Alex Stein
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, welcome to After Hours with Alex Stein, right here on Real America's Voice. And tonight, we have to start with something that is incredibly important. Probably one of the most important things that we are facing as citizens of this country is that the first amendment is under attack. People want to limit our ability to speak freely. And they also want want to come after private citizens when you expose them for being freaks and creeps and you're like, what are you talking about, Alex? We're not Talking about the Iran war. Right now we're talking about something that is much more impactful to the world. That's right. We're talking about the legend, rap superstar Afroman who is currently facing a very, very serious court case where he's being sued by, I forget, the sheriff's department. But we'll get into that in his local city for exposing the police department when they raided his house. Because I think he was, you know, smoking a little weed or growing a little grass. I don't know. He is Afro Man. I mean, you know, his song is Because I got high. Because I got high. Because I got high. So he got high. You know what? So what? It's a free country and I mean, I guess these cops didn't like it. Well, they decided to go into his house and on his security cameras, Afroman caught one of the police officers he eating some of his lemon pound cake. And Afroman responded by of course the how all rappers respond by writing a diss track. So I want to start off by playing a short clip of it right now.
Afroman
Mine I seen the corruption of the Adam county cops Stealing money, stealing cake when they make they traffic stops first they screw you then they sue you play games and dismiss your claims. The proof on the Internet Afroman will bring it to ya Afroman is gonna do ya Afroman is gonna screw ya My proof's on the Internet Mine eyes have seen informants get busted with felonies Tell the cops I'm a kidnapper and I sell a lot of keys ra house and then get pissed cause the dungeon don't exist My proofs on the Internet.
Alex Stein
So Afroman is being sued by the Adams County Sheriff's Department for defamation and invasion of privacy. Because these cops feel like because Afroman exposed them by showing the security footage from their raid that then now they are vulnerable to some sort of attack or retaliation from one of Afroman's fans. And I'm a fan of Afroman. I would never, you know, retaliate in honor of Afroman. And I would say that most of his fans are probably too big of a potheads to even go do anything or get involved in this. But I get it. These cops want to, you know, they want to be a victim. They want to try to go after another pimp on a blimp like Afroman. I know it, I get targeted. But I think it's obvious that Afroman is getting targeted and I think he had a very good statement when they asked him about this in court. Let's play it
John Dennis
and the more lies,
Rand Paul
outrageous lies you tell about them, the
Alex Stein
more money you can make, right?
Afroman (Court Statement)
Fact, they never should have came to my house in the first place. Fact, if they hadn't came to my house, they wouldn't have put themselves on the video camera and in my music career. All of this is their fact. All of this is their fault. And they have the audacity to sue me. These people and you are the predators and the victim at the same time.
John Dennis
So what they did, searching your house,
Rand Paul
gave you the right to do everything.
Afroman (Court Statement)
Under the circumstance that I got freedom of speech. After they run around my house with guns and kick down my door, I got the right to kick a can in my backyard, Use my freedom of speech, turn my bad times into a good time. Yes, I do. And I think I'm a sport for doing so, because I don't go to their house, kick down their doors, flip them off on their surveillance cameras, then try to play the victim and sue them.
Alex Stein
Now, Afro man, in my opinion, is exactly correct in his disdain for this sheriff's department, Adams County. They went into his house on his security footage. They flipped him off, they ate his pound cake. And all he did was post the video from the footage on his own property. So I don't care if you're the cops or a stranger. If you come on my property and you happen to get filmed, just like when I go to Walmart or when I go to any store and they film me on the security camera, if they were to pose that, you know, pose it anywhere on the Internet, that's not. That's just free game. You know what I mean? We don't have the right to privacy that some people think that we do. We live in a technocratic society where there's a camera everywhere. And so you should, as a law enforcement officer in any sort of raid or any sort of police work, you should act as if you're constantly being filmed. So the problem here is that you got caught with your hand in the cookie jar, and now you're frustrated because Afroman embarrassed you. And on top of that, he also wrote an incredible song that has gone super viral called Lemon pound Cake. Dissing the Sean Cooley, the deputy that actually was responsible for walking into Afroman's house and. And eating the pound cake. Let's play a little snippet of it.
Afroman
The Adams county sheriff kicked down my door Then I heard the glass break they found no kidnapping victims Just some lemon pound cake Mama's lemon pound cake it tastes so nice it made the sheriff Wanna put down his gun and cut him a slide of what?
John Dennis
Of what?
Afroman
Lemon pound cake he wanna put down his squad Lemon pound cake trending on TikTok Lemon pound cake he's a family guy Lemon pound cake munchies because he got hot Lemon pound cake pound cake
Alex Stein
and now that song went so viral that the deputy responsible for actually going into his house, putting down his gun and having a slice of mama's pound cake is getting trolled brutally. He's getting lemon pound caked mogged. Which I know sounds crazy, but that's what's happening. And you can hear it in his own words that thousands of people are sending him, lemon pound cake to his place of work, the Adams County Sheriff's Department. So let's watch Sean Cooley describe this horrible situation he's under. So, Mr. Cooley. Sorry, Sean, you were called Officer pound cake by Mr. Foreman multiple times. You received hundreds of pound cakes at
John Dennis
work from different people.
Andrew Callahan
Okay.
Alex Stein
And the context of that name comes from a music video that Mr. Foreman created. Correct?
John Dennis
I don't know where he got it at, but you'd have to ask him that question.
Alex Stein
Now, Deputy Sean Cooley, you are the biggest hypocrite in the world. You're going to sit on a stand and act like it's such a bad thing that people were just being nice and sending you hundreds of pound cakes when you were doing a serious police criminal investigation at somebody's house, a stranger. You don't even know if there might have been some weed laced in that pound cake. And I mean, I wouldn't put it at pass Afroman to have some sort of edibles in his house. And you sat down and you sliced a piece of pound cake and you ate it. You became Officer Pound Cake, and now you are reaping what you sow. So I've never seen somebody act like such a victim for getting free food. Think about all the starving kids in Africa right now that would love some free lemon pound cake. They would eat it up. They would do anything for it. And let's be honest, Sean, you're not that small. It looks like you like pound cake. So I'd imagine that you probably saw it, your mouth started watering, and you're probably like, should I accept this? But no, I don't want to accept it because I want to look like a victim, when in reality, you got more clout from this one video than you'll ever have in your entire life. And a real person, a real pimp on a blimp should laugh about it. Should not go to another court of law and sue a man for defamation for a joke. It's not that serious. People sending you free gifts should not be something that makes you feel like you're threatened whatsoever. It's a joke. It's called trolling. Now, I know Adams county is probably not the hippest county, but I'd imagine that if Afroman is there and now you understand that he is a very funny rapper that sings a lot of songs that have funny commentary in it, he's going to have an audience that likes his humor and that's probably going to mirror that humor. So when he calls you Officer Pound Cake and when the fan sends you a pound cake, that really means in a way that they like you. That's the nicest way to troll you. They could call you fat. They could, you know, call you every single name in the book. That doesn't make you feel good. But if somebody was to send me a piece of delicious pound cake, I would say thank you. May I have another? Because that's the real American way. So don't pretend like all of a sudden you stop liking pound cake when you walk into a man's house. You ate the pound cake on a security cameras, it got posted and now you're trying to act like you're Rosa Parks or you're some victim of a hate crime, when in reality you are just experiencing the repercussions from your own actions. It's that simple. And you're not only wasting my time, Afromance time, and the whole entire world's time because we have to cover this, because Afro is considerably one of the greatest marijuana rappers of all time. So really, at the end of the day, who benefits from this? I guess me, the podcaster that gets to play clips of it and laugh at you. But really and truly, as a police officer, you should be able to handle the most intense scrutiny from the people that you try to arrest and the people that support your police department. And if you think it is a threat to be sent some of the most delicious dessert treats in the world, then you are the freak. And you're obviously out of touch with reality. And that's probably why you filed this lawsuit in the first place, because you are a baby back bitch. I think we can say bitch, but I don't, I don't want to say it because I don't want to call you that because you're just a fat guy that probably has diabetes that wants to eat pound cake. And I can empathize with that. Because I'm a fat guy that loves pound cake too. So all I'm saying is this free Afro man, he better win this court case. We don't know what the outcome is yet, but I promise you, as soon as we find it out, we're going to be talking about it right here on After Hours with Alex Stein. All right, guys, coming up next, we got a great guest, John Dennis. He runs the GOP basically in all of California, and his state is insane, but he's great at holding our elected leaders accountable. Alex Stein
Welcome back to After Hours with Alex Stein right here on Real America's Voice. Now, our next guest is the chairman of the Republican Liberty Caucus that actually puts out a scorecard and rates all of our elected leaders on whether or not they're actually being a good Republican. So I really appreciate him holding people accountable. So let's welcome on the one, the only, John Dennis. John, how you doing, my friend?
John Dennis
I'm doing well, Alex. I feel like this is long overdue.
Alex Stein
It is. It really is. You and I have been friends for years. We've gone to famous transgender parades. We've been yelled at. We've been assaulted. We've been in the fire together. And it forged us, it made us stronger. But what I appreciate what you're doing right now, the Republican Liberty Caucus, that is, you know, it's a mouthful. You are actually holding our politicians accountable by putting out a scorecard. Now, you and I talked before this interview, and some of these scores are absolutely embarrassing. And I guess I want you to elaborate. Why is it so shockingly low for the majority of these politicians that we elected when they call themselves Republicans and then they vote in a way that is not very conservative whatsoever?
John Dennis
Well, this is the main problem in politics and this is the reason why we do this scores, because we think that our Republican electeds are actually out there fighting for constitutional government, reducing the size of government. But the truth is they become swamp creatures for the most part. And I remember I was sitting in Senator Paul's office one day and we were talking about it, and he didn't really have very many guys who he could work with because they're all just committed to special interests and, and growing Washington, D.C. so that's why we put out the scorecard. We've been doing it for many years now, and this year is particularly interesting.
Alex Stein
Well, why is it so interesting? Because I just looked at it. So Rand Paul had almost a perfect score, 99. But then his nemesis that we're going to get into, Mark Wayne Mullen, scored horrible at one of the lowest scores. Is that correct?
John Dennis
One of the lowest scores. And he scores low every year. Every year he's been to the Senate. That's, that's how he is scored. And it's particularly bad this year. It seems a little counterintuitive unless you think about it. But when the Republican Party is in power, the scores tend to go down. When they're out of power, they tend to go up because they vote on their principles. But then they become part of the team when they're in power and their scores go down. So this year actually the lowest scores went up a little bit, but there aren't very many high scores. After Rand Paul, we dropped down to 65.
Alex Stein
Wow. So Rand Paul was the highest and then the next highest was 65. According to your, your. The way you score it.
John Dennis
Yeah, 65. And the way we do it is we take a cross section of bills, domestic policy, foreign policy, you know, spending, those kinds of things. And we publish all this. It's on website rlc.org and you can see what with the bills that we picked. And then we just assign points to those, to those bills equally. And then we see, say, see how they voted. And then we say how we would have voted and we, we score them based on that. And here's one interesting thing. We do not tell them beforehand how we would vote. We're not lobbying them. We just tell it like it is after the year is over.
Alex Stein
Well, I appreciate you doing that. And you just mentioned that you're friends with Rand Paul. And today the Internet and Twitter especially is blowing up with all of these clips from Mark Wayne Mullen's confirmation hearing. And I would say that Mark Wayne Mullen looks pretty bad in this clip that we're about to play where he basically was happy that Rand Paul got assaulted. So let's watch the clip and then I want to get your reaction to it.
M
Sir. I think there's. Everybody in this room knows that I'm very blunt and direct to the point. And if I have something to say, I'll say it directly to your face. If you recall, back in my house days, we actually did have this conversation because remarks that I made. You were in a room. I simply addressed that. I said I could understand because of the behavior you were having, that I could understand why your neighbor, why the neighbor did what he did. As far as my terms as a snake in the grass, sir, I work around this room to try to fix problems. I've worked with many people in this room. Seems like you fight Republicans more than you work with us.
Alex Stein
I mean, that's pretty damning. He accused him of fighting Republicans and not working with them. But according to your research, Rand Paul is one of the most, I guess, loyal to the party voters when it comes to anybody that's on Capitol Hill. Is that correct?
Rand Paul
Yeah.
John Dennis
I mean, if you're a rank and file Republican, go take a look at the bills that we addressed. They're all part of the methodology. They're in the report. And tell me how you would have voted. You would have voted the same way he did. And it's not Rand Paul that's failing the Republican party party. It's the rest of the senators who are failing the Republican Party and the Republican voter. And, you know, Mark Wayne Mullen is, I don't know how he calls himself a Republican. We're going to probably do a Democrat version of this. And I suspect that some of these Democrats are going to score higher than Mark Wayne Mullen. So what?
Alex Stein
Are you serious? So he's that big of a uni party, you know, guy. I would have thought that how would Trump nominate a guy like him if he knows that he's basically a rhino?
John Dennis
He is a disaster waiting to happen for Donald Trump. This guy has anger issues, he's got impulse control issues. He shouldn't be running a convenience store, and he certainly shouldn't be running a federal agency that has armed law enforcement officers out in the field. I mean, think about how tricky this business is of doing immigration enforcement. And he's the guy who's gonna lead it with that disposition. He's a disaster. Trump ought to bail on him and find somebody who's more suitable for the position.
Alex Stein
Well, and to be fair, Mark Wayne Mullen is part Native American and we know Native Americans. They're fighters, they're tough people. So maybe that is why he's so aggressive in saying that it was okay when Rand Paul got brutally assaulted, which I think that you should never co sign that because we're having serious political violence from, you know, people on the far left, but people that are radical jihads. I mean, everybody is being targeted right now just because, you know, not just because of the side effects for the Iranian war, but we are in a culture war as well where there's LGBTQ people fighting people. So to encourage any sort of violence against another elected official, Being an elected official is probably one of the dumbest moves you can make. So I really don't trust his judgment that much either.
John Dennis
It could have been resolved very simply. He could have said, senator Paul, I'm sorry, those were terrible injuries. Shouldn't have said it. Please accept my apology and it would have been over. But this guy is so hard headed and I don't know, look, I don't want to accuse anybody of anything, but he sort of gives me the impression that not only does he have impulse control issues, maybe he's suffering from some sort of ptsd. And this is, you know, we have a lot of people to deport in this country and which means there are going to be a lot more encounters, at least there should be. And he's the guy who's going to be telling these people on how to behave in public in these tense situations. This is a person who's just not suited for the position and he shouldn't be supported.
Alex Stein
John, I want to cut you off, though. I mean, you and I both know that now these multinational corporations have Donald Trump's ear. And the fact that Donald Trump has deported less people than Barack Obama, I'm really not very hopeful that there's going to be a coordinated rounding up of the illegals and actually sent out a this country. I think they're not necessarily going to give them amnesty, but I don't think that we're going to see the deportations that, you know, they campaigned on, if we're being honest.
John Dennis
Well, that's total. That, that is totally true. It's been a massive disappointment and, but there will be some interactions. They are going to happen. And, you know, the protesters are following them around. They're looking to create chaos. They're looking for the sort of publicity that they got in Minnesota and Los Angeles. And in those instances, that's the guy who's going to be your North Star. I just think this is a disaster waiting to happen. Donald Trump's personnel decisions in the second term have been better than the first. But think about the first term. I mean, Donald Trump appointed John Bolton, who is a disaster, and he's had a history, I'm sorry to say, of some questionable, if not outright bad personnel decisions. And I'm afraid that demarc Wayne Mullen may end up in the hall of Fame in that latter category.
Alex Stein
Well, let's wait. But I do want to see, I want to see your reaction to this clip that we're about to play. This is basically Rand Paul just asking Mark Wayne Mullen to say it to his face. You said it to the media that it was okay that I got assaulted. Say it to my face. And Mark Wayne Mullen, I mean, he looked pretty shook. Let's play it.
Rand Paul
You went on to brag that you'd already told me to my face that you completely understood and approved of the assault. Well, that's a lie. You got a chance today. You can either continue to lie or you can correct the record. You have never had the courage to look me in the eye and tell me that the assault was justified. So today you'll have your chance. Today I'll give you that chance to clear the record. Tell it to my face. If that's what you believe. Tell it to me today, tell the world why you believe I deserve to be assaulted from behind, have six ribs broken and a damaged lung. Tell me to my face why you think I deserved it. And while you're at it, explain to the American public why they should trust a man with anger issues to set the proper example for ICE and Border Patrol agents.
Alex Stein
Those are pretty strong words from Rand Paul. You can tell that he definitely felt some sort of way. I mean, there's definitely a lot of animosity between him and Mark Wayne Mullen. So how does this situation get rectified? Is Mark Wayne Mullen just, I mean, is he fighting an uphill battle already, you know, when he's getting basically chewed out by the people that are supposedly on the same side?
John Dennis
Well, I don't know. I mean, Rand is going to vote against him, but I think John Fetterman is going to vote for him. So that'll nullify his vote and then he'll likely get approved. But, you know, if that couldn't persuade some of the Republicans on the committee to vote against him, I don't know what will. By the way, it should be noted that that was Senator Paul's opening statement. And Mark Wayne Mullen never took the opportunity to apologize or to say to his face that he deserved to be or was justified that he be attacked that way. So Rand was actually the strong guy in that position. And Mark Wayne Mullen likes to position himself as the masculine guy in the room. And he withered under that pressure.
Alex Stein
Yeah. And it was crazy when they were asking him about some of his classified work that he did in and Azerbaijan. And that was very weird the way that he not answered that. Well, we're going to get into it and we're going to react to what Tulsi Gabbard had to say when she was pressed about the Iran war. And I know that John is a friend of Tulsi, so you do not want to miss it. That's coming up next, right here on After HOURS with Alex Stein.
Andrew Callahan
Foreign.
After Hours Promo Announcer
Welcome back to after hours on real america's voice.
Alex Stein
Thank you so much for joining us. Right here on Real America's Voice, you're watching After HOURS with Alex Stein. And our guest is the chairman of the Republican Liberty Caucus, John Dennis. Now, John, can you tell us a little bit about your relationship with Tulsi Gabbard? I know that you are friends with her, and do you think she's doing a good job? Because obviously Joe Kent has made a lot of noise with his resignation and calling out foreign lobbyists for getting us in this war. And Tulsi said the exact opposite of Joe Kent when Tulsi was the same person that was just selling T shirts that said no war with Iran less than two years ago. So what is your opinion on Tulsi Gabbard?
John Dennis
Yeah, well, I haven't spoken to Tulsi in probably at least a year. And at our Republican Liberty Caucus convention, excuse me, Constitution Day dinner down in Florida a couple of years ago, she was the keynote speaker. I sat next to her and I preceded her comments. And I made it clear to that audience that where the Republican Liberty Caucus stands on foreign policy and on interventionism and not executing regime change wars. And when I got back to my seat, Tulsi congratulated me and thanked me for making those statements. And now fast forward to today and it seems like unfortunately she's fallen into the same trap as her predecessors by basically saying that the President was justified in his actions. And frankly, she knows better. I'm disappointed in her. And it just goes to show the pressure of Washington because I never met anyone so resolute about a particular position than I did Tulsi. But now you can see how folks behave once they're, once they're in a position of power.
Alex Stein
No, I mean, you're exactly right. Now let's play this where she gets asked about nuclear weapon proliferation and she names a slew of other countries, Russia, China, North Korea, Iran and Pakistan, how they're all going to have nukes. So she went from an anti war candidate to now she sounds like she is a Lindsey Graham neocon. Let's play the clip.
Megan McCardell
However, the intelligence community assesses that Russia, China, North Korea, Iran and Pakistan have been researching and developing an array of novel advanced or traditional missile delivery systems with nuclear and conventional payloads that put our homeland within range.
Alex Stein
So that sounds like more propaganda for us to be scared of a nuclear weapon, which we know Iran had a little bit of uranium and it was enriched 60%, but they were still months or years away from even getting the capability to actually have a nuclear weapon. So is Tulsi compromised? What is she trying to do, just scare us into submission?
John Dennis
I hate to speculate on what people's motivations are and we're not there. I mean, it could just be ambition. She's in a tough spot moving forward because she's just completely undercut her whole, her position as a, you know, as a candidate. She has the, she has the opportunity and the placement to discourage this sort of behavior. And so I don't really know where she goes from here. And I don't know why she did it, but it's a massive disappointment. And one other thing I wanted to mention about that Iran business. Iran saw what happened to Moamore Gaddafi, and so they were doing what was called edging. They were making sure that they had a program in place just in case. And they were under the authority of the iaea. They had cameras in their facilities. There was no diversion of nuclear materials, and people knew where they stood. There was no reason to do this. And it also violated not only the Constitution, but the really irrelevant War Powers Act, War Powers Resolution. So the fact that someone like Tulsi, who we trusted, was going to take a strong position, someone like her was going to take a strong position that she didn't do when the time came is really, you know, emphasizes the disappointment. This whole thing is completely unnecessary and it puts the American people in jeopardy.
Alex Stein
No, and another point that I agree with, because we're fighting an asymmetrical war where Iran doesn't have to bomb us back. They can just bomb our allies and create as much global economic uncertainty, causing a lot of pressure domestically here in America and of course, across the globe. So let's play this clip where Tulsi. Alex, before we go to that clip
John Dennis
real quickly, I mean, we just had a border open for four, four years and 20 million people came across. We don't know who they are, where they are.
Alex Stein
Yeah, no, you're exactly right. And the likelihood of a retaliation domestic terror attack happening here is only going to increase exponentially after going and bombing Tehran so much. But let's play this clip where she says that Iran is degraded, but the regime has not fallen. Let's play.
Megan McCardell
In the Middle east, conflict and instability will shape security, political and economic dynamics in a variety of ways. The IC assesses that Operation Epic Fury is advancing fundamental change in the region that began with Hamas's attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, and continued with the 12 Day War last year, resulting in weakening Iran and its proxies. The IC assesses the regime in Iran appears to be intact but largely degraded due to attacks on its leadership and military capabilities.
Alex Stein
Well, that's pretty bad news if we wanted a regime change. And considering, you know, everybody's been saying the cliche that it took 20 years to replace the Taliban with the Taliban and only nine days to replace Kimani with Kamani Jr. The fact that if they're still intact, isn't that going to be almost impossible to have regime change if they're still intact to John.
John Dennis
Yeah, well, this is. Listen, this is a whole new ball game with Iran, with 95 million people in the country. This is a complete failure of politicians. Anytime we go to war, especially these wars of choice, it is a complete and epic failure by our politicians, by the elected officials who we put in charge to and we trust to make these kinds of decisions. And so there are all sorts of different wars going on. There's the kinetic war, there's the economic war. The world is in a tricky position and it's also forcing a realignment that we don't necessarily want to see happen with Russia and China getting involved as well.
Alex Stein
I know. And I think that that's the only way for us to come out of this war looking and sitting pretty is that Donald Trump needs to come to the negotiation table with Vladimir Putin so that Vladimir Putin can negotiate on our behalf with their ally Iran and hopefully in the Ukraine war and the Iran war at the same time. And I think that that would be universally loved even by the anti and the pro war people that are in the Republican Party. So is that a possibility or am I smoking too much Afroman weed, John?
John Dennis
Well, you smoke a little too much weed to begin with, so I can't really comment on it. But I will say that, you know, we put out a statement, the Republican Liberty Caucus in the summer of last year, disagreeing with President Trump supporting him and disagreeing with him on his decision to bomb Iran. And we got some blowback. We got a lot of, lot of support for that. But we also made a point of saying that we think he's a master negotiator and that if we trust anyone to get the deal done, it would be him. He has completely destroyed that notion that he is a great negotiator. It was a resolvable situation. It didn't need to get to this point. And unfortunately, he's going to have to take that away with him as his legacy.
Alex Stein
Well, I do think that it is redeemable. I don't want to throw the baby out with the bathwater. I definitely think that this conflict's horrible. But to me, just looking online, it seems like it's slowing down a little bit. And let's be real, I'm sure that we've bombed them to hell. But they have underground bunkers full of weapons and we're kind of running low on ammunition too. So at some point, if this is a war of attrition, it's going to have a limited lifetime, I believe. And I'm not A war expert. But, but I guess my point is, do you think that it's going to actually be that big of a disaster where we have to leave all of our military bases in the Gulf states and that we just have no presence in the Middle east, or do you think that they'll be able to kind of come to a similar agreement that we had previously to this war?
John Dennis
Well, I don't know if you follow Robert Pate, but he's an expert in these areas. And one of the things that he points out repeatedly that in the last hundred years, there has never been a war that was resolved ultimately in favor of someone just simply by air power. So, you know, either negotiation or troops on the ground are going to be the. Are going to be the result of this. So let's hope for the former and not the latter because that would be, would be disastrous for not just for us and for the world. And hopefully Donald Trump will rediscover those great negotiating skills.
Alex Stein
Well, and I'm also worried they want to go after that Kharg island, which I do think would be important because that is where a lot of their oil infrastructure is in Iran. And they have, they rely on that for their economy. But the idea of having like a Normandy beaches, D day type situation, but in Iran, and I'm laughing only because it kind of makes you feel uncomfortable, a lot of soldiers are going to die if that's the case. So how do we even put boots on the ground in a country that's mainly mountains that has 900,000 people in their military? And I believe that the Taliban only had 40,000 people in their military and we still struggled with them. So I would say, you know, like I said, I'm not a military Expert, but fighting 900 soldiers is a lot harder than fighting 40,000.
John Dennis
Yeah. And it's a much bigger country than Iraq, a much more powerful country, a hardened country from war with Iraq that was some years ago. But they've been playing this chess game and gaming it out for a long time. And this is not going to be a cakewalk by any stretch of the imagination. And if China's interests are jeopardized, you don't know what their involvement is going to be. This whole thing is just not a good thing. Look, I support the President. I certainly support our military. I hope that we don't suffer additional losses, and I hope that they perform as well as I know we all know that they can. But let's just hope for now that the president gets back in his negotiating game. And he sorts out something that resolves us before things get out of hand.
Alex Stein
Yeah. And I don't want to play the clip. And Fox News just had a recent clip that just came out an hour ago that now they're not even going to show the soldiers during the dignified transfer. They did show that Donald Trump is at the latest one, but they're not going to show it because allegedly the families don't want their other family members to be on camera, which I don't understand why that is, but I guess I would speculate. I think there's a lot more casualties than they're telling us, but I hope I'm wrong. So. So Jon, do you think there's more casualties than they've told us?
John Dennis
Well, yeah, but this is a different era. This isn't Walter Cronkite's CBS News, three networks. I mean there are cameras everywhere and these sorts of things will leak and you're going to see people get discouraged in a big way really soon. They're not going to be able to hold this kind of information back for very long.
Alex Stein
You know, you're exactly right. A young kid here is 20 years old. It was Kevin Melendez went to Grapevine High School and sadly he lost his life when he was attacked in Saudi Arabia. So just a sad local kid to die before he even got to start his life, really. Just 20 years old. And I hope that there's not any more 20 year olds that die. I think there was another woman that was 20, but it's just a sad situation. Well, John, I really appreciate you coming on and I really appreciate you putting out the scorecard with the Republican Liberty Caucus. I can't even speak, but you know what I mean. So, John, how can people find you and support you before you go?
John Dennis
Go to RLC.org RLC.org and follow us on X at our Liberty Caucus and keep up with what we're working on, finding the right.
Alex Stein
And I know you're in and I know you're in San Francisco. Last question. Is Gavin Newsom going to have a shot to be the nominee?
John Dennis
Oh, sure. Oh, yeah. Formidable. I mean, he's gonna be.
Alex Stein
Do you think he will. I know. I'm just saying do you think that he's gonna be the guy that does it and will AOC have a part in it?
John Dennis
Maybe. I don't know. I will say this. I mean, the politicians that the Democrats put forward are typically cartoon characters. They're obviously flawed and obviously insincere, but they've got first rate People behind the scenes who are really good at strategy and gaming things out. So never underestimate them. I think he's the favorite, maybe not prohibited, but the favorite to get the nomination. And then once he gets into the final two, who knows what happens?
Alex Stein
I just can't believe a guy that mismanaged a great state like California for so long is going to be the front runner to lead the Democrats in the next election. But I guess we don't live in a. Yeah, I know, but I'm just saying we don't live in a results oriented society. People don't even care about the results. They just care about if you're halfway decent looking, you're well spoken, and if you're dyslexic. All right, John, thank you so much for joining us, guys. I really appreciate it. John, I'll talk to you soon. All right, coming up next, we're gonna cover the latest beef with Piers Morgan Rage quitting on his own show. Trust me, you don't want to miss it. Thank you guys so much for joining us this evening right here in Real America's Voice. You're watching After Hours with Alex Stein. And don't forget, guys, we're doing the Soldier Fuel challenge right now that if you order some Soldier Fuel on Amazon and you post a video of yourself enjoying this elixir and it's funny or it's cool or it's inspiring, you're going to not only be entered to win a case of Soldier Fuel, we're also going to play your clip on our network here at Real America's Voice. So if you guys want to participate and you want to help out a pimp on a blimp, go out and order some Soldier Fuel. I love this stuff. I drink it like crazy. It's the only thing that keeps me up this late at night. I'm telling you, that is the best energy drink I've ever had. It's a little citrusy, a little sweet, but no calories. Well, five calories, which is basically like none but no sugar. So if you're on a diet, you can have this. It's not going to raise your blood sugar. It's not going to make you get too cranky, you know, get all jacked up and then have a crash. It's going to be a nice smooth buzz. Dare I say it doesn't get you high. But you know what I mean, it gives you the energy that you need to succeed. All right, folks, we got to talk about another thing that is so near and dear to my heart. Piers Morgan, famous journalist and broadcaster, recently had on Manosphere legend HS Tiki Talky. And in this clip, HS Tiki Talk is Tiki Talkie, hard to say, is getting pressed by Piers Morgan for his homophobic viewpoints. And I believe that HS Tikki Talky is going viral because he recently was in the Netflix documentary saying that he would disown his son if he was gay, which I don't know if that's the nicest thing to do, but some guys are like that, you know, some people are very pro gay, some people are anti gay. And Piers Morgan accuses him of being a homophobe. And HS Tikki Talkie fires right back with evidence that Piers Morgan, his wife, was saying some not so nice stuff and talking about how when Pierce is away, the pool boy will play. Yes. And it gets Piers Morgan so triggered that he actually rage quits on his own show. This is crazy footage. Let's play him.
John Dennis
I couldn't care less about your silly little insults. You're. It's like a two year old. Why would I care?
Alex Stein
A two year old. A two year old. Listen, sir, I don't know why you come on and you talk like you're holier than now as soon as you're away. All right, applications are open. All right, that's your team, bro. That's your girl. Let's end this, please. Cooked.
John Dennis
You know what? I'm not doing this. Sorry, guys, it's pointless.
Alex Stein
So we're lucky that HS Tiki Talker is filming that on his end to catch Piers Morgan rage quit on his own show when confronted with very scandalous Instagram videos posted by his current wife. So all I'm saying is, Piers, when you throw stones and you live in a glass house, don't be surprised when they throw those stones back. So you're calling the guy young. And maybe he is young, and maybe he is not your cup of tea. But at the end of the day, you trying to attack a young man when you're an elder like that, it seems like you're the one that's trying to bully him and the bully got bullied. That clip was kind of music to my ears. And I like Piers. I don't hate Piers Morgan, but I don't like a guy getting that upset when you know that you have a controversial guest on. And instead of getting mad at your wife for posting some scandalous Instagram posts, you get mad at the guy that exposes her for it. You know what I mean? Don't shoot the messenger and don't shoot your wife either. Now we got to get into my favorite freaking looks maxer. The one, the only clavicular was being interviewed by Andrew callahan from Channel 5 News. And the interview ended very abruptly once clavicular got mad when he asked Andrew if there's anything you want to change about himself. And Andrew says nothing. I'm. I'm fine. I like myself, which everybody's got something they want to fix. I mean, come on, we all have some sort of insecurities about something. And I'm not saying you need to be a looks max or you don't need a bone smash. You don't need to take your looks as the most important thing in your life. But it's always better to be trending on the side of I want to feel better, look better. That's just life. You know, when you're depressed, you don't care how you look. You don't shave your face. And so there is something inspiring about being a looks maxer. And I'm a looks maxer. I mean, come on, I'm a sexy man. You know it, I know it. So I'm in the same league as clavicular. But guys like Andrew Callahan, they're not in our league because they can't just admit that it's always better for the caterpillar to turn into a butterfly. It is a metamorphosis. And that's how life is. We should always be trying to trend upward. And that's not a bad thing. And for you to say that you're self actualized and you don't want to change anything about yourself just proves that you're a liar. Let's play the club.
Andrew Callahan
So when you wake up every single morning and you take a look in the mirror, you're 100% satisfied with every single thing. Is that what you're talking to me? Yeah, more or less. Okay, dude. All right, well, I. I guess that's just. If you want to be completely disingenuous, that's fine with me. I guess there's just no. No point to continue.
Alex Stein
All right, thank you for your time.
Andrew Callahan
Thank you. All right,
Alex Stein
Andrew, you got totally frame mog by clavicular. This is what it's like when you are just a 100 Chad looks maxer and you're just a gesture goon, gesture maxing freak that is alleged to have done a bunch of kind of perfect stuff to girls that called you out on the Internet for something that you did or did not do. But it was bad enough where you Kind of had to go into hiding for a little bit. So you're not the ultra Chad that you're trying to pretend to be. And you got totally frame mogged by the young legend Clavicular. So it's always good to see it. And this is how I frame mog. It's not that hard. Are my shoulders perfect regularly? No, but I just enhance it artificially on my TV show so that I can be the most dominant man in the room. So take a page out of my book. Clavicular books. Start smashing your face with a hammer. That is the only way to look better. All right, guys, thank you so much for joining us. I know you guys like to watch the show, but I want to invite every single one of you that is in the DFW area. Next week we are going to be at cpac. Not only myself and not only will a lot of the RAV hosts will be there, but we're going to have one of the biggest stages in the entire event. The signature “no filter” After Hours tone is on full display—irreverent, blunt, and direct, with Stein mixing trolling, pop culture references, and pointed political commentary.

(27:30 – 39:37)

“They never should have came to my house in the first place… you are the predators and the victims at the same time.” —Afroman [05:33]
Alex Stein:

John Dennis:
“Markwayne Mullin shouldn’t be running a convenience store, and he certainly shouldn’t be running a federal agency… He is a disaster waiting to happen for Donald Trump.” [21:23] “Tulsi knows better. I’m disappointed in her.” [28:16]
Rand Paul:
“Tell it to my face why you think I deserved it… while you’re at it, explain to the American public why they should trust a man with anger issues…” [25:01]
Alex Stein:
“Start smashing your face with a hammer. That is the only way to look better.” (on looksmaxing, tongue-in-cheek) [46:41]
