A
UConn, surprise, surprise, was named the number one overall seed on the women's side after finishing this season with a perfect record of 34 and 0. UCLA, Texas and South Carolina are the other number one seeds. Are you surprised South Carolina got it or you.
B
You.
A
You were pretty confident. I was just. I was just asking. You guys got work.
B
Watch yourself. Watch yourself, watch yourself.
A
You guys got worked in a tight.
B
Watch yourself. And where's Tennessee at?
A
Same place that you were in the worst.
B
Where is Tennessee at, though?
A
Tennessee squaring up against NC State.
B
Rematch?
A
Yeah, it's a rematch and I'm just going to go off of history that we're the only team to appear in all 44 NCLA tournaments, so kick rocks. Okay. That's all I'll say. What's up, everyone? And welcome back to Post Moves. I'm Candice Parker here with my co host, Aaliyah Boston.
B
That's me. I'll just keep working on songs. Don't worry.
A
I love how you do like your backup, like you do your backup singer. And then I'm like, man, you're doing the backup. The.
B
Yeah, that's my bad.
A
Okay.
B
No, that's my bad.
A
Well, follow us at postmove show on
B
all socials and don't forget to subscribe on YouTube, Spotify, Apple or wherever you get your podcasts. New episodes drop every Wednesday.
A
Happy St. Patty's Day. I got on green socks. You can't pinch me.
B
Well, I actually forgot my green socks.
A
Hey, did you see that? The best city in the world. They colored the lake green. Do you know what city that is?
B
Well, you said the best city in the world, so I feel like in
A
the summer it's the best city in the world.
B
Chi town. Yep.
A
They always do the St. Patty's Day, like, parade and they have like, the water is all green and it looks gross, but it's kind of a thing.
B
But it's cool.
A
It's really cool. It really is. It's a really cool thing. What did you do this weekend? What did you do the past week since I've seen you?
B
Got my hair braided. Hold on.
A
Okay, I see the design.
B
Can you see? Can you see?
A
Oh, I see what you did there. That's nice. I like it.
B
I know.
A
Thank you. I like it a lot. I like a vision. I like it.
B
Thank you. Thank you so much. But I've really just been. Been in the gym a little bit, getting. Getting my groove, working on that groove. How'd that form look?
A
That was nice. I like it.
B
But Honestly, I've just been chilling. Like, how's your weekend?
A
My weekend was good. I've been working quite a bit. And so I did the Golden State Warriors Timberwolves game, and ant dropped 40, which was really cool. I think Ant is like.
B
He's so tough.
A
He's one of my favorite players, honestly, at this point in time. So I did their game, and then I caught a flight to Las Vegas. It's not what you think. I went there for a volleyball tournament. My daughter was playing volleyball this weekend, so it was gems on gems on gems on gems. And then, of course, food is my love language. So I ate a lot of great food. I tried this new steakhouse. It's fire. I'd never heard of it. It's called Coat.
B
Coat. I mean, I've never heard of it.
A
It's called Coat. It's like this Korean barbecue, but it's like a steakhouse. It's so fire. It was so good. Apparently, they have one in Miami, too.
B
You didn't want to tell me that when I was in Miami.
A
I got you. Next time. I got you. Okay. But it was. I'm a foodie, so I love all things food. So, literally, I wake up and I plan out what food we're gonna eat for the remainder of the day, and I plan it around.
B
Turn it. I travel with somebody like you. Hold on. Because I'm the type that. I'm like, oh, I'm hungry. What do you want to eat? I don't know.
A
Oh, no. I always know what I want to eat, and I plan it, like, days in advance.
B
Oh, I need to travel with you. Seriously?
A
Yeah, I need to.
B
Because we. With me.
A
No, I. We did Sinatras, where it was, like, the black truffle, like, the end of black truffle season. So we did, like, the pasta, and we had the. Ah, it was so good. Then we had a little branzino with that. And then the next night, we did steak. We had some little A5 wagyu steak. I'm a foodie, and we are doing. Yeah, like, just food on food. And then even for lunch, like, I love sushi. We. What's your favorite cuisine?
B
I mean, I'm not. I'm not picky. Like, I will always go, like, Caribbean first. I do like sushi, but I'mma keep it a buck. I don't do the whole raw sushi. It has to be cooked. I just need you to cook it. I. I don't play with all that.
A
So you're not omakase?
B
Like, absolutely not. No, absolutely not.
A
Okay, well, then maybe you shouldn't eat with me, because I like omakase. That's, like, my favorite thing in the world.
B
No, we're not. We're not going to do that, though. You know what I'm saying? Like, okay, how do you get your estate cooked?
A
Medium rare. We've already talked about this. Medium rare.
B
I need it, like, another opportunity.
A
I need it, like, borderline. Like, not, like, full mooing, but I need it like. Like, where it's not like, moo. Like, I need. Like, it's almost.
B
I don't even need a. You can see how. I didn't even see how I didn't. Okay, okay, okay.
A
Hey, so that prank you played on me where you said that Colston Loveland trade.
B
Yeah.
A
That he got traded. First of all, the fact that post moves would break that type of story.
B
That's so funny. Literally, so funny.
A
Second of all, you had people freaking out in the comments. Not only I had a reaction like this for, like, two seconds where I
B
was like, yeah, but you.
A
And then you said the Philadelphia was. No, but you said Philadelphia Eagles. And that's where I was like, no, that's not right.
B
Because why wouldn't they trade him there?
A
But the thing is, they had just traded DJ Moore, so I was like, I think she's mistaken. So I go to my phone to just check, but apparently a lot of people were. Were mad at the fact that.
B
Mad at AB7. Aww.
A
Yeah. Because don't play a joke like that. It's not even April Fools.
B
It is to me, any day. I want it to be April Fools. I feel like it should be. So.
A
But the fact that the Internet works the way it does where Chicago Bears fans, they were retweeting it. They were, like, asking what the Bears organization. Like, this is the life of a Bears fan. Like, oh, my gosh. One step forward, two steps back, and it's like, yeah, but why would post moves.
B
Why would. Because post moves is that girl. You know what I'm saying? Like, it makes sense. I would believe it.
A
What would our show be called if it was, like, football? It would be secondary defense.
B
Like, I don't even know terminology. Like, I know touchdown blitz.
A
That's what it'd be called.
B
Oh, blitz is good. You like it? That was smooth.
A
That was smooth.
B
Yeah, that was actually smooth.
A
Pretty cool. Yeah. Off the top of the dome. Aaliyah dancing in the fever practice gym. You neglected to tell me about this.
B
No. When I asked what you were doing TikTok era. So There's a TikTok trend where it's like, call your Uber. Like, it's time for you to go. So I posted it, and my caption was like, is my Uber on the way? And people were like, no, your Uber is canceled. I was like, hey, I get to stay.
A
So explain the trend in layman's terms. In 48.
B
It was more of like, someone came up with this. Like, I forgot what the BoP is, but obviously I didn't do it correctly. I was just vibing. It was, like, good to be back on the court. And it was like, swag. Everybody was like, hey, you're the best dancer in the world. And I was like, wow. I agree. You know what I'm saying? So I'm. Do you agree with that?
A
I do. Body Tea. Body. Tttt. Yep, yep, yep, yep.
B
It kills me when you say it. I love it.
A
Ttt. That's all Layla does. And she goes like that.
B
Oh, I love.
A
I cannot stand when she does that. Did you watch the Oscars on Sunday? There were a bunch of people that were having watch parties.
B
I wasn't one of them, though. I want to let you know that
A
I was a volleyball parent, so I was in the volleyball gym and not watching the Oscars. But I did catch the highlights, obviously.
B
So did I.
A
And I got. What did you think?
B
Slay? Honestly, I'm gonna be honest. I look at everyone's, like. I love everyone's outfits. That's really, like. I know. It's really nice. The awards are, like, really dope. But I'm like, an outfit girl. Like, let me see. Let me see.
A
I'm with you. I like looking at the Instagram highlights of, like, the Vanity Fair party.
B
Yeah, yeah.
A
So nice. I love.
B
So nice.
A
And honestly, heated rivalry. Connor. Connor story. Like, those that I just. In Hudson, like, I just. I love their fits. I love what they wore. I'm a big watch person now. I just got into watches. And so all the watches from the Oscars popped up. There were some really pretty. Pretty amazing watches. Yeah, Kieran, or what's his name? Macaulay Culkin's brother.
B
I'm not good.
A
Is it Kieran? I don't know.
B
Anyway, don't ask me, because he'll be mad at me.
A
His brother. He had a nice, nice little watch. I was like, let me borrow it. Let me borrow. Let me borrow that.
B
I was like, ask him to borrow it.
A
So Michael B. Jordan. I loved his speech. I'm not going to lie. I loved it. Shouted out his mom, of course, because mom Is, you know, all over. Yeah, all over. And then dad came in from Ghana to witness, which is incredible. Hey, did you follow, like, what everybody was going at Tiana Taylor for? Did you kind of follow?
B
I saw a little bit of it, yeah.
A
The Internet is, like, really funny.
B
Yeah.
A
Because it's kind of like you're damned if you do and damned if you don't.
B
If you don't.
A
Like, if you clap and you're excited now, she was a little OD with putting the director in a headlock. I'll give you. I'll give you that. Like, if I'm in a tux and you put me in a headlock, that's a little much. But I mean, like, she was excited for everyone that won. She was nominated and didn't win, but still was excited for others and cheering for others. So, yeah, the Internet is crazy, but shout out to Michael B. Jordan in Sinners acted his ass off playing two characters. Crazy man. Dreams do come true. But he knows he can still get that work in spades because you ask him what happened last time we played Spades. So if we had a. If they made a biopic about your life, which actress would play you?
B
You know who I'd want to play me for real, like, and you're gonna be like, Aaliyah. You said this girl. You said you say her name for everything. I think. I think I would love Kerry Washington to play me. Hear me out, though. I. Granted, she doesn't play basketball or sports in general, but listen to me. Listen to me. Listen. The dramatics. And people say that me being the baby of the family, like, I can be dramatic, which is very weird. Not. I'm not understanding it right. Don't get that concept. But she's so dramatic, like, all the time. And her facial reactions, her everything. Like, now, granted, we will really have to teach her how to hoop. I don't know how many lessons that I'll take, but it's like, I'll get it done. I'll get it done where I want to get it done.
A
Just love Kerry Washington and Scandal when she does that lip. Like, the lip.
B
Nasty work. It is too good. Are you. Are you trying to do it? Try.
A
Yo, she be doing that lip.
B
She'd be, like, so bad. So I wish I could have sod in Scandal.
A
Gary Washington's lip. Like, you know, the president and. Unless, like, you know, Scandal when she. Like.
B
And she.
A
What about Vermont?
B
Because she was serious about Vermont. No, she was serious.
A
I watched about Vermont religiously. I just rewatched I watched Scandal religiously until she moved into the White House and then moved out. And that was when I was like, this is out of control. Like, the dead bodies, the hiding, all that stuff. I believe that. But the fact that they would let a side piece move into the White
B
House, she wasn't just a side piece. She was the side. Like, she was not a regular. Don't play. Don't play.
A
That was when I was like, shonda Rhymes. You had me.
B
Are you kidding me? Don't play her way. No. Yes, there is a way.
A
I might have to rewatch. You know why?
B
Up until that point, Ms. Fitz, she knew what the deal was. Like, she.
A
No, 100% all for that.
B
But it's like, girl, I might have to say, but the American people are
A
going to let a side piece move into the White House.
B
Once again, not a side piece. She's the. Okay. She is the one. Don't play. Don't play. With Ms. Kerry Washington.
A
Well, speaking of acting, that actually brings us perfectly into our next segment. It's time for our driver's seat moment of the week, presented by Volkswagen, where we spotlight someone who really took control this week, owned the moment, and made it count. And I've mentioned his name 10 to 12 times before this, and I'm going to do it again this week. Michael B. Jordan is in the driver's seat.
B
Ooh, that's a good pick.
A
Everybody's driver's seat. Everybody's just closing their eyes and, like, just letting Michael B. Jordan pick him up in the driver's seat because he won an Oscar for best actor for his dual role as twin brothers, Smoke and Stack and Sinners, directed by Ryan Coogler. It was his first Oscar win and nomination. He played two people in the role, and it was really playing two different people. And he spoke in an interview about how he wore, like, smaller shoes for Smoke and bigger shoes for Stack just so that he could get in the role better. People actually thought Michael B. Jordan had a twin. That's how well he played this role. I really enjoyed it. I really enjoyed his speech. And he paid homage to all the people that came before him. I mean, he even gave it up to, you know, the black women in Halle Berry that won the award. He talked about Denzel and Sidney Poitier, and I just really loved his speech and just his authenticity. And, you know, he's played so many different roles. You think about, man, like, how many different roles has this dude played in? And you think about Creed, you think about Fruitville Station, where he Gets shot Hardball. I didn't realize he was in Hardball until I went back and watched it. Black Panther, obviously Sinners. I mean, you go down the list of movies that he's been in. So I just feel like this is just unbelievable for him. So shout out to Michael B. Jordan. Did you see that? Some of the Twitterville and Twitter universe said that there's an actor that's LeBron B. Jordan. And we'll be debating this later on and whether LeBron B. Jordan is better than Michael B. Jordan.
B
Oh, my gosh.
A
Well, his parents knew what he was doing, naming him after the greatest basketball player ever to then now be one of the the greatest actors ever. So shout out to Michael B. Jordan. Annie hit up in and out after.
B
I know. I saw that everyone was taking pictures of him as he's trying to sit down, eat his burger, which I'm kind
A
of like, that's an LA thing. I'm gonna leave it at that.
B
Candace, you know what's coming up next
A
month, Girl, I'm a busy woman. You gonna have to narrow it down a little bit.
B
I'm weak. But I'm talking about your birthday.
A
Oh, okay, okay, okay. You better not say my age this time though.
B
I would never. Even though you say mine all the time. I'm just trying to get some birthday gift ideas. Spring is always the time for a little wardrobe refresh. Are we thinking new jeans? A linen suit, maybe some pastels? Seeing a little color in this new age of yours?
A
A little color is wild. But honestly, I always struggle finding good jeans. Tall girls in jeans. Not always a good mix.
B
You're telling me. Okay, but wait. How do you feel about barrel jeans?
A
I've been seeing them everywhere right now, so totally confused. You're going to have to explain what those are.
B
Okay, so they're kind of relaxed through the leg. A little curve shave showed up. Body te super flattering. And wide leg is still in crop styles. Even balloon denim is having a moment right now.
A
Okay, I'm listening. I. I could be down.
B
See, this is the intel I needed. Thank you. I'm headed to Macy's. Done and done. You can shop in store or@macy's.com.
A
wendy's really outdid themselves with these new Biggie deals. At $4, $6 and $8, the new Biggie deals are bigger and biggier than ever.
B
I know what you're thinking. How could the Biggie get even bigger and better? These new Biggie deals are perfect because you get to choose between the $4 Biggie Bites and the $6 Biggie Bag or the $8 Biggie Bundle.
A
And if you're feeling something snacky, you can get that $4 biggie bites with a JBC and a four piece nugget.
B
Feeling something medium. Get yourself a $6 biggie bag with JBC, four piece nuggets, a small soft drink and a Junior fry.
A
If you want to go full Biggie, you can get the $8 Biggie bundle with your choice of two sandwiches, a small soft drink and a Junior fry.
B
The choice is yours for a pretty Biggie Deal. Gotta be Wendy's. U.S. price and participations may vary. Single items at regular price. Prices may be higher in Alaska, California and Hawaii.
A
These days, it's easy to sit back and just let life happen. You get comfortable and suddenly you're just moving on autopilot.
B
But drivers aren't like everyone else. They see and do things differently.
A
They live life by their own rules, and they certainly don't follow the crowd.
B
That's why this is a reminder for me from Volkswagen and from drivers everywhere to actually take control.
A
Make the most of every day. Take your own path.
B
Grab the wheel. Get in the driver's seat of your own life.
A
Because honestly, what are you waiting for?
B
Head over to vw.com and see what's waiting for you.
A
All right, it's time for what we want to talk about. Let's see.
B
Go.
A
We got a lot to talk about. USA Basketball.
B
Yes. They're on a roll right now. Four. Zero.
A
I mean, they're always, always on a roll. At this time of this recording, USA is 4. 0 in the FIBA women's basketball world cup qualifying tournament. Dominating. Having played Senegal, Italy and New Zealand. Each win has come by at least 36 points, including a 64 point blowout of Senegal.
B
Yeah, that was nasty.
A
They play Spain today, which is Tuesday and will have already happened by the time you're listening to this. So over under 30, I would say it's Spain. So, yeah, 30. 30 different starting lineups every game, trying out different rotations. Do you have any thoughts on, like, pairs together? I. I mean, I know this is difficult because I know we're trying out different starting lineups, but this isn't the team.
B
Yeah.
A
Because we are missing,
B
like, everyone.
A
A lot of people. Like, this was cute. This was really cute.
B
Yeah, I, I actually like when Caitlin and Ryan are on the floor together. It's like fully spaced. I like it a lot. And I think Cee does a great job finding Ryan. I think Ryan has been playing well this Entire tournament, too. So it's great to see.
A
I will be completely honest. I have caught the highlights of the games, but I have not sat down and watch a full game. And obviously the highlights can be a little deceiving. So I'll try to catch the game today. But my boss has been really working me. Been working, working a lot. I'm preparing for NCAA tournament, which is always fun. So learning eight teams is going to be crazy. The team is now being led by Phoenix Mercury coach Nate Tibbets because coach Carol Lawson returned to Duke for the NCAA tournament.
B
Yeah.
A
Other than Ryan, who has impressed you thus far?
B
Ooh, my girl, kp. My girl, kp. I think Kelsey has been playing really well. Like, I think she controls the pace. You see her picking up that. That ball from the inbound. That girl moving her puppies. So I think KP has also been playing really, really well. Well.
A
Caitlin Clark is leading Team USA in points, assist and efficiency. She's averaging 12.8 points, 6.3 assists and efficiency. 15.5. Angel Reese leads in rebounding per game eight. And Paige two way. Two way player. Beckers is leading in steals with 2.3. Monique Billings in blocks. Um, I'm not sure if listeners realize this, but in fiba, you get an assist if you pass to someone who gets fouled and makes a free throw, which I would like them to add to the wnba because I know that I would have had a lot more triple doubles if they made it. If they were. If making the free throw gives you an assist. That's wild.
B
Yeah. That's crazy. That's crazy.
A
Shout out to Feba for setting the bar. I like it. So obviously USA Basketball is taking care of things in between the lines. Let's talk about if you look good, you play good. Because USA historically has had some pretty dope jerseys. Just being honest, it's always fun to watch the team, you know, obviously come together and do all that type of stuff. But every era of USA Basketball kind of has its own identity, which I love. And not just with the players, but with, like, the jerseys and the gear and all of that. And obviously we talked about on the court stuff, and getting buckets, which is the main point, and winning gold medals, which USA Women's basketball has done a lot. But let's talk about the jerseys. So we're going to take a look back at some of the USA Basketball unicorns from the Olympic years and rank our favorites. Okay, you got to throw out yours. What is your favorite?
B
I love the. Okay, you're going to get mad at me. But I love the 2024 one. Like, I love that one. That one is cute. Like, the entire. Like, the shorts fit perfectly. They're not super big.
A
Okay. You have to also take into account the style and the time period. You said the shorts feet fit super good.
B
Because guess what?
A
In 20 years, when you're sitting here with your co host that is 24 years old, you're gonna look back and they're gonna be like, why are your shorts so tight?
B
You're gonna be like, actually, yes, Slay queen.
A
No.
B
That's what they're gonna say.
A
So, anyway, why were you doing tick tocks about Ubers? What the heck is an Uber? That's what they're gonna do.
B
Huh? I can tell you which one wasn't my favorite was 1976.
A
I mean, the shorts fit. That was your criteria. Look at the short. Well, you weren't allowed to tuck in the jersey. I just made that up. I don't know if you were allowed to tuck in the jersey. So Your vote is 2024. So you are a victim of the moment, basically.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, you just go with, well, I'm
B
looking at the cut. I'm looking at the fit. Okay, but let me get another pick, though.
A
I would have to go with 1996. The 96 jerseys are epic and forever will, in my mind, be like, what USA Basketball jersey should look like. And then I would also say 2004 is pretty dope.
B
That's the one I was gonna go with.
A
Yeah, but you didn't. You didn't go.
B
But I said I get another. I get another pick. That's what I said. But then you made your pick before I could make my second pick.
A
You made all your picks. You talked about jersey sizes and how they fit and.
B
Yeah, but I was only one pick.
A
So you're telling me Sue Bird's shorts are too long in 2012?
B
They're way too long. Why are they.
A
You should have seen my shorts. My shorts. And I wear them.
B
I prefer 1988 before I get 2012. Like, look at those shorts, yo.
A
That's wild. But it's like the Jheri Curl. Is that 88? Yeah, the Jerry curl for me. Let's look at the. Let's vote. Let's vote on the hairstyles. We got Pat with the. With the bucket cut.
B
Yeah, her cut.
A
84.
B
Nasty work, right?
A
We got Lisa Leslie with the, like, Cali. You know, like, the Cali loose. Yeah, like, wet hair, but it's not wet. But that's my Favorite look.
B
You got sue. Dtkp. Everyone slicked up.
A
Slick back. Blunt.
B
Coach Daily slicked up.
A
We got Teresa Edwards in 92. She had, like, the straight back braids. I remember, like, see, everything slays.
B
It's just the cut. Honestly, I do like, though, that they went. Obviously, they kind of went away from the red. The red, like, outline, which. I like the red outline a lot, actually.
A
I'm sorry, but 96 is fire. 96 Jersey.
B
No, 96 is.
A
96 is forever epic. So I voted. The listeners said that 96 was the best jersey. I don't make the rules. That's just what they said.
B
They haven't even listened.
A
Did you hear the listeners?
B
They said they have not listened yet.
A
Let's look at my jerseys. 08. 2012, 2016. 2016 is a little asterisk because I got cut from the team, so I didn't really actually get to wear it.
B
But.
A
But I look cute in all the photo shoots because I was in the promos. I was in all the promos. I was, like, literally home on my couch looking at the Rio Olympics. Like, damn, that's me.
B
Okay, but can we also. I know we're talking about the jerseys, but, babe, can we talk about your eyebrows slay? Like. Like, your eyebrows are eating.
A
Yeah, but it's, like, thin now. That's not in, apparently.
B
But it looked, like, very good right there.
A
Which of these jerseys is. I think I have a preference.
B
But I. I mean, I'm sorry. 2008 is just not gonna get my vote.
A
Well, the arm sleeve. My shoulder sleeve, because my shoulder was all jacked up. Kind of messed up the jersey.
B
I'm a. I'm a color girl, so. I really like the red. Like, I really like the red. It pops. I could picture myself in the red. Obviously, I'd have to work on those shorts because. Are you sagging?
A
I am. I always sag. In fact, it's like, I don't know where I'm supposed to wear my jeans, because my jean. My. No, for real. I sag in my jeans. I sagging sweats.
B
I sag in sweats really bad. Like, it's like, I'll walk around people like, Aaliyah, why are you sagging like you went to a prep school in Massachusetts? Like, what are you sagging about? And I'm like, It's just the movement.
A
I always pull my shorts down and extra two or three inches. And I'm definitely talking in this photo. I'm looking to my left talking.
B
Okay, but you also swole.
A
Yeah, I Gotta get my arms back. It was all push ups. It was all push ups. That's what it was. And I was tan. Look at me. I'm so embarrassed. I live in California and I look like this. I'm a sugar cookie. That's what Kalia Copper calls me. She calls me a sugar cookie.
B
No, that's valid.
A
Yeah, the red jersey. But I definitely. I'm. Now you just made me have motivation to get my arms back like that. I gotta get my arms like that. Okay, that's cool. So speaking of swole and speaking of dominance, I don't know where that transition came from, but that's just the two words that came to my mind. Bam's 83 points.
B
I can't lie. That was crazy.
A
You didn't know where I was gonna go there, did you?
B
I had no idea. I was trying to figure out where you were going, but that really felt like a good. Really? That was a really good one. I can't lie. The 83 points was. That was insane.
A
Bam out of bio, beat Kobe Bryant's record for second highest scoring points in NBA history with 83 points last Tuesday in the heats victory, 150 to 129 over the Wizards. I mean, he had 31 in the first quarter.
B
Yeah, that first quarter was actually crazy, though.
A
Finish the third quarter with 70, and then at that point, it's kind of
B
like fouling and like sending him to the line every time. I'm like, first of all, if someone already has 70 on my dome, I genuinely am not trying to give them a single. Like, I am not.
A
Yeah, but what are you going to give them? The bucket? It was like, straight line drive. Yes.
B
I don't.
A
Okay. Some people disputed and had a lot to say to me. Anytime anybody can get 83 points, that's
B
literally just crazy in general. Exactly.
A
I don't care if you're shooting 43 free throws in a game. Only Wilt Chamberlain with his 100 point game in 1962 has scored more. Kobe Bryant dropped 81 points in a game in 2006. So in the modern era, Bam has the most amount of points. You know, he made 36 free throws. And a lot of people criticized the way in which. And honestly, like, I think it's who Bam as a player is. Like, you know, you have that expectation for Kobe or Luka or Kevin Durant or, or. Or. Or Steph Curry, but because it was Bam, I think a lot of people had a lot to say when really I think UD said it best. Like, Bam is actually who all of us could be. Like, he's got drafted into the league. He developed. He's not necessarily a scorer. He's worked his way into what he. What it. Where he's at right now. Like, people should actually be more excited that it isn't somebody that just has this like, ability to put the ball in the basket that none of us could ever dream of having. So I thought it was really special. He's such a great human being. I mean, his mom talks about growing up in a, you know, a trailer park and you know how his mom has always been the hardest worker and she was there to witness it. Asia Wilson was there to witness it. Who was his girlfriend. Yeah, I just thought it was. It was unbelievable. So obviously a lot of people have a lot to say, but of course,
B
always I just did. What I didn't like personally was I saw it was on Twitter or something and Asia. Well, Asia said something like, well, now I just have something to work to work towards. Because he was like, he has the highest score like in the house or whatever. And she was like, now I have some more for. And please don't. 53.
A
53. I told already and I told Asia. I was like, listen, so now you got to get 84.
B
Are you kidding me? But on who? 84 on who, please.
A
That game fever. But also she has eight. But also she has eight less minutes to get it in. So that's true. So let's like put the like the equivalent of what 83 in the NBA would be in the WNBA with minutes. My math isn't math. Yeah, anybody that wants to send that in, please send it in. A lot of things were happening in the NBA. We're going to talk about it because we love giving guys love to, you know, they deserve a platform, so we're going to give them a platform to be able to succeed. SGA was streaking. And I say that in streaking in 20 point games, will Chamberlain held this record for I think how many years? Six decades.
B
Six decades. Jeez.
A
So 60 years. Wilt Chamberlain held the 20 plus point game streak where Wilt's record of 126 games was crazy.
B
Crazy record. That's a crazy record.
A
SGA streak started November 1, 2024. He broke the record on March 12, 2026 against the Boston Celtics with 127 games. And this was a game. I was in the studio for this one. It was back and forth. It was like game winners. He had to hit the game winner to be able to go ahead. I mean, Obviously, he had 17 at halftime, so it was like never right there. Yeah, it was never like, is he gonna get the streak? It was more so like, are they gonna win him? Be happy with getting the streak. But yeah, he averaged 32 and a half points in the 127 games, which is absolutely insane.
B
That's bananas.
A
And then on Sunday, this is how fast life comes at you. SGA barely extended a streak of 20 plus point games to a historic 128 games by recording 20 points in 10 assist as the Thunder defeated Minnesota 116 to 103. He had 10 points heading into the fourth, so he barely got it, but he got it and the streak continues. Hey, Aaliyah, did you know this known fact? So in doing my research for the game, because Everybody knew that SGA was going to break the streak. Wilt Chamberlain had two separate streaks. One was 96 games, I believe, and one was 126 games. Those streaks were within like, they were like 63 to 64 or something like that. Or 60, 61 to 64, something crazy like that. The reason why Wilt Chamberlain's streak did not continue was because. Because in between those streaks, a ref threw him out.
B
What?
A
He threw him out of the game. So that's why the streak had to restart.
B
You're lying.
A
His name was Red Oats. That sounds like a ref that would throw people out. So that is why.
B
Wait, that's crazy.
A
So basically, who knows how many games
B
it could have been. Yeah.
A
Continued, which is insane. After the game, we were fortunate enough to have SGA on the show. And SGA is known for his, like, his bars during.
B
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
A
During his captions of his Instagram. Right. So the crew was like, hey, let's all come up with captions and read them to him. So in my mind I feel young. So I'm like, I'm going to read him this fire caption. This caption about to light the world on fire. Like, people are going to be trying to sign me to write, like to be a ghostwriter.
B
I don't know if they were ever going to do that. I don't know.
A
I got some bars. I'm not going to lie. I got some bars. So basically we all read him a caption in the post game show. And this is me and what I said and his reaction, sga, I went a little elbows ain't been this cool since Ludo was throwing him. Brought the midi back and snatched the streak number two. Weltnum bars. I don't understand the first one. Yo, you're too young to understand Ludacris throwing bows. Like, what?
B
Yeah, yeah.
A
I don't understand.
B
UD wins.
A
Ud.
B
Great bar. Okay, okay. Hold on though.
A
Hold on though.
B
It was. It was hard.
A
Can I just say this in my head on set when I said that? And I just knew that I was about to drop the mic. Like, the mic was about to drop. I was picturing, you know, that like, meme where the person's running and it's like, 1986, 40 is coming for you and your back is arching and you're running away from 40. That was when I never. I felt 40. I'm not 40 yet. I'll be 40 in a month. But I've never felt older in my life. When he said he didn't understand the first part, I'm like, you don't understand. Please, Aaliyah, tell me, you know, throw them both.
B
No, I know it. I know it.
A
Throw them both. Like. And he gets to the elbows. Like, those are his spots. So I was like, I just want
B
to know, like, how you came up
A
with that though, because I. I'm.
B
Wow.
A
I have bars in my head, man. I just. I don't ever say them out loud. Like, if you want me to write you a rap for that.
B
No, I might.
A
I might need one about your game
B
or like, no, because I feel like.
A
No, I got you. Like, it'll be okay.
B
So. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Bet.
A
Okay. On one of my many plane rides, I will write you. Because my brothers and I, we grew up just writing lyrics. And we would, like, in our long car rides to my grandparents house, we would just like, rap be going.
B
Okay.
A
Yeah. I'm not trying to be a suburban kid that's rapping, but I can't write a little bit.
B
Wait, wait, wait, wait. Talking about that, have you seen the trend? Okay, see on TikTok, where they're like, square up to the kids.
A
I did it to my son. Should I post it?
B
Wait, you should post it? Are you kidding me? I sit there and I watch every single trend. Like, my favorite one, there was one, the mom was like, hey, square up. And she was like, should I put myself in a square? And she starts going like this. And then she, like, gets all small. I love that trend so much. No, I love that trend. I just had to mention that I
A
just sent it to you, and you have to tell me whether I should post it or not, because I did it with my suburban son, my valley. My valley boy son, and he did not disappoint So I love that trend. That's one of my favorite. That's one of my favorite trends.
B
No, I feel like you automatically have to post it. I'm sorry.
A
Like, okay, I'm going to the rules. I'm going to. I'm going to. But can you please be on my side here? Like, that was a bar.
B
No, that was good. That was really good. That was really good.
A
Okay, cool. Our brackets. Our brackets are 100% right now. Every year I think this is the year I'm going to win the bracket. And every year I don't. Men's and women's March Madness is set. Brackets are set. My head is going 50 million miles an hour because I have to learn eight teams in, like, four days, but I'm not panicking. Nobody's panicking. Everything's fine. Men's March Madness. Let's specify men. We'll. We'll let them go first. Duke, Arizona, Michigan, and Florida claim the number one seeds in the men's tournament. Actually, Duke, Arizona won their conference tournaments. Michigan lost to Purdue, and Florida got their ass whooped by Vanderbilt. Well, the reason why I said Florida, I have nothing against the Gators because I'm actually covering their game in Tampa at the. At the Tampa site, first and second round. But my nephew goes to Florida. And when Vanderbilt whooped Tennessee the day before, they didn't whoop us. They just beat us. He was, like, doing a little side smile. He had something to say. I could see that he was ready to text me something. And then the next day, all I did was have to send a little devil. Devilish face because I was like, yeah, you.
B
Because now what?
A
That's what happens. But they claim the number one seed. Duke enters the tournament as the number one overall seed. The East Region is actually looking pretty tough. UConn, Kansas, UCLA, and Michigan State all in the East Region, which actually is insane to think. UConn fell short to St. John's in their conference tournament, but UConn is always a tough out in the tournament. And then obviously, Kansas with Peterson. Just anytime you have one of the best players in the team, and then you never count out Tom Izzo because Michigan State is always. I mean, it's like, you know, I can't wait.
B
I Love it.
A
Sweet 16. Yeah. I can't wait. You filling out a men's bracket.
B
I've thought about it. I've thought about it. I feel like I should. Like, I feel like I'm gonna be really good. I watch so much basketball. If you want help, I can help. You.
A
My daughter hit me and asked me to help her in her bracket at school, and I was like, well, sometimes the experts are really wrong. Like, really sometimes in picking March Madness.
B
It's just sometimes you just have to. Teams can get them, man. They can just get a team on a bad day.
A
So who do you have winning men's or have you picked yet?
B
I haven't picked, but I'm gonna go. Duke or Houston? Like, I ride for Houston, man.
A
I know. I feel so bad for Houston. They lost on a devastating last year, and then they just lost to Arizona in their conference tournament championship. Yeah, I like Sharp. I like Flemings, Kings and Flemings.
B
Flemings is really good.
A
Yeah, he's a Hooper.
B
Really good.
A
He's a Hooper. So you have K. You said you have Houston or Duke. Okay, I never pick Duke. I don't like Duke. Even if I think Duke's gonna win. I would say I like Michigan.
B
Ooh.
A
Or Iowa State. Those are my two.
B
Okay.
A
Yeah. Michigan or Iowa State. On the women's side, UConn, surprise, surprise, was named the number one overall seed on the women's side after finishing the season with a perfect record of 34 and 0. UCLA, Texas, and South Carolina are the other number one seeds. Are you surprised South Carolina got it, or you. You were pretty confident. I was just. I was just asking. You guys got worked.
B
Watch yourself. Watch yourself. Watch yourself.
A
You guys got worked in a title.
B
Watch yourself. And where's Tennessee at?
A
Same place that you were in the. If you ate first, you last.
B
Where's Tennessee at, though?
A
Tennessee squaring up against NC State.
B
Rematch?
A
Yeah, it's a rematch, and I'm just going to go off of history that we're the only team to appear in all 44 NCLA tournaments, so. Kick rocks. Okay. That's all I'll say. Do I feel good? Yeah, I always feel good. Do I feel confident? Yeah, I always feel confident. So that's what we're about to do.
B
Okay. Congratulations.
A
Yeah, we're about to shock the world. We about to go through. We about to run through that regional. Yeah, we got to run through that regional. Watch out. No, but it just speaks to how deep the sec.
B
No, seriously.
A
On the women's side and the men's side, men's side, got a record 10 in women's side, I'm not sure who got it.
B
I feel like there's four on. On South Carolina side in general. Like, I'm like, what's going on? South Carolina got in Oklahoma, lsu, Texas,
A
Ole Miss, Vandy, Tennessee Tennessee.
B
That's eight. Is that it?
A
You said Oklahoma.
B
They're on our side. I don't know. Who was.
A
South Carolina.
B
That's eight of them, though.
A
Texas, lsu. We forgot lsu. That's nine.
B
That's where I added them.
A
Did you.
B
Eight or nine?
A
Kentucky. You didn't say Kentucky.
B
Oh, I didn't say Kentucky. So that's nine for sure.
A
Alabama didn't say.
B
Oh, that's 10. That's good.
A
Yeah.
B
So we're at 10.
A
We're 10 and 10. I think that's pretty solid on both sides. And here's my thing. I'm all for, like, depth and playing a tough schedule and all those things, but you should not be penalized for having a tough conference. We saw it in football where it's like, yes, Big Ten, congratulations to Indiana. I thought they were a great team. But if Indiana is in the SEC and they're playing Alabama, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, you're playing these every single week. Of course you're going to stumble.
B
Yeah.
A
So I just. I don't think you should be penalized for that. But who do you have winning on the women's side?
B
I'm South Carolina.
A
Do you really have them, or is this like your public bracket and your secret bracket? Because I'm going to be honest, I used to do a public bracket in a secret bracket.
B
I want you to know I will never vote against my Gamecocks.
A
I don't ever vote public against Tennessee again.
B
No, publicly, I don't ever vote.
A
But notice how I did when your House on the line, you vote a little different.
B
Listen, House on the line are not Gamecocks, baby. But once again, we have. I feel like we have half the SEC on our side, which, I mean, good and whatever, but you're very familiar with them.
A
We'll see.
B
So we'll see. Okay. Do you. Okay. Who do you have winning?
A
I have Tennessee winning the entire thing. On both sides.
B
That's unserious.
A
And then on the women's side, I can't. Okay.
B
I know you. I know you don't.
A
I mean, UConn is good. Like, Yukon is really, really good. Do I trust ucla? No, I don't trust ucla. I'll just be honest. I hope they prove me wrong. But in terms of, like, are they going to be able to defend Sarah strong, which is what everybody has to. As well as easy Fudd.
B
Yep.
A
As well as be able to come down against UConn's pressure and not turn the ball over, which I think. Ledger. Is it Ledger. Walk Ledger. Walker.
B
Yeah.
A
She can handle the ball, which I think is a great addition, you know, in terms of a year of experience and all those things. Kiki, she has to play well. So who has the greatest shot to me is Texas, because Texas is going to be able to defend their physical. They're big. They have a bucket getter. I have UConn winning. If I'm betting my house. If I am betting just a couple hundred dollars, I would probably. I would take Texas.
B
That's pretty good. And I think, based on brackets, South Carolina, Yukon have to meet Final Four.
A
That's actually the best time to meet and sneak up on somebody. Like, the semifinals are the time to actually win, because you're already. You're there, you're thinking ahead. You've gotten, like, all these pats on the back. You've gone to banquets, you've gotten all these individual awards and all this stuff. That's the time to sneak up on a team on. Honestly, March is my favorite time of year.
B
Hmm. What? So March is your favorite time of year? Candace, you know what also happened in March? This was, like, back when. Let's go back, back, back, back, back, back. I might have been four and a half. Do you remember, like, all. That's literally almost 20 years. I'm sorry. You made history as the first woman to dunk in an NCAA tournament game. Bang.
A
Dude, that was 20 years ago.
B
Bang.
A
That was 20 years ago. Which is wild.
B
Yeah, I was about four and a half when I don't. Congrats, though. Like, what do you remember most? Like, was that, like, lit, like, when you were during. You're like, oh, I'm about to do this.
A
It was crazy because I sat out the whole year before the NCLA tournament because I red shirted. And I remember, like, sitting at the Final Four in Indianapolis and we lost to Michigan State, and it was hell that entire off season. And I stayed both summer sessions and I lifted and I got my body right, and I finally felt good. And I remember being like, if I get the opportunity to play in the NCLA tournament, I'm gonna show out. And we fell short that year. We got to the Elite Eight. We didn't get to the Final Four. We lost to North Carolina. But being able to dunk twice actually, in that game. And the thing that I was most proud of was, you know, obviously the breakaway was cool.
B
A. I can't. Honestly, though, running. Running past, like, I would never even be caught dead near you. Like, you got it, twin. Because now you basically caught a body.
A
Nah, it was. It Was crazy, you know, to be at ODU and like the moment I didn't really see her, to be honest with you. So I kind of went up. I knew she was like, on my heels, but I went up to dunk. Like, you know, I knew I was going to try to throw it down. And then the second dunk was in the half court, which is what I was most proud of, was like off a back cut. And I just went in and just rose up in the half court. And I don't know, I think I would, like, immediately thought about last. The previous year when I was sitting on the sideline and I just was excited to be on the court and to be playing and all of those things. So it's. It's crazy. Time flies. 20 years.
B
I feel like, I feel like you said that you and your brothers were like, super competitive with everything. So are you gonna show it to, like, Goose and Hart and be like, at what? When y' all going to be dunking?
A
The problem is, is now on YouTube, my videos, it's like pixely. Like, you can. Oh, like, I'm so old.
B
Don't say that to me.
A
Go say that. Like, Goose is like, why? Why is it old? Like, well, that's the era mommy played in.
B
Okay, Candice, be real. Did you ever get nervous during tournament time?
A
Nervous? Probably not. Locked in? Absolutely. I think there's definitely a difference.
B
That's such a bet. Answer. Like, girl, you didn't get nervous.
A
That's experience talking. And experience tells you you don't want a championship without the right team. Period.

No, we taking your money now for
B
the sake of time, we're going to fill out our bracket. Candace. And you better.
A
I think we need to come up with a prize for the top post up, though.
B
Ooh.
A
So like maybe like top post up gets to sit courtside with me and heckle Aaliyah Boston.
B
Heck. Now that's a choice. That's a choice. But I like the prize. I like it. I like it.
A
I think we like we do something with one of your games. I think that would be fun. Maybe not courtside because. No, I'm just kidding. I want to say courtside so I can heckle you.
B
Whatever. Let's fill out our bracket. You better pick good. Not playing around.
A
Do you think we can actually agree though is the thing?
B
Yes.
A
I mean, we have to agree on a champion. Do you think we agree?
B
That's easy. South Carolina. So let's continue.
A
Exactly. This is what I'm talking about. All right, let's do this. Let's do it. Okay.
B
UConn.
A
Yeah, UConn.
B
I say Iowa State only because Dominique Darius for Syracuse is out and I feel like she's been like their leader and she's not going to be playing.
A
That's the only reason why you say Iowa State. I mean, not Audi Crooks or. Oh, my gosh, what's her name? Jada. Yeah, Jada Williams.
B
I mean, yes, but like, Syracuse is like on a hot streak. I feel like. So we're gonna go Iowa State.
A
Yeah, we're going Iowa State and we're going Maryland.
B
Yep.
A
Okay.
B
North Carolina.
A
Notre dame.
B
Notre dame. Ohio state.
A
I don't ever trust ohio state, ever.
B
I know, but I. I'm.
A
They losing every sweet, so it's gonna 16. Sweet 16. Ooh, shout out to colorado. Colorado.
B
Okay, slay. I'll. I'll ride with you on colorado. A couple upsets and then we got vandy. I like it. So uconn. Iowa state. I got uconn. What you think?
A
Don't disagree.
B
Yukon, maryland, unc.
A
I think north carolina.
B
Me too. Good. Good pick. I think maryland is capable, but I think unc is going to do it. Ooh, notre dame. Ohio state.
A
This is the year. Then I'll.
B
That you're going to pick ohio state.
A
That I'll pick ohio state.
B
Okay. Okay. I ride with you. Vandy. I'm going vandy over colorado.
A
Vandy.
B
Yep.
A
Actually. Mm. Mm. I think we pick notre dame. Cause hannah hidalgo ain't losing me. I know, but second round, let's do. Let's do notre dame, and then I'm gonna have this game be kind of crazy maybe.
B
Okay. Uconn, unc. I have uconn. Notre Dame. Van, this really would. This really would be a good game. And I'm for sure going with Vandy. Now. I think she's. I think Hannah is going to try and make Michaela Blakes work for everything.
A
Michaela Blakes is too big.
B
No, but she's gonna make a shake. Yeah, but Hannah doesn't care.
A
No, I'm not saying Hannah cares. I'm saying I don't know if I put Hannah on.
B
Oh, I'm looking at. Maybe on the. On the freshman point guard.
A
Yeah. And make her. Make it difficult for her to bring it up.
B
I go Vandy. But what do you.
A
You got Vandy. All right. I agree.
B
Okay. I mean, sec.
A
You know, if you are gonna lose just throwing this out there. If you are gonna lose, it is usually to go to the final four or in the semifinals. That's usually where the biggest stumbles come.
B
Who do you got? UConn. Vandy.
A
UConn
B
slay.
A
Okay. I can't believe I just said that out loud.
B
Okay, Regional two, ucla. Ca. Baptist. I got ucla.
A
Yep.
B
Oklahoma State. Princeton.
A
I don't know. Princeton.
B
Princeton is a. I.
A
Let's go do it.
B
Okay.
A
We're gonna go Princeton. Okay.
B
Ole Miss. Gonzaga. I'm sticking. Sec, baby. Yeah. Ole Miss. Minnesota. Green Bay. Minnesota.
A
You think so? Green Bay can shoot that thing. I watched him play earlier in the year. Oh, my gosh.
B
What?
A
I think moving that thing around. Okay, I'm gonna take.
B
No, let's rock her scissors.
A
I haven't seen Minnesota play like that
B
and I haven't seen Green Bay so rock.
A
I've seen Green Bay one time and they were shooting that thing, so it's
B
rock, paper, scissors, shoot. Okay. Okay, wait.
A
I'm Green Bay. You're in Minnesota.
B
Yes.
A
Okay.
B
Ready?
A
Rock. Okay, wait. What? Go.
B
Rock, paper, scissors, shoot. Yo, you're. See how you're delayed?
A
Yeah. All right. Too. Go ahead.
B
Okay. Minnesota. Okay. Baylor or Nebraska? Richmond. Baylor.
A
Yeah.
B
Duke. Charleston. Duke. Texas Tech. Villanova. Texas Tech.
A
I got Nova.
B
You got no.
A
Yeah. Nova is that disciplined team.
B
Okay.
A
Don't ride with mistakes.
B
Villanova, lsu, Jacksonville, lsu, Lay cape. Ucla, Princeton. I have ucla swag. Ole Miss, Minnesota. Ole Miss. Ole Miss.
A
Because I want UCLA and Ole Miss
B
to play Baylor and Duke. Duke. I don't. I don't. Honestly, I don't see Baylor hanging around with Duke. Okay. You see them hanging around? No, go ahead.
A
I agree.
B
Villanova, lsu. Lsu. Okay. So now we're at ucla, Ole Miss.
A
We gotta have a little, like, in our bracket. You know what I mean?
B
Like, I know, but you have to be realistic.
A
I'm not being unrealistic. You don't think Ole Miss can hang with ucla?
B
No, I think they can hang with them. I mean, they can, like, out. Mean, like.
A
Yeah, you're kind of right. Like, in terms of Ole Miss in the conference tournament against. They were playing against you guys, against South Carolina. They handled the physicality. Okay. What is it? Denim to shield. Shot really well.
B
Shot really well.
A
Hey, I'll go ucla. Yeah.
B
And then Duke, lsu.
A
Lsu. Well, you wait. That's a rematch, right?
B
Yeah.
A
And Duke loss at lsu.
B
And Duke is on a high right now. They really are.
A
But I. I think they're also in the acc. Like, the ACC is not a. Yeah. It's not a great conference.
B
Like, I don't think LSU will handle it.
A
I agree. So I. I used to love when commentators would pick these things. Yeah. Because I would literally hang their picks on my window or on my mirror and then I would have something to say to them after as soon as they prove them wrong. So we're just doing that. I know there's going to be a lot of people that hate me and are like, you picked Ba, Ba, Ba, Ba Ba. You said this. So just. Yeah, it's probably good that I pick UCLA because.
B
Oh, we have to pick UCLA or lsu.
A
Yeah.
B
What do we pick?
A
I. I'm picking UCLA so I can stay in California.
B
Okay. I'll ride in with you.
A
All right, cool.
B
That's going to be. That's. That's a rematch, too, from last year. All right, let's see. Regional four. Gamecocks, baby.
A
Samson.
B
Yo, yo. All right, Clemson. Usc.
A
Man, life comes at you fast. Usc. Is Jazzy Davidson playing?
B
Yes, she is.
A
Okay.
B
Honestly, though, we can pick usc, but I got a little bit more faith in Clemson, and I feel like people don't have. They are. They're solid.
A
Clemson, then.
B
No. No, we don't.
A
I like their new coach. No, let's pick Clemson. It'll be nice because it'll be like, Clemson versus South Carolina. And that regional will be nice little fan fan reunion.
B
Michigan State, Colorado State, Michigan State.
A
I haven't seen Colorado State play, like, either, so I'll say Michigan State, Oklahoma, Idaho.
B
I'm going Oklahoma.
A
Yeah.
B
Oklahoma, Washington, South Dakota State. I haven't seen the Jackrabbits much, so I'm gonna go Washington.
A
Okay.
B
And then tcu, usc, San Diego, tcu.
A
I mean, I just gave a speech to the UC San Diego team, so I think they're gonna win. I'm just kidding. I can't bet against my girl, Olivia Miles. She ain't letting that happen.
B
South Carolina over Clemson. We're not even messing with them. Tigers. South Carolina, please. Thank you. Michigan State, Oklahoma. They.
A
I just say Oklahoma's young. That's the only thing that.
B
Yeah, but I think Reagan Beers could be a handful for whoever.
A
Yeah, for Michigan State. Have size? I don't know. Not.
B
Not super big, I don't think. But, I mean, Michigan State has more experience, though, so what do you want? The world is your oyster.
A
I'm going with the upset. Michigan State's gonna win.
B
All right. Michigan State, period. Queen.
A
My assistant coach from Tennessee is at Michigan State, too, so. Yeah, definitely. Tcu.
B
Yeah. Oh, we got. All right, so Georgia. I think Georgia is going to win their matchup. And then Iowa, fdu. I have Iowa.
A
Yeah.
B
So Georgia, Iowa. I could see Iowa winning that.
A
I mean, yeah, they're the two seed, so the. I can't see them winning. That is wild.
B
Whatever, Iowa, whatever. Far as they're crashing out. South Carolina, Michigan State. Go.
A
Game. Michigan State.
B
Okay. Go Gamecocks, baby. Tcu. Iowa.
A
I got tcu.
B
Okay. Tcu it is swag. South Carolina. Tcu. Everyone say it on three. One, two, three. South Carolina, baby.
A
I got tcu.
B
Okay, that's really great for you.
A
Well, now we have one seeds, because I'm definitely taking Texas out of. This is wild. Okay, go.
B
I mean, but just look at the ma. Oregon, Virginia Tech saying, you're so boring. I could see Virginia Tech. I'm sorry, I actually.
A
Okay. I haven't watched or play like that, so I'm gonna let you have this one.
B
Let's go. Virginia Tech, Kentucky, James Madison, Kentucky, West Virginia, Miami. O. West Virginia.
A
West Virginia. Conference won the conference. Yeah.
B
Alabama, Rhode Island, Alabama, Vermont.
A
We're just picking all upper seeds. This is. Is wild.
B
Tennessee. No, but the first round. Are you kidding me?
A
I mean, it's crazy.
B
Okay, fine, fine. Tennessee beat NC State. Put that down.
A
You're such an asshole.
B
Michigan. Holy Cross. Michigan.
A
I actually think we stack up pretty good against Michigan. I'll be honest.
B
Let's start at the bottom. Let's start at the bottom. Let's go. Tennessee upsetting Michigan.
A
Thank you.
B
Alabama. Louisville. I could see Louisville upsetting Alabama.
A
Yeah, me too.
B
Oh, wait, that's not upset. Sorry.
A
It's six. Three is an upset. No, I would have Alabama upsetting Louisville.
B
Oh, oh. Is that what I. Okay. Alabama. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Alabama.
A
I got Alabama. Yeah, me too.
B
West Virginia. Kentucky. I love West Virginia guard play, but I'm wondering what they're gonna do for strike. Yeah, yeah, Kevin. I like Kentucky, but I am not counting out West Virginia, though. I think they are more than capable. Texas, Texas, Texas, Kentucky. Texas, Alabama, Tennessee. I mean, Tennessee can literally win.
A
They know that's what I'm saying. We can win Texas.
B
I know. Okay. Tennessee. All right, so you got Tennessee beating Texas.
A
Nah, I have. I have.
B
Okay. Sexy. Okay. Okay. So all the number one scenes make it to the final four.
A
That's what I said. I'm like boring.
B
I hate it here so much. I genuinely hate it here so much. I hate it here.
A
I don't want to bet in your house.
B
I don't want to. I don't want to make a decision here. I feel like I've done all the talking this round. Your turn.
A
Okay. But we get to do what we want to do because this is post ups. So this is our post ups. So therefore I got. I mean, it's really hard to beat a team twice. You got UCLA and Texas on the same side.
B
Yeah. Here's the thing. UCLA can beat Texas.
A
Yeah, I agree. I mean, they showed it in the second half when they played earlier in the season. But Texas is their only loss.
B
Yeah. In Texas. Honestly, they are just a super physical team and they get away with that physicality. So it's honestly how they're going to call the game. Like if they.
A
UCLA is pretty physical too.
B
If they.
A
I know you not talking about physicality. No, I'm.
B
But I'm saying how they call it. First of all. First of all, relax.
A
I mean, I'm just saying.
B
I'm down.
A
All right, let's go. South Carolina versus ucla. Yeah. Because I cannot click the Yukon box. It's just.
B
You're so funny.
A
Can't do it.
B
All right, say it on three. One, two, three.
A
Ucla. Game.
B
Cox.
A
Oh.
B
Mark, paper, scissors.
A
Ready?
B
Rock, rock, paper, scissors. Okay. Still start over.
A
Okay. Ready?
B
One, two, three. Rock, rock, papers, scissors. Shoot.
A
Shoot.
B
Wait.
A
Oh. I was like, do. Do they play rock, paper, scissors? Different in the islands because.
B
Oh, my gosh, you have UCLA beating my Gamecocks. I just want to put this on record that this final decision was based on Rock, Paper, Scissors and Candace winning. This would never be by AB7's choice. So perfect. Dude, tiebreaker.
A
Yeah, we got to do our tiebreaker, which is. Yeah. How many total points that will be scored in the championship game? I'm going 147. What are you going?
B
Okay, Slay. I'm going 152.
A
Okay. So do you want to split the difference? Because we have to agree.
B
Yeah. So 149. Okay.
A
Closer to 147. I like it.
B
Yes, Leigh.
A
All right, well, remember, if you want to play along, fill out your own bracket. The link will be in the episode description. The Deadline is Friday, March 20, at 11:30am and don't forget.
B
All right, it's time for our fresh take of the week, presented by Wendy's. Get yourself a $4 Biggie Bites, $6 Biggie Bag or $8 Biggie Bundle now at Wendy's. Okay. Here's my fresh take this week. And don't kill me. FaceTime is better than texting. I am a FaceTime girl. Just FaceTime me. Now. That's different than, like, if you can just text me the. Whatever need. Like, don't call me for one sentence. Don't FaceTime me for one sentence. But I love FaceTime. It's just too much to be doing all that. Like, why are we doing all that? Just FaceTime me.
A
Just.
B
You know what I'm saying?
A
Like, no, not at all. Don't. Don't FaceTime me. Just text me and tell me you're what you need to.
B
That's just Candace. No, babe, no.
A
Seriously, aaliyah, I like FaceTime. Don't get me wrong. To talk to somebody. Like, I'd rather FaceTime than a call, but FaceTime rather than a text, that you could just be like, hey. Or a voice.
B
No, I'm saying if it's one sentence, cool. Leave it where it's at.
A
That's diabolical.
B
But if it's. If it's like, you want to chat for a long period of time, like, just call me. Like, it was so funny the other day. I was texting one of my friends, and I just had to call her. She was like, I knew you was about to do that. I was like, cause all them. All that. That's. No, that's inconvenient. Where I could facetime, prop you up, and just continue with life.
A
Do you know What I really despise when I feel trapped and when somebody texts you and you reply and then they FaceTime you and you're like, that's.
B
That's actually. That's actually pretty bad because, like, you
A
know, like, I feel like you're trapping me though.
B
It is a trap. It is 100%.
A
100% people that trap. FaceTime trap is you guys need to evaluate life. I'm not with you. I would rather text.
B
Huh?
A
Are you a voice note person?
B
I love a good voice note, but I have limits to listening to voice notes. Like, do not send me four minutes, five minutes. I'm not hearing all that. My attention span is about 11 minute to 1 25. If I can listen to it in two times speed, you might get three minutes.
A
I will.
B
You know what I'm saying?
A
Two times speed you in a second. I sometimes like three to six times.
B
You're not trying to hear nothing?
A
No, not at all.
B
Okay.
A
Not at all. Okay. So don't trap FaceTime me and then it. It's okay. That's what we concluded with. All right, that's a wrap on this week's episode of Post Moves. Thanks for tuning in.
