In today’s solo episode, I’m sharing a personal Q1 2026 update—some of the unexpected challenges this quarter brought, what they taught me, and how they sharpened my perspective on health, family, business, and what freedom actually means. From a broken rib and a C6-C7 disc herniation to stepping away from direct primary care, this quarter reminded me in a very real way that life can change fast. But it also reminded me why I care so much about financial freedom and lifestyle design in the first place: not just for income, but for flexibility, presence, and resilience when life gets hard.

I also share some exciting updates from The RAL Room Assisted Living Mastermind, our Tomball luxury memory care development, our Republic, Missouri senior living project, and the renewed push to finally finish my residential assisted living book. On the personal side, I talk about family, camping season, and one of the moments I’m most grateful for this year—my brother and I gifting our dad a 10-day retirement trip to Iceland.
