
Strong winds and heavy rain have begun lashing far north Queensland with Severe Tropical Cyclone Narelle making landfall this morning. Queensland Premier David Crisafulli warned it could be one of the biggest cyclones "in living memory". A cyclone warning has been issued for most of Cape York including areas from Lockhart River to Cape Flattery and to the west between Mapoon and Pormpuraaw.
