I was actually so afraid that you were gonna disagree and I was gonna have to, like, defend myself as a swiftie. So this just comes as a huge relief.

I'll tell you why. I think these first two episodes didn't quite slap as much. Yeah. One, we don't really care about the dancers. Like, I don't really need to know about these dancers biographies. Like, this is a. This is a docu series about Taylor Swift. In my head, that's what I was going in for. And then What I realized is it is actually exactly what they advertised, which is a documentary about the ERAS tour.

Yes. So unfortunately we're getting like, everyone who was on tour, like, their, their story as well. And the dancers seem lovely. I think that, like, I just would have been a little bit more enraptured by, like, her telling us what she orders for room service.

[Lauren]

No, I. Okay, Chandler, thank you. I wanted 45 minutes of her in the bathtub. Little situation. That 60 seconds we got of her after the show. I could have taken 45 minutes of that in lieu of much of what we received.

Also, I would have loved like a 0.5 speed, slow pan around her hotel room so I could just kind of take in with my eye everything. In fact, there's a moment where her cat, like, they flashed her hotel room and it looked like there was kind of a boho rug there that didn't look totally look like a hotel rug, I guess. And I was wondering, like, did they bring that? Did they, do they kind of furnish the hotel room to her specific liking? Which would make sense.

Totally.

That bathtub was amazing, though, that this is the bathtub that we all saw in the trailer that's like big and marble and where we did see her skincare. But yes, I agree, it was a lot about kind of who made the tour happen. Yeah. Which is beautiful. Beautiful. Important. Not necessarily what I care about. Yeah.

It could have been a YouTube video. Honestly.

When she was on screen, I was paying attention. There was just. Yeah. So I. I do want to talk about maybe the most emotional we've ever seen her.

No. And I, I think that it was so moving to see her really so moved by these tragedies that have happened. Yes.

[Chandler]

I think that was like. That was a part where I really felt like we got to see Taylor.

[Lauren]

Swift kind of bear and like, you know, and. Not that we ever doubted, but you. Most people cannot make themselves cry. She clearly was very moved.

[Chandler]

Yeah.

[Lauren]

By the tragedies that occurred.

[Chandler]

Let me, let me set this up a little bit for people, if you haven't watched.

[Lauren]

Yeah.

[Chandler]

So she's being interviewed at the. The morning of the London show and she's talking about how she's going to meet the families, you know, of the victims from the Southport attack, which, if everyone will remember, is that was that horrible tragedy where there was a knife attack at a Taylor Swift dance party that was for like 6 to 11 year olds. Like, it just is one of the most horrific things to think, you know, someone could do and could happen. And so Taylor is being interviewed about it and she says, I'm gonna go talk to those families. And she starts explaining what happened, you know, the tragedy. And she almost dry heaves like she, she's. She is overcome with so much emotion and like the, the tears begin and she's. She honestly can't even get the words out.

[Lauren]

It's really just so much for her to carry all of this. Like, really, in theory, these things actually had nothing to do with her. She was not involved at all. But it just so happened that they occurred. That this tragedy occurred at a Taylor Swift little kids dance party. So all of a sudden she kind of is Pulled into it.

[Chandler]

Right. Well.

[Lauren]

And like is at the center of this terrorist attack. Yeah.

[Chandler]

And I think having to grapple with like these people were having, were wanted to experience the joy that my mus. That my music can hopefully bring to them. And then this was like when they were targeted was like when they were trying to participate in my art.

[Lauren]

No, it's, it's so horrifying to consider. And I think that, you know, it just would be very easy to say like, okay, we're gonna make a point to go to London and meet with the families at some point. But I can't meet with the families before the show.

[Chandler]

Yeah, like this is a big show. I, I just feel like that should be a separate occasion or to meet.

[Lauren]

With all of them at once. But it's like, no. Before every single London show she meets with each individual family. I think that what we see is a pattern of just going above and beyond in just like the good person department. That is really so impressive. And you know, I see this comment everywhere, but it's like we really did make the right person famous.

[Chandler]

I was literally just gonna say that gives me the chills. Because I think that is the most fitting Internet comment of all time for Taylor Swift. Yeah, like, I really believe that to my core that she, we really did make the right person famous. And she sets an amazing example for other famous people.

[Lauren]

Like I really believe that to my core that she, we really did make the right person famous and she sets an amazing example for other famous people and everything. She does. Yeah.

And I think moving to part of the first episode, I think this was actually part of the second episode. But getting to the bonuses where she says, I wanted to set a precedent for, you know, it was important to me with the heirs toward a set of precedent, of generosity essentially. So she's thinking about, hey, how is this going to impact other artists and.

The decisions they make and the industry that I'm in.

[Lauren]

Yeah.

[Chandler]

Yes, exactly.

[Lauren]

So she gave out 197 million in bonuses throughout the A tour. So she gave a bonus at the end of each leg and there were five legs. Some speculation was that Pete Cam said that when he read out the letter that they each received 750,000.

[Chandler]

Yeah.

[Lauren]

And I actually think that is true.

[Chandler]

Yeah, yeah. Each I. Yeah, the dancers received about that much. The truck drivers received a hundred thousand. I mean it's crazy.

[Lauren]

It's so unfathomable. It's so cool. It's so impressive. Um, and I just think you see like their lives actually changing in that moment.

[Chandler]

Actually changing.

[Lauren]

Like that's such a, such a huge amount of Money.

[Chandler]

I mean, she could have given them.

[Lauren]

All a hundred thousand dollars completely.

[Chandler]

She could have given. But she gave them such an extra amount. I mean, I just. She could have. If. We probably would have praised her just, you know, in the same way, if she'd given them $100,000.

[Lauren]

Exactly.

[Chandler]

50 grand, 10 grand, you know, but she really. I don't know, she just. I think she made it a point to be extremely generous because this tour was very different and it was a different sacrifice for them.

[Lauren]

Well, yeah, absolutely, A different sacrifice. But also, she just. She does have a history of paying her band more. So she, I guess, has always paid her band a salary. And that's, I think, why they've, like, she's been able to retain the same band members this whole time. And one of them was interviewed and he basically said, like, you'll have band members for George Strait, you know, been in the industry or like, veterans, gold star band members who don't have a salary. And yet Taylor Swift's team. That's just how they do business. They offered that essentially out of the gate. And it's just. Yeah, I think that she probably saw. Hey, like, I have a moment here to actually, really, really materially change these people's lives, especially dancers who, like, they're not in a position where what they do is, like, necessarily a cash cow.

[Chandler]

Yeah, well. And it's also something that you can't do forever. Yes.

[Lauren]

That was very moving to see.

[Chandler]

I really was touched by her relationship and her love for her dancers. I think that, you know, I think we got that energy from the show, but I think seeing it behind the scenes, I really love that. I mean, and then when she talks about, like, scouting for dancers and how she wanted them to be all different types of people. Yeah, no, men, women, shape, sizes, everything. And I. I was like, she really is like, the real deal.

[Lauren]

Did you notice that when you first saw the Eras tour that the dancers, like, there was a diverse cast of dancers?

[Chandler]

I totally did that. Yeah. Yeah, I clocked it, too.

[Lauren]

And I remember, like. I just remember being like, of course. Like, of course this is not just all a bunch of, like, skinny blondes. Yes. You know.

[Chandler]

Well, she says, too. She doesn't. She says, you know, people when they're selecting their dancers, they're worried about them pulling focus.

[Lauren]

Yes.

[Chandler]

And she was like, I don't care about that. Like, she wanted each of her dancers to shine and. And they're meant. I would feel like I would recognize some of them, actually. I full Hollywood, and I don't Know that that's occurred with any other tour concert. Yeah, it's.

[Lauren]

It's fun to see that. She really wants them to, like, have their moments. Yes. And even when she is rehearsing with Florence and they're doing the choreography and they're like, okay, you're gonna be at the front of the stage, and then the dancers are gonna be doing this, like, really cool thing in the center. She's like, okay, well, we have to be in the center with them, because otherwise people will just be looking at us, and, like, they need to be looking at the dancers. Yeah, there's just a. I think there's, like, a generosity of not just, like, money, obviously, but of, like, sharing the spotlight and attention.

[Chandler]

She's not. I don't think she's a narcissist.

[Lauren]

No, I don't think so either.

[Chandler]

I think we can safely say that we do diagnose mental health quite often on this show, and I think we can. We can do that here. I want to talk about when she talks about learning the choreography and how she says she's. Her choreography has come a long way, which it absolutely has, and that she cannot learn it to, like counts. She has to learn it to, like, syllables and lyrics. I found that to be, frankly, very relatable. I'm like, okay, thank God.

[Lauren]

She's.

[Chandler]

If she was also just naturally a perfect dancer. I mean, and she acknowledges she's not.

[Lauren]

Like, dancing is not really something that comes supernaturally. And I just. I couldn't relate more. We definitely have no rhythm. I felt so. I felt so bad for Florence when she got there. And they're like, okay, and here's. Here's what your choreography is going to be. Because I would have. I would have had the same reaction. Like, I'm sorry, what?

[Chandler]

I would like to just. I want to be. The only choreography I'm interested in doing is laying on the roof.

[Lauren]

No, exactly. Exactly.

[Chandler]

I can remember that one absolutely. Sit on some stairs or lay on the roof.

[Lauren]

I remember when the docu series opens and she's giving the speech, and she's like, we are performing for. We have performed for 10 million people. Not 10. 10 million people watching a show, which is also cool, but 10 million people. She's giving this, like, long speech about what a big deal.

[Chandler]

Yeah.

[Lauren]

This is. And I just remember thinking, like, this woman, she. She's not only just such an incredible songwriter, such an incredible musician and artist, she's also just such an incredible leader.

[Chandler]

She's a great leader, and there's a.

[Lauren]

World leader A mantle on her shoulders.

[Chandler]

The way that she was just kind of holding on to her, like, holding on to everybody. And you can tell that she's very comfortable with them and that they're comfortable with her. In fact, I. I. Even as she was, like, holding onto the girl, I was like, I can't even imagine if Taylor had been holding.

[Lauren]

Onto for that long.

[Chandler]

Like, I would. My body would be shaking, convulsing. But she clearly instills and sets a tone of just a comfortable, loving environment, hardworking, you know, nothing but the best.

[Lauren]

Nothing but the best. No, I think that. I think that it was just so, like, wow, this woman really could be, like, our leader, you know?

[Chandler]

And I would get. I would want nothing more.

[Lauren]

You know how they say before the last days that there'll be, like, one World government?

[Chandler]

Yes, One world. Like, yeah, yeah, maybe, like, that is.

[Lauren]

And Taylor Swift will leave it.

No, but then wouldn't that make her the Antichrist?

Well, I think maybe they could have gotten that part wrong.

That's, like, the surprise. No, I mean, I would follow a one World order if she was at the head of it.

Okay. Let's talk about the Travis moments that we got. We got just a few minimal ones. Nothing crazy. There was a phone call.

I. So I felt like the fact that she called him immediately, like, first thing she does when she gets in the car is called Travis after the London show.

[Chandler]

And it's clearly, it's middle of the night. Yeah. He had, like, been woken up. Okay.

[Lauren]

So I think with something that's really cool and special is, or I guess important to know, I should say, is that, you know, the London show was the first one after Vienna, and if all our listeners remember, maybe you do, maybe you don't. I. We were supposed to go to Vienna.

[Chandler]

Not me.

[Lauren]

But you were. I was supposed to go to Vienna.

[Chandler]

I always forget that.

[Lauren]

Apologies, but. And I was literally on the flight when I got the news, so we were all pretty terrified when we went to the London show, because it was the first show after, like, this terrorist, this thwarted attack. And I think that it really was so unsettling for everyone because it was like, could this. You know, it almost was like, well, even if it didn't happen, then did it give new people ideas? Right.

[Chandler]

It just sort of opened this door to, like, the massive risk that it was to go to the show or to be with this many people and just. What a target. Yeah, exactly. What a target it was.

[Lauren]

So anyway, I just remember feeling that as someone who was actually in the audience for this show that was filmed. Yes. I was devastated. I was not.

[Chandler]

I remember that was, that was really brutal for you guys. It was scary.

[Lauren]

But, but it was so interesting to watch like her and the fact that, you know, she had such physical nerves beforehand. That moment with Andrea was pretty like tender, don't you think? She goes, why? Cuz she's saying I'm having a very physical, bodily nervous reaction.

[Chandler]

Yeah.

[Lauren]

And Andrea just leans over and she says why?

[Chandler]

Just so, so sweet. Very sweet. But yeah.

[Lauren]

Anyway, so they do the show, it goes off without a hitch and she gets in the car and the first thing she does is calls Travis. And I just found it to be like, I, I, they really have such a clear, like beautiful intimacy.

[Chandler]

Yes. And I think the fact that she is like, I don't care. It's late, it's late for me. It's probably late for him. Right. I'm calling him, I'm going to tell him that it went so well. He knows that I've been worried about this. There's like a sharing of, of her struggles with him, you know, and of her what she's going through while she's in this crazy time. They clearly like share each other's mantle or like worries.

[Lauren]

Yeah.

[Chandler]

And I could just, I could hear in his voice how relieved he was that she felt so good. And I think that is like, that's, that's real love right there.

[Lauren]

And you know, it was fun to see her say like we're so back and be so excited. Yes. Also, did you love the little like micro details in that moment where she gets in the car and then someone is right there to take off those boots The Christmas.

[Chandler]

No, I, I totally missed.

[Lauren]

She puts her feet up, someone takes off her boots, slides them off. She does. Thank you. And then someone else hands her a water bottle with a straw already in it. I live for those details.

[Chandler]

Oh, I, I want to go back and watch tonight. Tonight when I rewatch it for the third time, I will be watching because.

[Lauren]

It'S like those logistics have always been so interesting to me. Like who gets the midnight's bodysuit from her hotel room and make sure it all.

[Chandler]

I mean even seeing her get into the cleaning cart was so, and I, one thing I was thinking about that, the quick aside, I was thinking about not only is it just, logistically it makes more sense for her not to have to walk all the way, but it's like she doesn't have to, like, look at people. Right. She can just fully be like, mentally preparing to go on stage versus, like, hi, Hi. We're going to, you know, like that.

[Lauren]

I think that also it just like, it kind of takes a lot of the excitement out of that first moment when people see her. If they, if they're seeing her walk down.

[Chandler]

Well, I just even mean people backstage.

[Lauren]

Oh.

[Chandler]

You know, like people just having to like, go through the crowd and make her way to the stage.

[Lauren]

Yeah.

[Chandler]

Okay. Back to the Travis moment. I literally when she had. She's handed another water bottle with a straw. And I was like, I wonder if that's like, is it because she's always wearing lipstick or just like, she doesn't want to have to deal with a cap? Does she always want Evian? Is it not always like, I. I want to know. I want to know the instacart.

Did you think it was so interesting to hear her talk about how she doesn't take anything to go to sleep? Because that was such a Roman Empire for me.

I mean, she also said she doesn't do drugs.

I don't know how much I fully buy that. Forever and ever. Yeah. But I'm sure she was keeping her diet and mind, body, soul all very, like, clear. During the ERAS tour, when you're performing.

At her level, if you don't want to become addicted to drugs, you literally just have to be like a master of mind over matter. You have to learn how to have your body, like, regulate itself.

Yeah. I think, too, the fact that she said, sometimes I don't fall asleep until 4am yeah. And I was thinking about that. I'm okay. She falls asleep at 4am she wakes up at maybe 11, near noon, and then it's like, go to the stadium again. Like, on the days where I have fallen asleep at 4am my whole next day is.

Right. Well, I think it's because she's just on that crazy.

[Chandler]

I know. I'm just saying, like, the fact that that became kind of her timetable, her routine, her. Her rhythm, circadian rhythm is pretty impressive to me.

Yeah.

You know, anytime that I'm going to bed super late, like, I. I feel like I'm entering a state of psychosis.

Just that she doesn't have to, like, shoulder it all alone, that she has her mom who's completely in it with her.

Amanda. Okay. I first want to talk about Kyle and Mo.

I want to talk about his house. Okay. Before we get into, like, their interaction. So his house is beautiful. It's, like, set up. You know it. When I say his house is beautiful, I mean the exterior and the view. I was so disappointed with the interior. The interior was just giving.

I don't know.

[Chandler]

There were a lot of, like, tall, white chairs.

[Lauren]

Yeah. The interior is very basic. I'm sure that house is very expensive. But that said, I also Feel like it reminded me of what Kathy said, and she once said, like, something about how, like, Mo couldn't afford X, Y, or Z. This was, like, pretty recently before he met Kyle. No, this is like, she was saying, like, Mo can't afford, like, wait, really? Yeah. Like, I don't think Mo makes as much from the agency as people think.

[Chandler]

Really.

[Lauren]

I think he's, like. He's Is of. Has a very minor ownership stake compared to, like, investors. And I think that he's more kind of like, the face of it. Exactly. But it's more of a franchise. And I just. I would be shocked, given seeing those digs, if he really is, like, as wealthy as I think it used to appear.

[Chandler]

I think what I thought when I saw it was like, this doesn't look like an interior designer did this. It looks like this is leftover furniture from somewhere.

[Lauren]

Right.

[Chandler]

Or this is. We're kind of thrown together.

Once again, a renter.

Yeah.

Around her with. With criticism. But yeah. Okay, let's. Let's talk though, about it. When him and Kyle sit on the couch, she brings him over more towels.

Yes. As. Because it's like a joke that he only got eight for himself.

She holds up, like, a makeup towel, like a black towel, and says, like, this is for your daughters, not for any of the skanky girls.

[Lauren]

I don't know. I found this scene to be kind of sad. Super sad, because he, like, makes. He kind of says, like, oh, it's like, you should, like, day. It's, like, so fun to be, like, passionate. And she's like, can you please stop talking about this? Like, she's like, you're referencing your own.

Experiences talking to your ex husband who. Or not even ex husband. Talking to your husband who you're separated from.

[Lauren]

Yeah.

Who you kind of want to get back together with. And hearing him say, like, you should experience the passion of date, of dating new people. Like, it's so clear that he is emotionally not with her.

[Lauren]

Do you think she wants to get back together with him?

[Chandler]

Yes.

I don't know if that's totally my read. Only because she is so chill about him. And she's like. She is so convivial with him. And so I don't know that that's. I don't think she wants to get back together with him.

We're hearing a lot more about the Morgan relationship. I mean, of course, never my name. Right. But we're hearing, you know, that she was in a relationship with someone she really deeply loved that's now ended. But now she's single and Mo is continuing to just, like, party. And I don't. I don't think she wants to go out and have one night stands. She doesn't strike me as an Erica Jane type. Or she just wants to get dick. Not. No, not to slut shame. Erica Jane for sure.

But Kyle is like a serial monogamist. She's like the girl in high school who always had a boyfriend.

[Chandler]

Correct.

[Lauren]

And it was like, you know, you're like a. A freshman in high school and you feel like she's had like three one year relationships.

[Chandler]

Yeah.

Like you've. No one's ever liked you.

[Chandler]

Literally, she's like, oh, yeah, we've been dating for three years. Yeah, exactly. Junior in high school.

Exactly. Okay, should we talk about the Morgan?

[Chandler]

Yeah. I mean, we never hear the name said.

[Lauren]

Yeah.

[Chandler]

But she. Yeah, she literally says, you know, I'm. I'm single now. I was in a relationship.

And Dorit. So Dorit on Watch what happens live set, like, confirms it's Morgan, essentially. I just find it to be so interesting that if Morgan Wade was really so private, why would she do, like, the. The music video with Kyle?

[Chandler]

I know, I know.

[Lauren]

Just doesn't make any sense.

[Chandler]

I don't know why either. I do think this is coming from Morgan. I think Kyle would have been more open about it. Yeah. I don't think Kyle wanted to keep it a full secret.

And I also think it would have been good for Morgan's career.

It's so weird. But I also. I mean, Kyle, she didn't talk about Morgan on the show, but by having her on and I think being so visibly in love with her, like, she kind of. She just showed she didn't tell.

Like, I think we saw.

That relationship.

She never said, like, I'm bi.

You know, she's had conversations where she kind of talks about it.

Totally. Or to say, like, I had a relationship with. With a woman.

And I think that would. That would be very fascinating for the viewers to hear. Like, incredible. Is that, like, were you always interested in women?

How did this kind of happen?

Did this relationship just find you and then you were like, wait, I actually do feel this way. I can't. I can feel this way about a woman. She could talk about it generally versus, like, this is my specific relationship with Morgan. Right. But she doesn't want to do that, I guess.

Yeah. Or maybe it's coming because this is really like the first episode where she sits down with Erica and it's very clearly like a premeditated conversation where she's, like, soft, launching, revealing that she dated Morgan.

Yes. Yes. So let's talk about Kyle and Dorit and PK and the way that entire situation is going down. Because I got a little hint of this in the last episode when they're talking about the pictures of PK and that woman, you know, of them kissing, and Kyle says, well, you know, not to be team pk, but he didn't know those photos were taken. Right. She's kind of pk. Stan. Stan.

[Lauren]

Yeah. I mean, I think that she obviously had such a big falling out with Dori, and so she kind of has, like, taken PK side in the divorce.

[Chandler]

Such a bad look.

[Lauren]

It is a bad look. And she's obviously not going to fully cop to that, but it's going to be pretty clear. My feeling is like, of course PK has not, like, Mo is saying, oh, PK's not angry. And Kyle's saying, well, she's saying these things about pk, but that's not true to any of my experiences with this person. I know. And it's like, well, yeah, you're not his ex wife.

[Chandler]

Well, and she's like. She just seems very angry. It's so frustrating to me that, like, everyone gets to make a comment about Dorit's anger. Right. In this situation when, you know, you hear from her, like, PK doesn't give her any money.

[Lauren]

No. And I. I just feel like obviously PK is not going to be, like, behaving towards Mauricio or Kyle Richards in the same way he's behaving towards his ex wife.

[Chandler]

Right.

[Lauren]

Like, you are probably. People are the worst version of themselves while they're getting divorced. Correct. So I just think that it's like an obvious that. I'm sure if he does have a side that's angry or dark, it's just not one that Kahl or Mo would be privy to. But that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. And I. I think the fact that there has been no conversation about finances. They have not organized things and said, okay, who's paying for what? I think it just goes to show what a cluster there they are financially.

[Chandler]

Absolutely. Absolutely. So. And I think that I really like to read. I've always really liked to read. I think that I am firmly on her side in this divorce. She's been waiting for me to weigh in.

[Lauren]

Yeah.

[Chandler]

Because I see her being the primary caretaker. I see her being emotionally extremely involved in her children's lives. And, you know, it's just. This is just a very classic divorce, in my opinion, where the. The dad kind of like, FSR. Fs off. Exactly. And then uses the kids as. Like a. As a chess piece.

Yes.

[Chandler]

To then emotionally torture like their ex wife.

[Lauren]

Yeah. No, it's. It's really sad. And I tend to just, I think, like, side with the primary caregiver. Exactly. That tends to be the. The most likely, the person who's in the right, in my opinion.

Honestly, it's the. Yeah, it's the person who's giving their life over to take caring. Like, to taking care of their children as a single parent. If that was PK in this situation, I. I would be able to recognize completely, you know, or, like, see that there could be faults in Dareep. And once again, like, PK's not day in, day out.

The caretaker.

It's like a, it's like she should have one of those like those shoes on that are like velvet and they have little like bells at the top. Like, do you know what I'm talking about? Yes, she is literally, absolutely court jester. Even Ben, we were watching, I was watching this episode this morning before coming over here and Ben was like, oh my gosh, did you see this outfit? It's crazy.

That outfit is so crazy. It's insane injectables with what she's discussing, which is her accident, dying in prison.

Sometimes you have to give yourself your own closure.

So I am curious. And I. The thing I will say is like not. And not saying that you are, you know, agreeing with Boz. But it's like if you put yourself in the face, in the shoes of those kids, imagine if like we don't know the situation. What if she really is raising them?

Yeah. Yeah. Okay, so in other Bravo news, everyone, two pieces of news we want to get to before we conclude this program today, Real Housewife of Orange County, Alam, Megan King, everyone. So she has officially lost custody of her kids and will only see them now for three weeks a year.

That's crazy.

With supervised visitation. So according to Us Weekly, Megan King has agreed to allow Aspen nine and the seven year old twins Hart and Hayes to live full time with her ex husband. Jim Edmonds will now primary custody of the children and they will reside in Tennessee. The update comes after King temporary lost full custody of her children earlier this year. This was made when a school nurse called CPS because she had basically instructed the school nurse to give the kid Ritalin.

Which the kid was not for and.

[Chandler]

Which is like wild.

[Lauren]

Yeah. So this is a comment I found on Reddit and says, I'm a school nurse in California and under Ed Code, we cannot administer anything that is over the counter unless. Over the counter, unless there is a written doctor's order or parental consent in writing. If a child requires medication that should be administered at school, we require paperwork to be filled out by the prescribing physician to be faxed, sent directly to the school from the doctor. So it's not like they can even just show, hey, this, you know, my kid has a script. The bottle should be unopened and the pills are carefully counted and administered by the nurse or health tech, not the child.

Can I also just tell everybody, ground everybody in the fact that this is a seven year old boy. Like we have seven year old, you know, nieces and nephews, basically six, seven. Like that's incredibly young to be giving. I mean it's never okay if something's not prescribed. And especially, I mean Ritalin is no joke.

I always want to take the side of the primary caregiver, as I said earlier in the episode. But something is off here.

Something is very off. The idea that you're giving your 7 year old like intense medication.

[Lauren]

Yeah.

[Chandler]

That they're not prescribed for. I, I think really when I think about the age, that's when it feels really shocking and just, it really doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Remember when Megan King was a Biden for like five weeks.

[Chandler]

So she fell in love with this guy who was Joe Biden's nephew and she married him and they had, she, they from I think their first date to getting married, it was five weeks.

[Chandler]

It was something during COVID I want to say.

[Lauren]

Yeah, it was. Is something crazy. I think Joe Biden went to the wedding.

[Chandler]

I think so too. Yeah.

[Lauren]

Is this, so this is such a wild part. Of Bravo history. Although really wasn't on Bravo. But anyway, I just think that like even that is such like a. It just goes to show that there's something not fully.

[Chandler]

Yeah.

And working.

And we do not like Jim Edmonds.

There's just something very odd.

I mean, I think it was all very unclear when, you know, the reports came out that she lost custody or whatever that he was fighting her for custody hearing that she was trying to give the seven year old unprescribed medication. ADHD medication is crazy.

Yeah. It's changed. I think it's changed the equation a little bit.

[Chandler]

Yeah. Moving on to less crazy news, less shocking, less wild. I almost wish we had champagne to cheers. But Todd and Bronwyn separated.

[Lauren]

I'll read everybody the statement, please. So reps for Bronwyn told TMZ the pair decided to go their separate ways after thoughtful consideration. This was a mutual decision made with care and respect for one another. They asked for privacy during this time. So just the CANVA template for divorce announcement.

I mean, did you see Amy Schumer's divorce announcement?

[Chandler]

No, I just saw that they were splitting up. I didn't see the announcement.

[Lauren]

Okay.

[Chandler]

So was it funny?

[Lauren]

It actually was funny. It was actually so funny. So I'll read it to you. So Amy Schumer posted with a photo of her.

[Chandler]

Yeah. And her. Yeah.

[Lauren]

Now, I guess, soon to be ex husband. And it says blah, blah, blah. Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after seven years. We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time. Blah, blah, blah. Not because I dropped some lbs and thought I could swag a basket. And not because he's a hot James Beard award winning chef who can pull, who can still pull some hot tail, amicable and all. Love and respect, family forever.

[Chandler]

That is a hilarious divorce announcement.

[Lauren]

And so funny.

[Chandler]

I love her saying, not just because I dropped a few lbs or not just because he's, you know, an award winning chef. Like there's clearly, I don't know, there's clearly good vibes there despite everything.

[Lauren]

And no, definitely an iconic announcement given the fact that they all basically sound like Bronwyn and Todd. Yes. I personally feel like it's exactly what Heather McDonald predicted, which is she probably got on the show hoping that it would give her some sort of platform to make her own money till and to leave him. And because he probably is, I Mean, we saw. He is such a nightmare to be married.

[Chandler]

He's a nightmare. Heather McDonald was absolutely right. I'm so thrilled about it. I'm literally like rejoicing in the streets. Hosanna. We saw their marriage up close, like, you know, last season. Obviously it looked bad then. And then I think when we heard that he cheated on her, it was just like, this is a nightmare. This is a nightmare. A living hell. This man is awful.

[Lauren]

No, absolutely. And I just think that, you know, like, for her it'll be very interesting to watch her as a single person and her evolve beyond. Like, she, I think has so much more to offer and so much more substance than, oh, this is like a ten thousand dollar heart Saint Laurent coat or whatever. Like, the expensive designer costumes are actually the least interesting part about her. She's so well spoken.

[Chandler]

Yes.

[Lauren]

She's such a great housewife. And I just actually think that seeing her in this next phase where maybe she's like. Because she's not going to be, she's not going to be able to be orbiting or she's not going to be in the same sphere that she used to be in financially. She's not going to be flying private. She's not going to be living the way she used to. And I feel like this is going to be an amazing chapter of like hopefully of authenticity. Yeah. And realness for her. Like, it's honestly going to be a little bit her Erika Jane era.

[Chandler]

Absolutely.

[Lauren]

And I'm excited to see whatever her casita is like. I'm excited to see this next phase for her.

[Chandler]

Bronwyn is like a great like Carol Radzwell, like kind of like an Aaron Leechy or whatever where they're just like. I just feel like I could have a conversation with her at dinner and we would be understanding each other. You know, like, she's not just never head in the cloud. She's not Delulu or crazy. And so yeah, I, I love seeing her on, on our screen and I think this is where Housewives is actually quite amazing because it gives like these women who are stuck in bad marriages.

[Lauren]

Yeah.

[Chandler]

Kind of a, a way out.

[Lauren]

A way out. And I, I, it's the best thing for her to stay in Salt Lake because she really, she's on this cast. But I just would love if she moved to New York.

[Chandler]

Yeah.

[Lauren]

Like Ramen should move to New York. Be on Roni. And I just feel like now there's nothing that's going to tie her to Salt Lake City right when needs to is probably going to fly the coop.

[Chandler]

Yeah.

[Lauren]

And I just probably already has. Salt Lake is like, not the place.

[Chandler]

It doesn't feel like her necessarily. Yeah.

[Lauren]

Yeah. But she.

[Chandler]

She is great on that cast and.

[Lauren]

It'S such an opportunity. Also, you know what I was thinking about? Because I was like, oh, man. The fact that PK is not giving Dre any money. But Dream must be pulling in a lot of money.

Totally. Right.

[Lauren]

She must be making millions a year.

[Chandler]

I mean, brand deals. Between brand deals.

[Lauren]

She has 1.6 million followers.

[Chandler]

Yeah.

[Lauren]

So she's probably fine. But it's all fascinating.

It's all fascinating. I'm very thrilled that they are splitting up because having to watch them, it was deal with their relationship and then having her say we're actually super happy.

Yeah. I think that honestly, it was fascinating to watch, but I couldn't handle, like another season of it would have just been like, okay, this is just terrible.

[Chandler]

Right. And. And nobody was buying it.

[Lauren]

Yeah.

[Chandler]

So interesting though that she just said on the most recent episode, everything is good.

[Chandler]

We're actually quite happy.

[Lauren]

I can't wait till she's so like, I'm curious what she's gonna spill about Todd.

I mean, is the divorce gonna be messy?

[Lauren]

Well, they apparently know prenup.

So that'll be interesting. And I was doing a little bit of research and I guess Utah considers nine years to be like right on the cusp of a long term or a medium termish marriage. Yeah. She should get alimony for the next like 10 years, essentially. Wow. So, yeah, it'll be interesting to see what happens. Yeah. Okay, you guys, What a fun 2025. I mean, there's gonna be fresh episodes on. On premium this week. We have our Diane Keaton deep dive. Next week is a re. Next week is a rerun. And then there will be. We're probably.
