B
Cracker lacking Our first topic today is Shadir Sanders and a tumultuous NFL draft. Shedeur lost over $40 million after dropping out of the top three picks all the way to 144th pick, where he went to the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round. Now, everyone has shared their opinion on it and many have come out to bury him with the different stories. But when it comes to football, what do you think of the Cleveland Browns QB situation?
A
Oh, it's horrible. It's absolutely terrible situation for a quarterback to be in. Let's get real, people here. All right, this is the thing that nobody wants to talk about. Shadur Sanders is in a situation where the NFL and the Cleveland Browns have set him up to sink or swim in year one. What I really mean by that is they set him up to fail. Shadow Sanders is the fourth quarterback on the Cleveland Browns roster. But let me talk to you about the other guys that they have on the roster. Joe Flacco, the de facto starter that everyone with a football brain believes will be their starting quarterback barring injury, is a Super bowl champion and Super Bowl MVP. Yes, I know he's 40 years old, but they just brought him in this offseason before they drafted Shadur Sanders. The next quarterback, Kenny Pickett. Yes, he's been on two other teams, but guess what? The Cleveland Browns traded for him this offseason. That gives you two quarterbacks with experience on the roster that you would think this is the de facto starter and the de facto backup. But. But not only that, they didn't just bring in Joe Flacco, the Super bowl champ and super bowl mvp. They didn't just trade for Kenny Pickett. They also drafted a quarterback in the third round by the name of Dylan Gabriel. Now, Dylan Gabriel is one of the most electrifying and most stat driven quarterbacks in all of college football history. I believe he has the most starts of any college quarterback and ever. And it's because he played six years of college football when he went to ucf, played at Oklahoma and also was at Oregon. They drafted Dylan Gabriel in the third round of the same draft that they took Shadir Sanders. So no one wants to talk about this because it's a very difficult topic. Shadir Sanders is a fifth round pick. Guys that are drafted in the fifth round typically don't make NFL rosters. And if they do make NFL rosters, it was because they showed their absolute talent in the preseason and all through training camp and the off season. But here's the difference. Most of those guys weren't quarterbacks. Most of those guys weren't fighting to be the third or fourth quarterback on the roster. Shadur Sanders is at a position at quarterback where only one guy gets to play. If you're a fifth round receiver, you got a chance to make the team. You just got to go out there and show out. And a lot of times you're going to get opportunities with the ones and the twos because of injuries, hamstrings, ankles, those type of soft tissue issue injuries that pop up. But at quarterback, that typically doesn't happen. So for Shadur Sanders, you have to understand that this guy is going to be going into the off season getting the fewest reps of all the quarterbacks on the Cleveland Browns roster. He's going to be going into training camp getting the fewest reps of all the quarterbacks on the Cleveland Browns roster. And then when you go into the preseason, he's going to be getting the fewest reps and the fewest plays of all the quarterbacks are on the roster. But say, let's say he does get some plays. We all know that the preseason. If you didn't know, let me explain to you. The NFL preseason is shorter now, so you only have three games. So if Shadur Sanders is in the game as the fourth quarterback, he's probably definitely not playing with the number one or the number twos. That's offensive linemen. Running backs, wide receivers, everything you can possibly imagine. I had two coaches in my career, Mike Shanahan and Jay Gruden. Coach Shanahan and Coach Gruden would call the guys in the threes and the fours cab drivers. Now, I'm not saying I agreed with the way that they characterized these guys, but they would call them cab drivers because everybody in the building knew that most of those guys would not be playing in the NFL for past the end of that preseason. So not only is Shadur Sanders going in as the fourth quarterback, having to try to beat out two veterans and a rookie that was drafted before him, not only is Shadur Sanders going to be going out there and have the fewest amount of reps of all the guys when he has to prove and earn his way onto the roster. Shadur Sanders is going to be out there with cab drivers. He's going to be getting protected by guys who are not going to be playing in the NFL, throwing to guys who are probably not going to be playing in the NFL, and handing the football off to running backs that are probably not going to be playing in the NFL. The biggest takeaway there for me is he's going to be relying on guys who will not be playing in the NFL to protect his NFL dream. No one wants to talk about that right now. And I know why. Listen, I know the man that Shadir Sanders is. I know the man that Deion Sanders is. I have a great relationship with them. This is not about Shadir's talent because as I've stated before, he should have been a first round pick. That's what his tape said, regardless of the name on the back of his jersey. But the reality of the situation is they are setting him up to fail. A lot of people think that this confident young man needs to be humbled. There is no better way for someone to try to humble somebody by having them not make an NFL roster and make it as hard as possible for them to make that NFL roster. I don't think that's right. The solution for Shadur Sanders because we don't just like to talk about what's happening, we like to give solutions. The solutions for him is he's going to have to work four times harder than everybody else in the building. What he's trying to prove to the Cleveland Browns is not only should you keep me on this roster and I don't mean practice squad, I mean the actual 53 man roster. The reason you should keep me on this roster is because I am the best quarterback on your roster. And he's going to have to do that with less reps, with lesser talent around him, lesser protection around him and less time on task with the coaches. That's the bottom line. It's not just the fact that they drafted Dylan Gabriel in front of him. It's not just the fact that they traded for Kenny Pickett this offseason. It's not just the fact that they signed Super Bowl MVP and Super bowl champion Joe Flacco to be their de facto starter. It's the fact that Shedeur Sanders is really the show in Cleveland right now. He is the show. He has the number one selling jersey of all rookies and he was drafted in the fifth round. He goes to a local high school and he speaks to the students and it makes the news. Why? Because he's a popular player. Your fourth string quarterback in this moment is your most popular player on the team. That can be a problem for the other quarterbacks. That could be a problem for the organization. But all Shadir Sanders has to do is go put in the extra work that he already always does. There's a video circulating on the Internet right now of him already being in Cleveland and lunging up a hill and working on his craft. And because that's nothing new, that is who Shadir Sanders is. So if you hear some stories about a production meeting or something else, that that that didn't happen or did happen and it did. The guy didn't like it. He didn't have access to Shadur Sanders. That's not the Shadur Sanders that I've come to know. That's not the Shadur Sanders that his teammates have come to know. They know the guy that puts in the extra work. And now in Cleveland, he's got to put in more extra work than he could ever possibly imagine. But he's ready for it. And the reason he's ready for it is because he went to Jackson State, he went to an HBCU and he had lesser protection around him. He went to Colorado, a school that nobody wanted to go to go to that only had one win the previous season and he had lesser protection. And he led them to three more wins in year one and he led them to eight more wins in year two. Shadir Sanders is prepared more than any other quarterback in this draft to have to deal with this situation. And I think Deion Sanders taking him to Jackson State and taking him to Colorado has toughened this young man that he will swim in this environment when he's in Shark infested waters. There's a lot of people that want to see this young man fail. Him being the fourth quarterback on that Browns roster is a setup to fail. But if there was any quarterback that could succeed, it would be Shadir Sanders.
B
Our next segment is called out of pocket sports. Top eight. This is not Telemundo.
A
Okay? My bad. Number one.
B
Thank you. F1 driver Oscar Piastri from McLaren Racing won the Miami Grand Prix.
A
That's right. It was his third consecutive win of the season. This guy's unbelievable.
B
He also beat his teammate, Lando Norris again, who came in second. And George Russell of Mercedes came in third.
A
And I know what you're saying. What about Max Verstappen, the four time reigning defending Formula one driver champion of the world? He gave it fourth.
B
Okay.
A
He had a really tough start, and he could never recover. Piastri is super calm. Like, I gotta say this. As a. As an American, we always think, like, American football is everything. The end all, be all. But having a European in the house, you have to follow the rest of the world and understand that there's great traditions out there with F1, with football, because we're American football. So I'm an F1 fan now, and having watched the. The event this past weekend in Miami. It was incredible. Piastri, super calm, doesn't make mistakes. And at the end of the day, I feel like the championship is his to win at this point. Third consecutive win. And the main thing is, I'm not an F1 expert, not gonna lie to you guys, but I'm a fan. And that McLaren car right now is just on a whole nother level. It's like a freaking rocket ship. And McLaren has the two drivers of the right mindset to win it all.
B
I'm so proud of you, baby.
A
Oh, thank you.
B
Also, we do have to give a shout out to Andre Kimmy Antonelli of the Mercedes F1 team, who became the youngest ever to take the pole in any race format at 18 years old.
A
Yep. I agree. I agree.
B
Amazing.
A
Numero dos.
B
Nope.
A
Yes.
B
No.
A
Yes. Number two, shout out to my main man, Canelo Alvarez, becoming the undisputed super Middleweight Champion of the world after defeating.
B
Running William Skull on Saturday night. And guess what, people? You want to tell them, baby?
A
Nah, I don't tell him.
B
You know you want to tell them.
A
You bet you, sweetheart. I want to tell him. Guys, we finally get Canelo Alvarez versus Terence Crawford. I mean, this is the equivalent of getting Floyd Mayweather versus Manny Pacquiao, because these two brothers can and will fight.
B
I mean, Crawford basically retired Errol Spence Jr. And he is the boogeyman of boxing because nobody wants to face him.
A
That is true. Nobody wants to patient, but he face him. But he was patient and deliberate in trying to acquire this fight with Canelo Alvarez when a lot of people said that he would never get it. But now he's got it. There is no running. And I can tell you guys right now, this fight is a fight that everybody wants to see. When we talked about Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, one of the greatest fights of all time. But Floyd simply outclassed Manny Pacquiao. Pacquiao couldn't touch him. This fight right here between Terence Crawford and Canelo Alvarez, both of these guys have good defense, but they don't have Floyd Mayweather level defense. What that means is in order for them to get their shots off, their big shots, their big punches, they put themselves in harm's way. Both of them have great head movement, but both of them have that tenacity and that dog in them to make sure that, that when the stuff gets going, they get going. So I can't wait to watch this fight because Canelo is one of the goats of boxing. Terence Crawford wants to be one of the goats of boxing and people have been running from him. The fact that we get these two brothers now, this, this fight will be better than the Floyd Mayweather Manny Pacquiao fight. And I think it should make more money as well. Numero tres. Okay, number three. It's number three in Spanish. What is that? I don't think anybody knows that means. I know what it means. It's three in Estonian. But who speaks Estonian?
B
We do.
A
Yeah, we, we do. We do speak Estonian. Yes. Number three, shout out to Raleigh Rolando Romero, who beat Ryan Garcia over 12 rounds up in Times Square, knocked him down in the second round with a similar shot to what we saw in their sparring before. So if you know, you know what I'm talking about. But listen, Ryan Garcia is coming off of a, you know, a suspension after he beat Devin Haney. He was a little rusty, but Raleigh took advantage of the opportunity and got the win, winning 115, 112 twice and 118, 109 according to the judges. Hopefully Ryan Garcia can come back and show that the steroids weren't what helped him get to where he was at. But Raleigh puts himself in a really good spot, getting a big win over Ryan Garcia. Number four.
B
Good job.
A
You like that?
B
Yeah.
A
You like that? Number four, shout out to San Antonio. Harlan's Tate Taylor. This is a high schooler, guys. And he blasted a national record running the 100 meter dash in 9.92 seconds. I mean it's only the third fastest hundred meter ever run for a high school student. I mean the young man didn't just do that in the hundred. He came back in the 200 and also ran a win legal 20.14 to be the double champion in the 100 and the 200 meters. Make sure you check him out. These high schoolers right now are running so dang fast, I don't know what to say about it.
B
Numo number five, CC Messiah Russell, ran a new American record in 100 meter hurdles of 12:17 at a grand Slam track meet in Miami. Go girl.
A
You go girl. Numero says.
B
Number six, American teenager Maya Marriage swam 27 miles across the Cook Straight in New Zealand.
A
27.
B
27 miles. Not only that, but she swam for 14 hours. Anticipated to swim for seven. She ended up swimming for 14 hours with stood thousands of jellyfish things and doing, doing most of the swimming in the night time like in pitch black water. Like this is where your, your biggest fears come to life.
A
Oh, 100. I'm not swimming at night. Why would anyone swim at night? Clearly I wasn't ready for that jelly.
B
The jellyfish things were constant like 25 times a minute.
A
Really?
B
Yes. Ready. And they over and over. What? I like watching you.
A
Oh, that's so cute. Numero says number six. Number six. Number six.
B
American teenager Maya marriage swam 27 miles across the Cook Strait in New Zealand.
A
What?
B
Not only that, baby, she was swimming for 14 hours in most of the time in pitch black water in the middle of the night. It was supposed to be a seven hour swim which ended up being 14 hours because she had to withstand thousands and thousands of jellyfish stings.
A
Jellyfish.
B
Jellyfish.
A
Nah.
B
And jellyfish things were so constant that she got like 25aminute for 14 hours.
A
Oh my goodness.
B
And it was, it was literally just over and over and over again that she was getting stung. And they say that they equated to roughly a sting every third stroke.
A
Third stroke. Yeah, yeah, that's. I'm just not ready for that jelly. I'm not ready for that jelly. Nighttime swimming. Jellyfish stings.
B
20 miles.
A
Hey man, shout out to you. Because that ain't for me.
B
It's, it's just all bad. And her goal is actually to become the youngest person to complete the ocean's seven.
A
Okay, what's that?
B
So it's a series of brutal open water swims.
A
Which sounds pretty brutal. That sounds brutal by itself.
B
So she has now successfully traversed the Cook Strait, the Molokai Channel in Hawaii, the Catalina Channel off the coast of Los Angeles, and the English Channel between England and France, all before graduating high school.
A
Okay, well, she got her PhD in swimming, that's the dang. Sure.
B
But still on her to do list is also the North Channel between Ireland and Scotland, the Strait of Gibraltar between Spain and Morocco, and Sugar straight in no other than Japan.
A
Hey, I might swim that though. Japan. My people black and knees, baby.
B
And she has to do them all before January of 2028 to become the youngest to ever do it. So, Maya, we wish you nothing but luck, girl. And I hope those things of from the jellyfish just heal really quick.
A
100% rooting for you. Go do your thing, cuz. We ain't doing it. You got it. It's all you. Numero siete.
B
Number seven, CC shout out to Sovereignty for winning the 151st Kentucky Derby.
A
Dang, that's a lot of Kentucky derbies. But three year old Sovereignty is trained by Bill Mott and ridden by Venezuelan Joc Junior Alvarado.
B
I'm pretty sure it's Alvarado.
A
Verto Alvarado.
B
He's foreign.
A
It's like Alfredo Jr. Jr.
B
Yep.
A
Okay. Anyway, they entered the race as the favorites, nine to one odds to win. And they pulled it off.
B
So you're trying to tell me that that Sovereignty proved that? Toddlers do. Listen, after getting spanked a couple times.
A
Okay, I see where you're going with that. Yes, that is the truth.
B
Sovereignty also showed that it's not how you start, it's how you finished. Because I mean, she finished really strong.
A
Super strong. And then at the end of the day, journalism always comes in second, just like it does today.
B
Wow.
A
Number eight as he see. Well, the wars and Rockets series came to an end at the end of the day. The warriors won the series because their championship experience and pedigree showed up in the same way that the Houston Rockets youth showed up. And this is the crazy thing, because of their depth and experience. Steph Curry only scored one bucket in the first half, but his guy buddy healed, picked up the rest of the team by hitting six three pointers in the first half to have them go into halftime with a 12 point lead.
B
You know what I call that?
A
What you call it.
B
Hbo Help a brother out.
A
That's what I'm talking about. Up top. That was great.
B
I got another one.
A
Okay.
B
We all need a buddy. Like healed.
A
Yes. Oh, she is on fire.
B
Because he hit 90 three pointers to tie the record for the most threes in game seven of the NBA playoffs.
A
Wow. I mean, that's incredible.
B
But honestly, the real story of that is Jalen Green struggles.
A
Yes, it is. And listen, Jaylen Green is very young, 23 years old, very young. He. He is going to be a superstar in this league. But you cannot get away from the fact that the reason the Houston Rockets season came to an end early was because Jaylen Green didn't show up in the playoffs. The bottom line is the young man is their leading scorer. And if your leading scorer is not going to come to the playoffs and play to the same levels he did in the regular season, you know, averaging 21 points per game, you know, helping you secure the number two seed, then that's what happens in the playoffs. He goes from averaging 21 to average in 14. And that's even misleading because in Game 2, he had 38 points. All the other games, he scored 11 points or less. So Jalen Green, I want him to understand that the people in Houston love him. He doesn't need to be traded. There's no need to ship him out. I've seen the young man play live and in person, and it's like poetry in motion. The warriors ended up, you know, blitzing him a bunch, forcing him to shoot contested shots and not allow him to get to his favorite spots on the court. Take it as a learning lesson, young man. Go back to the drawing board in the off season. Make sure no team can ever do that to you again. Develop a counter to what they did to you, your super special player. The bottom line is, because you didn't have the best playoff series you could have, your team is sitting at home now.
B
All right, guys, we are moving on to our next segment called our out of pocket moments of the Week. Say what? Number one.
A
All right, guys, there is a debate out there in the social media multiverse about 100 men versus one gorilla. Can 100 unarmed men kill one gorilla? What do you think?
B
This is the most out of pocket discussion of all time.
A
Oh, I just don't disagree. I think.
B
Where did it come from? Why is it happening? Because it makes no sense. Because. Okay, first of all, what type of gorilla are we talking about? Are we talking about, like, King Kong gorilla?
A
No, no, no. King Kong is not a gorilla. King Kong is the king of the jungle. Yes, he is. We've seen. We've seen the movies.
B
Okay?
A
So we're Talking about a silver back gorilla, one silverback gorilla versus 100 unarmed men. Who do you think wins?
B
I, I'm going to go with the gorilla.
A
Why? It's 100% the men that win.
B
What is a, what is a one man's kick with no weapons going to do to a gorilla?
A
Oh, it'll do absolutely nothing. One man will get torn apart by a gorilla. I think we've actually seen that.
B
He's going to tear the other man apart too.
A
That's the thing. You got to realize. I actually. Scientific research, I did it. I didn't just use AI or chat GPT. I went in, I went in and did the real research. And here's the, here's the fact.
B
He did not tell me to do research.
A
Hey, listen, you gotta, you gotta be ready for the debate, okay? The gorilla is effective in short bursts.
B
Where's my popcorn buckets?
A
A gorilla is effective in short bursts. Which means of the hundred men, the first 30 are gonna die. I'm sorry, they're gonna die. You have no opportunity. So you got to find 30 people who are willing to die for this lonely cause of proving that 100 men could kill one gorilla. After that short burst, the gorilla will get tired. So I've seen a lot of people talking about, oh, well, the guys got to be, they got to be organized. They don't really have to be organized. They just all have to attack at the same time. Because if you tired the gorilla out, there is a chance that those last 20 men won't be severely hurt or severely injured, but, but they'll be dominant and be able to dominate that gorilla. That is scientific. Gorillas cannot fight for that long. So the longer the fight goes, the better chance the 100 men have. But don't let it be, don't let it get twisted. 70 of them, 100 men going to be dead or hurt severely. Broken legs, broken spines, you know, paralyzed from the neck down. But they're going to be 30 guys that can pound their chest like. Yeah, that's right. Thank you, Claude, for sacrificing your life for this dumb cause of 100 men killing one gorilla.
B
But that's the truth that they get nothing for.
A
They get nothing for social media cred. Also. You also have to ask yourself, since you're picking the gorilla, is this gorilla ready to fight? Like, does the gorilla know?
B
Does the gorilla know the fights happen?
A
Gorilla know that the fight is happening.
B
You know, I'm assuming.
A
No, I'm assuming is he just.
B
You just.
A
Is this a zoo gorilla or, or Is this a wild gorilla?
B
Oh, it's not no zoo gorilla.
A
Cuz a zoo gorilla going to be sitting there eating a banana, you know, looking at them like throwing some poop, like what they doing. But that wild gorilla out there has.
B
To be a wild gorilla.
A
I think it's got to be a wild gorilla.
B
And the men have to show up to his territory.
A
Yeah. Cuz then he'll protect his territory. Cuz the zoo gorilla is like a suburban man, you know, little softer and.
B
Maybe tell us, tell the viewer who the. Who that wild gorilla is.
A
The wild gorilla is from Copper's Cove, Texas. That's right. Seatown, baby. Seatown. They call it the COVID That's my hood. The cold.
B
Let me see. If y' all don't know, we had.
A
Ostriches in the backyard.
B
If y' all don't know where Copper Scope, Texas is, it is not the hood. And Robert is not from the hood.
A
I'm from Seatown.
B
Oh my God. Guys, please.
A
Okay, Seatown.
B
Okay.
A
Copper's Cove. Better you better recognize. In Texas, we known. All right. If the gorilla was from Copper's Cove, nobody's got a chance. Okay, Nobody's got a chance. Moving on. Oh, my God. Here we go.
B
Number two, Sexy red goes viral. Wearing a hijab in Dubai while throwing up poses that are not quite appropriate while wearing a hijab in a country that is very, very. How do I say that? Conservative. Where was she at in Dubai?
A
She was in Dubai. Oh, okay. What do you think about that?
B
So social media went in a frenzy over it. And I mean, I. I agree with social media because I feel like as a foreigner, okay. You need to respect other people's cultures.
A
Agreed.
B
I feel like her pictures were highly disrespectful towards the Muslim culture. The. The people in Dubai, the con. What the country of Dubai stands for. And you know, you go to Dubai, they tell you those things, like what you're supposed to do not to do. Like you wear. You show a little bit of leg, the men are gonna throw rocks at you. You know what I mean? Like, so for her to pose, like.
A
And we're not saying that. That's right. We're not saying that's right.
B
But for her to pose, wearing the hijab with her middle fingers up, you know, showing her butt and all that.
A
I.
B
My personal opinion, Highly disrespectful.
A
Yeah.
B
To their culture. Don't know why she would do that. Don't want little girls to look up to that or behave like that. So I'm I think she was out of pocket for that one.
A
Yeah, she was definitely out of pocket. And, and listen, this isn't, this isn't a thing of like, you know, what color somebody is. I just think it's a, you know, it's a cultural norm. If you're going to go to somebody else's country, you need to respect, you know, what they're expecting out of the tourists. You know, when you go to a mosque, you don't just go to the mosque wearing apple bottom jeans, boots with the fur. Right. You go in and you wear the hijab and you, and you make sure that you respect their customs and their traditions. It doesn't mean that you have to agree with everything that they believe in religiously. It doesn't mean you have to agree with everything that they do politically. But, but you should respect them enough to not disrespect them. So that's, that's, that's kind of how my feeling on.
B
You don't even have to go to their country to respect other people's beliefs, other people's culture. You know what I mean? Like we should all respect other people's different beliefs, different cultures while sitting in your own culture, sitting in your own country. Like, yeah, here we go.
A
Number three, out of pocket. Moment of the week.
B
Bill Belichick and his 24 year old girlfriend, Jordan Hudson are no longer in a private relationship.
A
Oh, okay.
B
Did you hope. I was saying are no longer in a relationship.
A
I think everybody was, I think everybody was, you know, you know, no disrespect, but yes.
B
So it is now a public relationship that almost everybody at this point is invested in. And in the most recent CBS interview to promote Bill's book tour went absolutely horrible. Jordan would not allow him to answer certain questions, they would not allow them to ask certain questions. And she was just speaking for Bill, telling him pretty much what he can and can't say.
A
Whoa, you're telling me that this 24 year old woman, Jordan Hudson was speaking for 73 year old, six time Super bowl winning head coach Bill Belichick?
B
Yes.
A
On his book tour.
B
Yes.
A
Okay, that, I mean, I've had enough, I've had enough. Listen, I think love is love, right? Love is love. But my God, this woman has allegedly shut down the Hard Knocks documentary about the North Carolina Tar Heels featuring Bill Belichick in his first year as a college football coach after it was agreed to and after it was announced to the masses. Major red flag. Allegedly. She also allegedly forced her way into the Dunkin Donuts super bowl commercial, the allegedly, allegedly all of these things that are coming out now are painting her, this relationship and Bill Belichick in a massively negative light. And we are not ones to opine on somebody's relationship like do what you want, it is what it is. But when you take into account all of that, what is what comes to mind for you?
B
I would want to say like oh, happy wife, happy life. But she is not even a fiance.
A
Exactly. She's the girlfriend. And when you take that into account and you couple it with Shannon Sharp, which if you don't know, Shannon Sharp is getting sued for $50 million by a 20 year old only fans girl for alleged unspeakable acts that we will not talk about that no woman should ever have to be put through if that is what happened. But that leads us to our next and last segment of the Deep End. All right, the Deep End. This is where we talk about the topics that we feel like needs to be opined on a little bit more. Okay, so the question that we have, after listening and watching what's going on with Bill Belichick and Jordan Hudson and watching what's going on with Shannon Sharp and his accusers because it's not just one, it's multiple. The question I have for you and for you at home, let us know what you think in the comments. Should 50 year old men be dating 20 year old women? What do you think? What do you think?
B
That is a very hard question to answer. My personal opinion is hell no. Okay, what are we talking about? Bill Belichick is Jordan Hudson's grandpa.
A
Yeah.
B
That's not even a dad, that's a granddad. Like what are we talking about here? That's creepy on both ends. Like I don't. My personal opinion. No thanks. Very creepy. I don't think it should happen. But you know they say love knows no bounds and all of that. But like if you fall in love with somebody that's 19, 20, 21, 22 and early 20s, as a 70, 60, 50 year old man, you have some sort of issue going on that needs to be fixed first.
A
Yeah, I don't know man. It's like my answer is no. It's flat out no. And I agree. Love knows no bounds. It knows no age, it knows no color, it knows it doesn't even know the oceans. Right. You can, you can find love across the sea over in Europe, you know, in, in Australia, New Zealand, wherever it may be. You can find love in all types of places. I am not saying that there's a 73 year old out there who doesn't love a 24 year old. What I am saying is it is hella weird. And not just weird, but it's uncomfortable because at 73 you should be a grandparent. You should be taking care of the grandkids, you know, babysitting babies or if not that, if you don't have, I'm.
B
Pretty sure Billy's a grandparent.
A
If you don't, I don't know, if you don't have kids, you should be traveling the world with your partner who's also in their 70s, and enjoying life and enjoying retirement, living in Naples, Florida, you know, seeing the beach, listening to the waves. I don't know if a 70 year old should be dating a 20 year old for the very reasons that we're running into now. You see, as a 70 year old, I'm not a 7 year old, I'm 35. But 70 year olds, I, I've known some 7 year olds in my life. They know grace, they know humility, they know life experiences, they know who you are in that stage of your life and how to manage those situations to where it doesn't come off as if it's caddy.
B
Yeah.
A
Or controlling. When you see what happened with Shannon Sharp, you say to yourself, as a 50 year old man, why are you dealing with things that 20 year olds have to deal with you? You should be more mature in your own life that you're not having to deal with those things. But this comes back to me, to faith and be honest. You know, a lot of people don't want to take it there, but for me it comes back to faith. If you're living a promiscuous life at 50 years old, it's going to come up and catch up with you. I, I, there's a 50 year old should not be having relations with a 20 year old. You're at two different stages in your life. I mean you're at like three different stages than that 20 year old. Your level of maturity is higher, your level expectation is higher. So if you are trying to fulfill any fetishes or any role playing, you should find that role playing with someone your age, someone who's willing to play the same game as you because those 20 year olds are not playing the same game as you. And I say that from a, from a place of faith. I have a wife, I have children. I, I want to be the greatest dad and the greatest father and the greatest husband that I can possibly be. So I'm not running through these Streets. But if you are running through the streets, you should probably run through the streets with someone you can keep up with. And 73 year old Bill Belichick cannot keep up with this 24 year old and she's tarnishing his legacy. That to me is the issue. Shannon Sharp is killing it when it comes to content and coming to his podcast and his shows. And now he's lost his job at espn. Not lost his job, he's been, he's stepping away from espn. But you could make the argument that he's losing his job at ESPN for cause that's tarnishing his legacy. Now they're bringing up everything else that happened to him at CBS and at Fox and all these other networks because of this negative publicity he's getting from dealing with 20 year olds.
B
Tell me how you feel about this. Take those two examples, right?
A
Yep.
B
I almost feel like I feel differently about them.
A
Okay.
B
Because I feel like in Shannon Sharpe and 20 year old only fangirls case, I feel like Shannon Sharpe as a 50 year old man at this point you are taking advantage of a girl. That is a 20 year old girl is not fully mature. You can say that they are an adult. Yes. But they make stupid decisions. Okay. We've all been 20, so I feel like a 50 year old man would be taking advantage of a 20 year old woman because they don't know better. But when I think of Bill Belichick as a 73 year old and Jordan Hudson as a 24 year old now I almost want to flip it and say Jordan Hudson is the one taking advantage of Bill Belichick because he's old and probably not gonna, you know, get married again or none of that. So.
A
Wow.
B
Like, I don't know how to put that, but like I know, like is it, do I feel that way because of the bigger age gap or like.
A
No, I think you're, I think you're, you're onto something there because the 73 year old, like we all know our grandparents, right? If your grandparents, or maybe it's your parents, maybe your parents are in their 70s. Or for us, like our grandparents are in their 70s. Grandparents don't really care about much. Yeah, right. They, they might walk around the house naked 23 hours out of the 24 hour day. They're not going to trip on a bunch of stuff. You know, most 73 year olds, they just let things fly. They don't care. They don't want to even muster up the energy to combat something. And sometimes when I watch these clips of Jordan Hudson and Bill Belichick. It just looks to me like Bill is like, you know what? I'm having fun. I don't care what any of y' all think. And she can say and do whatever she wants because she's my girlfriend and I'm okay with that. And I just. It's hard to watch the guy that you believe is the greatest coach in NFL history do something like this. And it's gotten to the point where, like, he is very protected in the media. Even though he didn't, like, he wasn't great to the media when he was a coach, he's very protected in the media. And like, even those guys are saying, hey, this is making me uncomfortable. This is not the Bill Belichick that I know. And I just feel like as an older man, you don't want to ever put yourself in that situation where you're opening up your private life to be dissected because you have a damn near 50 year age gap between yourself and the person that you're dating. And this is not just a football thing. You know, y' all, listen, I love Leonardo DiCaprio. Hey, Leo, you want to come on the show? Anytime, brother. But a lot of people have have killed Leo DiCaprio for dating younger women. And I just let us know what y' all think in the comments about whether Bill Belichick and Jordan Hudson is, is love, real love, or you think, what do you think about what's going on in that relationship and also what you think about the Shannon sharp situation. Should 50 year old men, 50 plus year old men be dating 20 year olds? I say no.
B
I also say no.
A
