Today, American officials were set to begin negotiating a long term deal with Iran. But that's not happening. Just one day after the 60 day clock from the memorandum began, the first round of talks was suddenly postponed. That news came as Israel launched deadly new attacks on Lebanon. Israel was not part of the memorandum negotiations, of course, but peace in Lebanon is a key part of the document
J.D. Vance
potential deal with Tehran. The President says he wants to put this war in the rearview mirror and yet this frame remains silent. Why not allow the world to see whatever this deal is that you signed?
Unidentified Diplomatic Expert
Yeah, so there are some, frankly, diplomatic protocols that I don't fully understand. The Qataris and the Pakistanis who have been helpful in mediating this agreement with the Iranians, they've asked us not to release the full text for a little while, that it'll come out at the latest on Friday. We're actually trying to push them to get it out today because we want to tell the American people what's in this deal. It's fundamentally a good deal for the American people, but it's, it's also very simple and I've also seen some misrepresentations about it. So in short, what it does is it opens the Strait of Hormuz immediately. This is why you see oil prices down in the 70s from a high in the 120s is because you're seeing the strait already open its traffic to the flow of oil and gas. It also provides a framework whereby if the Iranians give us what we need on stopping the funding of terrorism, on no longer pursuing a nuclear weapon, then they can get some benefits be reinvited into the world economy. And when I say benefits, I'm talking about sanctions belief on their economy, what
Political Analyst
it means exactly and why many of the leaders in Tehran are celebrating while our allies in the Gulf and Israel certainly are doing just the opposite.
Foreign Policy Commentator
Well, because the actions that J.D. vance is talking about, that they have to take are pretty good actions right now from Tehran. It's ending the war and it's reopening the strait. That's the only agreement that we have. Those are the only actions that are being taken and the Iranians are being paid off as a consequence. The delay in further, the negotiations are negotiations that none of us should expect are ever going to come to fruition. But the action in negotiations going forward is principally not going to be about Washington and Tehran now that the strait is open. It's going to be about Tehran with Doha, Tehran with Riyadh, Tehran with Abu Dhabi. Those are the countries that are going to have to find a mechanism to, to engage with, to support and to pay off Iran to ensure that Iran doesn't strike them going forward as the Americans are looking to put this war in the rearview mirror as fast as possible. You heard from President Trump just two days ago that it was critical to end this war because within a few more weeks there was going to be a global catastrophe economically, given the lack of energy, of oil stockpiles, just how, how soft all of that was getting. This is not a president that has any interest in going back militarily to striking Iran. And the Iranians are very aware of that. That's why Iran is happy here and that's why the Israelis are so uncomfortable with what the Americans just signed.
Mark
So we got breaking news a moment ago. Israel and Hezbollah have now agreed to renew their ceasefire after fighting, after the fighting obviously Postponed the Iran U.S. talks in Switzerland. That's according to three officials. Given that, Mark, you think, J.D. vance, you think these meetings could be back on? This thing is fluid.
Natalie Winters
Yeah, I mean, the meetings could be back on. I'm not sure how something like this would last. I mean, you always have to take any kind of cease fire, especially in the Middle east, with a big grain of salt. And look, I think again, like I said before, I mean, I think this is JD Vance's problem and I think it's a sort of a week to week problem with him. I mean, I think it's a classic sort of outsource to the Vice President, something you don't want to deal with.
Steve Bannon
What have you learned about not just the exercise of power, but the limits on your power as a result of the conflict?
Military Expert
There are no limits, no limit. No, not. I haven't learned that lesson yet. I know there are, but you know, there are no limits. We defeated them totally militarily.
Foreign Policy Commentator
The war goals have been accomplished by President Trump. And the Iranian people, of course, are very, very aware of that so are the Israelis, so are America's Gulf allies. And that means that the unilateral decision by the United States and Israel to strike Iran has become the biggest foreign policy failure that we've seen by an American president, probably since the war in Iraq. I mean, that is the scale of just how poorly this has all turned out for the United States. I mean, Trump's mistake, but all Americans have to live with the consequences.
Mark
Well, the New York Times is reporting that there is a real fear that Pulte could now take critical information that he now has access to and somehow get it out there to be used as propaganda and feed disinformation. What is your sort of assessment of the danger with Pulte in this role? And keep in mind, he's still keeping his role with the Housing authority.
Political Analyst
Yeah, I mean, I think that's a very real risk. I mean, Bill Pulte is totally unqualified for this. In the past, he had this reputation as sort of like an Internet buffoon. He was hanging out with, like, meme stock communities. He's not a guy who's really up for this level. And I think we're seeing across the administration, there's this push. We saw Tulsi Gabbard as she was leaving, she declassified information about spoken biological labs in Ukraine that was really based on Russian propaganda. And I think the administration has this. This real push right now. They also brought in John Solomon, a very conservative reporter, into the administration to, quote, unquote, declassify information. I think often in very political ways and potentially ahead of the election, to suggest that the 2020 election was stolen so that they have an excuse to interfere in the midterms. And I think those are all possibly things that I think Bill Pulte would probably be willing to do.
Military Expert
Full military in the world by far. Who else could have done a blockade like that? I did a naval blockade where not one ship was able to get through. Some tried. They didn't. You know, it didn't last very long.
Steve Bannon
And it certainly brought Iran to the table more than before. However, beginning of conflict you had talked about, you only wanted unconditional surrender. And the MOU doesn't look like unconditional surrender.
Military Expert
Well, it really probably is unconditional surrender. It is, I think so.
Foreign Policy Commentator
First question, he won't go back in except under extreme duress. He wants to move on. He understands the economic consequences. The antecedent that we should be looking at here is China, where Trump hit the Chinese hard, expecting their weaker economy would capitulate. On Liberation Day, the Chinese hit back. They hit back, including not just tariffs, but also critical minerals. And Trump was being told by CEOs visiting him at Mar A Lago he was within weeks, within weeks of American factories being shut down, shut down in blue and red states because they weren't going to have the essential critical minerals and rare earths to maintain their industrial production. So what did Trump do? He backed down. And ever since he backed down, his engagement with the Chinese has been so much more respectful, so much more stable in the relationship. It's a complete 180 from where he was when he decided that he was going to force the Chinese to surrender to the Americans. That's exactly what just happened with Iran. And America's relationship with Iran going forward is going to change a lot because Trump has learned that their ability to hit back hard in ways that would cause unacceptable damage to Trump, the United States and his personal legacy is far greater than he had previously anticipated. The Israelis are very aware of this and they're not happy about it. Now, look, it's very clear from paragraph one of the Islamabad memorandum that Lebanon and peace in Lebanon is part of what this deal covers. But of course, the United States doesn't have jurisdiction over conflict in Lebanon. Israel is an ally of the United States. They were a much smaller partner, as President Trump has certainly been saying.
J.D. Vance
But.
Foreign Policy Commentator
But it's not as if the Israelis are going to follow everything that the Americans say. They're a sovereign country with a leader who is facing getting ousted in his own presidential elections, his own national elections coming up in October. And so if you're Israel, your willingness to continue to occupy Lebanon, the south of Lebanon, your willingness to continue to fight against Hezbollah, especially for strategic territory that matters going forward for the disposition of your citizens in the north, you're not going to listen to the Americans at all. And that means that, that in all likelihood, the further negotiations that everyone has talked about, including critically over the disposition of Iran's nuclear material, its stockpiles of enriched uranium, as well as to what extent they would be allowed to enrich going forward, it's very unlikely that we will ever see an agreement between the Trump administration and Iran on that. And of course, even at the end of the war, even during the cease fire, when Trump had given up on almost every other war goal, he was focused on that nuclear dust. He was focused on, they must never be allowed to have a nuclear weapon. It's not enough for him to just say it. They have to actually make good on it. Well, all of that is to come. None of that has been negotiated and it's extremely unlikely we'll ever get there.
Mark
But if he does another revenge tour, if that's what he's focused on here, well, can't this backfire in a huge way politically? Voters don't care about any of this nonsense or a revenge tour. They want their lives to work.
Political Analyst
I think that's right. And I mean there's also of course the obvious risk that, you know, you create terrorism risk, you create counterintelligence risk by having someone with no experience here, someone who's focused on digging up dirt against the President's enemies, maybe embarrassing people by link, leaking their foreign but you know, legal ties, something like that. I do think voters seem really uninterested and sort of alienated by these, these attempts in the past to other pulte operations like pursuing Jim Comey or Letitia James. You know, I do think it's a sideshow, but it's one that the President seems really passionate about.
Steve Bannon
Friday the 19th of June in the year of our Lord 2026. So overnight we had the Israelis hitting in Lebanon. I think four Israeli soldiers were killed by Hezbollah. Now it looks like they have a interim ceasefire. I don't know if we sent the $6 billion. We haven't sent the $6 billion. This is all, I think just, it's just drawing us in deeper and deeper and deeper. Part of it is on the Abraham Accords foundation or intellectual construct of what you do. You integrate these guys business wise and then peace will follow. I, I happen to take the view that all of these Gulf emirates are sitting on populations that are not particularly happy like the Saudis. This is why these guys have to rule with iron fist. And they have these huge intelligence states, surveillance states, they run uae, Qatar and in Saudi. So here's, here's the only solution I think works. The United States has to get back to hemispheric defense. It has to get back and focus on what's happening in this hemisphere, in the defense of this country. And of course the strategic pivot we have in the Pacific in the three island chain against the existential threat of the Chinese Communist Party. We don't do that by getting more and deeper and deeper engaged into this situation, this morass. If you look at it with clarity, the one thing we don't want to do ever is take away the financial and economic warfare structures that we put in for years that are the one things that we know make them focus. Remember they keep talking about their economy is imploding. They're losing $500 million a day. Their people are getting restless. This is what drove people into the streets back in January when Scott Besson destroyed the currency. Therefore, no sanctions should be lifted. And the architecture of, the architecture of sanctions should be lifted because the French and the British are ready to end, run us as they always do, to do business with these guys. The $6 billion, the, the, the 100 billion we have in various financial institutions, which I think we have direct access to 24 to 50 billion. A bunch of. It's over the Chinese Communist Party. We should. How about this? Sweep it and, and let's give it to the, let's give it to ourselves. Pete Hex is up yesterday with $80 billion. Hey, I need $80 billion right away to pay for this war and some other things. Now the, the bigger risk to the United States right now is not in Tehran. It's the financial cliff we're about to drive over. If this thing's cost $80 billion, the first $80 billion anywhere, either from their oil or from the money we've got in, you know, in these institutions. Get the cash, gets swept to us. Take the 6 billion that's on the pallets, take the plane and turn it around to East Pal, not to Palestine in, in Gaza. Turn it around to East Palestine in, in. In Ohio. Get the people on the tarmac and hey, put the back gate down. Run up there, fill your pockets. And with the Israelis, it's like, hey, you're a sovereign nation. We know it upsets you because it's been using this political campaign against Netanyahu ban. And calls you a vassal state. They call you protector. All these right wingers. You're a sovereign nation. They're a sovereign nation. Hey, look, we'll say the arms, you know, maybe we give you a discount. We'll sell you the arms at arm's length. You guys go do what you want to do. Jack Keane, Stop going on fox. Jack Keane. Here's her dude. Volunteer for idf. We'll get you a tank. You get in the lead column and drive up to Beirut. I don't give a damn. The American people don't give a damn. Take southern Lebanon.
Military Expert
Who cares?
Steve Bannon
Go in this march into Syria, it's on your watch. You got all these right warriors now saying we're going to burn Syria to the ground. Hey, it's not like this. No harm, no foul. Go do it. No money to the Persians. No support for the Arabs in the Arab. And the Israelis are spun off and go do what you want? Then we just come back. We got, you know, $50 billion. We can start to pay this down. No $300 billion fund. Forget it. That. That gets us more involved in making decisions. Sucks us in. No, no, no, no, no. Persians, Arabs, Israelis. Stone the Turks and the Kurds. Throw them all in. Those some Egyptians in. I guess they come to the rubric Arabs. Let them all go at it. Not our fight, not our deal. Justice.

We're actually trying to push them to get it out.
Steve Bannon
Let me thank you. Pakistan and Qatar, two beauties. Two beauts. No, I don't think we ought to be working through those guys and hiding from the American people. I think it's ridiculous. It's very simple. The new nationalism. We're coming home and focus on this economy. Have a roaring victory in the midterm elections. Yes. The Democrats are not going to win if we do our work and hold. The House Senate, I think, is gone until John Thune's removed because he's treating the president as a lame duck. Talk about that later. Also, I'll talk about CNN and Tulsi Gabbard. They're trying to out Pulte right away. He had a meeting, had a bunch of guys in there from Tulsi's group, I guess, some people. And, you know, they got six people on the byline of cnn. Pulte wants to, you know, get a private jet. Pulte wants to take the President's daily briefing and sit on his patio and Read it. Every one of them lies. But here's my recommendation on that, since nobody asked me. But this is the great thing about having a show. You just. Just go off. Everybody. So, Bill Pulte, here's a recommendation. Every person in the room that was not one of your people, terminate immediately. Maybe you put them on leave with pay to start off, but get rid of them. I don't care if they're Tulsi's best people, get rid of them. They all went to cnn, in the New York Times and leaked right away.
Military Expert
And.
Steve Bannon
And just. There's no if. They're five, all five, go. You don't have chance to say, oh, no, it wasn't me. I don't want to do an investigation. It's too worthy. Whoever was in the room, that's not your person, walk them out the door today. Walk them out the door today. Say, thank you for your service, we appreciate you, and we'll figure this out. The leaks on Pulte, and I knew this was coming. They're going to try to bleed this guy out. He walked in DNI headquarters. It is like MACV in Saigon in 1968. Okay? Your secretary and the. And the guy making the coffee, or all Viet Cong. You've walked into Viet Cong. So it's very simple. Everybody in the room that you had the meetings with, that are not your people, don't put them on leave with paid leave. Terminate them. Let the federal government, union or whatever come back. Terminate them. Terminate all of them. Every one of them. Not a couple. Don't let somebody come to your office and lay their head on the table and cry, oh, I'm for you. I support you. I support the President. Terminate them. Send a message you're not going to be messed with. And you heard what they said right there. Oh, they're afraid Pulte is going to get his hands on. What do they always go back to? He's going to get propaganda. The fruit the 2020 election was stolen and use it in the midterm line. You damn right we're going for that. You damn right. And that's why you're so panicked. So be all the panicked you want. Bill Pulte's in and he's. He and Solomon are going to get their hands on it, and you're going to have to live with it. The American people are going to see the receipts. Gonna see the receipts. Oh, they're going to interfere with the 2020. You guys are. You steal. If you can't steal, you can't win. Look at la Spencer Pratt right in front of everybody's face. Oh, put a pin in it. Socialist, democratic, socialist one in Washington, D.C. so we have the financial and cultural capital of the world under Marx's jihadist rule. We now have the imperial capital in Washington. You got Chicago, basically Minneapolis, basically Los Angeles, basically San Francisco, basically. I think you'll see shortly see Houston and other people. Is anybody taking note at home? Our issues are not in Tehran. Our issues are inside the wire here in a place called the United States of America that we now have Marxist jihadists in power. Trita, you know, and I know you've been, you know, trying to present the best case and. But like the $6 billion for humanitarian. I'll be blunt. I don't care about the humanitarian or the Persians. You guys overthrew the Shah and kicked the United States out 47 years ago. The one time you got riled up was in January when we started destroying the economy. My whole point is to keep. Destroy the economy. Not one penny in humanitarian, because the mullahs and the irc, the Revolutionary Guard, take it all. We didn't send immediate humanitarian cash over to Japan after we firebombed Tokyo. We didn't send it over to Germany after we firebombed Dresden. You know, people, those two unconditionally surrendered. The Persians have not unconditionally surrendered. In fact, they're not close to unconditionally surrendering, sir.
Trita Parsi
So they were never going to surrender. I think that's one of the key differences. But here's, I think where part of the premise of what you're saying is not correct, Steve, because you're treating it as if it is aid to the Iranians, meaning that this is American money that the US Is then giving.
Steve Bannon
No, it's your money. It's your money. It's your.
Military Expert
No, no.
Trita Parsi
It's similar to.
Steve Bannon
Stop, stop. It's Persian money. It's Iran's money. Hey, it's in banks and we're sweeping it. It's cost us. He's up on Capitol Hill with the $70 billion tab yesterday saying, I need more money. No, the money's coming from the Persians. It was your money. We control it and we're going to sweep it. Yes. Is that fair? I don't know. Maybe it is or maybe not. Take us to the international court. We'll figure out in 10 years. No, this is war. We've got the sanctions in place. We have a battle group outside that can shut anything down. We tell them, hey, go do with hormones of what you want? The first ships coming through are Saudi ships with oil to go to the ccp. Have the Saudis, have Qatar, have the uae. They're all big talkers, right? Stop. Drop everybody on the payroll you got in the United States, Qatar. Stop the big parties at the UAE embassy with the playboy that runs it. Get your princelings back over there, get to work. You open Hormuz, work with the pirates down there on the Oman side and the. In the Persian side, and you'll figure it out. But we keep the sanctions in place, we keep the carrier battle group in place, and we sweep all your cash. It is your cash. I don't make it. But we're going to take it. We're going to take it and we're
Trita Parsi
going to pay down.
Steve Bannon
And by the way, we're going to give. We're going to give the American fighting men and women a bonus for being over there, sir.
Military Expert
All right.
Trita Parsi
Well, if they weren't there in the first place, none of this would have happened. So all of the anger I see coming from you is ultimately because of a dumb decision to go into a war, okay, that should never have been started. So the fundamentals, Fundamental premise of what you're saying, Steve, that we shouldn't be involved in all of these things, I agree with you fully, but you're contradicting yourself because when you're saying, hey, we should keep sanctions on and everything else that is getting involved, look, the pattern has been very, very clear. The United States has a conflict, imposes sanctions on a country, and then over time, the sanctions end up becoming a step that constantly escalates the conflict and eventually leads to military action. We are now on the cusp of doing that with Cuba as well. We did that with Iran. It doesn't have to.
Steve Bannon
It doesn't have to.
Trita Parsi
It doesn't have to. I agree with you, but that is the pattern that we have seen.
Steve Bannon
This is the.
Trita Parsi
So if you keep the sanctions on. Yeah, but hold on. If you keep the sanctions on, you're actually not going to get the nuclear concessions from the Iranians. You're not going to resolve the problem as long as the problem is not resolved.
Steve Bannon
You're not saying the other part of my plan that you agree with, that we spend the Israelis off. And, hey, you're a sovereign nation. You're no longer. You hate when I use the term vassal state. You hate when we use protectorate. You're not a vassal state. You're not a protectorate. We're not going to merge the industrial bases. We're not going to merge the intelligence. You buy retail with a discount. But if Jack Keane wants to get in the tank and drive to Tehran, if it let the. Let the IDF and the commandos and all that deal with the nuclear issue, President Trump bombed it into total and complete obliteration. My commander in chief told me that a thousand times. Okay, I assume that at least 20 or 30 years in the Israelis and you guys will get it on. Look, you hate each other. I got that. It's kind of a human thing. Wars of annihilation are like that. That's what we got to step out. We just got to keep the sanctions architecture. We got to keep a carrier battle group out there, because it's got to be somewhere. Let's just keep it in the North Arabian Sea. We take your money, your cash, we sweep it to ourselves and Bob's run. And by the way, tell the Arabs, if you want to figure it out, you figure it out. We're out. We're home. And you guys deal with it.
Trita Parsi
All right, so first off, I agree with the fact that the United States should get out of the region. This is not the United States's fight. It is unnecessarily getting it embedded and entangled in all of these different conflicts for no good reason. This one was the latest and probably the worst example of getting entangled in the war. Had nothing to do with the United States.
Steve Bannon
Check.
Trita Parsi
I agree totally with that.
Steve Bannon
The nuclear part. Okay. But that I agree with trying to get rid of that obliterator. Okay, Keep.
Jake Seawolf
Keep going.
Trita Parsi
Listen. Listen to what your commander in chief said about the sanctions. This is really important because this is not about charity, Steve. The world is trading in dollars. Still. About 73% of all global trade is taking place. Sorry, sorry. It's down to 59%. And that's actually very important. It's down to 59% of global trade is taking place in dollars. It used to be 73% back 20 years or so ago. You know why it's gone down so much and that is weakening the dollar. It's because of the overuse of sanctions, because we have then under the Obama administration in particular.
Steve Bannon
That's such a small part. The reason. Okay, hold on, but let me finish. Hang on. I understand. That's a part of it. And the BRICS nations have tried to say we can't have the Americans deal anything. But the principal reason is the massive deficits we're running and the decrease in the purchasing power of the dollar. That's why the central banks of the world are Making a smart decision. I'm going to have more gold assets than dollar denominated U.S. treasury securities. We say this all the time on the show. That's a huge difference. You know what hurts? That Pete Hegg says walking up to Capitol Hill and go, I need $70 billion for excursion into Iran and can I have it tomorrow? I got a solution for that. We're going to take your money. We're going to take your money and pay for it. I realize it's not my money in Iran and I hope, and I hope the people and hope the people figure it out by overthrowing the mullahs. You finish, sir?
Jake Seawolf
Go ahead.
Trita Parsi
Okay. So, so, so, so look what happened with the Russians. They invaded Ukraine. Within five days, the United States under Biden started freezing their assets. Okay. And then there was this conversation in Europe about doing exactly what you're talking about, take their money. The risk with that, because it's pure piracy, is that people, all other countries are will stop trading in the dollar. I'm not saying that the other thing that you're saying is not true.
Political Analyst
Yeah.
Trita Parsi
I'm just saying this will add to it is compound compounding it because it's not safe trading in the dollars because Steve Bannon may go on a show and say, hey, let's take this country money. And then we end up doing it. And then suddenly you'll see everyone is trading in the Chinese currency instead.
Steve Bannon
So I mean, look, this is what we bomb. Only people. Only people we bomb and we run up a $70 billion tap, treat a stick around Russia. Russia invaded Ukraine, by the way. We were against, we were 100% against the Europeans doing that, freezing the Russian people people's assets. But we were not directly involved in that war. This one, we got a 70 billion dollar tab. I guess you could say we got a 350 billion tab in Ukraine. I guess you could argue that on the margin. But this one, we got a real need. Sorry. We're taking the cash, the $6 billion on a pallet, turn it around to East Palestine. Short break. Treat a parsing on the other side.
Natalie Winters
War room.
Jack Armstrong
Here's your host, Stephen K. Ban.
Steve Bannon
Okay, Trito, the plan simple. Israel's own independent country can its own independent strategy. If that's fighting in Lebanon, taking Beirut, all that the United States doesn't take off any of the economic or financial warfare, doesn't give any money. Start sweeping cash. The Arabs and the Persians either fight it out or figure it out. I'm sure you guys, you're an ancient civilization. You Guys will figure, the Persians will figure something out. And Jack Keane will get him a three star promotion into the IDF today, like MacArthur was at the Philippine army. Jack Keane goes to the IDF as a four star general. Give him a tank, let him lead a tank column up to Beirut or to Damascus, or he can go to Tehran. You pick it, Jack. General King, we love you. You pick it for the idf. Now, Trita, that gets the United States out of the region. That's what all the players have always wanted. What's your problem? You're the voice of reason. What's your problem with that, sir?
Trita Parsi
It doesn't get the US out of the region because if you don't lift the sanctions, the Iranians won't give up elements of their nuclear program. Giving these nuclear concessions that Trump is looking for, and he's really looking for it. He wants them to have a moratorium of enrichment. He wants them to ship out the HEU. They still have 400 kilos of 60% enriched uranium that could be, I think would reach about five or six dirty bombs at this point. So you don't resolve that problem. And if you don't resolve that problem, the U.S. is going to get sucked back into it if you implement the deal. And we don't know what the final details will be, Steve, because the negotiations have not started in terms of exactly seeing what concessions the Iranians will give for what sanctions relief the US Will offer. But if we don't do it, then we're not resolved and we're going to get sucked back. If we do manage to get this done, that is the ticket out of the Middle east because that then will resolve the nuclear issue, will get rid of these different sanctions. And by the way, Trump is going to lift primary sanctions. Steve, Steve, Steve, we're not. No one is going to give the Iranians 300 billion. Look, if the primary sanctions are lifted, that means that the Iranian market is going to be open up to American companies. That's the biggest market that has opened up for American companies since the fall of the Soviet Union. That could have a huge boom for the manufacturing industry in the United States. That's part of the reason why Trump is actually interested in this, because he sees that that will be a major selling point to the American people.
Steve Bannon
We'll take a pass. The American people don't give a damn about selling anything to Persia. We got biggest markets all over the world. Listen, the only way we're talking about
Trita Parsi
a country, $90 million. This is not

trading.
Steve Bannon
And I'm sure and I'm sure the Europeans and others will be all over it and God bless them. It's just we've got. If we're going to get out, let's get out. And I mean that gets out of Saudi Arabia, get the military base out of uae, Qatar. Give them back. Give them back the plane. Give them back the plane. All of it. Yes, sir.
Trita Parsi
I think you're over correcting here, Steve, because there's a difference between getting out of the Middle east militarily, which I agree 100% with. Should never have done this on board to begin with. Never have set up all of these bases, all of this aid of Israel, all of it. Wrong. We should get out of that. But that's different from saying you shouldn't trade with these countries or have relations, etc. I think that's maybe that would be the type of isolationism that very few people are actually.
Steve Bannon
Maybe after you keep the sanctions on the sanction architecture, the Persian people will eventually overthrow the theocratic Islamic regime that does all this nuclear stuff. It'll happen. It'll take, you know, maybe a decade. But we've destroyed the nuclear program. That can't be of any danger for a year. And plus we're unreaching. First of all, the Israelis are going to be all over that in a second. They want to do it now. We're holding it back. Say go for it, baby. We're not part of it. Go. You'll be in a dog fight with the Israelis every freaking day. Which is great.
Trita Parsi
Israelis cannot do any of that stuff without active American support. If they start it, they start it because they want to suck the US into it. Because they cannot handle that with all the missiles coming in from Iran. The US spent more interceptors defending Israel than Israel spent interceptors defending Israel during this war. They can't do any of this without active support. So if you have that type of warfare, the US is going to get sucked back into it. But look, if you lift these different sanctions, etcetera, they manage to get out of the conflict here. If you manage to get out of the conflict over there. And you mentioned, for instance, that the sanctions would eventually overthrow the Iranian government. The sanctions have been on Cuba for five, six decades. Five, six decades of sanctions on Cuba and the Castro family still run 88 countries.
Steve Bannon
It may take five or six decades. I'm cool with that.
Trita Parsi
Well, it's already been five decades. If you lift the sanctions, I don't care if you lift the sanctions, it will take five to 10 years. If you lift the sanctions and the economy is actually going forward in Iran. And you're going to see the Iranian society and the freedom fighters, they're being in a much stronger position against this
Steve Bannon
to take that bet. I would never take that bet. Never.
Trita Parsi
Well, we've taken your bet for the last five decades and look where we are.
Steve Bannon
Not my bet, bro. I was over in 79. I said at the time, I said at the time. I said at the time. This thing is like the surface of the moon. We got to get out of here. Trita, you're amazing. And what I love most is that the Israel first crowd heads blow up every time I have you on, sir. Trita, where do people go? You're putting up great content all the time on this. You're the voice of riches. Where do people go?
Trita Parsi
They should go to substack my substack@tree. Parsi.substack.com, go to Twitter tparsi or go to the Quincy Institute's website, which is quincyinst.org Trita, thank you so much.
Steve Bannon
Appreciate you.
Trita Parsi
Thanks so much for having me. Appreciate it. Thank you.
Steve Bannon
I'm now, I'm now obsessed by this sanctions architecture. Sanctions, yes. Trina brings a point. We talk about it all the time. We talk about it in Russia, right? When they, when they, they tried to monetize the Russian people's assets. Hey, here it's a little different. We've got at least a 70 billion dollar tab as of now. Pete goes up to Capitol Hill yesterday. The big thing, he's got a meeting there. Needs $70 billion. $70 billion. That's not already included in our 1 trillion or the 1 2.2 trillion that just got kind of passed. The 1.2 trillion is not covered there either. This is a, this is a side pocket. This is what they call a supplemental. President Trump first got there in 17. We realized they had like a, I don't know, a 40 or $50 billion supplemental every year. They had in a side pocket account for the, for Afghanistan. This is how they roll. We don't have $70 billion. A bigger issue about us and the BRICS nations. Part of it is the swift system. That's everything that does all the transactions, allows us to monitor it and to basically step in and stop it and seize assets. Right? That's a, that's a big part and that is definitely a part. And one of the reasons the BRICS nations say we got to get off this, because the Americans can seize our assets anytime. But the bigger issue, issue, the far bigger issue this is what Jeffrey Tucker had him on last week, the 50% devaluation because of the massive spending, the drop in the purchasing power of the dollar is directly tied to this massive spending in these deficits that have to be financed. And how do they have to be financed? You got to sell government securities. And the world is saying, now I'd rather buy gold right, at higher rates than U.S. treasury securities, even if you jack the interest rates up. Because they see the increasing decline, the purchasing power of the dollar. I just think we have to cut bait. The Israelis are a sovereign nation. They should stand on their own. We can sell them weapons. If it, if it works to work at some alliance like in NATO, then take it to the, you know, it's two thirds got to pass. That alliance would have to pass in the Senate because we don't have. They're not an ally right now. We have no alliance with them. Like they say, Ukraine's an ally, Ukraine's not an ally. Israel's technically not an ally. They want to do an alliance, work it up and take and see. If you get 2/3 vote, I will tell you, you'll never get 2/3 vote for that, but let Israel. This is why if they want to take southern Lebanon, if they want to fight Hezbollah, and Hezbollah killed four of their soldiers the other day, if they want to march to Beirut, they can march to Beirut. We got nothing to do with it. We'll sell you weapons, sell your arms. And this is why this thing with the NDAA of merging the industrial bases is terrible. The MoU runs out. No more MoU. No more MoU, no more emerging the industrial base. No more merging the intelligence apparatus. You're an independent sovereign nation and you make decisions as an independent sovereign nation, what's best for you and your citizens. I dig that. And if that happens to be fighting it out, you know, as Grant did all this summer along this line when he drove to Richmond, if that takes you fighting it out in Lebanon, if that takes you fighting out in Syria, if that takes you fighting it out in Tehran and in, in Persia, go for it. Okay, that we've already worked out the basic structure of Qatar. You know, a really a, a two state solution in Gaza, the, the outline of it, although it doesn't look like it may go forward because they're saying, Netanyahu saying he will never allow, they'll never allow Turkey in their security role. But then as an independent nation, you figured out we're out, we're out. I just think the Abraham Accords, which Sounds very, very smart. And it is. But it talked. The underpinnings is what you're seeing here. These overall economic deals really put together with countries that are not that stable. Qatar is not that stable. UAE ain't that stable. You're finding that in Dubai right now. The real estate prices are dropping like rocks in Dubai. All the influencers and bikinis are all off the beach. Saudi Arabia's got 23 million people. They got, it's, it's a, it's a surveillance state. They're more afraid of their population than they're afraid of the Persians. That's who you're dealing, that's who you're trying to deal with. All this interconnecting, the business elites there and the political leads, yeah, sure they want this, but do they really govern their own nations? This economic integration with us just gets us tied in more and more and more. And we're energy independent now. We're energy independent. If they love the CCP and the Russians so much, then deal with them. You've got long term output deals. The Persians got long term output deals with the ccp. So the Saudis, if you love the way that CCP rolls, then have at it and see. See how it's worked out in Pakistan. Ask the guys in sub Saharan Africa, Ask the people in South Asia how it's worked out. How the reverse East India company model in reverse has worked out. The predatory capitalism the elite captured. Ask those countries how he worked out for them. Every one of them will tell you it's horrible. And we hate the Chinese Communist party. Okay, America, take the end. Look, they say, oh, it's our money. Well, it was your money until we had to run up the tab to stop these radical nuclear programs and other programs. You had to try to foist chaos on the world. Hey, we got to get paid back. We're tired of paying for all. We're going to get paid back. And we got that money. It's $50 billion right there in those banks. Sweep it, sweep it. It's the start. You're going to have to make a clear cut here.
Military Expert
And boom.
Steve Bannon
This is the way you do it. Do I have my patriots is Jacob Jake. Since my plan may call for some readiness and some common sense, my patron supply brother, what do you got for us today? This is preparewithbandon.com I'm obsessed by this site because I love it. I love my Patriot Supply. It's the new. It's the common sense of the 21st century. Used to be people that Prepped or prepared were considered, you know, to have tinfoil hats and wing nuts. They turned out over time. They were right. Everybody mocked and was wrong. And so now we have prepare with Bandit. We got a minute here. I'm gonna hold you through the break. What do you got for us today, sir?
Jake Seawolf
Yeah, absolutely. Glad to be back on. So we had a lot of phone calls about the screw worm. And what the screw worm is, is that it's a flesh eating livestock parasite. Sounds scary. We wiped it out in the 1960s and we had it all the way back towards the Panama Canal. Looks like it's starting to break its way back to the U.S. what does that mean for you? Does not mean you're eating a bad steak. Does not mean that your beef is going to come weird or anything like that. Go through inspection, be safe. The only thing that we're really worried about is that it is killing off some cows. It is going to increase the beef supply or not. Increased beef supply. Increased beef supply prices. Correction on that. So we are looking at up to a 15 increase over the next few months. So right now is the time to be purchasing beef and what do you guys have any questions about the screw worm or anything? Because as far as we're we've been tracking for a couple months.
Steve Bannon
You've scared. You've scared the hell of me. Tell me. We got 30 seconds. Tell me about the beef. I'm holding through. What's the pitch on the beef?
Jake Seawolf
The beef you're gonna have to go see for yourself. So as always, we always have good deals ON Prepare with Bannon.com. i recommend calling in so we can talk about a little more if you guys are interested. But lock it now. Don't pay the extra 15 increase.
Steve Bannon
What's the. What's the calling number?
Jake Seawolf
It is 866-229-0927. So you don't have your computer. Just call us directly.
Steve Bannon
Yeah, hang on one second. We'll hold Jake Seawolf through the break. Short commercial break. Back in the warm in just a moment. We rejoice when there's no more. Let's take down the ccp.
Jack Armstrong
Here's your home host Stephen K. Ban.
Steve Bannon
Okay, the end of the dollar empire. If you want to know about what treated and I were talking about and I really ad Look, I like all the guests we have. I love Rabbi Waliki and Rabbi Wlicky actually agrees with my plan. Time to Israel stand on its own. No mou all of it because they're going crazy inside Israel now. The right Wing accusing people of certain things, they got to figure that out. We don't need any involvement. That's for them to figure out. But you know Sam Faddis and you know Karen Sigmund and Frank Gaffney and Captain Fennell, Trita Parsley, Kurt Mills, we. I think we're the only show that shows you both spectrums. But this plan, there's only a. The only solution is just cut it off now. Keep all the architecture around the financial and economic war that we can do at a distance, Trita. And then we're out. No redevelopment, no nothing. If the Israelis want to end, by the way, the total obliteration, the president put on the nuke, makes sure it ain't a problem for a long time, and let the Israelis figure it out. They got smart Special Forces. They got smart people, tough people. And listen, it's a war of attrition. The Persians hate the Israelis, who hate the Arabs, who hate the Persians. It's circular. Let's throw some Kurds in there, let's throw a few Turks in there. Mix it up, you got what they've been fighting over for 3,000, 4,000 years. Read the Old Testament, you'll see it's chock full of the wars of the Middle east. And it ain't going to change because you got ancient vendettas. We're out. And let's take the money on the way out and.
Jake Seawolf
Hey,
Steve Bannon
Pentagon. Pete. 70 billion. Minus 50 billion, 20 billion. You know, maybe we'll do something else. Maybe we'll take some of the oil coming out. How about that President Trump? You talked about that a lot in the Iraq situation. Let's just take it as it's coming out. Those that carry a strike group, right there. Jake Seawolf, one more time. This thing in Texas, you're right, it's concerning, but this is why common sense means you got to prepare all the time. What's the special? Prepare with Bannon. And we're going to. We're redoing the site. It's gonna have a lot more information, but preparewithbannon.com is where you go right now. What's the special you got for us for Father's Day, sir?
Jake Seawolf
For sure. For the three month kit. We've got a hundred dollars off for you guys and the phone number is 866-229-0927. Give us a call because obviously I. I don't know why I have to say this, but War Room Posse. You guys are the best. We love hearing from you and flood our phones so we have an excuse to kind of slow down the other people because we'd rather talk to you. Let's be honest,
Steve Bannon
Jake. You have a good father's day weekend, sir. Appreciate you always.
Jake Seawolf
You too, sir.
Trita Parsi
Thank you.
Steve Bannon
Jake seawolf, another member of the stock company of the war room. Okay, in the next hour, Natalie's gonna pick up and she's got the. The show's explosive at cornwell is going to jump into that because a lot happened with maloney over in Italy, as we told you would happen. That's happening. Natalie's gonna be back at 5. I'm doing. I'm here tomorrow at 10 to noon, but I'm doing my traditional u. S. Open viewing. In fact, mo campon is coming here. We'll spend father's day weekend together. But I will be doing the 10 o' clock show tomorrow. Natalie's at 11, Natalie's back at 5, Ben's at 6. Don't miss a tons of action. A president's going up. Been announced. President's going up to camp David. You know, the president is not. He's not a camp david kind of guy. You can tell. I think he used it once or twice in the first term. I think this may be his first time up. The second term, maybe they used it last summer. Normally they do that to kind of get away and think things through. So I think there's some going to be some big great thoughts this weekend. I like mine, which is don't continue to get involved with these people. Don't give them something. We don't want to wake up everybody. Nobody cares. I don't care. Waking up every day. And what Israel said about Lebanon and what. What some guy in some moolah ayatollah I don't give a damn about is saying about this. By the way, Trita is a zoroastrian, right? If you study ancient. If you study the problems that Rome had conquering the persians and they did, part of it was that the religion was a underpinning of persian civilization and culture. Now, the persians didn't do such a great job when they came to Greece, but maybe we'll do a Persian Roman. I told you the first thing. When we go into the first day in the first term, you're doing kind of a change. You're making sure you know where everybody is. Because, you know, general Flynn is a bridge. You make sure you know everywhere everything's deployed. So the cap, the president, the commander in chief is fully up to date on his presidential daily briefing. And at that time, I think we had, you know, in the serious situation, we had, you know, one of these proxy armies on the payroll of some government agency. I won't say this, three letters. That is outside of Palmyra. And of course, the, the Hezbollah, whatever proxy army they got is on the other side. It's like 2500 years or 3000 years. It's probably the exact same place where a Roman, where Roman legions and centurions were there with the Persian army on the side. And I said, hey, it ain't changed in 2500 years. So, you know, maybe one of the things we do is just turn it over to those folks and let them fight it out if they need to fight it out all summer. As Grant told President Lincoln in the wilderness campaign. So Natalie's going to take it up for here. Want to thank our sponsors, Mike Lindell. Tomorrow. The show is already packed. We're going to take more of this. We're also going to take the situation with Pulte. You see what they're panicked about. Can we pick it up before I turn it over to Natalie? CNN does a story this morning. It has, I think, seven people on the byline now. The story is not super long now. Why do you have seven people on the byline? Because CNN is going in for a kill on Pulte and they all want part of it. It's like a pack of, it's like a pack of hyenas. It's a. Look at this, a pack of hyenas. You see this bylines? They're hyenas. They're hyenas. They're coming after Bill Pulte. Bill Pulte has his first meeting. It's all leaked out. So Bill from the war room, just a recommendation, get your guy to walk into everyone in the offices. Everybody was in that room. That's not your person. That did not come with you. And you say, you're fired, you're fired, you're fired, you're fired. And if I need to, I'm start a criminal investigation and sweep your phones up and see who talked to CNN in the New York Times. Fight fire with fire. They want to be cute, they want to leak, they want to make up stories about. You want a government plane and you want to take the President's daily briefing and sit out on your, your patio this weekend by the pool and kind of flip through it. You know, they're bald face lies. You know what they told the cnn. So get rid of them. You got work to do. You got a lot of work to do because you're in the belly of the deep state and they hate it. The only recommendation, get a food taster. Don't, don't. Don't be reaching for the pastries when they bring it in. Okay. If they bring in some plate of sandwiches today, have an assistant eat it first. Natalie Winters, the Natalie G. Winters picks it up from here. She'll be back at 5. I'll be on duty tomorrow morning from 10 to noon. And we're gonna have a packed, packed, packed show. Natalie Winters picks up. I will take off. I'll see you tomorrow morning. I'll be up on social media all day. Thing, Natalie, Natasha Owens takes it. What about when you took your shot and the one you call? Where is the song for justice?
Natalie Winters
Where is.

Episode Title: NO MORE US BLOOD & TREASURE FOR ENDLESS WARS, IRAN DEAL BETRAYS ISRAEL | WAR ROOM AM WITH STEVE BANNON
Date: June 19, 2026
Host: Steve Bannon
Notable Guests/Contributors: J.D. Vance, Trita Parsi, Natalie Winters, Military/Foreign Policy Experts, Political Analysts
Main Theme:
The episode centers on US policy in the Middle East—specifically the recent US-Iran deal, Israel’s response, and broader debates over American military and financial involvement "in endless wars.” Steve Bannon and guests argue for a full US strategic pullout from the region, insist on maintaining economic pressure via sanctions, oppose relief for Iran, and urge Israel to “stand on its own.” The discussion is critical of current and past administrations, especially regarding secrecy around the Iran memorandum, and explores the global and domestic implications of these choices.
“We defeated them totally militarily... The war goals have been accomplished by President Trump... The unilateral decision by the United States and Israel to strike Iran has become the biggest foreign policy failure… since the war in Iraq.” – Foreign Policy Commentator (04:28, 04:48)
“The only solution is just cut it off now. Keep all the architecture around the financial and economic war that we can do at a distance.” – Steve Bannon (42:13)
“I agree with the fact that the United States should get out of the region. This is not the United States' fight.” – Trita Parsi (24:46)
“If you keep the sanctions on, you're actually not going to get the nuclear concessions from the Iranians... The pattern has been very clear.” – Trita Parsi (23:28)
“It may take five or six decades. I'm cool with that.” – Steve Bannon, on waiting out Iran with sanctions (32:59)
The episode carries a combative and urgent tone, with Bannon fiercely critical of American involvement in the Middle East, government secrecy, and internal administration leaks. There is a strong emphasis on US self-interest, skepticism toward multilateral diplomacy, and distrust of elite, globalist, or technocratic solutions. Contrasting voices (notably Trita Parsi) engage directly with Bannon, providing points of view that challenge automatic escalation or "maximum pressure" approaches, making for animated exchanges.
This War Room episode with Steve Bannon offers an intensive, unsparing critique of continuing US involvement in Middle East conflicts, especially the recent Iran deal’s opacity and perceived concessions. Bannon and his guests call on the US to end “endless wars,” maintain hard economic pressure through sanctions and asset seizures, and let regional players handle their own conflicts—particularly urging Israel to operate without assuming US military, financial, or strategic backing. There are deep worries expressed about the long-term consequences for the US dollar and voter alienation from elites’ foreign policy maneuvering. Through sharp debate with figures like Trita Parsi, the episode highlights how the cycle of sanctions and intervention risks perpetuating both foreign entanglements and erosion of US global standing.
For those seeking a direct, critical, and confrontational debate over America’s role in the Middle East, the limits of global engagement, and the domestic fallout from endless wars, this episode offers both the main arguments and the ideological battle lines.
