Talked to me about it on the phone. I went and looked at their Instagrams and I did notice one of them, you know, when they're doing their ostensibly Christmas Eve celebrations in Aspen in like the cabin they're staying at, they're all wearing. Or two to three of them are wearing like high waisted leotards.

Okay. With long white fur coats. And then also the leotards have plunging necklines. So they're basically like, I not naked, but they're in like super revealing one piece.

Like in the living room. And what I was thinking about is how that would make me uncomfortable to wear that silhouette around dad, like in the pool, like in the Jacuzzi at our house. Like, I would just feel kind of weird about it. Yes. So there's something kind of hilarious about not even being in like a pool environment.

And revealing so much. Just being under like the harsh kitchen fluorescent lights.

Yes. I mean, I think they all just like dress super hot all the time, much like more power to them. I like, I would like to do that more, you know, my, myself, but you know, clearly I'm not doing a great job. But yeah, it's just, it's always so funny because it's always, a lot of times it's in the setting of being with like just with their parents and then they're just like 12 out of 10 sexy. Yeah. And I don't know, it's like, what does it say about us?

I, I, I think we're not putting our shoulder to the wheel enough because honestly, they're laughing all the way to the bank. And I will say the Christian fundamentalist parents are taking really well to the Aspen luxury lifestyle. Have you noticed?

It was amazing. So we went to California for Christmas, and on the way, Kagan and I went for two nights and it was a quick. Just little bounce over to Cancun from Puerto Rico, because it's only five hours from Puerto Rico to Cancun, whereas to California to the west coast, it's like 11 hours. Yeah, it's a light journey. Both are two flights. But anyway, I just thought, let's break up the journey. There. And let's go for two nights and hit up that hotel I've been dying to stay at. And man, did I. I feel like I slayed the content for two nights. Yeah, I was there for a week.

[Chandler]

No, it's true. You had enough, like, a lot of outfit changes.

[Lauren]

I was really trying hard.

I was working on the trip. And so anyway, it was absolutely beautiful. Loved it. But you did set me up for.

And we haven't debriefed on this yet. And I'm very happy we can now. So I. I have a husband who loves experiences. He loves, like, going to a luxury place and getting really amazing service. And he loves, like, little surprises.

This is part of what, like, makes a trip for him. And I really wanted him to have an excellent experience. So that way he'd be like, oh, let's do that again on the way to California.

And I have been talking this place up non stop.

And one of the things you said was, you said when you get there, when you get into the car to the. From the airport to the hotel, they have your favorite drink ready to go.

Like in a little carafe thing that they then pour over ice or something.

Over, like, beautiful ice cubes. And it's like a really nice experience. Like, you literally sip a cocktail on the way to the hotel. And I was just thinking, okay, like, Kagan's gonna love this little surprise. And so. And so I was like, how do they know your favorite cocktail? And anyway, Chandler was like, they email you.

Yeah, you get like, you get a questionnaire. At least I got a questionnaire before this day where I filled in, like, what's your favorite drink?

[Lauren]

Like, whoever's traveling to you, what's their favorite drink?

[Lauren]

So, so basically, long story short, it's like 24 hours before our flight, and I'm just like, I have been waiting.

For this questionnaire to come through. Also, the questionnaire includes, like, what kind of pillows do you like? What kind of bedding do you want? It's extensive. You did not receive such a questionnaire?

[Lauren]

I did not receive that questionnaire, I think because I booked last minute, just through. I think I booked through Amex Points. So I didn't use Alexandra. And so you booked through Alexandra, so you might have gotten, like, more of the full experience. But maybe. Long story short, I had been corresponding with Odell, so I emailed them.

[Chandler]

Well, I think you should start with, like, the email before this email that we're getting to, like, can we. Can we pull up the chain? Because you've been emailing them about other things, right?

[Lauren]

I mean, I've been emailing about, like, I scheduled a massage.

[Chandler]

Yes, exactly. So, like, Lauren's in a thread just, like, already kind of chatting about, like, logistics and things that, you know, she wants to happen on during her stay.

And making sure that they know our flight.

So if you have anywhere you can go that's not that far away, two nights. Especially if you can get there early and leave late. The last day you leave, it really can feel like almost three days of vacation.

So Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson have apparently grown super close on the set of their upcoming movie song Sung Blue, driving his girlfriend Sutton Foster mad with jealousy, according to Radar Online. So while Kate has Been, you know, in a long relationship with Danny Fujikawa. Apparently, she has also been getting close to her work hubby, Hugh Jackman.

Yeah, she referred to him as her work hubby, which. I never like those monikers. No, it's kind of weird. And this insider says, you know, the first thing people may wonder when they see Song Sung Blue is, hey, why isn't Sutton Foster in this movie with you? She's the right age, has the right look, and unlike Kate Hudson, she's actually an accomplished singer. And this, this is an interesting tidbit, they say, but the vision for this project required that Hustar opposite someone who is equally famous. And that disqualified Sutton.

I mean, what a dig. Not only are you jealous, but you're also not as successful.

Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster flaunt their relationship during a romantic getaway in Costa Rica. So basically, like, within a week of these headlines coming out, then there are paparazzi photos of Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster frolicking during golden hour in Costa Rica. Are you seeing this?

I'm looking at it right now. This is like, we called the paparazzi. I don't think the paparazzi are just hanging out in the ocean in Costa Rica.

Exactly my point. Exactly. So what this makes me think is that there's damage control being done. And it's just. It's. It's giving. Like, me thinks the lady death protest too much. It's just, like, a little bit, like, trying to change the narrative. And I just think if you're confident in securing your relationship, you just ignore it.

And he was talking about how like the disparity between how he thought he was being perceived as like some cool baller guy and the way he was actually perceived which was you know, like really, really malevolent and tacky and cringe and just creepy. Horrible.

Yeah. Qualities that was what Sam was talking about was like that was just. He had never seen someone who was so. Who lacked such self awareness. And so if he's just doing that at a dinner, it's hard for to imagine that Carol Roswell who like is pictured many times. It's not like every time they hung out. Getty Images has photos of no so pictured many times hanging out. There's a frame photo of Carol in her house. Like I'm sorry, but she knew.

It is pathetic to me that he is manipulating his mom into writing this gofundme and that it is actually all about Eloise.

No, the Eloise part of it is purely to get spousal support and alimony. It's. It's to get child support. Excuse me, For Eloise.

That way Denise is on the hook to make sure Eloise's lifestyle is commensurate with hers and that will way increase the amount of support that Aaron would be ordered. That is why he is saying that he wants child support. That's why most men who, who go after 50, 50 custody or do that, a lot of times it's because they want that child support and that some women, obviously that does happen. The thing that I think is funny is like she kind of tells on him in this because she's like, I've been caring for Eloise for months and I'm sorry, but why, why is he looking for child support for someone his mother was taking care of? In theory, yeah. Like he can't even say, oh, I was take. I was the sole custodian of her. It sounds like he can't even take.

Care of her right. Why is Aaron not getting a proper job?

I just have to think. I mean, we see her a little bit with that physical therapist. Yes. Did you. Do you ever watched the documentary about Lady Gaga? One of the parts of it that I was so jealous of is she constantly had someone rubbing her. Like, no matter where she was, there was just this woman who was, like, rubbing her neck, like, rubbing her arm. Like, maybe I dreamed this, but I'm pretty sure this is real. So I'm. I'm 99.9%.

And then Taylor's like, will you make those ribs for Travis?

It's true. And Gracie had, like, stars in her eyes the whole time. I completely agree. And it is really sweet the way that Gracie said, like, there's not an era of my life or like, a part of my life that doesn't correspond with an album of hers.

But I guess it. Maybe it makes sense because Gracie is, like, way more of a Taylor Swift type artist. Yes. It's very confessional, lyric driven.

One thing that I did think was a little bit funny was when Andrea was talking about how she would listen to her mom, like, sing these opera performances, and then her mom would say, like, did that part of the aria make you want to cry? Which is, like, so funny.

Well, do you know what it made me think about?

It made me think about you reading me your poems. So, like, Andrea tells this story about how after her mom's, like, opera performances that, you know, they'd be in the car on the way home and her mom would be like, so when this. When I sang this part, did that.

Did that, like, you know, she. She kind of had to, like, give her mom a report about how, like, how the performance made her feel.

And while you never demanded that, it was just like somebody who's not really in the right capacity to be giving you notes. And I remember, like, giving you, like, praise for your poetry after you read it to me when I was like, 14 or 15. I'm just like, wow, that part's really good.

And she would have. She would have loved to have sung for a stadium this large. Like, that part is. Was very. I don't know.

Like, you could tell that Marjorie was totally, like, a glamazon. She was always so stylish in all the home footage they showed. And so, I don't know. I. I think that Marjorie particularly would be tickled by, you know, what Taylor has become.

Yeah. I mean, I have to just say the live performance that is in the ERAS tour of Marjorie makes me cry.

[Lauren]

Yeah.

[Chandler]

Every single time when Taylor Swift, like, I'm demonstrating how she signs in the air, like, you know, the name Marjorie. And it's just, like. It's incredible. And it just made me, like, cry again last night. It's.

It's extremely moving.

Also, I think it's nice that there's a song that's, like, about Andrea's story, too, besides the Best Day and the song about cancer.

You know, it's like, this is about their whole life and their family, and it's about, like, there's a piece of, like, Andrea's soul in this music, and it's not just, like, all about Taylor's ex boyfriend.

It's like. It's just my greatest regret that, like, that didn't happen sooner so that our grandmother, our grandparents didn't see it. It's just, like, on all sides, it.

Was part 27, because Kate Middleton, our crowning life achievement. I mean, thank goodness her parents were alive to witness that.

Well, again, I think they're. They're at the same hotel. So Austin's thinking, I'm gonna ride back with Taylor.

Yeah. But I would be like, I probably will give the pop star, the greatest pop star of, like, our lifetime, like, some space.

But, yeah, she does get in the car, and she does have a red solo cup with a yellowish orange liquid.

And it was in the reflection of the glass.

Okay, let's get into episode six, the final show. Okay. I feel like this was. It's a beautiful episode. It ends on. I mean, I won't get to the ending, but the ending is stunning. We see her, you know, in the final moments leading up to this final show. I was a little bit surprised, and I shouldn't have been, but I was a little bit surprised how ready she was to be done.

[Chandler]

Yeah.

[Lauren]

You know, she says, you know, somebody.

[Chandler]

Asked her how she feels, and she says, I feel so proud, but so ready.

[Lauren]

I feel so proud and so ready. Like, she's not like, oh, I'm so sad. I can't believe this is the last time I'm gonna perform this.

She's excited for it to be done, I swear.

There's also another part in the documentary, and I. I forget which episode this is in, but I. Maybe it's in this one, but someone says, how are you? And she's like, I'm great. It's the last day. Or something like that.

There's some moment where she's like, it's great.

She's, like, pushing through.

I think this tour has just obviously been so exhausting that she's just burnt out. Yeah, you know, definitely. Which I relate to.

Yeah, absolutely. Okay. The biggest part for me in this episode is actually right at the beginning when she gets the letter from Travis.

And I didn't clock this in my first watch, and I needed to watch it a second time so that I could, you know, take some more notes. So when he writes her this, like. No, this nice, like, sweet little letter with the flowers, he says, you know, I'm. I'm forever grateful to the ERAS tour for blah, blah, blah. And, you know, because that night was the very beginning of me meeting the love of my life.

[Lauren]

Yeah.

[Chandler]

Lovely. Lovely thing to say. I just want to double tap for a second on kind of how early on into their relationship this was. So look. Look at this. So she gets this in December 2024. That is when the heirs tour concluded.

[Lauren]

Yeah.

Okay. They have only been together since, like, summer of 2023.

[Lauren]

Okay.

[Chandler]

But that's. And so all I'm saying and a half. Yeah, a year and a half. That, to me, is quite early to say the love of my life. I don't think so at all, really. I thought. I mean, I. I'm not saying it's, like, bad. I just thought it was like, it was clear that it was like, so on from the get go. I mean, you compare that to Joe.

No, for. I mean, we don't know when. When Joe said anything, but I think.

He said, I love you four months in. I think that's, like, usually within the first year, as I love you.

If it's not, it should be like, within the first six next month. First year. But I think that love of my life should be in year two. Yeah.

It was interesting to see her, like, reading this card because One thing I thought about was, like, we've never actually have footage of her, like, in love or in a. In a moment she sings about, you know, I mean, she sings about the experience of love so much, but we have never actually have footage of her, like high res footage of her in that.

In that moment. Yeah, Nothing like this. I mean, I think about. So we have the video of her singing to Joe during COVID Right, right.

Anyway, I just. I just had a moment there. I was like, wow, we're seeing what she sings about.

Yes, yes. And I didn't feel like she had some crazy reaction to these flowers, but I thought it would just seem like this wasn't uncommon. It wasn't uncommon for her to feel, like, very loved by him. Right.

[Lauren]

Well, I think he clearly sent her a huge bouquet before every. Before at every stop.

[Chandler]

Oh, I didn't know that. Yeah.

[Lauren]

Because there was. There's. If you watch the docu series, at the first stop she reads a card from Travis or someone says, these are from Travis. And then at the next stop there's another bouquet. And then she's. There's nothing on the card. And she says, I love that he doesn't even have to sign them anymore. Right? Yeah.

Oh, wow. Okay. I did not put that all together.

[Lauren]

And what's kind of funny is like, thank you for the lovely bouquet, you know?

Oh, I thought that's like, from her fans.

Well, anyway, she also got bouquet. She got her flowers from Travis as well.

This is just a perfect bookending episode.

Yeah. Were you a little bit scared? A little bit. Put on your heels by the words that she's doing the thing that she'll be remembered for now, which is there as tour. She says she has, like, it makes her depressed that pop culture is so obsessed with super young people. And she's saying, like, what a privilege it is to be doing the thing in her mid-30s, now that she's gotten to know herself a little bit more that she'll be known for.

Why? Because it makes me feel like. Like it's time is passing.

It just. No, it just feels like it's a little bit of a current call if the Heiress tour is the thing. Like, how much is in front of us as Swifties.

So there's a moment where Andrea, she goes to walk out to perform for the last time. And Andrea, she goes, let's see here. She goes, honey, honey, like this panicked voice. Okay. And she goes up to Taylor and they fist bump and she says, break a leg. And Taylor, you can tell, is kind of just like zombie through this moment.

[Chandler]

Yeah.

[Lauren]

So then Deandra turns back and leaves and like, you know, she's wished her while they fist bumped. She walks with Erica to the. To a door and she. And she turns around, panicked, and she goes, wait, hold on one second. And she goes to her mom, she says, mom, mom, do we do the thing? And then they fist bump again. And I think she fist bumps with Andrea before every single. Every performance, at least that Andrea is there for. And I think that, like, that's why Andrea panicked when they hadn't done it. And she's about to go out and that's why Taylor panicked when she, like, literally didn't even know that they had done it. Yeah, I clearly didn't pick up on this.

[Chandler]

No, I didn't. I didn't pick up on it as a diagnosis of mental illness.

[Lauren]

I just think that it's a little bit of like a, you know.

[Chandler]

Yeah, I'm sure it's a. It's a ritual. Andrea has the weight of the world on her shoulders. I love it when she came up with an end of an era because.
