 20th, 21st. That's when it all starts.
Chip
Can someone explain the rarity factor of the yetis? They all seem to be X of 491. Is that the purchase amount? That's actually the minted amount. So what's unique about this one, why it's priced a little bit higher, is there are only 589 of these badass yetis Blue Tribe and you can see here that it says 16 XRP 83 of the 589 are minted. So on a rarity factor like this one here, for example, this one is, it's more Rare because it's 53 of 491 until they're all minted out, then you can only disclose what the, what the total amount of rarity is. And if you come also here, if you look at these guys, if, let's go and look at this one here. If you look at the properties here so you can see a little bit about it. So the rarities show up under here too. So this is fit why this is 53 is because it's, it's part of the Pathfinder clan. There's you know, breakdown of different clans inside of the, inside the tribe itself. Blue eyes, two eyes. Some of them have, are even more rare. Have one. The fact that the shape of the eyes, the hair. You can see the, this square eyes, not em. Don't have that. The, the name. They all have a unique name which is in itself pretty interesting. Let me go back here. Click back here. I'll show you as we go over here to the names you can see. And again this is like if you really want to dive deep, here is a real deep dive. But here are the different ones of what's showing on this page right here. But if you see this one, 407 other ones that have been minted have unique names. And these are the type of names, right? Even the pronunciation there. This is Vinvald, right? Then you've got Ormelar, then you got Ormhild. So each one of them has their own unique name in the. Based on the, the badass Yeti language. This is Noah Tune, this is Nisa, you know, so these have. You can click on these. That's why it's 0.2. The other, the White tribe doesn't have unique names. There are more of the White tribe as well. So if I look at the White tribe. There we go right there. So there are 1445 and this one's 30 minted. There's not too many left of the Blue Tribe, man. There's only 17 is left. And this will be fully minted out. It'll be done and it'll just be aftermarket stuff. But thank you for asking the question. It's a good one and that's what you should be doing. Asking a lot of questions about what that is.
Jeff
It is great. Yeah, I like that. You know, because when we look at the backstory of the Yetis, you know, and, and everything that went into it and looking at the distinction between the tribes, the Blue Tribe, you'll notice there are no elders. And the elders are, you know, they carry the clan lore. The elders are the go to for you know, any of the clan issue. They're the judges, you know, the jury. The Blue Tribe stands alone.
Chip
Right?
Jeff
They don't, they don't have that. They have more of a, a republic process. Let's call it that.
Chip
There you go. There you go. Interesting how that come they are like that. More monkey business. Do you guys have any bad girl Yetis? Well, there's a couple that if you look through there, you might see some, some bad girl type yetis. But for them, you know, you have to look very carefully there. But yeah, Michael Monteclar says all this other junk will be gone. Companies like B Rise can change over. ISO 2002 will survive. Many companies try to switch over to the process. Just watch Fanatic for a frantic. Yeah, I mean the ISO is just the messaging standard, you know, the ISO 2,00 22. But as we see, you know, the, the people that are going to adopt and change with the industry are going to survive and there's going to be a lot of that will go by the wayside. So that's how it is. Yetis in the metaverse. Yeah, still working on that. Yeah, man, no problem. Didn't realize there's so many variables behind a yeti's rarity. Yeah, there's a lot of them. That's what's cool is when you go, this is what I love about what they set up over there on XRP Cafe because you can click into them. You can actually go into each one of them and look at the rarities and what makes them unique. And that's. And again, that's a lot of work went into it from Jeff and I from that standpoint of like, you know, kind of deciding what they would look like and sort of that whole, sort of, you know, crafting it together. So yeah, a lot of work went into it, but it was a great. It was a lot of fun and enjoy.
Jeff
John Deaton realizing on the badass white truck for some reason they. The rarity isn't showing.
Chip
Yeah, that's really weird. I don't know why the rarity is not showing. I'm gonna have to hit those guys up and find out why it's not showing up. I saw that.
Jeff
I don't know about the properties for them too. Right. They're different than the. The blue Tribe.
Chip
I don't know if you showing up.
Jeff
Yeah. And they really. It should be. Yeah, yeah. The rarities are the percent.
Chip
Yeah. But they're not showing up underneath the other. Shut up.
Jeff
There's no rarity. The properties are there just no rarity.
Chip
Oh, the rarity's not showing. Yeah, I see what you're saying. So the rarity's not showing underneath.
Jeff
You know, the Scooby Doo. Same thing even on. On the blue yetis from the clan name is going to influence, you know, over. Because it was. These are kind of as an overall, you know, within the tribe. So they're part of the white tribe. That's no distinction. There's only a certain number of ash yetis. Whether they have armor, no armor, that what the background might look like, you know, influences on this, the mouth expression, the eye color similar to the blue truck. These are a little bit different. The head, if there's any type of differentiator, if they have a shield, you know, and then if they have a weapon, what's the exact weapon? Teeth. No teeth. So there's like interesting appearance differences, you know, between you know, each of the, each of the, the yetis. So that's it.
Chip
Deep. It feels pretty deep, Jeff.
Jeff
It does. It's pretty amazing. You know, I mean that's kind of as a starting point when we think about what the possibilities are within NFTs.
Chip
Right?
Jeff
It's about the graphic. You know, we're creating, you know, some artwork. You know, you're then building in, looking at rarities like from a collectible perspective. And then we see, you know, others like that. You can take it to another level.
Chip
Right.
Jeff
And it's that everyone's testing the, the bounds of where the NFTs can fit in. When we start seeing NFTs moving into real world utility as a marker for ownership of real world asset, that to me is going to be really exciting and interesting because then you can show I own proof and it's on the blockchain and that's transferable.
Chip
Right.
Jeff
So that's going to be very cool.
Chip
Yeah. John Deon said U.S. strategic Bitcoin Reserve what about Satoshi? During my run for Senate I disclosed I have 80% of my net worth in bitcoin. And this guy Ice Cube said well, well, well. Another XRP grifter who has most of his money in bitcoin. Lol. These guys are comical. They endorse XRP to earn your trust and then they try to push you towards bitcoin. People who really understand what's going on from the 40,000 foot view don't own one bitcoin. And so I clicked on this one, this, this little AI thing to explain this post and then this came up using Grok Grock said Ice Cube criticize individuals who endorse XRP who primarily invest in bitcoin. Suggested a lot. The post references John Dean, a well known crypto lawyer and XRP supporter who disclosed 80 holding. So it's kind of cool. If you want to get a little bit more history behind a different post, you can click, click on that grok thing which is kind of a cool thing. But then John Deaton took him to the woodshed pretty steadily. And John Deaton did it in a very nice way. He said. I don't usually respond to silly posts, but I'm a I'm generous New Year's mood. Plus I'm in a cab to Canada to meet Jay from Spend the Bits first from day one I've always disclosed the fact that I own more BTC than xrp. He disclosed that on when we first had him on after the rid of Mandamus he when we had him on a week ten days after that he filed that. He was very transparent about that. He says. In fact, I publicly disclosed many times that I sued the SEC over its gross overreach against xrp. Although I was the first person to publicly disclose that the ETH free pass. I also owned three to four times more in ETH than I did in xrp. You see, it isn't always about your own bags, but it's about what's right. I've also publicly disclosed that after I sue the sec, I acquired a lot more XRP in the fight against the sec. But most people would agree that I had a solid investment in XRP from the beginning. Guess what? That too has been publicly disclosed. Here's what here's what Charlie Gasparino and Ellie Terrett wrote about me and XRP in their huge research article on the SEC v. Ripple case. Deaton was incre was incensed as he watched his 600,000 dollar NXRP go up in smoke. But he began to read up on securities law be quickly concluded that he had a case since the SEC's actions while directed at Ripple and its leadership had more disparate impact, crushing passive holders of XRP who aren't involved in the company's platform. Finally, all you have to do is look up my disclosures to the FEC when I ran for U. S Senate. It's all publicly available information. He put us laughing at the time of disclosure. August 24th I disclosed publicly as an XRP investment ranging in value between 1 and 5 million dollars. That was the value in August of 24. Maybe do a little research next time. Happy New Year. Took him to the woodshed. Man, that's amazing. That was fantastic. And we've got two more. We got two more articles. We got two Ripple things going on here. Related. Let's put some video up here.
C
So excited I finally made it to the show. Let's go. Hi, I'm Jana Novikova and this is Crypto. In a minute. If we make a parallel to traditional finance self custody is like keeping your funds, your money at home under a mattress. And managed custody is like keeping your money at the bank. So self custody means you're in complete control of your cryptocurrency. You manage your own private keys. These are master passwords to your funds. So you are also, you're not relying on any third parties and you have full control over your assets. However, this means you are also entirely responsible for security. So if your private keys get lost or stolen, then you most likely will lose your funds. Managed custody is like having a digital bank handling your crypto. Third parties, like exchanges and custodians, store and protect your assets. They manage all the technical complexities and provide recovery options if you lose access. But you are trusting them with your funds and they could also become compromised or cut your access. And right on time.
Chip
They must have a giant stopwatch that you have to. But that's, that's, that's Yana Namiko from, from Ripple talking about the idea between self custody, trying to explain self custody and then manage custody. Right. And I think some of the more this is where, if the FDIC was worth anything, this is where they would actually start to ensure crypto deposits. But that's going to be pretty difficult under an administration where three years ago they're writing letters about telling banks stronger and saying like, don't do this. It's the FDIC telling you not to do it. So they don't want to be any trouble. So they just kind of lay low and they pretend not to. And then. Jeff, do you know who Fred Armisen is? This is Fred Armisen. He was on Saturday Live. He was in.
Jeff
Oh yeah, Yes, I do know.
Chip
He's, you know, he's, he was in what's, what's some of his shows? Brooklyn 9 9. He was in, you know, a bunch of stuff. Right. So on the, on the front Armisen show, Jazzy Cooper was on there and she had a couple things to say.
Jeff
Who just kind of the last question I want to hit on and that is priorities for 2025 with XRPL. Jazzy, I'll stay with you. What are some of the next big steps for the Defi ecosystem? I know you're working a lot on that that you can share with us.
D
Yeah, yeah, definitely. I'm super excited for 2025. A couple big things that we have on our product roadmap on XXX are the MPT token, which is a new token standard that is purpose built to support real world assets. So we've proposed that as an amendment to the XRP ledger. We're waiting for the validator community to decide whether or not they want to adopt that, but we believe that that's a really strong foundation for tokenizing real world assets from there. I think while tokenization is a huge tailwind in the industry, eventually tokenizers are going to wonder, okay, what do I do with it now that it's on chain? How can I extract value for myself for my users? And that's where defi protocols come in. So two that we're especially excited about our permission decks. So that will power Ripple payments initially and then hopefully other institutional trading use cases thereafter. And that basically allows for on chain decentralized trading in a permissioned environment, but built in a way such that there can be arbitrage with the open markets and really liquidity maximized in that regard. So perfect kind of rails for institutional trading to be brought on chain. The second one I'm especially excited about is lending on xrpl. Mainnet will originally start with collateralized credit origination or apologies uncollateralized credit origination with off chain underwriting and then from there start to bring collateral on chain as well towards the end of 2025. So that really rounds out our focus from a Ripple perspective on xrpl, which is three use cases in particular payments trading and then lending again, targeting those existing fintechs and financial institutions.
Jeff
All right, so that's, you got a big, you got a big list there of stuff to get done. So kudos on you.
Chip
Okay, that's not for Emerson. That's actually Paul Baron, Jeff. But he looks, every time I watch him, that's Paul Baron. I was like, and that's Fred Armiston. I was like, my God. I. Every time I see Paul Baron, I can't, I can only see Fred Armisen. I'm like, but it would be cool if Fred had a crypto show, but he doesn't. That's Paul Baron network and he does.
Jeff
Great interviews, comedy of it all. I'm like, where's the comedy gonna, gonna cut in?
Chip
I was like trying to say that with a straight face. I'm like, Fred Armor said as a show, no, he does not have a crypto show. But by the way, big shout out to James Rule who posted that clip, who also, you know, avidly, you know, kind of pops in from time to time to check out the show. But yeah, James Rule found that clip and I was like, wow, some big, big things on the table for, for Ripple this year. But yeah, Paul Baron is not Fred Armorson, although they could be brothers.
Jeff
Aaron makes so much more sense.
Chip
Brett Armisen as a show, can you imagine that? Yeah, he's, he's left comedy and he's now doing serious stuff. I'm telling you, man. I mean, what in the hell, Jeff? I mean for real. Charles Funny. Yeah, so.
Jeff
So Jeff, it's on the main net.
Chip
Yeah, I believe so. Yeah, I believe it is. Yeah. Main net stuff. You can look up the proposal. We'll have to check them out. The Mario Nelfo put this up. He said Trump to be sentenced in a hush money case on January 10, days before the inauguration. Justice Merch on set sentencings for January 10th after Trump's conviction on 34 felony counts.
Jeff
He needs to be removed from the bench.
Chip
Yeah. This unprecedented decision comes as Trump prepares return to the White House following his reelection. They're just trying to say he's a convicted felon. So you know, like, so you know, like they were saying like convicted felons can't enter Canada. So he couldn't go, he couldn't go abroad any. This is just a bunch of garbage stuff. But Charles Hoskinson weighed in on this. That's what I love always appreciate about Charles. He's never one to, to stay silent. He's always going to be transparent. He's gonna always tell you what he thinks. He goes, remember, no one is above the law except for when Hunter gets 11 year blanket pardon. It's also in our nation's interest to sentence the president elect 10 days before he takes office for a hush money case that prosecuted a crime that happened 10 years ago with no victim. Apparently the President elect isn't doing anything more important like deciding how to run the country, managing the turnover of several wars and selecting over 5, 000 personnel. If you're a Democrat and you wonder why you lost the election, you might want to start here. Beautifully, so beautifully said, Charles.
Jeff
That's, that's so spot on, you know, which is why the Democrat Party has lost, you know, a huge, huge number of their supporters, you know, and they could have, they could have chosen the right path. They could have said, hey, you know, we're going to support crypto, we're going to embrace the industry, we're going to do what's right for regulatory clarity. We're not going to, you know, use lawfare against our opponents from a, whether it's congressional or presidential perspective. We're going to stick to the straight and narrow. But they decided to take a different path, you know, and, and when you have A whole bunch of activists out there, like that judge who is clearly, clearly an activist and clearly is doing things specifically out of spite. And you know, to your point, you know, all they want is a media said that's all they've ever wanted is the media sound bite. And, and it's so destructive and demoralizing to this country. And like Charles said, you know, you want to know why you lost? Start there, go look in the mirror, go do some self retrospective, you know, take a step back and then figure out what you did wrong to harm this country, right? Whether all these unelected bureaucrats, you know, across the board, you know, you'll see they are, they've all been extremely damaging to this country. Whether it's Gary Genzer or it was Fauci or it was this, a justice like that, you know, making really bad decisions based on activism versus law, you know, and it just, you just stack them up and then you say, hey, you know, I wonder, you know, why, why so many have left, you know, why are so many embracing, you know, why is it that way? People from, you know, parties and even Bernie Sanders has come out and said, you know, there's one specific area wants to work on which are high interest credit cards and cap it at 10% and something Trump wanted. Here's Bernie Sanders came out and said he was going to write a bill and see if he can get it sponsored and passed, you know, because he wants to embrace exactly what Trump's talking about. Also not to score, you know, some sort of a point somewhere else, you know, to try to make someone look bad. But, you know, you're seeing this coming together across the board, you know, well, Bernie Sanders might, you know, be doing that. But you know, with, with, you know, you're seeing, you know, Tulsi Gabbard and RFK and all these, you know, amazing people coming together in this administration. That's how we know things are on the right path. Charles knows it. You know, this space is going to benefit from it.
Chip
Everyone knows it. Jeff, apparently this is Jim D's endorsement of Jazzy Cooper right there.
Jeff
To get out of my Puffy, apparently.
Chip
I had a senior moment, but I didn't, I probably didn't realize it because it was a senior moment. So I probably didn't realize I had a senior moment. But apparently there was a senior moment in there somewhere. I don't know exactly where. As of right now, Trump's is not a convicted felon right now. It. They just keep, this is just a book to keep him giving the Title. That's correct. That's exactly what they're doing. But again, it'll be overturned. I mean, Trump can get an office and part himself. Does he want to do that? Probably not. He probably wants to do an overturn. Probably wants to go through the court system and overturn it. Right. So I like that. She liked that last one. I have to say that it's, it's incredibly crazy because, Jeff, what's really happening here is like the Young Turks is probably the biggest and most widespread you know, podcast that you know, is on the left. And Anna Kasparian, who along with Chang Uger do the co host the show together. And this is remarkable. When I start seeing this, I'm starting to see a slow turnaround of events with, with Anna Krespirian. And this is, this is she. Listen how she talks about this quote here. And then I want to get your.
E
Reaction, read a quote that resonated with me more than this one does. So I'm going to read it. Okay. So you don't get red pilled overnight. It's the issues that affect your everyday life first, and then you connect them with people and then you connect it with a party. That is so true. And that is what I was trying to get across to people. When you're affected day to day by quality of life issues and all you hear from the Democratic Party is shut up. No, it's not happening. And if it's happening, it's not that big of a deal, man. That really does red pill people. It builds resentment toward the party. And I really think the Democrats need to pivot away from that because they're going to keep losing if they think that that type of treatment of voters, that type of disrespect toward voters is going to get them anywhere.
Chip
Whoa. What do you think about that? You know what's weird is that we've lost the ability to control. To stop the video. Jeff.
Jeff
Yeah.
Chip
Do you not see? There's no play button. There's nothing on there. It's like gone away. I don't know what happened.
E
I've never read a quote anyway.
Chip
But that was a fun. I wanted to just pause it on that quote, but that quote is spectacular, dude. This is somebody on the left who is gradually. And I even, even Uyghur, where I never thought, you know, he came out with a cool post not too long ago and he said, I'm. Listen, people are asking me if I'm doing a pivot. Has anything happened? Look, all I can tell you is I Don't hate the people on the right. And that's a great place to start. We shouldn't hate people. We can have our differences. We, we can say like, hey, we don't, you know, and I, I'm constantly on acts going back and forth to people. I don't block them. They constantly oppose what I post and they, they're, they're on the left and it's okay, man, you can voice your opinion. I'm not one of these people who has a frail, you know, ego, you know, like, you know, other people out there in the crypto community which will remain nameless, but, you know, their egos are so crushed if you criticize them or tell them no, you're absolutely wrong or your research is wrong or you post the real research, they just block you. And I'm like, no, man, this, you can't be somebody who believes in free speech and then, and then censor everybody. Now if they're threatening you, that's a different story, right? If it's the spam accounts pretending to be Brad Garlinghouse or another crypto influencer, fair enough. But I mean, we really are gonna have fragile egos to the point of where we got to go. I'm block you. I'm block you. I'm gonna block you. I don't do it. I just personally don't believe in it, Jeff.
Jeff
You don't believe, you don't believe in blocking people? How much?
Chip
Well, people I get in arguments all the time about political stuff. All the time, Jeff. Non stop political. And I engage with it. And I probably shouldn't, probably spend my time more wisely, but, you know, you.
Jeff
Go back and forth so crazy that people are out there blocking, you know, I mean, how, how, you know, small do you have to be to, you know, unless it's spam or something else, you know. But if you're gonna block someone just because they have a different opinion, you know, that to me is, is crazy.
Chip
Well, that's, well, not only is it crazy, Jeff, but it's. Speaking of, you know, Nancy Pelosi was heading back to Washington and she was blasted out of her mind. I don't know, she was like drinking vodka. I don't know what she was doing, but she apparently was not cohesive enough to understand that she was a little bit inebriated. But she was on the plane heading to Washington and did this. And then we had Dan Scavino reply to that post with a different video. But look at this, Jeff.
Jeff
Nancy, I'm on my way to Washington to proudly represent the people of San Francisco in Congress. I'm honored to do so to share our San Francisco values. Thank you for giving me that honor.
Chip
There's the drink in her left or right hand? I can't figure it out right there. Anyway, people are accusing her of being drunk. You know, she just seems just completely out of it. I don't know, maybe she's totally cohesive. Well, Dan Scavino, who's in the Trump campaign, posted this video. Welcome to San Francisco. San Francisco is a spectacular fun city on the central coast of California, about 350 miles from LA. It's bursting with a youthful energy that will guarantee you have an amazing and unforgettable adventure. On the northern end of the San Francisco peninsula is San Francisco's finest shopping region. The city invites you to explore hip neighborhoods, elegant buildings, beautiful parks and gardens and enjoy a liberal, relaxed atmosphere. And there's no end of things to see. God damn every single one of you. Little ass demon Bl. No good piece of.
Jeff
That's a.
Chip
There, there. There you go, Jeff. I mean welcome. Welcome to San Francisco. My God.
Jeff
That's a little bit kicked right in the face.
Chip
Yeah, you got kicked right in the face. And Jeff, you know the, the media it was. They said they had no idea that Biden was out of it. Like they had no idea. And this is, this is what was going on for four years.
F
It is used to make the brew beard. My memory is fine. The president of Mexico Sisi did not want to open up the gate. A solid meeting with. With the. And meter on from Germany, I mean from France looked at me and said, said. I said I'm going to be a president of everybody whether you live in a red state or green state. I. Anyway, I don't wanna. I don't wanna.
Jeff
Anyway, I'm making Roe v1 the best.
F
Way to get something done. If you, if it holds near and dear to you that you like to be able to. Anyway. Of Putin's kleptocracy.
Jeff
Yeah, yeah.
F
$50,159,000 billion dollars led. America is a nation that can be defined in a single word. I was going to put him. What am I doing here? One, two.
Chip
I was wondering for the last four years.
F
The.
Chip
Anyway. That's brutal, Jeff. That's hard to watch. It really is. And you could just. I mean that's just a week right there. It's just. It was insane what we had said. And then. So Kamala Harris, who is the vice president still. Oh my God, she screwed up. She apparently doesn't know the Pledge of Allegiance, which, by the way, if you're outside the U.S. you know, you grew up in school. Basically every morning I pledge allegiance to the flag. The United States of America. Right? The whole Pledge of Allegiance. She doesn't know the Pledge of Allegiance. He's the vice President of the United States and doesn't know the pledge. Me, in pledging allegiance to our flag. Oh, pledge allegiance to the United. Of the United States of America. And to the. She screwed it up from the beginning. God, Jeff, what is up with that? I mean, seriously, Drink too.
Jeff
She sounded a little inebriated.
Chip
Yeah, she sounded a little bit. And is it too soon to play this? Is it too soon to play this clip about Jimmy Carter? Let's see.
Jeff
I don't know.
G
He was a terrible president. That's why I lost in a landslide after his one term. And if it's possible, I think he was even a worse ex president because of his meddling in US Foreign policy, because of his saddling up to dictators around the world, because of his vehement views, anti Israel views, and more than dabbling in anti Semitism. Over the years, he often vexed Democrats. Obama didn't even have him speak at his 08 convention. He put Bill Clinton in a terrible foreign policy box on a North Korea nuclear issue. I think he was a guy who had a huge ego and believed that he was uniquely positioned to do all these things even after the American people had roundly and soundly rejected his leadership. So I respect people who run for president and get elected president, but in his particular case, I think he time it again proved why he was never suited for the office.
Jeff
Who can contest that?
Chip
Nobody. Nobody.
Jeff
Nobody can contest that. It's 100. Spot on.
Chip
Let's do the giveaway, Jeff, because I got to get out of here.
Jeff
Look what time it is.
Chip
Yeah, I didn't realize the time so fast.
Jeff
So there's two giveaways that we got to do real quick. The first one, I'm just gonna do a transfer while we're getting ready to do the drawing. But on over on the Discord. McDreamy over on the Discord won this bad guy right here. So this is the badass YETI that. Look at it. Look how nice that one is. That is. Check this out. So when we look, we can look at the ash. There it is. One of the Ash Yetis. Look at all those cool stats on there. I love that ash Yeti. So we're going to transfer this bad boy over to we haven't put any address in there yet. We're going to transfer this bad boy over to McDreamy.
Chip
Go join the Discord. So go join our Discord. It's. I think the link is in the comments down there. But Anyway, we've got 26 registered. I'm gonna pull it. You guys had all day to be typing in yeti, so I'm gonna go ahead and pull the trigger here.
Jeff
There you go. Hang on. Before you pull it, hang on. I gotta do this. Let me clear my Zaman transfer wallet so we can get that done.
Chip
You already type Yeti. It won't register. You only need to type it once. So if you haven't. So there you go. Looks like Anthony got into the drawing there. There we go.
Jeff
Is about to get a cool ass badass yeti. There you go.
Chip
Verify the way. I also had this story too, which is a little bit of a laugh too, but we didn't get to it. But anyway. Ready? Let's go, let's go. Gotta be here. You know the drill. You have to immediately here. I'm getting my wallet, my Zaman wallet address. If you don't have a zombie wallet, tell us you don't have it. If we don't hear it from you that I'm here, then we. We draw again. Here we go. Welcome to the best person to win. Let's go. Who's going to win today?
Jeff
Let's go. There he is.
Chip
Donnie wins. Donnie's the big winner today. Donnie, if you're here, we need you to type in. I'm here. Donnie wins. I'm going to type that in there as well. If you're behind, Donnie wins a B bad ass Yetis type. I'm here in the. Okay, Donnie's there. Okay. I didn't have to put that in. Donnie said he's here. Good. Get your wallet, address. And while you're doing that, good Donnie. Well, congratulations. That is a badass. Another badass Yeti going to a good home. Beautiful, says Chad. Beautiful. Love that. No, Kelly's not kidding. Okay, we do have this story. So let me put this up while we do have this here. I will. I will share this.
Jeff
We're just kidding about it.
Chip
We're not kidding. We don't kid around here. But of course it's, you know, that's what they do. They like the pardon all the people, the convicts. I mean, look what's going over in the UK right now. 250, 000 young girls raped by mostly predominantly one type of people. And because they don't want to be viewed as racist. They allowed it. In one case, two men, two of the fathers showed up to help rescue the girls and they arrested the fathers. So this is the kind of, this is the kind of. So Ker Starmer's time is limited. Overthrow that in the uk. Yeah, in the UK is what I'm talking about. Yeah, but it's, it's just a mess over there, man. It's an absolute mess. I'm looking for the story. Here it is. Let me open that one. Let me open this one and let me open that one. So the other thing about the left is they love to give themselves awards. So here it is right here. Hillary Clinton, George Soros. Seventeen others to be honored with Presidential Medal of Freedom. You know, this, this tells you everything you need to know. And if you want to know why Trump won, here you go. The list of 19 presidential men are, includes former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, billionaire donor, leftist George Soros. The medals presented to individuals who've made exemplary contribution to the leftist party. All prosperity values. And then what's really interesting is they're giving it to Bobby Kennedy, which I found really bizarre since they totally, you know, ostracized, you know, RFK Jr. Which is really strange. Soros founded Open Society, which is just. They're also giving it to Jane Goodall. She was a conservationist scientist. You know, Bill Nye, the fake science guy. This is the Bill Nye, the fake leftist science guy that puts up a guy. YouTube singer Bono is going to be Michael J. Fox, Denzel Washington, people that deserve it. Lionel Messi and Magic Johnson. And also fascia icons is Anna Wintour and Ralph Lauren. And there you go. That's it. Kid you not. That's exactly what it is. And were there other, I think with any other ones listed? Let's see. Yeah, here it is right here. Yeah, so it says right here it says Kennedy, one of Biden's heroes and brother of the late President John F. Kennedy is the father of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. President elect Donald Trump's nominee for Secretary of Health and Human Services. Romney. Oh yeah, Romney's father is getting an award as well. He was the, wasn't he a governor too of, of Massachusetts for a while back in the 60s or 70s.
Jeff
They love their, they love getting their awards. That's what it is.
Chip
They love giving. So posthumously, you're going to have former Defense secretary Ash Carter, civil rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer, Robert F. Kennedy and the former Attorney General. Yeah. So there you go. It's so weird. He's given him, you know, when he ostracized and prevented. It's his supposed hero. But meanwhile he would prevent. They prevented the Democrats and Joe Biden prevented, you know, RFK Jr. From running in the Democrat primary. These people are something, man. Medals are worth. That's right.
Jeff
In the meantime, Chip, we're waiting on Donnie to send.
Chip
Donnie, we need your address, my man. We need it. All these old walking dead zombies ruining the planet. That's right. Well, somebody also made. They said somebody had compared. Let me see if I can pull this up. This was interesting. An interesting stat. Donnie, where is your address? We need your address here.
Jeff
Got to be able to give that bad boy away. Got to make the transfer.
Chip
Yeah, we do.
Jeff
I. I already transferred the other one to the Discord winner. If you guys want to join the Discord. Discord chat. Get that rolling. Been doing announcements and showing the giveaways over there. So we're been doing the automated bot giveaways are really cool because you just register for it right on the. Right on the Discord and then it just announces the giveaway when it's ready. Which is really cool. Obviously with some timing. But let me see if I can send an invoice invite to this Discord. Here we go. Throw that in here. There you go. You can join the Discord right there. We're going to be changing the Discord up a little bit. There's some things that need to be adjusted in the topics just so we can make sure the verifications are working for both the blue and the white tribe for the discount on the badass yetis coffee. So all that's being worked on. A lot of good. A lot of cool things. But we need to see Donnie's.
Chip
Yeah, we do. Because I's got to get going. Gotta get rolling. I don't know where that was, but I need. Where the heck is that? Why can I not find it? Weird.
Jeff
Yes.
Chip
Here we go. I'll find it. Look in it. Yo. Yeah. So this is it. So I did find it. So this is. You know what, what Jim D. Was just commenting on there. As far as the ages can concerned here, but we have. This is Elliot Lee. He posted this. He said that Donald Trump's new cabinet includes several members in their 40s in the chat.
Jeff
Oh, that's so weird. He posts in the chat. I can't see it in the chat.
Chip
I see it. I see it right there.
Jeff
You see it? Yeah, you grab it. That's so weird. How is it that it blocks for some and doesn't block for that makes no sense to me.
Chip
I have to go to the actual. So you can't go to the YouTube sucks.
Jeff
Oh, I see it in the chat now, but it won't appear on the YouTube chat.
Chip
Go Bills, Ravens, Lions, anyone beat the Chiefs. Please. Bumble Ruski, please. We don't need that. Yeah. So this is what he. This is what he was putting up there. There. So this contract. Biden's Cabinet average.
Jeff
I found it. I got it.
Chip
Yeah. Defense 44. J.D. vance, vice president, 40. This contrast with Biden's cabinet average of 59 years. So it's pretty. It's pretty good, right?
Jeff
Here we go. We are going to. Whoops. You know, it's now 20, 25. Did you know that?
Chip
I did know that, Jeff. I'm pretty aware of that.
Jeff
Here we go. All right.
Chip
Season five of the podcast begins this show. Jeff.
Jeff
Oh, man, Season five, That's crazy.
Chip
Justin, as a Chiefs fan, hilarious, by the way.
Jeff
Check the. Check the address. Make sure that it is a valid XRP address. Saying that it says invalid. Let me refresh. Let me cut this. Let me double check. I got the right number. Everything looks accurate. I just copied it.
Chip
By the way, Jeff, this was. Patrick Mahomes was hosting a New Year's party with family and friends over the holidays.
Jeff
Yep.
Chip
There it is right there.
Jeff
See? Nice. Were you there?
Chip
Family and friends. See the rest?
Jeff
Family. That's fun. That's great.
Chip
This is a third. This is a close game. Three points. Let me explain the scenario to you.
Jeff
It's saying invalid.
Chip
It's 4th and. And 35. He hauls the ball down there and it doesn't matter if there's anybody near the receiver. Boom. Oh, pass interference. Nope. Pass interference. Every single time. It's like. It's unbelievable.
Jeff
It has to be a Zaman address. Zaman wallet. That one is not working. It says invalid XRP address. Not even.
Chip
So it's the Chiefs this year. I think the Ravens are pretty, pretty, pretty big. The Ravens are. I love that. Badass. Listen, if the Chiefs are the best team, they're the team to beat. You know, I think my home is going to sit out this week. He's going to rest up, he's going to come back strong. And look, they won two Super Bowls in a row. They can three peat here. I mean, they're the team to beat. They're the best coach, team and all of football. If you want to see how coaching matters, you just have to watch the Chiefs because every single time they are properly and if you watch some of the junior coaches, I call them, the ones that are losing teams who make really bad decisions, don't know how to manage the clock. That is something you could basically do a. You could do a. A workshop on how to coach a team properly and coach to wins. Right. Because they lost a couple of games very close, but they know how to manage the clock and they know how to win. So there you go. So of course people are going to hate.
Jeff
Yeah, Donnie, you have to make sure that. That it is. Make sure it's the receiving Zaman address activated, too.
Chip
The address you have to activate with.
Jeff
Oh, you have to. You have to do. You have to connect it to. Well, you don't have to establish the trust line to XRP Cafe. You just have to be on the Zaman wallet. And when you connect it, you have to activate it.
Chip
And this Jim's making a good point here, too, that you have to make sure that the address is activated and you have to add XRP to it. So is it a new address? If it's a new address, it's 100, man.
Jeff
Why does this happen? Specifically saying it's an invalid address. And I'm trying it.
Chip
Yeah. You want to sit your starters, man, don't. Don't open them up. You don't need the game. You got the first seed. Everything goes through Casey. You know, you don't. You don't need to. Same with the Bills, too. But they're gonna play Josh Allen very quickly because he's got the consecutive streak. I think 145 starts in a row. I don't think anybody. I don't know who else has that stat, but they'll. He'll get a. He'll probably be in for the first, you know, four downs or whatever. Then they'll put, you know, Trinsky in. And the Bills are going to be resting their starters, too. So. The Bills clinched their division five games ago, so they could have basically. I mean, they were just, you know, they were. They're playing for the 1C. But that was, Evan, like two or three weeks ago when, you know, Casey clinched the number one seed. That's what they're playing for. But they won the division back in November, which is crazy if you think about it. And the Dolphins are trying to hang in there. They have. I think they need some help to get in. I know Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is playing the Ravens tonight. And Pittsburgh, usually. I think they've beat them last seven and nine games, so it's weird. Pittsburgh did lose in the regular season, but who knows? They may win tonight, but they can clinch the division. So there's a lot of playoff implications going on.
Jeff
I'm putting it into the activated, so.
Chip
Make sure that the check the first. Make sure it's the send address. So when you go into your zombie wallet, you have to. You have to. Which one is it, Jeff? Which one do you click on the request? Click on the green request.
Jeff
Yep.
Chip
Not the send one. Don't click on the blue send. Click on the green request button at the top and that's where you. That's where you can actually.
Jeff
I can.
Chip
Respect that as well. As long as he doesn't play the whole game. That's dumb on Buffalo, but. Yeah, agreed. Yeah, I mean, shouldn't be playing any of the game, but he's gonna probably get him out there for maybe three downs, whatever, maybe one run. But look, Josh hasn't gotten hurt. You know, Mahomes is getting a little bit banged up. He hasn't had the, you know, the, the offensive line he's had in previous years. He's really well protected. But if it's, if it wasn't for Mahomes ability to scramble. But I mean, you got to look at the guys. Tougher than nails. Guy goes out limping, can barely walk, Boom, he's back in the game. The guy's a competitor for sure. And you gotta have respect for that. I'm sick for Ashton Genty out of Boise, 27 yards short of the record. Oh, man. Wow. Yeah, that's. Come on, man. That's. That really, you know, that's, That's a bummer also too, you know, a lot of, you know, the teams that are. They're going to rest their starters sometimes there's simplifications there, you know, especially you got the mvp. I'm like, I don't care if Josh wins the MVP or not. I mean, if you look at pure stats turn into a football show. Jeff, can you believe this? You know, if you look at the pure stats in the race and Lamar Jackson has had a phenomenal year, man. You cannot discount the year he's had. But there's, you know, if you look at a medio. But look at who he has running back, look at his elite receivers, right? So he's got a lot of weapons now. Josh achieved a lot of numbers rushing, you know, and did a lot with a little bit less. So, you know, it doesn't have really. The star running back doesn't really have, you know, Derrick Williams in the backfield that can average 8 to 10 yards of carry, you know, I mean, powerhouses. But listen, I mean, if you look at pure stats, Lamar all the way.
Jeff
Donnie's saying it's activated. It's a zombie address. What's crazy is that when I put it into. I have it in to the the XRP cafe and it. I've tried multiple.
Chip
Paste the whole address. Check the first three and the last three characters. Make sure the first three and the last three match. Because sometimes you miss. You miss one of them. Or when you copy copied it wrong. If you do it for your wallet, you should be able to just hit the copy button. But again, you know, these are. This is what I always do. Look at the first three and last three. They line up. You know, if we read them back to you there. If you look back at the wallet address.
Jeff
Lowercase R4, capital B and the last three are lowercase X S. And the number one.
Chip
Yeah, there it is. R4B and JKS1. So that's it, Jeff, I got a bail. I guess get to an appointment.
Jeff
That's one.
Chip
But see if you can figure this out. Guys. I'll see you guys in the next one. Jeff, I'll give the reins to you, my man.
Jeff
Yeah. Chip is out of here.
Chip
It's been uploaded. Remember, it's season five new five.
Jeff
Season five episode 700 and what?
Chip
Three? Maybe two. Three. So anyway guys, I'll see you guys in the next one. Chip.
Jeff
Oh, it's out. All right, so that just leaves us. That's it. That's all we got. So I would like to get this taken care of. But you know, if Donnie, you know, keep going through and double checking it. If for some reason. Just double check those last letters. This is the complexity that I found in utilizing and working. Imagine main mainstream adoption trying to go through this entire, you know, process, you know, trying to move. Trying to move money around. You know, it makes it super, super complex. Okay, so let's see. Donnie has a full address now. That's what Jim D. Says. I don't see. Let's see, is it popping up? I don't see it here. Okay, but if. Double check it. Donnie, come back tomorrow. I've got it notated on our spreadsheet over here that you have this bad boy. So that way we know specifically that that one is designated for you. So make that happen. And then we'll have that one ready to give away for you tomorrow. And for some reason, if it doesn't work out, then we're gonna have to give away two tomorrow also. Double go over to the Discord. We're going to be running another, you know, giveaway over on the Discord, which is really cool. And that's all we got. So we will check you guys back out here. Sunday, 8:00pm Eastern Standard Time, whatever time that might be in your country, in your state, wherever you're tuning in from, you guys are pretty amazing. It's always great to see everybody tuning in here. Congrats, Donnie. You know, make sure you get that over to us. Even if you want to DM us over on Twitter, we can make that happen or jump into the Discord. I sent the link on the Discord if you want to jump in there and we can take care of it over on the Discord, either one, until we can get it to work. So here you go. If you guys want that Discord again, go ahead and bounce in there until tomorrow. We'll check you guys out on the next one. Have a great day. Appreciate you guys. See ya. Oh, you know what? Almost forgot to play the outro. That's typically chip is taking care of the outro. So here we go. Ready? Let's do check you guys out. Are you down with otc? Please, like subscribe and click the bell to be notified when the next video drops. And we're back.
