Outlier TV Interview With Richard Ussher 5 Time Coast to Coast Multisport Champion & Owner of Cable

Having skied for only 30 days of his life Richard Ussher made the commitment to ski at the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics. With only 4 years to prepare, not only was he going to compete but he was going to compete in the moguls – one of the most technical and most brutal Winter Olympic sports.

After the Olympics and never one to avoid a challenge Richard decided he would turn his attention to Multisport and ended up winning the world-famous Coast to Coast Race five times and setting the New Zealand Ironman Triathlon record of 8 hours, 2 minutes and 15 seconds, as well as winning multiple Adventure Racing titles.

Transitioning into Race Director of the Coast to Coast and owning his own kayak business, Richard is now the owner of the Cable Bay Adventure Park and an avid conservationist.

Richard is a true athlete, entrepreneur and Outlier.
