Here's a little clip from this week's Frotcast. You can listen to the whole thing by becoming a Patreon! It's worth it!Full ep description:"Fear is the mind killer. " - a guy who's about to eat butt. It's finally here, guys. A good Dune movie. This week Matt and Vince have PYAG co-producer Brent Flyberg on the pod to talk Dune and other movies he hasn't seen. But it's still a very good episode, as both Vince and Matt have seen the movie and liked it very much. I'm sure you will like it too. You'll like the episode at least.

Here's a little clip from todays Patreon-only Frotcast episode. It's a fun one, and you can listen to the whole thing by subscribing to our Patreon! So do it now!Description:Good news Frotters, Jane Harrison is back and better than ever. This week, Vince Mancini talks about his experience at the Hollywood premiere for Marvel's The Eternals. No spoilers, so don't snitch on Vince. He respects an embargo, plus Bob Chapek is holding Vince's family hostage. We also talk about true crime podcasts, NFTs, and much more! Have fun!

For the full episode, become a $5 patron at Patreon.com/Frotcast! Howdy, Frot fans! Matt Lieb is off living his dreams on Maui, drinking virgin daquiris and getting his picture taken with parrots like a 10-year-old, but as we know, the Frot sleeps for no one, not even when they're getting lei'd. This week your old pals, comedian Joe Sinclitico and Whoop Dreams star Laremy Legel, are in the virtual Frotquarters to talk about how we're old and nothing works anymore (...societally), and how it sucks that when you become a father you lose the ability to get in fights with local teens, even when they've been very unfair to you. Joe saw the James Bond, No I Will Not Go Out And Die Tonight, so we discuss that, and how we could fix the James Bond franchise. After that, we discuss the latest NFT scandal, with the Evolved Ape NFTs and try to understand what the hell NFTs even are. And whether it counts as fraud if you get ripped off in the act of trying to participate in a Ponzi scheme. Meanwhile, Laremy reveals that he owns NFTs himself, and that he's heavily invested in animals who play in gutters. We also talk Dave Chappelle, and far too late into the show, Joe reveals that he recently became the inadvertent center of a culture war incident and damn near got himself torn apart by an angry mob. In all honesty, that's the way I always assumed Joe would go.One thing I'm annoyed that I didn't say in the show is that I really wish Ben was still alive to make fun of NFTs. Whenever we talk about them I think about how no one I know would appreciate the humor of NFTs like Ben would. As long as you think about Ben riffing on NFTs with us, maybe a little bit of Ben is still alive in our hearts.

Hey all,As you are no doubt aware, we are currently prepping for season 6a of Pod Yourself A Gun, and so while you are waiting we figured we should attempt to coax you into subscribing to the Filmdrunk Frotcast! This episode is available in the free feed but there are also bonus episodes every week on our Patreon. So please sub to the free Filmdrunk Frotcast feed wherever you get your pods and then please sub to the Patreon. You'll love it!-----Time for your weekly dose of content slop from your favorite "movie" podcast, the Filmdrunk Frotcast. This week, Matt and Vince welcome comedian Zack Chapaloni back to the Frot to talk about that New York Times Magazine piece about the lady who donated a kidney and was mad that her writer friends didn't congratulate her enough on Facebook and then sued one of them. It's an amazing story. Also, the boys talk about Venom: Let There Be Carnage which is a movie in which a gay-coded slime monster comes out of the closet only to realize everything he ever wanted was right under his alien smelling organ the whole time. Finally, Matt has a very important message for all progressive organizers out there.

Matt Lieb here with a special Pod Yourself a Gun/Frotcast announcement. On Monday, October 4, at 6pm PST, Vince Mancini, Brent Flyberg and I will be watching and talking over The Many Saints of Newark live on Discord. We haven’t done a live riff episode in a while and this is our first time doing it on Discord so it’s sure to be a fun time watching Vince scream at his computer because of technical problems. I will also be bad at it, but Vince is funnier when he's mad at computers. In the past, our monthly movie riff episode has been exclusively for the $20 patrons but since we haven’t done this in a while and NEVER done it on Discord, for this month only, anyone at the $5 tier or above will be able to watch with us. Once you subscribe to our Patreon, you will automatically be assigned a role on Discord and we are allowing ALL ROLES to watch with us. If you have any technical issues we will try our best to work them out with you. But if Vince can do it, so can you. OK see y’all Monday Cctober 4th at 6pm PST for the Many Saints of Newark live riff.

Do You Believe Sopranos Bus TourFor the final episode of Pod Yourself A Gun season five, writer, podcaster and listener-requested returning guest David J. Roth from Defector Media and The Distraction Podcast chats with Matt and Vince about The Sopranos season five episode thirteen, “All Due Respect.”Somehow during David’s first appearance, we skipped over David’s experience applying for a job as a Sopranos bus tour guide in New Jersey. He didn’t get the job, which he seems fine with, but that’s a real Sliding Doors moment. He probably lies awake on the nights when running a successful subscription-based sports blog feels hard and wonders how different his life would be if he had spent more of his twenties riding a bus to and from Satin Dolls (the real life strip club used for shooting the Bada Bing scenes).David also famously taught Matt how to use autotune, so a significant portion of the audience might be mad at him, but this week’s Cher inspired Bada-B song is, to quote David, “A triumph.”Tell us season five was a triumph in a five-star review on Apple PodcastsEmail us at frotcast@gmail.com; leave us a voicemail at 415-275-0030Support the Pod: become a patron at patreon.com/Frotcast and get more bonus content than you could ever want, AND if you sign up for the Pod Yourself a Shoutout tier, you can bask in the glory of hearing your name on the podcast like this week’s newest members: Hogan’s Heroes and Doc.-Description by Brent Flyberg.

Here's your teaser for this week's Frotcast. You can listen to the full episode on Patreon!DESCRIPTION:What a week for streaming premium HBO content. Joey Avery is back in the virtual Frotquarters talking about being engaged, podcasts about wives, Johnny Depp's cancel culture takes, and Princess Diana movies! Also, Matt and Vince watched both Scenes from a Marriage and Malignant. Well we only talk about Malignant at the end for a little but it's still a good conversation. Real good stuff. Have fun!

Tony and Adriana Come HomeOn the penultimate episode of season five of Pod Yourself A Gun, Matt and Vince are joined by writer and podcaster Chris Cabin from the We Hate Movies Podcast to talk about The Sopranos season five episode twelve, “Long Term Parking.”Chris is our first “affiliated” guest, if you know what I mean. A photo of his father getting arrested ran in the New York Times because Chris comes from a self-described criminal family who ran a book for the Jewish mafia in Pittsburgh. So I’m not saying something bad will happen if you don’t listen to this episode, I’m just saying you have some beautiful ear drums and you should use them while you still have them. God forbid something bad happens to them, but if you listen to the pod, nothing bad will happen to them.In what is possibly the show’s most gut-wrenching episode, we say goodbye to an animal-printed real one. If you haven’t seen the episode yet, first of all what are you doing reading this? Second, stop reading now if you don’t want it spoiled. RIP to our poor girl Adriana. She was so loyal to her man who was so loyal to his capo that she got ulcerative colitis and nearly had a Jerry Lewis moon face for her own wedding. She deserved better. Though her final moments occurred off screen, so you could choose to be one of those freaks who thinks that if a character’s death is not explicitly shown, the character is not dead. You’re wrong and you’re dumb, but you’re sweet. At one point in the conversation, someone calls Adam Levine the Disney+ Dave Navarro, and that itself is worth a five-star review on Apple Podcasts.Subscribe to Pod Yourself A Gun on Apple Podcasts. New Frotcast this week is sans Vince but he will be back next week. Here's a clip where Jason Webb explains the Hitler vs The Devil subplot of the show Preacher. You can listen to the full episode here, on Patreon! Description:Hey all, Vince is off this week taking care of his little baby but don't you worry, he will be back next week to talk movies with all of us. In the meantime, Matt brought our favorite southern gentleman, Jason Webb, back on to the pod to talk Vince's Netflix account, baby stuff, Jason's hacker/lock-picking skills, and AMC's Preacher. Also, Matt tries to explain the Matrix to Jason. Enjoy!
