To start us out, let's talk fat cattle. We're heading to Stockman's livestock in Yankton, South Dakota. These are steers weighing 1,746 pounds. Okay, got it in your head? Have any idea what they sold for at the beginning of the week? 235 and a half. That is four, $4,112 for 17 and a half weight steers. Stockman's Livestock in Yankton, South Dakota. I think a big congrats goes out all the way on that one. Next we head to Crawford Livestock Market in Crawford, Nebraska. Now this one is worth looking at the market report if you want to. By the way, just head to crawfordlivestock.com or we've got the link available in the show notes for this episode. Let's talk heifers. 48 head of black heifers weighing 763 sold for 465.

That's over 3500 bucks ahead.

I remember as a kid going and buying show heifers for less than that. We're not done there. How about this group? 88 head of black heifers weighing 644 brought 462. That's just about 25 bucks shy of 3,000 bucks. That's 2,976 bucks for 644 white heifers. Again, that was earlier this week in Crawford, Nebraska.

So if you're buying or selling, here's my advice.
