Yeah, he's, he's cratered 60 million. So they're paying him 60 million in salary. And then that salary has put the Dodgers over the competitive balance tax threshold to where they're paying another nearly 60 in luxury tax on him. Almost a dollar for dollar luxury tax.

And you can't defer the luxury tax. They can.

But his departure I put in the same category as the Bregmans and the Correas. Same ethos and the Springers and the Kohl's and the Verlanders and everybody else. He left. He was traded because they didn't want to pay him.

And I don't know if nobody was offering him that. But Kyle Tucker is such an anti alpha to me.

I don't, I don't think so. Kyle Tucker does internalize a lot, but it's kind of like it almost comes across as pouty. So, so, so I know, I don't think you're being unfair, but what stands out to me, first of all, I think this topic is funny because you and I didn't even consult on this, but after Isak Peredus home run last night, I literally wrote this down. This is before you and I talked about the show. Isak is the best player in the Kyle Tucker trade right now.

This is before I even knew we were doing this topic. So we great minds were thinking alike. I like to think right here. And so to me, kind of to your point, a similar thing has happened with Alex Bregman in Chicago, where Kyle Tucker was traded to last year, where there's a little bit of a spotlight, obviously the Cubs historic franchise, historic brand, Wrigley Field, all of that. And so if you're the hot ticket item and you're not living up to the expectation in Chicago, they spend money too, but they're not doing what the Dodgers are doing. There is a very keen focus on your failures and shortcomings as opposed to going to the Dodgers and just being one of no less than six or seven guys who are all star level guys. You get to sort of camouflage a little bit, fade into the background, if you will. And you can't do that in Chicago, wouldn't have been able to do that here, where I think the expectation had been set by their previous success as a team over the last decade. What if he.

What if, what if there were a team, I don't know that there'd be a team like a mid market team out there that would give, would have given him 60 million a year because of what that does, what that annual salary does to the competitive balance tax. But what if there were some, like Milwaukee, for example, you know, like a good team that's middle tier, they're like below the Astros on the salary rung, but they've spent money before on things. What if Milwaukee were a team that said, you know what, this guy's in his late 20s, he plays a position that age as well. He does everything, you know, he's, he's won a Gold glove, he's hit 30 home runs, he's a good base runner, he's stolen bases. Kyle Tucker, 10 years, $400 million.

If he were doing this, what he's doing this year on a team like that where it's their big splurge, but they did it because he felt as safe as it could possibly be. Doesn't. The only time he's ever missed games is when he fouled a ball off his shin. Like he doesn't miss with a bunch of soft tissue stuff. This thing would be one of the big. That would be one of the bigger stories around baseball. But because he's on the team with the best record in baseball, I think probably the only two cities that even care or have an opinion. Probably three cities here, Chicago, where he left last after the season and Los Angeles where he's actually playing. Right.

Maybe Boston. But. But there. That's a big.

Yeah, I'm saying have an opinion on Kyle Tucker. Yeah, yeah.

Goes and signs a deal with the Colorado Rockies for seven years. Less money than I think that Kyle Tucker would have gotten. But it was a seven year deal.
