We begin this Tuesday morning with breaking news out of Budapest, Hungary, where Vice President J.D. vance is speaking alongside Hungary's Prime Minister, Viktor Orban. Let's listen in to the Vice President's remarks
Vice President J.D. Vance
who is pro the people of Hungary. In my experience, I've seen a guy who has ferociously advocated for the interests of Hungary. I'm here to help him in this, in this campaign cycle. And yet when I sat down with Victor, we didn't talk about politics. We talked about here are five things that we need that the Hungarian people need from the United States in order to further our partnership and in order to achieve prosperity. That's the kind of leadership that is needed and on everything from digital censorship. Why are bureaucrats in Brussels telling social media companies what information they're giving to Hungarian voters? I think the voters of Hungary are adults. They are sovereign in their own country and they should be able to look at whatever information they would like to about the election without somebody in a faraway capital treating them like children. Sovereignty, democracy are fundamentally about the people choosing. And part of the reason why we're here and part of the reason why the President United States sent me here is because that we think the amount of interference that's come from the bureaucracy in Brussels has been truly disgraceful. I won't tell the people of Hungary how to vote. I would encourage the bureaucrats in Brussels to do the exact same thing. So, Victor, thank you and it's good
Terrence
to see you very much.
Vice President J.D. Vance
We'll take a couple of questions. Do you want to.
David Brody
Thank you, Mr. Vice President.
Vice President J.D. Vance
We have time for a couple of questions.
Hungarian Journalist
The first two goes to the Hungarian
David Brody
side, and then the floor is yours, Mr. Vice President.
Hungarian Journalist
So the first question goes to Hungarian television. Thank you very much and good afternoon. I would not like to stand up because of the cameras. Thank you. I have two questions. One is to Mr. Prime Minister and the other one is to Mr. Vice President. From the Prime Minister, I would like to ask if they touched upon the possibilities of ending the Russian Ukrainian war during the negotiations. And from the Vice President, I would like to ask you to comment on the threat of President Zelensky towards Hungary and personally towards Viktor Orban. Thank you.
David Brody
Okay.
Hungarian Journalist
We did touch upon the Russian Ukrainian war, which is a painful subject. We're talking about a war waged between two Christian countries, Moreover, in the territory of Europe. So these two sentences actually set out how serious this war is. And I have always really looked up on the President of the United States. I'm talking about the current president, obviously, that from the first moment onward, he regarded these two dimensions as most important. In Europe, two Orthodox Christian countries are waging a war where tens and hundreds of thousands of people die and become injured for life. This is so terrible that you have to stop it at all costs. And since the United States prior to President Trump was in favor of this war, for us, the current position of the United States is indeed very valuable because it is fundamentally pro peace. So if a Hungarian and US Politician meet, they cannot avoid talking about the Russian Ukrainian war. Moreover, this war is being waged in the neighborhood of Hungary. Hungarians also die in this war since in the current territory of Ukraine, multiple Hungarians live who are drafted occasionally with brutal coercive measures, they are taken to the front where they die. So you cannot avoid talking about the Russian Ukrainian war during especially so, because previously the President of the United States had initiated a peace summit between the US And Russia. And he recommended as a venue for the stocks Budapest, the capital of Hungary, which is the perhaps only possible venue in Europe. And Hungary agreed to that. In fact, I must say that up to the level of the technical preparation of this meeting, we negotiated on those with both the President of the United States and the President of Russia. And Hungary remains ready. So that if the US And Russia believe that peace summit is required between the two of them, then Budapest will be happy to provide itself as a venue for that meeting. And we are available. And that's all I can say to you.
Vice President J.D. Vance
Thank you for your willingness to host. And just to answer your question, so I'm not aware of President Zelensky threatening Viktor Orban. I know that there have been a lot of people who have threatened Victor and have, frankly, not just threatened the people of Hungary, but have actually tried to exact costs on the people of Hungary because their leadership has been one of the few that's been wise and smart about the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Now, look, you don't have to defend the morality of the war. I think Victor has. I certainly have. The President, United States has condemned the invasion. We don't like the war. We want it to stop. That's not the question. The question is how do you make it stop? And the answer is not by politicians who stand at microphones and beat their chests and act tough when somebody else's children are going off to fight in a conflict. You do it through sustained diplomacy. As I ask the people of Hungary, not Hungary, what is the alternative to peace? Is it to continue feeding young men into this terrible, terrible war, to continue this completely ridiculous cycle of violence, or is it to get serious about diplomacy? Is it to continue to have skyrocketing energy prices where European economies are on the verge of collapse, or is it sit down and get serious about a revolution? The reason that.
David Brody
People
Vice President J.D. Vance
what's going on in Russia and Ukraine than most countries anywhere else in the world. The president has asked us to work so diligently on it because he knows that it's bad. It's bad for commerce, it's bad for morality, it's bad for human life. We need to actually engage in some real diplomacy. Victor has been better at anybody at helping us understand what is the Ukrainians need and what is it that the Russians need in order to achieve peace. We're going to keep on working on that process. As you've all heard the president say, this war has been the hardest of all worked on to solve, but we're going to keep on working at it. The president has on working at it. But we need people.
Terrence
You've been listening to Vice President J.D. vance speaking in Budapest, Hungary, alongside the prime minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban. They are addressing issues related to Russia and Ukraine and also energy. Let's bring in Dr. Gina and David to discuss this more. Also, chief White House correspondent Brian Glenn standing by at the White House will get his ideas on what just transpired here momentarily as well. David, first, your take. Obviously, Hungary is an ally and President Trump has been very close with viktor Orban. Now, J.D. vance continuing to build that relationship.
David Brody
Yeah, Orban's in trouble. The election is Sunday. Vance is jetting in at the last moment to hopefully save Viktor Orban's presidency. They're down by he and his party, down by about 10 points or so. So that's kind of the context to all of this. But, Dr. G, what's interesting to me is that these are strange bedfellows here. And I'm not talking about Hungary and the United States. I'm talking about the United States and Russia. Both want Orban to win for different reasons. Both Russia and the United States are not big fans of the EU in different ways. Waves and Orban is that linchpin who stands up to the eu, and that's why Russia and the United States actually kind of like him. One of the many reasons they do.
Dr. Gina
Hmm. It is strange bedfellows. And I think we'll see more of that as this bizarre political environment continues to advance. It doesn't surprise me at all that we would have somebody like this and have this whole situation happening right now and unfolding. And like I said, I think it's something that we'll see more of as this sort of just new age of politics transpires. Brian?
Brian Glenn
Yeah, I agree. Dr. Gina Good morning, everybody. I think you're going to see, especially go into 2028, this global push for the right leaders to be in the right countries. And if you have another corrupt election in a country that we rely on, in a country that we consider an ally and someone that aligns with our vision of not only just what sanity looks like economically as well, if we lose one of these countries and they were to go a leftist direction, that does have global implications, and it could, in terms of having peace in certain regions around the world, it could be very detrimental to that as well. So it was nice hearing Vice President Vance in his remarks there in Hungary.
Hungarian Journalist
Yeah.
Terrence
Busy day for the administration. You're there at the White House. Let's just be honest. The big story is 8pm Eastern Time. President Trump, of course, threatening to bomb Iran's not nuclear sites. Excuse me, to bomb its power plants and its bridges. What is the reaction there at the White House this morning? What is the talk in preparation for the eventuality of this potentially happening?
Brian Glenn
Yeah, I was just walking along pebble beach this morning, and I was, you know, listening to some of the. You can't help but listen to them because some of the reporters from legacy media, they're all talking about it. That is the talk right now. It's 8pm tonight. And as President Trump said yesterday, Terrence, in that meeting, in that briefing room, that it would be a four hour window. So if you want to look at the clock on this thing that is, you know, 8pm local time to midnight local time, that's when you're going to see if this all plays out as President Trump thinks it will. Destruction on these bridges, on these power plants, on these water desalination plants and all this infrastructure that he's warned that he will strike. So he gave it, which I thought was really interesting, he gave it a window. He gave it a time, a duration that it would take place from 8pm to 12 midnight. So we'll see how that plays out. I don't think any deal is going to be reached. I know that Axios and some other outlets had pushed out a report that there was a tentative deal that Iran was at the last second was looking to make. I don't get any, I don't have any verification on that. It's just what some of these outlets are reporting. But nevertheless, Terrence, today, today is the big story at the White House. Now, President Trump does not have anything publicly on his schedule today. He has some executive briefings, he's got some, just some closed door meetings. But there's nothing open to the press. And I think wisely so. I think you let this thing play out. Don't let any other narrative get pushed out there. Let's just see how the Iranians react to the deal. If not. I said this yesterday, Terrence. If I lived anywhere in Iran near a bridge, a power plant or a water desalination plant, I'd probably find somewhere else to go tonight.
David Brody
You know, Brian, let me just go there and get to the controversial stuff. Why not is what we do here. You've got Alex Jones and other folks on the far right calling for the 25th Amendment against this president, saying he is a madman, he's lost his mind. They sound like liberals, which is very interesting here. This is talk about strange bedfellows. I mean, there are literally calls on the far right, Tucker Carlson, very, very adamant about what in the world is President Trump doing here. He is literally calling for an extinction level event starting tonight. And to me, that is a big talk within MAGA world this morning.
Brian Glenn
Yeah, I just, it's interesting bring that up because I just got that interview that Alex Jones did with another individual. I don't remember his name, but talking about this, I haven't a chance to watch it. But I agree with you. I think that's a stretch. Look, I spent a lot of time with President Trump like a lot of people do here we see how this, this man treats people. We see how he acts. I saw him sit down with a bunch of kids coloring Easter eggs and talking to him and joking around.
David Zier
That's not.
Brian Glenn
It doesn't sound like a madman to me. I don't think he's insane. Matter of fact, I know he's not insane. You may not agree with what he's doing militarily and maybe his approach and maybe his, his communication in regards to that, but I think a stretch saying that he's insane or, you know, 25th amendment or anything like that, I, I just don't see that being applied here.
Dr. Gina
Totally, totally agree with you, Brian. But I just want to go close in just one step, a little closer. Some believe that some around him, some people take kind of a middle road where they. At least I'm seeing as I'm out there on Getter and X and some of the place in our chat, some people say, you know what, I trust Donald Trump implicitly. I'm not sure he's getting the best advice from some of those closest to him and that he's a bit isolated. What do you say to that?
Brian Glenn
Oh, yeah, I would agree with that. Because he, look, he listens to a lot of people like Lindsey Graham, who is 100% a war hawk, has been for a long time. And that's something that a lot of people in the base were necessarily supporting. And there is some merit to what you just said. He can't know everything about everything. I think we try to put too much. We try to think that President Trump knows everything about everything. He doesn't. So if he misses one issue or that has not the take that you want him to have on the issue, it's not because he chooses to do that. He may not even know about that. So that's a good point. And props to the Getter chat. Can I just at least getting that thing right?
David Brody
Can I just put an asterisk on that? I get that there's people around him telling him one thing, but let's be honest, Trump does what Trump wants to do, and he doesn't do it as much based. I mean, he does it, he takes intel in, but what he really does is he does it on gut instinct. It's all about gut instinct for Trump.
Brian Glenn
I agree.
David Brody
So you could have Lindsey Graham talking to him 24 7. That ain't gonna matter as much as his gut instinct will.
Dr. Gina
But if there are four or five Lindsey Grahams around him and that's the only people that get around him, that
Brian Glenn
Makes a difference or you get some influencers. I'm not gonna mention this individual, but when you have someone who constantly on social media is telling the president, you need to do this, or I called the president about this. I, I'm not going to mention names. I'm not going to give this.
David Brody
I know who you're talking.
Dr. Gina
I know who you're talking about, too.
Brian Glenn
But, but see, those people influence his decisions. I mean, I would.
Terrence
Well, they.
Brian Glenn
At least they allude they do. They may not influence the decisions, but they come off like they do. All right.
Dr. Gina
And I'm afraid sometimes that does influence him in ways that I kind of wish it didn't. I wish he had more voices around him who know him and love him. Yeah.
David Brody
All right, Brian, great to see you.
Terrence
Thanks.
Brian Glenn
Be all right, guys.
David Brody

8:00pm Eastern Time. Today is the deadline President Trump has set for Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz or face the demolition of power plants and bridges. The ultimatum comes as the Commander in Chief, along with the Secretary of War and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, praise the troops who took the historic mission on to rescue the crew of an F15 fighter jet that was shot down over Iran. We were expecting to hear more from the Pentagon this morning during a news conference. However, that news conference was canceled late Monday. Earlier in the day on Monday 47, clearly laying out what's going to happen if Iran doesn't do an about face.
President Donald Trump
We have a plan because of the power of our military, where every bridge in Iran will be decimated by 12 o' clock tomorrow night. Where every power plant in Iran will be out of business, burning, exploding, and never to be used again. I mean, complete demolition by 12 o'.
David Brody
Clock.
President Donald Trump
It will take them 100 years to rebuild right now. If we left today, it would take them 20 years to rebuild their country and it would never be as good as it was. And the only way they're going to be able to rebuild their country is to utilize the genius of the United States of America.
Terrence
Make sure to stay tuned to real America's Voice for updates throughout the day. In other headlines, the polls are now open in Georgia's 14th congressional district as MAGA candidate Clay Fuller looks to replace Marjorie Taylor Greene. Who gave up her seat at the beginning of the year. President Trump is endorsing Fuller, writing, I'm asking all Americans and Republicans, America first patriots and MAGA warriors to please get out and vote for a fantastic candidate, Clay Fuller, who has my complete and total endorsement. Fuller is facing Democrat Sean Harris in the race. The northwest Georgia district has traditionally been a conservative stronghold. House Republicans could use the reinforcements that Fuller is expected to bring if he's elected, particularly given the slim majority the GOP currently enjoys in the U.S. house. And finally in news, David Brody, just for you, you probably still having a bit of a cathartic moment about your experience at the White House Easter Egg Roll many years ago. The latest edition of the event is now in the books as the president and first lady host to thousands of kids on the White House lawn Monday during remarks kicking off the event, 47 pointing out that the price of eggs has dramatically decreased over the past two years.
President Donald Trump
Just last year, it's hard to believe they didn't want me to order eggs for the Easter Egg Roll, the Easter egg hunt that we have here every year. They wanted me to use plastic. I said, I'm not using plastic. We'll get it solved. And within a short period of time, eggs came down. They came down 40%, 50%. And by the time we got there, we had so many eggs we didn't know what to do with them. And today we have more than 40,000 eggs supplied by all of the great egg farmers that are with us.
Terrence
And while the president has won his war on the egg prices today, he's got more than eggs on his plate and he is fighting a much different war, that war being in Iran. That's a quick check of your headlines. Now let's get a quick check of your forecast. Weather Nation meteorologist Tracy Anthony standing by with more on what you can expect. Tracey, good morning.
Tracy Anthony
Hey, good morning, Terrence. We're really kind of easing into the week, so a little more active weather going on today than yesterday. And we're just going to continue to get more and more active. We've got a little snow working across the Northeast, so expecting to pick up a couple inches up there. Scenes like this out of Charlevoix, Michigan. Just a taste of blizzard like conditions even at times just gross. So definitely don't want to have to continue to deal with that. But we do have a little more snow that will work on through. Take you down though to Florida. That's kind of the next biggest story. We are going to be socked in with moisture here in Florida. And it looks like this heading into the office today. And we're expecting to pick up 5, 6 inches of rain and localized flooding will be possible, Terrence. So it's going to be pretty aggressive the next few days. So always check out the Weather Nation TV app for your latest updates.
Terrence
All right. And don't forget to log on to our various social media sites, be it getter, rumble, YouTube, let us know where you're hanging out. And you never know, Tracy might hook you up with the hometown forecaster. Tracey, we'll see you in our next hour.

Yep. That's all coming up.
Terrence
All right. Thanks so much, Tracey.
Hungarian Journalist
All right.

We're going to take a quick break. When we come back, President Trump turns up the pressure on Iran, pushing Tehran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. All of this is happening as cease fire talks are ongoing. The price of oil continues to spike and there are fears of a wider regional war. We'll talk about it after the break.

Why would they want you to blow

up their infrastructure to cut off their power?
Steve Gruber
Wouldn't that be punishing Iranians for the

actions of the regime?
President Donald Trump
They would be willing to. They would be willing. And it's suffering. They would be willing to suffer that in order to have freedom. The Iranians have we've had numerous intercepts. Please keep bombing. Bombs that are dropping near their homes. Please keep bombing. Do it. And these are people that are living where the bombs are exploding. And when we leave and we're not hitting those areas, they're saying, please come back, come back, come back. These are the people. I don't know what they do. All I can tell you is they want freedom.
David Brody
All right, let's bring in now retired Army Lt. Col. Darren Gob. Darren, thanks for being here. I'm just looking at this for the first time up on Truth Social this was literally posted 19 minutes ago by President Trump. And this is going to startle a lot of people. Here's what he says. A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don't want that to happen, but it probably will. However, now that we have complete and total regime change where different, smarter and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionary, wonderful can happen. Who knows? We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the world. 47 years of extortion, corruption and death will finally end. God bless the great people of Iran. A whole civilization will die tonight. Your reaction this morning. Good morning.
Retired Army Lt. Col. Darren Gobb
Yeah, tough words, Dave. You can take that a number of ways, of course, but certainly how would you take it?
David Brody
What do you mean, a couple of ways?
Retired Army Lt. Col. Darren Gobb
The dictatorship is what will end. And there's a chance for what we could call it Persian Sunrise. Maybe these people can have a chance at freedom, have a chance to see their country rebuild and be what it once was back in the early 70s, a thriving economic success with great amounts of freedom. And that's not an immediate switch. But I think Trump has realized that in order to get some of these folks to come around, he's got to level these kind of threats. And I think there's going to be a definite difference between his language to a point and what he might actually do on the, you know, that, that, like you said, it's new. We'll see what he says. But I think he's ultimately flipping the choice back onto the Iranian dictators and say, okay, the consequences and the results of what's come, what could be coming at this point, are up to you.
Terrence
So, Darren, look, the situation in Iran is very fluent, very fluid. Excuse me. A number of news organizations, including NBC News, reporting that the US has struck Carg Island. That happened overnight. This information to a source from within the administration saying that the military struck several military targets overnight. Your thoughts on all of this, particularly leading up to the President's promise that at 8pm If Iran doesn't do an about face or at least open the Strait of Hormuz, he was going to reign holy hell, my words, a bit more than his on Iran.
Retired Army Lt. Col. Darren Gobb
Yeah. To me, this seems like a bit of a warmup type of a thing. Like here's your message before the message and you know, we're going to, we're going to hit Carg Island. We've done it before, we've done it again now. And I've heard the word, you know, the number Being into the dozens of targets hit on Carg island itself. What's critical is that you don't see any movement yet towards occupation of that island by land, any kind of land forces. And I certainly hope that doesn't happen. It isn't necessary. There's other ways to address it. But to me, this, this is kind of like the early warning before the 8pm Eastern tonight saying we're capable, we're willing, and this is proof that we're going to. And this is the type of structure we're looking. The good thing is that it's as reported, military targets only and not the petroleum infrastructure that could be critical to a future Iran's economy as well.
Dr. Gina
I'm hearing for really the first time from friends and families of mine in particular in the Midwest, but also here in Florida who are being hit really hard with the cost of this war that's becoming a reality in America right now. For your average American citizen, what do you think their pain tolerance level is here?
Retired Army Lt. Col. Darren Gobb
Well, I think for those people with a sort of a long range vision of what could happen here, there's more tolerance than there are for others. Now, that's not being unsympathetic to those who economically feel the pain of the cost of increased fuel prices. That I think will also be temporary versus long term. And there's no denying that there is a real cost. But sometimes there is a, there is a real cost to doing the right thing. And if people understood completely the full history of what Iran stands for, what it is, what it wants to do and how it functions as a proxy, frankly, for Russia and China against us, they would grasp that threat better and understand just exactly what Iran wants to do to the United States if they got the freedom to do so. You look at things like the cartels and you look at Venezuela, you look at what Hamas and Hezbollah and those organization doing in the islands north of Venezuela, as well as planting terror shells in the United States, these are just known things that are small tastes of what Iran has overall been trying to do as a proxy of larger powers themselves. If that's understood, I think our pain tolerance goes up. But I certainly understand those who feel the pain now in the immediate also.
David Brody
Yeah, retired Army Lt. Col. Darren Gobb, thanks for being here. And if you don't mind, to quote the 1990s, have your pager on standby because we may need you back stat the way this is going. Thanks for being here.
Terrence
Thanks, Indicru.

I hope you recognize that if you need my help identifying that, we're in a lot more trouble than I thought. Thank you for joining us. Time now for today's health news. It is sponsored by the wellness company under the Microscope Today, Nicotine exposure in young children shifting with vaping now becoming more popular. A new study analyzing over 92,000 cases found exposure from traditional tobacco dropped 43% but vape related cases surged 243%. Experts warn kids are not just ingesting nicotine, sometimes in high doses, but also inhaling it by copying adults. Researchers say current safety measures are not enough and call for stronger regulations on those devices. I want to remind you that all of the evidence is pointing strongly to the fact that nicotine is solving a lot of problems, in particular neurological issues. They're using it as intervention on Alzheimer's, on Parkinson's, and they're saying that it sharpens brain and it increases brain clarity and may even have other health benefits beyond that, but not for children, but for adults. Contact your holistic doctor for more information on that, your functional medical practitioner. The Trump administration has brought a lot of positive changes when it comes to fixing our broken health care system. But we're starting to realize there's only so much government can do. David Brody
Yes, you did. I have not. You know, I've never had a cigar in my life.
Dr. Gina
Well, I might have to change that for you. Now that they're healthy and all right.
David Brody
Now that they're healthy, that may make a difference.
Dr. Gina
At least that's what the studies say. So I'm all in.

Let's talk about boy, all these developing stories this morning. First of all, President Trump is defending his use of colorful language from his warning to Iran on reopening the Strait of Hormuz. First, take a look at this, at the press yesterday.
Terrence
Yesterday, in your truth social, you called the Iranians crazy bastards.
Pastor Jesse Bradley
True.

What is your response to critics who say that.
President Donald Trump
I don't care about critics.
Terrence
What is your response to critics who say that it is your mental health that should perhaps be examined as this war continues?
President Donald Trump
I haven't heard that. But if that's the case, you're going to have to have more people like me because our country was being ripped off on trade, on everything for many years until I came along.
David Brody
All right. Let's bring in the host. Excuse me, a breaking point here on rad. That would be David Zier. He is at the White House this morning. David, my goodness, if there's a place to be right now in America, the White House is where the action's at. The president putting up on truth Social. David, as you know, just a few minutes ago, quote, a whole. There it is. We'll put it up on the screen. A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. Period end. He puts there. It's period end. I don't want that to happen, but it probably will. And then he goes on, now we've got Carg island being bombed. This seems to be the precursor to 8pm Eastern tonight. Your reaction this morning from the White House.
David Zier
Yeah, good morning, David Brody. I was supposed to Be at the Pentagon this morning for the press briefing. It was canceled. Maybe they thought it was redundant after yesterday's briefing. Maybe there'll be one tomorrow. We'll keep you posted on that. But I was in that press briefing yesterday watching what was going on. Incredible words from the President. You know, if I, if I was going to write something, I'd probably say something more like, let's return to the, you know, ages of the 4000 year old Persian, you know, civilizations, as opposed to the radical Islamic regime that's in there right now. I guess that could be taken a lot of ways, what he said. But he's not playing games, that's for sure.
Dr. Gina
What's the mood there, David? As you're there, what are you hearing from other reporters? What are you hearing from staffers? What's generally the mood? Because this is, I mean, is there any way not to call this an expansion?
David Zier
The briefing was jam packed yesterday. I'm not here as much as Brian, Glenn and Benny, but there was no room in that briefing room. I've never seen so much media. Not only was the Easter Egg Roll going on, but that you could hear some dissension among the reporters in the room, you know, make peace, great. Again, one of them shouted out other people questioning Trump's mental, you know, capabilities. And, you know, you don't see any
Dr. Gina
truth to that, do you? I think that's a ridiculous, you know, side item. Yeah, I don't see it either.
David Zier
No, it's absolutely insane.
Dr. Gina
I mean,
Terrence
yeah.
David Zier
Dr. Gin, I would just add, you know, not only did he spend like an hour talking to the media at the Easter Egg Roll, according to Brian yesterday, but then he took what, 20, 30 questions in the briefing. I don't recall a president in history that's not only able to do that, but that actually took the time. I thought yesterday was really great performance by President, President Trump. But again, I did see concern, like I felt like he was concerned, you know, maybe not getting the cooperation they thought they were going to get. There's no doubt that the mission in the Department of War side of things is resolute and our intelligence and our military prowess is a one. But, you know, I sense some concern for Trump that, you know, he's concerned that, listen, these guys, you know, they're going to really pay the price if they don't cooperate. We'll see where this goes.
David Brody
David Zier, clearly, I think all three of us can agree that he doesn't want to do this. I mean, he's not a warmonger. I mean, he's not Lindsey Graham. You might be hearing from Lindsey Graham, but he's not Lindsey Graham. He doesn't want to do this, but he's got the, you know what the Cohanes to do it. And so this is where it gets messy, especially for maga, or at least the America first crowd, which I think is a subset of maga. That's what I've believed all along, which is you support this president, but he's about to do something that you probably in your gut, don't agree with, but you also want him to finish the job. So I think there's a lot of conflict going on right now in America First Land. Your reaction to that? And one other thing, the power plants. He keeps talking about the power plants. Well, if they're tied to military infrastructure, fine. Or there's a military tie in, great. But if they are not, then we're talking something completely different. And this White House is going to open themselves up to humanitarian disaster issues as it relates to war crimes. And that narrative,
David Zier
I think there's a potential for that. But I don't think everything is as bad as people are making it out to be. I understand that at least 15 ships a day are starting to cross the Strait of Hormuz. There's a little bit of traffic. It's only about 15% of what it was. But these other Middle Eastern countries are lining up to help the United States. Oil Production is down 70% in Iraq. Petrochemicals, rubber, plastic products. Worldwide supply chain are really getting hammered right now. I think you're going to see countries stepping up. I think you're going to see Europe step up this upcoming week. I don't want to see the civilian population suffer over there. But, you know, if he has got to destroy the power plants to get the infrastructure down so there can be, you know, more cooperation many levels deep within in the Iran leadership. It's a necessary evil, unfortunately. But listen, these guys have been super radical. For Trump to throw out some words there over the last couple of weeks isn't nearly as bad as what the Iranian mullahs have been doing and saying for almost 50 years.
David Brody
Well, that's true.
Dr. Gina
David's here. Appreciate your time. Keep your ear to the ground for us. All righty. All right. More American Sunrise after the break. Thanks, David.
Terrence
Welcome back to American Sunrise on this Tuesday morning. We appreciate you being here with us. It's time to stay awake, not woken. We are continuing our breaking news coverage of the reported US Bombings on Carg island overnight. We're hearing that military targets and not oil infrastructure were targeted in those attacks. In the meantime, President Trump is urging Iran to make a deal before 8pm Eastern, or else, quote, a whole civilization, civilization will be wiped out tonight. That message coming from the Commander in chief on Truth Social just in the last 38 minutes or so. President Trump also saying he didn't want that to happen, apparently holding out hope for diplomacy and a peaceful resolution. Let's bring in Dr. Gina and David to discuss further. Again, diplomacy or a peaceful resolution appears to be what President Trump's preference would be. Dr. Gina But I'm not so sure any reasonable person believes that, that Iran is going to be diplomatic or indulge the president when it comes to a peaceful solution.
Dr. Gina
I mean, of course it is. President Trump wants a legacy of having been the president of peace. He said that many times. So I believe that he wants a peaceful resolution as well. I cannot say enough about how impressive and surgical our military has been. I mean, just, I am so blown away, impressed. And I think a lot of that credit goes to that leadership as well. But I think it is a super complicated thing to accomplish the goals that are necessary for the people to really take Iran back. And I think perhaps some of that was, you know, idealistically, I won't say overlooked, but I think they hoped it would go a little differently and that Iran, once they killed off the main leaders, that things would fold a little more quickly. David, I don't know. What's your analysis?
David Brody
Well, I didn't think they were ever going to fold. I mean, this is a death cult. We've talked about it. I mean, they're going to fight to the death. And by the way, they think in death they have victory. This is the problem. It's inverse. And so this is why all of this is happening. If you have a normal enemy, they're not normal. This is not normal warfare. And I think people need to understand that this is not your conventional war. Like, okay, we're going to negotiate and everybody's going to kind of come to the table. No, that's not what they want. They want death. They want death. Don't take my word for it. Take their word for it. I know I'm getting riled up a little bit, but this is true. This is true. This is radical Islam. And as Robert Spencer, who's been on our show before, said, it's not radical Islam. It is Islam. And I've got a few more things to say. Can I just quickly just go through this? Thank you very Much.
Terrence
Go ahead.
David Brody
I appreciate it. Look, here's the thing. I think this is all a head fake. I think this 8pm eastern thing is a bunch of, you know what? Hooey. I think the President and part of the art of the deal has done it yet again. Carg Island. The bombing has started. When you get a 13 hour head start, that's called smart. I think that's exactly what they're doing here. So there's 8pm Eastern. I'm not saying it won't ratchet up at 8pm Eastern, but I think we're already starting to see. I think we're in breaking news coverage right now. I think this is happening as we speak, and I think it's just gonna get worse. T. Bates.
Terrence
No, I just wanted to point out, to your point, this is the last line of the President's Truth Social post from about 40 minutes ago. He says 40 years of extortion, corruption and death will finally end. The President is punctuating all of this. This is why I'm doing it.
President Donald Trump
Yeah.
Terrence
He's laid out the objectives. But I think that last line really punctuates what this is all about.
David Brody
Yeah, I mean, I think so. I think that's what it's been about. I also believe that this ultimately is about regime change, even though they'll never say it's about regime change. I get it, but you can't have the same crazies. I mean, you know, the Ayatollah was like, you know what? Crazy. And now they got someone that's kind of, you know what? Crazy. But he's still crazy. They're all crazy over there, so. And I've always said it's whack a mole. So until you actually have a Reza Pahlavi, or you have. Or you have someone that's a little bit more sane over there, nothing will change. Nothing will change over there. I'm telling you, and I want to
Dr. Gina
punctuate disgusting, that they have younger relatives here in the United States, studying at our universities, working in our society, saying, death to America. And these are the young relatives of some of the worst Islamist terrorists from Iran who have killed the most people and are responsible for American deaths. What in the heck are we doing, America, that these young girls are in our country saying death to America on our own soil? That get them out.
David Brody
Yeah. And by the way, Rubio and the State Department just announced. What was it in the last 24 to 48 hours that they actually deported Soleimani. Remember, Soleimani was killed. His relatives are living here in the United States. What the heck? Any alcohol?
Dr. Gina
Did they deport them all?
David Brody
Yeah. Yeah. Well, yeah.
Dr. Gina
They should have never been here. What is wrong with people? How did that happen? I'm just mind blown.
Terrence
Yeah.
David Brody
By the way, one of those guys, I just want to say JD Vance said, I'm sorry there's so much going on, but J.D. vance just said from the podium in Hungary, of course, we took it at the top of the show. He said someone asked him to comment about the war in Iran or, excuse me, the military conflict. My bad, the military conflict in Iran. And he said, I have a text message from Steve Witkoff here on my phone, but I haven't read it yet, so I can't get back to you right now. I'll have to read my text first. Yeah, maybe he should read the text because things are happening right now.
Terrence
As I was going to say, this is an ongoing and developing story. As you said, we technically are in breaking news coverage right now as there's so many details continuing to come out. Make sure you keep it right here on Real America's Voice for the very latest on the situation that's unfolding in Iran. Also coming up, though, the Trump administration says new guidance is is coming on how the Johnson Amendment applies to religious organizations. It reopens a fight over campaign speech, religious liberty and the church state line. That's next.
David Brody
God Bless the USA in the beginning,
Steve Gruber
God created the heaven and the earth.
Terrence
Welcome back to American Sunrise. It's now time for our moment of faith, brought to us by Lee Greenwood and the God Bless the USA Bible. Earlier in the show, we missed our Bible verse, so we want to share it with you now. It comes from Isaiah. It reads, but now, O Lord, you are our father, we are the clay, and you our potter and all, we are the work of your hand. Amen. In focus today, the Treasury Department and IRS say they plan to issue new guidance on how the Johnson Amendment applies to religious organizations. Officials say it's going to address certain communications during religious services with stakeholder input. And the timing will be determined later this year. Let's bring in pastor, speaker, author and former professional soccer player and a good friend of mine because of that, Jesse Bradley. Jesse, bless you, my friend. Good to see you.
Pastor Jesse Bradley
Terrence, great to be with you today. Thank you.
Terrence
Absolutely. So how exciting is the potential of change or at least the discussion, if you will, of the Johnson Amendment, particularly for you as a pastor?
Pastor Jesse Bradley
They're important decisions, Terrence. You know, on the one hand, religious organizations can't financially support an individual candidate. But on the flip side, we can educate and we can discuss policies. And right now, what you're seeing is instead of compartmentalization, there's actually a lot of overlap between the spiritual, the moral, and the political. And there's some politicians that are even presenting the gospel clearer than in some churches. But we need to be aware of the scriptures, we need to pray for our leaders, and then we need to make sure that policies line up with scripture because ultimately there's a link there. Politics is governing, it's stewardship. And those policies come from principles. But principles are also linked to principalities, which means there's a spiritual war between light and darkness. Jesus said, the truth will set you free. And the policies we have for the land are important, but ultimately politics can't save. It's a mistake to say they're not important. We need to be involved. But on the flip side, Jesus saves. And we know that Jesus said to leaders who are moral, you must be born again. So still the message is the gospel. Jesus died for our sins. He's risen. It's his love that changes hearts. But the laws of the land are important. We're so thankful for the religious freedoms we have in America, and we need to guard those.
Terrence
And what I'm hearing from you, Pastor, is that when you root policies in biblical truth, then you really won't go wrong anyway.
Pastor Jesse Bradley
That's right. Honor God. And we know God's word is truth. And it's a mistake to reject God, to reject the Bible. And when we have a solid foundation spiritually, then we make good moral decisions. When you make good moral decisions, that leads to good politics. And politicians, and ultimately politicians are there to serve, to bring out the best in the country. They're there to protect as well. And the church is a place where you can encourage people to be faithful in their calling. And some are called to be vocational politicians. Other are called, you know, obviously voting, praying for leaders. There's going to be a range. But what we need to know is that without God, see, Jesus said, abide with me, you'll bear much fruit. And we can't separate politics from a relationship with God. Jesus is at the center of our lives, our homes. Jesus is at the center. And when we reject God, you see it throughout Scripture. When you push away God and you go into idolatry, then there's immorality, corruption, hypocrisy. So Jesus is our life. He's the way, the truth, and the life. And right now our nation needs Jesus. And when we reject him. We're going to have a breakdown of family. We're going to have a breakdown of culture. So return to God with all your heart. God loves you. This is grace. You can't achieve the relationship, receive it. But what we just celebrated in Easter is the victory that Jesus has. Eternal life, forgiveness of sins. It's found in the Lord. And there's no substitute. Nothing created can take the place of our Creator.
Terrence
Amen. Pastor, always good to see you. Always good to hear your thoughts. Appreciate you being here with us this morning.
Pastor Jesse Bradley
Hey, we're praising God together, Terrence.
Terrence
Amen. Amen. Good to see you, my friend. We'll talk soon.
Pastor Jesse Bradley
Sounds great.
Terrence
All right. We're back with the second hour of American Sunrise. After this,
Rachel Holt
Keep on shooting. And listen if it makes you feel strong. Maybe one day you'll get a taste of yours.
David Brody
Good morning, America.
Dr. Gina
Welcome to American Sunrise. Whether it's culture, we have breaking news to share with you.
Terrence
Politics.
David Brody
President Trump is joining us live now from Florida.
Terrence
We've got you covered.
David Brody
This is what it looks like to be a patriot.
Terrence
We have to protect the American family.
Dr. Gina
The American dream is still alive.
David Brody
I'm David Brody.
Terrence
I'm terrence.
Dr. Gina
And I'm Dr. Gina.
Real America's Voice Announcer
Breaking news from Real America's Voice.
David Brody
All right, welcome back to the second hour of American Sunrise, everybody. I'm David brody. I'm in D.C. we've got some breaking news. Obviously, this show didn't start out as breaking news, but we sure are in it now. We've got reported bombings on Carg Island. Reports say military targets, not oil infrastructure, were targeted. We're monitoring that right now. President Trump urging Iran to make a deal. Or as he posted on Truth Social, there it is. Wow. He says, quote, a whole civilization will be wiped out tonight. Let's bring in Dr. G in West Palm T. Bates in our Denver newsroom. Dr. G. My goodness. This is. It's here.
Dr. Gina
Yeah. We just need to pray hard for our military troops right now and their families. I can't even imagine. You know, it's one thing to be an American and hear this kind of thing. It's another thing to be the wife, the son, the daughter, the mother of our military age. I mean, I just remember when my son left for military school, I was just terrified every single day. I lived in utter terror. And it was just military school. It was high school, wasn't even. But I just knew things could happen. And I'd seen too many movies or something, but it was bad. It was really bad. And ultimately we ended up having to Take him out of there. But, you know, to be a military relative right now and to read a text like that. A text, Gina, to read a truth post like that has got to just sink your heart. My heart is just really with them right now. And I just, I hope that everyone will pause today and pray for them as often as you can, for sure.
Terrence
You know, this truth social that we're looking at right here really has a lot of elements. I just want to point out. One, the president saying now that we have complete and total regime change, we're different, smarter and less radicalized minds prevail. Maybe something revolutionary wonderful can happen. Obviously, there's been talk about. Oh, I'm sorry.
David Brody
No, keep going. I'm sorry, I jumped the gun. Go ahead.
Terrence
Oh, I was just going to say it's clear that this is going in a different direction, or at least the president wants a different direction. Did you disagree with that? I heard you say no, you're thoughts. And then I want to bring in John Solomon, but go ahead, David. I'll give you the last word if you don't.
David Brody
I said no to the smarter minds. He's saying smarter minds. Hey, if they're smarter minds, why in the world are they not making a deal? That to me is dumb. So don't give me smarter minds. These people are bad and they're crazy and they're stupid. Let's bring in John Solomon to get his reaction to what's going on. John? I mean, so much for the APM Eastern deadline. I'm sure it's going to get a whole lot worse then. But we're already into car, and my guess is is that I wouldn't be surprised if they're doing some aerial bombings of Carg island to pave the way for ground troops onto Carg Island. We'll see.
John Solomon
Yeah, I think everything is on the table, including a potential peace deal. So I want to point everybody to a couple things that happened in the last hour. The Iranian ambassador to Pakistan, which is where one of the intermediary countries has been helping the US Negotiate, sounded very optimistic, saying there's a lot of goodwill at the table right now. We're entering a critical few hours of negotiations. But that coupled with the back end of Donald Trump's true social posts. All right, so the front end is the classic Donald Trump. You're going to pay a dear price. And I mean, we're going to bring hell on you guys when we attack tonight. But the backside left open for negotiation. I think there are some very substantive negotiations going on the battle is not between the civilian leadership and the United States. It's between the IRGC and the civilians in Iran. I think the Iranian civilian leadership has had enough of this bombardment. I think they'd like a break. I think they'd like a deal. I don't think the IRGC is in the same mindset. And of course, the IRGC got terribly embarrassed over the weekend. They're supposed to be the feared army of Iran. They couldn't even capture a pilot who was on the ground for two days. We completely embarrassed them. So they're trying to save face. So within the Iranian regime, there is a current tension. You can see it playing out in public and behind the scenes. But I think President Trump is going to keep all options on the table. Leveling a car guy in today makes it more possible to send troops here if you want to take the island. I don't think that's his first preference at all. But I do think he has optionality there, bombarding everything in Iran with a barrage that we haven't seen maybe since the first Gulf War. That level of intensity is also on the table and there are intermediary options in between. But I do think all of the very strong language at the front end of President Trump's true social post needs to be read with those last couple sentences that Terrence just pointed out. Now, there are some significant negotiations. Now, can we trust the Iranians? Well, that's a big question. 47 years of history says no. Right? 47 years of history says no. But this is a different Iran. It has been bombarded into an extraordinary humility and it doesn't have the capabilities anymore that it had when it would enter into negotiations with an Obama and then keep building the nuclear program. It is pretty much a significant amount of rubble. And I think that changes the dynamic in a way that prior Iran negotiations have. Again, trust but verify will be important. I do think right now the problem is Iranians can't agree with each other. The IRGC wants to fight on. The civilians are starting to show some sign they've had enough of this destruction.
Dr. Gina
John, what are the chances that a lot of this language that we're all reacting to right now is really sort of a psyops that President Trump is pulling on Iranian leadership? That's my first question. The second part of my question is how do the occurrences of the last 24, 48 hours change the trajectory and maybe the projection of the war overall?
John Solomon
Boy, those are two really great questions. Let's start with the first question. 1,000%. There are PSYOPS going on in President Trump. He's always doing that. Look at the. Look at the illusion we created over the weekend where we had the Iranians thinking the pilot was in another area. The CIA created an entire ruse so we could go get the guy where he was. We're constantly playing psychological operations games with Iran. But those psychological operations only work if the Iranians believe that Donald Trump's going to deliver. And I think this morning the bombardment of Cargill, which was pretty substantial, it was a warning sign that he does intend to bring hell if they don't get a deal. So there is psychological operations, but Donald Trump will probably deliver on what he says if the negotiations don't go the way he expects. He did it last summer on the nuclear program, and he did it in February with the start of the war. He's not going to tolerate cat and mouse silliness in the negotiations. It's got to be a substantial deal, or I think he will blow Iran into the Stone Ages, as he has said. There'll be a really powerful attack. So it works. The psyops works because the President
David Brody
is
John Solomon
willing to back it up and has shown in the last three military operations against Iran. He's willing to take the big shot, killed Soleimani in 2020, took out the nuclear program in 2025, launched a massive effort to degrade Iran in 2026. Now, on the second part, I think the most important thing that happened in the last 48 hours, not the negotiations, not the Cargill violin, not the normal stuff, it's the fact that the IRGC failed in capturing a pilot when they had 48 hours to get the guy. Now, that's a great story about our pilot, about our training, about our special ops. But within Iran, where that tension is ongoing right now that the IRGC wants to fight on, the civilians are thinking about a deal. IRGC lost a lot of street cred. They could not deliver a very simple victory for the Iranian people. And I don't think that should be lost in that internal strife that's going on. One sign of that, as soon as the pilot was captured, what did the Iranians do? They executed a few more innocent civilians. That's their way of saying, all right, we know we lost some face. We're still going to scare you. So I think the. The rescue of the pilot and the failure of IRGC to be the tough guys they make themselves out to be could be a very important dynamic we're not considering here in America.
Terrence
Hey, John, let Me put the cart before the mule just a little bit right now, yesterday, President Trump basically, that if in fact he goes through with bombing the bridges and the infrastructure there in Iran, it's going to take him 100 years to rebuild. But what I found interesting is that he said, and then it's going to be on the United States basically, to help rebuild it, to fund it and use our innovation. That's where my question comes in. While it's probably the reality of it, is there an appetite here in the United States to rebuild Iran? And more importantly, if in fact we are invested, and I use that word purposely, in rebuilding Iran, then I would imagine we're going to want to install a leadership there. There's, there's going to be an appetite to ensure that the leadership is, is a cordial leadership for the United States.
John Solomon
Yeah, it's going to look something like Venezuela, probably not as, hey, we're going to pick your next president, but we're going to create an interim leader and we're going to make sure that there's a free and fair election in Iran. Then the Iranian people will pick their next leader. I think that would be the transition. When the President says we'll rebuild Iran, he means American companies will do it. But what he's not telling it is that he expects the Arab Sunni neighbors to write the checks for that, which, by the way, they're probably more than willing to do. One of the most important dynamics of the last month is when the President started this operation in late February, the Arab Sunni neighbors were a little nervous. They were not all in. Over the last six weeks, they have become completely dug. In fact, fact, they're pushing the president go all the way, take out this regime. They're more dug in than the United States. The United States is more pragmatic about a deal. The Arab Sunni nations are more like Israel. They want to finish this job. That's a dynamic that Iran created for itself by attacking innocent Arab states when they weren't part of the military operation. They actually made their situation worse in the, in the theater. And I think that's another negotiating pressure point that Donald Trump has on his side of the equation.
David Brody
John Solomon, appreciate it. By the way, some new footage coming in that is from Clark island that just into us here. Also just in. We gotta run to break. But Marjorie Taylor Greene has come out with this in reaction to the whole civilization will die tonight post. She has said this 25th amendment in all caps with three exclamation points. Not a single bomb has dropped on America, we cannot kill an entire civilization. This is evil and madness. This is a subplot inside America First. Alex Jones has also come out and said 25th Amendment. So we'll follow this as well. John, thank you so much for being here.
Terrence
Thanks, Jonathan.
John Solomon
Guys.
David Brody
Okay, we are back in a moment. More American Sunrise after the break.
Rachel Holt
On a suicide mission.
David Brody
All right, welcome back, everybody, to American Sunrise. We are monitoring what's going on with the breaking news regarding Cark Island. We'll get back to that momentarily. Time now to drain the swamp. This morning, we're flushing out California Congressman Eric Swalwell. Swalwell, who's also running for governor in California, is now backing off his transparency push after the administration threatened to release files on China's interference in U.S. politics. Files, by the way, that may include Swalwell's interactions with a suspected Chinese spy. The president has not released any new documents yet, but his allies say the material could include communications and intelligence related details that would shed light on those connections and how they were handled. We want to know what you think. We're not really too interested in what Eric Swalwell thinks, but let us know on Rumble and Get or hop on and let your voice be heard. All right. Still to come here on American Sunrise, the possibility of deep blue California electing a Republican for governor for the first time in two decades. Well, that actually could happen. We're going to break down the latest when we come comeback.

Welcome back. We're getting ready for the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. It's set to ring here in about six minutes. Expect a topsy turvy day given the happenings in Iran right now. Here's a look at the futures market. As you can see, red pretty much from top to bottom. Crude oil is the only bright spot and, and when you say bright spot, it's the only thing that's up right now. It's probably not a good thing for your oil prices and gas prices. We'll continue to monitor all of this for you though. And we'll take it to New York for the opening bell at the stock exchange here in short order. First though, let's get you over to Dr. Gina and Dr. Gina, I completely random thought. I was just thinking before we came here, at some point, at some point in time, Dr. G is going to invite me to her house. Should I bring you a bottle of wine or should I bring you beer? I believe probably beer would be your preference. But let me ask now so I can be prepared.
Dr. Gina
Yes, I like Yuengling Flight beer. Thank you for asking. I also like stag, but you can't even buy stag anywhere except the Midwest. So. So I won't put that on you. Red in our audience knows how to get stag and keeps me supplied on that. But, yeah, I can't drink wine. I'm allergic to it. I'm allergic to most liquor. So it turns me into a beer girl. And that's just fine with me. It's my roots.
Terrence
Yingling flight noted. Gotcha.
Dr. Gina
Gotcha. All right, thanks, Terrence. All right. President Donald Trump's endorsement of Steve Hilton in California isn't just one about race. According to the endorsement is designed to boost turnout in a state where Republicans have struggled to compete statewide and enshrined voter ID requirements. Hilton is a former Fox News host, conservative commentator, little known news. I actually helped him build his show on Fox News, if you can believe it. He is positioning himself as an outsider, focusing on crime, cost of living, and government accountability. And these are issues that the GOP hopes will resonate with frustrated voters. The calculation, even if a GOP win in California is a long shot, higher turnout could have down ballot impact, you see, and help Republicans narrow the gap. Joining me now to discuss more is the former chairman of the California Republican Party and current chairman of Californians for Election Fairness, Tom Del Becaro. Tom, we've had lots of good times together. I used to live in California. For those of you who don't know why I'm speaking so familiarly. Is that a word? It is now about California, but I have to sit up really, really straight to interview you, Tom, because I need a pillow for these interviews and I always forget. But, Tom, you know, this is something that you and I have been talking about. I don't want to say how long, but let's just say long. And you know, every election we get so hopeful. We put money and time, we go door to door, we do all the things for all the California Republicans and then they lose, especially presidential candidates. But here's the funky thing. Maga's in a funky place right now. We just lost a Trump endorsed candidate in Florida who was a good candidate, an amazing man, happened to be a black man, which I thought might play to parts of Palm beach that are black. And we lost it. And I just, I was shocked by that. And it made me think, what does a Trump endorsement mean in California? How are they perceiving this whole war thing and this whole America first split? And how much hope do you give Steve Hilton?
Tom Del Becaro
Well, you know, California has this terrible system of the top two. And what that is for Americans who don't think California is no longer part of America is the top two finishers, regardless of party Go on to November. And that has resulted in many Democrats on Democrats statewide races, which hurts the down ballot candidates and discourages Republicans. You talk about being discouraged, but California is bottoming out. You saw Prop 36 was the a little tougher on crime, get 77% of the vote and now voter ID is on the ballot and it's polling in the high 70s. The Democrats will attack it, but right now it's going to be on the November ballot, it looks like it. And it polls well. That has to pass if California is going to turn around ever. And so this election matters because we have to get maximum turnout. And without someone at the top of the ticket, a statewide candidate for governor, Republican turnout lags. The top of the ticket drives turnout. And so that's why this is so important. And if I think I wrote in the New York Post, California Post yesterday that this will ensure that Hilton gets in the top two. What a lot of pundits are missing and that you and I know about is you can say whatever you want in January, February, March about Republicans. The unions come in heavy in April and May and put their candidates in place and wipe the Republicans out. So it is a fantasy in my view, that two Republicans who are leading now because there's eight Democrats are going to remain in the top two slots. We have to play this wisely. We have to get voter id. And so what this endorsement does is tell Republicans this is the guy to put in the top two, have someone there on the ballot, get voter ID and begin the turnaround.
Dr. Gina
It's fascinating because it really is a numbers game in California. It's very different from any place else in the country. People don't understand. What you said about the unions is so true. That's why my husband and I had to leave the state, because the governor wrote two bills to make my husband's job illegal, which was rooting out the exact corruption you're talking about with the unions taking money from non competitively bid jobs that the politicians gave them so that the union bosses could all support those same politicians and control every single election. And that hasn't changed.
Tom Del Becaro
No, they literally use taxpayer money. Right, because they're paid teachers, unions, all these are paid by taxpayers and then spend it to elect themselves and elect their politicians to get raises. That's why California continues to lose people. So where does the turnaround start? It has to start with voting. You and I both know that not only the top two, but the fact that every, it seems every year four or five hundred thousand more ballots go out than actual.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, I still get my Kelly ballot, Tom. I could vote there if I wanted to.
Tom Del Becaro
Please do.
Dr. Gina
Congratulations to you on the expansion of your beautiful family and hope that you had a blessed Easter and we're so blessed to have you in studio today. Thanks for coming.

We're less than a minute away from the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. The applause is already underway. You hear it, you'll see it momentarily. And then this will be followed up by the opening bell. And then we'll get an idea of where the markets are as we open this Tuesday of trading again. It's likely going to be an up and down day on the stock markets, particularly given the news of what's happening in Iran. All right, here we go, ladies and gentlemen. Here's a quick look at our big board. As you can see, increasingly red. The dow S&P 500 and the NASDAQ all down at the moment, really only two bright spots on our board. A lot of this is likely going to be attributable to the ongoing situation in Iran and President Trump's deadline for Iran to act or otherwise face another attack. We're hearing overnight. There have already been some attacks on Carg island, specifically military targets on that island. And so that's likely impacting what you see here on our board and the markets in general. When the dollar's convertibility into gold ended in 1971, gold was fixed at $35 an ounce. Fast forward to today and the US dollar has lost over 85% of its purchasing power. Gold, on the other hand, has increased in value by over 12,000%. And that's why central banks are are buying gold at record levels. It's also why major firms like Vanguard and BlackRock are holding significant positions in gold. And it's why you are encouraged to consider diversifying your savings with physical gold from the Birch Gold Group. It all starts with education, though. Dr. Gina
Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. G. Thanks for joining us this morning. We invite you to hop in our conversation on Getter, YouTube and Rumble. It's time now to take the political pulse of America. Here's the beat today. Democrats are seeing a surge of momentum heading into midterms with new numbers showing a record breaking boost in fundraising and engagement. According to new reporting, Democrat candidates and committees have ranked in massive donations rather raked in massive donations outpacing previous cycles and signaling high energy among voters as key battles approach. The fundraising spike comes as the party looks to capitalize on recent special election wins and growing focus on issues like abortion, health care, cost of living, not even to mention the war. Republicans, however, argue that money doesn't always translate to votes and say the real test will come on election day. Joining us now with analysis, the host of America's Voice Live and the Steve Gruber show, so aptly named Steve Gruber. Good morning.
Steve Gruber
Good morning.
Dr. Gina
All right, go ahead, Steve. You just comment. You don't need me to explain this any further. You know exactly where I'm going with this.
Steve Gruber
Well, you know, I was just listening to the, to the, to the funding look, the, the Democratic National Committee, last time I looked, was broke. They didn't have any money. They were in the red. Did I miss something here? And they suddenly got fully flush. I don't think that happened. The rnc. Look, it's harder when you've got a herd of cats, which is usually what the Republicans are more so than the Democrats. It's hard to raise money because you got to go to this cat over here and this cat over here, this cat over here. Look, funding will be fine. I'm looking at figures coming out of places like CNN showing just how unpopular Democrats are. Even Democrat leadership inside their own party, -4. I mean, they're in the deficit. So look, this idea, and I keep saying this, Democrats want to run their victory lap here in April. They've been trying to run it since February, March, April, and I think they're a bit ahead of schedule. Just like we saw in March Madness. You don't want to peak until the very end. You want to peak when you're just coming into September, October, November. Peaking in April is pretty pointless. It's like peaking in basketball in December. Who cares, right? I mean, so Democrats, you know what? Let them think they're winning big. Let them think that their numbers are abysmal, members of Congress and the Democrats are less popular than Republicans. Let's just go with it. And honestly, I still am of the mindset that this whole conflict in Iran will be wrapped up fairly soon, which means oil prices will come back down, which means by the time we get to August, September, early voting, gas prices will have stabilized back where they belong. Because this is nothing more than fear mongering anyway at the gas pump. So things will be back where they belong. You look at the jobs numbers, the inflation numbers, the investment in America numbers, I feel pretty good about it. Still. We're a long way from being there.
David Brody
Steve. The breaking news, we've got Carg island being attacked, bombed, getting reports now that Israel is bombing bridges now in Iran. So this thing has started and there's the tweet that everybody's talking about. The tweet, whatever it is, the truth, social post, we don't need to read the whole thing. But I'll read the first part, which is what's making the waves. A whole civil civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. He goes on and says he doesn't want it to happen, but it might probably will. Steve, Look, I get it's Trump. I get its bravado. I get it's all part of the Art of the deal. I get all that stuff.
Rachel Holt
Stuff.
David Brody
But words matter. Civilization. He didn't say Iranian regime. He said civilization. A whole civilization. Now we can parse it and say ah. What he really meant, he said whole civilization. Your reaction?
Steve Gruber
Well, my reaction is this. I'll continue to watch what actually happens. I'll skip the rhetoric and see what the results are. And the fact of the matter is that you've got the entire left structure. They talk about what they stand for. They don't stand for anything except being a guest against Trump. That's it. That is their entire 2026 campaign slogan. Now they're out there saying, you know, if you go after a power plant or a water supply, that's a war crime. No, in fact, it's not. According to the Geneva Convention. It's not a war crime at all. In fact, I've got it right here. Had it written down for you. Anyhow, it's not a war crime. If those power plants and water supplies and infrastructure help aid the military that you're opposed to, you can certainly target those things and take them out. I, I think that Cargill island is the crown jewel of the Iranian oil system. We'll see what they actually do with it. Okay. We've got reports that it's been bombed. To what extent? I don't know. You don't know? We'll have to wait and see. But the truth of the matter is we've been at war with this country for 47 years. We've allowed them to kill our people. And I. And I still. I'm still here. Right. We'll see where it goes from here. I don't know what he means by a whole civilization will die. I don't know what he means by that. But I'm still here until. Until I change my mind. Haven't done that yet. I believe that Iran is these. They are the leading source of global terror. Hamas, Houthis, Hezbollah and Al Shabaab as a, as a bonus in Africa. I'm just gonna watch and see what happens. I think that we've pulled off some of the most amazing accomplishments in military history. Rescuing that pilot on Easter Sunday. Remarkable. And what was really disappointing to me, watching those on the left, those on Chicken Noodle News or Ms. Cow or whatever they call that thing. And the New York Times rooting against America, rooting for that pilot to get caught, which is really what they were rooting for because they thought if that pilot could be strung up in front of the world, that would make Donald Trump look Bad. That's how demented some of these folks are. On the other side, they would like to see that pilot strung up and abused. They would root for the Iranians and the IRGC over America just because they hate Trump that much. And that is a damn sad commentary on what's going on.
David Brody
Hey, T, I know you've got a question, but can I just put an addendum? I just. Not a question, but just an addendum to what Steve was saying. They've got about 140, 150 or so power plants over there in Iran and most, if not all, have some sort of military tie in. So you'll see justification by this White House to say, yeah, they were all military targets, if you will.
Steve Gruber
Anyhow, they don't need justification, David. They don't need justification.
David Brody
They are part of justification, civilian ones, full stop.
Steve Gruber
There is no such thing.
David Brody
Well, that's what I'm saying. But there is no. See, that's what I'm saying. Right, but I agree that that's exactly what I just said.
Steve Gruber
Yeah, yeah. And the fact of the matter is the IRGC runs all 31 provinces with an iron fist. And if the only way to exterminate the IRGC is to take away their lights and their power, well, then I guess that's what you have to do. But again, I don't know where this goes. I'm going to continue to watch and evaluate day by day. Terrence.
Terrence
Hey, Steve, similar to me, you've got a well developed gut. So what does your gut tell you about what happens after 8pm Say the president does ultimately go through with the bombing of power plants and bridges. What happens next tomorrow, the day after next week? What happens next, by the way, also before you answer that question, it was not at all lost on me. You're talking about peaking and comparing the elections to basketball, especially since the University of Michigan is now the college basketball national champion. I know what you were doing there. I caught it. I'm with you on that one. But let's get back to the issue at hand. What's your gut feeling about what happens next after. After this devastation of Iran?
Steve Gruber
Well, that's an interesting question because we never know quite what Donald Trump's going to do. He often offers off ramps and offers opportunities for countries to do something different. He's offered it in Venezuela, he's offered it in Iran. Sometimes they take the off ramp. More times than not they don't. And then there are consequences to be paid. I don't know the concern that people have has not changed from 28 February. How long does this go on and at what price? So far, I think we've lost 13 military personnel. Is that correct? Is that the right number? 13, I believe is.
Terrence
Yes, that's the last number. I saw 13American troops.
Brian Glenn
Yes. Right.
Steve Gruber
And we've lost exactly one plane in five weeks of fighting here. Until we lost, I mean, one shot down. This has been a remarkable victory for the United States military. No matter what metric you use, it's been a remarkable victory destroying their Air Force, destroying their Navy, Carg Island. I don't know what the objectives are here. I'm not in centcom. I don't get the briefings. I know you guys are shocked to learn that, but I'm going to continue to watch because so far they've been very successful. 13,000 targets, something of that nature, debilitating the IRGC. We need to get this terrorist network ferreted out. And look, look, treating cancer is a painful thing and that in effect is what we're doing here. We're treating a systemic metastasized tumor of terrorists and we have to root it out. And there's going to be some pain involved with doing that. How long is it going to take? I don't know. What's the end game tonight after 8:00'?
Tom Del Becaro
Clock?
Steve Gruber
I don't know the extent of what we do with Carg Island. I don't know. And I don't mind telling people I don't know yet. I'll have to watch and learn along with everybody else as to what the next step really is. My gut tells me we're in there for about two or three more weeks, but I don't think much longer. Because Donald Trump is mindful of the fact that gas prices need to be stabilized or reduced for things to work well come November. There is a political component to everything. Everything.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, that was actually gonna be my question, Steve. So now you've just stumped me. Any questions you'd like to ask yourself?
Steve Gruber
You know. Yes, I wanna ask a question. Why do they allow the national championship basketball ball game we played on Monday night at 9 o' clock at night when people have to go to sleep and their favorite team is playing? I think that's. I think that the President should do something about this. And the point that I'm making here is, guys, there's a lot of very serious things going on in the world. There are lot of serious stuff. Take a moment to breathe. Take a moment to, to, to take a breath once in a while. Don't get so wound up that you're just tight and you're unfriendly. You know, say your prayers, you know, talk to your wife, go for a walk, walk the dog, watch a basketball game. But make sure you take a moment for yourself because otherwise you'll just implode if you just digest the stuff too much.
Dr. Gina
But the other side of that is true too, Steve. Don't disengage because the news is too heavy. God does not allow us that luxury to just detach and go become sports fans all together instead of engaging. Engagement is super important. I know you weren't saying that. I'm just saying the other side of that is true also.
Steve Gruber
Yeah. Take a moment.
Dr. Gina
Take a moment. Absolutely. I say go out barefoot in the grass. Gotta ground yourself. That's really early.
David Brody
We'll get you some granola while you're at it. No, just kidding. I'm just playing.
Tracy Anthony
I like that.
David Brody
It's a good idea.
Dr. Gina
Steve Gruber, thank you so much for joining us today.
Terrence
Thanks, Steve.
Dr. Gina
Granola. David Brody, where were you going with that? All right, coming up, Tucker Carlson slamming the Trump administration. Now he's attacking the president from a religious angle. We're going to hear about that after the break. Don't go away.

Terrence
Let's get right into in the cup today. What's in the cup today. And that will be former FOX News host Tucker Carlson. In a recent broadcast, Tucker continued his now routine attacks on President Trump, raping his decision to engage with the Islamist regime in Iran. Tucker says that he is openly suggesting the president may not be a real Christian. And to support his claim, he recalled that 47 and didn't place his hand on the Bible when taking the oath of office at his inauguration. According to Carlson, this was a sign of things to come.
Blinds.com Advertiser
These are the same people sort of didn't notice somehow that on inauguration day the president did not Take his oath of office with his hand on the Bible. His wife stood next to him holding it. I was about 15ft away and saw it. But he did not put his hand on the Bible. And that should have been maybe a clue that we need to pause and think about.
Terrence
What is this?
Blinds.com Advertiser
Why wouldn't you put your hand on the Bible?
Terrence
Hmm. All right, let's discuss. Let's bring in David and Dr. Gina for more. David, we'll start with you. This seems so personal. I'm not even so sure. It just seems personal to me. It feels personal.
David Brody
100% it's personal. And it's because that President Trump has gone to war with Iran, and that's it. And really, that's really it, if you think about it, Because I don't think Tucker would have ever said anything like that if Trump had made the decision not to go to war with Iran. I just don't think so. So to me, if it's subjective, if you will, in other words, if it's based on events, then is it really true to begin with? I mean, I think it's just more subjective. What's the word? I'm looking for analysis on his part. So he wouldn't say that. I mean, you have to say that if he goes to war with Iran or not, he's either a Christian or he's not. Not based on something that you believe or don't believe. So his standards are all over the place. So he's literally turned into. I don't know, what are some liberals? Just name all the liberals you want. I mean, all the liberals say the same thing. He's not a Christian. They say the same thing. So, Tucker, welcome. You're with the liberals.
Dr. Gina
Well, did he or didn't he put his hand on the Bible in his inauguration?
David Brody
He did not. He did not.
Dr. Gina
He really.
David Brody
He's right. Tucker's right on the fact. No, he did not.
Dr. Gina
I'm not gonna lie. I didn't know that. Do I think that's significant? I would love to hear President Trump talk about it, because usually when President Trump does something that stumps people, he has his reasons. Or he may just say, you know, I forgot it was kind of a big moment. You know, it could be something like that. I think he's addressed it, but I don't understand why no other reporter has ever asked him that. Maybe we can get our own Brian Glenn to do precisely that. I don't think he would be opposed to that. I'd like to know the answer to that. I think it's a fair question. I don't think there's anything wrong with asking that question. Do I agree with everything Tucker said? No. Do I think that President Trump is a, quote, unquote, real Christian? Which I didn't, I didn't listen to this Tucker episode, Unfortunately, I plan to. I just haven't had time. Everyone in the chat is like, have you heard it? Have you heard it? No, I haven't heard it yet. Time is limited sometimes, but I plan to. But the thing about it is I've heard a lot of snippets. I haven't heard one in particular where he questions the president's faith. I think if I were, if you were to pin me down and ask me what I think of President Trump's faith, this is what I tell people, because people do ask me this question all the time. I think he's searching. I think President Trump is still searching. But I'll tell you what, I would rather have a president who's searching, who has Christians in the Oval Office, who has done a lot of things that we as Christians never could count on a Bush or a Dole or anyone else to do. I'd rather have someone, even if he's not a professing Christian, I would love to have someone like that in office who actually cares about Christians.
Terrence
Right. Interesting perspectives. Unfortunately, we have to wrap up this conversation because I think we could really take this through the rest of the show. Still to come here on American Sunrise. Dr. Gina, you're standing by with the top story that you're keeping your eye on today. The one to watch is after the break.
Tracy Anthony
All right.
Dr. Gina
Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. Gina. Thanks so much for being with us this morning. It is time now for the One to Watch. Here's what I'm keeping my eye on today. The Trump administration making a surprise move on a long debated issue extending Title X funding that could benefit Planned Parenthood. The decision allows federal family planning funds to continue flowing through programs that include Planned Parenthood affiliates. Supporters of the move argue that it ensures access to critical health services, including cancer screenings and basic care. Which is a lie, by the way.
David Brody
Yes.
Dr. Gina
But many MAGA voters say it's a betrayal, saying any federal funding connected to abortion providers unacceptable. They say this is not what MAGA voted for. David Brody, first to you. I mean the lie from Planned Parenthood about them doing anything other than abortion. You're talking to the girl who was told by Planned Parenthood themselves don't come to us looking to adopt a special needs Child. We're not in the business of adoption. They do one thing, and that's abortion.
David Brody
David, Gina. Planned Parenthood all about mammograms, right? Oh, come on, stop.
Dr. Gina
Never.
David Brody
I mean, you know, don't insult us. Yeah, don't insult us. But most people will believe it if they don't follow this type of stuff. Pro life groups are livid. Pro life groups are livid at the Trump administration. The Trump administration is pushing back, saying, look, this is in litigation, lawsuits. We have to kind of fulfill this legally for now, but we'll change it eventually. We'll see if that's the case. But, yeah, it's definitely one to watch, for sure.
Terrence
Yeah, yeah. It's a story I'm definitely watching. And from a personal perspective, look at where many of these Planned Parenthood offices and facilities are. They're not in high end neighborhoods, I'll just put it that way. So I'm watching this as well.
Dr. Gina
Genocide.
Terrence
And I think you get where I'm going.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, it's genocide, plain and simple. And not only that, they function just like the unions where they get government money and they filter it into the pockets of politicians to keep the government money coming. It's a very nice. You pat my back, I'll pat yours. Just like the union bosses. It's disgusting and sickening and we need to completely and utterly defund them. There's no reason why every pro life clinic in the country who will tell you the truth about how far along your baby is and what your baby can do and what you're actually killing when you do the abortion, there's no reason why we can't have those facilities do all the same things that Planned Parenthood does. They don't need government funding.
Steve Gruber
Yeah.
David Brody
By the way, after FYI, here's a transition. I'm also watching Carg island and power
Dr. Gina
plants in Iran and pray for our troops.
Terrence

“American Sunrise” weaves breaking global news, inside-the-room White House coverage, strategy from military analysts, ideological and faith-based debates, and domestic politics into a fast-paced, highly opinionated show.
