I swear going in and we had had these conversations so much specifically about the men's War Games match, realizing that there are so many different possibilities and so much different tension that exists not just between the two teams but amongst both teams. Really.

A lot of tension within CM Punk Cody Rhodes team and a lot of.

Tension within Paul Heyman's team as well. Who knows where Drew stands? Brock Lesnar, as they said on commentary tonight, he hasn't teamed with anybody since like 2004.

I think that they said like there's so, I mean, infinite possibilities here. And instead of leaving tonight going, well, we know what happened there. There is far more discussion to be had. First of all, first, first of all.

It's 100% right. That is a headline of all headlines and one that shouldn't be lost under the sauce of everything else that went on in that match. You're right. Braun Breaker, at the end of the day, pinned CM Punk while CM Punk was World Heavyweight Champion. Braun Breaker, the future, which implies that maybe someday he'll be pinning World Heavyweight Champions tonight in the War Games. Got the decision. Not Brock, not Logan, Paul, not Drew McIntyre. Brom Breaker pinned CM Punk, the World Heavyweight Champion after a spear. CM Punk got speared and could not answer the referee's three count. That is massive in the world of brawn, Breaker.

It's layered as well. Right? Because we know that Paul Heyman and CM Punk, their relationship crumbled after WrestleMania when Paul Heyman sided with Seth Rollins and created the Vision. Vision. And who was part of the Vision? Who was the, the centerpiece? Who's going to be the future of WrestleManias to come day one? Braun Breaker.

That's right. That's 100% right. And you can see why. Not that anybody ever questioned why, but it was made clear why tonight. And it's impossible right now to say how much of War Games is meant to be taken as part of Paul Heyman's plan and how much of it was serendipitous to Paul Heyman. But regardless, Paul Heyman's team pretty much as always, ends up the winning team at War Games. I mean, there was something, because this was the most star studded War Games match of the modern era, maybe of all time. And we were sitting here watching it together, like trying to predict who was going to come out next. I think we all, I mean both of us were pretty shocked when the first theme music that played was Cult of Personality.

Yeah, I thought Punk, I thought it was either going to be Punk or Cody who entered the match last.

Last. Cuz the two champions. Right. But CM Punk starts the match with, by the way, Braun Breaker. The two people that would end this thing were also the two people that started the match. Of course, Heyman's team had, had won the, the, the War Games advantage on Raw. So they kept that lead throughout the match, which they were able to take advantage of a lot of. You had Drew entering the match after the first two, which I mean brought back all these memories of Drew McIntyre and CM Punk trapped inside of a steel cage from just about a year ago.

Yeah, we talked about that rivalry. They had 10 months of vitriol, hatred. I mean it had reached a boiling point and then boiled over. Right?

Yeah.

And I mean these guys will never be friends and Drew McIntyre, they'll never.

Be able to coexist in the same room.

And we saw that as soon as Drew McIntyre entered.

There's something that feels at home about the two of them just beating each other up. And I think that that's the way it's going to be forever. Logan Paul comes in, he gets some steel chairs. Jimmy Uso comes in, he gets some tables. By the way, something that I didn't.

Love when they were chanting, we want tables.

No, of course I hated that.

But no. I have another pet peeve, and I don't know if I've told you about this, I felt that the women in the war games match did a much better job at not doing this than the men did. If you noticed in the women's war games match, which we'll talk about, we'll have Charlotte Flair on the show. Every member of both teams came to the ring already with a weapon in hand. If they wanted a weapon, they had it in hand. When you're in that war games, you only have three minutes as the fresh man to either help your team even the odds or take advantage of those odds before that buzzer goes off again and the opposite team gets somebody to come in there. The fact that people take any time whatsoever to go under the ring to find steel chairs and Logan Paul's case to find tables and Jimmy USO's case, it's like, no, get in there, get in the double cage. You have to take advantage of every minute. This is a timed event. It's like a point, right. I mean, can you imagine working on your mile and going like, yeah, but I want to make sure I take as many water breaks as possible.

Yeah. There was ever a show, if there was ever an intelligence test, war games would be it. It's like chess surrounded by steel. Look, I will say this. You want to talk about a good war game strategy. If you're Bronson Reed walking in and tsunaming everybody, Tsunami ing everybody immediately.

No. And Cody busted Punk open pretty quick with the elbow. But then there were two people in front of Cody and he elbowed backwards to Punk.

But then when they, when they kind of shook it off, they were completely on the same page.

It was like, they're good. And then they actually helped each other out where Punk hit the go to sleep and then Cody hit the crossroads on Brock Lesnar. But he was like, oh, my gosh. Cody and Punk working together.

Before that, though. I mean, before that, before the ring was even full of people. You saw, like, the minute they kind of shook off whatever rivalry was going on, they did a heart attack. They did a doomsday device that looked like it beheaded Bron Breaker. Like, these are classic tag team moves. And it might just be that Cody and Punk are so in love with the game, are so married into professional wrestling that once that on Switch goes on, they know they have that same level of wrestling IQ where they know, you know what I mean? Like, it, like, they don't have to say anything. If, if, if Cody has somebody up on his shoulders, Punk knows it's time to hit the doomsday device.

They're communicating via wrestling.

Right? Exactly right. Exactly right. And I think that there's something to that. I mean, listen, Jay USO and I feel like he's picked up this level of confidence that we were hoping he would get figuring out how to run.

Do you think I'm a hypocrite? Because I do think it's inappropriate to grab weapons while the clock is running.

But running it back, you're totally fine. Yes, you are a hypocrite. 100%.

I feel like everybody was laid out. And also, here's the thing. People don't realize this about Jey uso. He operates on vibes. The vibes have to be right. You know what I mean? So, like, Jay, like, him looking into the camera or looking out into the audience and like making that face like, oh, we're going to do this. I'm in control now. I'm taking charge. And everybody's going crazy for it. And 45,000 people in San Diego are all just yeeting along as Jay USO runs it back. There was something about it that I thought was great.

I do love the moment when Jay realizes and the audience realizes that he realizes that, oh, boy, we could run this whole thing back and everybody's on the Same page. It's the glance. It's the shake of the head. All right, let's do this.

Let's do it. And they were ready for it. Of course. Who's the one person that can ruin it?

That's the. It's so. And music is such a funny thing. When Jey USO runs it back, we all hear it. We all know exactly what to do when Brock's music comes on. Boom, boom, boom, boom. You just know. It's just dread. It's just all hope is lost. You realize it's bad news.

Yeah. I don't know why I was. I was curious the entire time. Oh, how is Brock going to enter? You know, it was. It was different this time with war games because there were no cages.

No shark cages.

Megan
No shark cages. And that's typically what we see in these war games. I missed the shark cages, so I didn't think, you know, when I was thinking about war games all weekend, I didn't envision Brock entering with Paul Heyman because I didn't envision Paul Heyman being in the shark cage.

Yeah. Although, okay, if there had been shark cages, I do have a vision of Paul Heyman standing right next to the shark cage.

Oh, you do?

That's my vision of it. Isn't that interesting?

And I hadn't pictured it yet, but, yeah, I would picture Paul Heyman standing next to the shark cage. And maybe if Brock comes out last, then he does walk with.

Because I figured Brock was going to come out last for his team.

I mean, he's Brock.

And then I thought, oh, they're gonna be the shark cage. There's gonna be no Heyman. How is Heyman gonna get involved in this match? And then when there was no shark cage, it's like, oh, Heyman's just gonna enter with Brock, and they're gonna put the end of all of the fun.

And I've gotta tell you, Heyman walking out with Brock Lesnar, after everything that we've seen with Paul Heyman, right after. After everything that we saw years and years ago with CM Punk, after everything that we saw with the bloodline, Heyman not walking out with the vision, but just walking out with Brock Lesnar and kind of resetting priorities. As much as I loved. I mean, I lived for the bloodline.

I know. That's how your family ate.

That's how my family ate. That's how they still eat.

Megan
Well, because of the tribal chief, because.

Scam Roberts
Of the tribal chief. And also, you know, the royalties of the bloodline. The bloodline still is making money, so that's how they all eat. But there is something about Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar coming out together. Where you go, this was inevitable. This was always meant to be. The idea of Paul Heyman being with anybody else, the idea of Brock Lesnar not being with Paul Heyman, it was like this strange era that we convinced ourselves was real, but this was always what it was meant to be. It's like, you know, if. If. If. If your ex, like, breaks up with you and, like, is with this, the new person that you knew they should always be with anyway. And as much as you don't like it, you're like, I hate how much it just makes sense. Like, that's the way it was always supposed to be. And that's a bummer. And I'm sure that's Roman is sitting there going like, well, it was four years of my life, and I was.

Just in the way.

And it was always just supposed to be this. But didn't it feel that way when Heyman walked out with Lesnar?
- [13:31]
Megan
It did. It felt right. It looked right. And then Brock did what Brock does.

I mean, Brock was amazing. Brock was amazing going in and killing everybody.
- [13:42]
Megan
I mean, there was a minute when I think Michael Cole said on commentary, this could be the shortest war games we've ever seen. And I said, oh, yeah?

Do you think for a second it might be?

Megan
Yes.

Scam Roberts
That's the power of Brock Lesnar. Nobody else has that ability to make you believe.
- [13:55]
Megan
Would it end right now with no one else? I wouldn't believe it. But with Brock, we would have all just left Survivor Series with our jaws on the floor, which we did anyway.

Right.

But our jaws would have been on the floor in a different way.

And earlier, in a hole in our bellies, just unfulfilled, being like, he did it to us again.

I didn't like that Brock did it.

To us again, and he wouldn't have cared. But. So Brock comes in after the Jey USO Run it back party and just kills everyone, which is. What do you expect? Just everybody eating suplexes. And then Roman's music hits, and. I mean, it might have. It's one of my. I don't even know what to compare it to. I just love the visual of this. This aisle way that runs through the baseball stadium there in San Diego. So there's a corner on it, you know, like we sometimes see in Royal Rumbles. And stuff like that. And Roman coming around the corner and realizing that there is another lion standing in front of him, stopping him from getting to that War Games cage. And you realize that there's no turning back for Roman or Brock Lesnar. They are just here, King of the jungle. King of the jungle, staring each other down, making that, like, almost canine, like, aggressive eye contact.

We were foaming at the mouth in the studio, 100%, saying, Spear him.

Scam Roberts
Go spear him. We don't even know which one we met. No, we were just saying, spear him. We wanted to know who the. We wanted to know who the king of the jungle is.

We just wanted a collision to happen.
- [15:25]

And it happened. Roman steps up, Superman punch. Brock goes back. Superman punch again. Brock goes back. Superman punch again. Roman and I said, are they going to do a thing where Brock never even makes it to the cage? Would that technically be a retreat? Would Paul Heyman's team? And as I'm thinking about all this, he goes for that fourth Superman punch, and Brock just catches him and F5s him through the table. And you realize that the moment that we saw Monday night Raw is not going to be the defining thing about this. This version of Brock Lesnar.

No. Brock Lesnar brought Roman Reigns into the ring.
- [15:58]
Scam Roberts
Any. Any, any. Smashed him into the cage all the way there. I mean, that. Then we see the one thing that starts to slow Brock Lesnar down. We see the GTS into the crossroads.

We see Logan Paul breaks it up.
- [16:15]

Yeah. Logan Paul breaking up the pin attempt.

Oh, don't forget Paul Heyman giving Logan Paul the brass knucks, which was a.

Mistake because they slipped right out of Logan Paul's hand. And we got to see super Superman punches both. Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul take the brass knuckle, Superman punch. And then just as you think Bron Breaker is going to hit Roman with a spear, Roman, boom, levels him with one of his own. And I think my favorite spear of the night might have been. Brock has Jay up for an F5, and Roman spears him through a table.

That was the best. The table was sitting there. I was like, is someone going through that? I hope so.

And you don't even realize that, like, when you're. When you're up, when you got somebody up for an F5, your whole midsection, your whole core is all exposed, just ready. And Roman saw that, and Roman realized, like, there's no, like, oh, gee, I don't know. My cousin's, you know, gonna get F5. I better not. I bet it's just like, look, his is. His whole rib cage is wide open. I'm going to shatter it right now. And he spears Brock Lesnar. And so as this is all going down and people are getting laid out and it's becoming much more competitive because you're right. When that first F5 hit Roman Reigns, when Roman Reigns is thrown in the ring, and that's what you were mentioning earlier, and Brock hits that first F5 and goes for the COVID I thought it was it. I was like, oh, my God, are they just going to finish? Is it going to be one of those nights where it's like, no, Brock's here, so you're not getting what you want?

And we're used to that as wrestling fans.

And instead, I would say not upset, but with many, many questions. Because just as, as, as, as the match is getting to that heated point where you can feel something's about to happen, a masked man comes out of nowhere, scales the cage, enters the War Games cage fully masked, not like a luchador mask, not like Grande Americano, like, blacked out. No idea who this person is. Punk's looking at him, Bron Breaker's looking at him. Nobody really knows what the plan is here. And then, boom, we get a very Seth Rollins, like, super kick. We get a Seth Rollins, like, stomp to CM Punk, a look, a look over at Bron Breaker, and then scales the cage again, never to be seen again.

It cannot be Seth Rollins. I cannot.

I can't believe it's Seth Rollins. I can't believe he would get us twice.

His wife told Paul Heyman. You know his wife, right? Becky Lynch.

We'll get to that. Told Paul Heyman that her husband was coming back for everything that Paul Heyman loves in this business. I can't believe that Seth would come back. Mask do his Moves, but not unmask and just leave.

I don't think it's Seth Rollins.

No. I don't know who it is. I'm sitting there going like. I was like, why do I feel like it might be R Truth? And then I was like, oh, no, he just borrowed R. Truth's clothes for money in the Bank. It's probably not R Truth. That actually, other than the fact that R. Truth wore the same thing at Money in the bank, it makes zero sense.

It'd be a really wild twist. And it's like you're looking at every top guy is in this match. So I don't know, like, this is almost one of those things where I have to go to WWE.com and start looking through the roster.

I was starting to pull it up, right? I couldn't think of who it was.

And you're just sitting there and of course, the first guess is AJ Styles. Then you realize that's the first guess because his name starts with A and it's alphabetical. You're like, no, that makes literally no sense whatsoever. So I don't know. I mean, I'm assuming, you know, Paul Heyman didn't look frightened by the whole thing.

Of course he didn't.

I would imagine that Paul Heyman had something to do with this. Unless this is just some rogue agent there to take out CM Punk specifically. Either way, they celebrated that victory. Bron Breaker follows up all that with the aforementioned spear to CM Punk, who is representing Halloween 3, season of the Witch hard in those trunks. I have already sent messages to the Mattel design team to see if we can get an action figure of CM Punk in his Halloween 3 gear.

But, yeah, but I mean, maybe you won't want this action figure because you won't want to remember the night that he was pinned as world champion by Brom Breaker and Paul Heyman. Like a proud papa. And Logan, Paul and Drew McIntyre and Brom Breaker and Bronson. Reed and. Oh, yeah, Brock Lesnar are all smiles with their arms up in the air, victoriously celebrating a war games victory as Pyro goes off on a level that would make Chelsea Green just absolutely livid, as it should. Well, that's a whole nother story to get into. So there's that. But then back in the ring, this.

Yeah. Because it's, you know, it's over. But we're still wondering, right, what about the tension between Punk, Cody and Roman Reigns?

And I'm sitting there mainly going, punk and Roman.

Yeah. Because we know that Roman hates Pong. Hates.

Well, Roman is looking frustrated. Roman has lost a lot of matches this year compared to what he usually does. You know what I'm saying? Like, he's not used to entering.

Yeah. I mean, he won SummerSlam, but Jay got the pin. And since then he's.

Well, he beat Bronson Reed once.

So he goes and sits up. He's frustrated, clearly. And he walks over and he helps up CM Punk puts his arm down and CM Punk accepts the help. I was waiting for the other shoe to drop. Punk puts out the fist. Because I would argue that the tension between Punk and Cody, between Punk and Roman, between. Has not really been on Punk side. Punk has been less sort of tense about any of this War Game stuff than anybody else in the match has. He never seems like he has a real problem with anybody, which is maybe because he doesn't have those problems.

Well, he's a World Heavyweight Champion.

And it's like turned two years ago.

And Roman Reigns, part three, if you'll notice. And I was really watching this, Cody gets up. And it looked like Roman was prepared to help Cody up as well. But Cody snapped up, he didn't accept it, and he was looking right at Roman like, I don't want your help. I don't want anything to do with you. I don't want your help. I'm the captain.

But I also felt tension between Cody and Punk for a moment.

I believe that there probably was because Punk was like, why are you being like this? And Cody was like, why are you losing my matches? Cody is the top, and there's a lot of contention around being the top guy. And Cody is not satisfied being one of the top guys. The idea that Cody is not the top guy with the amount of work that he has put in with the journey that he took to get that championship twice. First from Roman Reigns. Imagine you have to tackle the obstacle that is Peak Bloodline, Roman Reigns. And as soon as you're done with that, John Cena is the next obstacle that you have to tackle. And still you have people around you going like, well, I'm also the top guy. And Cody's like, no, you're not. That's my interpretation of this, that I'm. That Cody is not. Cody referred to the War Games as his birthright. He didn't enter this match for his team to lose.

And he's not wrong. It is his birthright.

Of course it's his birthright. His dad created the match. And so Roman helping him up. It was almost as if Roman helping everybody was like, I'm the. For lack of a better term, I'm the big dog here. I'm going to help everybody up. And CM Punk was like, whatever. Like, it doesn't bother me. And Cody was like, no, you're not. You're not. I beat you and I beat you for it. That was the whole energy that I got from Cody. He wasn't going to fist bump him. He wasn't going to accept his help up. And then Roman. Okay. And then Roman turns around and looks at Cody and did you hear what he said?

I very much want to talk about Becky lynch, who tapped out and failed her team.

Yeah, I guess victories will do that. First of all, do we want to talk about. Do we want to talk about the gear? I noticed you came in, you were all kind of denimed out and we see it now and they were talking on commentary about what it was all about. Talk to us about the dedication of this gear.

So I think over the last two years, there were little Easter eggs all over my gear and my jacket that have kind of meant a lot to me. More so on my jacket. And then when I was out on injury, mj, this guy who works with social media had a bunch of kids at the show and one of them, her name was Scarlet, and she was convinced that Scarlet had the same name as Charlotte. So I was randomly sitting at home depressed, being out with my knee injury, and MJ text me, she's like, hey, do you mind? He's like, hey, do you mind facetiming this little girl who thinks she has your name? And I was like, no. Like, oh, people remember who I am. Like, absolutely. So we FaceTime and I met her, but I kind of stayed in contact with her mom this whole time. So anytime I've had shows and I've been able to see her see the. Her sister and the family, and she just gave me a lot of perspective while I was out about what matters and seeing her struggle and continue to fight and be so strong at such a Young age when, like, we think we're having a bad day, we're really not. Like, it could be so much worse. And all these little things that I love. I felt like she inspired me. Not. I don't want to use the word inspired because it's cliche, but. I don't know. She just brought out a softness in me, and I thought the gear was the most different I've ever worn and had one made for her and just that we could have this moment together and what she means to me and her family and if I could give a little bit of, you know, excitement to her day of the monotonous of what it's like having to fight cancer, I can't imagine. So it was just all for her.

I think that's an amazing perspective, like, realizing that as you're having that bad day, how much worse it can get. And I'm sure having that gear and wearing it and everything is just kind of reinforcing that moment.

That's it. Just like, hey, this is for you. If I could do something so small in the big scheme of life for her to make her day better and for her family, I'm gonna do it. And I hope, you know, that gives her all week. I was sending her pictures of her hat and her jacket and the T shirt coming. I can't wait to see you, Scarlett. I can't wait to see you. And I just hope that gave her and her family that little relief that they have with what she's fighting every day that I can't. And no one, unless you've been through that, can relate to and how hard that is. So when you wake up tired and have to do something, you're like, I'm really like, I get to work out. I get to go to work. I get to do these things. And it's perspective. Like, why am I having a bad day? I'm not. It's just being petty or whatever. We lose sight of what's important, and it's those connections that I've met along the way. And that fan, like, she really just, I don't know, like, touched me.

Yeah, it's been. I mean, it's been a really remarkable year for you in general. And I feel like kind of this being the last ple. Of the year is putting that in context for a lot of people. But you included where you started at the beginning of the year kind of. It seemed like figuring out exactly who you were and almost Trying to reconnect with the audience in terms of what they expected from you and what you expected the reaction to be and finding that middle ground for you to get to the end of the year here and for you to kind of be in this spot where you are universally cheered, whatever city that you go to, where you are not only a member of the good guys War Games team, but you are the one that's in the ring the entire time and you're the one that, that. That people are cheering for at the. At the end of the match. Do you feel like you've been on a journey in that respect all year?

Yeah, I think. Cena pulled me aside after WrestleMania and was like, you don't have to be perfect all the time. And then I wrote the Players Tribune piece and I felt like for so long, I felt like just all this pressure of, like, always having to be perfect and wanting to be perfect. When I really truly realized after everything I just kind of been through and in front of the audience, I felt like I always had to be indestructible. When really, like, getting to know my flaws and my insecurities and who I am as, like, who Ashley is as a person allowed me to connect with them. And like, all those things that I was scared of, of them knowing or failing or not being good enough or my age or whatever it is.

Was like, you know what? This is me here. Like, I don't know, it was like, what made me special were all those things that I've been through and letting the audience see that, and they've just been on this, like, roller coaster with me. A softer side and having an on camera friendship that I haven't. I've been a solo act for so long, and I felt like was a bigger moment for me than Rumble. Like, it felt like I've won the title how many times? But, like, that felt special and organic and like, no one had that on their bingo card.

And it's just been. It's been awesome being able to let go of the pressure and just enjoy the WWE Universe. Be like, hey, I grew up in front of you guys. I love you guys. Number two, it's almost impossible to achieve. And number three, when you do achieve it, people are gonna be like, yeah, that's not that cool.

You know, it's funny. Well, it's funny. You know, you talk about it's taken you 10 years to figure this out. And then you look at this women's War Games match and I mean, there's just the biggest stars in the industry in the women's War Games match. You know, it's Charlotte Flair, it's Becky lynch, you have Nia Jax, Alexa Bliss, I mean, Rhea Ripley. Star studded doesn't even begin to describe this. And you're in the ring mixing up with people that you have a deep history, but you are a different Charlotte Flair. So what was that like, having that all come together tonight.

Starting with Oscar. She really is one of my wrestling soulmates. Having the moment with Becky and the Four Horsewomen. And here we are 10 years later, still going at it. EO I was against IO in my first war games in 2023 before I got hurt against the Kabuki's when I was damaged.

So to now be on the same side as her. And then, you know, I had this like little proud moment watching Ria come out. So I was like, we've had two wrestlemanias against each other, multiple matches, multiple pay per views, and then just seeing the mega star that she has turned into, it's like I got to see all that firsthand and I was very proud. And then to be on the same side as her too, because we've been against each other for so long, but it really is like I had history with almost every single girl out there except for aj, but I kind of feel connected to AJ because I was the last and final Divas champion. So you had AJ and then Nikki was the longest, so I feel like a part of that history. And then to be in the ring with her, really a full circle moment if people think about it. Because we were two diva champions.

Absolutely, yeah. And I think that's, I mean, I.

Keep talking about, I could go on and on, but those are just like, I think like the highlights.

Well, well, yeah. And I think one of the highlights was, and this was something that Megan and I had talked about going into this match was that we were both pretty excited about the potential of there at least being a moment between you and Becky, because, you know, regardless of. Of, you know, what's real and what story for fans, Charlotte and Becky is one of those things that will never get old, that will last forever. And I mean, from a fan perspective, from my perspective, I think from Megan's perspective as well, we view you guys in that wrestling soulmate category, whether you're getting along or not. Is there. Was there a feeling when you guys looked face to face for the first time in a long time and actually started getting physical again?

Well, yeah, I think it was, you know, the last time we saw each other in the ring, we hugged, and then here we are. It was in the last War Games. So we haven't. We haven't crossed. We haven't crossed paths at all. Like, even when War Games was settled and the teams were settled, Becky and I didn't have any interaction. So to kind of have that moment in there was like, I don't know, it's just like, you'll stand the test of time, whether we're teaming or not teaming again.

But at the same time, I think too, the history you were talking about with Rhea Ripley, and that was a big story going into this match, that you two having a history played into it, you touched on it. But the reality is that, you know, the first time you guys met at WrestleMania, at 36, during the pandemic, this was Rhea Ripley fresh off of nxt and really, I don't think had fully found herself at all when it comes to performing on the main roster. And you go, you know, five, six years into the future, and here she is right up there with the Charlotte Flairs and the Becky Lynch's of the biggest stars in the industry, 100%. Did you see that change happening or is that one of those things that you observe now and go, damn, she did it.

Oh, no, I saw it at 39. From there, it was sky's the limit. After. After WrestleMania 39, boom. I felt like that solidified her as a. Like the rest was history.

Kept growing and growing and growing. Like it was just like, you know, those balls that roll to keep getting bigger and bigger and bigger. That's just what she's turned into.

They put out the commercial like a day or two ago for WrestleMania with the women sitting all at the table, the top stars in the industry. You are there. You have now won this War games match with your team. You went the distance, too. You were the first one in. Went the distance again, by the way. That's kind of a flare thing to do. I feel like the. The tag team run was incredibly successful with Alexa Bliss, but you're not a tag team champion anymore. As. As you now start looking towards what next year is going to be, start getting into the sort of WrestleMania mind frame of what may be happening. Do you want to step back into going, okay, now that I've kind of redefined who Charlotte Flair is, I want to see what this Charlotte Flair looks like as a singles wrestler. Or do you think teaming is still more where your head's at?

I think for the last couple years of my career and what I've wanted, I have felt like I've been struggling to feel like I needed control and meaning. Like, I thought I had a vision for myself and what I needed to do and what I needed to be and what title I needed to hold or how I needed to be in the title. Like, what character or what dominance I needed to be in the title scene. I don't know what the future holds for me, honestly, whether that's winning again with Lexi, whether that's, you know, winning an opportunity to face Jade or even Stephanie. I don't. I don't know. I just want to be better. I still. I know people don't get this, but, like, just because you've accomplished so much, you don't lose that hunger. Like, Bailey texted me tonight, we have this nickname. She said the nickname, and she was like, good job. I'm so proud. Like, I love knowing, like, I can still continue. I don't know what the. What looks like for me. I would have never pictured myself here today. Eight months ago, seven months ago, I was so lost. So I don't know, if I get put back in the title scene, then I'm just gonna give it the best I got, I guess. I don't. Yeah, I don't have something that I want. I. I think I Always wanted certain things where this is just kind of taking me on this journey.

I mean, it's amazing. On his retirement, Tory, we talk about all the matches, but it's those backstage interactions, too, that have made a difference in so many people's careers and so many moments that we've seen in front of the camera. What has John Cena meant to you throughout your wrestling career?

Just the gold standard. I mean, the way he interacts with the audience, whether, you know, one minute they're saying, john, let's go, Cena. Cena sucks. And then getting the whole crowd standing up on their feet and what he does with make a wish, what he's able to do with his opponents, his charisma, his work ethic, his love for the business. I don't. He's just like the total package of what it means to be a WWE Superstar.

Dominic Mysterio, and he must have gotten this idea watching poor Penta in his match with Solo in the John Cena tournament, because Dom goes for a similar Hurricane Rana off the. You know, off the. Off the barricade there. And it looks like he hurts his shoulder. And John Cena gets in the ring. You kind of see on his face, John Cena was like, I'm not trying to injure young guys. In my second to last match, it.

And while the referees are distracted and at first you go, are they just, like, buying time? Because out of nowhere, Raquel Rodriguez hits John Cena with a Tahana bomb and Roxanne Perez hits John Cena with pop rocks. John Cena takes the finishers of both of these powerful women, and he is seeing butterflies.

I mean, having Raquel and Roxanne involved in the match was not the way I predicted finishers and Dominic Mysterio, when those two entered, I said, oh, I didn't expect that. The judgment day has not been on the same page, but that's okay.

I mean, I wasn't shocked. To see two beautiful women at the side of Dominic Mysterio. It was such a wild turn of emotions earlier today. I texted you, I all of my predictions for Survivor series tonight, and one of them, I said, liv Morgan comes back. As soon as I saw Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez enter with Dirty Dom, I said, there's no way Liv's coming back, right? It's not going to happen.

How do we put a bow on this before the end of the year? How do we put a bow on what happened at elimination chamber? And we see beautifully shot camera right on Liv's face as she does the full on John Cena face. Except with much more loco in the eyes. She looks nuts. And I go, that's John Cena face.
