The Dallas Cowboys are the worst team in the NFL. I believe that the Eagles are the most resilient team in the NFL and that decision was Jerry Jones's to trade Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers. Good luck trying to get Jerry Jones to sell this team. It's not the player's fault. It's the identity and the culture that was created. Yo, yo, yo. B
Opening drive. The Bears beat the Cowboys 3114 at Soldier Field, earning their first win of the season under their new head coach, Ben Johnson. Quarterback Caleb Williams tied his career high with four touchdown passes, but the Dallas Cowboys lost their star wide receiver, CD Lamb in the first half to an ankle injury and their offense and defense struggled to stop the Bears all day. Are the Cowboys in trouble?
A
Yes, resoundedly, yes, the Cowboys are in trouble. And I'll even take it a step further. The Dallas Cowboys are the worst team in the NFL.
B
Ow.
A
They have the worst team culture in the NFL. And I know there are teams that have worse records, but I don't think there's a team that's more delusional than the Al scalp was. Not. Not even close. They're delusional because these other teams know they're bad. The Saints know they're going through a rebuild. The Miami Dolphins know what their issues are and what they got to do to get tougher inside the trenches and just mentally in general. But the Dallas Cowboys have this roster of extreme talent that was destroyed by one decision, and that decision was Jerry Jones's to trade Micah Parsons to the to the Green Bay Packers. Listen to the stats of the last two quarterbacks that face the Dallas Cowboys defense. You got Caleb Williams, who was 19 to 28 for 298 yards and tied his career high in touchdown passes. Before against Dallas Cowboys you got Russell Wilson, who was 30 of 41 for 450 yards and three touchdowns. Both of these guys had a pass rating over 120. Both of them had a QBR over 70. And Caleb Williams QBR was 86.7. Do you think that's happening if Micah Parsons is on this football team? No, not even close. You see the dividends that he's paying for Rashawn Gary and the Green Bay packers right now and how much pressure they're putting on the quarterback. The Dallas Cowboys ultimately are just a collection of really good individual athletes. Individual players. It's not the players fault. It's the identity and the culture that was created by Jerry Jones, which is why the Dallas Cowboys haven't been an NFC championship game in 30 years.
B
Oh my God.
A
Exactly. That's how long it's been. That's how long Dallas Cowboy fans have had to deal with this. And the only way that it's going to come to an end is if they clean house. And I'm gonna be very specific about what I mean by that. Good luck trying to get Jerry Jones to sell this team. But they're gonna have to reset and understand it's not working. We've been down this road before. They go 1 and 2. They might rattle off 8, 9, 10 straight wins, whatever it may be, but this team, because it's not a team and they don't have that camaraderie, doesn't know how to win in the clutch. The best teams, the closest teams, are the ones that win in the clutch because they know they got each other's back. And I don't think this organization as a whole is focused on winning.
B
I totally agree. Let's move on to viral spiral. Jordan Davis hit 18.59 miles per hour at 340 pounds on a blocked kick touchdown.
A
Say what?
B
Exactly. That is scary.
A
Scary is an understatement.
B
Do you think the Eagles are Super bowl favorites this year?
A
Yes. I believe the Eagles are Super bowl favorites. I believe that the Eagles are the most resilient team in the NFL and let me tell you why. This team was down 26 to 7.
B
Yes.
A
Rattled off 26 unanswered points to win the game. 33. 26. I want everyone to go back and watch. Watch Jalen hurts his reaction as the play is going on. There's a side by side video and we'll show, we'll show the picture. You can see his Reaction, Unmoved, unfazed. It didn't shock him. It wasn't surprising to him. It almost felt like it was expected.
B
Like a, like a Jordan when he hit, when he dunked or hit the three or any of it. Unmoved.
A
Correct.
B
He knew that's what he was doing.
A
He knew this. This is what greatness is. And it wasn't even Jalen Hurts in his greatness. It was his expectation of his team. I mean that was Jordan Davis's second block field goal of the day. Yeah, he just block it. He picked it up and ran it back to the house thick six style. And to me, I look at the Philadelphia Eagles and I say this team feels almost like Thanos. They feel inevitable. They feel like they're, they are building the new dynasty. And as long as Jalen Hurts is leading the way, I don't think there's anything this team can't do. And I don't think there's a game they can't. They don't believe they can come back and win. This is Tom Brady level 283 in the Super Bowl. Level resiliency from this Eagle squad. The rest of the NFL better watch out.
B
I like it. Hey, guess what I'm about to say.
A
No, what is it?
B
The Cleveland Browns win. Hey, last week I didn't think I was gonna say that. But the Cleveland Browns won their first game of the year beating Green Bay 13 to 10 thanks to a 55 yard field goal as time expired by Andre Schmidt. The packers were up 100 most of the game but the Jordan Love interception and a touchdown by Quin Sean Judkins tied it late in the game. A blocked field goal by Shelby Harris sealed green base fate and set up schmidt's heroic from 55.
A
Shout out to the Cleveland Brown fans. You guys have been through a lot over the years. A definitely at the quarterback position. You get to watch Baker Mayfield out here balling out when you could have had him as your quarterback but instead you went and got desean Watson. We all know how that went. But I will say this. That 55 yard field goal saved Joe Flacco's starting job. I want the Browns fans to celebrate. But if they lost that game, it would have been Dylan Gabriel time. And I can tell you right now, if they lose next week, it's going to be Dylan Gabriel time. Because this team cannot afford to go halfway through the year be below 500 starting a 40 year old quarterback. So Dylan Gabriel get ready. Shadir Sanders should be getting ready because if the Browns do come out of this next three to four game stretch with a winning record. I mean, they might be playoff bound because this is the hardest schedule in the NFL. So shout out to Smite. Shout out to the Cleveland Browns and their fan base, but we are still on Dylan Gabriel watch because I don't expect the Browns to win a ton of games over the next four weeks.
B
Sorry for saying your name wrong. Smite. Miami Hurricanes beat the Florida Gators 26 to 7. Miami held the Gators to 32 total yards and only one first down in the first half. What they they held the Gators to oh for 13 on third downs. Got four sacks and seven tackles for loss. That dominating performance shot them up to number two in the AP pose. Is Miami for real?
A
For real?
B
Like they for real, for real?
A
No, Miami is for real.
B
Are they really that good?
A
No, Miami is that good. And the reason I say that is because of their defense. You just mentioned all the stats there, the sacks, the tackles for loss. We've seen them go up against Notre Dame, who has bounced back. Now looking at, you know, they're at 1 and 2, still a ranked team and they, Notre Dame has to win out to kind of fulfill their schedule. But Miami, I feel like they got one of them ones, y'.
B
All.
A
Miami's got one of those ones. And Reuben Bain Jr. I'm not about one of them Warren SAP ones. I one of them guys that, that just changes the trajectory of your season. Your team's mindset, the way they are dominating, you mentioned it, 32 yards at halftime.
B
Crazy.
A
This isn't a Florida team that's not stacked with talent. They might be off, they might be a little down on DJ Lagway, but that Florida team has talent. And so for Miami to go into a rivalry game where we know rivalry games, you know, all bets are off, records don't matter. And to dominate in that fashion, let me know that they are real and I'll take it a step further. Reuben Band Jr. We talk about what does it mean to be a Heisman guy. If. If the Heisman Trophy is truly about giving the trophy or having conversations about the trophy with guys that are truly game changers, once in a lifetime type of players, some of the most exciting players in the country, then Reuben Bane Jr. Should be in the conversation.
B
Yes.
A
And, and I say that knowing if you look at the numbers and the stats, they don't jump off the chart for you. He's only got a couple sacks, he's only got a couple TFLs. But when you Watch the tape. This man has Heisman worthy footage that the eye and sky is not lying about. If he can obtain the stats, I will vote this man to New York myself and go on a campaign for to get him in New York. I understand the stats matter. When you look at defensive guys, historically they've had to either play both ways or just be utterly dominant to even be in the conversation. Yeah, Reuben Bane Jr. Is that type of player. Miami got them one of them ones.
B
Indiana made their Big Ten statement. Number 19, Indiana smoked. Number nine, Illinois, 63 to 10, beating them by 53 points. So is Indiana underrated or was Illinois just overhyped?
A
I like to focus on the team that won.
B
Okay.
A
Right. So I think Indiana is underrated. Okay. I think, I think they are for real. And I know people have a bad taste in the mouth. Last year from the College Football Playoff, but when you look at this team, my God, Fernando Mendoza, the quarterback already has 14 touchdown passes. He's protecting the football. They have 579 total yards against this Illinois team. Their defense only gave up 161 yards.
B
Yeah.
A
I mean in Illinois's offense coming into this game, high powered. Their people very excited about what they would be able to accomplish. And they literally, they didn't just stop them, they broke their will.
B
Broke them.
A
And let me get to Kurt Signetti, the head coach. This guy's one of the best coaches in the country. He, he, he has an aura about him that the young generation like gravitates towards.
B
Yeah.
A
And in his post game presser he said we broke their will because we just kept pounding them. Pounding them, pounding them with the rock.
B
Yeah.
A
When a coach, this guy's known for saying some, some funny stuff and known for saying some, some out of pocket things. But at the end of the day he has this Indiana squad believing they are no longer a basketball school. They ain't no basketball school no more. They are in the thick of it in the Big Ten and they have a matchup coming up against Oregon that is going to really tell us how much of the thick of it they can be in. But I'm a believer in Indiana and Kurt Signetti is one of the best coaches in the country. He's got those boys rolling.
B
All right. Alabama says that their new theme is no mercy. The slogan was introduced by head coach Kaylin DeBoer during halftime of their game against Wisconsin. Wisconsin. He used it to energize the team and make it clear what the mindset going forward should be. Don't let up no mercy. So is this power or is this just pure panic?
A
I think it's power. I think it's power. No mercy. Right. That, that sounds, you know, power in the panic.
B
It sounds like Cobra Kai to me.
A
Yeah, that's actually pretty good. It does sound like Cobra Kai. And. And the reason that's powerful is like having mantras as a team is like a calling card that connects everybody together.
B
Yeah.
A
Right. So when you look at this Alabama team, they have been known under Caitlin DeBoer, whether true or false, to not be dominating.
B
Yeah.
A
Have this perception of softness, like they're not going to give maniacal effort. Well, your job as a coach and as a player is to self scout and say, where are my weaknesses? Okay. There's a perception that we aren't tough. Let's go show them we're tough. There's a perception that we're soft. Let's go show them that we're not soft. There's a perception that we're not going to be maniacal. And as dominating as they were in the Nick Saban era, let's go show them that we can do that. So a few weeks ago I said that Katelyn DeBoer was one of my coaches of the week because they came off of their game against Florida State.
B
Yeah.
A
Where they got dominated. After the first years of the game. They got dominated and they came out and they blew out their next opponent. And they've come out and they've. It feels like they have this. It's no mercy, but it's like finish.
B
You can see that finish.
A
It was a great job. Awesome. Well, we got to finish the next one. It was a great tackle. Awesome. We got to finish the next tackle. So I actually think there is power in Alabama is not an untalented team as well. They have talent.
B
Yeah.
A
Kaylin DeBoer is a phenomenal football coach. The question was, can he be a phenomenal football coach in Alabama? And I think he's starting to understand, hey, you think I can't do this? I'm gonna show you.
B
Watch me. He said, watch this.
A
Watch this. So bravo to Alabama. No mercy. I like it.
B
All right. NFL's warning to Brady's flag football game. NFL told the players that if they join the fanatics flag football classic, AKA the Brady flag football game in Saudi Arabia, they are on their own. No protection and they will not cover players in case of any injuries. So what is the NFL really saying here?
A
Yeah, I mean, the NFL is saying if you get injured over inside Saudi Arabia playing flag football it ain't got nothing to do with us. All the contract guarantees that you have can go away. I don't want to say they're discouraging players from going. They just want players to understand that if you go over there and you get hurt, this is not put on by the NFL. So you do not have our umbrella of protection. I know there's a lot of, you know, analysts out there who are upset for various reasons outside of sport, for the players being or going to Saudi Arabia, that's for each player to individually decide. The NFL is basically saying we are not telling you to go and your team can forbid you from going. So understand that if Brady and them pick you to go, you don't have an automatic sign off from your team.
B
Wait, Brady. Brady's picking the players? Brady.
A
I don't. I mean, you know, sources said that Brady is picking the players, but at the end of the day, the NFL teams who own the rights to the players can determine if they can't, can or cannot go. And that's up to them to decide.
B
Would you go play?
A
100. I easily go play.
B
Hey, Brady, you got one.
A
Come on, bro. I play quarterback, wide receiver. I could be a rusher. I know flag football. Now, he takes more than just playing quarterback, buddy.
B
Our kids team is undefeated in flag football.
A
So this is a fact. This is a fact. All right, people, now we're gonna switch it up and go 2 minute drill with Greta. I'm give her some of the hottest topics and she has two minutes. Let's go ahead and put two minutes on the screen and start the countdown right about when I finish the first question. Here we go. Could I take. Are you ready?
B
I don't know.
A
Here we go. Travis Kelsey's obscene gesture. Fine. Travis kelsey was fined $14,000 for making a gesture towards an eagle sideline after a 23 yard catch. The moment went viral and people are talking about what that gesture says about the chief's frustration this season. What do you think?
B
What did he do?
A
I mean, he kind of. He went like this.
B
He juggled his. Juggle his balls.
A
He juggled the footballs. What are you. What? He juggled the footballs. The clock is running. What do you think?
B
I think the NFL needs to stop punishing people for freaking celebrating. Come on.
A
I agree. It's supposed to be a fun game.
B
Exactly.
A
Here we go. NFL ref backlash. And the tush push.
B
My favorite thing. Tush push. Okay.
A
A comment caught on the broadcast stirred up controversy over whether the tushbush is handled the correct way the NFL has sent sent instructions to the Erefs and fans are divided about whether the play is legal, fair or just overly gimmicky. What do you think?
B
Oh, my God. Why are we just arguing over a tush push? First of all, the name is already so good that I'm all for it.
A
All right, here we go. Number three, Arizona State player Moth Baylor humping the logo after a walk off field goal. What do you think about that?
B
You say he humped the logo?
A
Yeah, he humped the bump.
B
Oh my God. You can't do that. See, I said I'm all for celebrating, but not that. Don't do that.
A
So you're not all for celebrating.
B
Nice celebrating.
A
Here we go. Packers. Jaden Reed goes live from hospital bed after hospital bed after. Collarborn. Collarborn. What is going on here? After collarbone surgery. He did an Instagram live just a few hours after the surgery and he was still a little loopy from the pain meds. What do you think about that?
B
I love that. My favorite Tik toks Instagram reels. Everything is but people are on on their meds like dentists just fresh off of anesthesia. Those are hilarious. I didn't see it alive, but I'm sure it was great.
A
And last but certainly not least, the Celtic fans protest delays their match vs Patrick Tissel supporters display placards, chanted, sacked the board, delaying the game and upsetting. Oh, they're very pretty upset over poor performance and a lack of transfer activity. What do you think about fans? When is it okay for them to disrupt? When is it okay for them to try to influence ownership to make changes on the field for their favorite soccer teams?
B
Never fans are there to cheer you on and like be a fanatic. That's your job. You don't have any other job.
A
So.
B
No, never.
A
All right. And that is our two minute drill with Greta.
B
I did it. All right. All right, guys, hometown highlights. Here's one of our highlights right here. This is Gia with her ring pop. Robert called Michigan State at USC this previous weekend and I will let him tell you all about it.
A
Yes. USC versus Michigan State Big Ten matchup after dark. Yeah, it was really after dark for Michigan State fans. They were, they were pretty upset about the game being, you know, 11, 11pm Eastern kickoff time. And they made a game out of it with usc. And I was shocked. But the real story was Jaden Myaba, the quarterback for usc, playing his way into the Heisman conversation. In my opinion, he went out there through for 234 yards and three touchdowns. Also had a really nice rushing touchdown. Makai Lemon. On the broadcast I said he was a lemon head because every single defense that he faces, he makes him pucker up every time they see see him. USC was impressive to me. The, the, the knock on Lincoln Riley over the years at USC has been the toughness similar to the knock on Kaylin DeBoer at Alabama. Right. Well, what did they do? They went out and they ran the football down Michigan State's throat. This is a Michigan State team that is a true Big Ten team that is built like a Big Ten team to where you have to be able to own the line of scrimmage and own the trenches to beat them. And USC did just that. I really believe them running for 289 yards and three touchdowns between Waymond Jordan and Eli Sanders. It was the most impressive part of the game because it wasn't what you would think when you think Lincoln rally office, you think spread them out, throw it all over the place. But truly when he's at his best is when he's in 12 personnel, one one back and two tight ends. They even ran a lot of 22 personnel where they had two tight ends and two backs and they were dominating. That version of USC can beat any team in the country as their defense with deann Lynn continues to hone in their secondary and the giving up of the big plays. This team can play with anyone. And we will know more next week, you know, and we're going to know more when they face off against Oregon. They have, they have a lot of opportunities to prove that this is a different USC team. If they stay healthy, they can outscore anyone. The question is can they stop these other teams from scoring? We'll see.
B
Yeah. This weekend Robert is going to be calling Utah at West Virginia.
A
Yes. So make sure you guys check out. That will be Saturday. This will be a 3:30 game, I believe.
B
Yes. 3:30. Saturday the 27th.
A
The 27th. Utah coming off of a disappointing loss to Texas Tech. Devin Dampier was in my Heisman conversation with last week, didn't play that well this week so he's out of it for now. But coming up against a West Virginia team that is always dangerous. Got blown out by Kansas, but you know, it's very difficult to go into Morgantown. I, I'm really excited to go to Morgantown, meet the fans, find out where the best eating spots are and call one heck of a football game. So hopefully you guys will come out and support your volunteers and it'll be.
B
A great Game and Robert actually sat down with them in this week at Utah, took a three hour flight to Utah with Fox and they showed it that big noon kickoff on Saturday. Yes, they showed it on this past Saturday. And so if you haven't seen it yet, go check it out. We only got positive feedback. It was great. Robert looking very dapper.
A
Oh, thank you, thank you. Thank you very much. Big known kickoff debut. So very excited about that and for sure looking forward to working with those guys much more. Everything at Fox is, you know, honestly, been. Been amazing. And again, shout out to shout out to my crew. Jason Benetti, Alexa Landa Story, Bo Garrett and Darren. You know, our camera guys. Yeah, everybody's been really, really great to me at Fox. I really mean that. I'm having fun. And that's what you ultimately want it to be. If we're having fun and everybody at home is having fun and it feels good to be on a team again and back on the road. Everybody's taking care of each other and that's what you love to see.
B
Happy for you, baby. All right. We also went to see the movie Him. What were your thoughts on it? And I also want to know what, if you guys have seen it, what are your thoughts on the movie Him?
A
Okay. This is the Jordan Peele film starring Marlon Ways and Marlon Wayne's. So I'm just being honest. Okay. I believe the movie was good. It was good. And I understood everything that Jordan Peele was trying to get at with all of the sacrifices that you have to make as a player, as a professional athlete, to be the greatest you can be. I thought it was a clear not shot, but I thought it was a clear representation of Tom Brady because in the movie, spoiler alert, Mona Wayans has eight championship rings and Tom Brady had seven. So I thought they were definitely saying this is what you have to sacrifice to become the goat. And as a football player, I don't think there was one reference I didn't understand. But as a normal human being who is not a football player, how did.
B
You feel about it as an athlete? I still, I feel like I understood all the references. It was very, very deep and very dark.
A
Dark. Yeah.
B
So I feel like one of the main things I took out of the movie, which I don't know if that's true or not, but that's how I felt was you have to almost sell your soul to the devil to be great or to get what you want. If you're like what he asked in a movie, spoiler alert. What are you willing to sacrifice. And he says everything. So, like, he was literally willing to do whatever. It didn't matter. And to make me. That was almost selling your soul to the devil.
A
Yeah, there's nothing in this world that's worth selling your soul to the devil for. And you also notice how, like, when I said like a normal person, she like, totally disregarded that. She was like, boy, I ain't no regular person. She said, as an athlete. As an athlete, I'm like, okay, I got you, baby. Honestly, she is not a regular person, y'. All, this woman, okay, has birthed three children and looks like this, this woman just walked on the New York Fashion Week stage. This woman is a 84 time all American. All right. Hey, she ain't no regular person. And also, if you guys, that's how I took it.
B
I don't know if you guys are new here and don't know that this is like a running bit that Robert downs that. I'm 84. I'm actually a three time all American. Okay, let's get that straight. Three time all American.
A
All right, let's get to the next portion of Hometown Highlights. What you got?
B
Me and the girls and you, baby. Started doing Taekwondo a couple. A couple years ago, we took a little break in the middle because life happened. Life happened. We had a baby, everything. And this last week we just got our green belt. Has honestly been so cool, such a great experience. Hell of a workout.
A
Yeah.
B
But every time I tell the kids it's a workout, they're like, no, it's not, because it's so fun for them. But me and Robert be dying. We actually are dying in Taekwondo, but I don't know, I've really loved it. Taekwondo has been pretty cool. You know, if anybody wants to fight us on the street or, you know.
A
No, we're not inciting any violence, but we will whoop your ass. So not. Taekwondo has been great. I already got close to a black belt before, but decided to start over with my family in Taekwondo so we could all elevate together. You know, a rising tide lifts all boats. So we're out there, you know, kicking pads and taking names and it's really fun. I'm enjoying it.
B
Sorry. Our two year old, Gia, she got her first belt, so she is now a yellow belt. Yes, but the rest of us are now green belts.
A
Do do it with your kids, people. Okay? Like you take them to Taekwondo and you sitting over there in the corner eating some chips. Don't do that. Get out there, kick something. Do some high knees, learn to walk, break the board, do what you got to do. Your kids will actually appreciate it more and they'll be more dedicated to it because they feel like they're doing it with you.
B
Absolutely.
A
So get out there, get active. You might not be able to catch your breath for the first couple weeks, but after that, you'll be golden.
B
And for my girl followers, watchers, subscribers, or guys, you know, if that floats your boat. I did a super cool thing. I got my ears styled. So I've never heard of it before, but my little sister Yada brought it to me. So you. It's a place called Maria Taj. They have multiple different locations in America. You go in and if you want ear piercings, they literally style your ears based off of what your face shape is, what your ear shape is, where do the piercings would look the best, all that super cool experience. So I got multiple new piercings on both sides. They like put the. Whatever the piercings look like, like, it's such a cool experience. So look it up. It's called Maria Tush if you want to go get it done. Like I said, I had never heard of it before, but now my heirs are all dressed up and honestly went to the game with Robert to Michigan State at usc, went to the spa to get a facial, and while the lady was put doing red light therapy on my face, she's like, oh, my God, your ears look beautiful. I have never gotten that compliment in my life. So go check them out. Maria Tash.
A
Was that a free promo?
B
Yes, free.
A
What are you doing? We don't do free promos. That tells you how good that was because she gave us. She just. I'm listening. I'm like, are you giving a free promo right now? But hey, you know what? It is what it is also. Yeah, going to the Coliseum. Great experience, people travel with your kids, and if you can get. If you can take them to work with you, take him to work with you. Because our kids loved it. They got to play on the field. The legendary Coliseum Field, where some of the greatest college football players have ever played. I thought that was also great. That's certainly a hometown highlight as well.
B
First and only stadium to have hosted three Olympics by 2028.
A
There you go. She's dropping facts on you. And now to finish out our hometown highlights. I want to talk to all the parents out there. How are you guys doing? Let us know in the comments how you're doing, because a lot of times people don't ask you that. And I'm going to. I'M going to take that even further. Have you guys had enough of K pop yet? Do you love K pop like we love K pop? Okay, this is the Hunters. This Hunter's Hunt tricks movie on on Netflix. Go ahead, sing it. Sing it for us. What's the song? You got this. This show is amazing.
B
Ready for the takedown.
A
She knows it. Go ahead and sing it. I don't think you're ready for the takedown. See, she's singing it with me. All right. This show's incredible. It's actually really good themes inside of the movies. It's really good themes inside the movies. The kids love it. K Pop, we can't get enough of it. Congratulations to all the artists who performed in it and the directors and the producers. We can't wait for the next one to come out. So count us in. The Griffin family as K Pop warriors with you. Phenomenal. I know every single song, or at least the melody of every single song.

And our kids are all dressing up as Rumi, Zoe and Gia. What's the third girl's name? Rumi Zoe. And who are you? Pink one? Yeah, the one with the pink hair. She's that. They're all dressing up as the girls for Halloween. They got their costume. They are so excited. But yeah, the school, I mean, everywhere. It is insanity right now what K Pop has done. But honestly, you can't lie. The movie is so good.
A
Oh, it's fire. Listen, with the no shame in our game, it's fire.
B
We have a new little segment from X AKA Twitter where we will be answering a couple of our fan questions. So the first question is. Oh, man. Out of pocket. What is the NFL going to acknowledge they have a QB development issue.
A
In closing, I'm going to give you guys a little nugget because I believe NFL evaluators will not admit that they have a problem developing quarterbacks. It is 100 a problem. And I'm going to give you my 10 reasons why. Gia, Gia, you ready for the 10 reasons? Let's do it. Number one, there's a high bus rate for first round quarterbacks. Why does this happen? It's because they're not surrounded with the proper talent. They're not surrounded with the proper teaching. They're not surrounded with the proper respect for the position. Number two, there's immediate pressure on these quarterbacks to perform right away because of guys like myself, Andrew Luck, C.J. stroud, who came out recently and had Jay Daniels had extremely successful rookie years. So now there's this anticipation that every single guy should be that way. But that simply not the truth. Number three, there's a short leash for young quarterbacks. Josh Rosen got given up in one year, Zach Wilson in two years. Guys are getting given up on in three years. Whereas you saw players from the past, the Brett Favre, the Steve Youngs, the Rich Gannons, who didn't really find a ton of success until much later into their careers, four, five, six years down the line. We're not seeing that anymore in the NFL. Number four, the constant coaching and scheme changes. Guys are going through four and five offenses in their first four to five, six years in the league. Whereas if teams would stay committed to allowing them to learn one system and can and get the reps at that one system with that one coach and create a stable environment for them to grow over four to five years, their retention, their ability, their confidence will all rise like a rising ship. Number five, college spread systems versus the NFL's perceived complexity. I think this is an issue because coaches will not budge if a guy comes into the NFL and he's an rpo, play action, pass, throw the ball down the field quarterback. They're not, they're not trying to make him, they're not trying to help him do that. They want him to be an under center, play, action pass, drop back passer. That, that's like putting a square peg into a round hole. Allow these guys to do what they do best. But some coaches just don't see it that way. Number six, poor situations for top picks we talked about already. They got really bad weapons on the outside, really bad offensive line, line. And those top picks are going to the worst teams. So that's also why it becomes a struggle. Number seven, failure to develop mid round quarterbacks. When you get these guys into the mid rounds of the draft, they're going to better teams but they're also given getting given up on faster because they were mid round quarterbacks. The teams don't really have a commitment to them that they're paying them 20, 30, $40 million because they were a first round pick. So they're giving up on them as well. Number eight, there's a decline in veteran mentorship. You're seeing less and less like really tenured, experienced, good quarterbacks as backups because of the threat to the potential starter.
B
Yeah.
A
So that's hurting the young quarterbacks as well. Number nine, it's an over emphasis on traits over training. You're looking for the guy who's 6, 5, can throw the leather, leather off of a football and runs a 4, 3. Instead of saying, okay, how well do these guys process defenses? How well, how much good of a leader are they? What does their tape look like? It's not just about the traits. It is about how you plan to train them and help them get better and make their strengths bigger strengths and their weaknesses, their strengths through the process. And last but certainly not least, I think NFL leaders just won't admit it. They do not know how to develop them. They do not know how to coach them. And this is why I believe more college coaches should come to the NFL with their top level quarterbacks. Those are the guys that got them to play at the highest level. You got to trust that they know what they're doing and show them how to do it in the NFL instead of telling them, you can't do that here. Well, guess what? Because you're saying they can't do it there, a lot of their quarterbacks can't do it either. So NFL teams, NFL execs, let's be better. Let's develop these young men and teach them, make it a growth environment for them and stop giving up on them.
B
This is a question from Bobo. Will the NFL and the refs actually call the Eagles games fairly? Saints run, push, push and flag for false start. Eagles run it three times today and no flag for false start, even though there was a false start all three times. So call it same for everyone or are you. Are the Eagles just gonna keep getting away with it?
A
Oh, my gosh, guys, we gotta stop complaining like the Eagles in the Tush Push. Are the guys jumping off sides? Yes. Do guys jump off sides outside of the Tush push on every single team before the snap of a football? In a passing situation? Yes. Do they throw a flag on it every single time? No, they don't. So stop complaining about the tushbush. The Eagles are really good at it, okay? Michael Jordan was really good at the fadeaway. They didn't ban the fadeaway. Steph Curry is really good at shooting threes. They not banish shooting threes, okay? Grante is really great at making pancakes. They're not banning her making pancakes. All right, Stop complaining about the tushbush. Stop them if you don't want them to do the Tushbush. Don't let them get the third and one. Don't let them get in the fourth and one. Be better in the earlier downs so they don't have the opportunity to do the tush push. They're not doing the touch push on every single play. They're not going first and 10, touch, push. Second and 10, touch, push. Third and 10, touch, push, fourth and 10th. They're not doing that. So stop them from doing if. If you want to stop Dirk Nowitzki's knee up, fade away jumper. Stop it. Don't say they should ban it, because I can't stop it. He's too good. He is too good at that. You know what? Maybe they should ban field goal blocks because there were way too many this weekend and players are getting too good at blocking field goals. So we're just gonna stop it. Here's a rule now, you can't block field goal. No, no, that's not. Block the guys so your kicker can make the kick. Stop them on the tush. Push. Stop complaining about it. So sick and tired of that man.
B
This question is from Dig McLeod. Talk about the gospel.
A
Oh, talk about the gospel. Okay, listen, first of all, we gotta say, without God, we would have nothing. God's grace and mercy. None of us are perfect. We're imperfect people serving a perfect God. And I'm thankful for the family that I have. I'm thankful to be able to do this show with my lovely wife. She. She's beautiful on the outside, but she's even more beautiful on the inside. I'm thankful for being a girl dad of four and having this two year old here who's playing with my Dragon Ball Z action figures. I don't take any of that stuff for granted. And it's because I know where my faith resides. And I know that no matter what I've been through in life, no matter what she's been through in life, no matter what we've been through in life, God always has our back. There's a silver lining to why you're going through what you're going through. So if you're listening to this, this, and you're having a tough day, a tough week, a tough month, a tough year, a tough couple of years, understand that there's a light at the end of the tunnel. And the people who find success are the ones that don't give up. God has instilled that in me. My family has instilled that in me. I want you to be instilled with that so that you never give up on your dreams. As far as we know, we only get one life, right? So I'm going to live my life honoring God. It doesn't mean that we are all perfect and we don't make mistakes. But what it does mean is that we have a higher purpose. It's not to advance my kingdom. Not to advance her kingdom, it's to advance his kingdom. And I'm thankful to be able to do that with you. What do you got?
B
That's beautiful, baby. I mean, same.
A
I am.
B
I am so thankful for the life that we live and marrying my soulmate, love of my life, having beautiful kids and just. It's. The world can be such a dark, tough place sometimes, no matter how good you have it. You know, you have a world in the brink of a World War 3. You have the world so divided, people so divided, America so divided that it's. It's tough sometimes to see the light at the end of the tunnel. But I guess if you keep. If you keep the main thing, the main thing, like Robert said, your family, what matters to you the most. Every day can be the best day of your life. You know, you don't have to keep chasing happiness because for. For us, for me at least happiness is sitting right next to me every, every day. So like I said, the world. The world can be so dark and so tough, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel and, you know, let's keep going.

The tone is lively, candid, and sometimes irreverent. RG3 and Grete riff off one another, blend sports analysis with jokes and personal stories, and aren’t afraid of hot takes or heart. They keep the show high-energy but grounded, accessible to casual fans and real sports junkies alike.
This episode was a spirited critique of perennially hyped NFL teams, a celebration of gritty college football upsets, and an unfiltered peek into the Griffin family's world—both on and off the field. RG3’s deep dive on NFL quarterback development is a must-listen for serious football fans. Family and faith are constant throughlines, providing an uplifting counterweight to the show’s sharper sports criticisms.
