In the year 1492 Christopher Columbus sailed to the Bahamas in search of China, on the Santa Maria. Columbus sent two Spaniards, Rodrigo de Jerez and Lois de Torres, who spoke Chadic and Arabic, to walk through Indian villages in search of the Emperor of China. Neither men spoke Chinese or any local native languages. In fact, Columbus and none of his crew had ever been to China or Asia.

Aura perception is an energy field that can be visually perceived in living things, such as plants and animals. Kirlian aural photography captures an ‘egg-shaped’ circle of energy around and beyond the physical body. This energy emanates from the ‘chakras’. the major ‘chakras’ are located on the endocrine glands in the body. The aura is an energy field that surrounds the body like a subtle cloud or layers of coloured halos. read more at Welcome Perception of Aura's - Peter Zapfella

Researchers have had their “Eureka!” moment, because they have discovered a link to how we ‘find it!’ inside our own minds. Our deep unconscious “eye accessing cues” indicate where our unconscious is accessing ‘remembered’ or ‘constructed’ information. The notion that eye movements might be related to internal representations was first suggested by American psychologist William James in his book Principles of Psychology (1890).

Fear is a normal emotion within us all. It is related to the survival instinct. It alerts us to a threat, and prepares us for action – either ‘fight or flight’. Life Free From Phobias – YouTube Video When a fear is said to be ‘irrational’ or illogical, absurd, nonsensical, or ridiculous – we call it a ‘phobia’. There are three types of phobias; agoraphobia (such as large, open spaces where there are few ‘places to hide’), social phobia (such as fear of other people, performance anxiety etc), and specific phobias (such as spiders, snakes, dogs, water, insects, flying, heights, confined spaces etc). Somewhere between 10 – 20 percent of people suffer from at least one significant phobia. It is the most common mental disorder among women and the second most common in men worldwide. The feeling of fear may be accompanied by heart palpitations, ‘cold sweats’, clammy hands, ‘butterfly stomach’ sensations, dizziness, and an overwhelming need to ‘run away’ and ‘escape’. This is often, but not always accompanied by feelings of intense ‘worry’ or ‘anxiety’. When confronted with the feared situation, the sufferer may even have a ‘panic attack’, the spontaneous onset of intense fear that makes them feel as if they might stop breathing and pass out, or even have a heart attack and die. Abusers feel powerless, so they search for a victim they can exert power over. The abuse could be emotional (manipulation and verbal), financial (economic), physical, sexual or all four. They usually isolate their victim from family and friends. An abuser will act the part of ‘Mister nice guy’ until he or she is confident their victim cannot leave them. The abuser could be a parent, a partner or even an employer. Placating an abuser to reduce tension rarely works; the abuse almost always continues.

Do you lack close friendships, because no one else is ‘good enough’? Do you think everyone is focused on you, and your opinions? Can you ‘turn on the charm’ when it suits you, then stab your friends in the back just as quickly and easily? Do you turn up at appointments and engagements late because you really do not care if you inconvenience other people? Are you always right because you are infallible, and do not make mistakes? Other people make mistakes, but not you? Do you get ‘hot under the collar’, even enraged if other people question you and your views? Weight control is really about a balanced lifestyle in mind and body, rather than forced discipline. ‘Welcome subliminal affirmations’ can make it easier for you to have control, without the struggle. There is a complexity of reasons why an individual may have a weight problem. Simply put – there is no easy answer. For example; The latest research published in the Journal of Sleep Research reported in Finland where they studied 10,000 children aged between 9 and 12 found those children who stayed up an extra 2 hours on the weekend, longer than the usual times they went to bed during the week, had a waist circumference 2.4 CM more than children who had a consistent bedtime. Is this extra weight caused by inconsistent bedtime? Or, is it a reflection of parenting styles? This raises the question; how does that translate into adulthood weight for those children? How do adults respond to inconsistent sleep patterns, such as shift workers? Do the lessons adults learn as children translate into poor personal discipline which reflects on their ability to impulse control, and control their weight? At its most simple level weight control is about getting the balance right between calories ‘in’ and calories ‘out’, However the real question is how and why it may be out of balance in an individual? What to do about it. It could be ‘bad’ lifestyle issues and ‘bad’ habits? Some common issues that impact weight control include anxiety, depression, and past traumas. These issues can all be effectively treated by Peter Zapfella either face-to-face therapy, one-on-one using Skype Therapy dot Live or MP3s from the safety and privacy of your own home. https://www.peterzapfella.com/product-category/weight-control/

Ridicule is mockery, derision and taunting. It can be done in a teasing ‘fun’ way, Or with cruelty and hate, in which case the sufferer wants to escape it and live a life free from ridicule. Ridicule can also be done in a friendly, teasing ‘fun’ way, However, there is a ‘line in the sand’ which must not be crossed. That line is different for different people. The word ridicule comes from the Latin, ridere (meaning to laugh) and ridiculus (meaning laughable). The Cambridge Dictionary defines it as “foolish or unreasonable and deserving to be laughed at”. https://www.peterzapfella.com/product/life-free-from-ridicule/
