When I give people information about their loved ones that I simply could not know and they say how could you know that? And their hand goes over their mouth, I'm thinking, how could I know that? And what it's really about is opening up that pathway with spirit. Mediumship is speaking to the people who have crossed over because love does not end. They want to be near us as much as we want them near us. And love is a survival. Love survives all, everything, and it's universal. I've never met one person on the planet that hasn't at least felt love once. Everyone has this ability to connect with love and mediumship.

Welcome to Passion Struck. I'm your host, John Miles. This is the show where we explore the art of human flourishing and what it truly means to live like it matters. Each week I sit down with change makers, creators, scientists, and everyday heroes to decode the human experience and uncover the tools that help us lead with meaning, heal what hurts, and pursue the fullest expression of who we're capable of becoming. Whether you're designing your future, developing as a leader, or seeking deeper alignment in your life, this show is your invitation to grow with purpose and act with intention. Because the secret to a life of deep purpose, connection, and impact is choosing to live like you matter. Welcome back to Passion Struck. I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving break. Today is episode 697 and we begin our new December series, the Season of Becoming. But before we step into it, I want to honor the series we just completed last week, the Irreplaceables, which came to a close with three deeply human conversations. Last Tuesday, Jane Chen opened her heart about her memoir and she talked about how her story of identity was breaking apart like the waves that she learned to ride, and then how she discovered the process of reclaiming herself piece by piece. On Thursday, I was joined by Don Martin, who took us inside the crisis of loneliness. And then on Friday James Kimmel Jr explored revenge as a neural craven. Together, those episodes create a perfect bridge from what fractures us to what remakes us. And that's exactly why today marks the opening chapter of our new Season of Becoming series. I always find that December is a psychologically powerful month. People spend December in reflection as we prepare for January reinvention. I came up with the name the Season of Becoming because I think it bridges that space. It asks, before we decide who we want to be, what do we need to release, reinterpret, or reclaim? If you're new to the show, welcome. And if you've been with us for years, thank you for being part of.
