Chris Hansen
I've confronted hundreds of men over two decades, men online, looking for children to sexually assault Cody.
I'm Chris Hansen.
DeAndre Robinson
I know who you are.
Chris Hansen
I tried to get into their heads and understand why.
Interviewer/Detective
But you have it on your phone.
Advertiser/Promoter
That's true.
Chris Hansen
And ultimately make sure they face justice.
Can I just give you some money?
DeAndre Robinson
And me?
Chris Hansen
I don't want money. I want the truth.
These are the predators I've caught.
I'm Chris Hansen.
Of all the hundreds and hundreds of
predators I've caught, perhaps none was so
cool, calm and collected as DeAndre Robinson.
I mean, this was a cool customer.
He was very graphic about what he
wanted to do to a 15 year old boy.
And perhaps just as disturbing is the fact that DeAndre was a certified nursing assistant. That's right. He held a license in multiple states so that he could work with the elderly, the physically, emotionally and mentally challenged, who need a nursing assistant to get through their daily lives. Now, this license used to allow.
I say used to because you'll hear in a moment, he's no longer a certified nursing assistant.
But this license allowed him to work
in various assisted care facilities and also
to be alone with patients who needed his help. And that's where he was working when he surfaced in our investigation with the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office In June of
2025, just about a year ago, from this recording,
DeAndre got online looking for a sexual liaison. He started Talking to a 15 year
old boy who wanted to keep the encounter on the down low. Well, DeAndre wanted to keep it on the down low as well. He told the boy that he lived with a woman, his girlfriend.
He didn't want her to know. Now, he lived in Mobile, Alabama. We were in Louisiana and he worked in Mississippi. So DeAndre, in order to fulfill this
fantasy of his to commit this crime,
had to drive two hours to get
to the house, the sting house, where we were set up with Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard's people, his detectives, command staff.
The Stinghouse was on a waterway.
You may remember seeing the episodes on my streaming network, True Blue. We had one guy try to get away. He got stuck in the swamp, didn't get very far. He was lucky the alligators didn't get him.
And then we had DeAndre. Now when DeAndre shows up, he's still
in his nursing outfit, scrubs, hat.
But before he gets to the scene, there's a very graphic conversation with someone
he thinks is a 15 year old boy. Let me give you an example.
DeAndre or D, as he went online, made several lewd and lascivious statements
Interviewer/Detective
to
Chris Hansen
a person he recently believed was a 15 year old male.
Those statements included. I'm a top, I like ass and getting my dick sucked, sloppy,
I'm down, I got some good dick here. Where you want to meet? I can do inside your throat for sure. Gonna get you moaning. You got towels in case there is.
He's talking about anal sex.
Interviewer/Detective
Obviously.
Chris Hansen
I don't know, but it's going to be shit involved.
That's part of sex.
Interviewer/Detective
Remember?
Chris Hansen
He thinks he's talking to a 15 year old who's never had a sexual liaison before. So DeAndre is going to come over,
he's going to commit sexual assault. Boys underage, and this is the boy's first sexual experience. DeAndre makes a phone call to the boy.
And if there's any doubt as to
what his intentions are, the phone call clears it up.
DeAndre Robinson
Hey, is this D?
Yeah, what's up?
Hey, what you doing? Chilling.
Chris Hansen
He's talking to a Livingston Parish Sheriff's
detective posing as the 15 year old boy.
DeAndre Robinson
Yeah, I'm standing in my car right now.
Where are you at?
I'm at work.
Oh, you're at work right now?
Chris Hansen
And guess where DeAndre is? At work at an elderly man's house. A man he's supposed to be caring for as a certified nursing assistant.
DeAndre Robinson
You still get off at 7?
Yeah.
How far is your work from kind
of where I'm at GPS at like about two hours or so.
Two hours?
You talk very mature to be 15.
Chris Hansen
You sound very mature to be 15. DeAndre's a little bit suspicious. He'll get even more suspicious.
But not enough to turn around.
Not enough to realize he's doing something wrong. Something illegal, something to harm a child.
DeAndre Robinson
I mean, I'm Asian.
So what? That's about.
I think I'm pretty smart.
Are you sure you ain't with the police? This ain't no sting operation.
The. No, please. I told you I wasn't a part of any of that.
Okay, well, sometimes, you know, gotta get validation. Give another person's voice to get validation.
Chris Hansen
Sometimes you need to hear a person's voice to get validation, Deandre. Says, indicating that this is not his first time.
DeAndre Robinson
If you can't take my word, then it is what it is.
I feel you, man. Why you been? Why you get hosted?
Chris Hansen
When I ask that question, that's one
of many outs the detective gives DeAndre,
who accuses the boy of being hostile.
DeAndre Robinson
Cuz you're accusing me of being the police.
No, no, I'm not accusing you. I asked the question. I asked, are you. I didn't say you are the police.
It's okay. Just chill out, B. I ain't going to lie though.
I'm supposed to read it though, like, well, I'm nervous.
So, like, what are you ready for?
Chris Hansen
DeAndre says he's ready. The boy nervous. And if you think that was disturbing, just wait until you hear what DeAndre says next graphic. A warning.
DeAndre Robinson
I'm ready for the whole damn thing, the whole deal.
I found some old towels we could use. How many you think we need?
Probably not a lot, but, you know, you want to lay a towel down, like on the bed or something because you don't want no stains. Nothing on the bed.
Chris Hansen
DeAndre says we're going to need some towels. You don't want to leave stains on the bed. He's talking about anal sex with the boy.
DeAndre Robinson
You sure Vaseline's going to be good? Lube.
Chris Hansen
And then there's talk of lubricant. DeAndre prefers Vaseline. He explains why you've used it before.
DeAndre Robinson
I most definitely did Vaseline. Vaseline works home. It's a good lubricant.
I'm just making sure because, like, I've never had a dude inside me before or anything, so kind of makes me nervous.
Yeah, but if it's like, it's thicker. So it actually, in my opinion, better than loop. Collude is very, like, thin, light, and then it dries up. But with Vaseline, it don't dry up.
Does it burn or something?
No, it don't burn. No, it won't burn.
Have you used it on your ass before?
I ain't used it on my ass,
other people's ass.
I mean, I've done this before.
Chris Hansen
I've done it before. Now, he doesn't admit to doing it
before with a child,
but clearly this
is not DeAndre's first time online looking for sex. More about this predator I've caught in a moment.
You've heard me talk about one skin. I use it. My wife uses it. We are true believers.
And let me tell you, it really works. I mean, look at me.
But they've applied that Same longevity science to the scalp now with OS1 hair. As I've gotten older, and I hate to admit this, but my hair has

Chris Hansen
And there's something else.
Something very alarming to know about DeAndre. Something we didn't know at the time. Something we didn't even know when we first dropped the episode on DeAndre on my streaming network, True Blue. The takedown episode. DeAndre, we learned later, was HIV positive. And he was charged, along with other felonies, with attempting to have sex knowing he was HIV positive. That's a crime in most states. Imagine a guy not only trying to sexually exploit a child, knowing he has a virus that, while controllable with modern medicine, could infect another human being. A 15 year old human being. That's evil. The whole thing is evil.
DeAndre Robinson
Okay, well then I'll take your word for it. Didn't you say you have a girl?
I do.
Are you not like out there or anything about being gay or are you bi?
I don't consider. Yeah, I'm b. I don't consider myself gay.
Chris Hansen
DeAndre admits to having a girl girlfriend
with whom he lives. He says he's not gay, he's bi.
DeAndre Robinson
I really hate the labels. For real? For real?
Yeah.
Because if anything, I tell anybody, I just do me.
Chris Hansen
DeAndre hates labels. He says he just tells people he's. Well, he do me. How about this label? DeAndre Predator.
DeAndre Robinson
I sell that, but yeah, we stay together and shit like that. But she worked like overnight shifts and stuff like that. So I know I could be out for a minute and be home by the time she get home in the morning.
Chris Hansen
Then DeAndre explains that he can get out, have his way with the child and get back before his girl gets off of work. She works nights. I'm sure she was pleased to find out about his arrest.
And as soon as that conversation wraps, DeAndre starts to wrap up his work
at the elderly man's house where he cares for the man. And he starts the two hour journey to our sting house in Livingston Parish.
When he arrives, the youngish looking detective
meets him at the door posing as
Interviewer/Detective
the 15 year old.
Chris Hansen
DeAndre is nervous, but he's excited.
DeAndre Robinson
Took you long enough.
Chris Hansen
The detective decoy meets him on the porch.
DeAndre Robinson
You want me to grab the towels? You want to grab the towels?
Chris Hansen
Since there is so much talk about
towels and the mess they would make, the detective decoy offers to go get them. There's talk about undressing. Who's going to get undressed first?
Interviewer/Detective
This is me.
DeAndre Robinson
So nobody here our cameras on account of her.
Nobody's here.
Chris Hansen
He notices one of our cameras, but it doesn't stop him.
He thinks it might be just a home security device. He closes the door and locks it.
DeAndre Robinson
You want to grab the towels? Just push it hard. If you want me to, I can grab the towels and we like. I can get undressed and then you can get undressed. You want to get undressed and we'll like surprise each other. It's up to you.
Nervous?
What you nervous for?
Nice ass place though.
It is.
Interviewer/Detective
She's losing.
Chris Hansen
DeAndre is nervous, but says it's a nice ass place. If he's nervous now, just wait a few minutes. He's gonna be nervous. All right.
DeAndre Robinson
But I can grab the towels if you want. And then I'll get undressed in the bathroom. I can like surprise you and you can surprise me when I come out.
Why not just do it right here?
Right here.
Chris Hansen
The decoy offers to leave to get undressed. DeAndre says why don't we do it right here? I'm in the next room. Watching, listening. Trying to decide the right time to make my entrance. It's getting close, but I want to see how far this will play out.
DeAndre Robinson
You want to go first?
What?
Why are you looking at me like that?
Chris Hansen
These are tense moments for everyone. Is DeAndre armed? We don't think so. Is he going to bolt? There's a possibility. And if I come out too early,
do I ruin the moment?
I wait a bit more.
DeAndre Robinson
You looking at me like that for.
I don't know, bro.
Interviewer/Detective
You sure?
DeAndre Robinson
I'm positive.
All clothes.
And you want to go?
Chris Hansen
Look, it's about time to make my entrance.
Interviewer/Detective
The cameras, towels and all over there.
DeAndre Robinson
You want to just go to the bedroom instead? It's me, huh?
Interviewer/Detective
How you doing? I'm gonna need you to sit right over there, please.
Chris Hansen
DeAndre complies. When I walked out, he had one hand on the doorknob.
Interviewer/Detective
Got your scrubs on, huh? Where are you coming from?
DeAndre Robinson
Well, I work in Mississippi.
Interviewer/Detective
You work in Mississippi? And what are you doing Mississippi?
DeAndre Robinson
CNA.
Chris Hansen
I asked DeAndre about his job. Even though I know a fair bit about it, I want to hear it from his mouth.
Interviewer/Detective
What's a cna?
DeAndre Robinson
Certified Nursing assistant.
Interviewer/Detective
A certified nursing assistant. And what do you do as a certified nursing assistant?
DeAndre Robinson
Take care of elderly.
Interviewer/Detective
Take care of the elderly. And what do you do for the elderly? Give me an example.
DeAndre Robinson
Bathe them. Feed them. All the basic stuff.
Interviewer/Detective
You bathe them, you feed them. And you have to be licensed to do this right?
Chris Hansen
Now, remember, DeAndre could have had easily
been performing these services for a child. A child in need teenager, the same age as the boy he wanted to sexually exploit. His work isn't limited to just elderly. It could be anyone. And that is very alarming.
Interviewer/Detective
And you're licensed with the state of Mississippi?
DeAndre Robinson
I'm licensed in the state of Alabama.
Interviewer/Detective
State of Alabama. And how many patients do you take care of?
DeAndre Robinson
I just got one client.
Interviewer/Detective
Just have one client. And who's that one client?
DeAndre Robinson
Larry.
Interviewer/Detective
And how old is Larry?
DeAndre Robinson
Like in the 70s?
Interviewer/Detective
And does he rely upon you for his well, beings? Okay, just calm down now. You got your hat on there with the heart and the heart rate. What does that mean?
DeAndre Robinson
It's just a pulse sign.
Interviewer/Detective
Just a pulse sign. And is that the company you work for? Is that just a hat you wear because you're a cna?
DeAndre Robinson
I just wear it because I'm saying. And ain't got no haircut.
Interviewer/Detective
Got it. Okay. And the scrubs, that's what you wear to work every day?
DeAndre Robinson
Yeah.
Interviewer/Detective
Okay. So your name is DeAndre DeAndre. And how old are you, DeAndre?
DeAndre Robinson
27.
Interviewer/Detective
26.
DeAndre Robinson
But through 27.
Interviewer/Detective
26. About 27. Are you a married fellow?
DeAndre Robinson
No, I'm not.
Interviewer/Detective
Do you have a girlfriend? You have a girlfriend?
DeAndre Robinson
I don't.
Interviewer/Detective
You live with a woman, though?
DeAndre Robinson
I do.
Interviewer/Detective
She's not your girlfriend? You just live with her?
DeAndre Robinson
We kind of shopping or something like that.
Interviewer/Detective
You on to her?
DeAndre Robinson
We kind of like got a little thing going on.
Interviewer/Detective
You got a little thing going on. Now it sounds like you wanted a little thing going on with a 15 year old boy here tonight.
DeAndre Robinson
I will be honest with you. I wasn't even sure about it. And then, you know, he was talking all smooth and stuff.
Chris Hansen
Talking all smooth and stuff.
That's right.
DeAndre's now gonna blame the 15 year old for his predicament. He wasn't sure. He sounded sure on the phone, though. All the details about the sexual acts he would perform, how it would go, what lubricant they would use, the mechanics of it all, the mess, the cleanup, the.
He sounded sure then, didn't he?
Now that he's caught, he's sitting across a kitchen counter from me. DeAndre is not so sure.
DeAndre Robinson
I came all the way out this way and I. I really. I wasn't feeling it. I just. I got the vibe. It was like I was getting ready to walk out. I just wasn't for it.
Chris Hansen
Then why did you do it, DeAndre?
DeAndre Robinson
Why?
Chris Hansen
You had the vibe. You had the feeling something wasn't right. Why did you do it?
Interviewer/Detective
What gave you a bad vibe? Because you came in here and I
Chris Hansen
saw you lock the door.
Why did you lock the door?
DeAndre Robinson
I was fingert unlocked the door. I was gonna get ready to unlock the door.
Interviewer/Detective
No, no, no. But when you came in, you locked the door. Why did you do that?
DeAndre Robinson
Because I thought we were about to, you know, chill and stuff.
Interviewer/Detective
You're about to chill? You're about to have sex with a 15 year old boy.
DeAndre Robinson
I was going to have sex.
Chris Hansen
Well, you Talked about that, DeAndre.
DeAndre Robinson
Now I understand that.
Interviewer/Detective
I heard the phone conversation and I. I saw the chats and it. It was pretty graphic. You talked about anal sex. You talked about using KY Jelly as a lubricant, right?
DeAndre Robinson
Yeah, but I ain't said I was going to use that.
Interviewer/Detective
I'm sorry?
DeAndre Robinson
I ain't said I was going to use that.
Interviewer/Detective
What were you going to use?
DeAndre Robinson
Vaseline.
Interviewer/Detective
Vaseline.
Chris Hansen
Good thing we cleared that up. If what you've heard shocks you so far, join us. Back in a moment.
If you're A homeowner in America. You need to listen to this. The FBI has been warning about a type of real estate fraud on the rise called title theft. And your equity is the target.
Interviewer/Detective
Here's how it works.
Chris Hansen
Criminals forge your signature on a single document, use a fake notary stamp and file it with the county. And just like that, on record, they own your home using your ownership. They can take out loans against your equity or even sell your property right out from under you. And you won't know it until foreclosure or collection notices show up in the mail. That's why I've partnered with Home Title Lock. So you can protect your equity. And find out today, if you're already a victim. Protect your Equity today. That's hometitlelock.com, promo code, Hansen H A N S E N. Or use the link below.
I'll be watching.
Interviewer/Detective
You talked about using Vaseline. So what is to have anal sex? I'll get to that in a minute. But I have some more questions for you and you need to answer them.
Chris Hansen
DeAndre wants to know who I am and what this is all about.
Although I suspect he knows deep down he's in trouble with the law.
Interviewer/Detective
And you can understand why, right? You tracking? I'm tracking. Okay.
Chris Hansen
He's tracking.
Interviewer/Detective
So you talked about bringing Vaseline, using that to have anal sex with a 15 year old boy. Is that right?
DeAndre Robinson
Yeah.
Interviewer/Detective
Okay. And do you think that was okay?
DeAndre Robinson
It wasn't okay. I knew it in the back of my head I said, it's not all right. It's not all right. And then my stupid inside self just told me, like, just try.
Interviewer/Detective
But I shouldn't.
DeAndre Robinson
I should have just never did it.
Chris Hansen
I should have just never did it. That's right, DeAndre. Something in the back of his mind said this was wrong. But the front of his mind and other parts of his body let him into the commission of a felony.
Interviewer/Detective
What was attractive to you about having sex with a 15 year old?
DeAndre Robinson
Not attracted to a 15 year old boy.
Yeah.
It was just the first time, you know?
Chris Hansen
And like so many of the men I confront, the predators I catch. DeAndre tells me it's his first time and all that.
DeAndre Robinson
So it just, it kind of gave me like. Okay, he mature.
Interviewer/Detective
You talk about needing towels for the sex act. Why did you need towels?
DeAndre Robinson
Mika? When you do something in the anal, you know, crap come out.
Chris Hansen
I guess this is where DeAndre's medical training comes into play.
Interviewer/Detective
When you do something in the anal.
DeAndre Robinson
Yeah.
Interviewer/Detective
Comes out. And you didn't think that this would be illegal? That this could harm a 15 year old child?
DeAndre Robinson
It could.
Chris Hansen
And what about the harm, DeAndre?
What about the harm this act would
have on a vulnerable teen?
Did you think about that?
DeAndre Robinson
I thought, you know, I don't know what the law is. I thought it would be like an age of consent or something like that.
Interviewer/Detective
You knew it was against the law.
DeAndre Robinson
Yeah.
Interviewer/Detective
You talked about having him perform oral sex on you.
DeAndre Robinson
Yeah.
Interviewer/Detective
Spitting on your genitals.
DeAndre Robinson
Yeah.
Interviewer/Detective
You were very graphic. You were basically instructing him on how you were going to have anal sex with him.
DeAndre Robinson
Yeah.
Chris Hansen
What impact do you think that would
Interviewer/Detective
have on a 15 year old boy?
DeAndre Robinson
A horrific impact.
Interviewer/Detective
A horrific impact. Yet you're here.
Chris Hansen
A horrific impact. That's right. Now he knew it, but he did it. And this is what absolutely boggles my mind. How can a human being understand right
from wrong, understand the damage he could do to a child,
have two hours on the road to consider that way
and think about it, mull it over and still show up? I mean, there's no one else with whom to have sex, DeAndre, you got to pick a 15 year old. And what if we weren't there and a vulnerable 15 year old was there? Well, I think we know what would happen.
Interviewer/Detective
How long did you drive to get here, DeAndre?
DeAndre Robinson
Like two hours. Two hours from my job. But I stay in Mobile.
Interviewer/Detective
Where's the job?
DeAndre Robinson
It's a client's house.
Interviewer/Detective
It's a client's house. So you spent all day at the client's house taking care of this client?
DeAndre Robinson
Yes. Home help.
Interviewer/Detective
Right. And you left there and you came straight over here. Two plus hours.
Chris Hansen
And at any time during that two
Interviewer/Detective
plus hour drive, did you think, man, DeAndre, this is a bad idea.
Chris Hansen
It's illegal.
Interviewer/Detective
It's a crime. I could be harming a child by having sex with him. And why did you continue? You had chances to turn around and you didn't. You kept coming. Yeah. Have you met underage boys before for sex online?
DeAndre Robinson
No, I haven't.
Interviewer/Detective
So today was just the first time?
DeAndre Robinson
Yeah.
Interviewer/Detective
And what made you think it was okay today to do this?
DeAndre Robinson
It wasn't okay. I just. I guess I was just horned and it happened.
Interviewer/Detective
Just all horned up. All horned up for a 15 year old boy. Did you bring Vaseline?
DeAndre Robinson
I did.
Interviewer/Detective
Where is it? Put it on the counter. Did you bring condoms?
DeAndre Robinson
No.
Chris Hansen
So you were going to have unprotected
Interviewer/Detective
sex with this boy but no condoms?
Chris Hansen
He was going to have unprotected sex
with a teenager and as we told you, we later learned he was HIV positive.
As a medical professional, don't you see a health issue there?
DeAndre Robinson
Yeah.
Interviewer/Detective
But you said in the chat that you didn't want to use a condom. Why is that?
DeAndre Robinson
I didn't say. No, I didn't want to use a condom. He didn't ask me a question about no condom.
Interviewer/Detective
But you didn't. Did you bring condoms?
DeAndre Robinson
No, I didn't bring condoms.
Interviewer/Detective
So you were going to have unprotected sex with a 15 year old child? You brought the Vaseline?
DeAndre Robinson
I wasn't one of.
Interviewer/Detective
Do you have any weapons in your pocket?
DeAndre Robinson
I don't have any weapons.
Interviewer/Detective
Are there any weapons in the car?
DeAndre Robinson
Weapons in my car. I have a clean record. This is a mistake that I made just coming here. I knew something was off, but I fell for the gimmick anyway.
Interviewer/Detective
You fell for the gimmick? What was the gimmick?
DeAndre Robinson
That this was some type of sting, set up sting operation.
Interviewer/Detective
Did you think it might be a sting?
DeAndre Robinson
I did.
Interviewer/Detective
And you asked him about that?
DeAndre Robinson
I did.
Interviewer/Detective
Why were you suspicious that this might be a sting?
DeAndre Robinson
Because I've been watching like little videos and stuff.
Interviewer/Detective
Videos?
Chris Hansen
He's been watching little videos and stuff.
Were any of them mine? Now he's in one of my videos.
Interviewer/Detective
And where do you watch the videos?
DeAndre Robinson
Like on YouTube.
Interviewer/Detective
On YouTube. And who does those videos?
DeAndre Robinson
I mean, I can't recall. It's just I don't watch them often, but I have ran across a few.
Interviewer/Detective
And what do you think about those fellas who show up in the videos?
DeAndre Robinson
You go down, they go down.
Interviewer/Detective
And what do you think is going to happen to you? Going down, Going down.
Chris Hansen
Going down.
That's right.
DeAndre wasn't going to make it home
to his girl with whom he lived two plus hours away. DeAndre was arrested, taken to the Livingston Parish Jail.
He was charged with computer aided solicitation of a minor, attempted intentional exposure to
HIV and indecent behavior with a minor.
DeAndre just recently pleaded guilty to two
of those three charges.
He was sentenced to three years in prison with hard labor.
That's a Louisiana state prison. And that labor will be hard.
Once he gets out, he will be
a registered sex offender for the rest of his life and it appears he will never have a chance to be a certified nursing assistant assistant again.
We wanted to know more about DeAndre's
background and that's one of the reasons why we partnered with Truthfinder. Truthfinder is an incredibly useful tool for me on all kinds of investigations and
it can be a tool for you
to find out about people in your life, people you may be thinking about bringing into your life, your children's life.
It has all kinds of information, not
just criminal history, but social platform presence, financial information. Have these people been in Trouble before? Their LinkedIn page, what they do for a living, it works for me and it can work for you. We ran DeAndre through TruthFinder and in
fact he was telling me the truth. He had never been in trouble with the law before. It lists the current charges for which
he's in prison now. It lists some of his social media information. It lists his licenses in various states as a certified nursing assistant. But now it will show you and everybody else is arrest in Livingston Parish.

Episode: Deandre Robinson
Date: June 15, 2026
Host: Chris Hansen
Theme: An in-depth breakdown of the investigation, sting, and interrogation of DeAndre Robinson—a certified nursing assistant caught attempting to sexually exploit a minor—and the broader dangers of online child exploitation.
This episode centers on the chilling case of DeAndre Robinson, a certified nursing assistant with licenses across multiple states who was apprehended in a sting operation for attempting to meet a 15-year-old boy for sex. Chris Hansen deconstructs each stage of the investigation, from the explicit online chats to Robinson’s motives, his arrest, and the consequences. The episode serves as both a cautionary tale about predator behaviors and a testament to the ongoing fight against child exploitation.
On Professional Trust:
On Predator Rationalizations:
On Ethical Obligation:
On the Looming Sting:
The episode maintains Chris Hansen’s investigative, relentless, and uncompromising tone. Deeply factual, no-nonsense, and at times incredulous or damning regarding predator behaviors, Hansen fuses urgency and meticulous detail:
“How can a human being understand right from wrong, understand the damage he could do to a child, have two hours on the road to consider that way and still show up?” [25:55]
He is empathetic toward potential victims, sharply critical of Robinson, and matter-of-fact in exposing the methods and mindset of sexual predators.
This episode exemplifies the impact of rigorous undercover operations and shines a spotlight on the enduring importance of vigilance against sexual predators, even (or especially) those in positions of trust and care. Hansen methodically unpacks every step in the breakdown of Robinson’s case to illustrate the complex blend of rationalization, grooming, and ultimate accountability.
Listeners are left sobered but informed—and reminded of the crucial role of public awareness and investigative vigilance in protecting the vulnerable.
