His psychology background drew him to DID storylines on both shows, and after COVID gave him time to dig in, he started watching GH from 2002 while simultaneously binge-listening to Pier 54. Shannon and Amanda's deep dives kept sending him further back, from 2002 all the way to 1992, where he's now watching Karen and Jagger for the first time. They talk favorite couples, the Stone storyline he's dreading and can't wait for, Heather Webber and what she's going to mean to someone with a psych background, and why soaps handle big social issues in a way no other format really can.
