You got a range of plus or minus, you know, 50 years, depending on, you know, where it's at. But this particular one was, it was, it was sent by the, by basically an army guy named Hori. And so he's, he's reprimanding this another kind of scribe or, you know, or a correspondent for, for his lack of battlefield presence. And so. But what he does though is he mentions this, this group which, which is well known in Egyptian, called the Shosu. And these are typically Canaanites. Now. So you got to think in terms of when, when God told Abraham basically in Genesis 15 and 17, hey, I'm going to give you this land, but I'm going to. Or going back to Genesis 12 even, I'm going to give you this land. But your people are going to go into Egypt for 400 years, right? So what you see happen is it's, it's like that was the, that was the, the turning point for, for Satan to refill the land with Raphael. Because the word Rafaim, we see. And we see nephilim in Genesis 6. Then you're like, well, where'd they all go? Well, Raphael, the word Raphaim appears in Genesis 14 as being over in the land. So while they were gone down in Egypt, Satan fills the land with all of these tribes. You can read about the whole area, actually, not just Canaan, but down into Moab, into Edom. Just read Deuteronomy 2 and 3. So all those places are really close to Egypt. So Egypt is interacting with these giant tribes. And these are tall tribes. Again, According to Deuteronomy 2 and 3, Moses is recounting that they're great and as tall as the Anakim, and they're connected with the Nephilim. And then King Og was the last of the Raphaim. So you have all of these. Well, these, these, all these tribes were called the Shosu, which is what this particular scroll was describing in relation to Egypt, that they were tall. And so you see some of this when you go down to like, Luxor and Karnak, all those areas, and you go to all the major temples. I've been there many times, and it's pretty cool to see this stuff. And so one of the interesting things about it, I'll just give this last thing, is that normally if you're the pharaoh and you're getting your inscription on the wall, you're like this big, tall guy and everybody else is a bunch of schmucks and you're there beating on them. Well, in this case they actually show the enemy, the shoshu here, as being really, really big. That's, that's interesting because that's contrary to the typical propaganda of Egyptian, you know, basically hieroglyphs and stuff.

Do you think that we're going to see the veil thinning between now and whenever the Lord returns? Do you see that becoming more and more the norm where the supernatural is going to become more and more obvious,
A
if I can put it that way, 100%. Because I think that again, we know that all, all, all gloves are off once, you know, the Rapture happens and the tribulation begins. But there's no doubt, I think that already there is. If in, in looking around at our culture, you think about whether it's the New age abductions, I will say this, that America is, is relatively, relatively speaking isolated or separated. And, and all you have to do is ask any missionary you go to the three third world countries, like spiritism is everywhere. The veil is already removed there. So. But in the west, you know, the, the, the erudite, sophisticated, technologically savvy, materialist, naturalist west, well, we don't believe in spiritism. We don't believe in the soul. So I think Satan has his reasons for keeping us in this view. But it goes back to like the Screwtapes letters where in some cultures they, they, instead of them denying that they're spirits, they just get them to worship the ones that they want. The devils get them, the demons get them to worship there. But over here in this sophisticated scientific west, you keep them thinking that Satan doesn't exist. And so in that sense, I think that is going to probably, certainly, I think it'll be lessons between now and the start of the tribulation.
B
Yeah, that makes a lot of sense too, that, that Satan has got a different deception for every culture. And especially with those of us who feel so enlightened with modern technology and information at our fingertips that we would be much more skeptical than somebody in a third world country who, you know, has a fraction of that at their disposal. And they'll just believe whatever they see, you know, and so these things will appear. And that's why I think for us in, in America, where there are tens of thousands of, you know, whether you're talking about Bigfoot or UFOs or Dogman or all the different things that are out there, yet we don't have any conclusive evidence that they exist, but there's overwhelming eyewitnesses to say, yeah, we did. And even if you do get a photo of it, it's grainy or it's blurry or it's hard to. It's not definitive. And now even adding on top of that all the artificial intelligence, the deep fake technology like that. I don't know, I, I used to see them a lot, a lot. But there was those Bigfoot reels on. I think it was on Instagram. But like the Bigfoot would just like come up and he's talking to you like he's Bob, your neighbor, and he's like, hey, check this out. I'm gonna go scare these campers. And he runs into. Anyways, you know, it's, it's getting to the point now where it's so hard to tell what's real and what's not real that we have that new layer of deception thrown on top of everything else. That, man, it's as weird as it is right now, today and March, whatever, 16th. I mean, just think about what we'll have seen if we're here still at the end of the year. Like all the things that will have happened by the end of the year. We probably wouldn't even believe it if we told ourselves today, hey, this is gonna happen six months from now. We just couldn't see it, you know.
A
You know, it's, it's, it's interesting because, you know, people, as, you know, people send us stuff and they're like, hey, take a look at this. And. And now the first question I ask is, did you vet it? Did you? And you bet the video. I mean, to me, there's going to come a point, I would say this to anybody, that maybe they, maybe they're not saved or maybe they're in, in they. They're in the tribulation or you know what, or if the preacher rapture, let's say it's wrong. And here we are, Pete, where we're in the trip. Okay, look, I love the Word of God, okay? The Word of God is pure. I believe it's inerrant. I believe it is. It is our only reliable source. It can be trusted. It's all the way. So when, when I see something over there, I'm going to be like, I don't care what I'm seeing there. I'm going back to scripture. Scriptures are anchor. It's. We live by the Word of God. So to me, and in fact, it's interesting, in Deuteronomy 13, this is like, this is that. This is the verse. I wish I could share this with the Jewish people. This is in the Torah, right? God says, look, if somebody comes along and they, they predict something and it comes to pass, or they do a miracle or a sign if they get you, if it comes to pass, it's a miracle modified. But they, they encourage you to worship other gods. Don't follow them. I've allowed it as a test. And so in the same way, and we know the true God is the father of the Lord Jesus Christ and his son, right? So, and, and I'll say it bluntly, the Jews are worshiping a false God right now because they're not coming to the Father. They think they're worshiping the Father. But Jesus said to the Pharisees who claim to be worship, you don't know me or my Father, even though you're claiming that. So we know Jesus said, I'm the way that the truth life, you don't come to the Father except through me. So when we see the religious Jews praying and Bobby and they're serious, it's, it's all, it's all a deception in their own mind because they're not coming to the Messiah. And so that being the case, when we look at this, we go look any miracle, I don't care if you don't, if it's not coming back to the scripture and the word of God which is our anchor, don't believe it.
In this episode of Prophecy Watchers, hosts Gary Stearman and Mondo Gonzales are joined by Pete Garcia to delve into the intriguing question: Did Ancient Egypt know about giants? The conversation weaves together biblical history, ancient Egyptian records, and modern spiritual deception, exploring both the physical and supernatural connections between ancient tribes and today’s cultural phenomena. The discussion moves from archaeological and scriptural evidence for giants to broader reflections on the “veil” between material and spiritual realities, ending with an exhortation to root all discernment in Scripture.
