Justin, are you there?
Justin
Hi, guys. Hi, guys. How are you guys?
Ryder Strong
We. How are you doing, man?
Danielle Fishel
Are great.
Justin
I'm. I'm still on cloud nine that this is happening right now. This is crazy. This is amazing.
Will Friedle
Well, we'll see. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. We'll see. Let's see what's going on here.
Danielle Fishel
We are so excited. You sent us an email with a really wonderful idea. You and your girlfriend. How. What? First of all, what is your girlfriend's name?
Justin
Danielle.
Danielle Fishel
I love her already. So you and Danielle, how long have you guys been together?
Justin
Officially, it'll be about six months after the. Once the show starts next week.
Danielle Fishel
You guys have only been together for six months?
Justin
Yes, ma'.
Danielle Fishel
Am. Wow. But you. When you know, you know. Huh?
Justin
When you know, you know. She's just my little person.
Danielle Fishel
Oh, okay, great. So you reached out to us and said, I want to propose to my girlfriend. And. Or do you guys live in Ohio?
Justin
We live in Kentucky, actually.
Danielle Fishel
Oh, you live in Kentucky. How did you pick Columbus to be the show where you want to propose?
Justin
The list of shows you guys just announced a couple of weeks ago, that was the closest show. And I immediately texted her and called her, and by the time I got home from work, she had on the waiting list ready to buy tickets for the show. I'm like, oh, that's perfect.
Danielle Fishel
Oh, my goodness. So you. She has no idea. You think this is going to be a total surprise that you're going to propose 100.
Justin
She has no idea that I'm doing any of this. She thinks I'm just having lunch with my mom, so she's clueless. I've made jokes Like I've said, they come on, stay, pull people on stage and they do guest interaction at the shows. And like, it would be crazy if we got up there, wouldn't it be? She's like, I don't know what I would do. So she has no idea.
Danielle Fishel
Okay, well, my best advice is don't mention that again.
Justin
Go ahead.
Will Friedle
Yeah. And how confident are you in the. Yes. Return of said question?
Justin
Oh, a hundred percent. She has made numerous comments about a ring. She's waiting on a ring. She keeps throwing up that finger, like, waiting.
Danielle Fishel
So do you already have the ring?
Justin
I do have the ring already. It's been resized. It's ready to go.
Danielle Fishel
This is so much fun. I can't even stand it. So we need to work out with you how you want to do this. This is your moment, sir. Like, this is all about Justin and Danielle. So we do. Like you mentioned in. In our show, we like to do audience interaction. We usually pull somebody up on stage and we recreate a scene. We have a bunch. We've done a bunch of different scenes. We've pulled a bunch of different. We've had people play Feeneys, people play Corey. We've had people play all kinds of things. What do you think would be ideal, a way to get both of you guys on stage for you to be able to propose?
Justin
I was thinking. I was leaning towards a few different directions, but I feel like she might freeze if she had to act in front of all the people. But I was thinking about like, like almost like the game show episode where we kind of like some trivia questions which we could pull up a couple extra guests, maybe pull them in before the show starts. This is what's happening. We're pull you up so you're kind of. Or just me and her a one on one and then you know, kind of answer the questions. Maybe even one that the last question is, what question did Topanga ask Corey that left him speechless at the end of the graduation episode? Something where it. Words where she doesn't think that's she. She would know the answer to that question. Of course. But something to where we could word it to where she doesn't think about it and then I can kind of be behind, let her answer and I could just get down on a knee and say actually or whatever I would like to say to her and just do it right then and there. Something along those lines would be kind of.
Ryder Strong
I. I think that's pretty good, actually. What's great about trivia is that it takes the pressure off if she might not come up. If it's like an acting thing or if it's like, oh, we're just going to pick and then we could have multiple people up there. So it's. It makes sense of both of you.
Justin
Yeah, exactly. A random giveaway. Hey, we had a random drawing. They said sending emails, and we picked, you know, a handful of emails. I fake enter one. Enter, enter one in for her and she not know it. And we both get randomly pulled up there.
Danielle Fishel
Well, what I think would work is it to your point, if we do a trivia thing and we pull up maybe two couples, two or three couples, you know, pairs. Doesn't have to be couples, but pairs friends.
Justin
But yeah.
Danielle Fishel
And we, if we just know where you're sitting so we know where to look for you. So we. Again, once you, if you have your tickets, you'd let us know where you're sitting. We will then know where you are in the audience. And what do is we'll ask people to stand up in the audience. Maybe we'll ask a trivia question there and we'll select people and you'll just be one of the people we select. The two of you.
Will Friedle
Should we. Should we do something almost like couple related? So it's like we're going to bring a couple couples on stage because we want to see who has more knowledge of the Corey Topanga relationship.
Danielle Fishel
Yeah, there you go.
Will Friedle
And so if that makes sense for then why there's couples on stage.
Ryder Strong
I like that. Yeah.
Will Friedle
And it's like, who thinks they know the best Cory in Topanga who thinks they're going to be the best Cory in Topanga who has the.
Justin
The.
Will Friedle
And then we'll have a bunch of question set up that are just like, oh, they know this, they know this. And then the last question we ask you will be, what did Topanga ask? What? What did she ask that. And then, yeah, Danielle will turn around. Your Danielle, not our Danielle. She'll already be facing. We'll turn around and then you can pop the question.
Justin
Yeah, I like that.
Will Friedle
Okay.
Danielle Fishel
Okay. I think that's great. One thing I do want to say that I'm thinking ahead. I'm thinking like a director. You had mentioned that you would step back from her.
Justin
And.
Danielle Fishel
And then in then when you propose, her back will be to the audience if she has to turn around to you. So my best advice is that when you guys are on stage, if you're standing next to each other and we ask the question and she's going to immediate. She's Going to know the answer. She's going to raise her hand and. And you'll let her answer. And then you'll just take your moment. You'll step. Just take a step to the side and get down on one knee so that she'll be profile. Then everybody will still get to see both of you and the reaction and see what's happening.
Will Friedle
I think that'll work. We can work out the timing when. Now the question is, do you think it should be. Should. Should we do it in lieu of said scene?
Danielle Fishel
I think so.
Unknown
What?
Ryder Strong
No, we do. We do our normal show. We do.
Justin
That'll throw her off the scent too. If we're not doing it so early, just do it when it's normally supposed to happen.
Ryder Strong
Right. So we'll do our normal scene and then usually at that point we go into a Q and A anyway. Right. So instead we'll go into. Or we do the Q and A and then do trivia afterwards. What do you guys think?
Danielle Fishel
Well, we're gonna be taking our 90 minute show into now, you know, two hours.
Ryder Strong
Yeah, I just have a shorter Q A because this, this could only. This would only have to be like two trivia questions. Right. We're like, we're gonna test your Corey Topanga knowledge. We need couples. And I like saying that we need couples because then Danielle can't refuse to go up. It's like you have to. And we pick you. Right. So we'll pick you guys and one other couple.
Danielle Fishel
I still think we do it in lieu of the scene. I don't. We do. We do the scene in order to get audience interaction. And so now we are still going to pull up other couples.
Ryder Strong
Okay.
Will Friedle
Yeah. I think, I think it either has to be in lieu of the scene or in lieu of the. The Q and A.
Justin
Right?
Danielle Fishel
Yeah. I think this is what we do. We say we want to involve more of you. Come on, let's bring up. We want to do Corey and Topanga. We want to do trivia, and so we want to bring up couples. I think that's. I think that's a great.
Will Friedle
Well, you know, you know what we'll do? We'll set it up the way we always set stuff up. We'll say, hey, you know, we, we. We normally at this point we do a Q and A, but Ryder and Danielle and I got into a little thing on the plane about which one of us knows our spouse better. And so that led us to then who. Who in the audience? Which couples in the audience would know Corey, Cory and Topanga better than we would know Cory and Topanga. So we want to bring instead of Q and A, we're going to bring a couple couples up. Who wants to come up instead of.
Danielle Fishel
Q and A, you think we should do instead of Q and A versus instead of the scene?
Justin
I don't know. It's tough.
Danielle Fishel
We'll figure.
Will Friedle
We'll figure it out. I guess we could do it instead of the scene. Maybe it is better instead of the scene. Because then. Because people like the Q and A. They like to be able to come up and ask the question. Okay. So that. Maybe that. Maybe that's right. Maybe that's what we do.
Danielle Fishel
I think we do this instead of the scene. I think the only thing we haven't.
Will Friedle
Really discussed though, Justin, is our fee.
Ryder Strong
It's an appearance fee.
Will Friedle
Yeah. So small bills. We like to be paid in fresh two dollar bills.
Danielle Fishel
Yeah.
Justin
I'm gonna request.
Danielle Fishel
Okay. Pennies. Well, those are. Those are about to be obsolete. They're going to be worth something, actually. Bring. Bring us each a penny and we're thrilled. Well, Justin, this is going to be very fun. We will continue to be in touch with you via email. You send us where your seats are so we know exactly where to find you. We will work out the specifics about the questions, so some of it will be a surprise to you too. But we will stick with this plan that the last question to you guys will be what is the question that Topanga asked Corey at their graduation? And that will be your moment. And then we will also. We're going to be following this up. This is just part one. We're going to be following this up after. We're going to talk to you after and have you and Danielle on to tell us about what the experience was like for you. So this is only the beginning. The countdown is on. It's. It's. It's just over a week away.
Will Friedle
Are you nervous? Are you nervous? I remember when I proposed, I was so nervous.
Justin
I'm. I'm getting more and more nervous every day. Especially when I saw the email from Jensen originally that started the whole thing. I'm just like, oh, boy. This is. I put into motion a wheel that is not going to stop. We're doing it.
Will Friedle
I just described marriage. Congratulations.
Danielle Fishel
But I do want you to know, just in case the wheel can stop. If at any point you decide. What the hell did I do? I don't want to do this.
Will Friedle
No.
Danielle Fishel
Just let us know.
Will Friedle
Nope. You're in now, Justin, there's no. You cannot pull the cannot Pull the cord. At this point, my friend, you're in.
Justin
There's no cord to pull. Okay, great.
Danielle Fishel
Well, thank you, Justin. It was wonderful talking to you. We'll see you in eight days. I can't wait to help you begin the rest of your life with Danielle.
Justin
I'll see you guys in eight days.
Danielle Fishel
All right, thanks. Oh, my gosh. Six months, huh?
Will Friedle
Six months.
Ryder Strong
That got me really nervous. I was like, oh, no. But then when he's like, no, no, no, no. She's been making hints and yeah, we.
Will Friedle
Also just need to get to the engagement, then it's out of my go through with it.
Ryder Strong
I would be so nervous for him.
Danielle Fishel
Yeah.
Ryder Strong
If he only was like six months and I don't know what she's going to say.
Danielle Fishel
I'd be like, dude, dude, don't put.
Ryder Strong
Me in this position. I'm not ready for this emotionally.
Will Friedle
Immediately abort.
Ryder Strong
Oh, gosh.
Danielle Fishel
By the way, if you were ever in a public engagement situation and you wanted is, I think I would say yes and then cancel later. Privately. You say yes in the moment and then you later go, what the hell were you thinking? I don't want to do this. You're out of your mind. I take it back.
Ryder Strong
Oh, my God.
Will Friedle
Yeah, that's one of my favorite episodes of the Office. When Michael just, just proposes to her at a party and she's like, can we talk? And he's like, oh, crap.

Parents, let's talk snacks. If your mornings look anything like mine, you're reheating the same cup of coffee for the third time. Learn more@motts.com Adler is doing right now for three weeks. He's doing something called art camp. And it's all like all different kinds of art. Yeah. And he's been loving that. And then this is his last week of that. And Monday he starts a camp which is all outdoor adventure. So like hikes and leaf recognition and bird watching.
Ryder Strong
Oh my God, that's awesome.
Danielle Fishel
Yeah, so I'm surprised.
Ryder Strong
No baseball camp, huh?
Danielle Fishel
Or yeah, he's in, he's in basketball right now. So he's, he's got Tuesday nights, he's got basketball or Thursday nights he's got basketball practice and Saturday mornings he has a basketball game and he's got karate Monday, Wednesday and all the other days.
Ryder Strong
All right, so he doesn't need a camp.
Danielle Fishel
He doesn't need a sports camp.
Ryder Strong
It's every, everybody I know. Like all the kids do soccer camp. Like that's just takes over summer. It's so. Yeah, like it's, that's what everybody themes their time around.
Danielle Fishel
Yeah, yeah, he, he probably will as he gets old. Like he's so. He also just started piano and singing. He is absolutely the kid that like we, if we just said like, hey, guess what? You're going to be doing Blue Booty Blue Booty Camp, he'd be like, great. What's that I'm in. And so I dream. It's so great.
Ryder Strong
Okay, I don't want to hear about it.
Danielle Fishel
So I just decided you get to.
Ryder Strong

Justin
What?
Ryder Strong
Why today I have to do that now?
Danielle Fishel
That's.
Ryder Strong
That's what?
Will Friedle
That's.
Ryder Strong
Yeah.
Danielle Fishel
Oh, my God. I figured this summer, I'm gonna give Adler just every opportunity to try all the things he wants to try. And then maybe next year he'll be like, I really loved wildcraft, or I really loved art Camp. And then we'll just, like, pick one. But this year, I was like, let's try them all.
Will Friedle
Well, he might like bluebiddy. Bluebiddy Camp. That sounds like an amazing place.
Ryder Strong
I mean, sure, I want to go there.
Danielle Fishel
My God, I'm really excited to do this little mini episode. We have not seen Justin and Danielle since a very.
Ryder Strong
What if they. Come on.
Danielle Fishel
It could happen that way, guys. We don't really know. You probably remember when we interviewed Justin, it's probably part of the same episode, actually, combining the before and the after where they've. Where we've talked before.
Ryder Strong
All right, it's been 30 seconds.
Danielle Fishel
It's been 30 seconds.
Ryder Strong
Do you remember way back our commercial break?
Will Friedle
It's been 11 minutes.
Danielle Fishel
Oh, yes. They've had to hit skip six or 70 times.
Will Friedle
32 times. I love when you hit skip. And it just. It's either one of our voices and it's like. Which is why I love Legacy Box. Hyundai Accent. And you're just like, oh, my God. It sounds like one long commercial Liquid IV really saved me from. Which is why I had screenings for, like.
Justin
It's like, oh.
Will Friedle
Nice.
Danielle Fishel
Well, let's welcome back Justin. And now for the first time, Danielle, since their proposal, which took place at our Columbus Pod Meets World live show on June 19th. Let's. Let's bring them in. Yay.
Will Friedle
Hey.
Justin
How are you guys?
Will Friedle
We're good to see you again.
Danielle Fishel
Great. So excited to see you. We have not talked to you since the big moment on June 19th in Columbus when Justin proposed to Danielle on stage. Before we hear all about your thoughts, your experiences, all of that, we have a clip to play. So I want to. I want to play the clip.
Will Friedle
All right, Danielle.
Unknown
Okay.
Will Friedle
It's still 2 2, right?
Danielle Fishel
Yeah, still 2 2.
Will Friedle
Tiebreaker.
Ryder Strong
Tiebreaker.
Will Friedle
Question right now.
Danielle Fishel
Okay. What question did Topanga ask Corey at graduation? Danielle. Danielle, did you have any idea? She didn't know we were working with Justin.
Will Friedle
We've been working with him for a.
Danielle Fishel
While for a couple of Weeks.
Will Friedle
Wait, Tara, can you do me a. Can you do a favor? Can you go back to right before he popped the question? As Danielle's reading the question, I just want you to watch how nervous Justin is.
Justin
Oh, I'm so nervous.
Will Friedle
You can see him. He is like. He's rocking back and forth, his hands in his pocket.
Justin
Not left the ring. It's tightly.
Ryder Strong
Oh, my God.
Justin
He pinched in my fingers.
Will Friedle
I'm sorry. I just needed to see that again because I was just. It's one of those if you know, you know, kind of things where he was so nervous. It was. Oh, man, it was great.
Justin
None of that hit me until then, really.
Danielle Fishel
It was just. All right. In that moment, you were like. Because here it is. Okay, so, Danielle, I want to get to your experience in a little bit, but since we already talked to Justin and had been planning this with him, what was the experience like for you coming into that night? And you got an email from us, right? Tell us everything coming in.
Justin
I mean, from the start, like, it was just. I'm crazy to even get an email from you guys. I never thought. I mean, you guys have so many viewers and listeners. Never thought you'd even see that email to get it. I almost told her because we were having car issues when I got that email. And I almost told her just over in excitement. Just because she's my best friend, I want her to know everything. So I had to stop. But it's been terrorizing, like, knowing all of this that I'm doing with you guys and all this, and knowing how much it means to her not to be able to share with her. But it's also been so perfect that I haven't had to lie to her about any of it. It's just kind of been lit under the radar. Everything I've done has an excuse, so to speak. But, I mean, up until then, I was pretty calm, cool, and collected. And then when you guys started the Feeny or no Feeny, that's when my heart decided to pound out of my chest. I was like, oh, this might be it. And then you did. And I was like, all right, calm down. And then, honestly, once Topanga Danielle picked me, I almost left her in the seat by herself. I just ran halfway up. I was like, oh, I gotta get the carousel. I had turned right back in.
Danielle
He just left me in the dust.
Justin
But then, right, I got on stage, I think, obviously nervous, you know, not only to be proposing to my best friend in life, but, you know, meeting the Boy Meets World gang. I grew up Watching you guys. So all of the nerves kind of just meshed into one. And then I blacked out after I popped the question. Came back to Topanga's running back and forth on the stage. I'm like, might be an alternate reality, but we're here now, so let's roll with it.
Danielle Fishel
So, Danielle, all you knew was that Justin was taking you to see Pod Meets World live, right?
Danielle
Actually, I was taking him.
Danielle Fishel
Oh.
Danielle
I bought the tickets because we both love.
Danielle Fishel
Right?
Danielle
Boy Meets World. Pod Meets World. We love you guys. And we found out you guys were coming to Columbus, which is only a couple hours from us, so we were like, yeah, we're going. We have to go. Everything else, I had no idea that was. I was completely surprised.
Danielle Fishel
Okay. And so from the moment you arrive that night, is anything out of the ordinary? Are you noticing Justin's behavior being weird? Are you picking up on anything?
Danielle
So, like, the whole week leading up to it, I started, like, questioning if it was going to happen, like, on our weekend trip. And so I call my sister. I'm freaking out. She's like, calm down. He's not doing it. Like, I think I would know. I was like, oh, okay. So then while we're getting ready, my sister is, like, blowing up my phone. Take pictures. Are you there yet? And I'm like, you what? What is happening? Why are you so invested?
Danielle Fishel
Why are you so invested in our weekend away in Columbia?
Danielle
What's happening?
Justin
Her sister's known the entire time, too, from, like, basically day one, of course. So her sister's been in on it.
Danielle
So I think she, like, if she would have said anything else, she probably would have given it away. So, like, I had, like, suspicions because he was kind of, like, acting nervous and stuff, and I'm like, I mean, I was nervous, too. We were going to see you guys in person. But then he was, like, very. Like, I would try to hold his hand, and he would, like, jerk or whatever, and I'm like, she tried to.
Justin
Put her hand on my lap. I'm like, no, no, no. You'll feel the ring.
Will Friedle
Let's not do that.
Justin
Y. To push a hand away from me without seeing.
Danielle
Disrespectfully, I'm like, what are you doing? So then when you guys were asking for volunteers, like, I was actually in utter disbelief that he even wanted to go up on stage because he is so not that person.
Danielle Fishel
Right, Right.
Danielle
So I was like. I thought I would be the one who's, like, yanking him up on stage, and it's the other way around. But I honestly, like, never in a million years would have thought that that was what was about to happen.
Danielle Fishel
Right. So you may have had your suspicions that it was gonna happen somewhere in your 72 hours away. Yes. But zero idea it was gonna be on stage.
Danielle
On stage or even at the show at all.
Danielle Fishel
At the show at all.
Will Friedle
Well, the thing that made me a little nervous is because we were all doing it during the trivia contest, and the guy who I picked was, like, a Boy Meets world master.
Danielle Fishel
He was a super fan.
Ryder Strong
Yeah.
Will Friedle
And so it was one of those things where we were like, okay, we got to get. Because we're rehearsing the show beforehand. So we rehearse. We're like, all right, we have to kind of rehearse the whole proposal thing too. And so we're like, well, how do we set it up? What if somebody else tries to guess the question first? That's supposed to be Justin's prompt question.
Danielle Fishel
Yeah.
Will Friedle
So it was like, okay, well, we. I think somebody said, danielle, were you like, we have to send him an email saying, you have to raise your hand before the question gets out.
Danielle Fishel
Exactly. Before you even know what I'm saying. The question is, if you shoot your hand up and it becomes kind of a jokey bit, then it makes sense why we're giving it to you to answer first.
Will Friedle
Yep.
Danielle Fishel
I. I personally think it couldn't have gone any better.
Will Friedle
It was perfect.
Danielle
It was absolutely perfect.
Will Friedle
It was perfect.
Danielle
Oh, my gosh. I still think about it, and I am just in awe of how it happened.
Justin
I'm not ever topping this one.
Danielle
I don't think anybody is.
Ryder Strong
Ever.
Will Friedle
Well, I also, as you said before, as I joked with you, you had to pay us in crisp $2 bills to do this, and the first thing you did on stage after proposing was hand me a crisp $2 bill that I still have. I've still got my $2 bill.
Danielle Fishel
You will.
Will Friedle
So I'm keeping that. That was awesome. Keeping that.
Danielle Fishel
Well, have you guys started wedding planning? Have you guys started picking a date? What's the plans?
Justin
We're kind of jumping through ideas. We've thought about, like, doing just a Vegas weekend and just eloping and then doing a big party with friends and family.
Danielle Fishel
I love that.
Justin
We don't really know yet. We're just jumping through different ideas and doing an adult trip or type of thing with our friends.
Will Friedle
You know, Danielle will meet you in Vegas anytime you go there.
Danielle
I've never been to Vegas, and I think it would be a lot of fun.
Danielle Fishel
Yeah, I agree. I think you guys would have a blast. And I love the idea of a elope wedding and then big party for everybody to celebrate your love and your relationship. I mean the, the, the excitement in the room the night you proposed, our fans, they were, the gasps, everybody was like. And then the hoopla and the applause. It was so wonderful. It was such a feeling. Justin, Danielle, thank you so much for sharing such a monumental, important, once in a lifetime day with us and for giving us the opportunity to make it special for you both. From all of us here, we wish you a lifetime of love and happiness and health and wealth and joy and fun. And we're, we can't wait to get regular updates from you. Justin
We have to say thank you guys because without you guys, really, this wouldn't have not been possible. So really, from both of us, truly, you've made a core memory for each of us for a lifetime. Thank you.
Danielle Fishel
Thank you.
Ryder Strong
Congrats, guys.
Danielle Fishel
Congratulations.
Will Friedle
Congratulations.
Ryder Strong
So excited for you.
Justin
You guys take care.
Danielle Fishel
See ya.
Will Friedle
You too.

Oh, man, I love love.
Ryder Strong
It's funny, I was thinking. I was like, you know, because people get proposed or people get engaged at, like, baseball games or, you know, other. But I was like, there's something about Boy Meets World that is, like, essentially about love. You know, like, there's something romantic, you know, the Cory Topanga thing.
Will Friedle
So I was like, oh, this actually.
Ryder Strong
Does kind of make sense. Maybe we should do this on a regular basis. Like, yeah, have weddings at our live shows. That'll just be.
Danielle Fishel

Will Friedle

Pod Meets Proposal: A Heartwarming Live Proposal on "Pod Meets World"
Introduction
In the memorable episode titled "Pod Meets Proposal," released on July 25, 2025, the "Pod Meets World" team from iHeartPodcasts orchestrates a touching live proposal on one of their shows. Hosted by Danielle Fishel, Will Friedle, and Rider Strong, the episode captures the excitement, nerves, and ultimate joy of a live engagement, blending heartfelt moments with insightful discussions about planning such a significant life event.
Planning the Perfect Proposal
The episode centers around Justin, a dedicated fan, who reaches out to the hosts with a heartfelt request: to propose to his girlfriend, Danielle, during a live "Pod Meets World" show. The planning process is both meticulous and thoughtful, ensuring the moment remains a surprise for Danielle.
Initial Contact and Idea Generation (03:49 - 07:43)
Justin expresses his excitement and nervousness about the proposal:
Justin (03:57): "I'm still on cloud nine that this is happening right now. This is crazy. This is amazing."
The hosts brainstorm creative ways to facilitate the proposal without letting Danielle suspect anything:
Danielle Fishel (06:50): "I think that's pretty good, actually. What's great about trivia is that it takes the pressure off if she might not come up."
Crafting the Proposal Moment
The team decides to incorporate a trivia segment focused on the beloved "Boy Meets World" characters Cory and Topanga. This approach not only aligns with the show's theme but also creates a natural setting for Justin to propose.
Finalizing the Plan (07:59 - 12:19)
The hosts discuss how to seamlessly integrate the proposal into the live show:
Will Friedle (09:02): "Who thinks they know Cory and Topanga better than we would know Cory and Topanga. So we want to bring a couple couples up."
Danielle Fishel (11:04): "We do this instead of the scene. I think the only thing we haven't really discussed though, Justin, is our fee."
The Big Moment: Live Proposal
On June 19th in Columbus, the meticulously planned proposal unfolds. Justin and Danielle, unaware of the surprise, attend the live show, where Justin's heartfelt intentions come to life on stage.
During the Show (24:00 - 32:00)
The proposal begins with engaging trivia questions, culminating in the pivotal moment where Justin gets down on one knee:
Danielle Fishel (27:44): "It was absolutely perfect. Oh, my gosh. I still think about it, and I am just in awe of how it happened."
Justin shares his emotional experience:
Justin (25:22): "I'm still nervous every day. But everything worked out perfectly."
Post-Proposal Reflections
Following the successful proposal, Justin and Danielle discuss their feelings and future plans, offering listeners an intimate glimpse into their relationship and the joy of becoming engaged.
Emotional Aftermath and Future Plans (32:07 - 33:52)
They talk about potential wedding ideas, balancing elopement with a grand celebration:
Justin (32:07): "We're kind of jumping through ideas. We've thought about doing just a Vegas weekend and just eloping and then doing a big party with friends and family."
Danielle adds her excitement and gratitude:
Danielle Fishel (33:35): "Justin, thank you so much for sharing such a monumental day with us."
Conclusion: Celebrating Love and Community
