To the Yankees players. When you and I are sitting there watching this, couple things. First game, you should have won. Soto made a couple mistakes, no problem. Soto has helped us get here. He can. He's allowed to make a couple mistakes here and there. Without Soto, we're not in the World Series. So a lot of people can go out there, not forget all the good stuff that he's done. Well, maybe, but this guy Biden who, you know, woke up, took an Adderall, got his head together, had a coffee and then goes to the microphone and starts talking this way, is flooding America with illegals and knowingly, knowingly not giving them work. NASA Administrator Bill Nelson responded to a Wall Street Journal report alleging Elon Musk has been in regular contact with Russia's Putin. President Putin saying, I don't know what that story, if that story is true, I think it should be investigated, particularly given Musk's government contracts and top secret security clearance. The Journal report claims Musk and Putin have discussed issues related to international politics, personal issues and business, with Musk reportedly considering a request from Putin to restrict Starlink access over Taiwan. SpaceX denied these claims, stating Starlink is not available in Taiwan because Taiwan has not given us a license to operate unrelated to Russia or China. Musk dismissed a report on X with humor, reposting a comment that read the swamps Trump is Hitler didn't work. Might as well give Elon is a Russian agent a whirl, adding two laughing emojis. Right. Tom, is this, do you think this is a part of. Because when NASA sees all the rockets that this guy's, you know, sending out and then they're coming back and landing and he's doing it at a twentieth of a cost that they're doing it, do you think these, this is just a shot at going after him because he's humiliating NASA?

Oh, absolutely. The first and foremost is he's embarrassing them on a weekly basis. He's embarrassing them on the dollars that are being spent by American taxpayers on NASA. He's embarrassing them because, you know, Boeing, remember, Boeing's a giant defense contractor, so you might as well just call them like a giant government organization. They're, they're practically, they're so bureaucratic. They're practically a, you know, a department of the government. Boeing is, and Boeing had its own problem. And they're, they're two guys are still stuck in space even though Elon Musk says, hey, I got a couple. You need a ride? Trying to get home, man, we'll give you a ride home. Hop in the back. And they're like, no, no, no, no, no. We've got other things for them to do. We'll leave them in space. That's embarrassing. That's embarrassing when your chief competitor is, offers to bail you out of a jam. And so NASA is, is concerned about anything that could embarrass them. And what better way than to try to throw mud is to have a careful comment. Well, I don't know if that's true. That's the safe harbor, but I think it should be investigated. There's the accusation. It's embarrassing and so they're speaking up like this.

Exactly. We ran the numbers on this, like how much it costs to launch a rocket, bring a rocket back. It was, I mean you're saving tens of millions, billions of dollars of government waste and oversight. And do you have these numbers right here?

NASA dropping pollution into the ocean from rocket boosters and Elon Musk grabs him with the metal claw, brings him back home.

Exactly. When you have, when you have politicians, Congress in America with no accountability, no one fact checking these numbers, nobody basically saying, hey, where did, where did all this money go? Whereas if you're responsible for answering to your shareholders, to your board of directors, to everyone, that basically saying, hey, show me the numbers on this stakeholders, you're actually going to have to show the numbers. And it's actually to make it worth. This is further proof that entrepreneurship is a way better option to go and versus government galutin spending. So it's par for the course.

By the way. Rob, if you can pull out what I just sent you. So this isn't just NASA, this is also Boeing. Keep in mind Boeing, if you, if you go look up Boeing stock for the year, okay. At the beginning of the year, Boeing stock was at. Zoom in a little bit, Rob, if you can. And go to year to date, go to year to date. Year to date. Beginning of the year the stock was at 250. Can you go right, there you go, 251. The stock is down a hundred. That's 40%. Okay. Is where they're at. They've gone from being. If it's a 90, how much? What's the market cap right now, Rob, if 93 billion dollar company right there they were 150 billion dollar company 10 months ago. So they've lost $50 billion, give or take. Okay. It's up for 50 billion. They're $140 billion company. They've lost money, whatever the number would be 40%, they've lost 30 plus billion dollars. Right. @ the same time, Boeing needs money right now to be bailed out. So watch this story that just came out a couple hours ago. Rob, if you can type in that story right there that literally just came out three hours ago. Boeing to raise up to $24.3 billion to shore up finances to prevent this is due to the downgrade that happened. S P warned of a rating downgrade of Boeing cash balance fell below $10 billion target or if the company had to increase leverage to meet debt maturities. Go a little low Rob to read the story. Okay, so Boeing launched a stock offering 24.0 makers to strengthen his finance squeeze six week strike by workers and preserve its investment grade credit rating 33000 people right now apparently are on a strike with Boeing. The company said late Monday was offering 112 million shares in common stock stock up from 90 million earlier in the day. So think about, you know how you ever seen that movie Horrible Bosses?

You ever seen Horrible Bosses with Jamie Foxx? You know, that part was like, hey, what's his name? Says real. What's the guy's name? The killer. He says, so listen, we need your help. We're trying to, you know, we have some horrible bosses. We need somebody to help us take us, take them out. Because they're like guys, we need $90 million. All right, listen, we need 120 million shares and not 90 million. And I was like $5 billion mandatory. The offering is certainly favorable for credit quality will factored into our assessment of the rating in the context of continued negative free cash flow.

This is ridiculous what Boeing is going through. So you got NASA that's being embarrassed by this guy name Elon. You got Boeing that's literally can't survive with the stuff that they have going on that they got to come beg you to say we need money from you guys and we need 24 billion of it, because we're about to get another downgrade credit rating. Tom, what do you think is going to happen here? You think they're going to get the money? You think they're going to be able to remember, get past this phase?

Boeing sells three things. Commercial airplanes like you and I ride on bombs, missiles and defense airplanes like Air Force and everybody else, Navy, and then tons of spare parts for them. That's all. They sell three things. People, planes, warplanes, parts. That's what they do. And they own all these defense contractors. So Boeing's stock to go up, People, planes. They had a strike and the 737 Max was crashing and they had all that. Yeah. And warplanes. If only they would support a candidate that would start foreign wars. So the US Taxpayer could buy a lot of bombs and stuff from them and then drop those bombs somewhere and then call Boeing back and get some more bombs that would save Boeing. If only they would support a candidate that would be in favor, favor of causing trouble and terrassing around the world.

So think about what just happened right there. So hurricanes, stock goes up for Lowe's and Home Depot because you need to go buy billions of dollars, especially if it's that damaging. That's been lately. You got tornadoes, you got earthquakes, you got all this stuff that. All those fires in California, all those fires in California. Home Depot's like, hey. So you're like, man, these guys. Stock goes up when these types of things happen. If all of a sudden you look at when Trump was president, it was dry for war. That's not a good business model for them. So these guys need somebody that's going to go and create some havoc for them to make money. And then they're talking about, we don't want any war. We want this thing to be at peace. We want to do that. They're like, guys, we can't do that. We need money right now. We need you to buy some stuff from us right now. So it's a very strange business model. The same as hospitals. Hospitals need sick people to make money. Empty beds don't make money for hotels, and empty beds don't make money for hospitals. And a peaceful society and a peaceful world doesn't make money for companies that sell weapons and planes and jets and stuff that you need to buy from them.

And take a good look at the board of directors in health care. It's a bunch of people that used to work in government. Retired senators. Look who's on the board of directors at Boeing. Retired senators, retired generals, retired people from the war side.

I don't know, maybe five years. I don't know what it was, but he came in on this surge of growth. Is this him? No, he's the new CEO. I'm saying the guy that, that he was there before that because basically they're, they couldn't keep the CEO. I don't know if you can find that out, but there's something weird going on with Boeing. But Pat, speaking of the horrible bosses, basically what they're doing right now is, hey, can we get $20 billion in capital? No, we can't do it. All right, we'll just take a bag of peanuts and just see if we can keep this plane off the ground. But they're a mess right now and they're basically fighting to stay afloat.

That just left WaPo and quit. Okay. Americans don't trust the news media, wrote Jeff Bezos and Hanapa. Title the hard truth. Americans don't trust the news media. The Washington Post decision to end presidential endorsements. A principal decision and it's the right one. Presidential endorsement do not do nothing to tip the scales of an election. What they actually do is create a perception of bias, a perception of non independence. Bezos noted that the decision was made entirely internally, asserting I would also like to be clear that no quid pro quo of any kind is at work here despite the timing of Cos Dave Limp's meeting with Trump. He explained. I sighed when I found out because I knew it would provide ammunition to those who would like to frame this has anything other than a principal decision. 200,000 people unsubscribed from WaPo following the decision to endorse Tom.

So I read this today, got here early and actually Rob and I read it together and the whole thing and I thought it was well written and I thought it was really accurate. And he basically pointed out that the time for newspapers to have the influence on citizens in elections is gone. That the local citizenry is not waiting to get guidance from their newspaper and a rationale for it, number one. Number two, he said, hey man, nobody trusts the news media. And then he said, listen, this is our moment. This is what we have to do. We have to basically reform ourselves and grow from this point in time in history, not just this presidential election. From this time right now, 20, 24 people don't trust news so what do we got to do about it? We have to accept the challenge and move from here. And endorsing one or the other candidates doesn't matter to the voters. It absolutely, statistically doesn't matter. And so he laid it out, and so I read it and I thought, good for you, Jeff. He's sitting there stating the facts and refusing to be bullied by people that are stuck in the past, even if those people happen to be some of his own employees. He's like, hey, dude, you can threaten me and you can quit. Okay? Do it. I own the paper. I have to make the shot. I have to call the shot. I can live with the shot. I can die with the shot. It doesn't matter. One or the other is going to happen to me. But guess what? I'm making the shot. And I'm the owner. And if you want to leave, you got to leave.

We're not even playing this game this time. And they typically would go in favor of Kamala, and they're not tipping in her favor whatsoever.

What was the tweet, Rob? Where he's kind of like. Like in Kamala. And then it's like. It's like the flip flop, flounder situation. I don't understand, Tom. I don't understand how, you know, you go from, you know, CNN saying, you know, in a world of terror and this and this, the biggest threat is the American person who's not vaccinated. Like, how do you go from that to anti Trump to Russia collusion to now you're seeing the light. But then when we see, we think that the light is there, then you go back to, you know, Kamala is this. And Kamala's praising this. It's kind of. It's confusing. But this type of message I do respect because he's finally understanding why people like us love a guy that's willing to fight evil with fire.

Well, I think what he said here was correct commentary. I think Chris is saying what he's observing. And I happen to agree with his observation. I think his observation is correct. At the same time, he can take a breath and then come back and say that he is more in favor of the policies coming from the left side. So I think both can be true. But I think this was a very objective. Because he's right. Do we care if we're sending a savage into the jungle? No. That's what we want. And Trump has said, and I'm going to take Elon with me because I need someone who knows how to work in jungles. And the jungle has been trying to kill Elon. And so Elon's going to come in there and he's going to chop things off the jungle, too. So I kind of see it that way. And then there's other things that Cuomo has tweeted over the weekend that I disagreed with in terms of positions, but I thought he was being objective here.

I actually think it's a great take by Cuomo because he's basically saying, you have to understand why the people are voting for Trump. And a lot of people didn't fully recognize what Trump stood for in 2016 and again in 2024 is that they like the fact that he is a chaos candidate. They like the fact that he's a change agent. They like the fact that he's a disruptor. They like the fact that he's a middle finger to the system, because they're basically saying the system has screwed us over. And you know what? Bill Maher always says this. You can hate Trump, but you can't hate the 80 plus million Americans that vote for the guy. So that's what Trump represents. You can't judge everyone that votes for Trump based on Trump's personality. They know that he's Sort of an honest liar. But you know who's a bigger liar? The Democrats. And I'll tell you why if you give me a sec. Because Trump lies about little things. Oh, my hand size. The size of my crowd. But he's actually honest about. Yeah, I don't pay taxes, you know, because all your donors do the exact same thing. When the Democrats lie, they lie about big things. Like, you need to get vaccinated to save everyone. Oh, okay. I guess that planet. Yeah. Or that Trump is Hitler. Or, you know, the big lie that they've told is, you know, a man can be a woman. So, yeah, the lies are a little bit different. Yes, Trump does lie, but he's also an honest liar, and that's what's weird about Trump.

It's kind of hard to, you know, as a unmarried man, look at this situation and not get upset because, you know, as someone you're looking at the future, you're like, all right, who do I want to be? Who do I want to be? Like, I'm not going to lie. I would look at Tom Brady. Absolute stud of a man, multi, multi, multi millionaire, married, kids, great guy, super bowl winner, married to a supermodel wife, dream life, marriage, kids. And you look at this amazing life and you're like, if these guys can't do it, this sort of picture perfect, esque, beautiful marriage, kids, family, man, what hope do the rest of us have out here? So how in the world does a woman like this leave Tom Brady? And it's. It's sort of indicative of where we're at these days. She wanted Tom Brady to give up his career, his passion, basically his pursuit of excellence, to be more of a family man. Okay, I get it. I understand that you need to be present for your woman. I also see, in a little, tiny, tiny way, every now and then, kids that have said things to my daughters because they know I'm on this podcast and they know I'm associated with Pat. Some positive, some kind of neutral, but I see all that. And there's two names in the story that pops out at me. Benjamin, 14. That's eighth. Ninth grade. Vivian, 11. That's seventh. Eighth grade. And I look at them, and their parents got divorced. It's very public. Probably everywhere they go, they get a question. They probably have to, like, live in kind of a bubble with just a few people because it's tough just to walk across school says, your mom's pregnant, man, I can't believe that. I, I, when do you see her? She's with her boyfriend. I, I see her sometimes. Just leave me alone. And I look at that, and it kind of pisses me off. Tom Brady and Giselle have the right to do whatever they want, but it kind of inside, I look at it, and I feel bad for these two teenage kids that are trying to grow up with the lights that are going around, and if they had a tough marriage and Giselle wants to get married to somebody else, that's her. That's her right. She could do whatever she want, free to do it. And I'm not going to tell her to live up to my morality or anything, but it just. There's two teenage kids in here, and I see how difficult it is to raise kids. And I look at that, and it just makes me kind of sad for those two kids. That's what I think. I personally don't care what she or Tom choose, but when I read these things in the, in the, in the public, yeah, it's hard to read no.

When you have to sit there and see an ex saying, I'm pregnant with such and such. At 44. Geez. You know, at 44, by the way, when typically, this is like, what happens when you grapple with someone in Jiu Jitsu.

Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. There's a guy named Chuck Colson, who was a Watergate pastor guy and he wrote a book called Born Again about finding Jesus Christ. But he also talked about the horrors that are in there and when they, when the child molesters check in, they don't check out. That's just, that's just the way it is. But this was the accuser claim he was sexually assaulted in 2008 while auditioning for making the band. Hold on. Claiming he was 10 years old. Interested in becoming an actor and a rapper. This is Tom. In an attempt to help their son's career, the boy's parents hired an industry consultant who recommended to fly their son to their home in Los Angeles to New York to meet with the film industry figures. During that trip, the consultant arranged for Combs to meet with the boy for an audition. And he asked him to meet with him by himself without seeing the family. So the consultant took the boy to Combs hotel room. No parents left them alone. And the boy performed a couple of rap songs. And he said he can make him a star. He gave him a soda and then he said he felt a little bit funny. And then the rest is. Is just not good. I don't want to talk about it. But dude, and again, you talked about this Tom before too. Parents, the fame, we want it. The kid, money. Go to la. Go have a consultant, a handler take him and bring him into a hotel room and leave him in there with Diddy. With any man. I don't give a damn who it is.
