We've lost the veterans from the "Greatest Generation" in Congress who have served as guides into the late 20th century. Isn't it time we replaced them with veterans from the current generation. Should veterans run for political office at the local, county, state, and federal levels? Will they bring what is really needed to our political establishments: Leadership? Do the current crop of politicians really represent their constituents or are they worried about their next election and their moneyed donors with their siloed mentality?
