Janice Torres
We've done it. I don't know how, but we've managed to do it. My family changed Easter.
Will Friedle
Did your family actually change Easter?
Janice Torres
We celebrated Easter last.
Will Friedle
Jesus died four days later.
Janice Torres
Jesus was super accommodating for WrestleMania this year. My family adjusted it. We celebrated it last weekend.
Danielle Fishel
I did Easter baskets.
Janice Torres
A full Easter egg hunt. My kids will be none the wiser.
Will Friedle
Oh, man. Did they win or the bunny win?
Janice Torres
They won.
Will Friedle
They did.
Janice Torres
Yeah. So we got to eat the bunny rather than the bunny eating us.
Will Friedle
Do you get. Are you to the place where you're like, up through three hours earlier and taping the eggs to, like, magical places and things like that?
Janice Torres
Oh, no, absolutely not. I don't know if you've met me. I don't put in a whole lot of effort.
Will Friedle
Okay.
Janice Torres
I sprinkled eggs in very obvious places. I mean, they're five and three.
Will Friedle
Yeah, that's true.
Janice Torres
And. And then we had like an 8 year old.
Ryder Strong
How many eggs are we talking?
Janice Torres
140? No, it was too many eggs.
Will Friedle
You seriously hit 140 eggs is maybe.
Janice Torres
Taking it too far. A lot of them were just out in place.
Ryder Strong
You weren't just exaggerating when you said 140?
Janice Torres
No, no, there were somewhere between 140 and 160 eggs and we all them for. No, not just. Are you kidding me?
Will Friedle
You realize in this day and age, that's $3,000 worth of eggs?
Ryder Strong
Hold on.
Janice Torres
They're not eggs.
Ryder Strong
They're plastic eggs.
Will Friedle
Real eggs.
Ryder Strong
But still, what do you do with them? Okay, okay.
Will Friedle
Wow.
Ryder Strong
We didn't take a step back, cuz, like, my brain just is like a hundred forty for two kids. That's like eight hours of them looking for eggs. That's like. Are they getting paid for this? No. And I guess they are. They're finding jobs.
Will Friedle
Yeah, they're getting.
Ryder Strong
They're getting chocolate, candy and money in it. Okay, how many. How many how. How big of a family?
Janice Torres
Okay, so there were a total of six kids. One of them is four months old, so.
Ryder Strong
Oh, my God.
Will Friedle
Come on.
Ryder Strong
This is not getting that much better.
Will Friedle
It's not a kid finding eggs. Come on. If you can find the kid, you're happy.
Janice Torres
So there were a hundred and. Let's say 150 eggs for five kids.
Will Friedle
50 eggs. But they're not real eggs.
Janice Torres
No, they were not real.
Will Friedle
I grew up using real eggs. Hard boil eggs and then you dip them into the colors and then you paint them and you do everything. That's why you do it.
Janice Torres
And then what do you do when you find them? You just eat a hard boiled egg.
Ryder Strong
Yeah. Hold on to a hard boiled.
Will Friedle
Yes, we eat them. You eat them and they've got.
Janice Torres
They've got the colonies. No, we would probably do two dozen eggs. So. I'm so sorry. Would you like to come over for Easter?
Will Friedle
Am I wrong? Did we. Did anybody else do real eggs growing up?
Janice Torres
No.
Will Friedle
Nobody did real eggs growing up.
Ryder Strong
What I remember.
Will Friedle
Thank you.
Janice Torres
Didn't you just eat them?
Ryder Strong
We painted some real eggs.
Danielle Fishel
But you wouldn't have decoration.
Ryder Strong
Real eggs.
Will Friedle
Oh, we hunted real eggs. My dad hid all the eggs.
Ryder Strong
They were like a couple real eggs and they would.
Janice Torres
But then we set out for decoration.
Ryder Strong
Right.
Will Friedle
Thank you. Thank you. When you try to find the ones.
Janice Torres
Congratulations. You're surreal egg.
Will Friedle
But I feel like now we're wrong.
Ryder Strong
You won. You got a really. With some pickles.
Will Friedle
And it would be purple from like the dye that you put in. It would probably be horrible for you. Or like it's been sitting out for three days and it's purple. This is the best. Like, oh, my God.
Ryder Strong
Having breakfast.
Will Friedle
Oh, my God. This is where my anxiety is from. It was from eating all the different colored eggs. This is where the mental illness comes from. Oh, my God.
Janice Torres
How did I not know this?
Will Friedle
So they're plastic eggs. You hid plastic eggs?
Ryder Strong
Yes.
Janice Torres
With candy and money inside.
Will Friedle
You got money?
Janice Torres
Yes.
Ryder Strong
Well, I never did any of this, so I. I don't know.
Will Friedle
Okay, that makes sense. Yeah. Yeah.
Janice Torres
This is a very.
Ryder Strong
Yes.
Janice Torres
Easter bunny is too religious.
Ryder Strong
In a basket that we ate.
Janice Torres
Okay.
Will Friedle
That was kind of the same. We did that on the hunt. But I mean, I haven't done it for 30 some odd years. But it was always real eggs that we painted.
Janice Torres
Well, anyway, special thank you to my family and to Jesus for changing Easter so that we could come here. I really appreciate it. We have made it. I'm very excited.
Danielle Fishel
This is both Ryder and Will's first.
Janice Torres
First ever WrestleMania. It's your second wrestling event. You went to Raw.
Will Friedle
Are we gonna address this? Are we gonna talk about it at all?
Janice Torres
Are we talking about what?
Will Friedle
Are we gonna just. Just gonna go on as if you're not wearing face paint? We're just gonna go on as if everything's normal? She's sitting here talking. No. Jesus. Like, seriously, we're not gonna address the fact that your whole face is paint to it?
Ryder Strong
I think Topanga got some work, but we don't talk about it.
Janice Torres
Did you see him? He almost vomited right after I said it. Just keep it quiet, man.
Will Friedle
I think Japan got some work done.
Ryder Strong
Mango might have had some work done.
Janice Torres
Maybe we're just a little bit. Does it look okay? Just.
Ryder Strong
No.
Janice Torres
Do I look snatched?
Ryder Strong
It's fine.
Unknown
Okay.
Janice Torres
Oh, God. It's too late to start.
Ryder Strong
I just brought it out. All right, let's go on. My. My first wrestling event, outside of being paid to. To go to one, which was during Boy Meets World, my only wrestling experience is on Boy Meets World.
Will Friedle
Yes. How do you beat the first one when you're actually in the ring?
Ryder Strong
That was horrifying. Not fun at all.
Janice Torres
Actually should be pretty easy to beat.
Ryder Strong
Yes. Anything. Yes. I'm. And also, like, we just had no idea what was going on. Like, I had never watched. I had never watched wrestling on tv. I never knew, you know, like, so none of it made sense to me. And it was very Jake the Snake.
Will Friedle
In your thing with, like, an actual snake. Were you there with, like, a giant snake?
Ryder Strong
I believe that is true. I don't actually remember it.
Janice Torres
He blocked it out.
Ryder Strong
Yeah. I just remember Ben's face. I just remember Ben's face. And Michael Shea yelling at us, get back in there. And me and Ben just looking at each other. We were in the dressing room or, like, the locker room, like, below the Mighty Ducks arena, just terrified. Just the two of us being like, what is happening? I was so scared. That's all.
Janice Torres
I. So this will be a lot less scary tomorrow. You're. There will not be any terror. It's just gonna be God.
Ryder Strong
If anybody, like, drags us up into the ring or throws a giant snake at you, I will lose it. I will lose it.
Will Friedle
Did you know, by the way, that you and Danielle are slow dancing in.
Janice Torres
The empty ring for my sweet 44th.
Will Friedle
For your sweet 44th that you apparently ran to and then. Yeah. So I don't know if you're aware of that.
Ryder Strong
Oh, my God.
Janice Torres
Is Indy excited? Indy is here with you?
Ryder Strong
You know, I don't think Indy has any idea what's going on.
Janice Torres
Really. Okay.
Ryder Strong
Y. So he. We used to wrestle together during the Pandemic. We started doing wrestling shows for his grandparents. Cause we were all in lockdown together. So for months, he and I would do routines, and we would do announcements. We would have music. We'd come out. And we'd wrestle. Yeah. And he's still into doing stunts. Like, he's very into, like, throwing each other around or, like, now he likes to die and fall into the pool. So he's like.
Will Friedle
He's not dramatic.
Ryder Strong
I know. So I'll be like, you know, I just name a weapon, I use that weapon to kill him. And this is ours. This is hours of our life. Like, you know, be like throwing star, you know, and we do a hold. Yeah. So that started with wrestling. So I'm very. I'm hoping that he will, like, get into it. But we've never watched a single wrestling on event or.
Will Friedle
Yeah, I hadn't either. And it's awesome.
Janice Torres
Just wait till you feel the energy. Wait till he feels the energy.
Will Friedle
Big show. It's very loud. And it should have been called panic attack show for me. Like, going in, big crowd, big popping noise.
Janice Torres
Yeah.
Ryder Strong
But it was great.
Will Friedle
Like, it was really great. Very much looking forward to this.
Janice Torres
So much fun. I'm looking forward to looking at you.
Will Friedle
It's just.
Janice Torres
All right, let's. Let's address the Danhausen in the room.
Will Friedle
Can we. Can we address the Noxime in the room?
Danielle Fishel

Janice Torres
All right, let's, let's address the Danhausen in the room.
Will Friedle
Can we, can we address the Noxime in the room?
Janice Torres
I am, I was gonna say dressed, but I'm not really dressed like him, but I am dressed like a version of him. Danhausen, one of my favorite wrestlers. He is technically a part of aew. He's not a part of the wwe.
Danielle Fishel
He's a part of a different.
Will Friedle
Is that a big.
Danielle Fishel
Is that like a wrestling federation?
Janice Torres
A little bit. Because I don't.
Will Friedle
I'd love for him to be over here at wwe.
Danielle Fishel
Yeah.
Will Friedle
Is there a chance that's going to happen?
Janice Torres
I mean, you never know.
Will Friedle
Okay.
Janice Torres
You never know what could happen. Crazier things have happened. But he's here for WrestleCon and anybody who knows Danhausen knows WrestleCon.
Will Friedle
Wait, what's WrestleCon?
Ryder Strong
That's different from WrestleMania?
Janice Torres
Is that a different thing than WrestleMania convention?
Ryder Strong
Okay.
Danielle Fishel
For wrestling.
Will Friedle
Oh, that's happening right now.
Janice Torres
It's happening right now. Our friend Mick Foley is here. We have to text Mick while we're here. See him either tomorrow or maybe on Saturday. So, yeah, we've got to get in touch with Mick. But yeah, so he's here for WrestleCon and to announce a new wrestling figure. And I have a figure that's a part of Danhausen's wrestling figure. It's Daniellehausen. This came from a convention that we, the three of us were all at. And I said to you guys, after.
Danielle Fishel
After this, I have to stay back.
Janice Torres
For a little bit. I'm just going to. I'm going to do a little bit. I'm going to do a little TikTok with Danhausen, and I put this makeup on, and we took a picture together, and it was very popular. And they asked if they could make me into a wrestling figure.
Will Friedle
Yeah, but it was, like, a year ago, and you still haven't taken the makeup off, which is, like, the weirdest part of the whole thing.
Ryder Strong
She tattooed the makeup.
Janice Torres
I love her face so much. Yeah. So I'm really excited about it. It was super fun. We joined a podcast to announce it. I called you guys up on stage.
Will Friedle
Yeah, you joined the podcast and then called Ryder and I up. Like, oh, we're okay. I guess we're going up.
Janice Torres
Come on up. Did you have fun? Were you mad at me?
Will Friedle
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay.
Janice Torres
Yeah.
Will Friedle
With both. No, I wasn't expecting it. Were you? I don't think Ryder and I were just. We were sitting there like, all right, we're here to support Danielle. And then we're then up there talking wrestling, which is, of course, our.
Janice Torres
Your. Your favorite forte.
Will Friedle
My forte.
Danielle Fishel
But the funny thing is that both.
Janice Torres
Of you, as far as wrestling on Boy Meets World, both of you have way more experience in it than I did. Topanga did not engage as much with the wrestling storyline.
Ryder Strong
You dance in the ring.
Janice Torres
I did dance in the ring, for sure.
Will Friedle
Yeah.
Janice Torres
But you had the storylines. You had storylines where Vader was picking you up over his.
Will Friedle
And then Mick was throwing me all.
Janice Torres
Over and Mick was throwing you around. You guys were actually in the ring. I was. Yeah. You were there. So when people ask about Boy Meets World and those experiences, I feel like you two truly are the experts to talk about what that was like.
Ryder Strong
Yep. I hung out with Vader a lot.
Janice Torres
Yeah.
Will Friedle
Leon was a really good guy.
Ryder Strong
An amazing guy.
Danielle Fishel
Yeah.
Ryder Strong
Really? Yeah. It's funny because I had no idea who he was. I had no idea. I didn't care about wrestling. But for whatever reason, he was just, like. We just bonded. Like, I remember sitting there talking and hearing his stories constantly. I think he was just a great storyteller. Yeah, he had great stories. And I think, like, you and I were into martial arts, which, like, he had. He had experience in. And I remember he was, like, one of the first people to be like, it doesn't matter what. What type of martial art, it always comes down to grappling.
Janice Torres
Yeah.
Ryder Strong
He's, like, the first person to tell. We were, like, rapping. What about, you know, Van Damme? Versus. Yeah, we had, like. It was wushu versus a different mark. And he was like, no, it all comes down to, like, how big you are, and if I can get you. Yeah, we're grappling. And I remember being, like, blown away, and he was just huge. And he had great stories. Yeah. Really, really, really nice guy.
Will Friedle
Yeah, he was a. He was a special guy all the way around and just so easy to work with and fun to work with. And he. One of the greatest compliments I ever had. He. The first time he grabbed me and he lifted me over his shoulder, he'd, like, benched me twice. And then he put me down, he went, you do that better than some of the guys.
Janice Torres
That's awesome.
Will Friedle
And he was. Writer's right. He was just. We'd sit there and listen to his stories because it's one of those things. I know that. I love this. I think you do, too. Where it's like a microworld. It's a world that you don't know anything about. And then all of a sudden, somebody kind of introduces you just a little bit and starts telling you these stories, and then you're going, oh, my God, I can't. This is just. I don't know anything about this world. Nothing. And it's crazy, the stuff he was telling us about wrestling in Mexico and coming from. I think he was a ram, wasn't. He was an LA Ram. He was a football player.
Janice Torres
Yeah.
Will Friedle
And then decided to do that. And he said there were people throwing shoes at him and trying to stab him with their high heels. He got stabbed in the back. He put his own eye back in at one time. I mean, it was like he was telling us stories that were crazy, and we were just captivated. Really Cool. Yeah.
Danielle Fishel
Well, we have got a full weekend.
Janice Torres
Of programming coming for you. We have interviews, some BTS stuff. We're gonna be recapping WrestleMania for you after WrestleMania. We're going to that on Saturday. I have already hit the tables, as you guys know. I've spent most of the day gambling. I arrived early this morning. I am going to go to sleep tonight because we have to start bright and early tomorrow at 7am with interviews. And it is now 11:30, so I am going to sleep. But tomorrow after the interviews, I will be on the tables.
Will Friedle
Do you. My God, is there a stop point? Meaning, like, if you're like, wow, I'm down 10 grand. Do you go, I'm. I'm done now? Or you just keep going?
Danielle Fishel
Of course I have.
Janice Torres
I also have stop points for, like, after the afternoon, like, okay, you know, I'm not, I'm not hitting anything. Maybe I need to take a break. I'm not, I don't have a problem.
Will Friedle
I'm just curious, like, if you like, because you love, this is your place.
Janice Torres
I mean, for example, earlier today we were playing and I was really hot and then I started to cool off a little bit and I said, okay, I'm, I'm going to push a little bit. I'm going to make a little push and see how I do. But if this hand doesn't work out for me, I'm done for the afternoon. And it didn't, it didn't work out. And I didn't say, oh, just one more time. I just said, okay, color me up. And I took out and I, and I cashed out.
Will Friedle
Can I ask you a question? You said you played Texas hold'em.
Janice Torres
I played ultimate Texas hold'em, which is a card game at a table, not in the, you know, poker room.
Will Friedle
So when you're playing that game, is bluffing a part of that game or. It's not.
Janice Torres
It's just. And you're not even competing against the people next to you. You're just competing against you and the dealer. Okay, so it's really, really funny.
Will Friedle
Any of the rules.
Janice Torres
And then I played progressive blackjack and that was really fun too.
Will Friedle
So I'm going to win all my money at the buffet.
Janice Torres
Are you?
Will Friedle
Oh yeah.
Janice Torres
You're getting a massage.
Will Friedle
I'm closing this, this hotel down at the buffet, my friend. Yeah, they're going to be like, massage. I am. I'm getting a 90 minute massage tomorrow.
Janice Torres
I'm so excited.
Will Friedle
I'm going to sit there for 90 minutes just feeling uncomfortable about my own body.
Janice Torres
I can' Isn't that going to be great?
Will Friedle
It's going to be awesome.
Janice Torres
Are you going to Meow Wolf tomorrow?
Ryder Strong
Yeah, Meow Wolf tomorrow. I'm excited. Yeah. I've been to the Meow Wolf in Denver, but I've never been to the one here.
Will Friedle
So I had to look this up when you asked if you were going. It's a interactive art exhibit.
Janice Torres
Oh, yeah, it's so much fun. Jensen and I went a couple years ago.
Ryder Strong
It's just a giant, like, walk through artistic experience.
Will Friedle
When are you going? Well, is it gonna be as long as it's after my massage? I'm game.
Ryder Strong
So much fun, dude. Like, I mean, the one in Denver was insane. I never experienced anything like it. It's like you, you're walking through, I mean, and every Room is different and it's all these. Just crazy. Yeah. And. And with Indy, it's like, so much fun. It's like, through a kid's eyes, but it makes you a kid, too. It's just. It's insane.
Janice Torres
Yeah, it's really fun. I have a great hat from there. It says legit concerns. I love it.
Will Friedle
Okay. I'm hoping we get to do Cirque to something tomorrow night.
Janice Torres
Oh, that's right.
Will Friedle
While you're gambling.
Janice Torres
Yeah. You asked if I wanted to do that. I said I'm going to be gambling. Sorry.
Will Friedle
Please tell me you're going to keep that makeup on the entire weekend.
Janice Torres
I'm not. I'll tell you right now. It's a little hot, It's a little itchy. It's melty, and I want to go to sleep, so I can't wait to take it off. Yeah. Stay tuned for a weekend full of shenanigans.
Unknown
One, one.
Janice Torres
Oh, gosh. What's that?
Ryder Strong
This is you guys.
Will Friedle
We hit $40 million. 40 million.
Danielle Fishel
Oh, wow.
Janice Torres
Wow, look at that.
Ryder Strong
Oh, my God.
Will Friedle
Wow.
Janice Torres
That's so cool.
Ryder Strong
We're over the hill.
Will Friedle
I want to eat.
Janice Torres
O loads.
Will Friedle
No, just o.
Ryder Strong
It's midlife crisis time for now. Right? That's what 40 means. Marine life crisis podcast is gonna buy a motorcycle.
Will Friedle
I was great with the podcast.
Ryder Strong
Maybe an affair. I'm gonna head on over to Tori Spelling's podcast. I'll see you guys later. No big deal. No big deal.
Will Friedle
Fair with the 90210 podcast.
Ryder Strong
Check out 90210. It's fine.

Yu Jo discussing who can benefit from therapy.
I
I think a lot of people think that you're supposed to be going to therapy once you're like, having panic attacks every day. But before you get to that point, I think once you start even noticing that you feel a little bit off and you can't maintain this harmony that you once had in relationships, that could be a sign that maybe you want to go talk to somebody. There's always a benefit in talking to someone because we can all benefit from improved insight about ourselves and who we are and how we behave with other people. So if you're human, that's like a good indicator that you could benefit from talking to somebody.

Title: Pod Meets Wrestlemania: The Intro
Podcast: Pod Meets World
Host/Author: iHeartPodcasts
Release Date: April 18, 2025
In this special introductory episode of "Pod Meets Wrestlemania," the hosts of Pod Meets World—Danielle Fishel, Will Friedle, and Ryder Strong—transition from their nostalgic reflections on the beloved series Boy Meets World to the electrifying world of professional wrestling. This episode intertwines personal anecdotes about Easter traditions with behind-the-scenes plans for attending Wrestlemania, offering listeners a blend of heartfelt storytelling and enthusiastic anticipation.
The episode begins with the hosts sharing their unique experiences of celebrating Easter, highlighting both traditional practices and personal twists. Janice Torres opens the conversation:
"We've done it. I don't know how, but we've managed to do it. My family changed Easter."
(03:05)
This sets the stage for a discussion about evolving family traditions. Danielle Fishel reminisces about Easter baskets:
"I did Easter baskets."
(03:28)
The conversation takes a humorous turn as they debate the merits of real versus plastic eggs in their Easter egg hunts. Ryder Strong raises an eyebrow at the expense:
"You realize in this day and age, that's $3,000 worth of eggs?"
(04:21)
Janice clarifies:
"They're not eggs. They're plastic eggs."
(04:26)
They laugh over the logistics of hiding 150 plastic eggs, each filled with candy, money, and surprises, sharing the challenges and joys of organizing such an elaborate hunt for their six children:
"So there were somewhere between 140 and 160 eggs and we all filled them with chocolate, candy, and money inside."
(04:57)
Will Friedle reflects on childhood traditions:
"Nobody did real eggs growing up."
(05:37)
This nostalgic exchange underscores the blend of old and new traditions that define their modern celebrations.
Shifting gears, the hosts delve into their first experiences with professional wrestling and their excitement for Wrestlemania. Janice Torres excitedly announces:
"This is both Ryder and Will's first WrestleMania. It's your second wrestling event. You went to Raw."
(07:01)
Ryder Strong shares his apprehensive memories:
"We were in the dressing room... just terrified."
(08:33)
Janice discusses their interactions with wrestling personalities, including the enigmatic Danhausen:
"I'm going to do a little TikTok with Danhausen, and I put this makeup on, and we took a picture together, and it was very popular."
(17:31)
Danielle Fishel humorously remarks on maintaining their wrestling personas:
"She still hasn't taken the makeup off."
(17:56)
The conversation highlights their camaraderie and the fun challenges of immersing themselves in the wrestling world. Ryder Strong nostalgically recalls bonding with wrestler Leon:
"He was an amazing guy. Really nice."
(19:01)
Will Friedle adds depth to their experiences:
"He was a special guy all the way around and just so easy to work with and fun to work with."
(20:54)
Their shared stories provide listeners with an insider's glimpse into the wrestling scene and the genuine friendships formed within it.
As the episode progresses, the hosts tease the weekend's programming centered around Wrestlemania. Janice Torres mentions:
"We're gonna dive into this weekend full of shenanigans."
(20:57)
They outline their plans to attend Wrestlemania, conduct interviews, and provide live recaps, promising fans an engaging blend of live-action excitement and personal anecdotes.
"Pod Meets Wrestlemania: The Intro" successfully bridges the gap between the comforting nostalgia of Boy Meets World and the high-energy excitement of Wrestlemania. By sharing personal stories and upcoming plans, Danielle, Will, and Ryder create an episode that is both relatable and thrilling, setting the stage for a series of episodes that promise to deliver heartfelt memories and exhilarating wrestling insights.
