I’m a questioner by nature, which is ideal for coaching, but I also love answering questions too. In today’s episode, I am answering a listener's question asking for suggestions for those who constantly write down notes and have trouble accessing that information later. This week, episode 120 of the Positively Living Podcast is about organizing notes and ideas for an effective information management system.

In this episode of the Positively Living Podcast, I’m sharing the importance of finding a way that works for YOU to store your collected information and actionable steps you can take right now to capture that information, process it properly, and store it in a way to easily access later.

The steps I cover to organize notes and ideas:

Finding a process or platform that works for you to collect and store information.
Doing a mind sweep or brain dump to reduce the clutter floating around in your head.
Creating a “to choose” list and organizing your information by the ways in which you will use it.
Making it a habit to set aside some extra time to process the information after collecting it.

You want to keep your process simple, being sure to consider what works now and what would be easiest for you going forward. Remember, your system won’t work if you don’t create a habit to go with it.
