Breaking news from Real America's Voice.
Terrence Bates
We begin this Wednesday morning with breaking news as President Trump just arrived in China, his arrival happening literally just moments ago. They just opened the doors here of Air Force One and we're waiting for the commander in chief to show his face there at the door and then deboard and come down those stairs. He'll of course, have a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping later tonight. Our time. It would be tomorrow morning Chinese time time. Let's bring in Dr. Gina David Brody. Dr. Gina in West Palm Beach, David Brody in Washington, D.C. i'm Terrence Bates. Again, appreciate you being here with us on this morning as President Trump just arriving in China. David, your expectations for what, if anything will come out of this meeting, or do you see it more as posturing, setting an atmosphere for future talks and future interactions with the Chinese?
David Brody
Yeah, I think a lot of it will be atmosphere. Having said that, obviously trade, the Iran war, the president and we'll talk about this later. Bringing a lot, lot of global or, excuse me, American executives on the plane with him, a lot of AI folks, a lot of big business leaders. So we'll talk about that. But as we are in the moment here, Gina, to me, I always look at the protocol as to what will happen. The last time President Trump was in Beijing was November of 2017. President Xi Jinping did not greet him at the airport. That is customary, typically that the president of China will not go to the airport to greet another head of state, even if it's the president of the United States. So last time the president was greeted by a top state official. I'm assuming that will be the case again. This time there are selected Chinese school children that will be there waving Chinese flags, American flags as well. So there'll be, we understand there'll be a red carpet. We'll see. We haven't seen the red carpet yet, but they may be rolling it out on the wide shot. I'm not quite sure. But this was about a 16 hour flight with the President 7,000 miles. It's about 8pm 8am here. It's 8pm on Wednesday evening in China right now, Gina.
Dr. Gina Loud
Well, it's really lovely of Xi to let the children out of their labor camps to come greet our president. I think that was really just so benevolent of that dictator. I think it's really interesting to note as we kind of watch everything unfold on this trip, that the strait remains choked and that's not helping China. I think it's interesting to note that we are in other negotiations, in other conflicts that could go get interesting. Right. While the president is there. So there's a lot to watch over this couple day trip, I think.
Terrence Bates
Absolutely. And you said a couple of day trip. It really is an in and out trip. He just arrived. As we said, he'll spend tonight our time meeting with President. There will be some other kind of ceremonial things happening on Thursday and Friday. He's headed back home. So it is a very quick trip for the president. Of course, we'll continue to keep this picture up as we watch and wait for the president to arrive here and deboard Air Force One to get into the rest of some of the ceremonial welcomes and greetings there in China. In the meantime, as we keep this picture up, Dr. Gina, would you give us our Bible verse, please?
Dr. Gina Loud
Up to today's Bible verse goes like this. It's from First Peter 5, 6, 6 and 7, 5 rather chapter 5, verses 6 and 7. There we go. In case you're following along with us there at home. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God that he may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon him, for he cares for you. All right, let's bring in for our Congressman Randy Fine. Congressman, do you think major substance comes from this trip? Do you think it'll be a little, a little more stressful than the last trip or a little less stressful? And what do you think is in President Trump's mind versus what is in Xi's mind as they meet today.
Congressman Randy Fine
Well, thanks for having me this morning. Look, I'm optimistic about the trip because I believe in President Trump and I think he's focused on two things going into the trip. Number one is pressuring China to help us with Iran. They need the oil from Iran. We do not. So they have a reason to help us bring that in for a landing, and I hope that they will. And I think the second thing you can see in the CEOs that he is bringing with him, that he intends to make trade a focal part of the trip. I hope that he pushes the Chinese as it relates to AI, a subject on which I've introduced multiple bills in Congress, because we are in a technology war with China over whose technology stack will reign supreme as it relates to AI. And AI can be weaponized, and we don't want the Chinese to be able to use that as a weapon against us.
David Brody
Congressman, he obviously the president is going to want some help on the Iranian situation. And my sense of it is, and you tell me if you think I'm wrong here, that Xi Jinping will play along to a degree on that. But the president of China is going to want something in return. And my sense of it is, is that that'll have to do with Taiwan, that he will want somehow, some way the president or this administration to kind of tamp down some of, if not the rhetoric, some sort of, not that they're going to change the policy towards about Taiwan, but something along the lines where Xi Jinping can feel like America is not going so rabid against China when it comes to Taiwan. What's your sense on that?
Congressman Randy Fine
Well, I think there's many things that the president can offer China, certainly things relating to sanctions. But we have to remember that China is being hurt by the conflict in Iran far more than we are. Look, the cost to Americans is not trivial. No one likes paying a dollar or $1.50 more a gallon. Nobody likes that. But China can't get the oil it needs for its economy to fly function. So we pay a little bit more because of higher demand on the world market. They can't get the product they need to make their economy function. So China benefits as well from this being resolved. Frankly, they benefit far more than we will, and I think the president understands that.
Terrence Bates
Congressman, many experts will say that we are currently at war with China, but it's not a military war. It is a technological war. You mentioned AI and how, you know, there's kind of this wrangling right now, this battle between the US And China in terms of getting the upper hand. What other technological issues do you see and would you like the President to address with China during this upcoming trip or during this trip now?
Congressman Randy Fine
Well, I think China sees it at war with us. I think the problem we have is we don't often see the reverse. There's obviously AI, which I mentioned. There's technology. TikTok was a vehicle that was used by China to try to pollute the minds of Americans. I think we see Chinese money flooding social media to try to distort people's views of the world and to divide Americans. I think we see Chinese money funding so called protests in America that appear to be organic but are actually funded. And then there's obviously the trade issues where we need to make sure that American companies can compete fairly in the Chinese market. And I think that's why you see President Trump bringing trillions of dollars of CEO material with him to China. Whether it's Elon Musk or Jensen Huang, there are so many CEOs going over because trade between our two countries is important. Trade will ultimately be what frees China from, as Dr. Gina pointed out earlier, a dictatorial leader. We have to remember the values that are going to run the world are at stake in this fight. We don't want the world to be run on the dictatorial scheme that China uses. We need freedom, which we have in America.
Terrence Bates
And Congressman, if I can just follow up really quickly. I apologize, Gina, but when you said something, I think it's important to point out that just this week, the Department of Justice indicted a woman in California, a former mayor of Arcadia, California, just outside of Los Angeles, basically, for spewing propaganda, spewing Chinese propaganda through websites here in the United States. That's another example of what you were just describing, how China is tampering in us in the United States, even culturally, if you will.
Congressman Randy Fine
One of the things I've observed in my time in Washington is foreign money floods this place. And now what you saw in California is the extreme example where a foreign government is literally paying an elected official. But you know the Eric Swalwell story where he was messing around with a Chinese spy. These people are everywhere and they can attack us from outside the country or they can attack us from within. It's something that we have to be very cautious about. And I think it's something that President Trump is on top of. And I know that we're working on it in Congress as well.
David Brody
Well, we are looking right now at the President of the United States coming down the tarmac or on the tarmac there, coming down the steps. Unlike Biden, he'll do just fine on the steps. And so it makes you wonder, let's take a look at this and lie. Do we have audio at all or no? Do we not have audio, guys? Probably not. We do have a little bit of audio. Let's listen in just for a second. Yeah, not much you can really hear at this point,
Terrence Bates
But it's nice to see, David, that the president is getting a reception. You can see some of those flags being waved there. And we're going to broaden out this shot here momentarily. And you can see kind of the audience or the group that is on site. Can we take the second shot in preview so we can really see the wide shot of this group?
David Brody
Yeah, look at that.
Terrence Bates
There are the flags opening President Trump. There you have the flags and you can see that, you know, there's this welcome ceremony and the president getting ready to come down the red carpet. Dr. Gina yeah.
Dr. Gina Loud
And you know, David, you cracked me up that you pointed to the stairs, those stairs. Well, I don't go off. I've never been off the front ones. But you've probably been off the back ones too, as has the congressman. And they are extraordinarily steep and extraordinarily shallow in terms of narrow place for your foot. And so I remember thinking, golly, how do people go down these stairs all the time? President Trump with big feet seems to have no problem getting down there, unlike Joe Biden. I think that is sometimes interesting to point out. Every time he goes down, I hold my breath. I'm not going to lie because I remember thinking I'm going to fall on these heels. But no, you know, the communist. What do you want to say? Ambiance, I guess it's here in full force.
David Brody
Congressman, Congressman.
Terrence Bates
Go ahead, David, you, Congresswoman, please go ahead.
David Brody
I can't.
Dr. Gina Loud
Can I ask the congressman a question? Because I had one in mind, actually. Terrence, you took mine because I thought that was a really good one. Your follow up question was my question, but that's fine because I have another question. So the criticism among those who feel sort of divided right now in maga, the America first people, or however you want to categorize them, Congressman, points to President Trump spending so much time, you know, abroad, not spending enough time at home, not doing enough about our problems here at home. I just want to give you a chance to speak to that.
Congressman Randy Fine
Well, you know, I think that's crazy. I think Donald Trump works more in a day than Joe Biden probably did in a month. The guy works 20, 21, 22 hours every single day. He's shown the ability to take on unbelievable number of issues simultaneously. And he's got an extraordinary team that works on all of these issues as well. I mean, even while he's abroad, we're gonna be working with his leaders and his administration on education policy this week in the committee that I sit on. So I think the president is tackling
Public Investing Announcer
all of the issues.
Congressman Randy Fine
But I would note this. There's nothing worse that could happen to America than a nuclear bomb going off in Washington, D.C. or Denver or West Palm Beach. I mean, that would be horrible. And so the President understands there are real threats around the world, and we have to deal with them. And frankly, as well as it relates to China, we. China's a threat to the United States with our trade policies. He's gotta make sure Americans can have jobs and that China doesn't destroy our economy. So I think this president works harder than any president has in American history. And I'm grateful for what he does every day. I don't know how he does it. I mean, to be honest, he makes
David Brody
me tired just watching him speaking about being honest. Let's be honest, President Trump is loving this reception. We know that for sure. And my understanding is there'll be flags all across the motorcade as he makes his way into town, if you will. You know, what's been kind of strange to me is that there's so many MAGA conservatives that talk about China in such concerning tones, and rightfully so, that we're at war with China, as Terrence mentioned before, geograph or excuse me, informationally and otherwise. And there's a lot of negativity when it comes to China and what they're trying to do, and yet we're seeing the pomp and circumstance. I understand you got to play the diplomatic game, but the humanitarian issues that China is forcing on its people and others is very concerning. But Trump doesn't play that part of the game. He typically downplays that part and wants to make a deal. And that's why we see so many of the business leaders on the play with them. I'm wondering if you could see speak to that aspect of it.
Congressman Randy Fine
Well, look, the Chinese culture is one of the great cultures of the world going back thousands of years. And I think one of the things that's important for us to do is to separate the Chinese culture from the communist culture, which is a relatively recent invention in China. Less than 100 years old. And so I think what we're trying to separate is the greatness of the Chinese people and the Chinese culture from communist totalitarianism, which is used to fight with us. And we'd like to see that Chinese culture merged with democratic values. I think that would resolve the issues that you're talking about. But part of that is to stand up for American values, whether that's in trade or protecting Taiwan or defeating Iran. But China is our number one adversary in the world right now, far more than Russia, far more than Iran. We took out Venezuela, Venezuela as an adversary, and they have so many people and they're willing to use their economy in such manipulative ways that what President Trump is doing makes sense. We need to engage. If you go back to Covid, part of the disaster of COVID was we could not appropriately respond and hold China accountable. China was responsible for Covid, but we couldn't hold them accountable because we then needed them for the equipment to deal with COVID That's a mistake that we can never allow to happen again. And I think Donald Trump understands that, and that's part of why you see him there in China right now.
Terrence Bates
Congressman, just a few minutes ago, you mentioned that President Trump does more in a day than Joe Biden did in an entire month. And we were really talking about his stamina, and I think that really is going to be on display today. We see that he's just arrived in his motorcade, is now beginning to move into the city of Beijing. But he won't be meeting with Xi Jinping, the President of China, until tonight. Our time, about 10 o' clock Eastern Time, which would be the morning, about 10 o' clock in the morning there in China. That really gives you an idea of the sort of stamina he's going to have to have. Yeah, he may take a little bit of a nap, but I suspect we'll be getting some truth socials and there will be some other deals being made throughout the day. Even leading up to that 10pm meeting,
Congressman Randy Fine
he didn't, he didn't bring all of these CEOs with him for no reason. I think there's going to be a flurry of activity not only done by the president, but his team. And I think that's one of the other things that makes Donald Trump so impressive, is how he manages his team. He has brought together all stars in their own right. And because President Trump has such self confidence, it doesn't daunt him to have them around him, to give them credit and to send them off to do various missions. So I think you're going to see so much activity, not only by people like Marco Rubio, one of my friends from Florida, but all of these CEOs, they didn't go to do window dressing. They went to get things done. I don't know what all of those things are, but I think you'll see those things happening throughout the day.
Dr. Gina Loud
Do you think that President Trump can possibly, especially if we remain with these inflation numbers and some of the other problems we have domestically, we have Gen Z saying we don't think we are going to get a part of the American dream. The economy is too concerning. AI is taking over our jobs. We are just dismal about the future when we think about it. Do you think President Trump can take some of what he's doing in China, especially in light of bringing some of these executives that he's brought congressmen, and relate that back to how that ultimately will affect the economy in time for the midterms?
Congressman Randy Fine
I do. I think the biggest issue affecting the economy right now is that extra dollar or $1.50 people are paying for gasoline right now. And I do believe the conflict in Iran will be resolved long before the midterms. And I think gas prices will come back down. Beyond that, the economy is going extremely well. And make no mistake, while it's going through transition, that's capitalism. When cars were invented, I'm sure the people who were in the horse and buggy business were very worried. Think of all of the businesses that used to exist, Blockbuster, all of the ways that people used to shop that have gone away, but it is replaced with something that is more efficient, more creative. That's the idea of capitalism. So people do have a lot to worry about with AI But AI will create massive new opportunities as well as. It's why we just gotta be focused every day and why we're lucky we have an entrepreneur who's president, who understands that the world tomorrow won't be the way the world is today. What I do know is this, as worried as people are about the world, I don't think there's anyone better positioned to solve it than Donald Trump. And I thank God it's not Kamala Harris that's in charge.
Terrence Bates
Yeah, absolutely. Congressman Fine, we appreciate your time. Thanks for rolling with the punches this morning. A lot happening as President Trump just arrived there in China. And we appreciate you joining us for that coverage. Thanks so much, Congressman.
David Brody
Thanks for being a fourth anchor. Thank you.
Terrence Bates
Thanks.
Congressman Randy Fine
Thanks for having me. Anytime.
Terrence Bates
All right, we'll talk soon. Let's switch gears a little bit, folks, and get a quick check of our forecast. Weather Nation meteorologist Tracy Anthony standing by now with an eye on the skies. Tracy, good morning.
Tracy Anthony (Meteorologist)
Hey, good morning, Terrence. You know, one of the big stories here today is going to be the heat. And I'm talking about the high plains areas like Jackson, Wyoming. Yes, you always love the heat. Yes, you're going to be warm in Denver. Temperature's going to be in the 90s. But we're feeling temperatures at 94 degrees in Billings, Montana. So this isn't always the places where we have some of the warmest temperatures. And it's about 30 degrees above average for this time of year. So extremely warm for Montana for parts of Wyoming. And yes, that does stretch into Denver. We are going to have a ridge of high pressure that builds into the Central Plains. So we're talking more record heat for Kansas all the way through Texas into the rest of the work week. Now we're pretty warm across the country. The two northern coasts are a little on the cooler side. That's where temperatures are in the 60s. But it's been relatively nice. Now, Florida, a little bit different. They've been dealing with some torrential downpours, but unfortunately it hasn't been in the south spots that they need it because we do still have some fire danger that is impacting the Everglades. Broward county, this is the Max Road fire. This fire has burned over 11,000 acres in just two days. So most of the rain stayed north of where they need it the most here across Florida. So more rain in the forecast today. But Terrence, it's that heat that's really the top headline from coast to coast.
Terrence Bates
All right. Well, I'm glad you guys are getting some rain down there in Florida even though it's not necessarily the places that need it most. But so much of the country under a drought. So anytime you have rain in the forecast these days, it's a good thing. Thanks so much. Good to talk to you.
Tracy Anthony (Meteorologist)
Of course. Yeah. Don't forget to drop your hometown forecasts in the social chats. I'll have your hometown forecast next hour.
Terrence Bates
All right. Thanks, Tracy. Up next, new reporting suggests that Iran's missile threat may not be as so significantly destroyed as officials had claimed. Some sites actually are still intact and launchers are still functional. So how big is the danger? We'll have expert analysis.

The U.S. capitol. They'll name a post office and consider themselves heroes. Welcome back, everybody, to American sunrise. All right. U.S. intelligence Police believes Iran may still retain a significant portion of its missile capabilities despite recent US And Israel airstrikes. Now, according to the New York Times, some missile sites and mobile launchers are still believed to be partially or fully operational, raising questions about the current state of Iran's missile force. All right, let's bring in the US Deputy Director of the National Council of Resistance to Iran. That would be Alireza Jafarzadeh. Alireza, thanks for being here. This is a troubling report, if true, with the New York Times. And we always have to say the words if true when it comes to the New York Times. But I know Jonathan Swan, the reporter over there, he's, he's pretty solid usually in his reporting. This has got to be concerning all of this. And they've still got significant capabilities. That's a problem.
Dr. Jared Ross
Good morning.
Alireza Jafarzadeh
Good morning to you all, certainly. I mean, just keep in mind that the missile program of the Iran regime has been one of the most central elements of their entire strategy over the years. Back in 2009, Supreme Leader Khamenei at the time actually dissolved the air force of the IRGC and created what they called Airspace force, which is entirely focused on missiles and drones. They allocated much of the resources of the nation. Billions of dollars were spent on that. We exposed a few years ago, 42 sites all over the country that was used for either production or the launch of missiles across the country. Having said that, that is also a very telling story. It shows you that the Iranian regime is weak and vulnerable, that that's why they have to rely on their missile program to stay in power. Why would you spend a rich country like Iran spend, you know, much of your resources on building missiles, developing nuclear weapons, and all of that, whereas 80% of the population live below the poverty line. So I see signs of weakness and desperation there.
Terrence Bates
So what you just asked, why would you spend all that money on missiles? I guess my counter question to that would be, well, isn't the regime spending all that money on missiles and on weaponry because they're in the business of terrorism, they're in the business of attacking people? Isn't that the answer to that question?
Alireza Jafarzadeh
Absolutely. I mean, this is a regime that is built on terrorism, on weapons of mass destruction, but also on the killing of their own people. That's the only way they stay in power. Remember, you know, these mollahs are masters of portraying themselves as though they're in charge. They're speaking from the position of power. Not so. They have never been so weak and desperate. Not because, you know, much of their military structure were targeted since two months ago, and some of their leadership was eliminated. But most importantly, it's the internal situation. Remember, just in January of This year, all 31 provinces of Iran were engulfed in uprisings. People chanting, death to Khamenei. Death with the dictator. Death to the oppressor. Be the shah or the supreme leader. The regime had to kill thousands and thousands of them to stay in power. And right now, in the middle of the war, the regime started executing political prisoners. They started with members of the main opposition, the mek, which is the same movement that exposed all the major nuclear sites of Iran and acts as the engineering for, you know, during the protest, engine for change. And then they expanded that to the young people, 18, 19 years old, who were arrested in January of this year because they confronted the Revolutionary Guards. They wanted to disarm them. This is the new Iran, you know, the revolting population that wants nothing but the end of the rule of the clerics. And that's why this coming Saturday, I should say this, too, right here in Washington, May 16, there's a huge rally organized. Thousands are coming at the nation's capitol next to the Senate building, calling for the end of the executions, but also supporting change in Iran. So saying Iran does have an alternative. It's led by a woman, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi. There is a structure on the ground that's been fighting the regime. All the world needs to do is to line up their vectors and stand on the side of the people.

The US Iran conflict could loom over President Trump's meeting, of course, with Chinese President Xi and undoubtedly, honestly will right. Both sides want the summit to move forward with US China relations, trade technology, fentanyl AI the strait Taiwan economy expected on the agenda. There's a lot to talk about. Experts say the Iran conflict could complicate Trump's hand because Beijing resists US Pressure to help reopen that Strait of Hormuz. So how do you see Iran factoring into the summit overall?
Alireza Jafarzadeh
Well, certainly the Iran issue, if not the, you know, the top priority, one of the top priorities, I have no doubt about that. But I think and I hope actually the world understands that when it comes to the Strait of Hormuz, when it comes to the conflict in the region, the Iran regime has its own vulnerabilities. You know, the regime itself is losing as a result of the closure of the Strait of Hormuz because, you know, they rely heavily on the export of oil and the economy is in shambles. You know, remember the January uprising? It was instigated by the deteriorating value of the Iranian currency. All the other previous protests were somehow connected to the economy of the country. So the regime is not at the driver's seat. They are the ones who are weak. They are vulnerable. I think that should be understood when you go to any negotiating table, any talk that this is not a regime that is 10ft tall. This is a regime that is desperate, vulnerable as a result of the economic situation, but most importantly, rejected by its own population that should weigh in heavily in any talks anywhere.

All right, let's quickly change gears, talk Medicare. A lot of folks aren't getting the full story. Most Medicare agents push Medicare Advantage plans even when they're not right for you. So the question is why? Well, it's because that's where the money is for them. But here's the problem. Seniors are paying the price and that's what makes chapter different. They're going to walk you through original Medicare, Medigap, Medicare Advantage and Part D. But the pros and the cons, they're all going to be laid out so you can make the right call for your health needs. Donna said her chapter advisor walked her through every option and explained everything in a way she could actually understand. Plus, they saved her thousands of dollars. So if you're on Medicare or will be soon, this is what you do. You call 8 4-3-MEDHELP to learn about enrollment options and find ways to save. It's free, it's quick. They can review your options in under 20 minutes. And the truth of the matter is, most people wish they had called sooner. All right, more American Sunrise, everybody, after the break.

Hi, welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. G. Thanks for joining us. Time now for today's health news sponsored by the Wellness Company under the Microscope. Today. FDA Commissioner Marty Makary has resigned following internal tensions within the agency and conflicts with the White House. Disagreements over flavored VAPE regulations and drug approval policies have been cited in reporting as areas of significant traffic friction. There was also a big push by pro life groups because of his slow walking the abortion safety study. So a lot going on there. This move comes after weeks of speculation about potential leadership changes at the fda. Kyle Diamantes will serve as acting commissioner, according to officials, while a permanent replacement is sought. Are we on the verge of another pandemic? Is the hype real? Should we be worried? Is this just another effort to terrorize Americans before an election? Who can we trust besides each other? Right here in this little room, right with each other? Well, that's where the Wellness Company comes in. You see and hear from their doctors all the time. You know their products are the gold standard for keeping you safe and healthy. The Wellness Company prepares you for whatever happens with their series of prescription med kits. These kits have an Assortment of life saving medications and guidebooks to assist in the proper use of the meds in the kit. The wellness company offers a variety of products from parasite cleanses, methylene blue, weight loss, so much more. These can help you stay healthy and live a longer, more satisfying life. Be prepared, not scared. Go to TWC Health RAV. Give it an order. TWC Health RAV. Use the promo code RAV. It'll save you 10%. Debro.
David Brody
Yes, I always like saving 10%.
Dr. Gina Loud
Just so you know, who doesn't, right?
David Brody
I mean, have you ever heard anybody say, no, I'd rather not save money?
Dr. Gina Loud
I would rather say like 60%.
David Brody
Well, there's that. Yeah, there is that. Okay, well, then, you know, I'm going to move on. Should I do that? I probably should.
Martha Stewart
All right.
David Brody
A new Atlas poll is giving an early look at the 2028 presidential field. So the survey shows Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez leading among Democrat voters with about 26% support. And then of course, they hand out barf backs. On the Republican side, Secretary of State Marco Rubio led with 45%, followed by Vice President J.D. vance at about 30%. Well, that's interesting. Hold on. That made me think for a moment. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, by the way, came in third with about 11% support. All right, so for more, let's bring in politics editor for the Daily Signal. That would be Bradley Devlin. Bradley, good to have you. You know, a lot of talk with J.D. vance and Marco Rubio. Can we talk about DeSantis for a moment? I mean, he ran for president. The rumor mill has it that he's going to possibly run again. Do you think he'll run? And do you think he's learned any lessons from the first time? If he does so.
Dr. Jared Ross
Good morning.
Bradley Devlin (Politics Editor, Daily Signal)
Good morning to you. I like Governor DeSantis quite a lot. I think it's a bold play for him to go up against Marco Rubio and J.D. vance, assuming both of them are running. Assuming that at least one of them is running, because what's the differentiation there? You already tried to do the non maga conservative lane back in 2024, and you ran right into the Buzzsaw. So I think, I think his best move is probably running for vice president. Pick your horse, pick it early. Problem that he's going to run into with Rubio is they're both from Florida. So perhaps, perhaps he decides to come down early in favor of J.D. vance and becomes his top surrogate and tries to become vice president that way. And then cross your Fingers for some type of Vance Rubio clash and rift that makes Vance not want Rubio as his vice president or something like that. And then, you know, we've seen governors already step into the 2028 waters in the form of Glenn Youngkin. Glenn Youngkin saying He's, he's supporting J.D. vance. So we'll see where it goes for DeSantis. I would love to see him back into the fold in a big way. But 2024, he just ran into a buzzsaw. He was the number one pick for vice president at that point. Trump would have just moved to New Jersey to make everything up and up on the constitutional side, you know, go live in Bedminster. But instead, he ran right into the teeth of the MAGA movement.
Dr. Gina Loud
Yeah, yeah. And I don't think MAGA has forgiven him, at least not in Florida. I can't speak for the whole country, but I can tell you that the people even that supported Ron DeSantis can't get in, can't get consulting jobs anymore. I mean, it has really changed the complexion of the Republican Party in Florida. No one is forgetting who they feel betrayed them during that election, at least in Florida. I can't speak for MAGA nationwide, but I can tell you in Florida, I still hear it all the time. It's not even subtle. It's not a whisper campaign. It's just, oh, no, don't you remember? She was with DeSantis. Like, that's a line, a line that Florida people will not forget. And you were on one side or the other and that's where you are. But so whether or not Maga will forgive DeSantis, will Donald Trump forgive DeSantis? I know he loves to turn enemies into friends, but he's kind of tried a couple times with DeSantis and DeSantis has really almost mocked him for trying. And I don't know if President Trump, I still never heard a kind word from President Trump about Ron DeSantis since 2024. I don't know, maybe you've heard something I haven't heard. So I don't know if President Trump. I just want to get your take on sort of the psychological part of this whole game.
Bradley Devlin (Politics Editor, Daily Signal)
Yeah. Hasn't he, the president, spoken favorably about DeSantis with this whole ag shake up thing? He's like, you know, when people keep asking him if he's on the short list for Attorney General, he says, oh, no, we like Ron very much. It's not, you know, blatant disrespect. It's not Dismissal, but it's also not building up Ron DeSantis in any way.
Dr. Gina Loud
And you can't. Right. I mean, you really gotta. That's a strategic thing. He'd have to really have JD And Rubio's buy in, which would mean he'd have to have the buy in of the Trump Organization. And we have one more little factor out there that America first is not gonna sit down without their own candidate. So that's gonna be a whole issue. The who?
Bradley Devlin (Politics Editor, Daily Signal)
Yeah. So DeSantis. I think the reason that it's still cold between these two men in public is because it's kind of like delayed frustrations. I think if they. If DeSantis had gone out guns blazing in the 2024 presidential election, I think he, like, held back when he probably shouldn't have. Trump respects people who go after you hard. Right. This is the relationship trajectory that he's had with Ted Cruz. It's the relationship trajectory that he has with Marco Rubio. And I think there's still this jostling right now where the president in public is, you know, feeling out where DeSantis is these days and seeing, okay, is this someone who's really going to get after it? Can I respect him in that capacity and then can I bring him into the fold? I think for DeSantis, it's, hey, I'm going to continue to do my thing. In Florida. This rift has turned into, you know, it's kind of a turf war between Mar A Lago and the DeSantis crowd and all those other, you know, just like we talk about in Texas with the Governor Abbott crowd, the Ted Cruz crowd and John Cornyn crowd. So I think. I think he just wants to focus on his state for right now and figure out, okay, how do I build the resume? How do I build the credentials to get back into the national game? And if he can. If he can do that effectively, I think he has a chance at being some. In some capacity, serving this administration. But it's going to take. It's going to take the president's. The president's mercy, I guess.
Dr. Gina Loud
I mean, I don't think Mag is going to let him in, no matter what. That's just my own feeling. I still see so much personal resentment. It's kind of like, you know, how it's so much harder and more personal to run for mayor than it is to run for Congress, just because it's so local.
Bradley Devlin (Politics Editor, Daily Signal)
That's right.
Dr. Gina Loud
This was so local and so personal to Floridians. We still hear about it every single day. And so I just, I personally don't see it. But Bradley, you know, we could bet a stake on it or something.
Public Investing Announcer
I don't want to bet.
Bradley Devlin (Politics Editor, Daily Signal)
I'm just saying here are the possibilities. I think you're probably right, Dr. G. I think he's low chance for him, but there might be a pathway.
Dr. Gina Loud
We'll see. Well, we appreciate your thinking through this with us. It's going to heat up, there's no doubt about that. Thank you.
David Brody
Thanks, Brad.
Bradley Devlin (Politics Editor, Daily Signal)
Thank you.

I think it's just Donald Trump continuing to move through people until he finds those who will literally do whatever he says. Maybe he's found that with Mr. Blanche, maybe not. Maybe his standards will be too high, as apparently Pam Bondi's were, which is a bit of a shock.
David Brody
Just saying something.
FBI Director Kash Patel
Yeah. And so she's apparently headed for some important private sector job we haven't heard about yet. That may be Mr. Blanche's future. Or maybe not, I don't know. But Donald Trump has a bottomless desire to gain revenge against those who've criticized him. And I'm not going to stop criticizing him because I think that's that's required if you care about America. And so it will just keep going. If he gets rid of Blanche, he'll try to find someone else. Look at the bottom of every barrel, there are still apples. And so he will find someone to do what he wants to do.

Welcome back to American Sunrise. It's now time for our Moment of Faith, which is brought to us by Lee Greenwood and the God Bless the USA Bible in focus Today. One of the strangest things that Jesus ever said in Luke 16, Jesus tells a parable about a dishonest manager, a crooked steward, and at first glance, it almost sounds as if Jesus is praising corruption. That parable, by the way, has troubled readers for 2,000 years. The big question, is Jesus really commending dishonesty or is there something else going on here that most readers completely miss? Here to help us analyze all of this is Jim Moseley. He is of course, the author of Duke of D.C. the American dream, Discovering Jesus Disciples. Who they were, what they believed, and what they achieved. Jim also co wrote a book with Dr. Gina which is called the Days of Creation by teaching children how God made the world. Around here, we simply call him the Bible history guy. Jim, always good to see you. Right over there.
Jim Moseley (Bible History Guy)
Well, good morning.
David Brody
Well, listen.
Jim Moseley (Bible History Guy)
Jesus tells the story of a steward who's been wasting his master's property. And the master discovers the corruption and tells the steward he's going to lose his job. So the manager panics. He knows he's too weak for manual labor. He's too ashamed to beg. So before judgment falls, he quickly summons all his master's debtors and starts reducing what they owe. Slash one man's bill, reduce the debt of another. The stewards using the little time he has left to make friends before the system collapses around him. And then comes a shocking line. The master commends the dishonest Stewart for acting shrewdly. And that sounds just scandalous until you understand who Jesus is talking to and why he's telling this story. Luke says that tax collectors and sinners were gathering around Jesus to hear him, and the Pharisees and scribes were mad about it. Why? Because these were religious elites. They saw themselves as the guardians of holiness, the gatekeepers of righteousness. In their eyes, Jesus was contaminating himself by hanging out with people they thought were unclean. The Pharisees said, this man receives sinners and he eats with them. Well, that's the key to the parable. By saying the master commends his swindling servant, Jesus is not praising corruption. He's aiming at the Pharisees. They were acting like the managers of God's household. They controlled the temple, the sacrifices, the money. Jesus had warned them that the whole system was headed toward judgment. And within one generation, Rome would surround Jerusalem, destroy the temple and burn it to the ground. So the dishonest manager in the parable represents the religious elite. Jesus wanted them to see you're about to lose everything. That was a devastating prophecy. If the Pharisees had any wisdom, they would stop crushing God's people under religious burdens. They would start showing mercy. They would make peace before judgment fell. But they didn't. And Luke tells us why. The Pharisees who were lovers of money ridiculed Jesus. That line unlocks the whole parable. Jesus is not praising dishonesty. He's condemning religious leaders who saw disaster coming and still chose money, power, status and control over repentance. And history proved Jesus right. The temple fell, the priestly system collapsed, and the world of the Pharisees went down in flames exactly as Jesus warned.
Terrence Bates
So the focus here is religious leaders who see them as greater than thou. How do the regular folks like us apply this sort of parable to our lives? Because sometimes I'm sure we can see ourselves a little inflated as well.
Public Investing Announcer
Right.
Jim Moseley (Bible History Guy)
Well, we don't imitate the Pharisees. In other words, we don't act in ways where we place burdens upon other people, spiritual expectations that are greater than we place upon ourselves. We don't act critically, we act mercifully. We don't create strife between denominations and beliefs. We bring peace and we bring evangelism. We bring truth. We bring Christ.
Terrence Bates
Amen. All right, got a little bit of a Bible study lesson here with the Bible history guy. Jim, always good to. He's good to see you.
Jim Moseley (Bible History Guy)
Thank you for having me.
Terrence Bates

Coming up on the second hour of American Sunrise. President Trump is in Beijing, China, right now for a high stakes meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Trade and the war in Iran are expected to be among the hot button issues the two discuss. We'll have continuing coverage throughout the day here on Real America's voice. Plus, President Trump's new website, moms.gov is officially up and running, aiming to provide more access to resources for mothers and families. But many on the left are already railing against it. We'll discuss. And then later, evangelical voters are separated off on the war in Iran, urging President Trump to finish the job. And they're cautioning the president to reject a hasty deal. We'll break down the numbers for you. Those stories and so much more ahead right now on this second hour of American Sunrise.
David Brody
Good morning, America.
Dr. Gina Loud
Welcome to American Sunrise. Whether it's culture, we have breaking news to share with you.
David Brody
Part President Trump is joining us live now from Florida.
Terrence Bates
We've got you covered.
David Brody
This is what it looks like to be a patriot.
Terrence Bates
We have to protect the American family.
Dr. Gina Loud

Terrence Bates

And I'm Dr. Gina.
David Brody
Welcome back, everybody, to the second hour of American Sunrise. I'm David Brody coming to you from D.C. let's bring in Dr. G. Who is in West Palm Beach. T. Bates in our Denver newsroom. Good morning to both of you. Trump is in China. There you go.
Terrence Bates
Yes.
David Brody
Good for him.
Terrence Bates
Hey, so you just mentioned that, David, as we were watching the video about an hour ago now, there were flag boys and girls, or a group of flag bearers, if you will, who are out waving flags, waving Chinese and American flags. And as I was watching that video, it all seemed so very Communist.
David Brody
Yes.
Terrence Bates
Here in China. But when I say communist, everything was, was orchestrated. It was all like in the same motion the entire time. And I was just like, it's so sterile. Was I the only person that got that impression? And yeah, I know sometimes my mind just goes off the deep end. But that was my impression was so sterile.
Dr. Gina Loud
No, it's creepy. I mean, it's creepy. It's like to me, commies are gonna do commie. Well, you know, I mean, they've been doing this for a long time. They've got it down pat. I really like. Yeah, that fake pageantry with all the smiles and the military kind of look with the 1920s. It's just. The whole thing is just so creepy to me. I can't stand some of the oddest things. Like, I cannot stand the dmv. I literally cannot stand. I don't know if I have to drink a beer on the way there or what I have to do to get myself through, but I cannot stand because I feel that feeling of, like, going, standing in line, doing what the government tells you. There are things like that that just really. I just. I'm so repelled by it. And I feel so sorry for the people there who, you know, no freedom of faith, no freedom of religion, no freedom of speech. No. It's just. It's, you know, hiding. Hiding a Bible in a box in your backyard so you can read it sometimes. That's just crazy program robbery.
Terrence Bates
Can I just point out. No, absolutely. I'm sorry. I just want to point out the irony of Dr. Gina drinking a beer, going to the Department of Motor Vehicles. I'm sorry, Irony. That's hilarious.
Dr. Gina Loud
I don't know that I've ever done that, but I am saying, like, I have to really, like, I don't know. That's anxiety to me, the whole process of COVID But you know what? Sitting in a waiting room in a doctor's office or, God forbid, an ER where you're there for 20 hours. Right. Those kinds of things. That feeling of communism, I think it just repels real Americans who bleed super red. You know what I mean?
David Brody
Yeah. By the way, here's a good tease. Dr. G. Drinking a beer at DMV tomorrow on American Sunrise. Tune in, everybody.
Terrence Bates
The drive will be televised.
Dr. Gina Loud
I drove right into that one. Yep.
Terrence Bates
All right, guys, let's get to a couple of headlines here really quickly. President Trump's whirlwind trip to China is underway as we speak. The Commander in Chief arrived about an hour ago. He's going to be participating in a meet and greet with Chinese President Xi Jinping before heading into a bilateral meeting this evening. It's really late tonight, about 10 o' clock Eastern. Today's scheduled meetings will happen, as I said, about 10 o'. Clock. That will be around 10 in the morning there in China tomorrow, the 47th president will participate in the state banquet with President Xi. The two will also take an official friendship photo leading up to a bilateral tea there in Beijing. The Commander in Chief will wrap his trip up on Friday and return home to the United States. President Trump's pick to succeed Fed Chairman Jerome Powell is one major step closer to leading the central bank. Kevin Warsh won confirmation in the Senate on Tuesday, with Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman being being the only Democrat to vote with the Republican majority. While the vote makes Warsh a Federal Reserve governor For the next 14 years, a vote expected to happen as soon as today would install the 56 year old as Fed chairman for a four year term. Current Fed chairman Jerome Powell's term ends on Friday. And President Trump gets to keep $83 million for now after the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeal ruled on Tuesday that 47 can delay paying columnist E. Jean Carroll's defamation lawsuit award. However, the ultimate decision will likely rest with the US Supreme Court. For now, Mr. Trump will have to pay $7.4 million in a bond to cover any additional interest cost. Carroll won a verdict against the president back in 2024. That's a quick check of your headlines. Now let's get a quick check of your forecast, whether Nature meteorologist Tracey Anthony standing by with your hometown forecast. TT Good morning.
Tracy Anthony (Meteorologist)
Hey, good morning, Terrence. We are starting off in Sugarland, Texas. This hometown coming in on a rumble from baby mom of three and the Gulf coast starting to dry out. So a mix of sun and clouds here for the rest of the work week. But look at those temperatures. It's going to be in the 90s. So definitely feeling very summer like across the region. That takes us out to Baltimore, Maryland, where Kelly was wondering if they're going to get the rain. And we do have a system working through today. Could have a few isolated rumbles of thunder this afternoon. Not going to be a complete washout situation as this system gets closer to the coastal areas, but still could have some rain in the forecast, cooler temperatures tomorrow. But then look at this. Baltimore is going to be back back in the 90s by the end of the weekend. So we do have a severe weather outlook nearby for the day today. A few other spots as we go back across the Central Plains and the High Plains and then into Thursday and Friday. Another system developing over the Rockies into the Central Plains will leave our last stop in Stockton, Missouri under a severe weather threat for Thursday and Friday. So Kelly, again, again, but this is from YouTube. You're going to be dealing with a chance for some spotty showers Thursday. Friday again won't be a washout situation, but those storms that do develop could get rather strong and then temperatures warm up into the weekend and you're going to be close to 90 as well. So, Terence, that heat impacting a lot of us. And we have several spots for those strong to severe thunderstorms between now and the end of the week.
Terrence Bates
My temperatures here in Denver are going to be in the 90s. How about Washington, D.C. more importantly, Montgomery County, Maryland? Are they going to be as high as us? I know you didn't do all the research, but just say no, they're going to be below us and it'll be fine.
Tracy Anthony (Meteorologist)
Yes, they're definitely going to be in the 70s, even maybe the 60s tomorrow, so a whole lot cooler.
Terrence Bates
All right, thank you so much because that's a great transition for David Brody. David, in this particular case, Denver is greater than Montgomery County, Maryland in the Washington, D.C. area. Eat your heart out, my friend.
David Brody
Yes, well, I thought you, I thought you were looking out for me, but that's all right, T. Bates, I appreciate it. All right.
Terrence Bates
Oh, no, no, no. I was gonna gloat. Please. That was all about me being able to gloat.
David Brody
Look, Denver's liberal, Montgomery County's liberal. So we're both about the same on that for sure.
Bradley Devlin (Politics Editor, Daily Signal)
All right.
David Brody
President Trump has arrived now in Beijing as we've been reporting this morning, for a high stake summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Trade is expected to dominate the talks with both sides discussing possible agreements on agriculture, energy, AI critical minerals. But the war with Iran and tensions over Taiwan also expected to take center stage. Here's the president yesterday speaking to reporters ahead of his departure from D.C. take a look.
Dr. Gina Loud
What is your message to President Xi
Jim Moseley (Bible History Guy)
as it relates to the Iran war?
Donald Trump (Voice Clip)
Well, I think, number one, we're going to have a long talk about it. I think he's been relatively good, to be honest with you. You look at the blockade, no problem. They get a lot of their oil from that area. We've had no problem. And he's been a friend of mine. He's been somebody that we get along with. And I think you're going to see that good things are going to happen. This is going to be a very exciting trip. A lot of good things are going to happen.
David Brody
All right. Joining us now with analysis is RAV DC correspondent Neil McCabe. Neil. Well, what do you think? What do you make of what could happen? There's a lot of expectations here, but I wonder what's actually going to come of all of this.
Neil McCabe (RAV DC Correspondent)
Well, obviously the president brings to the table his sort of reliance on personal face to face relationships, something that did him in good stead when he was a New York City real estate developer having those personal relationships. And all through the first term, and now in the second term, you see this over and over again where he really believes that if he can be face to face with somebody, he can get something done. And he's going to see that with President Xi. And he's also capable of separating someone's personal relationship with somebody and their policies or their stands. And over and over again, you hear about him saying nice things about people who absolutely are blocking his agenda or trying to kneecap him or trying to impeach him, and yet he always maintains that sort of positive personal feeling for people. And we're going to see if that works with Xi or not. Xi's problem right now is that China has roughly four months of oil stored for their economy. That compares to, say, like, our petroleum, our Strategic Petroleum reserve is like 20 days. So basically, for the next four months, China can work off of its batteries, its storage, because it takes 40 million barrels of Iranian oil every month. But that's going to run out. And so, you know, we're blockading Iranian oil, but actually we're blockading Chinese oil, but also we're blockading Japan's oil, South Korea's oil, Taiwan's oil, and that's got to be resolved.
Terrence Bates
David?
Dr. Gina Loud
Yeah, Trump saw leverage, and this is the art of the deal. I mean, it really sort of comes down to that, right? He saw leverage with the choked Strait of Hormuz and the financial troubles that China is encountering, frankly, because of Trump's policies, which is great, but he developed leverage and he's taking advantage of it. And this is the art of the deal. And that's what this really comes down to, right, Neal?
Neil McCabe (RAV DC Correspondent)
Yeah, absolutely. And so, you know, another problem that China has or the Iranians have is with this blockade is that, you know, they can't store any more oil soon. So by the end of June, they're going to have to stop capping. Well, but the other side of Trump, right, he can be brutal, absolutely brutal. I'm talking about, like, hardcore military action, literally arresting the president of another country with special operations forces. And he can be tremendously generous. And so he's told the Iranians, just like he's told the Russians in regards to Ukraine, we'll lift all the sanctions, we'll be friends, everything will be fine. And I'm sure he's going to make the same offer to China, which is why they're doing these trade agreements dealing with the buying of the 500 Boeing jets, the agreement to buy agricultural goods, and sort of this, that and the other thing. But Trump, Trump will cut a deal. And Trump can be very generous. You just don't want to cross him.
Terrence Bates
Neil, I get the sense that President Trump is at the end of his rope when it comes to Iran. He has really tried his hand in earnest when it comes to diplomacy and Iran has been playing the game, but not scoring any points and really not making much movement. So what are you hearing from your sources there in D.C. relative to increased troop or even naval buildups there in Iran, potentially leading up to another offensive?
Neil McCabe (RAV DC Correspondent)
All right, first let me address the military situation. Right, USS Boxer, which has 2,000 marines. That group of three ships led by Boxer, 2,000 marines with nine landing crafts which is specifically designed to take beaches. If Boxer enters theater, they're going to go after those islands where the drones and the mosquito boats are launched. Also in the last few days, USS Alaska, which is an Ohio class Boomer submarine that's loaded with nuclear tipped Tridents, has entered the Mediterranean and that is now steaming towards theater. So that is a big deal. Now, a national security source told me yesterday that during this ceasefire we're doing battle damage assessments to basically restack reset our target list. And that's what's going on now. So when we launch, it'll be serious.
Terrence Bates
You say when we launch. So I guess the expectation is that we will launch.
Neil McCabe (RAV DC Correspondent)
Well, the American way of war is to build up in front of our enemies. And during the buildup we talk. But once all the pieces are in place, we launch.
David Brody
Okay, Neil McCabe, great to have you. Thank you.
Dr. Gina Loud
Great information.
David Brody
All right, coming up, a heated exchange on Capitol Hill. You've got to see this. FBI director Cash Patel firing back on a senator, accusing him of drinking on the job. You do not want to miss this. Back in a moment, everybody.

Welcome back to American Sunrise. It's time now to drain the swamp, and this morning we are fleshing out hypocrisy in Washington. FBI Director Kash Patel is pushing back hard against allegations about his conduct after a heated exchange with Senate Democrats during a budget hearing on Capitol Hill. Let's discuss more with David Terrence and Dr. Gina. David, want to get your thoughts? I mean, that was pretty entertaining. It almost felt like an episode of SNL or something.
Dr. Gina Loud
You're a drunk. No, you're a drunk. No, you're a drunk. No, you're a drunk. Wait, Gina Loud was drinking on the way to DMV or something? I don't know, man.
David Brody
What's going on? There's like a theme of drinking on this show. So what's happening? That went on for a couple more minutes, by the way, and it was just classic. I don't. Look, first of all, if any of this is true, obviously there's a problem. But Democrats are just trying to score points and they know that the networks are gonna pick it up and they're gonna start to create the narrative. So I don't know what's true or what's not. All I know is that that was great television, Gina. That's all I have to say.
Dr. Gina Loud
Well, I'll tell you what. Oh, Cash there, my buddy, he did a good job of masking anything that they were accusing him of. Right. By just sort of muddying up those waters. It's so funny how we're sort of learning as we're in this. I hate to use the words new age, but I'm going to because it fits in this particular context. New age of media, of social media, of psychology, of AI. And people have learned, like you can just, if you don't like what someone says about you, you could just, I guess, put out memes that speak to the contrary or speak to what your enemy is supposedly doing. We're seeing this all the time in these battles back and forth on social media between different groups of people and whatever, and confuse the American populace until they're like, nevermind, never mind. Like, that's kind of where we are.
Terrence Bates
T. Yeah. And the whole image of that hearing is the idea of Chris Van Hollen, quote, slinging margaritas down there in El Salvador. But there's a much bigger picture here. And this is what I hate about these hearings, that they're becoming soapbox. This was a hearing to fund the FBI. 12 and a half billion dollars. That's what this was supposed to be about. And unfortunately it deroded into allegations of drunkenness and slinging margaritas. Is the American people any better off as a result? I would argue no. And I hate that about these sorts of hearings these days. They've become soapboxes for both sides to kind of argue. And the real work isn't really being done.
David Brody
That's just slinging margaritas with a gang banger.
Terrence Bates
Right? Slinging margarita. That's hilarious. Great line though.

Welcome back, everyone. We appreciate you being here with us on this Monday. Oh no, it is a Wednesday morning. Maybe it's Monday. In my mind, it is a Wednesday morning. We're going to get you ready for the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange here in just a few minutes. It's set to ring at the half hour mark, so we'll take you there for that quick look at the futures. As you can see, the Dow is down, the rest of our board all in the green. Everything else is up at the moment. That likely is going to change pretty quickly once the bell rings. But again, we'll take you there live for all of that. In the meantime, let's get you over to David. David, good morning.
David Brody
Good morning, T. Bates. All right. The Trump administration is launching a new federal website. It's called moms.gov and it's designed to serve as a one stop resource hub for expecting mothers and young families. Now, the site, announced over Mother's Day weekend, includes information on prenatal care, breastfeeding, mental health, nutrition, adoption, fertility treatments, and federal support programs. The White House says the goal is to help lower costs for families and support what it calls healthy pregnancies and stronger American families. The rollout also drawing political attention with supporters praising the initiative as a pro family expansion of government resources. Critics, of course, argue the site leans too heavily towards pro life pregnancy centers. Yada, yada, yada. Joining us now with analysis is board certified physician Dr. Jared Ross. Dr. Ross, good morning. This is an important program. Seems like it's got a lot for moms and really just folks out there in general.
Dr. Jared Ross
Good morning, David. Thanks so much for having me. You know, wonderful website and, you know, couldn't be better timing to release it than on Mother's Day.
David Brody
Yeah. Tell me a little bit more about why these type of, whether it be prenatal care, some of the other situations that they're actually talking about, why these are important and why this information has to get out from a federal perspective. Because the government, you know, has a role. They believe the Trump administration has a role in keeping families healthy and safe.
Dr. Jared Ross
Absolutely. You know, we have a crisis of declining birth rates, you know, well below replacement rates to replace our current population. And that's seen most in the most educated and most affluent. Often these are women and families that have delayed having children to pursue education and to pursue careers. And these are exactly the people that are in the right spot to raise and educate a child and raise our next generation. And whether it be fertility issues and those fertility treatments being out of reach financially for them or child care issues, this website really serves as a one stop shop for, you know, not just moms and future moms, but for dads as well. You know, the great website name could have been families.gov as well. It really serves to promote families and to promote having children and really try to reverse this declining birth rate that we're having here in the US how
David Brody
much of that is such a problem, this declining birth rate? We've talked about this before. We've seen the statistics. They're not good.
Dr. Jared Ross
They're not our, you know, highest birth rates are among our, you know, lowest income, lowest educated. And, you know, those are the people that are not in the position to raise children. And it's unfortunate. I mean, they have a right to have children, but we need to work on equalizing that birth rate across the whole population and let some of our best and brightest also have children and who have the ability to raise them. And we're seeing this especially in rural America. I live here in the city of Charleston, South Carolina, but I actually commute an hour and a half out to a rural hospital. And I'm very passionate about working in these rural underserved areas, but we just don't have enough maternal care out there. You know, the hospital I work in, if you come in outside of business hours, I'm the one delivering your baby. I certainly, you know, I've delivered babies in my time in residency and a few sins. But you really want to have ob GYN doctors and nurse midwives who specialize in that out there. But in the rural setting, they're just aren't those resources. And President Trump has committed federal dollars to improving access and improving training for rural healthcare providers to provide maternal health.
David Brody
Such a great point. Dr. Jared Ross, thanks for being here with us today. Appreciate all your insight. Great stuff.
Dr. Jared Ross
Thanks so much, David.

The opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange set to ring here momentarily. Here's a quick look at our big board. As you can see, the Dow is up, the S&P 500 and the NASDAQ down at the moment. And the rest of our board looking good. The applause is actually underway there at, at the New York Stock Exchange, which means the bell was going to ring here quite literally in short order. And then we'll get an idea of how things are looking once the markets are officially open. So there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. The markets are now officially open. The Global Network, Global Medical Incorporated, excuse me at the podium, as you just saw. And here's a look again at our big board. The Dow still down, not necessarily such a great sign to start off this day of trading, but but there's still a lot of work to be done and a lot of time to get the Dow back into the green. The rest of our board, though, all looking good. The S&P 500, the NASDAQ, all in the green. Crude oil is also up, which isn't necessarily a great sign because that means that gas price is probably gonna be inflated a little bit more than most of us would like as well. But if you're investing in commodities like gold or even crude oil, hopefully that's a good sign for your investment. When there are supply constraints on commodities, prices tend to surge. And you saw it happen with fuel prices when the strait of Hormuz was blockaded. You know what else is a pretty limited commodity? Well, it would be gold that I just mentioned. They mine it out of the ground and when it's gone, it's gone. Governments by the way, can't just print more of it. And that's why everyone from central banks to savvy savers are diversifying with gold. If you've been thinking about about it for years, but you still have never moved some of your savings into physical gold, right now may be the time to do it. The Birch Gold Group is who we Trust here at RAV to help. Now through May 29th, the Birch Gold Group is giving first time gold buyers a rebate of up to $10,000 on qualifying purchases. For details and for free information on diversifying into gold, simply text the word America to the number 98 90. The birch gold Group can help you convert an existing IRA or 401k into a tax sheltered IRA and physical gold. Text America to the number 989898 and see if you qualify for a first time gold buyer rebate of up to $10,000. Again, text America to the number 98. 98. 98 today. Tracy Anthony (Meteorologist)
All right.
David Brody
I'm David Brody. Thanks for joining us this morning. By the way, we invite you to join the conversation on getter rumble YouTube. We're in the YouTube chat. You see us during the commercials. We're talking about basically everything and anything or anything and everything. Anyhow, welcome back. All right. Time now to take the political pulse of America. But here's the beat Today, a new survey highlighting strong support among American evangelical Christians for a hard line approach toward Iran as the conflict in the Middle east continues to escalate. According to a poll, about 8 in 10 evangelicals say they want President Trump to, quote, completely destroy the Iranian threat rather than pursue what they view as a premature peace deal. The survey also found strong support for Israel, obviously, and deep concern over Iran's nuclear ambitions and regional influence. The findings, of course, underscore how the war is reshaping US Politics and foreign policy debates, particularly among conservative and faith based voters who see Iran as a direct threat to both Israel and global stability. Let's talk about it with Dr. G and T. No surprise, Gina, that evangelical Christians are saying, go for it. Let's finish the job. Let's get this done and get it done the way it should be done. But my guess is those are probably mostly boomer or Gen X evangelicals. Not as much. Definitely not as much. The younger conservative evangelicals.
Dr. Gina Loud
Yeah, we're seeing this across the board. I mean, you go talk to almost anyone who is over 40 and they have one opinion. You go talk to almost anyone who's under 40. Unless they have a financial tie to one side or the other or a job that depends on them having a certain position, they're consistent in what they say. And so it's been very interesting to watch. This is really something we've never seen, at least in our lifetimes, a divide we've never seen and alliances we've never seen. Terrence. So it's I think it's going to be interesting going into the midterms. I think the midterms will shed some light on how the rest of the of the term of President Trump will go.
Terrence Bates
No, I would definitely agree with that. And my suspicion is that we're going to see sentiments change even more, particularly given some of the recent reporting that we're seeing specific to Iran's nuclear ambitions and its missile capabilities that remain. Of course, the administration has said, oh, we've eradicated all of that. You know, we've blown everything to smithereens. And now there are reports, whether you want to believe them or not, but there are reports that that's not necessarily accurate or that Iran's capabilities are still somewhat significant. And so if in fact that is the case, then I think you're going to see a lot more people saying, all right, let's just finish the job and let's really do it so that we don't have to deal with Iran again in 10, 15, 20 years.
David Brody
Here's the thing. Iran realizes something very important that Americans don't like, don't want long wars. It's just that simple. Who wants a long war? Obviously, well, guess who does?
Tracy Anthony (Meteorologist)
Iran.
David Brody
They don't care. You know, they're a war all the time in terms of whether it be with Israel and many others. The point is that this is their culture, especially over in the Middle East. But they know Americans are going to politically say no mas, and so they're just waiting out the Trump administration to fold. That's what's really happening here. Let's just be very clear. So, so, all right, I'm going to change gears. Should I do that? I'm going to do it. Republican lawmakers targeted by the Biden era Arctic Frost operation are set to hold a press conference at any moment now. By the way, Tennessee Congressman Andy Ogles posted on X earlier this week the following Nearly two years ago, Joe Biden sent FBI agents to my home and took my phone. This happened less than 24 hours after I won a contested primary and just weeks after I introduced articles of impeachment against failed border czar Kamala Harris. For those two years, legal persecution required me to stay silent as messages with constituents, fellow congressmen, and texts with President Trump were analyzed and surveilled for political purposes. POTUS has restored order to the FBI and I will soon get my property back. Wednesday, as in today, I will break my silence. Joining us now with analysis is Miami GOP committee woman and our good friend Angie Wong. Angie, I'll tell you what, this has tentacles and this is should be downright scary. Not just obviously for congressmen, but for every single American out there.
Angie Wong (Miami GOP Committee Woman)
That's right. And I was with Congressman Ogles just a few days ago. And he was telling me all about this. He just got his phone back, and he doesn't want it because who knows what they've done with it. It is so scary what Jack Smith was able to do for all those years. And he was under a very kind of special category as special counsel. So he didn't have to have the ranks and the bosses to approve a lot of these things. So he put out subpoenas everywhere. In fact, it was Chuck Grassley who said 11 members of the Senate were subpoenaed for their Verizon accounts. And a countless number of congressional members and their staff members and people that they called were also subpoenaed under AT&T. Subpoena AT&T. Their legal team put out something and says, look, we complied to these subpoenas that came from Jack Smith's office, but we had no idea whose phone numbers they were. You know whose phone numbers they were. They were members of Congress, members of the Senate, and also Kevin McCarthy. So the number then the third most powerful man in The United States, AT&T, had to give over his phone records. Not only phone records, but metadata. And that's what's really scary about all this, because. Because the phone companies had no idea what they were giving over. They had no idea who these supposedly had no idea who these accounts belong to. They were giving over geolocations of the then speaker of the House. So all of this has to be taken into account. Finally, there's sunlight. And I'm very happy to see that Congressman Andy Ogles is speaking out finally. And I hope he does say something, and I know he will say something very relevant today that's going to completely expose what the Biden DOJ has been doing for years, which is weaponizing the Department of Justice.
Terrence Bates
So, Angie, President Trump set to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping very soon. In fact. In fact, it's going to happen tonight. Our time ahead of the meeting, though, we learned that both leaders are considering a deal that would actually allow China to invest $1 trillion in the United States to build factories on American soil. Do you see this as good news or bad news for American workers?
Angie Wong (Miami GOP Committee Woman)
Yeah, I mean, that was one of the things that was floated out. $1 trillion investment on US soil for manufacturing. Is it a good thing? It depends on the details.
Jim Moseley (Bible History Guy)
Right?
Angie Wong (Miami GOP Committee Woman)
You know, it's always. It always sounds nice to say that there's a trillion dollars of investments coming to the United States, but there's a lot of pros and Cons on this. What President Trump actually wants from this deal, I believe is really the rare earth processing, which China controls over 70%, some estimates say 90% of the world's rare earth processing, materials and processing. So they control essentially the future of technology by having that. You know, I think Donald Trump is bringing the heavyweights of the American economy with him on this trip. He's saying, I'm very serious. I want to make the deal of the century with you, Xi Jinping. And whether or not Xi Jinping is going to play, that's, you know, he's got two realities here. Xi Jinping can either go back to his old friends in Iran who he would have to rebuild their entire infrastructure to play again, or Venezuela, or he can step into kind of the future with the United States, which I think would be the better bet. But, you know, that is really up to Xi Jinping and right now, no one can read him.
Dr. Gina Loud
Angie, you've been thanking New York City Mayor Kami Mamdani for driving out investors and leading them here to the Sunshine State. What kind of investments in is Florida actually seeing from this already?
Angie Wong (Miami GOP Committee Woman)
We're seeing a huge boom. So we already have Ken Griffin's. Well, his top officers are all here scouting for locations for their employees to move here. A few of them have already moved here in my district. I'm already helping with finding school placements and, you know, giving recommendations to restaurants and, you know, all the newcomer stuff that's happening. So we're seeing a massive housing boom right now here in Miami. Everyone is just trying to find their way and I think this is amazing because you're going to. We've basically had a wealth transfer from New York City into Miami all the way up to, you know, West Palm beach with all these newcomers coming in and they're all high net net worth professionals coming in. We love this because they're going to bring billions of dollars of tax, tax revenues, which is desperately needed, especially if we're going to revitalize a city like Miami. You know, we want to make this the new Wall Street South. We want to make this the golden belt for finance, technology, commerce, travel. It is just such an important growth spurt. So I'm really happy to see all of that coming in. And it's not just from New York. It's coming from also California, it's coming from Chicago. You know, we're in a very exciting spot right now here in South Florida for, for all of this economic boom.
David Brody
Angie Wong, multitasking all day long. When do you ever sleep. Thank you so much for being here.

Carefree Largo (RAV Chat Room Reporter)
Well, good morning and thank you for having us in this morning. And I've got To say the first thing off is the RAV Chat family has absolutely fallen in love with Steven Ivy Gruber first thing in the morning starting at 6:00'.
Congressman Randy Fine

Carefree Largo (RAV Chat Room Reporter)
If anyone hasn't checked that out yet, you have to. It's a fantastic show and the Chat goes wild for it every day. I think it'll be a lot of fun for you to watch them and jump in the chat too.
Jim Moseley (Bible History Guy)
Yeah, that has been a really new, exciting new addition here at rav.
Terrence Bates
Absolutely.
Carefree Largo (RAV Chat Room Reporter)
Well, I wanted to bring up, especially the Chat wanted me to bring up that Dr. Gina and the whole Sunrise team reported on the hantavirus. That's certainly been across the news everywhere, but Megapilot said something great. And I think it touched on what all of us really feel about it, which is it's another virus. At an important elect with an important election approaching. I can't talk this morning. What could possibly go wrong? And though it's a little funny, I think it's a sentiment that's on a lot of people's minds. Naboo52 in the chat said, you will not catch me on a cruise ship. And that's kind of my way of thinking. I'm certainly not going there right now. And one of our favorites, Diane Rapp, who is always in the chat. And I know you're in there right now, Diane, you said more cats and less rats. And I tend to think that that might be an easy solve to the problem right there. Motion Chat remain extremely skeptical about the hantavirus because of what they went through with COVID 19. And most people also think, Emily, that Dr. Fauci should probably be in jail.
Jim Moseley (Bible History Guy)
I would have to agree with that. Carefree.
Carefree Largo (RAV Chat Room Reporter)
It was fun watching the American Sunrise crew report on Congress person AOC saying that she had aspirations higher than that of being president. Well, I'll just let the chat speak for itself there. Our friend Flashosaurus said in New York lingo, AOC is a mooc. And I would say in New Orleans lingo Flash, we would say, you ain't never lied. She is absolutely a mooc. I can see for miles and miles said, the dumbing down of America has consequences. AOC is a prime example and no one disagree with that. In fact, there was absolutely nobody in the chat, no one that took AOC seriously. Personally, I believe that AOC should apologize to a tree every single time she inhales. I just want to make a couple of quick mentions that across all of the chats there was a huge desire for American Sunrise to find out and report more as much as you possibly can about all the declassified UFO files, Apparently there are some more that are going to be coming out very soon. And everyone in chat is extremely interested in this. And I gotta tell you, the views go both ways. Some people get into, you know, yeah, there's aliens from other places. Some people are still hardliners. No, they don't believe in aliens. But at the bottom, everybody just kind of wants to know what they really are. And I also wanted to mention, you guys remote reported on a suicide note linked to Jeffrey Epstein. Most people in the chat remain very skeptical about that note as well, mentioning that it looked nothing like Hillary Clinton's handwriting at all. So they don't think that that note is the killer at all. Don Nguyen and his wife, Donna Fiducia. Cowboy locket. They have a new number one song, Every Star, Every Stripe. And the rap chat family has gone absolutely nuts for it. They love it. If you have not heard it, you need to download it. I've downloaded it. And if you download it, you might have an opportunity to win something very, very cool. But I'll let you guys talk more about that. I've already downloaded it here now, so I get, yes, in some ways, I'm already a winner. I'd like to thank you very, very much for having us back on here again. You know, it's an absolute blast to be here and let you know what we're talking about in chat. And we appreciate it very, very much.
Jim Moseley (Bible History Guy)

All right. Welcome back to American Sunrise. I'm Dr. G or they Someone in the chat said they could call me Dr. Gangsta and I said yes, but Dr. Gangster with part time Margarita slinger? If we're gonna go there in honor of the argument that took place this week on our in our nation's capital. All right, we're so glad you are with us this morning. It's time now for the one to watch and tease. What are you keeping your eyes on besides steak?
Terrence Bates
Well, yes, steak is where my focus really is. But some of the other things that are kind of in my orbit. President Trump's trip to China. He, of course, is in Beijing right now. We reported that at the top of the hour as he arrived there. He actually has a number of America's most powerful business leaders with him there in China. Tesla and Space X CEO Elon Musk is there. Apple CEO Tim Cook, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg are among the delegation that's escorting President Trump there. In China, all of this is happening as the US Pushes for new trade deals, technology agreements, and expanded access to Chinese markets. The visit comes at a critical moment for many of these companies, which have billions of dollars tied up in China through manufacturing sales, supply chains, and AI development. Analysts say the presence of so many corporate leaders underscores just how intertwined business and geopolitics have become. And I'm specifically watching the Boeing thing because President Trump has said that China is prepared to buy a number of Boeing airplanes. That obviously is going to be a huge windfall for Boeing and a great investment in American, American products from China. So this really could turn out to be something good for American manufacturing and industry as well as from a geopolitical standpoint. David?
David Brody
Well, it's typical Trump, right? The businessman brings businessmen with him. Money talks. It's the art of the deal. This is what he does. My concern Going forward, Dr. G, is what kind of deals are we making with China? The devil's in the details. We know that China loves to buy farmland here in America. And that's been put. The kibosh has been put on that by many state governors. We know about their Confucius Institutes and colleges. What kind of deals are we doing with China? I'm concerned about it. No doubt about it.
Dr. Gina Loud
Well, guys, we are at the end of the show, so I can't comment, but I had a lot to say. I thought it was a good topic. Tea? All right, you guys, I will see you guys in about a week. I was invited. I've just got a big trip coming up. I couldn't swing with it, but I'm sending the gift.
