Alex Stein
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, welcome to after hours with Alex Stein, right here on Real America's Voice. Now, I. I gotta talk about my favorite congressman. Is he a congressman? Yes, I think he's a congressman. Or is he senator? I don't even know. What is Lindsey Graham in my ear? Is he a senator or congressman? Okay, he's a senator. I don't even know. But he is my favorite guy. He's from the great state of South Carolina, and I just love him so much because, you know, I like elected politicians that care more about foreign countries in America. I think that is the best characteristic when it comes to voting for a politician is it doesn't matter if they like your state. What's most important is that they like a foreign country the size of New Jersey that's in the Middle East. So this guy is going super viral. And I love this clip because, you know, it's just showing his true colors. Now I want to play it. This is him on. I guess he's on Fox News, which is a propaganda network. And he says something that, you know is, I think we should all get behind as American citizens. Let's play it.
Kristen Davis
Boyle number two, are you telling us
Alex Stein
you want the United Arab Emirates and the Saudis to lash out and strike Iran right now?
Lindsey Graham
I want them to get in the fight. You know, we sell them weapons. Iran is striking their country. They have good capability about the Strait of Hormoons. What if the regime fell? Then you never had anybody in Iran in the future that wants to close the strait. What if you had Iran with people who don't want to build a nuclear weapon to kill us all? What if you had Iran in the future that doesn't support Hezbollah, Hamas and the Houthis? That's where we're headed. Donald J. Trump is going to bring this terrorist regime down. We're going to have partners in Iran, and we're going to open up a gateway to peace. This won't fix itself. Every other president has talked about doing it. President Trump is in the process of doing.
Alex Stein
Now that I can get behind. I love a guy that's going to preemptively strike a country that could potentially get us. But this is what I'm really kind of, you know, I guess, playing with, in my mind. So right now, we're currently in a war with Iran and they haven't bombed America yet. Yes, they've hit some of our foreign bases that are in foreign countries, but they don't have the ability to bomb us right here in America. So if they can't bomb us while we're in a war with them, why would we be worried about them bombing us some other time? I'm just really confused on why that is. But I guess, you know, these people, that's why they get elected into office, because they know a lot better than me. But I want to play this other clip now. This is actually SOT number five. This one is really good. Let's play SOT number five. And this is him urging all of the South Carolinians that are so great to send their sons and daughters to go fight in this war, which I think is their duty as an American citizen to go die for a foreign country. Let's play it.
Lindsey Graham
I go back to South Carolina, I'm asking them to send their sons and daughters over to the Mid East.
Alex Stein
Well, we kind of cut off the end of it. But let me just tell you something. What he said was he wants to send South Carolinians to go die for foreign country. So I love that because like I said, it's so important that we go and we send our young children to go and defend foreign countries, because those are the ones that need it the most. Everything's fine here in America. I mean, we got McDonald's, you know, we don't have health care. I know we don't have health care, but we got $1.5 trillion to give to our military Industrial complex. But who needs health care? I mean, it's not like people get sick. And really and truly, if you look at Iran, what's going on there, I don't even think the citizens, you know, I think they like it. You know, that's the whole reason that we started this war is because we wanted to liberate all the people that were frustrated. So Lindsey Graham's a true American patriot. I just want to say how much I love him. We're so thankful to have him as a senator. I know he's running for election right now, I think in South Carolina. And so if the people do not vote for him and he loses somehow, which would be devastating to the military industrial complex, I'm leaving. I'm going to self deport because I love Lindsey Graham so much. He is the greatest senator in the history of American politics. And I'm so thankful that he has our back. Or I mean, not our back, but foreign countries back, because those are the backs that we got to protect, not our own. That's unnecessary. I mean, you know, the other day I'm at the gas station and, you know, illegal immigrant almost stabbed me. Luckily I was able to defend myself because I had my gun. And you know what? He's not worried about kicking these illegal immigrants out of the country. They can stay. What's most important is that we go to their country and defend them over there. It's not important to defend us here. I think that's, you know, very, very, very good characteristic of our politicians. So, Lindsey Graham, you are the best. I really wish you so much success in your upcoming election. Anybody that doesn't vote for him is not maga. Remember that being MAGA is the most important thing that you can do as an American citizen. And if you don't support Lindsey Graham, then you're an anti American traitor. I just want to make that very clear. So we love you, Lindsey. I know that there are some rumors that you're a homosexual. I don't know if that's true. You are like 70 years old. You don't have any kids. You've never been married. That's a red flag. But I don't have kids. So what? Maybe I'm gay too. I guess. I guess we're all gay. We're gay for Lindsey Graham. You know what? I'm admitting it. I'm gay for Lindsey Graham. And that's the most admirable thing you can really do as an American patriot is be gay for our politicians. I think that is such an important, really Attribute that everybody should have. Attribute. Excuse me. But now I really want to also talk about this war. Now it's come. Basically, it's kind of been revealed, even though the administration hasn't admitted it yet, that we were accidentally responsible for bombing a school with about 150 children in it. And, you know, I really would feel bad, but you have to remember these are Muslim kids, you know, so what are they going to do? Learn how to read and then build a bomb and then in 20 years blow us up with it? So I really think that's another good thing. I know that a lot of people are getting mad. New York Times, a liberal media outlet, they're trying to come after MAGA for accidentally bombing a school. Listen, if you want to make an omelette, you have to crack a few eggs. That's how it works. That's just how you make breakfast, folks. And we all love breakfast. Lindsey Graham, breakfast and dick. But, you know, that's cool. That's cool because we're gay for Lindsey Graham. So I just love him so much. He really is the best senator ever. I love this war. I hope it doesn't stop. I really hope it doesn't stop. I hope we bomb a few more schools. I really hope we do because they're going to grow up and potentially come and bomb us in the future. So we need to preemptively blow up as many schools as possible. As a matter of fact, I would like it if we kind of focused on the schools because that's where all the young people are. Yeah, they're not really responsible for, you know, any of our, you know, problems here in America, but potentially in the future they might be. It's like my favorite movie, Minority Report. We should start arresting and killing people for future crimes that they may commit.
Brandon Weickert
Yes.
Alex Stein
They haven't committed one yet. Yes, Iran doesn't have a bomb that can reach the United States. Yes, they don't have nuclear weapons yet. But they could. They could. And that's why we gotta nip it in the bud now before they have the ability to do so. So I really love Lindsey Graham. Sending all of our young South Carolinians to go and fight for a foreign country that really probably doesn't even care about us. But who cares? We care about them. You know, sometimes you got to drive down a one way street. I know there's two way streets and that exists where you both help each other out. But you know what? I like a one way street. There's less traffic. Think about that. And that's why they call me, you know, one way primetime Stein. Because I just like to go one way. I don't like to go both ways. I know Lindsey Graham probably goes both ways, but that's neither here nor there. We love that it's okay to be gay. I'm very pro gay. I'm a Dallas Cowboys fan, so everybody knows that I have a lot of gay pride. So just at the end of the day, anybody online that is trying to bully Lindsey Graham or affect his future election, stop it. Stop it right now. This is so important for our country future that we make sure that nothing happens to Lindsey Graham because he is an American hero that cares about other countries more than us. But that, like I said a hundred times, is the best character trait that you can have as a politician here in America. And I also want to say Lindsey Graham, maybe, potentially, if you could maybe have gay sex with Kimani's son, that is how you could help our country as well. Because in their culture, they don't like homosexuality. You know, they don't like that. That's not gonna fly. And so if you could maybe seduce him with your charming voice and your masculine hair, you still have a full head of hair. That's a great characteristic. A lot of people don't even have hair. A lot of younger people than him are bald. So he's obviously a chad. Gay chad, but that's cool. Allegedly. So I love you, Lindsey Graham. You are an American hero now. A guy that I also consider an American hero. Charlie Kirk. He had some not so nice things to say about Lindsey Graham. I don't even want to play the clips. And I think Charlie was right about basically every single thing that he ever said. But him criticizing Lindsey Graham as a warmonger, it's just not true. It's just not true. Just because Lindsey Graham likes to blow up a few schools, he's helping us stay safe here in America. So I miss you, Charlie. Six months since your horrible assassination. I wish you could be here. You could probably help us a lot more than anybody that's currently here right now. So we're. We miss you, Charlie. I can't believe it's been six months. It's went by like that. It just blows my mind how fast time is flying by, But I guess it's just life. You know, One day you're here, the next day you're gone. And that's why we got to have a little more gratitude, because we're all stressing out about bills. We're stressing out about our dating lives, our wives, our kids, when really the most important thing is to send our kids to go fight in a foreign war. And I also want to give a shout out to Kevin Melendez, a local kid, 19 years old from Grapevine, Texas, right here. He sadly perished in Kuwait from this horrible, horrible, I mean, I mean, great war. Excuse me. I don't know why I said horrible. And I know he's probably not gonna be the last 19 year old that dies for our country. And even though, you know, he was sent there probably against his will, he's still an American hero and a true patriot. Not as big a patriot as Lindsey Graham, though. Not as big as Lindsey Graham. Let's never forget that. All right folks, we got a great guest. We're about to argue with him this whole episode. Apparently he's very anti war and doesn't like it and he wrote a book about space. So you know, I'm going to love the guy. His name is Brandon Weickert. Coming up after the break, you don't want to miss it.

Davis from Are youe a Charlotte Podcast. I just had the most epic girls day cruising around LA with my friend Heather Graham and thanks to Hyundai we even recorded a special episode for you. Yes, I have a good 90s story of Fred Siegel.
Alex Stein
What?
Kristen Davis
I saw Alanis Morissette there one time.
Brandon Weickert
It was so exciting.
Kristen Davis
I was with my girlfriend Melanie.
Brandon Weickert
She saw you, so that's like, good.
Kristen Davis
She was very, it was like the height of Alanis time and she was with this beautiful man. And I had a golden retriever puppy and the beautiful man wanted to say hi to the golden retriever puppy. We were eating at that little cafe there at the Santa Monica one, and, and Alanis hung back in a way that made me wonder what was happening. Like, who wouldn't want to pet this beautiful puppy?
Alex Stein
I was like, oh, my God, it's Alanis.
Kristen Davis
And then I was like, try to breathe, try to breathe, try to breathe because I love her so much. My new episode is out now, presented by the all new Hyundai Palisade hybrid. Make every day epic.

for healing, learn more, and sign the pledge@workingwithcancerpledge.com. Foreign welcome back, folks, to After HOURS with Alex Stein, right here on Real America's Voice. You know, our next guest, he is not only a renowned geopolitical strategist, he's also an author. He's written a great book called Winning Space in the Shadow War. But he's getting a lot of kickback because some of his commentary lately has not been very pro war. And I just want to say, as a guy that loves to bomb schools, personally, I really, I just, I don't really agree with this guy very much, but I want to bring him on the show. Let's welcome on the one, the only, Brandon Weiker. Brandon, how you doing, my friend?
Brandon Weickert
Oh, I'm, I'm good. I'm still, you know, still waiting to be reprogrammed into being pro school bombings, but not quite there yet.
Alex Stein
Well, you know, I think that the biggest, you know, sign that they're guilty is that they won't say that it wasn't an American bomb yet. And I know that they've shown pictures now. And allegedly, you know, it's hard to believe what's on the Internet and what's not, but allegedly, the bomb that blew up the school was made in Dayton, Ohio. So do you think that the Trump administration, you know, how long can they, I guess, not admit to it because they haven't said that they have done it, but they haven't said that they haven't done it. How long can they put up the
Brandon Weickert
charade that well, it's war? So I mean, they could lie as long as they want and I'm sure they will because there is no upside to admitting this thing. You know, it's fun, it's not funny, but it's interesting. The day that happened, I got a text from somebody that I used to know once upon a time who works in the Pentagon. And they said that wasn't us, that was the Israelis. And I was like, that's a little weird. Why are you automatically saying that wasn't. Oh, it's because it's a school. That must be true that it was a school. And you guys want to blame shift the Israelis, which is the whole reason we're in this war is partly because of the Israelis. But no, I do believe that. I believe it is probably us. I believe that it was based on AI basically. I think the targeting analysts at the DoD at CIA were phoning it in and I think they basically relied on Claude or chat GPT to do data aggregation on data that was five years old. And at one time, yes, that facility that was blown up was used by the irgc and guess what, that was five years ago. And they handed it off to the school. And before anybody attributes nefariousness, I can just tell you right now, I have a friend today who was born in a hospital in Ohio that was once part of the Marine barracks there and now is part of the civilian life. That's just happens with military, you know, around the world. They sell their gear, they sell their buildings, sometimes they end up as a school, but that's up to us if we're going to go blowing up the place to know what's a school and what's not. And it sounds like we didn't really take the time, we didn't take care and that's on us.
Alex Stein
Or, or the real, the real truth is, I mean, Israel's bombed a lot of schools in Gaza. So maybe that's part of the strategy because there could have been bombs in that school. I think that they knew it was a school, but that's where they're hiding the bombs. So, you know, I think that was a really great political move. So I actually encourage our military to keep bombing schools because that's probably where they're hiding all of their military.
Brandon Weickert
Well, certainly an inauspicious beginning. It's certainly a bad beginning to what is clearly a very poorly planned, even more dangerously executed mission. So, okay, you know, and we're in it for the long haul, by the way. I know, you know, Pollyanna Pete is out there talking about, you know, hey, this is great, we're doing fine. I don't see that at all. I think this is, this is a black mark on the US Honor and the prestige of America. And I think we're bleeding in the field right now. Maybe not literally, hopefully not, but certainly in terms of our stock piles. And this wasn't needed, this was not a dire necessity to go into this war at the time we did.
Alex Stein
No. And really and truly, what actually makes me sick, and I don't know if this is a conspiracy, I don't know if you've covered this yet, but they've only announced that there's been eight casualties. Now, they've said there's been 150 soldiers that have been wounded. But, but listen to this. They announced the four white people that died. Kevin Melendez, sore fly, I forget his last name, who's a black guy and a local 19 year old Hispanic kid from Grapevine, Texas, right down the street from where I'm at right now. They didn't announce the names of the ethnic people that died. Is there any truth that they're trying to, I guess, hide the fact that a few ethnic people have died, but they'll just tell us the white people died, like it's no problem?
Brandon Weickert
Honestly, I have no idea about that. That's that, who knows? But I just want to make it clear, and I say this with a very heavy heart, it is very clear the administration is not being upfront with us. And I understand the need for operational security, I get that, I really do. But the fact of the matter is they are lying about everything. And it has just been one lie after another. And it's becoming now catastrophic for US Foreign policy and for the families of these young men and women who have been killed. It is a tragedy of epic proportions and it was totally unnecessary. The whole thing is unnecessary. And that's why I'm calling for President Trump to, for the love of God, end this war today. End it now. You will be able to recover from this. The country will recover if we stop this. But it just feels like we're locked in and we're going to keep going, even if it means drafting people, apparently, which I used to think was a joke, but now the White House spokesperson is saying this and nobody from the White House is walking it back. You know, now there's fears somebody's going to cack off a nuke. Uh, and I think it might be the Israelis, because they're getting slammed very hard. The war is not going well, and it's a war we initiated, and therefore, it's a war we can end and should end now. The president can declare victory. He got Kamani. He got some really bad guys in the irgc. That's a win. Let's go home now. Let's end this now, because this thing keeps escalating. It's going to be maga, and it's going to be the rest of people in America who are paying this for the next 30 years.
Alex Stein
Well, I got to give you a little more kickback. And Kurt Mills had a great Tweet. It took 20 years to replace the Taliban with the Taliban, but it only took nine days to replace Kamani with Kamani. So at least we're moving faster. An improvement.
Brandon Weickert
Yeah, we're. We're. We're failing at the speed of light. So, you know, this is. This is good for us, I guess, America, you know, f. Yeah. Um, but it's. It is very unfortunate that I did not believe in everything that I've seen. I never believed it would be Donald Trump doing this. I never did. I never believed he would actually jump off the cliff like this. But then again, he did jump off the cliff during COVID so perhaps there's some pattern here that we just haven't been paying close enough attention to.
Alex Stein
And, you know, it's funny, a lot of people might not know this, but a lot of the vaccines were actually made in Israel. So, you know, Asia actually likes the pandemic.
Brandon Weickert
Yeah. Netanyahu has the first vaccine he received on his desk in a memorial form. So, you know, there's. There's a weird thing going on here. And, I mean, the depopulation shot, I mean, the vaccines are safe and effective.
Alex Stein
Safe and effective.
Brandon Weickert
Just like bombing that school. Just like bombing. Totally safe and effective. Yeah.
Alex Stein
Well, Brandon, Brandon, can you have a little empathy for Trump? Because, you know, Netanyahu gave him a golden pager, and I would take that as a threat personally, because considering they had one of the, you know, biggest military operations with these pagers. Yeah, maybe. Is he worried about that golden pager blowing up? Could that be a reason that we're actually.
Brandon Weickert
It might have been a signal. No, I think that in all seriousness, I think Trump is very closely aligned with Mr. Netanyahu. And I think that, as happens with political alliances, sometimes they become blurry. And, you know, Israel If I'm in Israel, I don't want the Iranian regime to exist. That is my national interest. But if I'm in the United States, not necessarily that I like the Iranian regime, but is it the most pressing threat to the American people right now? I would argue no. And I would argue that we could have contained and deterred that threat nearly indefinitely had we relied upon the Abraham Accords that Trump brilliantly built in his first term. And so when you say, do I have empathy? I kind of have empathy in the sense I'm utterly bewildered because Trump showed us the off ramp in term one, it's the Abraham Accords. And now we've gone in reverse, shredded the Abraham records Accords rather, and let Netanyahu drive this ship right off the waterfall. And we're now all like Thelma and Luis going off the cliff together, and Netanyahu and Trump are holding hands, yelling, let's keep going. And this is, this is not what we voted for. So I do have empathy for Trump in the sense that he needs to kind of pull back a little bit and recognize Israeli interests. Yes, they're our ally, but their interests are not exactly synonymous, always with ours. And we're seeing that play out here.
Alex Stein
Well, how does America actually pull back, not even necessarily an off ramp, and end it, but how do we kind of, I guess, calm things down without looking weak? Because, you know, I would say that the people in Tel Aviv that are getting hit with bombs right now are probably not too excited that this war is currently still going on.
Brandon Weickert
Oh, you know, it's funny because I, I live around a lot of, you know, a lot of Jewish Americans, and, and we're all very conservative down here. And I've yet to hear one person in my circle say, gosh, this is a great thing for Israel. They're all like, well, we're glad Iran is getting hit. They're bad. But the one guy I was talking to who's a very big, rich donor down here to the Republican Party, his response was basically like, gosh, I really hope they know what they're doing. That's, that's not a rigging doors meant that, you know, for a war, a major war, that you want to hear from somebody who's really vested in the outcome, like this gentleman is. And so my, my whole point here is that, you know, there is no off ramp. That's pretty. At this point. Now, it's interesting. Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, often last, I think last night or two nights ago, called up Trump and said, I have A lot of pool with the Iranians. I'm willing to, to, you know, help you get out of this, this mess, Mr. President, that you've put yourself in in exchange. There's apparently, you know. Well, apparently there's quite a lot of demands in exchange, though. And I think at this point, if Trump doesn't take Putin up on the offer, I think we are going to be in, locked into a quagmire. It will destroy Trump's presidency, it will destroy maga. We, we will hand the country over to the Democrats, to Newsom and Spanberger, who I think will be the ticket in 2028. And I think that this is pretty much the last chance. This war could potentially completely annihilate the America first and MAGA movement.
Alex Stein
Well, you know, I like big booty Latinas, so the fact that you mentioned aoc, who's definitely going to be the vice president, you know, I'm a little offended. But I will say this. Iran, they say, is the biggest sponsor, state sponsor of terror, yet we fund the Azov Battalion, which are literal Nazis in the Ukraine that are fighting a proxy war with Russia. So seems kind of, I guess, hypocritical. Could you say that?
Brandon Weickert
Yeah, I mean, there's no doubt Iran does fund. They Hezbollah, Hamas, you know, and they fund all the, the rogues gallery. But, like, you know, look, we do it too. The Israelis do it, the British do. The British are notorious for it. The Chinese do it when they need to. The Russians certainly do it. So I think what we need to do is, is say what, What Iran does with terrorism is wrong. Obviously, we don't like that because it's usually directed against us or our partners. But hey, we're not angels either. So maybe stop with the morality play, which is foe at best. It's a faux morality play. And let's talk about brass tacks here. Let's talk about ends, ways and means. Let's talk about how we both can win. Let's talk about an off ramp where both sides can maybe walk away from this thing. The problem is, as you note, you know, we've killed the leader under the ruse of negotiations. We've killed the leader of Iran. Whether you like him or not, he was the leader. We killed his little grandkids in the bunker. The leader now is his son. And I'm sure his son is not too pleased about his nieces and, you know, his father being killed under the guise or the ruse of negotiations. Alex. So, you know, how. How are we going to negotiate with these people? I don't think we can. That's why I think Trump's only options here are one of two things. Either he does the right thing and gets Putin on board and just, you know, eat some crow to get this thing over with, or he keeps doubling down and we are in World War 3 and either there's American boots on the ground and our daughters are fighting it because I believe the women are now qualified for a draft, or we're talking about Kakanoff nukes because I don't believe the Israelis are just going to let this thing lie because they've been hit so badly.
Alex Stein
Well, guys, you know, you're hearing it here from a geopolitical strategist who is an expert in this. But coming up next, we're going to talk to Brandon about my favorite senator, Lindsey Graham. You don't want to miss it.

It was so exciting.
Kristen Davis
I was with my girlfriend Melanie.
Brandon Weickert
She saw you so that's like good.
Kristen Davis
She was very it was like the height of Alanis time and she was with this beautiful man and I had a Golden retriever puppy. And the beautiful man wanted to say hi to the golden retriever puppy. We were eating at that little cafe there at the Santa Monica one. And Alanis hung back in a way that made me wonder what was happening. Like, who wouldn't want to pet this beautiful puppy?
Alex Stein
I was like, oh, my God, it's Alanis.
Kristen Davis
And then I was like, try to breathe, try to breathe, try to breathe because I love her so much. My new episode is out now presented by the all new Hyundai Palisade hybrid. Make every day epic.

When I was diagnosed, all I wanted to do was get back to work. I wanted to get back to that trajectory that I was on prior to the cancer. I always felt like I had value. I had a place on the team. To just be treated with dignity, it means everything.
Brandon Weickert
Research shows there is a significant connection between the ability to continue to work and cancer recovery. We can make work a better place
Alex Stein
for healing, learn more, and sign the pledge@workingwithcancerpledge.com. Thank you so much, guys for watching After Hours with Alex Stein. Now I gotta play this clip from my favorite senator from the great state of South Carolina. Basically just, you know, talking about this war. That's so great.
Lindsey Graham
Let's play it to all the anti Semites, to all the isolationists. I don't forget it. I'm not with you. I'm with Israel. I will be with Israel to our dying day. They're the best ally we could hope for. So we have a commander in chief and President Trump who I think is Ronald Reagan. Plus plus plus
Alex Stein
so Brandon, I gotta ask you, are you an anti Semite? Are you an anti Semite?
Brandon Weickert
No, I am not. Nor am I an anti Semite. I'm just an American first, always and forever. And I have no ill will toward my Jewish neighbors or my Jewish friends or the Jewish people. This isn't about that. This is about cold, hard, pragmatic national interests. And Lady Lindsay knows that. But, you know, Lady Lindsay is sitting around waxing in eloquent about this war, a war that she has no connection to. And Lady Lindsay is also the one who is telling President Trump to invade Karg island, which I broke when I wrote for the national interest last year. This was his idea. He probably divined it when he was shining Netanyahu shoes last year. But Cargill island is the hardened oil refinery island of Iran off the coast. It is probably one of the most important parts of Iran's economy. Trump is talking about sending ground forces. This is an insane postulation. It will be absolutely disastrous for the United States military. It is a hardened island. It is a major oil producing part. And even though we don't get oil from the, the Iranian economy, attacking an oil facility like that will just spike the price more by adding volatility into the market. But, you know, I think Lindsay is, is attracted to the phallic nature of the missiles. So perhaps that's why he likes it.
Alex Stein
He definitely likes his shape, for sure. Now, I gotta ask you this. You know, Steve Bannon, a guy I like, a guy that, you know, you go on a show, do you think, yeah, he's a buddy error. You know, I think this was his biggest error, and I forget who I was watching talk about it, is that there was actually a little bit of a divide between Bannon and Jared Kushner. And I think Trump admitted that Kushner was one of the guys that basically, you know, convinced him to start this war. Do you think that was maybe one of the biggest errors Trump has made by not siding with Bannon and siding with his son in law?
Brandon Weickert
Well, I think that Bannon should have been the Chief of staff in the first term. I don't think it should have been Reince Priebus. I've said this to Bannon before, and that's not me just, you know, waxing, you know, trying to make him feel good. But I think that Bannon played a key role in focusing the energy of Trump. Trump is a very energetic guy, he's got great ideas, but he had a team around him in 2016. Even Kellyanne Conway, who I've been critical of in years since, but Kellyanne, Rebecca Mercer, Steve Bannon, I think these people were instrumental at the moment they came into Trump's orbit in taking that incredible ball of energy that is Trump with all of these dynamic ideas and really prioritizing a handful of things like immigration, like, you know, tariffs, things like that. These were ideas Trump had. But what, what Bannon did was discipline the system. And, you know, they made fun of him, calling him an enabler in the first term. But personally, I think that, that Trump needed that kind of enabler who was also going to keep him on point. Because the minute they got rid of Bannon, the minute they got rid of Mike Flynn, the whole thing went off the rails in the first term. And you had impeachment gate, you had Russia gate, you had all of these things and then you had the stealing of the election. It is my contention that had Bannon been given greater authority in the first year or two of the first year of the first term of the presidency under Trump, we would be in a very different position now. So I do think it was a mistake. And Steve did not ask me to say this. I haven't talked to him about this really. But these are thoughts that I've had for many years. And I think that the problem is, is that Trump did not side with actual MAGA and actual America First. He keeps siding with his son in law who is a globalist.
Alex Stein
Yeah, I agree with you 100%. And I guess what really frustrates me about Trump is that I still like Trump. I don't really think he's as bad a guy as some people on the left will say. I don't think Trump is perfect either. I don't think Trump is just some perfect person. No one is perfect. But will his legacy be forever tarnished from this? Or do you think that he can save his legacy by, you know, I guess, somehow coming out of this, you know, looking halfway decent?
Brandon Weickert
Yeah. So your point initially I agree with, to a point. But on this issue, like with COVID in the first term, he's crapped the bed so royally, it is very hard for him to pull out of this now. Unlike Covid, which happened at the end of his first term, which means there were certain calculations he had to take into account for reelection. He doesn't have to do that now. This crisis, self made, is happening relatively early in his presidency. He still has both houses of Congress, he still has a sizable portion of the Republican Party. If he, if he goes and takes this, this, this offer by Putin to negotiate, yes, it comes with downside risks, but there's no good options here anymore. Guess what? If you can work with Putin on ending the Iran war and then converting that into hey now, let' Ukraine war, he could come out, Trump could come out as possibly the great man of peace. Right now. He's a man of war. He wants to be a man of peace. This is how you do it. You turn into the crisis that you may have created it. But Mr. President, if you are listening, turn into this crisis now. Take the licks in the, in the beginning. Eat some crow in the beginning. But over time, we will build a better relationship with the Russians, which will allow for us to navigate the twin crises now of Iran plus Ukraine. And Trump might come out on top at that point. But as it stands, if he keeps with the current plan, which I fear he is, he is on track for a quagmire. He is on track to be basically worse than Herbert Hoover. There will not be a Republican president after him for the next 50 years. I don't believe.
Alex Stein
You know, I hope he does that. And I think that is a way that he can save his legacy by ending the Ukraine war and this war at the same time, even though he started one of those wars are, in a way, you know, if he did that, I think that that would fix his legacy. Now, it's a twofer, you said. But you said something very interesting earlier. You're worried about a nuke, but according to, you know, I guess open source material, Israel doesn't have a nuclear program. Right. I mean, so how would they drop a nuclear bomb?
Brandon Weickert
Yeah, you're right. You're right.
Alex Stein
There is no.
Brandon Weickert
There are no nukes. And the vaccines are safe and effective. Totally. And, you know, there's also the chance that, you know, if things keep falling apart, you know, Trump might himself go up the escalation ladder very radically. I think that's a very low possibility. But, you know.
Alex Stein
Yeah. Brandon, do you really think that's a. Well, I had to cut you off because you only have so much time. Do you really think that it is a possibility that Trump would drop a nuke? I don't think that he would go that far. I really hope not think that.
Brandon Weickert
I mean, a year ago I would have.
Alex Stein
Where would he drop it? On Tehran. Would he drop it on Tehran?
Brandon Weickert
I mean, yeah, A year ago I would have said no way. But look at what's going on the last three weeks. Weeks, two weeks, you know, so, I mean, we're in uncharted water here, which is why I beg the President, work with Putin. It's going to be tough in the beginning, but we can maybe turn this into a long term victory the way Nixon turned Vietnam into an opening with the rest of Asia. We lost Vietnam, but we won Asia at the end of the day because we flipped it. We flipped it.
Alex Stein
Well, okay, so we've talked enough about the war. I got to talk about a subject that I love. Space. Now, tell me a little bit about your book, Winning Space. You know, we only have a few minutes, but are you obsessed with space as well?
Brandon Weickert
So when I worked on the Hill, they used to call me the space cadet because I somehow fell into the niche, even though I have no scientific background educationally, I fell into the niche of national security, space policy. And I kept working on that throughout my time out of Congress. When I became a consultant. What is it? The Golden Dome is, I think, one of Trump's biggest initiatives that he should be focusing on. Way more. And basically my argument is you, in order to make America great again and to put America first, you need to have what's known as space dominance. Our satellites are vulnerable to attack. Those satellites are key for everything. This was why Trump was a visionary in his first term, creating Space Force as an independent branch of the armed forces. Now we got to build off of it with space dominance as the key. Please, Mr. President, do golden Dome. Do it smartly. Get Elon involved. Let's build a real dominant position in space and let's get back to the moon. That's the basis of my book. Essentially. Those are the advocacy points in my book.
Alex Stein
Well, they say Artemis is supposed to go to the moon, but they keep on.
Brandon Weickert
Artemis will never make it. Artemis.
Alex Stein
Exactly. They're never going to go. So it's got to be good. I think we agree on that. So I'm happy because, you know, NASA, I went to the Johnson Space Center. It looks more like Disneyland than it does like a scientific center to me. So.
Brandon Weickert
But I do like. I do like the new NASA director, Isaac Man. He's solid and I think he's going to get this right. I really have faith in him.
Alex Stein
Yeah, well, I hope so. But I think also, isn't China dominating us in space right now?
Brandon Weickert
Or they are. They are neck and neck. Well, technically, on paper, you may. They would say that we are the top dog. But China has a lot of momentum and they're coming up from behind and they have a comprehensive space strategy. You know, the head of China's lunar program said the moon, that the universe is an ocean and the moon is the South China Sea. That should tell you what the Chinese want to do with the moon. They want to annex it because they annex the South China Sea. So that's what we're up against. And the Chinese are really close to accomplishing their mission, whereas we are still diddling around here, dithering, rather dithering around here on Earth with the. The Artemis program, which is going nowhere fast.
Alex Stein
Well, Brandon, you know, a lot of people are going to be triggered by some of the things that we said.
Brandon Weickert
So I don't care.
Alex Stein
How do we identify? I know, but I mean, I do care a little bit. How do we win the hearts of all these people that voted for Trump because he was anti war and then are now pro war? And I guess I'm kind of like you. I don't care. But at the same time, I don't want people to hate me because I'm staying true to what I thought. What I voted for, you know, anti war, and those are the guys that are being, you know, flip floppers, I guess. How do we get them on board? Or will it just be time like Covid?
Brandon Weickert
It's.
Alex Stein
It's time.
Brandon Weickert
But if I. If I have to be the villain here, I will be the arch villain, and I will be the guy to. To make Trump hopefully see the light and do the right thing. I never need the credit for it. I don't care. But let's just get a deal now with Putin and let's turn this into a victory. Let's be the man of peace that Trump said he wanted to be. That'll get him the Nobel Prize. That will get him the Nobel Prize if he can work with Putin on Iran, plus Ukraine. I mean, that's. That's dynamite right there, man. And of course, the guy who created Dynamite is Nobel. Created no Nobel Prize. So there you go.
Alex Stein
Oh, I like that. Okay, so, Brandon, before you go, I know you just passed 40,000 followers on X. Tell the people where they can find you and how they can support you.
Brandon Weickert
So you can find me at we the Brandon. I also am the NAT set guy at Emerald TV, and I'm a senior editor, national security editor at 1945.com. Get my books on Amazon. There's four best sellers with your name on it. Go for it.
Alex Stein
Well, thank you, Brandon. I really appreciate you making time. And I. I learned a lot. And I think we're going to solve. I think we just solved Trump's presidency. I think the war in Ukraine, and then he stops the war in Iran. Even though he started it, he stops it and he's still here. Thank you, Brandon. It's all the better. I agree with you. Have a good one.
Brandon Weickert
You, too.
Alex Stein
All right, guys, coming up next, we got more war talk. I know I'm sick and tired of it, but we also have some viral videos that you don't want to miss. Thank you so much for spending your Tuesday evening with us here on Real America's Voice, watching After Hours with Alex Stein. And I know it's late, if you're having trouble and you're tired, you're sleepy. You know what I do? I just crack open a nice can of this soldier fuel, and this stuff gets me going. And, you know, I'll be honest, it also kind of gets me a little frisky. I don't know if that's part of it, but maybe that's just me because I'm a freak. But I love this soldier fuel. I drink about 12 of these a day. 5 calories, 0 sugar. Listen. I mean, just listen to the. You can hear the. I mean, that is refreshing. That is refreshing. So go to Amazon.com and please buy some of this right now. That's a direct order. Now, we got to talk about all of this drama that's currently happening with these guys that are bombing people in New York City. Jake Lang, it kind of came out that he was sexting a minor, which I definitely think is disgusting. But I think Jake Lang's a little mentally ill. I think that's pretty obvious. But I don't like that there's terrorists going to his protests and throwing nail bombs. And that's what's happening. And that's what I think is a side effect of this war in Iran. It's only going to radicalize people to do more terror attacks right here in America. So let's play this clip of this guy throwing this bomb. It's actually really, really scary. I mean, just the way he throws it, it's smoking while this other guy is talking on the microphone. It's pretty insane. Let's play it. And we want everyone here to stay in New York.
Brandon Weickert
You don't get to come from outside and then tell everyone,
Alex Stein
Well, thank God that that bomb did not blow up. I mean, that is a perfect example of what potentially could happen right here on American soil, because Iran doesn't have bombs that can reach us. So what they're going to do is they're going to probably radicalize people to come here and attack us in a very subversive manner by going to these protests. Whether it's anti war, pro war, pro Islam, anti Islam, it doesn't matter. They're going to find groups of people that are vulnerable and they're going to try to bomb and kill us. So that's what I'm worried about. Honestly. I'm not too worried about what happens thousands of miles away, but I am worried about what happened to New York City, a city that I love, a city that I travel to. And this is a serious, serious thing that the media is basically just kind of, you know, hand waving it like it's no big deal. Even New York Times, or I think it was cnn, made a tweet saying, you know, they're basically austere scholars just trying to have some fun at a protest. So this is a serious thing, whether you like Jake Lang or not. That's really what they. That's not important. That doesn't matter. What does matter is that there's going to be more people that are radicalized. And it was just about 20 years ago, it was the biggest deal that they tried to build a mosque, or. Excuse me, they did build a mosque next to the site of the terror attack on 9 11. So if that was a big deal back then, and now we got guys are just throwing bombs like it's no big deal. And we're having the lame stream media act like it's no big deal. We're probably in for a wild ride. And I hope that I'm wrong. I hope things cool down. But to me, it seems like things are just rapidly accelerating at a pace that a lot of us probably are not too happy about. So if you're in New York City, be very careful. There's probably all kinds of sleeper cells that are being activated right now. And I'm not saying that to be funny. I know this is a comedy show. I know I like to joke around. But literally keep your head on a swivel because you never know when a guy's gonna throw a nail bomb at you. And that's a serious, serious thing that I hope nobody becomes a victim of. So with all this being said, though, guys, I want to talk about and play something that's it's actually kind of going viral. I can't believe it. It is. It's me getting picked up at the airport today. I just spoke at Texas tech last night. We aired the show, and it was a great event. We had, you know, a hundred kids to the comedy show. We had, you know, hundreds of kids come to the debate. Great event. But I didn't expect this clip to go viral. Now, the reason why I want to play this is because this is a perfect example of great American engineering. We used to be a proper country with proper cars that didn't turn off and you stopped at a red light. We used to have proper cars that if you got in a wreck, didn't mess up the car too much. It wasn't made out of plastic. And this is actually my El Camino. I was being picked up by a guy by the name of Edward Lindsay, One of my employees, My best employee, really, my only employee. But that's neither here nor there. And I can't believe that this clip is going so viral. And I think the reason that it is is because now we are getting so old that you don't see classic cars like this. So I want to play this clip and try to remind you of. Of how great America used to be. Yeah, this is how pimp on a blimp gets picked up from the airport, bro. Look at the El Camino, bro. This is when you're a pim, you're in the El Camino at the airport. Look at this, guys. This is first class. Forget about Uber, forget about Lyft, forget about all that stuff. I'm in the clean El Camino. Look, this thing is clean as a whistle. Now that is American greatness. That is what we got to get back to driving around in El Camino's because that is great engineering. It's a truck and a car. Now I think they make the, the Hyundai Santa Cruz. They try to rip it off, but that is the best engineering, way better than any bomb could ever be. It's a car and a truck. So I want to get back to that. We need more auto manufacturers making that style of vehicle instead of what they're making today. Basically all these gay cars. I mean every car has become gay. And I want to get back to straight heterosexual cars like the El Camino. Well, folks, we've talked about a lot tonight. We've been kind of an unemotional ride, you know, ups and downs. And I know everybody's probably going to get. Not everybody, but some people are going to get triggered by some of the things that we said tonight. But if you guys want to say it to my face, I'm going to be at CPAC on the 25th. You're welcome to come there. Please don't bring a nail bomb. I don't think anybody with a nail bomb will be there. But you never know now that all these terrorists are basically radicalized to attack people. And you know, that probably is going to be a vulnerable spot because there's going to be a lot of conservatives there. But that's neither here nor there. There's going to be a lot of security. So I want to play this clip. I'm going to be at CPAC coming up very soon on the 25th. I think it's SOTS number. Let's see. Or is it just. I'm not sure what SOT number it is, but I think we have a CPAC clip. Do we? In my ear.
