Hello, this is Martin Willis, your host and I'm here with UFO Jack. Jack, thanks for joining me. Here the home town of Betty and Barney Hill, Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Tonight we have filmmaker Darcy Weir. He's joining us. He's going to be discussing the documentary Psychic phenomenon. Explore the mysteries, connection between UFO encounters and remote viewing and all that type of thing. Plus we're going to be talking about a whole bunch more. So please go over and visit podcast ufo.com and you can support the show. If you want an ad free audio experience for $2 or more a month on Patreon. You can see that there. And so while you're there, make sure you check out the hundreds of fascinating historical UFO blogs written by Charles Lear covering all kinds of remarkable things, very historic and all that. This week's is part two boy hit with a paralyzing beam of light from a UFO. I believe that was 1970 and that was in western. No, not Western Mass. That was in the Foxwoods area of Massachusetts. Very familiar with the concert venue down there and everything. So anyway we are going to bring Darcy and thank you all for being here and thank you everyone in chat. It's always good to see everyone here and always appreciate your questions. Now, last week, I think it was maybe the week before I mentioned that I'm considering getting a phone service when I have to get someone involved in screening the calls and things like that. But I want to make sure it's going to work. I think I might try it on. There is a trial basis I can try that on, give it a whirl. But I always like hearing from. We used to do phone calls all the time and really had some great questions from people. And I had also done a couple of just call in shows where listeners shared their UFO sightings and things like that. And anyway, I'm going to bring in our guests. Hey, Darcy.
Darcy Weir
Hey, how's it going?
Martin Willis
How are you? Welcome. Good to have you.
Darcy Weir
Right on. Yeah, happy to be back.
Martin Willis
And as always, it was fun seeing you out in. At Contact in the Desert. That's the last time that we saw each other and always fun to be around. And so. And you're a busy guy, you're doing all kinds of things. And I just want to know this particular movie we're going to talking a little bit about what. How did you come up with that? What was the. How did you get that idea to begin with?
Darcy Weir
I was actually talking at the time with Tracy Dolan and she was telling me. I approached her after she did her presentation at Contact in the desert, I think 2023. And I said I wanted to tell a story about the whole psychic history and the Russell Targ a bit and touch on all of these people that he connected with through the Stargate Pro project. Stargate. And she said, I'm friends with Russ Targ. You can go and interview him if you want. Just reach out to him and tell him what you want to talk about. And so it just kind of went from there. She actually connected me with Kim. And then I saw Paul Smith at I think the same Contact in the Desert and interviewed him for the documentary. So I interviewed her two years in a row. And yeah, I started shooting it in 2023 and it finally came out not too long ago. But it's got all these people that. Okay, it got all these people that were part of the Stargate project and Chris Ramsey was kind enough to take part in it too. And he did a really good docu series on YouTube about his research into the same sort of stuff.
Martin Willis
He's an interesting guy and I really enjoyed meeting and talking with him. And he did a magic Trick, basically, I have to say he kind of did it for me because I told him what my friend did in California, explained. And I said, how is that even possible? And he says, come to the show tomorrow night. And so he did that exact same thing, which I still don't understand how it can be done. I don't need to go in that this show about UFOs, but I thought that was pretty kind of him to do that. Nice guy and very, very talented person. Super talented, yeah. And like when someone like him gets into the UFO world, he's done such a great job. I've watched a couple of his videos and it's class act, really good. We just do the shows with people like you. We're not, we're not that type of class, but we have 700 somewhat, almost 800 shows now that people can look through still on YouTube. But anyway, speaking of that, you have a lot of movies and. Jack, do you had a question?
Jeff
Yeah, Darcy, I always like to ask people, and I don't think, I don't. I can't recall your origin story, so forgive me if you might have already covered it in a previous episode, but I got you started on this topic. I always like to ask people because it's, it's a topic that has a lot of stigma around with it, as I'm sure you're aware. And sometimes you kind of have to put yourself out there and I like to maybe you've had your own UFO experience and that's how you got looped into it. Or did you maybe pick up a book one day that sparked your interest? You just thought it was a fascinating topic. How did it all begin for you?
Darcy Weir
Yeah, so I was in my early 20s when I just gotten out of university and I was fascinated by this story of Phil Schneider who spoke about building underground bases and then getting into this firefight with an alien race underground. And that kind of piqued my interest at the time in the UFO subject and what could be hidden from the public like the COVID up, the UFO cover up, or as Bassett calls it, the truth embargo. And I started researching that. I reached out to all these people just via email that were posting his stuff or were saying that they were affiliated to him before he died. I ended up getting in touch with Cynthia Dreher, his late ex wife, and did my very first interview with Richard Dolan for that film. And I made my very first documentary in 2012 on underground based theory and the Phil Schneider story. I think back in 2012 I was probably Very naive and believed all kinds of stuff that today I, I'm reluctant, I'm a little bit more skeptical because I think frankly the UFO field is very full of opportunists, con artists and jerks.
Jeff
Wow, you heard it here. That's so funny.
Darcy Weir
Yeah. But at the starting of my journey, my mind was just open to everything and I believed almost everything. And I was going through David Grush's ontological shock. I kind of felt like reality was somewhat a lie. But these days I am interested in the sociological perspective of the community. And I did the Dark alliance series which kind of highlights some BS that was spread and continues to be spread today. And if people watch my doc and then go watch what Michael Sala has been promoting recently with selling that Amy Eskridge is still alive, she faked her death like Elvis or something, it kind of shows what I'm talking about here. We've got a problem, right, where people are taking ideas that were being lied to and then creating their own fabrications and lying to us.
Martin Willis
You mean just Schneider?
Darcy Weir
And you could say Phil Schneider is a perfect example of that because. Yeah, I didn't know at the time, right at the time, at the time I did not know that everything he was saying was, you know, from some testament to, to, to truth. I just thought it was a fascinating story and I documented it as best as I could.
Martin Willis
Yeah.
Darcy Weir
But yeah, in hindsight, he was just another one of these people that was going to conferences, UFO conferences and speaking so confidently about this fantastic reality of UFOs and stuff and it enamored people. I think that is still a sociological phenomenon that's happening today. And in Dark alliance the Next Generation. Richard Dolan starts the film by talking about that sociological phenomenon and how when somebody steps on stage and they've got a crowd in front of them, if they speak with such confidence and they speak about something that's very interesting, it seems the crowd kind of checks their BS detector at the door and they end up kind of falling prey to stardom or something.
Martin Willis
So I've actually seen that in person. I have to tell you, I was at.

Martin Willis
I'm going to leave all names out of this. I'm even the conference name but I will tell you because it was friends involved but the most down the rabbit hole possible person was speaking the most bizarre, absolute bizarre out there. Things that I don't know what you'd have to do to believe what this person was saying. Standing ovation. The most, the the most applause of anyone at the event. So I do think that people, I think a lot of people feel like they need an escape to some type of reality and it works for them and I can't judge them. But I just can't believe that that's how a lot of people get sucked into cults and things because they want something to believe in and someone absolutely hope they get some hope. Here's a question for us already from Christopher Alexander. Thank you for your question. Can you compare and contrast your perspectives and conclusions from your start to now? And the same question for Dolan. How have views changed?
Darcy Weir
Well, yeah, I think the Phil Schneider story is a good case in point. Right. I was completely sold on that being true. The very first incarnation of the documentary, I was crappy and it arrived on YouTube but it racked up 4 million hits almost and I knew that people were interested in this stuff. Fast forward. Years later when I released it and got it on Amazon prime and these other platforms professionally redone, I put in at the end of it. Not everything Phil Schneider said was true because I wanted to put in that caveat near the end of the documentary that you got to check yourself you got to kind of look at everything and be skeptical and verify things that you can to be factual before you just go down the rabbit hole completely. But looking back, I was convinced there was reptilian lords and all kinds of David Icke esque things ruling this planet. And I think what that really means to me these days is that people become so paranoid and in fear of the powers that be, like the plutocracy or the wealth, the 1 percenters that run the planet. And they start instead of they're humans instead of anthropomorphizing them, which A hard word to say.
Martin Willis
Yes, yeah.
Darcy Weir
Instead of doing that which the Greeks would do to animals or beasts, they turn the 1 percenters into animals or beasts. Right. And when you think reptilian, you think the most evil or opportunistic and, you know, monstrous in terms of characters. So I think people become so paranoid and in fear of that class that may truly be running the show on this planet and they turn them into reptilian overlords. Right. So I don't think. I don't believe that there's reptile aliens out there. Maybe there are, but I. There's no proof. Right.
Martin Willis
I know I have a hard time with all the different classes like the mantis and the tall blondes and all that, but I don't know, I try to keep an open mind, but it's kind of hard to go down that road. But anyway, here's another. Hey, Mendy's here. Good. Welcome, Manny. Good to see you in here. Can you describe your production and editing rig?
Darcy Weir
Sure. I've got a bunch of DSLRs that I take with me on the road and have in my suitcase. So I usually have two 4k DSLR cameras. I have a lavalier mic or two depending on how I get that set up. I have a audio recorder like a Tascam that captures the audio of the conversation independently from the cameras capturing the video. And I have kind of gaming laptops that I edit on. And then I have a super high powered desktop you would call a workstation that has 90, I think 6 or 98 gigs of DDR4 RAM and a RTX 3080 Nvidia graphics card so I can edit quickly 4K footage and add effects and animations and illustrations to tell UFO stories.
Martin Willis
So you spent a lot of time and I don't know what language you were speaking, but that was interesting. Now there's a couple of questions here from T bone. Thank you. Darcy. How do you feel about. How do we all feel about Dr. Phil and Neil DeGrasse Tyson getting involved. I have my comments about Neil Dr. Phil haven't really looked into, but I saw Bryce and Chris Miller was on with an interview with him recently. I just saw it posted somewhere. So I guess the questions aimed toward you. How do you feel about it?
Jeff
Yeah. Tell us.
Darcy Weir
Yes, I think Neil DeGrasse Tyson was interesting because he flipped. He was a debunker of UFOs for
Martin Willis
years, was mean to us.
Darcy Weir
He was pretty rude. Yeah. He. He basically for sure. He made fun of people that believe were not alone.
Jeff
Yeah.
Martin Willis
Yeah.
Jeff
Without.
Darcy Weir
And I even cover a little bit of that from a film I did called Being Taken, which was about sort of the abduction phenomenon, the history of that Benny and Barty Hill. I interviewed Travis Walton, Kathleen Martin, a whole bunch of different stories in that. And nice. Stanton Friedman's in it and he talks about the debunker side of things. The debun bunkers that came at this subject constantly. And Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Bill Nye, the Science Guy, they were the major media spokespeople that would contest with these theories on cnn, Larry King Live, all. All that kind of stuff. Seeing him flip and seeing Dr. Phil enter the conversation and taking this very seriously, especially Dr. Phil's. He's supposed to be a pseudo psychologist. Right. Because he's analyzing people's behavior on his show and pointing out that they're wrong if they're hurting their mom and stuff like that. I'm thinking of Bhad Bhabi or something when she got blew up on his show. But to see them both enter the conversation to make me shows that they've been read into this by maybe the current political administration and they're being spokes people. Yeah. In my opinion they're being spokespeople to legitimize it in the public eye to the right to that base and to the skeptic scientific community. So you got Neil DeGrasse Tyson, who's like a physicist that said Pluto's not a planet, it's a. Basically a large asteroid. And then you've got the Republican esque psychoanalyst guy. Yeah. Celebrity. That's like saying UFOs are real.
Martin Willis
You know, it's like that's not bad. Not bad. Not bad.
Jeff
That was pretty good.
Martin Willis
Yeah.
Darcy Weir
When you have those two coming to the. To the public and now flipping and saying this is real. I think it's like Trump's administration engaging with these types of influencers to add veracity.
Jeff
Yeah.
Martin Willis
Soften the.
Jeff
The blow.
Martin Willis
The blow of disclosure possibly. That's an interesting way to look at it and I haven't really thought about it in that way, but thank you for sharing that. I did see another question and where
Jeff
did yeah, that was a good take. Darcy. Thanks for sharing. Yeah, there were a couple other good questions in the chat. We're going to try and pull them up real quick. Darcy, there was yeah.
Martin Willis
Oh Phillips. Nice guy. Always emailing me nice comments here.

How do you feel Phil Schneider differs from Travis Walton and Bob Lazaro. That's quite a smorgasbord of people right there.
Darcy Weir
Yeah, yeah. So I think Phil Schneider was like a whistleblower, right? The way that his presentations were put together were that, hey, I worked for the American military on super black budget projects and the military and the government hiding the truth from you about UFOs. And there's all this nefarious stuff. Right. Travis Walton is saying I was abducted by aliens. And Bob Lazar is saying similarly to Phil Schneider, I worked at Area S4 facility near Area 51 on reverse engineering UFOs or UFO tech, the propulsion system specifically. And that the military is involved and so on. So I guess Bob Lazar and Phil Schneider would be more related. Travis Walton being in a famous abductee, very different.
Martin Willis
And I think personally, my personal opinion, if anyone cares to know. Yeah, I think Travis Walter is pretty credible. Yeah, I think for years and years. And I just think he's pretty solid. I don't get the, the feelings that I do about other people's when I, when I'm questioning someone. I just don't question Travis Walton like I do others. I should, I'll put it that way.
Darcy Weir
That's fair. What it comes down to for a lot of people is belief. And the facts are not always right there. Right. Recently I did speak to a guy named Steve Pierce, Steven Pierce.
Martin Willis
Oh, yes, I know who he is. Yes.
Darcy Weir
And he claims the whole incident regarding Travis Walton was fabricated.
Martin Willis
I know, yeah, yeah, I know all about that. Yep.
Darcy Weir
So he says that if you go back and you look at the. I can't remember what the tabloid magazine was at the time.
Martin Willis
Esquire, I think.
Darcy Weir
No, Esquire is not tabloid. That's still. That's around now. That's like a high men's fashion magazine.
Martin Willis
But it was, I can't remember the name of it.
Darcy Weir
Something like, you know, where you see Dracula and an alien baby on the front cover of. And at the time they had a contest for. They were giving away thousands of dollars and this is the 70s to the best UFO alien story. And if you go back and you find that.
Martin Willis
All right, I'm going to just stop you, though. Darcy, I understand where you're going with this and where. I know where Ste has gone with this and all this, but it doesn't all add up and all line up. He. Travis Walton was missing. There was, everyone was involved. There was lie detectors taken. They thought they murdered him. So that doesn't fit into the whole thing that Steve Pierce is trying to say. And I'm sorry to. To jump in and interrupt you, but I know all about Steve Pierce. I have met him and I. Yeah,
Darcy Weir
I'm just saying his side of the story, that's all. I'm not saying that Travis made this up.
Martin Willis
Yeah.
Darcy Weir
I'm just saying that there's a picture from that magazine that they won thousand dollar checks for The UFO story. So that was the only thing that I heard about recently. He was missing. They passed the lie detector test, you're right. So there's two sides to that story. Right. And some people believe and they don't want to hear other sides to the story. Right.
Jeff
That's true.
Martin Willis
So we had always.
Darcy Weir
But yeah, that, that just answering your, your friend Philip's question there, that's, that's just interesting stuff I've learned recently.
Jeff
Darcy, I wanted to ask. I saw a post on X recently where somebody was saying, sharing an opinion, where the UFO topic is one of the few topics where people don't actually focus or give preference to individuals who have actually had experiences or UFO sightings themselves. And we put these government spokes, persons and physicians, celebrities and stuff above all else as authorities on the topic, whereas we're not working directly with the people who allegedly experience the phenomenon themselves. As a filmmaker, how do you approach that in your own work and what are your opinions on that opinion as a whole, if that makes sense?
Darcy Weir
Yeah, I think the experiencers are the other side of this whole story that should be focused on. I did do the being taken story. I took the abduction phenomenon very seriously. And experiencers are all across the world. It's not just the United States.
Jeff
True.
Darcy Weir
There's the Rosnev incident in Russia. There's Westall 66 in Australia, Ariel phenomenon in Africa, Southern Africa. You've got the Virginia incident in 1996 in Brazil, it just go Shag harbor in 1970s in class. Yeah. Six, 1967 in Canada. Right on the east Coast. So it's like large amounts of people have seen UFOs sometimes said that they've seen the occupants. If one of these cases is real, it's a complete paradigm shift to our reality. And yeah, it's important that we hear the experiencers stories. But with regards to the military men or the physicians that say they brief presidents, I think it's still important that we have most of the time experiencers are going to be civilians. Right. Like your teachers, your school teachers, your delivery. Yeah, milkman, whatever. And then you've got military brass that are saying they've also seen this. So I don't think we should discount one or the other. I think different layers of society should all be speaking to this reality to give veracity that it's real or not. Right. You shouldn't say that the military men and the GMAN that's coming forward and saying this is real. You shouldn't poo poo them just because they came from a place of authority. You should listen to what they have to say so we understand the full story of this phenomenon. That's my opinion.
Martin Willis
Thank you. Here's another question from Mandy. Do you believe that much of the modern UFO lore likely emerged from Cold War information operations and that the Legacy program is nothing more than a proven CI mission to protect the sensitive assets?
Darcy Weir
That's an important theory. If you look at the idea of the TR3B, for example, which is something we know the TR3A existed. This was a vehicle produced by, I believe, Lockheed Martin Skunk Works. Or maybe it was Northrop Grumman. It might have been Northrop Grumman, but that was on the COVID of Popular Mechanics. And it's something that existed, that was tested, that looked like a big black triangle that was flown, but it operated on jet fuel. TR3B would have been something that was much larger, that supposedly takes crew and heavy equipment to space using almost anti gravity technology. It was supposed to be called a magnetic field disruptor. And a lot of anti gravity researchers say, if you talk to Walter Bosley, I hope you should, if you haven't, he points out that the. There were all these breakthroughs happening in aerospace research much earlier than what was being presented publicly. And you talk to Michael Schratt, who says Even in the 19, late 1940s, they were publishing that they had cracked the gravity barrier in certain papers
4 Patriots Announcer
which
Darcy Weir
could allude to they were making strides in anti gravity research, post Manhattan Project and World War II ending. So then you fast forward to people who, people for sure think is a spooky boogeyman in the UFO community. Richard Doty, who says on camera that he would intercept people on behalf of the Air Force Office of Special Intelligence and to get pictures or videos back from them, they would sometimes say, you saw an alien spacecraft. We need that proof. This is a national security issue. And oftentimes people would hand that over, seeding their mind with it being an alien spacecraft. Meanwhile, him knowingly, he knowingly deceived these people. He says this on camera in one of my documentaries called who Saw the Men in Black? And he said the purpose was to make them think it was a alien spacecraft. But really it was something they were test. It was a test flight vehicle. Paul Benowitz, kind of like Paul Benowitz, but he was expanding outside of Paul Benowitz. When he was giving testimony, he was saying that they were doing this to all kinds of people that were seeing secret tech. So, yeah, I think it would be a very sad story if we're, we are alone and all of this stuff is just black project tech that we're being told is alien or non human intelligence. Whatever floats your boat.
Jeff
Yep.
Martin Willis
Here's a question along those lines. Eric Davis, a highly credible, says the government has recovered four types of alien species from crash UFOs, Grays, Nordics, Reptilians and insectoids. Wow, I didn't hear the list. I heard something about that.
Darcy Weir
So yeah, he. That's right.
Martin Willis
Just real quickly, that's a picture of Eric and myself out at Contact in the desert. And he is coming up. He agreed to be on my show. You can look for that coming up at some point. Go ahead.
Darcy Weir
Yeah, I met him at Contact too briefly. He seems like a great guy. I don't see any ill intention or deception in his presentation or the way he speaks. I will say that what that person just posted as a statement could be perception. So where that is coming from is from a congressional presentation that happened when Lou Elizondo. The same like congressional presentation that happened in Washington D.C. i think last year or really early this year. Lou was held herring holding up a picture of crop irrigation circles.
Martin Willis
Oh, yes.
Darcy Weir
So right after that happened, Eric Davis, I believe Tim Gallaudet and Eric Burleson and a couple other people were on this small panel facing an audience and they were getting questions from, I can't remember, like either Anna Paulina, Luna or Luna whatever.
Jeff
But yeah,
Darcy Weir
my mind is scrambled. But what I'm saying is Eric Davis gets asked about the phenotypes of aliens that they know exist. And what he says if you go back and look at that video, he says there's a lot of evidence for what people have claimed to be grays. He says there's a human looking type. People have called it Nordic. Right. Not that they are Nordics.
Jeff
Right.
Darcy Weir
Because Nordics really is something that was invented by the UFO community. And then he says another type that appears to look like a gray but has characteristics of a. What people would call reptilian and another type that also could be considered, you know, insect, like in appearance. In appearance. So he didn't. I don't think he specifically said mantis or anything like that, but he was just saying that there's evidence that there's things that look like this. I don't know. Does that mean that people have seen a Draco reptilian with wings on a ship? Yeah.
Martin Willis
You have a question? No.
Spinquest Announcer
No.
Martin Willis
Okay. Do Mr. Ware, do you have any comment on the occult in Vatican UFO history?
Darcy Weir
Yeah, I don't really. In Terms of occult, I would say that a lot of the UFO community is obsessed with occult. Even UFOs to do with summoning is an occult practice, right? So CE5, that is occult. You are literally. You're performing a ceremony to conjure something. Okay. So when I named my sort of documentary production studio ocal Journeys, the the intention was to point out that we seem to be conjuring these things, right? And I actually reached out to that famous physician ages ago and I said, hey, I'd love to interview you for one of my documentaries. And he said, you have to change the name to your studio before we do an interview or if you're published. I was like, really?

I want to. I do want to tell a story that cannot be verified and unfortunately it cannot verify. I can only go by the person's word. He was on his way to one of the events where they would conjure. And I'm not going to give any names or anything, but it was a well known situation. And he stopped in at a 7:11. And as he was going in the 7:11, he passed by a pickup truck and he saw a drone, a big drone in the back of a pickup truck with all these lights, zip, tied to it, all the way around it. So he went back with a bottle of water and the person, it was a college kid, came out and he Said, so what's this? And he goes, yeah, I'm told to fly this at nine o' clock. And. And he says oh really? And so this guy that saw the truck and was talking to him was on his way to that event and sure enough, at 9 o' clock they saw their UFO. They saw their UFO. I would love to have that a verified story and I will put no names out there and fear that somehow I could get in trouble for saying. But yeah, it's an interesting story though.
Darcy Weir
Yeah, I totally understand the.
Martin Willis
I think I was riding out. I might have been ratting out. Yeah,
Darcy Weir
don't be so nervous, man. Geez.
Martin Willis
Oh yeah, I've had things happen before. So from this show. Oh, interesting that.
Jeff
Anyway, care to share, Martin?
Martin Willis
I'll tell you, yeah. Oh. So have you heard of Amy Eskridge? Talk about the 52s versus the P47s? Do you know what that's about?
Darcy Weir
Yeah, I think the P52s are like a humanoid esque looking alien, but they have let's say larger orbital ocular cavities with much larger like human esque eyes with a pupil and white surrounding it. You can go look up images if you want. Just look up P52 alien. Ray.
Martin Willis
Boy, you know your stuff, man. That's good.
Jeff
I know, I've never heard of that before either.
Martin Willis
You know that Amy was one of the, in this conspiracy of the missing scientists? I know she was suicide I believe or something like that or passed away
Jeff
and she was talking about the P52s. I didn't know that.
Darcy Weir
I guess so. Yeah. Yeah. It's not proven, but it's just something she talked about in terms of her theory on what possible alien races we're communicating with and doing technology transfer with.
Jeff
Yeah. I wanted to ask Darcy, what's your opinion on this is another one that I think a lot of people in the UFO community have opinions about the. For the whistleblower situation where people still maintain an active security clearance and aren't allowed to talk about certain things. Do you think that they're considered real whistleblowers in an authentic sense or, or do you think that if you're getting stuff pre. Pre approved by a certain department or agency, they would, they should be waived the right of being actually labeled a whistleblower. What's your hot take on that? If you have one?
Darcy Weir
Yeah, I think a factually correct whistleblower is somebody that leaks information that's classified and blows the whistle on some kind of conspiracy. Right.
Spinquest Promoter
So
Darcy Weir
Edward Snowden is the most Famous, I think, whistleblower that had to flee the United States.
Jeff
Yeah.
Darcy Weir
For fear of persecution. Because when you hold a security clearance and you do leak national security information that's damaging to the stability or security of a country, the reprisal is you go to jail for life or you die. There's things that could happen to you. Right. Look at the Boeing whistleblower he was supposed to be.
Jeff
Yeah, I forgot about that.
Darcy Weir
And that year, that week that he was supposed to testify, he mysteriously was dead.
Jeff
Just gave me goosebumps. Yeah.
Darcy Weir
Yes. I think those cases are good reflections of what we wouldn't want to see happen to a whistleblower for. For somebody have to give up the country they live in and flee to somewhere like Russia. Like, personally, I wouldn't want to live in Russia.
Martin Willis
No way.
Darcy Weir
But that's what Edward Snowden had to do. This Boeing guy lost his life for trying to speak the truth. And I think that's what UFO credible whistleblowers are trying to avoid as well. Right. So when you hear about the. The legal sort of disclosure framework that might be passed in Congress called the ndaa, which would include whistleblower protections, the point of the whistleblower protections is to give amnesty to them so they don't have. Have to flee the country or don't have to fear per, like repercussions, like being whacked or something like that. Or lose their job. Right. Because maybe they're in active service or maybe they're working for a special access program that's currently dealing with UFOs. That's allegedly what is happening. And if they do come forward while working for that apparatus in that environment, the reprisal is they lose their job, their income and go to jail. Right. And maybe they have families, a son, a daughter and a wife to support at the same time.
Spinquest Promoter
Yeah.
Darcy Weir
I think that's this delegate delicate game that has to be played with regards to this possible reality. The debunkers would say all whistleblowers are not credible unless they're escaping the country or. Or getting whacked. That's not fair. Right. We want to give some. Hold some space for people that may come forward in the future that can prove everything that they're saying.
Martin Willis
Yeah, they need to be protected. And by the way, I don't know if there's. Just a second. I don't know if there's longtime listeners here, but I used to do the show from Russia. I was in Russia four times, but I used to get up and do the show at 4 in the morning, Russia. Time to keep my show live at 8. So I know there's a lot of longtime listeners that remember me doing that and. But you're next.
Spinquest Promoter
Yeah.
Martin Willis
You had to go there, didn't you? I would not move to Russia for anything. I. In that way, I feel bad for Snowden having to live there. It's so oppressed and.
Darcy Weir
Oh, totally.
Martin Willis
So many games and corruption and all the police are in on it, everything. But anyway, it's good to be in America, and I bet you think it's good to be in Canada as well. Go ahead, Jeff.
Darcy Weir
Yeah, I have a quick question about that, just to give a bit of context. Quick answer about that. So I had a history university professor in when I was a young adult, and he had a Russian partner, and he lived for some time in Russia, and his visa to live there had expired by one day and he went for a walk. He was supposed to get it renewed, but. But he went for a walk and he was in the sort of Red Square area. They were living in a nice area, and he. He went for a walk. And it's routine that police can stop people there, even back then. This is the 90s or the 80s, right?
Jeff
Yeah.
Darcy Weir
And they can ask you for your passport, your identification documentation. Right. So he gave it to this one police officer and he said, I'm going to tell you right now, my visa has expired, but I'm going to get it renewed this week. It's just being, like, processed. And this police officer said, okay, I'm going to take you to jail because you're not allowed to be here. And he said, okay, wait, I'll give you equivalent of $50 that I've got in my wallet here. The guy says, do it. Yeah. The guy says, okay, takes the $50, closes wallet, gives it back to him. He turns around and is trying to head back to his apartment. And another police officer that saw this happen from across the street starts jogging towards him. And this guy hightailed it back to his apartment, got in and locked the door because what's going to happen to you? Right, that. That's the type of oppression that they live in there.
Martin Willis
Yeah, I've seen it firsthand. I've. I've saw it firsthand right in front of me.
Lady Luck
Wow.
Martin Willis
Yeah. Our car was pulled over and it was absolutely unbelievable. Take your car, take your license, everything. If you don't fork over the amount of money, I, I protested. And the person who, who you mentioned earlier said, why the chief of police or whoever it is, they're in on it too. It's all a game. But anyway, you mentioned that that incredible sighting in Russia. Let's. Do you know the details on that? The for. What's it called? Varouji. Yes. With a park. Just for the new listener that hasn't heard that. It's just an incredible story of these kids were all at a park and these huge tall beings came out of a craft.
Darcy Weir
Yes.
Martin Willis
More about that.
Darcy Weir
Wow. Supposedly broad daylight sighting happened in the 90s.

And kids saw this large egg shaped craft. Touchdown. A large like massive humanoid stepped out, but it looked robotic. I don't think it had like eyes or facial features. And then a cube, like being like literally a cube with arms and legs came out too apparently. And there was a whole. That whole town in this area saw this incident. So it was reported to the kgb and people like George Knapp and others that were getting files out of Russia got to deconstruct this instant incident.
Martin Willis
Yeah. Hey, thanks for that. Just for the new listener that has you hit it pretty good. I don't remember the cube. That's. I like the ones that are really weird. They seem almost more credible. And I know I share that feeling with Greg Bishop and others have that same type of philosophy. Though the weird ones almost seem more realistic. There was a question I wanted to get up. Go ahead.
Jeff
Go ahead, Darcy. If assuming the alien story isn't just some government made up fabrication to hide a US tech, military tech, if a part of that is true, let's say being a filmmaker, if you could actually get a gray in one of your documentaries in one of your films, what would you ask it, man? Have you ever thought about that?
Darcy Weir
Yeah. If I had a gray in front of me, I would be like, are Reptilians And Nordics real?
Martin Willis
Yeah. Are they real? Yeah,
Darcy Weir
but yeah, that would be cool.
Martin Willis
Is that it? Okay. All right.
Darcy Weir
Maybe that'll happen eventually. One day.
Martin Willis
Please.
Jeff
Yeah.
Martin Willis
All right. This is for again from Christopher Alexander. For all that you happen to know. If, do you happen to know is there a percentage of experiencers that and or experiences that involve completely unique entities not described by the, by others. I love that question. We hear about the Grays, we hear about the reptilians, the insectoids and tall Nordics and all this. But the oddball ones like we just talked about the Cube. Yeah, that's a new one on me.
Darcy Weir
Yeah. I released a doc about Pascagoula 73 that happened with Calvin Parker and Charlie Hickson. And those beings had, didn't have individual legs. Seemed to have a welded together lower leg area, two sort of like pincer like hands. They had what looked like a head that just kind of looked like it connected completely with the shoulders. Like there wasn't really a shoulder area. It was just like a neck head connection. And then they had like spikes coming out of their sides of their head and one out of the, the middle of their face. No eyes, mouth. And they had what looked like kind of like wrinkly elephant like skin, gray skin. So by all means. I had never heard of that type of creature or humanoid before that case. And it's pretty interesting. And there actually people can look up. Dr. Edgar Mitchell put together a study called the Free F R E E study.
Lady Luck
Oh yeah.
Darcy Weir
It has over almost 3000 non human intelligence sort of contactees sort of cases. And it also goes to people that go into a near death experience and beings they meet there. And I think about, I, I can't remember what the exact statistic is but there's something like 90% of those cases are humanoid. Whether and even a gray you could consider humanoid because it has eyes, ears, a mouth, a nose, two arms.
Martin Willis
Yeah.
Darcy Weir
Two legs, hands.
Martin Willis
This is the Pascagoula drawing that was drawn by Charles Hickson to have it drawn after the Pascagoula incident. And it's funny when you talk to Cal when I was actually friends with Calvin Parker and before he passed away and I was the first one that he talked to in 30 years. He had stayed quiet for a long time. Anyway, I got him hooked up to write his book and all that. But anyway he did not remember looking like that. It's funny how on some of these sightings and encounters where people different people see the same thing in a different way.
Darcy Weir
Yeah. Calvin saw a blonde lady he said
Martin Willis
he would pick her up in a bar is what he told me.
Darcy Weir
Yeah, he said if she, if he had enough beers, he might take her home.
Martin Willis
Yeah, that's right. Yeah.
Darcy Weir
So that's his character. That's interesting that, that they had these two different sort of experiences.
Martin Willis
You could say screen memory if you wanted to. How Maybe people have talked about that. Like. Yeah, you picture something and it's actually something else, but. All right, Darcy, so it's been a really nice night. Any last questions or anything? Let me just take a quick look before we say good night and go through.
Jeff
There was some people in the chat wondering about. So you had mentioned the egg shaped craft in that Russia case, kind of tying into Jacob Barber and the egg shaped craft video that was put out with Ross Coulthard and News Nation. Some folks in the chat wanted to know what are some of your opinions on Jake Barber, sky watchers, the Psionic crow, anything you'd like to share at all with the chat?
Darcy Weir
I have not really investigated that enough to have a full summation of what that's all about. But I think it's another case of summoners. Right. People that are conjuring UFOs through a form of meditation and so on. Like you were saying, Martin, you had a buddy who conjured a ufo, went to one of these events and they saw one. So maybe this is a real thing and maybe Jake Barber and his team were doing it. Other people's. Other people in the community may disagree. That's just the way it goes.
Martin Willis
Excellent. I don't see anything else here. I'm pretty excited to say that next week on the 28th, I have Mike Gold. He's from Redline, I believe it is. Rocket, planetary program and all that. It'll be a great show. Check it out next week. And anyway, if you listen to the audio part of this only, I'll try to get an audio blog out to you all this week. One of Charles Lear's blogs. A lot of people really like them. I have to read them now. Or Sam, who joins us once a month. He reads them sometimes as well. We miss Charles doing it, but he has much on his plate. But anyway, thanks so much, Darcy. And where can someone find you and all your goodies you have. How many films have you made? I was looking the other day, looks like 10 or something.
Jeff
Wow.
Darcy Weir
A lot. I'll drop. I'm going to send you a bunch of links and you can just drop them into the description. People can watch them for free. How about that? YouTube and Tubi TV links so people could just click and watch for free. But if they want to follow me or connect with me in chat, I'm on Facebook, at Occult Journeys, on Twitter or and then I'm also on Instagram Darcy Weir films. So yeah, definitely reach out and would love people to check out my work.
Martin Willis
All right. Okay. Thank you all and thank you all for in chat for your great questions and we'll see you here next week. And remember, as always, everyone, keep your eyes to the sky.

Host: Martin Willis
Producer: Donna Killeen
Guest: Darcy Weir
This episode features filmmaker Darcy Weir, known for his documentaries on UFOs, psychic phenomena, and government secrecy. The conversation covers his latest work exploring the intersection of UFO encounters and remote viewing, his personal evolution in the UFO field, the complex landscape of belief and skepticism, the role of whistleblowers, media personalities entering the topic, government information operations, and unique UFO cases around the globe.
The episode is rich in personal anecdotes, critical discussion about the UFO community, and open engagement with listener questions. Darcy offers an insider perspective, exploring both the sociology of ufology and the technical details behind his filmmaking.
[03:40–05:00]
Origin of the film began with a conversation with Tracy Dolan at Contact in the Desert (2023).
Tracy Dolan connected Darcy with Russell Targ, a central figure from the Stargate remote viewing project.
The film features many Stargate participants and Chris Ramsay, a magician who launched his own related docuseries.
Quote:
"I wanted to tell a story about the whole psychic history and the Russell Targ bit and touch on all of these people that he connected with through the Stargate Project."
— Darcy Weir [04:10]
[06:39–10:35]
First major influence: the controversial Phil Schneider story about underground firefights with aliens.
Early research was credulous; Darcy later developed skepticism due to widespread hoaxes and opportunists.
Reflection on changing perspective: From belief to critical scrutiny.
Quote:
"I think frankly the UFO field is very full of opportunists, con artists and jerks."
— Darcy Weir [08:33]
Quote:
"I was convinced there were reptilian lords and all kinds of David Icke-esque things ruling this planet...these days, I am interested in the sociological perspective."
— Darcy Weir [15:00]
[10:36–13:13]
Discussion about how charismatic speakers can sway audiences, causing skepticism to be “checked at the door.”
Martin shares a story of an outlandish speaker receiving a standing ovation.
Quote:
"If they speak with such confidence and they speak about something that's very interesting, it seems the crowd kind of checks their BS detector at the door."
— Darcy Weir [11:32]
[14:28–16:58]
Darcy now always adds caveats to his documentaries and warns viewers to remain skeptical.
Examines how conspiratorial thinking often anthropomorphizes the powerful into “reptilian overlords.”
Quote:
"I don't believe that there's reptile aliens out there. Maybe there are, but there's no proof."
— Darcy Weir [16:55]
[17:19–18:26]
[18:54–21:16]
Addresses Neil deGrasse Tyson and Dr. Phil’s involvement; Darcy notes Tyson has shifted from debunker to open-minded.
Suggests their new stances may serve to “legitimize” UFOs in the eyes of skeptical or mainstream audiences, possibly for political reasons.
Quote:
"I think it's like Trump's administration engaging with these types of influencers to add veracity...to soften the blow of disclosure possibly."
— Darcy Weir [21:16]
[23:49–25:43]
[25:43–27:56]
[28:07–31:06]
Darcy believes experiencers’ stories should be central, but all layers—military, civilian—are valuable for building a complete picture.
Quote:
"Different layers of society should all be speaking to this reality to give veracity that it's real or not."
— Darcy Weir [30:43]
[31:06–34:46]
Explores the theory that some UFO stories serve as cover for secret technology programs.
Richard Doty’s role in “seeding” disinformation is discussed; sometimes witnesses are told their sighting was “alien” when it was advanced tech.
Quote:
"It would be a very sad story if we are alone and all of this stuff is just black project tech that we're being told is alien or non human intelligence."
— Darcy Weir [34:41]
[34:46–37:54]
[38:02–40:16]
CE5, or summoning phenomena, described as an occult practice; many in the UFO community are “obsessed” with the occult dimension.
Quote:
"Even UFOs to do with summoning is an occult practice, right? So CE5, that is occult...you are literally...performing a ceremony to conjure something."
— Darcy Weir [38:02]
[50:18–52:02, 53:34–55:30]
Russian Voronezh incident: large humanoid and cube-shaped entities witnessed by children—globally, such oddball cases seem more credible to some researchers.
The Pascagoula 1973 case: rare, unique entity description detailed.
Quote:
"By all means, I had never heard of that type of creature or humanoid before that case. And it's pretty interesting."
— Darcy Weir [53:44]
[43:12–46:31]
Darcy distinguishes a “true” whistleblower as someone who leaks at personal risk, like Snowden, not those pre-cleared by government.
Whistleblower protection is vital to ensure credible information surfaces without severe retaliation.
Quote:
"A factually correct whistleblower is somebody that leaks information that's classified and blows the whistle on some kind of conspiracy."
— Darcy Weir [43:50]
This episode blends deep skepticism, respect for experiencers, and cultural analysis of the UFO world, offering a nuanced, entertaining, and informative take for both newcomers and seasoned enthusiasts. Darcy’s candidness, technical insight, and broad knowledge make this a standout episode in the Podcast UFO catalog.
