Our guest I'm going to be talking a little bit about That I said we can't do any spoilers because that's. That was last night. But Sal Amato, his book that he has written is called Hidden Powers and it's about disclosure, of course. So we're going to be talking all about that and how we got interested in the topic and all that. So that's our guest tonight. Just a couple of other things next week, next Tuesday. I'm glad you're here, too. We were just talking about Chicago. That's where you're from, that area and my favorite city. I love Chicago and that whole area out there and, and Sam Moronto is a ufologist, lives right outside of Chicago. Just talked to him via text a couple of minutes ago.

That's right. And you kind of reminded me a little bit of him in some ways. So, yeah, he's a good guy and he's really involved in Mufon and all the talks and things. I did something out there one time and it was. It was a lot of fun. But anyway, I have to ask you. There's a poster of your book behind

He was a good looking guy, I gotta say. So listen, a lot of people have no idea who we're talking about, the Partridge Family. And they still have no idea what we're talking about. The younger generation. But maybe they've seen the reruns. But it was a fun show. And it was based on the cows, I think.

Yeah. That's a whole family. And. Yeah, and I've seen them play a few times. They're a lot of fun. Flowers in her hair. No. Did they do that? I can't remember.

But anyway, fun stuff. How did you get interested in this topic to begin with?

[C]

I was always. I was interested. And even as a kid, from Chariots of the Gods to the Sixth, if you remember the Sixth Sense, that last thing was with Gary Collins, Very Short Limits, Twilight Zone. Anything that just got you curious, made you think me. And I've always been curious and I've always had questions. Even when they were answered, I was like, I still got to get deeper just to be sure and dig my claws into a be sure. And this is a subject that goes on, goes on forever. You go back four or five hundred years, you've got artwork that has celestial things in the sky. Whether they're UFOs, who knows? Crashes. Is that one crash in Texas in 1897 or whatever is where they supposedly.

Them and they gave them a nice burial and everything, had a nice time for whatever they did.

I'm having a luck on that, but I know exactly the one you're talking about. But yeah, they come up with theories about the, the airship. They had this, this type of dir. A small dirigible that had the gas in it blew up. I forget exactly what it was, but they don't really know and it's a unmarked grave, so they'll never. And I guess they figured out where the body was, but the city will not let them, will not let them go. Thank you. The Aurora incident. Yes.

Yeah, that's it. And there was something in 1930, I remember and then you had this other crap, you know, stuff in Russia. It's not a monopoly. We don't have it. Like everybody thought the United States has this. If you think that, that we're the only country that if any of this has happened is the only. We're the only country that has any of this, any of these things. I don't know man. It's a close minded thought. It's not like everybody came from underground, under the water, outer space and said, hey, let's go to the United States because that's where we can get the biggest bang for our buck. No, I'm going to apply human mentality, human thought here and say that's probably not what happened. What happened? I don't know. That's why I'm curious. And that's what, as a writer, when you write, your imagination takes over. And that's what my imagination did. I imagined a bunch of things. I said, okay, when you had mentioned disclosure day, I wanted to go see it just to see what his spin on this was from one writer and see how they spun it. It was interesting. There was a foundation there. My foundation for the book was, was it wasn't really 47, even though my foundation was. That's where the rift began with Truman and Forrestal. Because if you. And all the research that I did, Truman just wanted to get out of DC and go milk his cows. They wanted to go, oh, he's had enough, for the love of God, just get me out of here. And Forrestal wanted, as some of the reports and some of the research that Forrestal wanted all of this stuff to be disclosed to the American. So I used part of that as the foundation in the story. Then I used briefly touched on the July 52 events where the media went bonkers and told, you can tell everybody one thing one day and the next day say oh we made a mistake. And everybody just go, oh, okay, okay, that sounds Good. So in 52, the two weekends in July of 52, you got UFOs or these things flying all over the place and the media reports that thousands of people see it, blah blah, blah, and. And then a day or two later the media is told, this is what it was. It was swamp gas. It was this. So the media says, okay, dopey's, here's what it really was. Go about your day. Everybody goes, okie dokie, sounds good. See, that's where for people like me, I go, oh, wait a minute. I know enough about human nature where you couldn't tell the truth if you wrote it out for a lot of people. And that just makes me curious. So I go do research and I go look at things. And I kept going digging and said, okay, a lot of this is crap. There are a lot of crackpots out there. There are a lot of people who live through Hopeism. They tell you something because they hope it's true and they want you to believe it so you can go fight their war with them. And I don't do that. It's not me. And I had this whole what if? Scenario in my head. Started writing, got deeper and deeper and man, this is going to really make one heck of a movie. So I got hold of a guy to make me a promo, promo trailer about the story. Because I was gonna use the promo trailer as a way to raise funds and maybe make a movie. And there's two obstacles there. One, it's absolutely unrealistic. I don't have that kind of luck. My friend used to call me bad luck slept rock. So I figured, okay, I'm not gonna be able to raise that much money here. But I really love the idea and I love the story. And I'm thinking, man, I gotta get deeper. I wanted to get deeper into it. Not only did I wanna just stop with that, I wanted to go into the future. That's why it's called disclosure from within. And you have an investigator, reporter and a person in Victoria Sterling who works for the wpo, which I patterned after the World Economic Forum wef. And she is the creator of the, of all these, of the systems that all these other companies use to suppress information. How they launch bots out in the system to suppress anything that might present a negative connotation towards them or what they're working towards. And then there's a line in the sand that Victoria Sterling will not cross. So that's how she starts leaking information as a whistleblower to Sarah Moore. And we get into disclosure. And like we were talking, we talked earlier. People will fight over anything. So they become fanatical. The public becomes fanatical. They refuse to believe because we live in a world where you don't even know what to believe anymore. Is it true? So that was the whole idea of the disclosure from Home within is that it has to be so strong and so powerful that you cannot just look at it go. That's a bunch of ooey.

I'm here to discuss the flying saucers. The Air Force interest in this problem has been due to our feeling of an obligation to identify and analyze to the best of our ability, anything in the air that may have the possibility of threat or menace to the United States. In pursuit of this obligation, since 1947, we have received and analyzed between 1 and 2000 reports that have come to us from all kinds of sources. Of this great mass of reports, we have been able adequately to explain the great bulk of them, explain them to our own satisfaction. We've been able to explain them as hoaxes, as erroneously identified friendly aircraft as meteorological or electronic phenomena or as light aberrations. However, there have been a certain percentage of this volume of reports that have been made by credible observers of relatively incredible things. It is this group of observations that we now are attempting to resolve. Our basic difficulty in dealing with these is that there is no measurement of them that makes it possible for us to put them in any pattern that would be profitable for a deliberate, custom sort of analysis to take the next step. We have, as of date, come to only one firm conclusion with respect to this remaining percentage, and that is that it does not contain any pattern of purpose or of consistency that we can relate with any to any conceivable threat to the United States.

That's it for now. So let me just get us back up here. So, yeah, so that just goes to show the 1952 what was happening. It was so crazy. There was so many UFO reports. Everyone was seeing them. It was two weekends leading up to it and then after it as well. 52 was a huge flap year. And so that's why the Robertson panel was put together in 1953, to start the ridicule pattern so we can just stop taking these reports. That was one of the reasons for that. So this is just. I'm just saying this and showed that for someone who's actually more new to the topic that may not know that, that's why I thought I'd show that

it's an interesting topic because you can go down rabbit holes forever in this topic. And so you got to weed out the crazies and the hope, the hopefuls. And I'm interested in just. I wanted to be, but I'm not. I'm not fanatical in the sense where I'm going to believe everything. There are just people out there who want it to be so they will make up things so people will think it is. And that doesn't really. And it doesn't help anything because all you do is if there is a group of people who are suppressing all of this stuff, they're going to use idiots like that to show how the whole. The whole concept was filled with crackpots and lunatics, and that's exactly what they trump it out as the mainstream news. Like when we were talking about Age of Disclosure, that came out earlier, right? Age of Disclosure is not a movie, just like Disclosure is not a movie for guys like you or me. Because a lot of this stuff we already know about. I mean, I researched it when I wrote and I remember a lot of it through history. But agent disclosures, I call it UFO fast track for Dummies. Because for people who don't really follow it, at least if they still have a functioning brain, they might get curious and go, look some of this stuff up. Just tell it when I write it. Look, just be curious. Don't let your brain fall asleep. Don't let somebody who you think is your guy tell you what to think. They don't know anything more than you do. Go figure it out. Get curious. And that's what I did. I got really curious about the subject and I had ideas in my head and I said, okay, let me tie that into this. And, oh, that Would be cool if I tied that into this. It's an imagination. And I do have some genuine thoughts on a lot of this stuff, and I've already shared some of them. I think it's obvious that I think we're being lied to, but I could be wrong, too. I'm not willing to go to war with people over it because we don't know. And I'm not that fanatical, and I'm not a tribalistic kind of guy. I don't go surround myself with a bunch of people who only think like me. So I can feel good when it

comes to the thoughts of movies and things like that. You're right about that. When I do, I do. Sometimes I speak at conferences, sometimes at UFO conferences, and sometimes like I have coming up, I'm going to be speaking at a public library up in New Hampshire. They're doing a big Betty and Barney Hill thing, then the Exeter incident. And so I'm going to like the public library. And in a case like that, it's basically UFOs 101 for people who have not paid attention to that or have some interest in it. But you have to gear your talk. And that's one of the things I said last night about Disclosure Day. He can't gear that movie. It would be a bust if he geared that for people just about UFOs. He had to gear for everyone, interest for everyone, and make it what he could out of it by adding some of the truths.

Yeah, I enjoyed it. Yeah. I thought it was a little slow. I'm a fast, quick kind of pace guy. I like to move things along. But honestly, I'm a Colin Firth as an actor. I think Colin Firth is a great actor, and I don't think he's ever done a bad. Even while he was in a bad movie, he was still the best part of the movie. And Emily Blunt did a great job in that. And I've tried. I have tried so hard. I've had really serious discussions, me and my dog and. Look, can you just come and. There was another idea about the book. When I wrote the book, I said, oh my God, there's no way out of this mess down here on Earth. There's only two ways out of this. Either insert your deity of choice or don't offend anybody. Your deity of choice comes down and says, look, you people have got it all wrong. Or you get an alien who comes from either space, another dimension, or underwater and says, hey, you got it all wrong. This is the way you have to do it. And when I wrote the book is, okay, people have no. They have faith in things, but they have no point of true reference. There's no true reference to point to. To say, okay, yeah, I guess I probably shouldn't do that. I have to do it this way. Because we all have our own beliefs that are based on how we've and programmed and conditioned through who we've come up with through the years. And it's very hard for people to get out of that mindset and jump out of what they've been conditioned to believe. So a lot of people refuse to believe this and they think it's. It's a religious thing. I don't think this has anything to do with. I'm Catholic. I don't think this has anything to do with religion. I just don't. I think this has got something to do that's something completely different in the main town. Be nice. Don't be mean. I'm like, look, even God got mad enough twice to wipe out the whole planet. Take it easy with this insanity. So I really came at it from just a curious little kid's point of view. When I wrote this, I like a little kid. I was giggling at times when I was writing. I was like, this is kind of cool. And then there were times like, oh my God, this person is just disgusting. God, I love him.

So we're going to talk about that, the theme of the book. We're going to be talking about other things, of course. I always try to make sure that people don't feel like it's an infomercial for a book or anything like that. So that's why we're going all over the place here. Here's what I was doing. So I was writing a animated show called Bakers and the Burps, which is getting picked up for a vertical drama platform. I wrote. I'm writing that. And at the same time, I started laying out hidden powers, disclosure from within. And this is November, December, January 24, going into 25, coming into 2025. So it don't look Bakers in the burbs. And I'm still. I'm still looking at all these stories about UFOs, and I'm like, I remember that. Yeah, I remember that. And I'm so fed up with how screwed up everything is. And I also was in D.C. for seven years as a lobbyist, so I saw a lot of crap that didn't make any sense. And all of that went into my therapy, as I call it. It's therapy. Writing is therapeutic, and it really helps control your anger management issues. If I can write it out, I'll be mellow and I could calm down. So I started really getting serious in about January of 2025. Wrote all the way through the year. I probably had about 25, 30 edits changed. It didn't like this, got rid of this, got rid of that. And I kept. I would give it to my mom. My mother was in the entertainment industry. My wife would read it. I had what they call beta readers. I had about 70 beta readers. And I said, look, whether it's good, don't be nice to me. If it sucks, just tell me it sucks. I don't want you to hump my leg and tell me how great it is. If you don't like it, let me know. So everybody liked it. Some people said, I just don't care about UFOs. I said, or I just don't care about disclosure. Whatever that disclosure says, okay, fine, whatever. That's cool. Great. But the people who really liked it, it was at least 60% of the people who read it were fans of the stuff. Anyways, so my mom got really ill about October of last year, and she never got a chance to read the. The final version of it. It passed away. Thank you. She passed away on New Year's Day. And I I was going back and was hard because I'm doing. I'm already doing pre promo for the book. I'm looking for an agent. I don't know where. I get a call from a publisher who wanted. Who had seen the trailer. And there's another thing for people who think trailers for your books. You never know who's going to see your work somewhere. As a writer, it doesn't hurt to market. I don't care where it is. Get it out there. If I was fortunate, a publisher saw one of the trailers, asked if she could see the manuscript. The first 30 pages or whatever it was, sent me an NDA. I sent her what she wanted. And next thing you know, she says, look, this is. Thank you. Yeah. The next thing you know, just says, look, this book has to be published. I want to publish this book. I said, okay, great. I'm thinking to myself, God, I hope this lady's for real. Because, you know, there's a lot. There's a lot of, like I said, crackpots, crazy people. You don't know. You just don't know. And I looked in and I said, oh, God, she is real. And she's a wonderful spirit. She's a wonderful human being who's been tremendously helpful. Because I've never published a book before. I'm an actor. I've done tv, I've done commercials, I've done voiceover work. I did Second City, I did Stand Up. But it does, you know, it doesn't mean that I'm pigeonholed into those things. I was in streaming. I was online streaming 30 years ago. I worked with Hulu and their development work with Roku, who just sold themselves for $22 billion. I would like a little bit of that Roku writing. When I get in that zone and when I get a subject like this, especially a subject like this, I really get into it. And I spent a good part of the entire year last year knee deep writing it, rewriting it. And I'm very happy with the way it came out.

So let me ask you this. So you've been paying attention, obviously, what's happening out there and do you feel like we're on the road to something or do you think this is status quo as it always seems to happen, the two steps forward, one step back type of situation.

[C]

To avoid hopeism, like I always speak about, I'm going to liken it to this. Back in the early 80s, country music hit the pop charts. For a while, a year or two, everybody thought, oh, God, country music can Take over pop music forever. He had Islands in the Stream with Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton, Eddie Rabbit, I Love A Rainy Night and Driving My Life Away. And then you had lady by Kenny Rogers. So it was a span of two years where country music was really starting to hit the pop charts. This stuff is really starting to hit to pop mainstream now. I hope that something comes of it, I hope it doesn't wind up like that. Country music in the early 80s where it was like a star, it was like woo. And then it just fizzled out. I hope that they're onto something here to get to a, to get to some kind of truth. Because I don't care where you stand in life, where you're at in life anywhere in the world. Unless you're just really a radical crazy lunatic. Truth is what you see, truth is what you want. How do you live your life if you don't know what truth is? And I think a lot of people are looking for some kind of some truth and you can't BS yourself. You can't just sit there and look. You gotta really gotta think about it and dig in and then worry, wonder, okay, who's telling me the truth? What is their agenda? We live in a world you can't trust anything. It's sad. It's so sad. And when I wrote this, I wrote it in that manner where you don't know, you don't know what to trust, who to trust. Because it's life. It's our experience today, it's what we go through today. And too many people become fanatical and then they get involved with a tribe and then they stay closed minded and they're not willing to open that mind to a different thing, a different possibility. I hope, go ahead. I hope that this is a year where something finally somebody's got it. Somebody's got to do a massive data dump that you can't suppress that it has to come out. And then the question is, okay, now it's there. Are we gonna believe it or are we gonna keep fighting each other like we always do?

That's right. It's very. Everything's polarizing, including this topic. You know, I mean no matter what is written, someone will write something rather mean. I stay off the social media part of this. I posted something on X a while ago and got into a big situation. I don't want to get into it but I mean I basically lost a friend who did something not cool at all. And it's kind of sad when that happens, but so I've Always wondered where this will go and how far it will. What are they going to let out there when it comes down to what do they know about what is really going on? And I think I've said this many times on this show and people are probably tired of it, but I don't think they have the full picture. And because they don't have the full picture, then how can they really say that they can protect us from whatever it is if they need to?

I'm a 5050 guy, Martin, and that's a good possibility. Just like I've told people, too. Hey, maybe this stuff really is bad. Maybe some of this stuff, maybe they are doing it to protect people and protect the world. I don't know. I'm not willing to go one way or the other because I just don't know. So I'm not willing to start a fight with somebody and argue over something I don't know. But some people want to because they're behind the keyboard and that's cool. That's fine, you want to. But this is part of the problem, too, in our life today is that people could take swipes at everybody. They all think they know what they're talking. I know what this is. I know what he's about. I know what he's thinking. That's okay, come say that to my face so I can drop kick you in the throat and then we can settle the fight. See, they want to fight on online and nobody, it's a problem. Nobody gets punched in the mouth anymore for being ignorant. And it drives me nuts because they, I see comments, even like comments on the show that you don't know anything about what these people are talking about and yet you already assume to think you know everything about that person. It's such a shallow, peasant mindset. It drives me nuts.

Now I know you've worked in technology, so has that background influenced your view of the disclosure, secrecy and all that?

[C]

Oh absolutely. Especially yeah, when I was writing I used a lot of it. I was online probably aside from the Commodore computer days. I was actually online in 88 when I was a stockbroker I was already online getting candlestick charts. By 90 I was using the Internet going back and forth and importing and exporting vinyl and stuff. And then by 9394 I was working with Cuc Me technology. If people remember Cuc me out of San Diego State, it was just video originally and then it paired up with audio. If you had this other thing you can do the video and the audio. Then real networks came along. Microsoft had Net show, which became Windows Media. We were streaming on real networks. We were streaming even before their G2. Their original was real player. And then there's. They were charging people for their real server and then you had to pay for how many streams. I was in bed with them very early. Same thing with Hulu at the. And, and Roku. Roku wasn't even a streaming company yet. The Roku was building little AM, little Internet radio tuners. If you go back to 2006, I think it was 06. That's when I was working with them in the development because I had a. I had a streaming company. We're doing about 7 million people a month, month listeners online. So I used a lot of that technology and a lot of understanding a lot of that know how, how this, how to, how to get the signal and how to get how the algorithms work. I was very beginning stages of algorithms back then, but how they work today. I utilized a lot of what I knew and I fudged a little here, there made up some stuff and. But I did. I had to do some research just to see if how much was really going to be possible for disclosure. So I used a lot of that technology stuff from the past to write it.

I see. So when you were doing the research actually for this book, was there any part of it that kind of changed your worldview or your view on things that you discovered by writing this book?

[C]

No, everything that I discovered was everything I assumed. And again, it's, it's. I was raised a certain way and I look at things and. But then I would jump out of my mindset and then I look and I go, yeah, again, if this is a finger, it's still a finger.

No matter.

[C]

You can't change what it is. So when I would look at something like when you were talking about 52 in July, all right, these people saw something, everybody was told what it was and then a day later they're told that's not what it was. And they saw it for themselves and they were told this is what you should believe. And then you don't believe it. I can't get with that kind of mindset. I can't. When I see my finger, I know my finger is a finger. That's all you're not going to tell me that's my car, it's my finger. So I didn't really learn. It's about human nature because I just, I have this outlook on it. The only thing I did learn was some pretty cool stories. Like the Betty and Barney Hill thing, I had heard about that. And I'm thinking to myself, holy cow, this poor guy and this lady. If that happened, what would be the purpose of them to just come out of nowhere and lie in 1960, 61.

61, yeah.

[C]

Mixed race couples. Hey, come, I need some attention. No, probably not Something. What they call, they're called experiencers, People who experience something, I don't think they're all lying. Something, these people experience something and you can't just dismiss that. Especially when they were. When you look, when, like when I read, when I started reading more and more about Benny and Barney Hill, it's. My God, their story never changed. It was the same story every single time they were asked. No matter what time, what decade or what year it was so something, there are things there that just make that something's gotta be there. I just don't know what it is. But there's something definitely there. What it is, I don't know. So I used my imagination and I wrote a story about it.

And a lot of what you wrote may actually come true, right? May be true in certain ways. So you had to kind of parallel a lot of things that you knew were happening, I would imagine. Is that what you did?

[D]

Yeah.

There's a lot of hopeism too, because it goes from dark to light. And it's really about, it's ours. It's how we live now, how we live today. The issues, the things we fight about, why we fight about them. And half of us don't even understand why we're fighting. Most people don't even know what they're talking about. They just listen to some idiot that they think is wonderful and they parrot them all day long. They have no clue what they're babbling on incessantly about. It's ridiculous. And they. And then they all surround themselves with like minded idiots and go, yeah, we know what it is. No, you don't know nothing, man. You know exactly what they told you and that's all you know. And it could be the exact opposite and you'll still never admit it, ever. And that's how I wrote, that's how I wrote a lot of the stuff in Hidden Powers. It's a lot of that insanity that goes on in the story.

Yeah, there's a. I think there's a saying and it's an old saying as way back with books and newspapers and all that I think it says people read what they believe, and that's kind of what's happening. Now you must have also thought about, because a lot of times when people are talking about disclosure, they think it will disrupt things. And I personally, I don't. I think it would be. It would have to be something that would be really harmful, possibly harmful to us before there'd be a lot of disruption and. But I think that there may be various religious beliefs in the world that would have a problem with it. But I do think that I don't think the world would collapse. I feel like we're. Some people are saying we have a soft disclosure now and it's kind of getting people putting our toe in the water and kind of getting people used to the thought of it. So what is your thoughts on all that?

I think it's like, what do they call that? Managed dissent. It's being managed think based on my experiences with, with humans, it seems like a managed descent. I could be wrong. Don't know. However, I think that. I think we would go through a bit of a rough patch in certain areas. A bit of it. It's possible. I don't know. But some, some people may not just may not react to it very well. I don't think it's going to be the end of the world. I think like anything you got to go through the mud. So there's gonna be certain areas in certain pockets where there's quicksand and we won't have a monopoly on that here in this country. It'll occur in other countries. It could happen in New Zealand, it'll happen in Australia, it could happen in Belarus, it could happen in Nepal, I don't know. But humans are a finicky bunch. As Marlon Brando said in the formula, they're a paradox and a dangerous animal at times, human beings.

Now you mentioned you worked on, did you say you worked on Wall Street?

[C]

I wasn't on Wall Street. I was, I was a stock broker years ago.

Yeah. My question is, so would you think that there would be a financial collapse?

[C]

It's an interesting. You know what, Martin? I could flip a coin on that one. I think initially you're going to have, I think maybe what we should call those whipsaws. I think you're going to see whipsaws. If you're a day trader and you're on the right side, you're going to make a. You're going to blow right past Elon Musk. If you're long S&P 500 contracts, if you're way out the money and then they hit in the money, you're going to be hit by your own planet. I think you're going to see a lot of whipsaw and a lot of volatility. Anything that is earth shattering for lack of a better term, we'll change the

market and I'll recover. Usually, yeah.

And as a trader, and I don't mean just like a day trader, but if you're. There's two kinds of investing. You invest for the long term, there's a couple different ways. You invest for the long term. So you don't care where you get in. That's silly too. You should always try to get in even on the dip. You don't wanna buy at the top, you wanna try and buy at a dip at a low end. And if you do buy too high, then you could come back in and you can DC dollar cost average your way in to lower your purchase price. But then there's also date traders are like good, I'm gonna buy a thousand shares, I'm gonna buy 500 calls. I'm gonna try and make a teeny out of each point. So if you make a few thousand dollars a day, you're good. There's all kinds of different ways that you can utilize the market for your benefit. Most people look at it from the long term, especially now that we're at the highs. We're around 52,000 on the Dow. The S and P is at a record high. So the 401ks and the pensions gotta be in pretty good shape for people right now. But if you get a story like that you're gonna be all over it. So if you're a trader. Yeah, it's gonna be a whole bad. I got. I just want to get my orders filled. If I could just get in on some of this, it'll be great.

Yeah, it's funny what I was just having a conversation earlier with about money. It's something that we all agree on, otherwise it wouldn't work. It's a strange concept how it all is something we agree on, but it's not really a thing. That's a bizarre. It's a power of some kind that we agree on. But anyway, this has been a real pleasure.
