It's the nation's oldest and largest literary event - which disappeared from the calendar this year. Weeks before Adelaide Writer's Week was set to take place in February, more than 180 authors withdrew after Palestinian Australian author Randa Abdel-Fattah was dumped from the program. Members of the board, the chair and director also resigned during this saga.
