Dave Rubin
Dave Rubin is the dumbest man in right wing media.
Piers Morgan
What's the main metric that he made better off?
Hunter Dunn
What?
Piers Morgan
What's the main metric that he made better off? Gdp, Unemployment? Inflation? Do you have any idea?
Dave Rubin
It's not news that Dave Rubin is one of the dumbest people immediate.
Hunter Dunn
We did lose 13 of our soldiers and that is and killed over 200 children. But well, things happen in war and
Will Chamberlain
I like Dave a lot but I think I'm probably a little better than Dave. I mean he's just a good dude.
Mason
What does he contribute to the right wing space?
Dave Rubin
Do you still believe America controls the space before moves?
Will Chamberlain
I think that control is contested. I think that's the best way to frame it. They can't get their ships out. We can't get our mom. Well guy, this is why your guys position is so obviously facile. And you know why? 25 year olds in Los Angeles shouldn't be setting foreign policy for the United States of America.
Piers Morgan
When you beat up a kid's dad in the back of a parking lot, you should apologize to that kid. So thank you for giving me the opportunity to apologize to Dave Rubin's son.
Dave Rubin
The Jubilee format is always an entertaining joust of ideas with a barrage of big viral moments. That's why I went on it myself last year. But a recent episode featuring Dave Rubin has generated one of the biggest reactions ever. The formerly left wing podcaster was challenged on his new Maga credentials by 20 young Democrats who took particular issue with his faltering defense of the Iran war.
Hunter Dunn
We're now in an economic embargo of them, right? We've basically done a blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. So to say it's a disastrous.
Evan Martinez
We've done a blockade.
Hunter Dunn
We did lose. Hang on, hang on. We did lose 13 of our soldiers, and that is.
Evan Martinez
And killed over 200 children.
Hunter Dunn
But, well, things happen in war, right?
Will Chamberlain
Things.
Piers Morgan
If someone is born here, they are an American. If someone believes in the ideals of America, they're an American.
Dave Rubin
No, wait, wait, wait. That's.
Piers Morgan
But that's just not.
Hunter Dunn
Meanwhile, someone believes in the ideals of America, they're Americans. So someone in Canada believes in the ideals of America, they're American.
Piers Morgan
To quote the great conservative what is one main metric that Donald Trump has made better off since he got in office? An example would be GDP, unemployment, inflation, etc.
Hunter Dunn
Right now. Even the tariffs. All right, so let's do tariffs. Are you for or against tariffs?
Piers Morgan
I'm against the universal tariffs. So what's the main metric that he made better off?
Hunter Dunn
What?
Piers Morgan
What's the main metric that he made better off? Gdp, unemployment, inflation. Do you have any idea?
Dave Rubin
Listen well. Reviews of the episode of Not Being Kind, conservative pundit Dave Rubin branded a complete imbecile. Report of the UK's independent newspaper Maga host mocked after failing to name any of Trump's achievements, said the Daily Beast commentator Mehdi Hassan declared, it's official, Dave Rubin is the dumbest man in right wing media. Glenn Greenwald, meanwhile, said it's not news that Dave Rubin is is one of the dumbest people in media. Theme developing there. Well, given that this doesn't seem to be a fair fight, we decided to invite some of the breakout stars of what's been called the ruin of Rubin. This time they'll face a battle hardened, uncensored contributor who often defends the indefensible and thinks he can do better. Joining me now is Will Chamberlain, Senior Counsel, Article 3 Project, and he'll be up against Jubilee contributors Mason, Evan Martinez and Hunter Dunn. Well, welcome to all of you. First of all, congratulations to the free members of the Jubilee panel. You did an awful lot better against Mr. Rubin than you fared against myself. So congratulations.
Mason
Okay, Pierce, right, right.
Dave Rubin
Congratulations on improving your game. But yeah, the clips have gone viral. They are highly entertaining. You certainly skewered Mr. Rubin before we get to you guys. I mean, Will Chamberlain, you, you obviously saw it too and seen the clips. Why do you think you can fare better against these guys?
Will Chamberlain
Oh, I mean well, I'm pretty good at this thing. I don't know. I just, I leave it to. I think I'm probably better than David this. And I like Dave a lot, but I think I'm probably a little better than David this.
Mason
Okay, well, let's put what you like about Dave Will. I'm actually so curious, like, what does he contribute to the right wing space?
Will Chamberlain
I mean, he's just a good dude. Like, we can just start there. Like, you know what?
Dave Rubin
He's not, he's not, he's not really, because I, I. When I went to do Megyn Kelly's show in Miami and did Patrick Ben David's podcast and went to his place in Fort Lauderdale, Dave Rubin asked me to go on his podcast, which involved going the wrong way out of Miami for an hour and then crisscrossing back to Patrick. And I said, you know what? I'll do it as a favor to a guy that's been on my show a lot. So I went and did all that and literally about three months later, he's dumping all over me in public. And I was like, wow, you really are a duplicitous little shit and you live alone.
Will Chamberlain
I can always keep my own interaction.
Dave Rubin
The idea that Dave Rubin is a good guy, I'm afraid he's not borne out by my experience. I thought he was.
Piers Morgan
Hold on, hold on. I want to vouch for what will stand here. Yeah, I want to vouch for what will saying here. I think Dave Rubin has done some real good in the world. Him going on that debate did a lot for my personal political project and for the political project of the left as a whole. So I would personally want Dave to continue making public appearances.
Will Chamberlain
Hopefully you guys don't like me at the end of this very much then.
Dave Rubin
Okay, look, let's get, let's get into. I think we've heard enough about Dave Rubin anyway. He does. He died a terrible death and it's all gone viral. So let's see how Will gets on. The first thing is about the Iran war. Rubin tried to support his central claim that wokeism did more damage to America than Trump ever did. And he did this by justifying the Trump's war in Iran. Let's take a listen.
Hunter Dunn
You're talking about a 40 day military operation that stopped an apocalyptic regime from getting a nuclear bomb and exporting terrorism throughout the world. That we're in a, we're now in a. We're now in an economic embargo of them. Right? We've basically done a Blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. So to say it's a disaster.
Evan Martinez
We've done a blockade. We did lose.
Hunter Dunn
Hang on, hang on. We did. We did lose 13. We did lose 13 of our soldiers, and that is.
Evan Martinez
And killed over 200 children.
Hunter Dunn
But, well, things happen in war, right?
Piers Morgan
Things.
Will Chamberlain
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Hunter Dunn
Well, things do happen in war. You can laugh at that.
Piers Morgan
Hold on, hold on.
Hunter Dunn
Listen, you.
Will Chamberlain
Wait. No.
Evan Martinez
If Donald Trump wanted to prevent the Islamic Republic of Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, he could have just stuck with the Iran nuclear deal that he ripped up.
Dave Rubin
Well, Chamberlain, I mean, you've tried to defend the indefensible war on Iran on my show several times, so present a better case for why it's been such a thumping triumph, given last time I checked, the slain Ayatollah has been replaced by his more radical son. The IRGC remains firmly in control of the country. There's been no popular uprising. The Strait of Hormuz remains completely in the control of Iranians, and every time anyone tries to threaten them, they fire off rockets at their Gulf State neighbors, causing untold havoc whilst holding the entire world to an economic barrel. I mean, where's the big win, Will?
Will Chamberlain
No, I don't think we're winning the ceasefire at this point. I think that President Trump needs to stop dithering and escalate. And so I think that at this point, you have to look and say that the ceasefire hasn't been working. It's weakening our alliances with Israel, we're creating tension there, we're creating tension with the Gulf allies, I think, and we're not achieving anything meaningful with the ceasefire. So I think it's time to escalate. But I want to answer the sort of two points you highlighted from that clip that seems sort of, I think, kind of bizarre and poorly founded. One argument was apparently that because 200 children died, that therefore the war is a disaster. Well, then, if that's the metric we're using, why is it not a disaster that we didn't intervene and save the 40,000 people that were murdered by the Iranians prior to the war? And then.
Evan Martinez
So, wait, can I. Can I. Can I respond to that? Can I respond to that directly?
Dave Rubin
Sure.
Evan Martinez
Why would it not? If civilian death is disastrous as it relates to the Islamic Republic of Iran killing their own people, why would it not be disastrous for the United States to also kill Iranian civilians if you acknowledge that civilian death?
Will Chamberlain
Because we would theoretically acknowledge more, because collateral damage would be less than the number of people we'd be saving from being murdered. By their own regiment, obviously.
Evan Martinez
Except our. Except our military intervention has killed 1700 Iranian civilians. We haven't saved anyone.
Will Chamberlain
Oh, so we're only 5% of the way there in the same time period.
Evan Martinez
So. So wait, so your standard is as long as we kill under the amount that the Iranian government has killed of their own?
Will Chamberlain
I didn't say that.
Evan Martinez
We must.
Will Chamberlain
I think 5%. Don't you think it's dramatically less. Right. And that's also not counting, over time,
Evan Martinez
the thousands that have died at the
Will Chamberlain
hands of the Iranian regime of the last 30 years.
Evan Martinez
So why exactly is that a standard? Right. If we acknowledge that civilian.
Will Chamberlain
Well, no, this is your standard. You're the one who said it's disaster because 200 civilians died.
Evan Martinez
Yes, civilians that otherwise would have been alive.
Will Chamberlain
Okay, so 40,000 civilians died in the interim. Why was it not a disaster that we let that happen?
Evan Martinez
It was a disaster that we can say that that was. It was a disaster that happened. But there's no evidence that. But there's no evidence that our military intervention could have actually saved those people, because considering the fact we. We've now engaged. We've engaged in the military.
Will Chamberlain
We just have to let the Iranians murder everybody they want.
Dave Rubin
Hang on one second. Hang on one second. Well, Will, when you last appeared on my show several weeks ago, you insisted the United States controls the Strait of Hormuz, which led to some ridicule heading back your way. Do you still believe America controls the Strait of Hormuz?
Will Chamberlain
I think that control is contested. I think that's the best way to frame it. They can't get their ships out. We can't get our mom.
Dave Rubin
Well, it's not.
Will Chamberlain
Why can't Iran get.
Evan Martinez
Will, Are you saying that a U.S. tomahawk missile striking an elementary school in Manab, Iran, was not a disaster? Yes or no?
Will Chamberlain
I mean, I'm saying it's a mistake and a tragedy.
Evan Martinez
So it was a disaster. That doesn't mean the entire collateral damage. Is it not a disaster to you?
Mason
You're even calling it a disaster again?
Will Chamberlain
I mean, obviously, it's a tragedy that civilians died. Right? Like you're the central SAFE does everything in its power to avoid needless civilians. Hang on.
Dave Rubin
Don't talk over each other. Otherwise, unfortunately, we can't hear you. I mean, I do. Want to play a clip. Evan, this is. This is where you highlighted Dave Rubin's lack of understanding about enriched uranium. Let's take a listen to some of this.
Hunter Dunn
I'm impressed with your talking points. You got impressive talking points and you memorize them. Well, they're not correct, but I am impressed. Okay, first off, first off, the Iranians admitted in the negotiations right before the war started that they were enriching past what they were allowed to. That's number one. Number two, can you agree, can you agree or verify their claims? It's one thing to say, oh, this is what we're doing, this is what we are agreed to, etcetera, but you have to be able to verify that. And the idea that we have people on the ground or the UN or some third party organization that can verify
Evan Martinez
what they're actually doing, the IAEA assessments agree with me and Tulsi Gabbard, our Director of National Intelligence and testified in front of Congress last year. And according to the entire intelligence community, Iran did not have a nuclear weapons program.
Hunter Dunn
Okay. That they didn't have a nuclear weapons program. They were enriching past the point that they were allowed to for civilian use. Everyone knows that.
Dave Rubin
Most people were shaking their heads at that point. Well, yeah, I will bring the others in.
Evan Martinez
Prior.
Will Chamberlain
Yeah.
Evan Martinez
So I think the central point that I made to Dave in that debate after I brought up the Iranian schoolchildren is that even if we just acknowledge, okay, civilian deaths happen in war. That's why war has to be a last resort. And if this war is about Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon, what preceded Iran getting to 60% enriched uranium? It was Donald Trump unilaterally withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal.
Will Chamberlain
You have a time machine.
Evan Martinez
Iran did. Iran did not enrich. Excuse me, Iran did not enrich. 7%, yes or no, agreed upon in the JCPOA. I'll finish my point and then you can speak. Iran did not ENRICH Past the 3.67% agreed upon in the JCPOA until Donald Trump unilaterally withdrew from that deal. Iran is closer today. In fact, the IAEA actually came out just today on June 3rd, or, yeah, June 3rd, that Iran is actually more likely to pursue nuclear weapons. You've actually made the case for the Iranian hardliners that you can't negotiate with the Americans because if you come to a deal with the Americans, they'll just unilaterally withdraw from the deal. And if they attempt to negotiate again with the Americans like they did in either the 12 Day War or now, they'll just use negotiations as a rule as a ruse and attack you during negotiations. Iran is actually at a stronger negotiating point with their leverage when it comes to the Strait of Hormuz. And there's a reason why they are threatening to Withdraw from negotiations. They have the leverage in the situation. There's no indication that we militarily have weakened their negotiating leverage point.
Will Chamberlain
Okay, do you have a time machine?
Dave Rubin
No.
Will Chamberlain
Right. Okay. So why is a terminated 10 year old deal relevant to the decision to go to war in 2026?
Evan Martinez
Because Donald Trump uses. So I'll explain. I'll explain your question. You asked a question. I'll explain. Because the administration uses the fact that Iran was enriching past the need for civilian use and up to 60% as one of the reasons cited as to indicate that they were pursuing a nuclear weapon. But they did not do that before Donald Trump unilaterally pulled out of that decision.
Will Chamberlain
So. Yeah, but they are doing it. Should we just ignore that?
Dave Rubin
Okay, but
Will Chamberlain
my question will would be this obviously irrelevant.
Dave Rubin
Well, do you accept if the Iranians do not hand over the enriched uranium and it's not seized by American or Israeli forces and therefore remains in Iranian possession, and that if the goal was to stop their nuclear ambitions, then the goal has failed? Do you accept that?
Will Chamberlain
I think that basically that means that we have only partially succeeded in the goal because we have still set back their program with overall, you know, the overall effort, but we certainly haven't fully achieved it. And I think that's a pretty unsatisfying outcome.
Dave Rubin
Okay, let's go to the second.
Mason
I'm so like having trouble understanding which story Will is adopting. And because I've heard from so many different officials in the Trump administration, I mean, no longer Tulsi Gabbard saying that Iran was not pursuing a nuclear weapon.
Will Chamberlain
Marco Rubio, in that very testimony, she says that they have an enriched Iranian. We were never in a war to begin with.
Mason
This was a small military operation. Trump saying that we depleted their ability to build a nuclear weapon last year and now is saying that we have to increase the conflict to prevent them from getting a nuclear weapon. I just don't really know which story to buy when I'm hearing so many contradicting narratives from every member of the Trump administration. So which one do you adopt?
Will Chamberlain
They're perfectly reconcilable. I mean, it just seems like you haven't really much attention.
Mason
So we both depleted their ability to build a nuclear weapon last year with Operation Warhammer, and now we have to do severely degraded to stop them from building a nuclear weapon again to prevent
Will Chamberlain
them from reconstituting their program.
Mason
Yes, Donald Trump said that we destroyed their ability to last year. Were they already rebuilding?
Will Chamberlain
Yeah, they were set back years in the weaponization. They wasn't permanently eliminated but they were set back years. Yes.
Mason
So what? Where is your evidence that shows that we are entering into a new weaponization process?
Will Chamberlain
There isn't. I mean they're not going to do the weaponization until they're at a point where they would be in a position to immediately break out and do it. That's why you don't let people get to 60% enriched uranium. That's why literally the IAEA was freaking most recent report like all right,
Dave Rubin
let
Will Chamberlain
me just Americans could. This is why your guys position is so obviously facile. And you know why 25 year olds in Los Angeles shouldn't be setting foreign policy for the United States of America. Like obviously you shouldn't just settle.
Dave Rubin
You know what I would actually Quan Will, I've got to say hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on. I've got to say I would quite like a bunch of 25 year olds to be running this Iran foreign policy right now. It would probably make more sense.
Will Chamberlain
Sorry you guys lost the war.
Dave Rubin
Because more sense than the utterly confusing quagmire that we're now being dragged into a goalpost changing every three minutes. I want to move to another clip from the the Rubin ruin. This is where he tries to talk about the economic metrics that have made America better under Donald Trump. Let's take a listen.
Piers Morgan
What is one main metric that Donald Trump has made better off since he got in office? An example would be gdp, unemployment, inflation, et cetera. Right.
Hunter Dunn
Now first off, the big beautiful bill was just past last year and it's kicking in now. Right? It's kicking in now. So we are see, we are going to now see results of that like even the tariffs.
Dave Rubin
Listen, hashtag or I believe Mason, you want to say something about that?
Mason
Yeah. I mean whatever Will is going to try to say is like this abstract idea that the economy is great. He's probably going to say like the stock markets at all time highs even though that's been increasing.
Will Chamberlain
What are you talking about?
Mason
Well when you're talking about a metric
Will Chamberlain
that probably being like your mythical genocide and God, you're talking about the stock
Mason
market that applies to probably 20% Americans. Well, rent is continuing to skyrocket. People are seeing increases at the grocery store. Are their gas Prices are skyrocketing because of this foreign policy from the Trump administration. These aren't really good economics. Consumer dependent. I mean, the fact that most Americans feel like the economy is leaving them shows that Donald Trump lied on every very.
Will Chamberlain
Who's really interested in metrics now? You're just talking about how people feel. Yeah, yeah. You guys are great at this. I'll do this all day. Oh, my God. Violent crime is down 10%. Nationwide murders are down 20%. Crossings at the border are down 95%. It's one of, you know, the stock market's up 20%. Immigration crime, the economy, the administration is killing it 35%.
Mason
Explain to me what policies Donald Trump implemented to get these metrics.
Will Chamberlain
Yeah, he imposed a massive new increase in federal resources, surging to impose law and order. He ended the ridiculous woke nonsense at the end of the. What law and order are you talking about resources. And put the National Guard on the ground in D.C. that made the whole city.
Mason
So funny how you guys talk about law and order.
Will Chamberlain
Massively liberated energy production in the United States. Massive deregulatory.
Dave Rubin
Well, let me ask you one question. Does the average, does the average American feel better off now?
Mason
Will doesn't care. He said he doesn't give a shit about what America. He said, I don't
Piers Morgan
want to talk about.
Dave Rubin
My point would be President Trump campaigned to keep America out of pointless wars in the Middle east and campaigned to raise living standards and reduce inflation for the average American. Right. So my question is, he's now waged the biggest possible war in the Middle east, which is turning into an increasingly pointless war. And at the same time, the financial situation, economic situation of the average American has been damaged by it. It's just inarguable, isn't it?
Will Chamberlain
No, I don't think so, actually. I mean, like, with the stock market up 20%, I think in general, the overall economy is booming. You're seeing a lot of, of economic progress. And I mean, honestly, you're saying people are like, oil prices have skyrocketed. Here's the statistic for you today. If you actually look at the oil spot price, $82 a barrel, you know what it was under the last two years? The Biden administration, on average, $77 a barrel. And that's with a war in the Strait of Hormuz, obviously massively disrupting the oil supply. President Trump's doing a lot of things in order to make up for that. The brilliant stroke of genius in Venezuela that flipped an adversary to an ally overnight. The general liberation of our Overall energy supply. Also, I don't know why these guys are so upset about energy prices being higher. Aren't they all environmentalists? Aren't you all global warming freaks? Let me bring in oil prices so we.
Dave Rubin
I want to bring in Hunter Dunn. Now, Hunter, you've been very patient. Now, you attacked Rubin's claim that the modern left cares more about ideology than reality. By countering with the claim, Donald Trump is attacking the fundamental fabric that makes America America in regard to immigration. Let's take a listen.
Piers Morgan
Make America great again is an ideological claim that they are trying to make America great again that is fundamentally incongruous with reality. Because Donald Trump is not making America great. He's attacking the fundamental fabric that makes America America. For example, birthright citizenship. One of the things that distinguishes us from other countries in the Western world, in first world countries, is that we have just solely. If someone is born here, they are an American. If someone believes in the ideals of America, they're an American.
Hunter Dunn
No, wait, wait, wait.
Piers Morgan
But that's just not true.
Hunter Dunn
Meanwhile, if someone believes in the ideals of America, they're American. So someone in Canada believes in the ideals of America, they're American.
Piers Morgan
To quote the great conservative.
Dave Rubin
So before I come to you, Hunter, let's get Will to try and put up a better defense.
Will Chamberlain
I have a hard time understanding how Chinese birth tourism is integral to the fundamental fabric of America. That's a bizarre claim. Go ahead and try and defend it.
Dave Rubin
Okay, answer.
Piers Morgan
I'm just going to go. I'm going to go with the great conservative Ronald Reagan and give the actual full quote, which I wasn't able to give during the debate. You can go to live in France, you can go to live in Germany or Turkey or Japan, but you cannot become a German, a Turk, or a Japanese. But anyone from any corner of the earth can come to live in America and become an American.
Mason
Right?
Piers Morgan
What makes America great, what sets it apart from every other first world country, is that we want people to come here to improve America. That's why we were leading in innovation statistics on most of them until Trump took office a second time and then did everything he could good to not try to just shut down undocumented immigration, but also shut down legal immigration. That's why he's trying to send back 500,000 people who came here illegally by removing temporary protected status. Right? He claimed he's going after the worst, but he's not going after the worst. What did Donald Trump run on? Did he run on removing the worst of the worst? People who are Working hard, actually. Now, this is a real question, right? You're defending Trump's administration.
Will Chamberlain
Defend its own premise they don't have. Was it supposed to end in the
Piers Morgan
first month of Trump's presidency? Yes or no, Will? When was it supposed to endur?
Will Chamberlain
Didn't hear your question.
Dave Rubin
Please don't all talk at once. We can't hear any of you if you do.
Piers Morgan
This is a question for Will. Hunter asked all the questions. When was temporary supposed to end?
Will Chamberlain
When the immediate disaster in the area that led to the granting of temporary status obviated. Right. And so things like Venezuela, obviously temporary protected status should be over.
Piers Morgan
Who invaded Venezuela and, like, kidnapped the president again then? Who kidnapped Venezuela's president?
Will Chamberlain
Oh, you mean the one that flipped an adversarial nation into an ally and was the greatest stroke of military strategy this century? Yeah, that would be President Donald Trump, who turned Venezuela from an adversary to an ally. Oh, come on.
Piers Morgan
Things have not improved the lives of the adversary.
Will Chamberlain
You guys seen the struggle with this one? I know he's like your friend. We're hoping to win in Venezuela because you're all a bunch of communists, but here on the patriotic side, he loves
Piers Morgan
the authoritarian regime in Venezuela because there's his buddies. Right? He loves the authoritarian regime in El Salvador that's beating up American citizens.
Will Chamberlain
You love the guy. He just opposed regime in Israel.
Piers Morgan
Genocide in Gaza.
Will Chamberlain
He loves authoritarian genocide in Gaza. What, did you take hallucinogenics before you came on tonight? It's nine in the morning. It's a little early down in Los Angeles, as far as I can tell. Genocide in Gaza? What are you talking about?
Piers Morgan
You know, the forced displacement of Gazans. Right. A guy who just won in New Jersey. 12 at.
Will Chamberlain
Okay, here's a question for you. Did Britain commit genocide and actually campaign in World War II treated the people. Simple question. Simple question. Did Britain commit genocide in Germany? In the air campaign they conducted in World War II?
Mason
Was Britain targeting Germans?
Will Chamberlain
Yes, Britain was targeting Germans. Have you heard of operation they killed 35,000 German civilians in a week.
Mason
Britain targeting Germans for the sake of them being Germans, or were they actually targeting the regime? Did. Did.
Will Chamberlain
For the sake of being gods? They were targeting them because hundreds of
Mason
people surrounded their borders. Maybe that's a little bit different than a people that have been subjugated to apartheid for the past 75 years?
Will Chamberlain
Totally irrelevant now. You're missing again, you're dodging the question. Did, again, did England commit genocide by killing 35,000 German civilians in a week?
Mason
The intellectual titan you brought to Talk to us. Somebody who can't even acknowledge, basically, you
Will Chamberlain
can't even answer a straight question, yes or no.
Mason
What's the question?
Will Chamberlain
The question is commit genocide in Germany.
Mason
Britain was not targeting Germans because of their ethnicity. Britain was targeting. That had its own military. That was in real data.
Will Chamberlain
If they wanted to kill every last Gazan, they could have it. I mean, they could have. They moved Gazans around.
Piers Morgan
If you're setting the boundary, if you're saying the boundary at having to kill every single person of an ethnic group for it to be a genocide, then no genocide.
Dave Rubin
The point isn't. The point Isn't the point. Will.
Will Chamberlain
Will, Will, Will.
Dave Rubin
Isn't the point.
Mason
Is anymore.
Dave Rubin
Isn't the point.
Will Chamberlain
Will, after World War II and we're
Dave Rubin
in power after World War II. Whatever people think about the point you've raised and there are passionate views either way. After World War II, the Geneva Convention was set up specifically to prevent people targeting civilians in the way that they were targeted during World War II. And it's a convention that everyone signed up to.
Will Chamberlain
Right, but nobody introduced your hero, Winston Churchill of Jessica.
Dave Rubin
And the argument, the argument against what has happened in Gaza is that it breaches the Geneva Convention. That's the argument, yeah.
Will Chamberlain
That argument is wrong.
Evan Martinez
Can I respond?
Dave Rubin
Yeah, you can.
Evan Martinez
So in the 1990s, the Srebrenica massacre, part of the Bosnia war, was ruled to be an act of genocide by the ICJ. Only 8,000 Bosniak men and boys were killed. Another several thousand women and children were forcibly displaced. That's exactly what is happening in Gaza. Murder under the laws of war, to facilitate.
Will Chamberlain
Really? They rounded up 8,000 people and killed them all in cold blood.
Evan Martinez
So, so, so, so Netanyahu, or was that October 2nd? Excuse me. Excuse me, I'm.
Will Chamberlain
No, no, no, no, no. I'm not going to let you do this.
Evan Martinez
Actually, the civilian to combatant ratio, the civilian to combatant ratio in Gaza is much more about the ratio, not the mass.
Piers Morgan
No, no, but you're.
Evan Martinez
No, but you're, You're. If we're just talking about blanket targeting of civilians, but let me explain. Benjamin Netanyahu last year, in a testimony under the Foreign Affairs Committee, said, we are deliberately destroying civilian infrastructure. We're destroying more and more houses. Our only issue right now is finding a nation to accept. Is finding a nation to accept the Gaza population. You guys literally don't know Just this. Excuse me, I will be traveling.
Will Chamberlain
Houses. That's why they had to blow them up.
Evan Martinez
We will, I will let you speak.
Will Chamberlain
Houses.
Evan Martinez
They built all their Military as soon
Will Chamberlain
as you allow population.
Evan Martinez
As soon as you allow.
Dave Rubin
The truth is that Israel. The truth is that Israel has also destroyed about 75% of Gaza. So the idea was only targeting places
Will Chamberlain
where you've seen Berlin.
Evan Martinez
And let me just. Let me just.
Dave Rubin
Again, Will, the Genev Convention, here's the Geneva Convention was set up to stop mass civilian deaths of this kind.
Piers Morgan
Right.
Will Chamberlain
But they're calling this a genocide, which is sparking pre Geneva Conventions and what Hitler did during the time.
Dave Rubin
I haven't called it a genocide, but I would say. I would say it constitutes. I would say it constitutes. Wait a minute.
Piers Morgan
Right? The entire.
Dave Rubin
Wait a minute. I would say it constitutes ethnic cleansing. Very hard to dispute. It's not ethnic cleansing. When you hear Smodrich and Ben gvir. Smodrich and Ben GVIR have been very clear. They want to get all the Palestinians out of Gaza and get them all out of the West Bank. That's ethic cleansing.
Will Chamberlain
I mean, that's what like Hamas is trying to do in reverse one. And first off, they're not meant. Yahoo. They're trying to do the government.
Dave Rubin
I do think Hamas are genocidal.
Piers Morgan
Lead ministers in the Israeli government said about Palestinians, those are animals. They have no right to exist. I'm not debating the way it will happen, but they need to be exterminated. Where the hell did he get that from, Joseph Goebbels?
Will Chamberlain
They have no right to exist.
Dave Rubin
Let me ask a question.
Piers Morgan
Advocate for the mass slaughter palace.
Dave Rubin
All right, let me ask a question
Piers Morgan
in the Israeli government. Let me ask a question of our citizens.
Dave Rubin
Let me ask a question. Let me ask a question of Will to round up things with him. Then I'm going to ask the three other three guys a question about Will. So Polymarket said the likelihood of any peace deal being signed before the end of July is now at 38%, the lowest it's been in weeks, which suggests there's no sign of this ending soon. At what point do you start getting a bit twitchy, Will, about the way this is all going?
Will Chamberlain
Oh, I would say I'm already twitchy now. I'm kind of. I mean, they shot down the. They shot at the Kuwaiti International Airport yesterday evening, which is. I mean, Iran's a terrorist state. Guys like this is, you know, basically a terrorist organization in charge of a sovereign government. I think that Trump has been negotiating for far too long and it's time to escalate. We shouldn't just let our allies have their civilian airports, get struck by missiles.
Dave Rubin
Okay, let me ask the Three guys, one by one. I'll start with you, Evan. Do you think he's done a better job than Ruben?
Evan Martinez
Oh, do I think Will has done a better job than Ruben? Yeah, but that's not a high bar to pass, I think. I think actually, as much as I enjoyed our exchange on Jubilee Peers, I think Dave Rubens was probably my favorite. And I've done several of these because it was so. It was so great to expose the. Such a fraud like Dave Rubin. The fact that Dave Rubin has been doing a show on politics for well over a decade and can't get past, like, the most simple surface level talking points. He didn't have the modicum of. A modicum of understanding about things like the Iran war, the Iran nuclear deal, or even, for example, the economic statistics that Parker debated him on. It's just ridiculous to me that this man is a multimillionaire. Does this full time. Okay. I do this part time. I really enjoy this. I'm. I'm much younger than Dave. I've been doing it for much, much less time than. Than he has, and yet I was able to surpass him on every single point. We couldn't stick to a single point because he needed to consistently pivot because he had no idea what he was talking about. About. And that was ultimately why I enjoyed it. But, yeah, it's. Will, of course, did better because I think most conservatives, even random conservatives off the street, could do better than Dave.
Dave Rubin
Okay, so one or a victory for Will? For one of you, Mason, what do you think?
Mason
You know, I love talking to people like Will. I think he's a real inspiration for people out there that if you memorize the propaganda of the regime, you can be in good standing with them. And come on debate shows to just repeat those.
Dave Rubin
Has he done better than he just.
Mason
Just cheerlead for Donald Trump, do mental gymnastics to try to justify what clearly every American is hating right now.
Dave Rubin
The question is, has he done better than Dave Rubin?
Mason
Yeah, I mean, I'd agree with what Evan said. It's a pretty low bar. I think a coughing baby would probably put up a bigger fight than Dave Rubin.
Dave Rubin
Finally, Hunter, your view. Has he done better than Dave Rubin?
Piers Morgan
Well, first, thank you for bringing us on piers when it comes to Dave Rubin. Something one of my personal heroes, Kendrick Lamar, demonstrates in the entire world is when you beat up a kid's dad in the back of a parking lot, you should apologize to that kid. So thank you for giving me the opportunity to apologize to Dave Rubin's son. When it comes to who is better between Dave Rubin or Will Chamberlain? I think Will was a lot better of a debater. I'd actually love to debate Will in a longer format in the future just because at least he can keep up with us. He's got his own talking points. He actually knows what's going on is paying attention the whole time. And like Dave Rubin, I think my 5 year old cousin could have done a better job debating me than Dave.
Dave Rubin
Well, you know what I would like to say, I would like to, well, congratulations to Will on being judged better than Dave Rubin. It is a low bar. And to the three guys, I'd like to say I'm actually really pleased for you that you finally got a win after the ass kicking I gave you all. So it's great to see you all again.
Mason
We gotta have a rematch on that so you can cry about genders again. I'm really excited about that.
Dave Rubin
I'm actually identifying as a natural born winner today.
Mason
There you go.
Dave Rubin
Because I'm looking at three people that I vanquished. But guys, it's great to see you again. I really enjoyed the jubilee. It's a great format, it's great fun. But Dave Rubin was an absolute horror story. Thank you all very much indeed. Thank you.
Will Chamberlain
Will, you're on. Thanks, Piers.

Title: 'DUMBEST Man In Right Wing Media!' Dave Rubin's Jubilee Shame Unpacked
Podcast: Piers Morgan Uncensored
Air Date: June 4, 2026
This episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored dissects the viral fallout from Dave Rubin’s recent, much-criticized performance on Jubilee’s political debate series, where he struggled to defend his pro-Trump, right-wing positions under intense questioning from younger, left-leaning panelists. Piers Morgan assembles some of the Jubilee episode’s breakout participants—Mason, Evan Martinez, and Hunter Dunn—alongside conservative lawyer Will Chamberlain to unpack what led commentators to dub Dave Rubin "the dumbest man in right-wing media," examine Trump’s policies (with a focus on the Iran war, economy, and immigration), and continue the fierce debate between left and right.
Piers Morgan introduces the central premise: Dave Rubin was widely panned for his poor defense of Trump and right-wing positions on Jubilee, with commentators like Mehdi Hassan and Glenn Greenwald lambasting him.
“Mehdi Hassan declared, it's official, Dave Rubin is the dumbest man in right wing media. Glenn Greenwald, meanwhile, said it's not news that Dave Rubin is one of the dumbest people in media. Theme developing there.” (Dave Rubin, 03:11)
Morgan welcomes the “stars” of the Jubilee episode and Will Chamberlain, setting up a rematch/debate to see if the panel can stump a more adept right-wing advocate.
Notable moment:
Hunter Dunn paraphrases Kendrick Lamar in a playful jab at Rubin’s performance:
“When you beat up a kid's dad in the back of a parking lot, you should apologize to that kid. So thank you for giving me the opportunity to apologize to Dave Rubin's son.” (Hunter Dunn, 01:49; 31:58)
Panelists challenge the narrative that Trump’s military escalation with Iran served national or global interests, highlighting high civilian casualties and dubious strategic gains.
Will Chamberlain attempts to defend the intervention, arguing that, despite tragedies, U.S. action theoretically reduced deaths compared to what would have occurred under continued Iranian oppression.
“One argument was ... because 200 children died, that therefore the war is a disaster. Well, then ... why is it not a disaster that we didn't intervene and save the 40,000 people that were murdered by the Iranians prior to the war?” (Will Chamberlain, 07:39)
Evan Martinez rebuts by citing higher civilian casualties and the lack of evidence that U.S. interventions saved lives.
“Our military intervention has killed 1,700 Iranian civilians. We haven't saved anyone.” (Evan Martinez, 08:50)
“Iran did not enrich past the 3.67% agreed upon in the JCPOA until Donald Trump unilaterally withdrew from that deal.” (Evan Martinez, 12:23)
Morgan repeatedly challenges panelists to cite concrete metrics Trump improved, such as GDP, unemployment, and inflation.
“What's the main metric that he made better off? GDP, unemployment, inflation? Do you have any idea?” (Piers Morgan, 03:06, 17:20)
Will Chamberlain cites stock market increases, declines in violent crime and border crossings, and energy policy as alleged successes.
“Violent crime is down 10%. Nationwide murders are down 20%. Crossings at the border are down 95%. The stock market's up 20%. Immigration, crime, the economy, the administration is killing it 35%.” (Will Chamberlain, 18:15)
Mason and others counter that these numbers don’t match most Americans’ real experiences with rising rents, groceries, and gas.
“When you're talking about a metric ... the stock market that applies to probably 20% Americans. Rent is continuing to skyrocket. People are seeing increases at the grocery store.” (Mason, 17:48)
Panelists argue that Trump undermines America's uniqueness by attacking birthright citizenship and both legal and illegal immigration.
Chamberlain retorts, dismissing the idea that “Chinese birth tourism is integral to the fundamental fabric of America.”
“I have a hard time understanding how Chinese birth tourism is integral to the fundamental fabric of America. That's a bizarre claim.” (Will Chamberlain, 21:43)
Morgan quotes Ronald Reagan:
“Anyone from any corner of the earth can come to live in America and become an American.” (Piers Morgan, 21:52)
The group debates how Trump’s policies reduced citizenship opportunities and created new hardships for immigrants.
“Did Britain commit genocide in Germany in the air campaign they conducted in World War II?” (Will Chamberlain, 25:15)
"That's exactly what is happening in Gaza. Murder under the laws of war, to facilitate." (Evan Martinez, 26:58)
“I think a coughing baby would probably put up a bigger fight than Dave Rubin.” (Mason, 31:47)
