Coming up on American Sunrise. There he is, the Epstein grand jury docs. A federal judge ruling these files can come out. What can we learn? And how does the White House feel about their release? We're going to go to the White House for reaction. Plus, the fate of your health care. The Senate slated to vote on a health care bill that expands health savings accounts. And of course, the Democrats alternative as well. How likely is either to pass? And what will that mean for you and your family? The latest developments ahead. And later, border failure. Yeah. New reports suggest Joe Biden flat out ignored warnings that his immigration policies would lead to chaos. The question what did he know and when did he know it? We have that and more as American Sunrise starts on a Thursday. Right now, everybody.
Good morning America.
Dr. Gina
Welcome to American Sunrise. Whether it's culture, we have breaking news to share with you.
Terrence Bates
Politics.
David Brody
President Trump is joining us live now from Florida.
Terrence Bates
We've got you covered.
David Brody
This is what it looks like to be a patriot.
Terrence Bates
We have to protect the American family.
Dr. Gina
The American dream is still alive.
David Brody
I'm David Brody.
Terrence Bates
I'm terrence.
Dr. Gina
And I'm Dr. Gina.
Good morning. I'm Dr. G. We are live with you from the Palm Beaches this Christmas. I love this Christmas set. You guys did such a great job with this in the control room. A little secret. I thought it was a Friday and I was ready to say happy freedom Friday. And then someone told me, broke the hard, hard truth to me, that it's only Thursday. But you know what? Let's bring in David Brody Anyway in Washington D.C. i don't have to do this show all by myself. David. Even though it's Christmas. Terrance Bates.
David Brody
No.
Dr. Gina
Good morning. Happy Christmas season. I thought it was Friday. It's not Friday, guys.
David Brody
Gina, we're here for backup. We're here for your backup. Just so you know.
Terrence Bates
You can be our Gladys Knight. We'll be your Pips. There you go. We're here for backup.
David Brody
That's right.
Dr. Gina
Oh, it's like a backup to this reference.
Steve Hilton
Yes.
Terrence Bates
I saw your face. You know who Gladys Knight and The pips are. Dr. Gina.
David Brody
Right?
Terrence Bates
I know you're not.
Dr. Gina
I know who Gloria Gaynor is.
David Brody
Oh, my gosh.
Don't get me wrong.
Terrence Bates
Lord, please help this child.
David Brody
Terrence, let's storm off set. Let's just storm off set.
Terrence Bates
At this point, I really can. Okay, Dr. Gina. See, so. So what you've just started. Dr. Gina. I'm gonna start sending you an avalanche of Texas texts. Excuse me. With Gladys Knight and the Pip songs.
iHeart Advertising Announcer
Oh, great.
Terrence Bates
You know the song Midnight Train to Georgia? Don't get me going on that midnight Train. You know that song, get it on the midnight Train.
Dr. Gina
I have definitely heard of the song. I've defin. It's not that foreign to me.
Terrence Bates
Okay, all right. Doctor, I think, David, she really knows that song, but she's being stubborn right now and she's like, I will not admit.
Dr. Gina
Well, okay, okay. But in fairness, in fairness, just in case audience members weren't watching the date, David Brody, what was the one song that we all knew that Terrance had the whole wrong edition of?
Terrence Bates
It Never Rains in Southern California.
Dr. Gina
It never rains in Southern California. It never rains. I'm sorry. I'm gonna sing over whatever's happening in the background there. Cause it's scary. We should probably start a show anyway. Anyone? Anyone? Takers?
Terrence Bates
Let's, let's do start a show. Erica Kirk, of course, making headlines this morning. She appeared on CBS and had a very emotional message for those people trying to justify her husband Charlie's murder. Here it is.
Katie Glendaniel
Erica, One of the most alarming things about Charlie's murder was the way that some people in this country reacted to it.
David Brody
Yeah.
Katie Glendaniel
And not just online. This was kind of. This was an idea that you encountered a lot. And the idea was this. They kind of justified it. They basically said that because Charlie said or believed things that they believed were controversial or even hateful, that he somehow had it coming. What do you say to people who justified his death?
Dr. Gina
You're sick.
iHeart Advertising Announcer
He's a human being.
Katie Glendaniel
You think he deserved that?
iHeart Advertising Announcer
Tell that to my three year old daughter.
Dr. Gina
Excuse me.
David Brody
You want to watch.
In high res.
The video of my husband being murdered.
Katie Glendaniel
And laugh and say he deserves it?
David Brody
There's something very sick in your soul and I pray that God saves you.
iHeart Advertising Announcer
I pray.
Katie Glendaniel
Because that is what is so wrong. The Internet in this world has dehumanized us.
Terrence Bates
By the way, the man accused of killing Charlie will be back in court today for the latest hearing in that case. But Dr. Gina, when people question Charlie's murder, it's just another way of victimizing the family.
Dr. Gina
It feels like I had not seen that interview that got me. Not gonna lie. I've watched a lot of other interviews with her. I had not seen that one. You know.
All of the noise out there, David Brody and I talk about this a lot offline. All of the noise out there. I feel like everyone. It's free speech, right? It's free speech. But this is something entirely different. This is a Branch of evil.
This is a war not going on in front of our eyes. This is the oldest battle of time, the battle between good and evil. We know who wins in the end. I'm glad that Erica Kirk has that reassurance that we know who wins in the end on this battle, because this is as evil as it gets. Anyone that would gloat over watching the murder of Charlie Kirk, it's just where you draw the line. And I can't think of punishment harsh enough for those who would gloat on watching the murder. And then that the widow and her children could ever even have to endure. This, to me, is beyond words. Talk about all the nuances of this that you want to debate, the merits of whatever you want to debate, but this is this. She's right. This is crazy evil.
David Brody
David, leave this poor woman alone. My goodness gracious. And by the way, I'm not just referring to what we were talking about here as it relates to crazy stuff online regarding the haters in terms of what they're going to say. I'm specifically referring to Candace Owens. Stop it.
Stop it. What are you doing?
Dr. Gina
Well, I think everybody has a right to say what they want to say, David, but when it comes to attacking the widow and the family, that is not done.
David Brody
And she's done it. Candace Owens has done it. She has done it. Gina, I have not heard, and I'm sick and tired. Yeah, she's done it, and I'm sick and tired of it. And she needs to stop it and stop it now. And I know that we took a very serious turn there, but it deserves every single seriousness that we're having having today. Every element of it. Ridiculous.
Terrence Bates
Guys, we're going to continue to talk about this throughout the day. Dr. Gina, before we get to the Bible verse, just want to let you know that we're covering another story as well. CNBC is out with this headline which says, president Trump says that U.S. seized oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela. That ship apparently heading for Cuba and is accused of smuggling oil to generate revenue for terror groups like Hezbollah as well as Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard. Again, this is still a developing story that will continue to for you throughout the day here. All of this comes as President Trump is escalating tensions with Nicolas Maduro, the Venezuelan president. That's one of the big stories that we'll be covering for you throughout the day. But now, Dr. Gina, our Bible verse, please.
Dr. Gina
Yeah.
iHeart Advertising Announcer
Wow.
Dr. Gina
That conversation just went to so many different emotional levels, David, I just felt like you weren't Finished. If you wanted to say anything else.
David Brody
No, no, I'm good. We can talk about it as we move through the hour. That's fine, but. No, I hear you, Gina.
Dr. Gina
Charlie St. So firmly for free speech rights that I never.
David Brody
I know.
Terrence Bates
Go ahead.
David Brody
I'm sorry. Please. I interrupt you? Go ahead.
Dr. Gina
Okay, let's do the Bible verse and we will continue this conversation. We do have two hours, you guys. Absolutely. Psalm 36. 9. For with you is the fountain of life. In your light we see light. And that's the only way to see light in some of these situations. The sacred to the unseemly. Here we go. Federal judge has ruled that the grand jury records From Jeffrey Epstein's 2019, another majorly emotional issue in our vernacular these days, the 2019 sex trafficking case can be unsealed, part of a push for transparency under the Epstein files Transparency Act. The material, which includes testimony, call logs and an FBI presentation, is expected by December 19th. The judge cautions that the documents may reveal little new information beyond Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. But supporters of the move say it's a step toward the full public accountability in a case that continues to shock the nation. Now let's bring in rav Chief White House correspondent Brian Glynn right into our hornet's nest here this morning. Welcome to you, Brian.
I don't know which topic you want to pick up on, Brian, but there was a lot to unpack there. Between Venezuela, between Erica Kirk, between the Epstein files. We really hit the show running this morning.
David Brody
Take your pick.
Dr. Gina
Go ahead, V. Any snow angels?
Skip Bedell
Spin the wheel.
Brian Glynn
No snow angels today. We've got a beautiful sunrise coming up behind me. No, that's a lot of heavy stories in the news right now, especially, you know, this time up to Christmas. So I. Our viewers are very much aware that there's a lot of stuff that's. It really, you know, is difficult to talk about. Let's talk about these Epstein files for a second. Judge Berman, just joining other court's decisions to release this grand jury testimony. So here's the magic question that a lot of people ask me. They direct message me on social media. This is not going to just instantly turn over the names because that's. I think what the American people want to know is who were these high, you know, maybe elite people in our. In our society, in our government and business?
Skip Bedell
Who are they?
Brian Glynn
This is not what that's going to do. I don't think you're going to see any names at all released, but you will learn a little bit more about the criminal activity of Jeffrey Epstein. I'm not sure what that looks like and I'm not sure if we even care to understand the demented mind of this individual. But nevertheless, that information will be released. And as you know, December 19th is kind of the day that all of this should be turned over. Now, any additional information about Jeffrey Epstein and these files, because there is a DOJ investigation on this entire subject, some of that is not going to be released because it's, quote, under investigation. So. But nevertheless, I think it is a little bit of justice for these victims. At least they know that more information will come out, their stories will come out so the American people can understand what they endured.
David Brody
Yeah. And we should be clear that the victims, Brian, have said, look, if the names aren't going to get released, they're going to. They're going to release the names. And, you know, and so we'll see what happens going forward. So, Brian, the big story on Capitol Hill Hill today is obviously the big Senate vote on GOP on this GOP health care bill that does not extend the expiring Obamacare tax credits. That vote expected today would replace premiums with health savings accounts. And the Democrats will get their vote on extending Obamacare subsidies, but that's going to fail, too. What's your sense of what we're going to see today on both sides?
Jake Novak
Yeah.
Terrence Bates
Oh, man.
Brian Glynn
You tell you, coming up to the final couple days of the year in Congress is going to get pretty animated when you look at this. Even the discharge petition that Republicans in the House have signed to go ahead and throw these things to the floor for a vote that I don't think that's going to pass. But here's kind of a inside baseball just for a second, so our viewers know the frustration of House Republicans in terms of the leadership under Speaker Johnson. Now, Speaker Johnson's a wonderful man. We've met him. We probably all had engagements with him. But a lot of House members are very critical of his leadership right now, not putting bills to the floor for a vote. Let's put a name to these votes. And this is not just the aca. This is a lot of bills that are continuing to stack up on Speaker Johnson's desk awaiting a floor vote. So these discharge petition literally forces a bill to the floor for a vote, put a name on record, either a yay or nay. But this is just one of the examples here. So as we kind of wrap up.
I mean, of course, these Republicans that are on this discharge petition to get this, this, these subsidies on the floor for a vote are in very purple districts, I might add. These are districts that aren't 100% Republican. They are very mixed. So to their constituents, this is a big deal because 20 million people rely on these subsidies. So this will be topic number one going not only to the end of this year, but well into the beginning of the next in January. So we'll have to stay tuned on that. But obviously a lot of emotions surround these votes.
Dr. Gina
All right, Brian Glenn, I guess, I guess we're out of time. No producers are giving me any guidance, but my clothes is up here.
Brian Glynn
We're done.
Dr. Gina
So you can, you are off to make snow angels now and chase the foxes around the White House lawn. What a career you have, Brian Glenn. I love what you've accomplished for yourself.
Brian Glynn
Yeah, yeah, just Google me. You'll find out about my career.
Skip Bedell
Just quick Google search.
Terrence Bates
Yeah, just Google.
David Brody
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.

Dr. Gina
Oh, I feel you too, Brian. All right, Coming up. Thanks, Brian. We're going to check out the hottest headlines. We've already done that, though, so we're just going to retire for the day. From the RAV newsroom with tbase. Also later, President Trump reportedly quietly building a plan for Venezuela. If President Maduro would be ousted, how would all of this look? Oh, boy. Military leaders will face rapid fire questions before the Senate Armed Services Committee today related to President Trump's use of the National Guard in cities across the the country. The deployments have set off debate as well as legal challenges about states rights and the use of the US Military on US Soil. The commander in chief has called troops into action in support of federal law enforcement while also protecting federal facilities and combating crime. Initially, Senate Republicans blocked today's hearing, but acquiesced when Senate Democrats threatened to hold up the annual Defense Authorization act bill. Senators plan to ask military leaders how the deployments are affecting readiness, training as well as costs. Today's hearing, by the way, comes just two weeks after two West Virginia National Guard members were shot in the nation's capital. One of them was killed. The second remains in the hospital. Tens of thousands of people in Washington state are facing the prospect of being ordered to leave their homes as another round of heavy rain is forecast to dump on that state today. The showers threatened to bring catastrophic flooding. Rivers, as you can see here, are already near historic levels in the western part of the state following days of constant rain. On Wednesday, the governor declared a statewide emergency warning that, quote, lives will be at stake in the coming days. The unrelenting rain has already triggered rescues and road closures. The situation expected to only get worse as hundreds of National Guard members are being deployed to that region in order to deal with the aftermath of the flooding there. So let's bring in Weather Nation meteorologist Tracey Anthony now with the very latest on this developing weather story. Tracy, you've actually been talking about an atmospheric river out west pretty much all week. Is this rain that we're seeing there in Washington State a result of that?
Katie Glendaniel
Yeah, you know, and it's been a result of this for a long period of time. Usually we have an atmospheric river event. It lasts about two, three days. But we have had this set up over the weekend and then really this week it has just been hammering down. If we look at the last five days, the rainfall totals are in the double digits. We're talking 15 inches, some localized spots even greater, up to about 20 inches of rain. So you may remember earlier this week I kind of showed you what it looks like from satellite. This is technically tropical moisture, moisture that gets funneled in across the Pacific Northwest. So it just wrings out all of that moisture. And the rivers, creeks and streams are really compensating for all of that moisture. So we are talking potential records with the Skagit River. That's going to be throughout the overnight and into Friday historic levels. As all of that water and moisture run into the rivers. We're going to also dealing with a lot of mudslides and landslides. So, Terrence, this has been a devastating ongoing situation and today could be one of the worst days out there.
Terrence Bates
We'll of course be watching it for you, Tracy. Thank you so much. By the way, folks, log on to our various social media platforms. Get a rumble, YouTube, let us know where you're hanging out. If you're in the Pacific Northwest, please let us know where you're there because we want to give you a hometown forecast to let you know how things are looking across the country, specifically in some of the hot areas like the Pacific Northwest. Again, your hometown forecast coming up from Tracy in the next hour. Up next, though, Joe Biden missed the warning from his aides about the border. So what were their specific warnings? You'll have to stick around to find out.
Now to this day in history. It was on this date in 2008 that billionaire Bernie Madoff was arrested for leading a long running Ponzi scheme that involved roughly $65 billion. Madoff helped revolutionize how stocks were traded in the 1960s. In the 80s, he launched an investment in advisory business which by the 1990s became that Ponzi scheme I talked about. Several notable celebrities were victims of the scheme, like Kevin Bacon, Kyra Sedgwick, as well as Jeffrey Katzenberg. Each of them lost millions of dollars. In 2009, Madoff was sentenced to 150 years in prison after pleading guilty to 11 felonies. He died in 2020.

David Brody
Terrence has requested the. No, he hasn't. I just made that up. That's a lie. But he is from Chicago. Welcome back, everybody, to American Sunrise. I'm David Brody. All right, so before taking office, Joe Biden was reportedly warned that his immigration policies would lead to chaos. I was going to say administration policies. Same thing. The New York Times reports that aides warned Biden that they would encourage a massive surge of illegal crossings and create a full blown political crisis. But Biden ignored those warnings. And of course, once Biden became president, illegal encounters doubled at the border, then just kept rising from there, fueling a border disaster even as he ate ice cream the entire way. For reaction, let's bring in a man with direct knowledge regarding the outcome of Joe Biden's failed border policies. He saw it firsthand. Former Pinal county sheriff in Arizona. There an Arizona congressional candidate. Let's not bury the lead. That'd be Mark Lamb. Sheriff Lamb, great to have you back on the show. Look, clearly the Biden regime caved to the left on this, but a lot of this is political miscalculation. But how much of it also was just downright, how do you say it? Just a problem nefarious. Knowing that more illegals in the country will be better for Democrats in the long term as it relates to the census and reshaping the congressional map.
Brian Glynn
Yeah, David, I think more than a miscalculation, it was. Malicious is the proper word. I think that they purposely did what they did. They were warned, as we're seeing now in this story by their aides, that they said this would be a major problem. It would not only be a problem for the country, but it would be a political problem. They ignored it and they pushed forward with their agenda nonetheless. And now we're seeing, as time goes on, just exactly what that agenda was. You know, this was for voting. This was for congressional districts. There's so much. But absolutely, I think that malicious would be the proper term. I think they just absolutely turn their back on the American people in the last four years. And, you know, I came on this show many times. I've been just a very vocal opponent of their policies and how destructive they were for America.
Dr. Gina
U.S. forces have seized a large oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela. President Trump called it the largest ever taken in such an operation. Now, the ship was sanctioned for carrying illegal Venezuelan and Iranian crude and was taken in a coast guard led action. As tensions with Caracas have escalated. Venezuela called the move international piracy while Washington says the seizure targets sanction evaders. Sheriff, if you were in Congress today, how would you respond to this?
Brian Glynn
Look, I'm with President Trump on this. I think that the moves that he's making to protect our borders, to protect our economy, to stop actions from countries like Venezuela who would harm us, whether it's with drugs or crude oil, that is violating sanctions. And look, I think a lot of people overlook the amount of intel that goes in to bombing of those drug boats or taking of a tanker like this. There's an extreme amount of intel that goes in and they know who the people are involved, the characters involved, the criminals involved in these operations. So these are not actions taken lightly. I would have to know. I would have to strongly believe that President Trump knows that there's a political piece to this, but he does what's right anyway. So I completely support him on these decisions.
Terrence Bates
You know, this situation in Venezuela, I think, is emblematic of how the administration is really pushing back on some of the illicit business that comes as part of illegal immigration and illegal sale of narcotics. Which brings me back to the border. We're hearing from the administration, obviously that border crossings are down to historic lows, but the reality is many of these cartels are still in the business of trying to make money off of illegal trafficking, not just of people, but of narcotics and other things. So what are you hearing from your sources there in Pinal county in terms of how things are looking there on the border as it relates to the illegal trafficking side?
Brian Glynn
Well, that's a great question, Terrence. And the traffic on the ground is very low, whether it's humans being trafficked in. We've put a real good stop to that. President Trump has. They're not releasing people that are actually being apprehended at the border. We're not seeing them come on the highways like we were. I used to be able to go out with my guys and we'd pull over vehicles on the highway and, and it was not uncommon for us to get 3, 4, 5 human load vehicles in a morning. And also what we're seeing are much larger drug loads coming into the country, which means that they're have, they're not as able, they're not as able to spread them as thin as they were. Now they're having to put them in bigger loads and try to bring them across. So we're seeing them shifting back to those old tactics that they had under the first administration. And the traffic has really crawled to nearly a stop. In that sense. Drugs are gonna still keep coming in. We gotta do the best we can to stop it. And that's what I like about this administration and their efforts to do so.
David Brody
Absolutely. There's like mayhem everywhere. Let me bring you your attention to this story. This 711 flash mob robbery in Los Angeles. Several people taking items from the store. How do you handle situations like this? Because we're just seeing that type of stuff crop up all over. Here's the video. You can see it there. You know, just flash mobs walking into stores, just doing their thing. Unbelievable. It's been happening for a while.
Brian Glynn
It's been happening for a while, but until judges start holding people accountable, you know, if you were to arrest one of these kids right here, one of these people involved with it, I don't know if they're kids, but any one of them, my guess is that the judge would release them immediately and they'd be back out on the streets to commit more crimes. We're seeing that all across this country, especially in communities that are being run by the left and the Democrats. These judges are, because of their color, of their skin, their background, whatever it may be, they find a reason to release them back onto our streets. And when you do that, people don't feel any accountability for their actions. And they get more and more emboldened in the crime that they commit. California, they went as far as to pass a law saying anything under $951, we're not even going to arrest you for. And now this is the result of those kind of bad policies, those kind of decisions made by judges who by the way have all the time in the world to make these decisions. Unlike us in law enforcement where we oftentimes make split second decisions. I think qualified immunity should be removed from judges. They should be held accountable for their decisions and I guarantee this kind of behavior will stop.
David Brody

I think a lot of us know the feeling. How can caregivers overcome that? We're gonna have some tips on American Sunrise when we come back.

Dr. Gina
Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. G. Thanks for joining us today. It's time now for today's health news, sponsored by the wellness company under the microscope. Today, ways to overcome potential loneliness if you are a caregiver. A new study in the Journal of Medical Internet Research finds that the Internet may be a critical emotional lifeline at times for older Americans caring for sick family members. About 12% of older caregivers struggle with loneliness. And people caring for those with dementia are 62% more likely to experience severe loneliness compared to other caregivers. Now, this study goes on to say that those caregivers who use the Internet, often through video chats, support groups, social connections, felt significantly less isolated. Researchers say digital connections can help ease the burden of caregiving, offering support and community when getting out of the house can be difficult. Yeah, I think this is a much bigger issue than we often talk about, but I am glad those connections are there. But I think getting out with real people, this is what church is really good for, by the way, is a great idea as well. And having that spiritual and emotional and Social support is just as important. All online support is never a good idea. You know that stubborn ache that never quite goes away? The one that ice, heat and pain pills don't touch. Well, if you could target it at the cellular level instead of just numbing it, what then? Well, that's exactly what TheRablue was designed to do. And that rhymes. TheirBlue is a next generation pain relieving peptide gel that works deeper than the skin surface. Powered by Aqua molecular delivery technology, it delivers peptides and botanicals directly into that muscle tissue for legit long lasting relief. Its hero ingredient, Copper peptide. This promotes collagen synthesis, reduces inflammation and helps accelerate repair. NAD restores cellular energy to aid recovery. While methylene blue protects your mitochondria and supports endurance. Natural extracts like msm, turmeric, white willow bark, arnica and ginger soothe inflammation, while menthol, camphor, eucalyptus oil deliver instant cooling relief. It absorbs fast, leaves you refreshed. Your skin won't be greasy. Apply a thin layer, massage until absorbed. Let your body experience lasting recovery. Get 10% off by visiting TWC Health RAV. Use the promo code RAV. Move freely. Again with TheRablue. Click TWC Health RAV. Peptide your pain away with Therablue Pain relieving gel from the Wellness Company. Use promo code RAP. That'll save you 10% off of every order. David Brody. D Bro, the debro.
David Brody
The debro's in the house. I got to work on my mitochondria. I gotta. Yeah, I gotta work on that mitochondria.
Dr. Gina
I noticed your mitochondria was a little off. I didn't want to say anything. I'm glad you're working on it.
David Brody
Thank you. I give those vibes.
Dr. Gina
First step is admitting you have a problem.
David Brody
People look at me and go, oh, mitochondria. It's off. All right, all right. D. Did I call you G.D. i don't know what I called you. All right. The group Susan B. Anthony, Pro Life America is calling on the Food and Drug Administration. That'd be the fda. Their commissioner, Marty Makary to resign. They're upset after a report by Bloomberg news that said Dr. Marche. Excuse me, I'll say it eventually. Is going to delay a review of the abortion drug miferistone until after the midterms next year. Slow walking a study like that isn't cutting it with the SBA list. The group's president posted the following on X. The FDA is doing nothing while everyday abortion drugs take the lives of children, put women and Girls at serious risk, empower abusers and trample state pro life laws. Reinstate in person dispensing now and do a real study. Now, the White House, by the way, is defending the fda. Commissioner said these attacks are uninformed, explaining that the reviews like this take a lot of time to be completed. Huh. Well, for more, let's bring in the Director of Legal affairs and Policy Council for sba Pro Life America. That would be Katie Glendaniel. Katie, good to see you. So the White House, normally an ally on pro life issues, obviously, but I'm curious, Katie, they're pushing back here. I'm wondering what you're saying about that this morning. Good morning.
Katie Glendaniel
Hey, guys, it's great to be with you. You know, we appreciate the White House wants to back their people, but what they should be doing is getting somebody at FDA who actually wants to, you know, carry out the agenda that the president ran on with pro life voters. The president said we need to be able to enforce our strong pro life laws. Unfortunately, right now that's impossible because FDA allows bad doctors or even non doctors to sit in California, New York and ship abortion drugs into states like mine where we have passed strong pro life laws. So FDA needs to get somebody at the helm who's going to take this public health crisis seriously.
Dr. Gina
It's interesting, Katie, because I'm very involved with the whole Maha movement and I'm on their calls. I'm very involved in their sort of comms. But it is interesting because you really took a bunch of people who, I'm gonna call them the granola moms out there, you know, they were leftists. They were not pro life. A lot of them. Some of them. And you kind of merged that whole thing with the MAGA movement, who is ardently pro life. And so it really has created something interesting in politics that we've really never seen before. And while I think. I think that conservatives in general want to welcome anyone, because I think we believe that most people, when they see the truth, they will be drawn to it. We can't compromise our values. Where does this put us as a pro life conservative political movement?
Katie Glendaniel
Well, this is actually a great point of consensus between the classic pro life voter and the Maha moment. If, you know, you look at national polling. McLaughlin and associates did national polling in August, and they found that even a majority of those polled who identify as pro choice said abortion drugs should not be in the mail, that a doctor needs to be involved to make sure a woman is being screened for abuse and coercion. So what we're talking about here really is a base level care of medicine.
Not that, you know, the abortion industry seems particularly focused on that as they just ship drugs, even to men. So we think this is a great place of consensus to say, of course we want to protect the babies, but women deserve a baseline as well, and that's not being met under current FDA policy.
Dr. Gina
So is McCary just off on this? Is this just his own personal opinion? And you think that's what's influencing this with. With not a lot of backing from the MAHA movement or from rfk?
Katie Glendaniel
You know, it seems like politics are really playing a role here when what we hoped for when some of these disruptors came into our public health agencies was that they would follow the science. If you look at the science, it shows more than 10% of women who take an abortion drug end up in the emergency room with serious complications. And so that is the type of information that needs to be informing this debate. And so far, FDA commissioner has really seemed unwilling to have that conversation. And so this reporting coming out, you know, first from the Wall Street Journal, now in Bloomberg, saying that there's really no urgency here. We need somebody helming fda. Who feels urgency when tens of thousands of American women are going to the emergency room because of these drugs every year.
David Brody
Katie, 15 seconds. You have any suggestions on who should be FDA commissioner? Are there names that you guys have bandied about?
Katie Glendaniel
Nobody specifically, but we need somebody who will get these dangerous drugs out of the mail, take the study seriously, and work with us on seeking real health solutions for American women and girls.
Dr. Gina
All right, Katie, Glenn, Daniel, thank you so much for being with us.
Katie Glendaniel
Thank you.
Dr. Gina
All right, you guys. ABC is doubling down on Jimmy Kimmel after his bogus MAGA smear, and Hollywood couldn't be prouder. We'll be back in just a moment with more American Sunrise right after this.

Welcome back to American Sunrise. It's now time to stay awake, not woke. And today we're brewing up Hollywood hypocrisy. No soy foam to hide the bitter truth here. Despite outrage over Jimmy Kimmel falsely tying Charlie Kirk's assassination attempt to MAGA, ABC has extended his contract through 2027. Kimmel was yanked off the air for six days after his baseless claim. But instead of accountability, Disney rewarded him. Media allies call it defiance against President Trump. Many see a woke corporation protecting a Trump hating host who spent years mocking millions of Americans. Let's bring in Terrence Dr. Gina and David Dr. G. Should we be surprised about this or impressed that Hollywood can reward bad behavior this fast?
Dr. Gina
Well, you know, evil isn't going to just shrink. Evil isn't going to just shrink until the final days of the final battle. And we know then what happens. But until then, expect evil to flourish and don't be surprised by it. And I think that I say that certainly not to pat it on the back, but more to reassure the faithful that, you know, their time will come, but it's just not going to be now. So we should expect, you know, evil to glorify evil because that's what it does best. And.
I honestly, at a certain point, I just think continuing to ignore it, continuing to build our own parallel economy to prop up our own personalities that aren't evil.
That'S our only choice and that's what we're stuck doing as we're here in this life on Earth.
David Brody
David, I couldn't, I can't imagine anybody around a kitchen table saying, hey, did you hear what Jimmy Kimmel said last night? Maybe I should reconsider some of my policy positions. You know, I mean, like, no one cares about what Jimmy Kimmel has to say. He's a comedian and I get it, he's on late night television and he has some sort of audience, I guess. But so what? So what? Let him do what he's going to do. I don't really care. I really don't care about what he does because he doesn't influence anything. He really doesn't. And I don't think he influences the culture. This idea that, you know, I think SNL for a time back in the day, in the 70s and 80s, definitely the 70s influenced culture. And there was a Time. I think in the 90s, they did as well, but I think so. I'm not saying media and entertainment doesn't influence the culture. They do at times. But not Jimmy Kimmel. I don't put him there at all. So he's gonna make his millions. And this whole thing was a ruse. T. Bates. This idea that, you know, oh, we're gonna pull him off the air. We're listening to, you know, kind of Trump voters around the country and what he said about Erica Kirk. This is horrible. We're gonna take a principled stand. No, you're not. You're gonna give him a little slap on the wrist and then bring him back when the time is right. And now the time is not only right, it's gonna be extended.
Terrence Bates
Exactly. And you know, there's a saying, the only bad press is no press. Well, Jimmy Kimmel obviously got press for the reprehensible things he said, and it brought more eyeballs, even if just passively, to his show. And so he's being rewarded for it. I'm with David. I don't care. I don't care what Jimmy Kimmel says. He's a non factor in terms of. Of my worldview and his worldview, quite honestly. And so, okay, he's getting some more money. He's getting the credit, whatever. Move on.
David Brody
But I will say this.
Terrence Bates
That are important to me. Go ahead.
David Brody
Jimmy Kimmel. Yeah. No, no, I was just gonna say Jimmy Kimmel does believe that he's a factor. So the only people that think he's not a factor are not him. Okay, I don't know what I'm trying to say.
Terrence Bates
Well, David.
I also believe that I look like Billy Dee Williams and I'm super handsome. It ain't the truth. Just because I believe it don't make it the truth.
Dr. Gina
Oh, I don't know. I think you're Han, Terrence.
Terrence Bates
Okay, well, in that case.
Dr. Gina
And you're going to give you this. I also don't know who Billy Dee Williams is. So there you go. See? And I know who Terrence Bates.
David Brody
George Clooney.
Dr. Gina
I know who Terrence Bates is. And, David, you look just like George Clooney. Yes, Emily, go ahead.

Terrence Bates
Welcome back to American Sunrise. It's now time for our Moment of Faith, which is brought to us daily by Lee Greenwood and the God Bless the USA Bible. In focus today, global Christian lawmakers From more than 30 countries are in Washington for the Israel Allies Foundation's annual conference. The idea is to deepen support for Israel and boost international legislative cooperation. Delegates will discuss rising anti Semitism, security threats and shared democratic values. Speakers include key U.S. officials and international faith leaders as they aim to strengthen global advocacy for Israel. Let's bring in David Brody now to discuss this a little bit more. David, you know when I Think about these sorts of events. I think it's great that people are coming together. These leaders and faith leaders from around the world are coming together in support of Israel. But it seems to me that anti Semitism is still the fundamental issue that needs to be addressed. Before you can support Israel, you've got to support its people. In my mind, I'd love to get your perspective.
David Brody
Yeah, well, I'm looking at the clock. We don't have too much time to get into all of this. T. Bates, Am I off base?
Terrence Bates
Let's start there. Am I off base there? It seems that antisemitism is at the heart of it.
David Brody
All.
Right. But the question then becomes, what is anti Semitism? You know, there's one thing to be against.
Israel in terms of anti Israel policies or Netanyahu's policies. That's not anti Semitism, obviously, but sometimes that needs to be said. Look, I'm the biggest. This just in. I think, you know this. I'm the biggest pro Israel guy out there. But ask me if I have a few issues with some of Netanyahu's policies. Absolutely, I do. Okay. But there's folks there, especially in the under 30 crowd, that are more anti Israel, for sure. I mean, I'm not anti Israel. I mean, there are a lot of folks that are anti Israel under 30. And some of the problem here is that Those folks under 30 are kind of being demonized, if you will, as being anti Semitic. They're not. They're not. They just want answers to questions. I think that the danger here and now. Here we go. And I have to look at the clock because I only got about a minute. But let me just say that the danger here is.
If you're going to consider Israel the villain in this story, and I'm just going to say his name because I mentioned Candace earlier. So I'll now say, Tucker, if you're going to mention Israel as the villain in the story and that's what Tucker's doing, okay, that's a problem, because they're not the villain. Now, are they perfect?
Steve Hilton
No.
Terrence Bates
But is that anti Semitic by its nature? Is that in your mind?
David Brody
Some will say no, some will say yes, some will say no. Okay, I'm not here to render a judgment on that right now. But I will say this. If you think Israel's the villain in this saga, can I take you back to October 7th? Can I take you back to the Holocaust? Can I take you back to, oh, I don't know, civilization the last 6,000 years? Give me a colossal Break. There is radical Islamic terrorism that is the threat here, okay? It's not Israel, okay? Israel's trying to do their best. And by the way, if Israel wanted to commit genocide, then they're doing a really horrible job at it because you don't send pamphlets and you don't let aid in to people that you're trying to kill. So give me a colossal break and I've got a lot more to say about that. I feel like Forrest Gump. But anyhow, T. Bates, we gotta go, don't we?
Terrence Bates
We do have to go. It's an interesting conversation and unfortunately not one that's going to be settled just between you and I, David. We're gonna be back with the second hour of American Sunrise here in just a couple of minutes. Stick around.

Coming up on the second hour of American Sunrise. Sunrise golden. The race is on. California's gubernatorial race in full swing, featuring a packed field of candidates on both sides of the aisle. Hello, Gavin. We're checking in with Steve Hilton, one of the leading Republicans aiming to succeed the outgoing Gavin Newsom in just a moment. Plus, more fake news from the BBC, the British broadcaster admitting to spreading even more falsehoods in its coverage of President Trump. In moments, we're going to show you their latest attempt. And later, the end of NATO. Kentucky Congressman Tom Massie with a bill that would pull the US out of the historic alliance and organization, by the way, that President Trump has been very critical of in the past. But does it have any chance of advancing? Well, we're going to break that down. We've got all that and so much more as American Sunrise starts in our second hour right now.
Good morning America.
Dr. Gina
Welcome to American Sunrise. Whether it's culture, we have breaking news to share with you.
Terrence Bates
Politics.
David Brody
President Trump is joining us live now from Florida.
Terrence Bates
We've got you covered.
David Brody
This is what it looks like to be a patriot.
Terrence Bates
We have to protect the American family.
Dr. Gina
The American dream is still alive.
Brian Glynn
David.
David Brody
I'm David Brody.
Terrence Bates
I'm terrence.
Dr. Gina
And I'm Dr. Gina.
David Brody
Welcome back, everybody, to the second hour of American Sunrise. I'm David Brody coming to you from D.C. let's bring in Dr. G in West Palm. T. Bates in our Denver newsroom. Here we are, the second hour. We're back in the trouble box. Good morning to both of you.
Terrence Bates
Hey, David.
David Brody
Yes, sir.
Terrence Bates
I'm sorry, would you and Dr. Gina just indulge me really quickly? Can I take a trip down memory lane? The memory lane of my childhood? Just really quickly?
David Brody
Yeah.
Terrence Bates
Dr. Dean, you're in trouble.
David Brody
You're in trouble.
Terrence Bates
This is really for you, Dr. Gina. So we've already gone through Gladys Knight and the Pips I introduced you to. I'm sorry, I'm still tripping that you don't know. We just introduced you, of course to Lando Calarissian, who you didn't necessarily know. That's not the name obviously. No, that's who he played. Most people would know that.
Skip Bedell
But.
Terrence Bates
But my favorite Christmas song. And this is really just for you, Dr. Gina. This Christmas by Donny Hathaway. Do you know that song? I'm sure you know this Christmas, but the Donny Hathaways. No. Okay, so what I'm going to do over the next several weeks, this will be just for you. I'm going to play several of my favorite Christmas songs. And it will start with Donny Hathaway's this Christmas. So prepare yourself on Monday. At some point in time, I'm going to sprinkle that into the show. Show.
Dr. Gina
As long as I'll make deal with you, T. I will take your educational remediation or re education or whatever we want to call this. But I raise you that we've got to have some good old fashioned Christmas music like Silent Night. Like the real stuff, like the Jesus stuff, not the bangy clangy ringy manga ring a date. Dang it. Christmas.
Terrence Bates
I am open to that.
Dr. Gina
Sorry, was that my outside voice?
Terrence Bates
I am absolutely open to that, Dr. Gina. And we will play your version of Silent Night. And then we're gonna play my version of Silent Night, which I can already tell you you're gonna do it. Don't, don't, don't do it.
David Brody
Okay.
Terrence Bates
Well, no, I've got to.
Dr. Gina
No, Terrence, no, no.
David Brody
There's only one version.
Dr. Gina
It's like having empanadas on Thanksgiving traditionally.
David Brody
I knew you were gonna say that.
Dr. Gina
It matters. Real tradition matters. And klangaranga danga. Christmas is not tradition.
David Brody
Klangaranga.
How do you even spell that?
Steve Hilton
Hold on.
Dr. Gina
It's like doubledygook spelled backwards. David, just so you get the Yiddish.
David Brody
Clamoranga ding dong.
Terrence Bates
All right. Goodness, I'm sorry. I'm looking forward to these next couple of weeks looking, moving towards Christmas. Oh, I'm going to get under Dr. Gina's skin so much. Love you, Dr. Gina, but I am going to enjoy it. All right. Let's get to this morning's headlines. Military leaders will face rapid fire questions before the Senate Armed Services Committee today related to President Trump's use of the National Guard in cities across the country. The deployments have set off debate and legal challenges about states rights as well as the use of the military on US Soil. The commander in chief has called troops into action in support of federal law enforcement enforcement while also protecting federal facilities and combating crime. The West Virginia National Guardsman who was killed in the nation's capital just a couple of weeks ago is in her final resting place this morning. Specialist Sarah Beckstrom was laid to rest on Tuesday with full military honors. The 20 year old is buried at the West Virginia National Cemetery in Grafton, West Virginia. While President Trump did attend her funeral, he has spoken with her family and invited them to the White House. Tens of thousands of people in Washington state are facing the prospect of being ordered to leave their homes as another round of heavy rain is forecast to dump on the state. On today, the showers threatened to bring catastrophic flooding. Rivers are already at near historic levels in the western part of that state following days of constant rain. On Wednesday, the governor declared a statewide emergency warning that, quote, lives will be at stake in the coming days. That brings us to our forecast with Weather Nation meteorologist Tracy Anthony. Tracy, it's a sad story out there. All part of that atmospheric river that you've been reporting on all week.
iHeart Advertising Announcer
Yeah.
Katie Glendaniel
You know, and this is their rainy season. So it's typical that we have a lot of rain. But when you have tropical moisture flooding in with an atmospheric river for five, six days on end, it's just too much for the area to handle. And actually one of our hometown forecasts today is coming in from Lyman, Washington. So this area right along the Skagit river. So there are evacuation orders in place around this on getter. It's Dana Webster. So a lot of people saying they had already checked in with him to make sure he was good. But look at this. We are going to be dealing with rain even into next week. So going to just show you a few of these graphics here because this is the Skagit River. And as we get into the day and evening, we are expected to crest past historic levels. So we could have a new record. And it's expecting that almost a dozen rivers across this part of Washington could have record crests over the next few days. Want to talk about a few other hometown forecasts? Take you out to Ashland, Nebraska, Talk about roller coaster temperatures. We're going from 44 today down to a high of 16 by Saturday. You're going to be dealing with some snow, but then you're back up into the 50s into next week. This was from Eric on YouTube. And we've got one more stop. We're taking you out to Butler, Pennsylvania. You're going to have some lake effect snow vans and some snow over the next couple of days. You're also going to get a little plunge of some cooler air, but not as much of a roller coaster for you. Hey, it's winter. These temperatures are a little more normal in this part of the country. So that's what's going on. And that's what's going on in several hometowns of our viewers. You know, Terrence, we love when people interact with us and join in in the conversation.
Terrence Bates
Absolutely. And a great way to join in in the conversation and just get in touch with the folks over at Weather Nation. Folks, that QR code there at the bottom of your screen, go ahead and scan it right now. Join our friends over at Weather Nation and you will have them at your fingertips.

All right.
Terrence Bates
Let's get you back over to David Brody now. David, fortunately, I've got a cell phone in your cell number, so I've got you at my fingertips as well. Good morning.
David Brody
Good morning, teammates. All right, now to the Golden State, where California's gubernatorial race is shaping up to be a crowded field. A lot of candidates. It's packed on both sides, Representatives Eric Swalwell and Katie Porter. Leading the Democrat side, we've got Chad Bianco and Steve Hinton leading the Republican field. Well, joining us now is one of those leading candidates that would be, of course, California gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton. Steve, good morning to you. Thanks for joining us. So look, Gavin Newsom and his hairspray are going to ride off into the sunset in November after his term ends. And we all know he's going to run for president. Yeah.
Jake Novak
Good luck with.
David Brody
But meanwhile, Republicans face an obvious uphill battle in California in almost every respect. So what do you think it's going to take to win? And oh, by the way, good morning to you.
Skip Bedell
Good.
Steve Hilton
And good morning, by the way. I think the main thing we need to do is make sure somebody, and I'm talking to the whole team here, watching someone needs to write that song. Gina Clangarang at Christmas. That's an actual hit in the making, I think. Look, it's great to be with you all.
You're right. It is. For too long now the case that California has been one party rule by the Democrats. It's nearly 20 years since a Republican won statewide in California. But you just have to look at the results of that one party rule. It's literally the worst performing state, California in the entire country on everything that matters. As a result of Gavin Newsom and these far left Democrats, Democrats, we've got the highest taxes in the country, the highest poverty rate, the highest unemployment rate, the highest cost for gas, electric, water, insurance, housing, rent, everything. The worst business climate 10 years in a row. It is a complete and utter disaster. And the good news is that Californians are waking up to that now. If you look at the polls across the state really consistently for the last two years, there's a majority for change in California, 60%, 65% say the state's going in the wrong direction. So the climate is there, I think, for us to really bring about a revolution next year, kick these people out. I'm pleased to say that in the polls for the governor's race, I'm leading in the not just the Republican field, but all of the candidates. So I think it's time for change in California. Everybody could see that with a strong, clear, conservative, common sense message which is all about cutting costs for people, getting rid of the ridiculous bloated bureaucracy in Sacramento, restoring sanity for things like getting rid of the gender extremism in our schools and across the board, getting biological boys out of girls, sports, things like that that everyone across the board in California agrees it's gone too far. So I think that we've got a clear, strong message about change and I think people are going to go for it next year. I know it's an uphill battle, but I'm ready for the fight and so far it's going well.
Terrence Bates
Steve, I'm ashamed to say, but I can be very shallow and your accent alone makes me want to vote for you. Plus, when you call it a Disaster, rather than a disaster, it feels less threatening. So let's get to your recently launched online tip line to help expose government waste and fraud. Obviously, all of this comes in light of, of what happened in Minnesota and what was uncovered there. Give us the details.
Steve Hilton
So if you look at what happened in Minnesota and we're getting the details emerging all the time, and people have very fired up, rightly about $1 billion of fraud in the welfare system there and with immigration and all the, all the details that we've seen, the disgusting way that taxpayers have been ripped off there. And I've said ever since that came to light, what do you think the chances are that it's not much worse in California? What you're seeing in Tim Waltz's Minnesota is dwarfed by what is going on in Gavin Newsom's California. I mean, you look at the fraud we already know about in California, $55 billion.
From the employment department in the pandemic, with money going out in the name of people who are in jail, on death row, criminal gangs. Internationally, you've got 24 billion on homelessness. The problem just got worse and worse and taxpayer money ended up in the pockets of the homeless industrial complex and crony non profits of Gavin Newsom and all that that's been well reported, $13 billion in this year's budget for free health care for illegal immigrants, you're nearly up to $100 billion just from what we know about now. The other thing that was happening in Minnesota is you saw for years that you had government workers there, state workers and civil servants, good, honest people trying to blow the whistle, to tell people what was going on. And Tim Walsh and the Democrat machine silenced them and intimidated them and wanted to cover it up. And so that's why I said, let's not let that happen in California. So I launched this anonymous tip line, it's at Califraud, so that we can have people who are in the state government right now tell us the stories of what's going on so that we've got the information so that when I'm elected governor, we can root it out and save taxpayer money. And actually, since we launched this at the end of last week, we've already got over 200 specific tips, stories of abuse and fraud and corruption. And there's more to come. And I'm asking everyone who's watching if you know about fraud in the system in California or if you have a friend or a family member who works in the system who's been complaining to you about what's going on. Go to califraud.com tell us the stories. It's anonymous and we need that information so we can take strong action to cut out this disgusting abuse of taxpayer money that's widespread in Gavin Newsom's California.
Dr. Gina
Steve, I'm not going to get a question in, but I have to compliment. I like the beer.
Steve Hilton
Thank you, Gina.
Terrence Bates
I appreciate that.
Dr. Gina
That's my very, very heavy contribution to this block.
Steve Hilton
But it's the most important one.
David Brody
Your accent and beard. Your accent and beard. Great. Okay. That's where we're at today. Steve, real quick, just five seconds to seven seconds. Give us where people can go to join the fight. Where do they go?
Steve Hilton
Thank you. SteveHiltonForGovernor.com F O R SteveHiltonForGovernor.Com Merry Christmas, everybody.
Dr. Gina
Merry Christmas to you. Thanks for being here.
Terrence Bates
Merry Christmas you to.
Steve Hilton
Thanks.

Saving the best for last. All right. Coming up, BBC News over in the UK Is once again admitting it got it wrong when reporting on President Trump. Wow, the BBC getting something wrong, huh? Now the president fighting back. Details when we come back.

A business and not thinking about radio. Think again because more people are listening to the radio and iHeart today than they were 20 years ago. And only iHeart broadcast radio connects with more Americans than TV, digital, social, any other media, even twice as many teens than TikTok. And that reach means everything. Just think about the universal marketing formula. The number of consumers who hear your message times the response rate equals the results. Now let's get those results growing for your business. Radio's here now more than ever. And iheart's leading the way. Think radio can help your business. Think iheart streaming, podcasting and radio. Where the reach is real. Emily Finn
Welcome back to American Sunrise. I'm Emily Finn. It's great to have you with us this morning. Time now to drain the swamp. And this morning we are once again flushing out BBC News. The BBC is facing serious questions after admitting it made errors in reporting comments made by President Donald Trump about Liz Cheney. Missteps that Trump now says could cost the public broadcaster billions of. An internal memo reportedly confirms the network mischaracterized Trump's remarks, claiming he called for a firing squad, when in reality, he made a chicken hawk argument targeting her foreign policy stance. Now With Trump threatening a $5 billion lawsuit, the broadcaster says a more detailed accounting of what went wrong is still to come. For more, let's bring in David Brody, terrence Bates and Dr. Gina. Gina, don't think that this is really coming as a surprise to see this from the BBC. They've already apologized to President Trump for bad reporting.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, but it's more than bad reporting because there's a motive behind it. You know this. You don't hear these things happening in the reverse. That's the thing I always say turn, put the shoe on the other foot and ask yourself when this happens. You know, they always love to talk about violence against any opposition of Trump. But what about the actual line of dead people behind the lines of those who are on Trump's side or who have at least traditionally been on Trump's side? What about the dead J6ers? What about the people falsely imprisoned? What about Charlie Kirk? What about the assassination attempts on the president? What about the person killed the day that President Trump the attempted assassination took place? What about Tina Peters? I'm sorry, I'm going to say her name every show until she's free. What about the people that were persecuted just for being Trump supporters or for having served in a former Trump administration? What about the terror watch list that was put in place? What about all the false media that has been perpetrated against anyone who was ever MAGA or let's go back to the Tea Party if we want to, Emily. This list goes on and on. These things don't happen to the left. These things don't happen to those that oppose conservative Christians. Show me the line of those actually hurt words don't hurt people. Right? We have a right to free speech. Even the president of the United States has a right to free speech. But that's very different from the actual harm that has been imposed on those who are conservative Christians in our country. Terrence.
Terrence Bates
Yeah, this is somewhat off the subject, but related. Just this morning I was reading an article and I didn't realize this the beginning BBC apparently is the news partner with CBS. CBS is the BBC's U.S. news partner. I was reading, which I didn't realize, but it also, I think goes a long way in explaining why the BBC has been so anti Trump. Because of course, we know that the CBS has been very anti Trump and very critical of the Trump administration, has even falsified reporting as it relates to the Trump administration. David. And so I'm not necessarily surprised had you did you know that, by the way, that the BBC And CBS are apparently partnered up. I didn't know that until today.
David Brody
I did not know that. This feels like a reality series. You know, the beginning there was that first lawsuit that Trump threatened. Right. With the billions against the BBC. Now we got this. It's like, so the reality series, like, is bankrupting the BBC and put on by the BBC. I mean, they could literally do their own reality series because this is how you go bankrupt. I don't think they're gonna go bankrupt. Obviously, they've got lots of money in their coff.
Look, you know, it's a problem and I'm not quite sure what else to say other than I'll say this. President Trump has taken ABC to court. He's taken CBS to court. He'll take the BBC to court. He'll take anybody to court. He's been in court since he was 21 years old at this point. And good for him. No other American president would do it. And I'm glad he's done it.
Emily Finn
Yeah, the BBC certainly has to be nervous right now. He's been pretty successful in those other laws suits that you mentioned there, David. All right, great discussion as always. Coming up, we're headed down to Wall street for the opening bell and the first full day of reaction to the Fed's decision to cut rates. We'll be back with More American Sunrise in just two minutes. Stick around.
iHeart Advertising Announcer
Run a business. And not thinking about podcasting, think again. More Americans listen to podcasts than ad supported streaming music from Spotify and Pandora. And as the number one podcaster, iHeart's twice as large as the next two combined. So whatever your customers are into true crime, sports, comedy, culture, they'll hear your message. Plus, only iHeart can extend your message to audiences across broadcast radio. And all this reach means everything. Just think about the universal marketing formula. The number of consumers who hear your message times the response rate equals the results. Now let's get those results growing for you. You think podcasting can help your business? Think iHeart streaming radio and podcasting. Let us show you@iheartadvertising.com that's iheartadvertising.com or call 844-844 iHeart. One more time, call 844-844-IHEART and get podcasting working for you.

Welcome back, everyone. We're getting you ready for the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. It's set to ring here in about six minutes. I can tell you that pre market trading is somewhat of a mixed bag. I'd last checked, the Dow was up, it was in the green, Whereas the S, P500 and the NASDAQ were both in the red. Will of course, continue to monitor all of this for you. Also let you know the latest. There you have it right there. As I said, the DAX Dow is up right now. The S&P 500 and the NASDAQ are down. We'll also monitor the very latest on the Fed's meeting which wrapped up yesterday. Let's go to David in fact, for more on that. David.
David Brody
All right, Appreciate it. T. Bates. Let's do that with our daily dose of dollars and common cents. That means American Sunrise Early Edition host, the guy behind Jake's take stuff sacks. That would be Jake Novak. He is here with us. All right, let's do that. The news that Terrence was telling us about the US Seizing the Venezuelan oil tanker headed for Cuba and then of course, the Fed rate. So there's a lot going on here. Where do you want to begin?
Jake Novak
JAKE novak, well, first I just want everyone to know something that's kind of interesting.
The US Government has seized a Venezuelan oil tanker, as Terrence was telling us at the top of the last hour. So you would think that oil prices must be going up, right? Because that oil supply is coming off the market. And that's usually what happens happens. The opposite is happening. We're at the $57 a barrel level and oil is selling off somewhat significantly this morning. Here's what I think is going on with that, David. I think that what's happening here is that oil traders are looking at this and seeing that The Trump administration is very serious about getting that regime change in Venezuela, not only to stop the drug cartels and their power, but also to get some of that Venezuelan oil back onto the market and maybe even improve their production. I think they're taking the long view here because if we get a new regime in Venezuela and they're able to not only get some of their sanctioned oil back onto the market, but they learn how to produce better, they get Western experts in there again to do it right, then that would be a lot more supply for the long run. So that's why you have this counterintuitive drop in oil prices, despite the fact that a tanker has been seized this morning. I think the traders are taking a longer view and I agree with them.
David Brody
Yeah, so we've got that seismic event, if you will, to a degree, and we've got that rate cut, cut from the Fed yesterday, which of course stocks jumping higher on that news. But is it all good news, Jake, is the question?
Jake Novak
Well, you know, it's, it's one of those things where first of all, the markets already moved on. You know, they cheered the rate cut yesterday. We had a 500 point gain in the Dow. That's great. Now they're moving on to their other thing that they've been worried about for months, which is are we spending too much money on AI stocks? Of course the answer is yes. But my counter to that argument is like, where else are you going to put.
Terrence Bates
Put it?
Jake Novak
You know, I mean, there's other places to invest, but right now that you want to invest in tech, it's got to be all about AI. So the Fed rate cuts actually will help the AI trade a little bit. A lot of the companies that need to raise the money to pay for just the power alone, the power bills alone, electric power, whatever else they're using to power the AI, the AI machine, you know, they'll have more money to borrow now to pay their bills, so that'll be good. You know, it'd be cheaper for them to borrow tomorrow. But look, I think that we have the issue also with jobs in this country. We're seeing thankfully not a lot of layoffs as many people had predicted. But we're still not seeing major hiring yet either. And I don't know if rate cuts are going to change that all that much. I think what's going to happen mostly is that companies that already exist will just borrow more now. I don't know if they're going to use that borrowed money to hire people. I hope they do But I'm not so sure about that.
David Brody
You think mortgage rates are going to go down? You think home buyers are going to be.
This will translate over there.
Jake Novak
Well, we're starting to see things like I reported last week about how rental prices are going down in America. That means to me that also we should see again. And we're also seeing more supply coming onto the market. It's turned into a little bit more of a buyer's market. So, yes, I do think we will see mortgage rates come down, but it's going to take a while.
David Brody
Got it. All right, we got about 45 seconds or so. There's a rumor going around that I may not be able to get 16 different snack sizes of those Cheetos and Doritos 711 next week. I know, I know it's frustrating. Trust me, my gut doth protest. But it's the Wall street guys who are to blame. Wait, help me make sense of all of this. Now. I have 30 seconds. Because I bloviated.
Jake Novak
No, that's all right. But Wall street went to Pepsi, which owns all those snacks that we talked about, Cheetos and Doritos, and told them you have too many varieties, too many supplies, too many sizes. You gotta cut down on what people can buy so that you make more of a profit. So now I'm not going to be able to get my big sack of Doritos with my smaller sack of Cheetos at the same time. And that's an outrage, and I'm really upset about it. But Pepsi, listen, we'll see what happens. Maybe Pepsi will make money this way. I don't know.
David Brody
The outrage. The outrage. I say the outrage.
Jake Novak, great to have you in the double box. You could be in a triple box. You could be a single. Well, you have a single box, actually. You have a show. So thank you, sir. I appreciate you.
Jake Novak
Thank you so much.
David Brody
All right, great. We just cemented it there with a thank you so much. That's the official goodbye in television. All right, now let's say hello to T. Bates. He's in Denver. He's got the update on the New York Stock Exchange. I'm running out of breath. Sponsored by amac, the association of Mature.

Terrence Bates
Thank you so much, David. Oh, I guess it's not his turn. It is my Time. Time. Speaking of Time magazine, at the podium right now as we're preparing for the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. It's set to ring here any moment now. In fact, there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. So the markets are now official, officially open, which means it's time to trade. See what I did there? Here's a quick look at our big board. As you can see, the Dow is up right now. The S&P 500 and the NASDAQ are down right now. At the very bottom of your screen, that typically is crude oil. Crude oil is also down just a little bit. And as you just heard Jake talk about, this is somewhat interesting, giving this American seizure, the US Seizure of that major Venezuelan oil rig or oil ship. So we'll of course, continue to monitor that to see how this ultimately shapes out for this day of trading as it relates, relates to crude oil.
Stick around to Rav. Excuse me for the very latest on all of that. Also still to come here on American Sunrise. Have you completed your holiday Christmas shopping yet? We've got some great gift ideas for patriots after the break.

Dr. Gina
All right. Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. G. Thanks for joining us this morning. We invite you to hop in our conversation on YouTube. Getter and Rumble. It is time not to to take the political pulse of America and the beat. Today, Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie has introduced a bill to pull the United States out of NATO, saying the alliance is outdated and costly to American taxpayers. The bill, co sponsored by Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna with a companion introduced in the senate, would end U.S. participation in the defense alliance and cut off all taxpayer funding to NATO's shared budget. Massie calls NATO a Cold War relic, arguing the US should focus on defending its own borders, not countries that despise the United States. But his plan puts him at odds with most lawmakers who have been pushing for closer cooperation with NATO and Russian aggression and the war in Ukraine. Joining us now with reaction, rav congressional correspondent Benny Ray Harmony. Benny, do you expect this bill to get any support on Capitol Hill? Is this a realistic pursuit?
Katie Glendaniel
Well, Dr. Gina, you know, one of the things about this is Senator Mike Lee, he introduced basically the similar bill to the Senate earlier this year and that bill still has yet to go to the floor. And so right now the House and Senate, both of those bills have not been voted on. But the, the loophole that allows for this to happen for many people, people watching is the Article 13 of the North Atlantic Treaty. Now this says that 20, if you a party has been a member for 20 years, you can submit to remove yourself and leave NATO. But the issue is is that I don't think a lot of Republicans are going to support this. As of now, Thomas Massie has zero co sponsors on that bill. Rep. Luna has said that she will vote for it. So we will be on the ground here and trying to get some more reactions from some of these legislators as to if they will support it and if they won't. But truthfully I think it's just tried a little bit of a punch to President Trump in those foreign affair policies that he's putting into place. We know how Massey and him kind of butt heads.
David Brody
Yeah, that's such a great point Benny Ray, because the last time I checked I don't think President Trump and Tom Massie will be at appearing at an event anytime soon, especially over the Christmas, Christmas holiday for sure. So Benny, you're set to attend this Homeland Security hearing with DHS Secretary Kristi Noem. Tell us more about this because I mean, hey, I'll grab some popcorn for this one. This feels like it could be Real Housewives.
Katie Glendaniel
No David, I think you're right. Yeah, we are here in Cannon right now awaiting to go into that hearing room. This is going to be a big day because we know at dhs, I mean as of now they have deported Kristi Noem. She, she posted last night, I believe it was 2.6 million is how many illegals they have deported just in this short amount of time. And 1.6 million have actually self deported themselves using that app that Department of Homeland Security would pay for the flight to get these people out of our country. But we do expect some updates as to the U.S. mexico, you know, the border and how that construction is going, as well as just the up to date numbers. What is it looking like? We do expect a lot of these Democratic leaders in the Homeland Security Committee to question her on ice and potential illegal tactics, which we know are not illegal, but those Democrats will probably press her on that. And there's, there's one Democrat representative that is in there, Rep. Underwood, and she's of Illinois, and so I do expect her to really Press Secretary Noem on this. But the good thing is, David and Gina, is that the dhs, their appropriations bill has already went through, so their funding is safe. It should just be a good old argument today in this committee. I'm looking forward to it.
Dr. Gina
You really got to love it, Benny Ray. How they are questioning whether her tactics are illegal regarding deporting something more we know is illegal. The illegal aliens who have entered our country. You really got to enjoy the semantics of all of this. But Benny Ray, Harmony, we appreciate you being with us and keeping an eye out there.
All right, let's get you over to T. Bates. Terrence Terrance Bates. He is the wealth of knowledge on all things Christmas.
Terrence Bates
Oh, well, see, and I was going to give you that title, Dr. Gina, because you are in full fledged Christmas mode. So I'm excited to be doing this segment specifically for you as the holiday season is now upon us. If you haven't completed your Christmas shopping list just yet, well, home improvement and lifestyle expert Skip Bedell is here to talk about some great holiday gift ideas for everyone in your family that you can get just in time for Christmas. Skip, good morning. Good to see you, my brother. So, I have to admit, I'm still looking for the Tickle Me Elmo. I've been looking for that for 10 years. I know those will hard to find back then. What do you have for us?
Skip Bedell
They are hard to find. Good morning, Terrence, and Merry Christmas, my friend. Yeah, I have some really cool, unique gifts that I promise you haven't seen before. And anybody's going to love to have these. So this is for patriots. They're solar powered generators. Everybody wants to keep the lights on, keep their devices charged up. Check this out. This is the Patriot power cell. It's small, compact USB ports on the front, built in solar panels. I keep this in every one of my cars, right up on the dashboard. Keeps it charged up. And you can charge your cell phone up to six times on this one little power cell. So really convenient to have you. It makes you a great stocking stuffer. And talk about traveling. This is the Voyager. This is a power bank about the size of a bible. But the best part is it's TSA friendly. You can take it on the plane. This will keep everything charged up. It even has a home outlet outlet on the front so you can plug in your computer, your laptop, whatever you need to keep charged up for the whole trip. Bring it in the rv, wherever you want to take it. But you'll keep all your devices charged. And, Terence, some of the things that people are really looking for. This is a hot item. These are home generators with no gas, no engine or fumes, so you could run around the house. They run on a solar panel that's included. 1200 watt and 2200 patriot power. These will keep your lights on, even, keep the refrigerator and your freezer running for days, even weeks on a single charge. So these are a great thing to have. Anybody's going to love to get one of these gifts?
Terrence Bates
No, Absolutely. So, okay. My. My eye is on that generator. I love the idea, especially since I live out here in Colorado and it's not uncommon that our lights go out during an ice storm or a snowstorm. But those are small. That's what really, really strikes me. It's a small generator. The generators I'm using, you've got to pull in there much larger.
Brian Glynn
Yeah.
Skip Bedell
This little guy with the expansion battery on here will run your freezer for over a month on a single charge. And the best part is you hook up the solar panel to it, put it outside, and it'll keep it topped off. You are truly off grid. So fourpatriots.com has some great options there. Check out their website. They have great stuff over at four Patriots. And speaking of great stuff for Patriots, Talk about the gift of communications. I love this. This is rapid radios. This is a one touch walkie talkie. It's push to talk communications. But check this out, Terrence. This is nationwide, so when I press this button, we're talking to each other from coast to coast uninterrupted on an encrypted closed network. You can put up to 200 people on your group. And these are great. They come programmed in. They work right out of the box. So great way to stay in communication with the people that are important to you.
Brian Glynn
Wow.
Terrence Bates
Okay, so it's. It's. And okay, so, so explain this to me, because the walkie talkie, as a kid, that was a cool thing, but today with cell phones, you think that you wouldn't need that is the point of having that sort of walkie talkie. If the cell System goes down, you still have ways.
Jake Novak
Yes.
Skip Bedell
These will work even when the cell system doesn't. So like our cell phone, we're just using one carrier, say AT&T or Verizon or whatever. This works on every available cell signal in the entire nation. And it even has WI fi backup. So if the cell signal is out, it'll work on wi fi, but it's an instant digital communication. So it's a great thing to have, you know, to stay in touch with everybody. And they work when the cell phones don't work. So that's what I love about it. And this also waterproof, it floats. Super rugged construction. Best part is, Terrence, there's no monthly bill, no contract. Just $50 a year to keep this running. When you get it, they come out of the box. They run for a year, and in one year you'll get a re up bill for another 50 bucks to keep it going. That's all you have, no commitment and no monthly bill.
Terrence Bates
How long do they hold a charge?
Skip Bedell
Yes. So this will operate for five days of continuous use on a single charge. And of course, if you have your Patriot power cell with you, you can keep it running forever.
Terrence Bates
I see what you did there. I see what you did.
Skip Bedell
Right.
Terrence Bates
You know, it's interesting. I love that as I'm listening to you, I'm thinking to myself and actually it brings up a conversation I just had with the buddy. Is this year one of those years where a lot of people are focusing on what I call survivalist kinds of stuff, Things that will keep you up and running in the worst cases? Okay, go ahead.
Skip Bedell
Yes, I. Yeah, I get constant emails from people all the time. What can I do to keep food at my house? Emergency food kits, which by the way, for patriots makes the best 20 year emergency food communications. How do I stay in touch? How do I keep the lights on? It is the hot topic right now, Terence. So all these things, that's why I say they make such great gifts because they are in high demand right now. And these are the best of the.
Terrence Bates
Best and they're practical for Patriots. How do we get in contact with four Patriots? How can people go about trying to order some of these things?
Skip Bedell
Yeah. So4patriots.com you'll find all the great products. They have their Rapidradios.com you're going to find these great. One Touch Push to talk nationwide walkie talkies. And Terence, speaking of being safe, this is unbelievable and something I guarantee the viewers haven't seen before. This is invisible wear. Think of about a personal Safety button or like a personal SOS button. Looks like a piece of jewelry or a keychain necklace or a pendant. But how this works, the recipient will click this two times indiscreetly. No one will know if they need help. Two times is going to send out a notification to up to five people on your emergency contact list. They're going to be contacted and they're going to get a real time GPS location of where that person is. So if they need emergency services, they need help, they need an ambulance. Maybe they're on a date that's gone wrong and they need some help. Like I look like to give this to daughters, nieces, you know, they're away at college. All they got to do is click this twice. Everybody's getting a notification. If you call them and they don't answer, you're sending the cavalry. Right? So these make a really nice gift. And it's the gift of peace of mind, not only for them, but for you too, because I know you're safe. I'm just a click away.
Terrence Bates
Oh, brother. I'm loving that one right there. I've got two daughters who are teenagers and. And you know, anytime they leave the house, I'm going half crazy. This is the I've fallen and I can't get up kind of thing for the teenagers.
Skip Bedell
Yes. Yeah, it's exactly that. Only this Bluetooth to your phone. So as long as you're within 30, 40ft from your phone, it's going to send a notification to five people. And it works just like that. You're right. But this is today's technology. Unbelievable gift to give. Invisaware right now, with promo code Skip, you can get 10% off your entire order. So definitely check out invisawear.com and then the next thing. Terence, this is the last thing I want to tell you about and I absolutely love this. This is carved, this is hardwood, burled hardwood. That's handcrafted accessories. So a couple of years ago, my wife got me this beautiful phone case. It's natural burled hardwood and resin epoxy. It even comes with like a matching pocket knife. They make these beautiful sets of on Carv.com everything from phone cases, knives, bracelets, even like this great wallet. You know, I don't like to carry like a bulky wallet. This is a card holder, but it matches all these designs. So you can go onto their website@carv.com you pick out the wood and the resin epoxy combination that you like, and you can purchase all these beautiful matching accessories. So if you have someone on your guest list that loves handcrafted woodwork and things like that, they are going to absolutely flip out over carved. Terrence.
Terrence Bates
Skip, I love all of those ideas. I'm sorry, you had me with the generator, especially a small one. And me being able to find my babies just with them being able to push a button. I love those ideas. Those are practical gift ideas. I'm big into practicality. Not just giving a gift just because giving something that's going to be useful. And all of what you just described is useful. Useful for people who are interested. How can they find this stuff? How can they make the purchases?
Skip Bedell
Yep. Well, carvediscarve.com they also have a promo code. RAV25, 25% your whole order off on carved. And of course, all these things have websites which we mentioned on the lower third. And you can also find links to all these great products always on my website@SkipBadel.com.
Terrence Bates
All right, Skip. Appreciate it. And folks, you just saw at the bottom of your screen there was a QR code. We're going to try to. To put that back up. You can scan that QR code as well and get more information. There you have it. You can get more information about all that, Skip. Merry Christmas, my brother. If I don't see you between now and then, love all of those items you just showed us off. And if you just want to send a brother something, you know, I'll. I'm not picky. But whichever one you love you, brother.
Skip Bedell
It's on the way, man. Merry Christmas, Terrence. I got something good coming to you, bro.
Terrence Bates
My man, my man. Appreciate you, Skip. Have a great rest of the day. Coming up, folks. New York City Mayor Led Zoran Mamdami turning heads after tapping a former incarcerated rapper to head his public security team. Definitely don't want to miss that story. It's coming up.

Let's spill some tea.
Emily Finn
All right, let's spill some tea. Fueled by Artillery Tea Company, the only America first veteran owned tea brand and their mission to maximize flavor with whole leaf blends and chemical free tea bags. No junk, just real tea. And here's the tactical each bag brews twice. Just go to artillerytco.com and use the code RAV for 10% off your first order. Again, that website is artilleryteaco.com, premium tea, mission driven and brewed for the brave. It is time now to spill some tea. And in the cup. Today, Zoran Mamdani and his questionable pick for public safety. New York City's mayor Alex Zoron is turning heads after picking a formerly incarcerated rapper and longtime activist to lead his City hall transition team on public safety. The group Until Freedom, a well known social justice organization, announced Lennon's role, saying his experience in gun violence prevention, legislative activism and criminal justice reform makes him uniquely qualified. But his past is already drawing scrutiny. He was convicted of two felony armed robberies in the late 90s, crimes that could have landed him 25 years behind bars. Instead, he served seven before reemerging as a community advocate. For more, let's bring in Dr. Gina David Brody and Terrance Bates. David, we knew that this was going to be a train wreck in New York City with Zoran Mamdani. Are you surprised by this move at all?
David Brody
Not at all. And the train, Emily, doesn't get going until January and already there's been a derailment. If you think about it, I mean, what's next? AOC is sanctuary City Czar. I mean, at this point, you never know. What about Anthony Weiner, the former congressman from New York? Put him in charge of the sex trafficking unit there. I mean, look, this guy is out of control, Gina. And it's just gonna get worse. Sorry, T. Bates. I had to go there.
Terrence Bates
I think it's hilarious. I thought you were gonna say put him in charge of the Department of Children's Services or something. Oh, gosh, yes.
David Brody
Oh, please.
Terrence Bates
That's funny. It's not funny, but it's funny.
David Brody
No, it's just terrible. Please. Oh, Gina is silent. No, Gina's never silent. No, no. Has anybody cut Gina's mic? Can we open Gina's mic?
Dr. Gina
I really honestly don't have anything to say, Terrence, go ahead. I just shake my head.
Terrence Bates
So I'm going to take a bit of a different perspective. While, yes, we do expect New York to really be off the rails, I'm not necessarily mad at this. I think there is redemption and there can be redemption on its face.
Steve Hilton
Yeah.
Terrence Bates
Obviously there are concerns with a felon taking this sort of position, but given the work he's done post incarceration, given his experience and his community involvement, I'd like to see how this ultimately plays out. I am one who does support redemption. I am one to give people a second opportunity. And hopefully he's going to be able to bring a unique perspective, if you want will, to this job. I am hopeful. I am the last half full kind of person. I am hopeful.
Dr. Gina
Wait, now I have something to say.
David Brody
Please, Gina. No, you go, Gina. Gina, you go. Your mic is back on.
Dr. Gina
What were the charities. What was his community involvement again, Emily?
David Brody
Who knows?
Dr. Gina
Yeah, that was.
Emily Finn
I'm not quite sure. I just know that he was convicted of those armed robberies in the 90s.
Terrence Bates
Yeah, he was convicted. Yes, he was convicted of armed robbers in the. But he has since worked on gun crimes and has been instrumental, so they say.
Dr. Gina
So he's anti gun and that's his redemption. Sorry, fail. Fail.
Terrence Bates
I didn't say he's anti gun. I said that he's been working with various organizations that are dealing with gun crime. Not necessarily.
Dr. Gina
That is code, my friend, for anti gun activism. That's not charity work. I'm sorry. It's just not. If you're. If you're. When they say anti gun violence, guns don't commit violence. People do. So when charities are titled that way, it's just code language for he's anti gun, so he's anti second amendment, so he's anti Constitution, so he's anti America. That, to me, is not philanthropic or redemptive. So unless he's done something that we didn't list in our intro of him, he hasn't asked for redemption. He hasn't done anything to. To express redemption or any sort of reform. And he didn't serve his time. So to me, I respect that Terrence.
Emily Finn
Is treating him with a little bit of grace, though. I think everyone is deserving of second chances. I know I've certainly made mistakes in my past that I don't want to have people talk about for the rest of forever.
Dr. Gina
So we'll see.
Emily Finn
We'll see how this plays out with this guy.
David Brody
And Gina would be the first one. I obviously, all about redemption for sure. I mean, all of us agree with.
Dr. Gina
That, but grace is grace. But I just don't want anybody to be thrown by the code language. He's fought gun violence because that's code. You guys have to understand that's code language for his anti second amendment. That's not the kind of thing like Gianno Caldwell does, for example, where he's actually fighting violence committed by evil humans. That's a different thing.
David Brody
Don't worry, Gina. He's a community organizer, so I'm sure it's all fine.
Dr. Gina
He's been a Democrat activist.
Yeah.
Emily Finn
Well, we will certainly see how all of this plays out. All right. Still to come on American Sunrise, a Marine Corps veteran just won a custom built semi truck after being named 2025 Road Warrior. And his reaction is melting hearts all over the country. That heartwarming story is next. Stay with us.

All right. Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. G. Thanks so much for joining us today. It's time now for our sunny side up and in the pan today, a heartwarming holiday surprise for one of America's unsung heroes on the highway. A Marine Corps veteran and long haul trucker Stacy Batiste just got off, got the shock rather of his life, a custom built semi and a $50,000 check. After driving more than 5 million accident free miles over 34 years, Batiste has been honored as the year's road warrior. Here's what it looked like when he saw his brand new truck.
Skip Bedell
You recognize that truck?
Brian Glynn
That's it.
Terrence Bates
What I want to tell you right now is you.
David Brody
You are the proud new owner of that Kenworth Seriously?
Brian Glynn
I am dead serious.
David Brody
Oh, dang.
Brian Glynn
This is.
Terrence Bates
I don't know what I am.
David Brody
He's trying to put it together right now.
Terrence Bates
I just don't want to pass out. Oh, hey, Stacy.
David Brody
If the truck wasn't enough, you also got $50,000.
Jake Novak
Yeah.
David Brody
Thank y' all so much, man.
iHeart Advertising Announcer
Right?
Skip Bedell
Yeah.
Brian Glynn
They did a good job with it.
Dr. Gina
How beautiful is that moment? I love unsung hero being recognized.
Terrence Bates
T. Yeah, absolutely. I love that. And that's a great. That's the American dream. Right now he can start his own business. He probably was leasing a truck before. You know, many truckers will lease a truck and so they don't get the full profits of their work. This is the way he's got the truck of his own. He's got $50,000 to start his own business and to really be self sufficient. I love that. To me, that's the American dream.
David Brody
Oh, that's great. It's a truck. It's $50,000. All it's missing is a box of Oreos. But he can buy a lot of Oreos with 50,000 DOL. So that's the way I see it. That's fantastic. Oh, I love that.
Dr. Gina
I'll tell you the biggest box of order.
Terrence Bates
Bag of doritos.
David Brody
Yeah. Accident free for 34 years. Okay, that's not on my resume.
Dr. Gina
This is definitely not a maha sunny side with the Oreos and doritos, but I love both of them. All right, you guys, war room is coming up next. We are back with you to merge. Tomorrow actually is Friday. Freedom Friday. Happy Friday, you guys. Hug your children. Love God.
David Brody
Go boldly clankety clank clankity clanking click.

This episode of "American Sunrise" dives into several high-profile and emotionally charged national stories, focusing on the pursuit of truth, American values, and conservative perspectives on the headlines of the day. The tone is passionate, direct, and at times deeply personal, reflecting on the culture wars and the ongoing fight for what the hosts define as American freedom and tradition.

On giving practical gifts:
“Useful for people who are interested. How can they find this stuff? How can they make the purchases?...All these things have websites which we mentioned on the lower third.”
– Skip Bedell [99:25]
