Welcome to on the Chain. This is Jeff here with co host Chip. What is going on, Chip? What's going on? Everybody out there in the on the Chain universe, on the chain world. You guys know who you are. You know the thing. XRP Utility unleashed. You heard it here first. XRP Utility is being unleashed. Flair making some big bold moves and Trump's China tariff crackdown. That's what we're going to get into.125 tariffs on China, holding them accountable. A lot of things to discuss here. A lot of great developments in the space. Almost every single day is a new development, something new to learn. So we're getting ready. Plus, stand by, because later in today's show, we're going to be giving away, you guessed it, a badass yeti.
Chip
And starting on Wednesday, we're going to be giving away four plots of land an expector. So that's gonna be pretty amazing. We'll start that on Wednesday. You don't want to miss that. They're valued around 100 bucks each. Sweet. You can pick part in the expect reverse and start building and have a place there, man. Have a place in expert reverse. So it'll be great. You ready to kick this off, guys? Let's go. Welcome to on the Chain. Where is everybody coming in from? Let us know, let us know. We already know that John Saxon's coming in from. From Celebration, Florida. Celebrate good times. Come on.
Jeff
John Saxon. There he is.
Chip
John Saxon, the actor and also the yeti. There you go. We knew it wouldn't take long, but yeah, that is Chad nauseam. Beautiful. I saw that last night and I was making me laugh. On the Chain, Pittsburgh, PA.
Jeff
Daytona. There you go. No, no, now he spelled it out. Oh, no.
Chip
We can't even do it when it's spelled out.
Jeff
This is.
Chip
This is so sad.
Jeff
Oh, Omega, Omega.
Chip
Omega, Kansas. Thank you for that. Yeah, Justin, you gave us the. You gave us the. The, you know, the cheat sheet. I couldn't get it right. It's Omega, man. It's omega. There we go.
Jeff
Holy cow. Ducky McScrooge is in fall River, Massachusetts. I've actually been to Fall River, Massachusetts.
Chip
I'm sorry, Jeff. Yep. There's so much weird stuff going on in Massachusetts. So much stuff right here. Hola, New Jersey. And Asheville for vacation. Asheville's a great place.
Jeff
That's right.
Chip
It's in North Carolina, right? I think so. Okay, look at this. We have, of course, Ottawa, Ottawa, Nebraska.
Jeff
County. If you were in a smart Spelling it out.
Chip
Yeah, you gotta spell it out. There we go. Hello, Jeff and Chip. What's going on, everybody? What's going on? Look at Justin. First one. First one to yell out yeti. You guys know what to do. Do the yeti thing.
Jeff
Second one.
Chip
Yeah, we got three. So there we have it. So let's jump into a couple things here. First thing we want to do is we want to start off a little bit. You know, Brad Garlinghouse appeared on Fox Business. There's a good interview with him. Liz Claiborne. I have to say, Liz Claiborne's great. She asked all the right questions. She. It's so good to have somebody because most of the time when they're talking about crypto, they just. The producers put a sheet in front of them. They just read it. So tell me your next. You know, but she's down on the whole thing. She's been following her for years. So I thought the questions were really good. New Jersey. Thank you, Vincent. New Jersey.
Jeff
Oh, my gosh, this is gonna get.
Chip
More embarrassing at the moment. New Jersey. New Jersey could have put C in there like New Jer seed C. Oh.
Jeff
My God, that's getting bad.
Chip
Thank you, Justin. Justin started a revolution. You see how that works? Jim D. What's up? Jim D. Hello, John. Fellow Ottawa.
Jeff
I love Ottawans.
Chip
Our Canadian brethrens.
Jeff
That's right.
Chip
God, I. I really hope that, you know, I really hope that the Pierre wins, not Trudeau. Polly. I really do, man. I just. He's got a lot of momentum, but I don't know, we'll see, man. He can see. He's got some good plans. He's got some good tax incentives. You want what he wants to do with housing prices. I mean, how can you not vote for that? I'm just. What I don't understand, after the last. Whatever was 11 years of Trudeau, how do you not vote for that? Like, at least, like, I'm not really conservative, but, you know, that doesn't sounds pretty good. I mean, because, you know, if you're in, like, Toronto, you can buy a shack. It's like $1.1 million. It's like, it's like a 700 square foot place. I mean, the real estate prices are crazy. So I mean, who doesn't want to vote for that 30 minutes away or so? You guys gotta. You guys got. There you go. Reborn John and. And Jessica. There you go. Yeah, I hope so, too. Let's hope, man, look at that. Because we know what we need to do is we need to make Canada great again, is what we need to have Happen. We need to make it happen. Saying it right there, Trudeau was and is a disaster. I'm almost thinking Carney's worse. Now. The funny part about Carney is, like, when he was running the central bank over there in. In England, they don't even like them. They're like, nobody's come out and spoke like, oh, this is the guy. Yeah, you want him to be the prime minister. Nobody has said that. So he's not even getting endorsements when he was running the central bank over there, and. And then he moved his businesses to New York. I mean, it just looks really bad. But some people I know are. They're gonna vote for him. I don't know.
Jeff
I don't get it. I don't. I mean, when you see the direction Canada has been moving in, it just makes no sense.
Chip
Yeah, it makes no sense, and it's just sad, you know? I mean, it really is. I mean, it's just the whole thing is bizarre. Let's go ahead and. Let's watch this. This is a really good interview. It's a little bit long, but we'll break it down afterwards. But let's go. Let's watch this here. Right? Here we go. This is on. This was on Fox Business.
Jeff
No volume.
Chip
Oh. You know why? Because. God, why is this so. Why is it. Why do they make it so difficult? Jeff, I just don't understand. Stupid.
Jeff
Yes, I want to share my audio.
Chip
Well, I just discovered something. When you're using Chrome and you're sharing a different one, you got. You can't do that. So you have to. Hang on a second. It'll take me a second here to redo the other window because it's insane what you have to do to share something with volume. It seems like a lot. And let me sit through the commercial again. Already sat through.
Jeff
Everybody wants to see the commercial on Fox Business.
Chip
Nobody wants to see it might be cool. It's not. I'm watching it right now.
Jeff
Might be a pharmaceutical commercial. Oh, there we go.
Chip
No, it's not. Something about Lilo and Stitch and T Mobile. I don't know exactly what's going on, so let me see if I can go ahead and share the screen. There we go. Finally. Yes, we have success.
Jeff
Let's share it with some audio. All right, here we go. Wrap it up.
Chip
Turn the volume up here. All right, let's get it full screen. And here we go. We're off to it.
Liz Clayman
Fox Business alert. President Trump fulfilling his promise to make the U. S. More crypto friendly. Check out this Reaction in Bitcoin, xrp, Ethereum and Litecoin. Litecoin, all popping anywhere from two and a half.
Chip
But they did do something interesting, though. They did add XRP at the bottom. Like, oh, yeah, look, we need, we need to have xrp because we're having Brad Garlinghouse on here. So that was probably Liz that said that, like, and I still don't know why Litecoin? Why Litecoin? Does anybody own it anymore? Does anybody?
Jeff
I mean, because they've always done it that way.
Chip
But how is it $76? What is it nobody talks about anymore? I never even, I didn't even know it was still around. So let's see.
Liz Clayman
A percent for Bitcoin and XRP up three and a half percent here. The pop comes less than 24 hours after President Trump signed into law a bill terminating a rule which would have allowed the Internal Revenue Service to force certain crypto brokers to disclose tax information on their platform's transactions. The original rule would have gone into place starting in 2026. The crypto crowd, no doubt enjoying today's pop. But you know what, if you rewind the clock here a bit, they have not recovered the losses endured since the president unveiled his tariff plan last Wednesday. Bitcoin still has about 2% to go here to break even. We've got XRP about 4.97% in the and Ethereum down 18 and a third percent. But is today sort of the reawakening of the march back to the highs crypto saw after the November presidential election? And perhaps a friendlier SEC that may be less litigious with the lawsuits here. Joining us now in a Fox Business exclusive, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse. Ripple's XRP is the native token of the decentralized blockchain XRP ledger. Litigious. As recently as our conversation with Hester Purse of the sec, one of the commissioners, she said that the lawsuit against Ripple was still hovering. Where is it now? Because last night we started to hear that it may be disappearing.
Brad Garlinghouse
So we have reached agreement with staff. And usually what happens is you reach staff, staff makes recommendation to the commission, and then the commission votes. So anytime we make announcements about that, we are clear that we've reached agreement with staff. The commission hasn't yet voted, but what we've agreed is to dismiss and move on. We're actually.
Chip
You're hearing sound, right? I'm just saying there's no sound, but there's sound. There's something. You turn it up, there's sound. You turn it up.
Brad Garlinghouse
We had put in escrow a potential fine of $125 million. We're actually taking most of that back, including the interest that had been earned along the way. And I think it's just evidence that the, the former, the Gensler se. The SEC was on the wrong side of the law. And thanks to the new leadership at the SEC and in the White House, I think we're seeing a much more constructive, much more pro innovation. We want these industries to grow at home.
Liz Clayman
When you say Most of the 125 million you had parked in that little fund, in case of the worst case scenario, what's left?
Brad Garlinghouse
The SEC is going to end up with a $50 million. The US government's going to get $50 million. We've even talked about making that available in XRP. This is a major step forward. You know that I think if you kind of zoom out and look at this.
Chip
What's that, Jeff?
Jeff
Did you hear that? It's gonna make it available in xrp.
Chip
Well, he said he can't make it available on xrp. You put it in that strategic stockpile. So let's see. That would be a nice thing. But you know, you had to get that in there. I was, I like that he put that in there.
Brad Garlinghouse
Oh yeah, the, the Trump administration is absolutely living up to their promises. You guy David Sachs leading the effort at the Scott Besant and certainly now Paul Atkins getting confirmed. I think yesterday. These are people who are focused on how do we make sure this is an industry that can thrive at home with sensible regulation, common sense, and that's not what we had for the last four years.
Liz Clayman
What would you hope to see? Talk to David Sack.
Chip
Well, Jeff, we called it before anybody did. We called a MAGA six months before the election by putting a few things together. But it's great to hear in the White House. President Trump's got percent right. So it's great that he can finally be in a position position where you can talk about it. Yeah. So it's great to hear this sort of feedback. This is one of the better interviews that Brad's done. He feels very comfortable, very at ease, you know, very smooth.
Jeff
Yeah.
Liz Clayman
And what have you said? Hey, David, this at least needs to be front and center.
Brad Garlinghouse
The two things that have the most momentum in Capitol Hill around a stablecoin legislation and then something we generally call a market structure bill. Stablecoin legislation because we haven't yet had clarity about at what point are banks involved, not involved, what kind of licensing is appropriate. Ripple recently launched our Stablecoin under a New York trust license through the New York Department of Financial Services, which we think is kind of the gold standard for how to be regulated in this market. But having federal legislation that is providing clarity for the big players like USDC Circle as well as tether is super important. I think we're going to see that sooner rather than later.
Liz Clayman
You know, President Trump has made big strides that are very pro crypto. It's got to be great for somebody like you. However, the price of, let's just say bitcoin, which reached a high after the election of something like $107,000, is nowhere near that now. I think we're around 86,000 and change. But it's been a market drop. When do you foresee this moving back up? Because we've seen all kinds of wild projections of something like $250,000,000 per second.
Jeff
I want to buy back in year.
Liz Clayman
To people who say this thing's going down.
Brad Garlinghouse
Yeah, when I think about that, you know, your last guest Larry Fink talked about just taking the long term view and I almost don't think about it in that kind of short term time frame. I think about what are the macro trends playing out for the crypto industry, for the XRP ecosystem. XRP has been the best performing major crypto in the last 90 days. We think about it as what does that look like over the next three years? I'm very optimistic. Ripple just announced our largest acquisition, actually one of the largest acquisitions in the entire crypto industry to date. We announced it earlier this week on Tuesday in the middle of tariff palooza. You know, I, I don't know exactly what's going to happen with the tariffs.
Chip
But we're, this is great. Tariff palooza.
Jeff
Tariff palooza. That's. He just coined a new term. I love it.
Chip
Tariff palooza.
Jeff
Love that era of palooza betting on.
Brad Garlinghouse
Where the world's going to be in three years, not what's going to happen the next six months.
Liz Clayman
Would you have made that acquisition a year ago?
Chip
No. Hard.
Brad Garlinghouse
No. Look, the, the SEC in the United States and even other parts of the Biden administration, it was, it was a coordinated attack across many different agencies. We're finding that more and more out now. You already highlighted in your introduction the IRS had hostile rules about crypto that really didn't make any sense. Banks weren't even allowed to reasonably custody crypto without having an equal offset to their, their balance sheet, which really makes no sense for a bank then partake in this industry. It's a Real industry people want, I mean that administration wasn't listening to consumers, they weren't listening to the voter and what the voter wanted. We're now seeing a significant change across the board. And an acquisition like that would have made no sense a year ago. And it makes a lot of sense now.
Liz Clayman
It is truly amazing. I am looking at you and I am remembering, was it two or three years ago? How long has this lawsuit been slapped on you guys?
Brad Garlinghouse
December 22, 2020.
Liz Clayman
Okay.
Brad Garlinghouse
Four and a half, four and a half years.
Liz Clayman
We've been talking four and a half years. I thought to myself what's going to happen here? And you are on sort of the edge. The cusp of this just finally disappearing for sure.
Brad Garlinghouse
And it's good for Ripple, it's good for xrp, but it's also good for the whole industry. We want these industries not to be pushed offshore. And what was happening in the last four years is almost the opposite. You know, we think it's safer to push them to offshore entities.
Liz Clayman
How many employees do you have? Let's, let's, let's let people understand how many people you employ.
Chip
Messing around. She's like just exactly, bottom line it, how many employees you have.
Jeff
Get a good understanding of this.
Chip
She's trying to make a good point here though. It's like she wants to go how many people do you employ? Right.
Jeff
You know, impact on, on the market.
Chip
Correct.
Brad Garlinghouse
We, with our acquisition we employ about 1100 people now.
Liz Clayman
That's incredible.
Brad Garlinghouse
And these are high paying jobs. And for a period of time, as you and I have talked about before, for really the four years of the Biden administration, we did more hiring outside the United States than here at home. As a US citizen, I grew up in Kansas. I'd like to hire people here. We have some of the best talent in the world here. But it made no sense to invest in a market where we couldn't sign customers. We couldn't actually see banks benefit from a better, simpler cross border settlement for payments. These are technologies that really can help and revolutionize businesses consumer experiences. But we have to be able to deliver them to these audiences.
Liz Clayman
Yeah, I mean it was more than 10 years ago, I think we had the Winklevoss brothers getting rejected for their push to have an EAT etf.
Chip
Yeah.
Liz Clayman
That traded, that allowed people to invest in Bitcoin and it was a flat out mic drop no. And now we have so many of those. And this week an XRP ETF launched. Correct.
Brad Garlinghouse
It hasn't yet traded live in the United States, but it's Been we've had I think 11 different applications to go live with an ETF trading here in the United States. We do have it trading outside the United States. This is long overdue and it's a step towards a more institutionalized, safer way for people to participate in these markets.
Jeff
Safer position. This week, safer road.
Brad Garlinghouse
We paid 1.25 billion for what's called a prime broker. This allows even larger institutions like BlackRock, like the biggest Wall street financial institutions to come into this market in a way they understand with a safer prime broker to help clear transactions and a bigger balance sheet to do that. It's good for the whole industry.
Liz Clayman
So your last thought when it comes to the trade war, because people had been saying for a while that bitcoin and crypto were a hedge against all kinds of concern about a falling dollar. I mean even Larry Fink said on this network, on this show about a year ago that it was a hedge against cratering currencies of whoever's country that hasn't quite come into play. The dollar has been falling really precipitously over the past five, six days. In fact it was continuing at least as of this morning. It had a three year low against the euro and a ten year low against the Swiss franc. And crypto, at least today is moving higher, but it moves all over the place. What drives the price of crypto?
Brad Garlinghouse
I wish I had this clean answer to that question. Like any market, a lot of factors drive that. I mean there was a period of time as some of the tariff dynamics were playing out where crypto is clearly outperforming the equity markets. But, but you know, some people expected it for more like gold. We're seeing all time highs. I think people are still figuring out how that will, how that will play out. I think the long term value here is going to be very clear. It is a hedge against inflation. It is a dynamic where the more utility we drive in the crypto markets, the more we're going to see value accrete to that market.
Liz Clayman
I don't know if you do this, but I'm going to ask you anyway and push you what is your price target for bitcoin? Because Cardano Blockchain founder predicted, as I said earlier, 250,000 by year end.
Brad Garlinghouse
You know, I will predict bitcoin. I wouldn't predict XRP, it's too close to home. But I think 200,000 is not unreasonable. I think before I've kind of said, you know, 175 around there, I think people underestimate the largest economy in the world, the United States, went from headwinds, hostility to tailwinds. And I think people are still not fully quantifying how significant that is to have the largest economy in the world, the largest asset managers in the world, go from relatively frozen out or hostile to now a friendly market that has sensible regulation, that is thinking about pro innovation here at home.
Liz Clayman
Brad, it's been a long road for you guys over at XRP Ripple, and we'll watch it all. And you've been here from the start trying to tell the story, and now you've got people listening in Washington.
Brad Garlinghouse
Thank you, Liz.
Liz Clayman
Really, thank you. Great to see you.
Chip
It's a good interview, Jeff.
Jeff
That's good. That's probably. You said it. Probably one of the best, one of the best interviews he's done. Solid questions, solid, you know, points, topic. I mean, the whole thing, the narrative of that interview. Typically we watch these interviews and you're like, you know, what, you know, what are they even talking about? Do a little bit of research at a time, you know, try to get an understanding of the topic. And these are coming from, you know, people over, you know, all the different news, any, any of them that we've seen. You know, there's been, you know, a few that have just been really bad, but this one just hit it out of the park. She was, you know, had some really solid points to make, brought up some really key points, you know, talked about the. Gary Gensler, talked about the lawfare, allowed Brad to talk and, you know, kind of give us a solid narrative of the direction things are going. Everything was just really calm. You know, I mean, it was just, it was. He, he just appeared really, really calm and he was just in his, in his element, you know, So I, I liked it.
Chip
I remember I took something based on public speaking a long time ago, and they said, you know, when you're trying to generate it from here, when you're trying to generate it from getting the facts right, the notes, the this and that, comes off as kind of shaky. But when you generate it from here, the heart, when you're generating it from what, you know, what you're passionate about, it just flows too. And I think too, there's a lot of that because, like, come of the big takeaways that I heard in that were when he talked about, he was very, he was, he was very upfront about how, how friendly the White House. He named Scott Bessant. He talked about, you know, you know, Trump. He talked about like, what, you know, what kind of Changed the game. And I think that's important to know because everyone's like, oh, this is so great, and the fcc, Right. But it doesn't happen without changing the administration. First. He talked about Tariff palooza, which I thought was pretty funny, a nice new buzzword for that. But he also talked about how hostile the Biden administration was. He talked about that it wasn't just the sec, where a lot of this interview was geared around like SEC was hostile, but he's like even brought it to the point of where banks. And if you remember, during Trump's administration, that was the first time we heard from the Office of Comptroller what we could hear that where you could cut banks, could custody, crypto. And then all of a sudden the administration changes and all of a sudden they get very hostile. And I want to point out what Justin was saying here. He's saying that he was correct in the fact that Brad Garlinghouse is from Topeka, his hometown, but he went to school in Lawrence at ku. So there you go. There's a little bit of history for you. He's got bringing us the local history. Yeah, very good. So I thought it was a great, a great interview. He, he also had this to say. He put out a post over there on X and he shared this where he said that, you know, great to be back with Liz Clayman today to chat about Ripple's historic acquisition of prime broker Hidden Road. That was a little bit mentioned, but it wasn't really about that. What it means for the broader crypto market and as the US takes a much needed pro innovation approach. Another thing you focus a lot about the fact that they were signing everybody. They were. That over the last four and a half years was not in the US because of this whole lawsuit, which honestly, you know, there should be some kind of reimbursement, but that was all outside the U.S. all of these hirings were outside the U.S. now they're starting to hire again for the United States market, which is great. He says we're Moving past the SEC's war on crypto, entering the next phase of the market. True institutional flows integrating with decentralized finance. I feel like we lost a lot of momentum over the last four and a half years. We saw other cryptos get their all time highs and our all time high hasn't been broken since What, January of 2018, Jeff? It's a long time ago. We did get close. This last, this last run up though.
Jeff
Yeah, we're on our way. But you know, one of the thing, one of the things that he said was he's not focused on what's happening over the next couple weeks, not even the next 90 days. He's looking three years out, you know, so, you know, that's a major distinction. Everyone's always so focused on. Well, last week everything was great. There was some news this week it's not great. Oh look how bad it's doing. Look, it's down, you know, it's down 5%, it's down. Bitcoin's down 2%, but it's way off its high. Well, it's still higher than what it was before it went up to the, the all time high. We're hovering in the fifty, sixty thousand dollar range. So why don't we talk about that. We're sitting in the 80s but before we went up to the all time high, we're hovering in the 50s, 60s. And same thing with XRP you were sitting at 20 at $2. But right before, you know, the, I'm trying to think when we started making the big move, XRP started going up really post election. It took a little while to really kick in. But you know, you think about, let's go back just a few months ago, not that long ago, we're hovering at 50 cents. Now we're at $2. Yes, we went up to three and it pulled back to two. But why can't we go for, why don't they ever reference that point? You know, let's go back six months ago when, when XRP was sitting at 50 cents. Now we're still sitting at two bucks. You know, if you got in two months ago at three, okay, you're probably down, you know and I know, you know, I know a few people that first time ever buying XRP bought in close to the high at $3 just like people did in 2018. Because it's all the excitement, things were getting ready to ramp up now, now we're sitting back at two. But hey, Brad said it perfectly. It's three. Gotta look three years out. You can't look what's gonna happen 30 days from now, 60 days from now, 90 days from now. And XRP might, you know, hit five dollars for all we know in the next, you know, three to six months. But maybe it won't, you know, who knows. But that, that's kind of his point. Development project, building chip. I think, you know, our interview on Saturday with Anados guys, you know, with Peter and Panos was perfect, you know, because you know, this is talking exactly about what's required in this space and it's all about development, building and development. That's what's needed right now.
Chip
That's exactly right. And it's, and I mean it's great that Ripple's leading the charge for a lot of it. But when you see, when you see people like, you know, panels, the team that he's put together with Peter, you see the vision they have, you see that they are, you know, they've been building this for, I want to say about at least two years that I can, if memory serves correct. But there's so much great building going on there. We had Dirk on a couple weeks ago and you know, with expector and Expector verse and it's, it's mind boggling to see how, how incredibly built out that is to see cars driving around with. Now they enabled headlights. When it's dusk, you can actually see the headlights and now you have the boats and it's, it's so remarkable the amount of time and effort that went into putting all that detail in there. But again, built in mind with the XRPL meant to be, you know, go in and you know, we get our set up there, people can go in there and they can buy merch, you know, they can buy merch right inside the expect reverse. They can go in there and they can, you know, buy an nft, right? So almost anything can be done there. So it's going to be fantastic.
Jeff
Three legend been looking three years out for eight. I hear you. You know, I've been looking three, three years out since 2017.
Chip
But even though it's brutal, Ray, the moss is coming in from New Zealand who says hello to everybody. But part of it is though part of the issue is that people are thinking that, well, when the ripple lawsuit finally goes away, are we going to see a price bump? I don't think so. I think when we see clear, you know, legislation with rules, I think it goes, I think it starts zoom. And I think at that point we're going to start because there's no more fear in the market anymore. People are still fearful, banks are still fearful, the FIS financial institutions still fearful. And around crypto, you know, attorneys involved and they're, it's not, it's not our. Even though it's a more friendly regulatory environment, people still don't want to step out. They still want to be very cautious in their moves. But when we get crypto legislation, I think a lot of that's going to change. I think it's going to change for the better. We think about tokenization Cointelegraph did something cool about. They talk about tokenized. Real world assets are projected to grow from 0.6 trillion and 25 to 18, almost 19 trillion by 2033. We've talked about these numbers a lot, but I think that people are missing like where the. And I honestly think it could probably zoom. Like, it's hard to understand what a trillion is, right? It's a, it's a big number. But you think about all the things that can be tokenized. And they're saying as the adoption accelerates across global finance, the cool thing about tokenization is, and I think that, you know, Peter brought this up yesterday from Anados when he talked a lot about the fact that it was. People don't need to know how it works. But when you, when you buy a, like right now you can buy a fraction of Bitcoin, people go like, oh, I don't have, you know, whatever it is laying around to buy a Bitcoin. But you don't have to, you can buy fractionized, but tokenized real estate will be the same way. You can be part of a group of people who owns a piece of real estate, right? You could buy, you know, there might be 5, 10, 100 people going on Airbnb. They rent it out, there's dividends paid, the value goes up, they decide to sell it, you know, trading in and out when you're tokenizing real world assets. And I mean, real estate's just one use case, Jeff. But how do you see this playing out? Like where we, where can we go with the, with the tokenization across the.
Jeff
Board, man, I'm, I'm excited about tokenization, you know, and really it, it hits every segment of, of, of business. You know, I'm excited to see where tokenization is going to be from a real estate perspective, changing the way ownership representation is showing. So I mean it's, it's kind of a, you know, infinite idea because we haven't even seen all the different aspects and product, uh, potential to where things can be tokenized. Here we're just seeing the obvious. But I think there's, there's just so much more, you know, because we have to look at fractional and I think fractional ownership is where tokenization is going to have a, a big impact. And, and yes, we're talking about, you know, real estate. You're talking about funds and treasury and lending credit and you could have all that representation. But I think establishing quick trust line and establishing a mechanism for individuals to do peer to peer movement of an asset versus involvement of any of these platforms, you know, or at least have a streamline. The easy way that I can send you an NFT right now, just like we do every day when or every podcast when somebody wins. Badass YETI Imagine that tokenization. Imagine that NFT was tokenized real estate was fractional ownership in real estate or fractional ownership of stock or was actual, you know, stock holdings. And. And I'm moving the NFT over to you and I'm like, here you go, Chip, you now own, you know, 500 shares of XYZ Co. Or, you know, I have fractional ownership in this real estate. Here you go, Chip, you now own my ownership in that. I just sent you the.
Chip
Send it to me.
Jeff
I'm gonna send you everything. One mechanism, the other magnet. Just simplify. It's cutting out a lot of the fat, you know, within the corporations that are required right now. The manual aspect of it, you know, once it. Once it's put onto the blockchain and. And that's it, you know, I think we're going to see a much more streamlined future in finance than what we have right now. And it's all going to be immediately available 24 hours a day the way it needs to be. If I own something, I want access to it 24 7. It shouldn't be confine of, you know, the centralized conglomerate or, you know, the centralized systems. You know, just like right now with crypto, if you're. Even if you're on an exchange, if you're on coinbase or uphold or whatever. And I want to access to it 247 you're able to get access to it and it should be the same thing with everything else that you own. So that. That's my take on a trip.
Chip
Yeah, we're headed there in a good. It's a good place. I mean, so much stuff has happened and so much momentum. The other thing that happened in that Garling House interview where Clay Liz asked him, hey, do you think this acquisition would have happened? No, probably this acquisition would not have happened. So you see stuff like that too. Panos even commented on this. He said, everything will be tokenized. Everything will come on chain. True ownership 24 7. Accessibility and more opportunities. So that's like a huge thing. And having that on chain too. Like you said, Jeff, it's going to simplify. It's going to simplify almost everything across the board, just in a great way.
Jeff
Zed is saying, how would tokenization work? How many XRP to tokenize? A hundred thousand Dollar house, for example. I think the question isn't really that. The question is that you're, you're tokenizing and whatever the, whatever the representation is of what has been tokenized and it's got done in some form of an nft, right? Or, or tokenizing a representation of. So it's not necessarily an XRP that's going to do it. If it's built on the xrpl, all the better because there's a lot of aspects of it, you know, but I think, you know, XRP plumbing saying tokenizing real estate wise is you cutting out a lot of the house on owning property, where you take property and the middleman gets out of it. Here's a visual vendetta. I would like to see card titles tokenized. Another one. Imagine your car title is tokenized and I can now transfer it through, you know, through the blockchain. I'm moving my title, which is you have a representation of your title in NFT format that is now you're able to just transfer it over. You know, the card details are always going to be the car details, right? It's, here's the make, here's the model, here's the year it was manufactured, here's all the specifications. Boom, it's all packaged up. I should be able to. That title, you know, and representation of your, your VIN number, all the details on it, which could then tie back if what is like the Blue Book or there's some ways the carfax where you can look things up and see what had been done to it, you know, that would all tie to the tokenization to that representation. That said, man, there's so many cool things that could be done, you know, to simplify this process. Imagine that ship. Imagine. How long did you have to wait for the title of the car?
Chip
Well, I had to wait longer than I should have had to wait like two weeks. Two weeks.
Jeff
Could you imagine if you could just send it, it was an nft, like, here you go, here's the title done.
Chip
It's ridiculous. It's a lot. Yeah. I mean, and simplifying thing, bringing everything on chain is going to be just a huge, a huge deal for almost, you know, everyone involved. I mean, it's going to be so much better. I want to segue to this, but I saw. This is funny because I saw this crypto already put this out. She said, I think the cat's out of the bag. To Hugo Megan, meaning Hugo Fillion from. From Flair and a team of builders at Flare Networks, Flare Labs and beyond have been building serious utility for the digital asset. Xrp. Take no prisoners. Put a little, little pirate flag up there and then you can see the kind of stuff that's being dropped over here at Flare Networks. If you guys don't follow flair, I would go out there at Flare Networks on X so that I'll, I'll drop that in there, but I'd be. And if you guys are participating in the rewards on the airdrop because you're an XRP holder, even better. But still, it's still priced pretty well. I think it's what it, it might be kind of going up a little bit at the moment. I think it was around 2 cents. But again, I mean I think Flare is going to some really good places. Here's some other stuff. You got Flare Networks dropping this summer, 2025. Ripple builds the rails, Flare unlocks the playground. It wasn't luck. You were meant to see this. And then you got stuff like Firelight which was just introduced. Billions in XRP waiting to be activated, coming soon. So this, all of this stuff that that's happening is going to be. And again, I wouldn't necessarily know if, and I'm not giving financial advice to anybody, but this has been basically in the works for a long time. And one of the things I like about what Hugo Fillion and his team has done is they've taken their time. They started with Songbird, they wanted to test the network. Worst, most catastrophic thing that could happen is you launch something and then something breaks. You can lose a lot of different people. Not only the bad press, but it was meant to be a test net and it was meant for packers to go in there, try to break it. They're building it the right way. They're, they're, their vision is wide, which I really like. And so, and then this Firelight too was another big one here. So the wait list is coming out very soon for the D5 piece of it. And then you know, this guy put out a pretty good one. Flare Networks is pumping. People are finally getting. You don't need 12 different tokens, five bridges, three APIs, two oracles duct taped together is to build one decent Web3 app. You need one network that can do it all. Now Flare networks it and judging by the 44 move this week, it's waking people up. Let's break it down. So it kind of gets into a flares, a Swiss army knife, a blockchain. Not just an oracle, not a smart contract chain, not just a cross chain interoperability. It's all of it together, one network and one token. Here's 10 real world places where it dominates cross chain payments, AI and real time data access, decentralized weather, sports and event betting, enterprise reporting, audits, you know, this whole thing, trustless KYC and identity. It's. To me it's like what we got coming with, with, with. There's so much being built around Flare right now that I think it's super exciting. You got flare, you got flare networks, you got, you know, firelight and what's. I think we're gonna get to a really cool place and thank God a lot of us who were early adopters and bought XRP and got the airdrop, you know, I don't know. Did you check on your tokens recently, Jeff? Because I just checked on my tokens and I'm like, I got a pretty good stash right there. You know, it's like, it's kind of nice to see.
Jeff
Of what the flare.
Chip
A flare. Yeah. It's going to be good.
Jeff
You'll be able to ramp it up. You know, I mean it's, it's crazy. And I was just looking at the, the coin gecko and looking at the max. So Flare launched back January of 23, around 4 cents. And then it dropped by October down to 0.008, rode back up to a high February of 24 back up to almost 5 cents, rode back down November 6th at 24, back down to a penny. And that's kind of where it's been hovering even even though in November it hit almost 3 cents, actually went over 3 cents. So it's kind of in, in this zone where it hasn't, you know, there was a point where you could have got in under a penny, but it's, you know, from 4 cents to, you know, a penny to almost 2 cents, 3 cents. It, you know, for the past last couple years been hovering in an interesting area. It's down 49. You know, it looks like year to date, but for, for one year. But it's overall the project is what it's about. And you know, to go back to what Garland House had talked about, you know, it's about what they're building and you got to look a little further out. But I, I like seeing the positive, the positivity. We see Flair was up 37 for seven days, which is pretty good.
Chip
That's very good.
Jeff
For the 14 day, we're up 20. So things are moving in a, in a good direction for Flair. Plus the project, everything that you mentioned.
Chip
Yeah. Now I Think it's time to segue over to the geopolitical part of the Oregon of the program here. So I wanted to. I wanted to play a.
Jeff
Let's take a commercial break before you go to the geo.
Chip
Let's do that.
Jeff
Let's do that real quick. Here we go, guys. Get ready for this. Win the bad bus.
Chip
Yeti from the Blue Tribe.
Jeff
What's the word of the day? Hey, you got your zombie wallet ready? Cause this one is gonna. It's time to claim your legendary Blue Tribe Yeti from the clan Spirit Walkers. His name Ormstara. Let's go. The chain. Badass Yetis Born for battle. One made for legend.
Chip
Born for battle. Made for legend. Oh, yeah.
Jeff
Oh, yeah.
Chip
So, guys, type in yeti. You only type it once. You can type it 16 times. It only registers it once. You can type it in caps. You can type it in lowercase and only register it once. So if you spell it right and you don't put yet, I, E, Y, E. Some of you do. Just saying. So there you go. Yeah, it's definitely rigged. Reborn John. Reborn John saying it rigged. Who won last time.
Jeff
Everyone's saying it's rigging, Joe. But yeti is rigged.
Chip
It's rigged. Okay, so I wanted to play this clip. This is Trump on Air Force One. He brings his daughter, his granddaughter Kai Trump into this. That's Don Junior's daughter. And, you know, she's. She's a very good golfer. She's, you know, she can almost be pro. But anyway, she's a phenomenal golfer. And. But he brings her on there. So listen, what he says at the beginning of this. This is funny clip. He brings her up and he goes, kai, do you know the fake news? This is the fake news. This is the fake news. This is so great. Come on over here.
Jeff
Good morning.
Chip
Morning.
Jeff
Yeah, good morning. We're just doing a little news conference. You want to partake?
Chip
She's a great athlete, actually.
Jeff
Great golfer and great student, actually.
Chip
Look at the proud grandpa. Proud great student, great athlete. She's like, he's proud grandpa. They spent a lot of time together golfing.
Jeff
So go ahead.
Chip
Monday, you're having a meeting with the president of El Salvador. That's gonna be awesome. Legendary. Tomorrow. He's been posting it all over acts. I'm coming. And yeah, the president called him President B. He called him President B. And then Bukele reposted it and said, president B.
Jeff
So do you have any concerns about that prison? People have said it has human rights abuses.
Chip
No, I think he's doing a fantastic.
Jeff
Job, and he's taking care of a lot of problems that we have that.
Chip
We really wouldn't be able to take care of from a cost standpoint.
Jeff
And he's doing really.
Chip
He's been amazing. We have some very bad people in.
Jeff
That prison, people that should have never been allowed into our country, people that murder drug dealers.
Chip
Some of the worst people on earth.
Jeff
Are in that prison, and he's able to do that.
Chip
Some of the worst people. You know the fake news. This is the fake news. You know the fake news.
Jeff
You know the fake news. Yeah, they are.
Chip
So he was also at UFC314 last night.
Jeff
He gets around.
Chip
I'll tell you what, he's everywhere, man. I'm like, this guy doesn't sleep. You know, he's up at 2:00am, he's, you know, available at 6:00am I don't know. Well, he doesn't drink, he doesn't smoke. And this health report just came out. He's 20 pounds lighter than his first term, and he's super healthy. So let's look at this clip. This was from UFC last night. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the evening people went nuts last night. Nuts.
Jeff
Oh, man, it's amazing. So good to see.
Chip
Now, what's great about this. What's great about this, Jeff, is this was. I. I took this off of the White House official X, you know, what do you call it? Yeah, this is the. This is the official one. This was made and posted there. So I love what they're doing. They're posting real stuff. They're not posting gobbledygoop and stupid stuff. It's really great to see here. Let's talk a little. I wanted to play this clip, talk a little bit about Doge, because what they're uncovering is just mind blowing. Like, I really don't think that. That the powers that be, the. The Democrats and all these people thought they were actually going to uncover all this stuff. But watch this. Look at this one.
Jeff
Jeff, do the monologue. This week, Doge perfectly exposed government bureaucracy in a nutshell. While working on the IRS website, Doge noticed the site's login button wasn't in the top right. Like most websites, it's a small thing, but.
Chip
But Doge noted it was weirdly placed.
Jeff
In the middle of the page. So Doge wanted to move it to the right spot, but an IRS engineer said the soonest they could do that was July 21st. Over 100 days from now.
Chip
To move it, Jeff.
Jeff
To move it.
Chip
Why 20? This is exactly why Government is broken, dude. Yeah, like 21st.
Jeff
So what did those do? They stepped in and fixed it in 70 minutes. Here's how it looks now. See?
Chip
There it is.
Jeff
They moved it from the middle to the top. It's a small thing. Yeah, but the government would have needed 100 days to do it. Oh, my God.
Chip
To go from there.
Jeff
So imagine how long it takes for.
Chip
Them to do stuff that actually requires more effort. This is how the government works. Hey, Steve, can we change the website a little? No problem, Joe. I'll have to submit a work order for that, which requires approval from the boss, and then we'll circle back at.
Jeff
The monthly meeting for the next round of approvals. Then we'll hire a contractor to hire.
Chip
A subcontractor that will hire a teenager.
Jeff
To make the change.
Chip
Total cost of John Q.
Jeff
Taxpayer, 60 billion. But hyperventilated. But when it's no longer on the taxpayer's dime, it gets done in minutes. See, this is why you need Elon and Doge. A government website shouldn't be harder than translating Jasmine Crockett into English. And this week, Doge uncovered millions of taxpayer dollars of unemployment insurance claims for people who haven't been born yet over the age of 115, and even. Even between the ages of 1 and 5.
Chip
Holy cow, Jeff. That's insane.
Jeff
Insane. Look at DNI. What is up? DNI, good to see you on, man. I thought we might have thrown up NGO Bad Signal or something, but DNI saying that we should start a YETI NGO and then we can get funding from the Open Society and Paris.
Chip
I love how DNI stealing from the Democrat playbook. Yeah, well, that's exactly how it works right now if you're a Democrat. Well, when I keep hearing the answers, like. Like the. The rebuttal that Elon made to Chuck Schumer, like, geez, I don't know why you're so mad about this. Kind of sounds like you're in on the money or something like that. So, you know, they already know. You know that they're freaking out. Like, people like Elizabeth Warren. Where'd she get $70 million from? She's now, like, she's got a bill in Congress now. She just. You know, people. There's no way that Congress should be able to own stock. Well, okay, great. You're late to the party. But why the sudden turn? You know? Are you nervous about something? Is there something going on that we need to know about? But I think they're all running scared. By the way, if that was their Indian name, It would be. Definitely would be running skirt. And do you remember this retard? This retard right here, Jeff. This retard right here is running for. He was. Como. Was the former New York governor, and now he's running for. He wants to be mayor of New York City. And this. This is an oldie but goodie, but this is when he was peddling burgers and fries. A free burger and fry. If you got the. The, you know, the shot. Here he is. Listen, this is so embarrassing, Jeff. If I'm Adams and I'm running against this nut job, all I do is I play this commercial on loop. That's all I do. When you get vaccinated. Free fries. When you get vaccinated. I got vaccinated. You're saying I could get this. The delicious fries. But there's also a. A burger element to this, Jeff, did you know there's a. It was a burger element to it. There's also a bird.
Jeff
Oh, my God, he's such a clown.
Chip
What a clown. What a piece of dog ass. What a. Just a complete retard. Let me. Let me check with Bill Nedart. Is it too early in the day to eat a birth? He's got to check with his chief of staff to see if it's too early to eat a burger, right? Is this official time? Is it too early to eat the burger? It's morning time. Can I eat the burger? It's so contrite. It's so much. This could be breakfast. Okay, good to go. I want you to look at this and think about that. How big of a retard you are. We thought about it. We all agree again, some people love hamburgers. Some don't really want to respect all ways of life. But if this is appealing to you, just think of this when you think of vaccination. Vaccination. I'm getting a very good feeling about vaccination right this moment.
Jeff
What an idiot.
Chip
Thank you.
Jeff
It's so embarrassing. All the Democrats are embarrassing. I'll tell you what, except for the ones that are leaving. They're leaving because they're. They're embarrassed by this nonsense. De Blasio, he had a straight face.
Chip
He was trying to tell us. He was trying to tell us how incredibly. I mean, what a. What a nut job, man. And so you remember Keir Starmer when he was, you know, he was at the White House? He was talking about free speech and how they have free speech. Well, check this out, dude. This guy gets arrested. Watch what he's shouting. He got Arrested.
Jeff
Come on, England.
Chip
The cops behind them, by the way, how ridiculous their cops look. They look like, you know, the rent of cops in the mall look better letting them. They got goofy outfits on. They. They can't.
Jeff
They don't have guns either.
Chip
They wear these batons. You can push them over with one finger. So he's saying, let's go England. Let's go patriotic. Here's a. Here's a patriot who's saying, let's go England. What's going on?
Jeff
Look at this.
Chip
Let's go England. Yeah, let's go England. And he gets arrested.
Jeff
Just shows you where. Where the priorities are in that country. Not with their own people.
Chip
That's why they'll probably fall.
Jeff
Definitely not.
Chip
That's probably why they'll fall.
Jeff
They prefer to have all these, you know, these terrorist supporters over there.
Chip
Well, I also asked some of my. I asked some of my English, you know, friends, Lionel. I said, what do you think about this? He said, that's all. This. This is not a big deal. So it talks about corruption a la la. Here's. Here's a. Someone from Spain. She is a patriot as well. And I'm gonna have to. This is in Spanish, so I'm gonna go ahead and read this. Let me turn the volume down. But you can see she went to prison. And she's like. The sentence of. The court has sentenced me to a year in prison and a fine of six months. Six pounds a day for at least six months. I have no regrets about what I have done and what I would do it again. Because consider that Spain is dying and someone has to fight for Spain not to die, or at least for raising awareness and for giving voice to the. That denunciation of the situation forgiven. Voice to the suffering of a nation that is plunged into a complete and absurd failure in which its own leaders prosecute those who try to do something to save the little thing that remains of the name of Spain. And a year in jail. And you're not going to manage to separate me from my goal. I will continue fighting. I will continue doing everything possible to save my country from you and from the enemies, foreigners who come to daily to destroy us. Up with Spain. Can you imagine that? She said some remarks and now she's going to prison for a year. Jeff. I mean, this is. This is what they've lost.
Jeff
They've lost the narrative in these countries. I mean, thank God, you know, for. Thank God, you know, that we have the right administration back in this country, because they were going to try to pull that kind of nonsense here. But thank God for the Constitution, you know, thank God for our freedom of speech here. You know, thank God, you know, for, you know, the fact that, you know, the. The people that in this country love freedom and, you know, they. They're willing to, you know, fight for it. And hence we, you know, we're able to take back the country, you know, with this current administration, you know, but things were spiraling here. But in those countries, they have no freedoms, and this is proof positive of it. They can't say anything, they can't do anything. It's even scary to go at this point, to go in and visit a country like that, you know, based on, you know, what you see going on over there.
Chip
Yeah. And look at this right here. So I'm going to play this. So Radio Genoa put this up. Spanish patriot Isabella Peralta was sentenced to a year in prison for statements such as, this is not migration, it's an invasion. Spain is Christian, not Muslim. Her real crime is being a beautiful, white, European Christian woman. I think her crime is like being a patriot. Her crime is. Is talking about, you know, when I go visit Spain, Jeff, I go to visit Spain because Spain's a great country. You've been there, I've been there. It's. It's a phenomenal country. You know, obviously, they've got great food, amazing wines, but, you know, it's for the culture. And listen, I'm all for, you know, for bringing folks in, but, you know, if they're going to come in and just disobey, like, you know, counter revolutionize against the culture, not become part of it, you know, America's big melting pot. I mean, it's one of the things that makes it, you know, phenomenal is we have people from everywhere, but they wanted to assimilate, they want to come and they want to contribute. But I don't see a lot of that going on. What I'm seeing in the uk, I've seen a lot of division. I'm seeing, you know, I saw a video prayer. The. They want to broadcast, you know, the prayer in the morning. And they're like, well, how come we don't broadcast the Christian prayer in the morning? How come we don't broad broadcast, you know, Jewish prayers? How can we. Why. So why are you singling out one? Like, why is there something very special and different? This is where I see it kind of going off the rails a little bit. It's like, okay, well, we don't do that for other folks. Why would we? Why would we make Exceptions or why are we doing it at all? Right? It's supposed to be, you know, we're not supposed to. I just don't understand, Jeff. It's just. It's a. One of these things that just doesn't make sense where people are going to prison. So you don't really understand free speech. Remember that nut job that. I don't know what, he was, some cop over there in England, and he's like, if Americans post bad things about us, we'll get them in prison, too. I'm like, well, good luck, dude. I mean, come on over and get me, right? Because I'm always hammering Keir Starmer with his bs, and I mean, he has. But imagine you live in the country. You can't say anything against what you actually believe, and you don't understand what freedom of speech is until you no longer have it. Here's a woman who's going to go serve a year in prison, has zero regrets because she feels like she's fighting for her country, for her countrymen, right? She feels like she's doing the noble thing and she's willing to take it. And this is the kind of thing where, I don't know, it's just. It's. It's crazy to me, Jeff. I don't know. I don't even know where we go from here.
Jeff
First of all, we got to get the facts right. You know, I think that's number one. We gotta really understand what's happening from a historical perspective. Dig in and look at what's happening current day. Too many people don't really understand what's happening on the ground. You know, I see way too many, you know, comments on. On that fact. You know, we'd have to have an entire show on the true history of the Middle East. We'd have to have, you know, you know, we'd have to have a show specifically on, you know, we can look at the. Go back to Jefferson and. And the issues, you know, that they were having. What were they called? The, you know, the pirates, the Islamic pirates at the time. I don't know, I just slipped my mind on. On the terminology. But, you know, we. You can go back and look at, you know, what has happened current day with. With Muslim communities in the Middle east coming down into Northern Africa and kidnapping and enslaving people. Current day, you know, but yet none of that gets talked about, and that's been going on for decades. You know, we really would have to truly understand exactly what's being orchestrated, you know, throughout that. Throughout that area, you know, there's just way too many things going on, you know, that people are just unaware of. Unfortunately, I see people in. In our comments here that don't really understand either, you know, and I'm seeing too many comments coming up here that it's just the Barbary coast pirates as well. Yep, that's exactly what it is. So we'd have to have an entire show on it. You know, too many people are throwing out. You know, throwing stuff out here that's just inaccurate.
Chip
It's a lot to unpack, and again, we're not going to unpack it in one session. But I think, you know, when you lose freedom of speech, and again, whether you're for or against it, whether you think it's a good thing, what she said or you think it's a bad thing, it really doesn't matter if you think it's insensitive to what she said. The fact is someone should be able to say it. As long as you're not harming someone, you're not threatening somebody. But she wants to speak up. You have this guy who's saying, let's go, England. Let's go, England. A proud patriot, talking about, you know, proud of his country. And then the cops just harass him. They started having words with them, and they arrest the guy and put him in the back of it. It's. It's insane that this is going on, but this is just two little stories. I mean, this is happening all over the place, and. And there is no freedom of speech. And this is what we have. And just to lighten the mood a little bit, Jeff, I thought I'd put this up. And again, maybe this is in bad taste, but I'm gonna put it up anyway because we like to. We go all over. We go to different places, but let's just watch this real quick. Go have an Olympic team. Come on. Because everybody that can run, jump, and swim is already in the United States. Why doesn't. That's. Oh, that's horrible, Jeff. That's bad. Come on. I can't believe. I can't believe you played that. Gosh, so insensitive. Jeff, what's wrong with you? I still can't believe. I can't. Really can't believe you played that. It's horrible.
Jeff
I know.
Chip
How about Byron Donald's the next. The next governor of the great state of free state of Florida. Here it is right here, talking about Chuck Schumer. Chucky Schumer responses? Chuck Schumer's lying again. When it comes to. So let's put up this statement here. So Chuck Schumer said the Republican SAVE act reads more like a how to guide for voter suppression. It goes against the very foundations of our democracy. You know, when they start throwing that democracy around, you know, that's complete propaganda democracy. We gotta save our democracy. It actually makes it harder for women who change their name after getting married to vote. You know, in the SAVE act, if you guys know what it is, it's like he's got to be registered to vote, right? So, you know, the. What I'm even seeing people on the, on the conservative side complaining about Kristi Gnomes said you have a certain date and for the, for the Real ID. Jeff, the Real ID was rolled out in 2005. Remember, they keep moving the date you had to have it by. It's that little star you get on your license here. And, and when you renew your license, you've got to provide a birth certificate, a passport, you know, proof that you live in the United States, you know, a utility bill. That's all the same stuff you've always had to produce, but you have to produce it again so that they can put that little gold star there. And that's the real id. And I see people freaking out, oh, my God, we're going back to. This is like 1984 and Big Brother. I'm like, dude, this. It's the same thing you did to get a license. They're just wanting to see the paperwork again. What Chuck Schumer is saying here is it's voter suppression. Isn't it weird how they're always. They don't want people registered to vote. And if you know the real reason why those, those 4 million security. Social Security numbers they gave out is so that you could go, you, you know, after four months of filing for asylum, you got a Social Security number fraud. You had. And then you got to get a license fraud. And then you went and voted in election fraud. That's why they'll. That's why the Democrats don't want it, because it's actually they. They fight. You know, voter ID is because they want to continue to cheat in elections. And that's all going bye bye. There's lying again when it comes to actual voting policy to protect the franchise for the American people. Number one, there's this thing called real id, which every state in the country now is now complies with, which actually protects women who go through the process of changing their name. So Chuck Schumer's lying, and he's Gaslighting. People need to remember that back in, I believe it was 2022, you had Chuck Schumer, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, who were up in arms when Georgia changed their voting laws, rightly mind you, and they followed the Florida model when it came to election law, and they went down to Georgia calling it Jim Crow 2.0. And they were lying. Because the facts were more black people in Georgia voted in the midterm elections than in the history of the state of Georgia. Georgia. So once again, the Democrats are gaslighting. They are lying. They should be joining us to protect the franchise of voting in the United States of America. One thing I'll add is we've had more than 30 million people come into our country illegally. We've already seen through the work of Doge, that they have had access to register into all kind of programs. So all we're saying is proof of citizenship to make sure you're voting in American election elections. This is common sense stuff. Once again, the Democrats simply are not serious. They would prefer to gaslight than do what's right on behalf of the American people, my response. I really hope this is our next president. I honestly. I mean, I really wanted him to be the vp. I mean, he's gonna. And I think he could elevate to that after becoming, you know, the. The next governor of Florida. I do think he can elevate to that because the guy is solid, man. And not only that, but his ideas. And you just see, like, how he was. Like, there's no. In that statement right there. Gaslighting full of crap. Here's what it is. Here's what it isn't. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Did you hear any. Do you hear any of that stuff in there? No. Dude's on fire.
Jeff
No, he. He's great. You know, I mean, J.D. vance, it. It, you know, will most likely be the next president. You know, if he. I'm pretty sure he will be.
Chip
I don't think he's gonna be the next president.
Jeff
All right, well, we'll see what happens. But I think Byron Donalds will run for governor. Hopefully, you know, he wins. You know, if he. And we'll. We'll see a good victory. That election's coming up pretty soon, so, you know, we're talking about 26 for him to get elected. I think once he's in, he's gonna have to hold that seat for a while. Yeah. And so that puts up potentially two terms. And then, you know, those could be, you know, almost in parallel, a little bit off with J.D. vance, you know, running also two terms, you know, which might give him an option to go in second. Second term in maybe go on his VP or, you know, maybe he just runs.
Chip
Yeah, he could be a vp. Maybe he would take over from jd. It's not that I don't like jd, it's just I feel like sometimes one of the things that I always see, wow, the anomaly was Biden. But normally, okay, if you go back, you have Trump, then you had Obama, you have charisma. There's some kind of charisma. Trump didn't have it, but you had it in. In Clinton. Right. So you have some kind of a charismatic. Charismatic sort of a thing. And this is where I feel like, you know, JD's really. Well, he's just very like, you know, monotone reserve. He hasn't really. And, you know, and I like, I like Byron Thomas because he gets fired up, man. He doesn't. Yeah, he'll debate anybody. He shows up anytime. Any. Remember when he was. When giving him some the, you know, messing with him like about a year ago, he just shows up. He'll debate you anywhere. He's got nothing to hide. JD's great like that too. But it's amazing to see so many great people emerge in the Republican Party and the fact that it's been sort of changed over. Jeff, I've been seeing these go around, these little action sets you can create in chat. GPT. But someone put this one up of, oh, no, you know. Oh, you know what? Now I can't.
Jeff
Jeff, you can't add it?
Chip
No, because it's doing that weird again, dude. So frustrating, man. I don't know. There it is. Yep. Look at that. Are you able to add it?
Jeff
I added it.
Chip
Yeah. Let me look at this about the coconut. What do you think it is? Some Doritos and vodka there. Okay. You know, you got prescription pads. And then. Jeff, I don't know. I want to talk what those are.
Jeff
They look like boxing gloves. That's what I'm like.
Chip
What are those? Jeff?
Jeff
I'm just knee pads. Oh, knee bed.
Chip
And then. And then the cackle. This is the best word salad. Just see the salad right there, Jeff. Word salad edition. So you got the Doritos.
Jeff
Oh, my God.
