The American dream is still alive.
David Brody
I'm David Brody. I'm terrence.
Dr. Gina
And I'm Dr. Gina. Good morning, Everybody. I am Dr. Chi. We are live with you from the Palm Beaches. Let's bring in David brody in Washington, D.C. and the still liking terrible Christmas music, Terrence Bates. He's in our Denver newsroom. Actually, I have to apologize, Terrence. I get very emotional about this. And I have to apologize because I think I was a little mean about your music choices when Ben Berkwam and I were discussing Christmas this morning. So I apologize. You are entitled to like whatever horrible Christmas music you like.
David Brody
Dr. Gina, I know your heart. I'll just leave it there. I know your heart. It's all good. And just because I'm gonna torture you for the rest of this week with more what you consider bad Christmas music, I get a kick out of it.
Dr. Gina
Why are the producers on your side in this? I feel like you guys are like my kids. You just like to watch my shock and horror when you do something that I don't like.
David Brody
Oh, it is funny. I Enjoy just watching your fac expressions in Washington squeal. That is funny. Hey, guys, look, there's a lot to talk about, especially from President Trump's speech last night. He touted affordability issues. He also talked about his accomplishments on the border and putting America first. In case you happen to miss some of what the President had to say, here's just an excerpt. For the last four years, the United States was ruled by politicians who fought only for insiders, illegal aliens, career criminals, corporate lobbyists, prisoners, terrorists, and above all, foreign nations which took advantage of us at levels never seen before. They flooded your cities and towns with illegal aliens, they decimated your hard earned savings, they indoctrinated your children with hate for America. Released, Really? I mean, they just released a level of violent felons that we had never seen to prey on innocent. They caused war, they caused mayhem, they caused a horrible situation all over the globe. But now you have a President who fights for the law abiding, hardworking people of our country. The ones who make this nation run, who make this nation work. And after just one year, we have achieved more than anyone could have imagined. David, what did you make of the address in terms of style and substance? That was a waste of time. That's what I made of it. Womp, womp, where was the big reveal? That was a campaign speech. Fine, great. I get why they did it, right? You know, you want to present a presidential address from the White House and you want to say, we hear you, we feel your pain, affordability, we're on this. I get the narrative, I get all that. That's fine from a PR perspective, but I'm used to the yesteryear presidential addresses where you actually, if you're going to say something from the White House, say something really, like important, not a campaign speech. So to me, I didn't even understand what was going on. I knew that the minute I saw him in the diplomatic reception room, I said, okay, womp, womp, this is not the Oval Office. Cuz in the Oval Office you've got the. Obviously you're gonna make some sort of big announcement to the country. This was not that.
Dr. Gina
Dr. G. It's definitely a lull, David, what you said. Plus, can I just say that if I were handling President Trump, I definitely would have had him in a room with an audience. I don't care. You know what, they're having a thousand Christmas parties right now. Invite some of the people, you know, invite some of your congressional favorites over. I don't care. Invite your staffers to sit in the room. I don't care. President Trump cannot do what he did last night. He cannot sit with no audience and stare at a blank screen or teleprompter like we do every day. But that's just not where he, his energy is always off when he does it and it just never comes across with his best assets. His best asset is his personality and his ability to relate to an audience. So you've got to show him that audience, though mentally, he just needs it.
David Brody
Terrence, no, agree that. Yeah, it was a miss. It's always good to see the president, but I was hoping for more. I'll just leave it there. Dr. Jim, would you give us our Bible verse, please? I'm sorry. No, I was just saying there was nothing. He did mention the 1776, the checks going out to military members. Awesome. But do it on the campaign trail. Doesn't need to be done from the White House.
Dr. Gina
Okay, let's check this Bible verse. It is from 2nd Corinthians 4:17. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. Very true.
David Brody
All right.
Dr. Gina
Turning Point USA's annual AM Fest begins today and RAV will be on the ground for all of it. Here's a little preview of what you.
David Brody
Can expect this Thursday through Sunday. Don't miss one of the biggest conservative events of the year, Turning Point USA's America Fest, airing right here on Real America's Voice. Join us as we honor the legacy and impact of Charlie Kirk and celebrate a movement that's shaping the future of this nation. This generation is the most conservative generation that we have seen in well over 50 years. And the numbers show it. America Fest brings together the boldest voices, the biggest ideas and the next generation of American leadership all in one powerful four day event. Hear from Vice President JD Vance, Erica Kirk and Real America's Voice favorites Steve Bannon and Jack Posobic alongside influential leaders from across the country to save this beautiful republic. You are doing something that is bigger then you. This is more than a conference. It's a rallying cry for faith, freedom and the American spirit. America Fest Thursday through Sunday on Real America's Voice.
Dr. Gina
All right. Joining us now from Amfest is RAV correspondent and the host of Law and Border, Ben Berkwam. Ben, set it up, my friend. Tell us what we're going to get.
David Brody
Well, you know, it's obviously bittersweet. You know, the, the venue behind me hasn't opened yet, but you can see the level of security. This is not construction. Some of the guys in the studio were saying, looks like a bunch of construction. It's actually, this is all security. So they have a security perimeter around the entire building, many layers of security to get through before you even get in the building, obviously because of heightened threats, not having the anchor here, Charlie Kirk, in a first year ever. And that's going to be. Everyone's coming with that anticipation. What is Turning Point? What is Amfest going to be now that Charlie Kirk is gone? And so some amazing speakers it's going to be, I mean, I anticipate a uplifted, hopeful message. I pray that we come together and, you know, you see all this nonsense with people attacking Turning Point, and I just really pray against the enemy and what he's trying to do to divide. Those are the two things that God has taught me this entire time through my journey, avoid division and distraction. And we see a lot of that today, unfortunately, you guys were talking about President Trump's address yesterday. There was a lot in there that I did. I mean, I love when he calls these people out. But the, the American people are saying, you know, when are we going to see the mass prosecutions? When are we going to see the mass deportations? When are we going to see the things that you campaign for? We don't want to hear any more about anything going on overseas. We don't want to see any of our money going anywhere else. It's time to fix our own house. And I think hopefully some of that starts happening, some of the healing starts happening throughout this event over the next four days. Yeah, I agree with you, Ben, and I'm glad you brought up, in essence, what you were talking about is the spiritual warfare aspect of all this. Because I was out in Phoenix about a week ago and talked to Andrew Colvett who talked about that. He believes this is spiritual warfare. The attacks at TPUSA has been basically subject to, let's just say her name by Candace Owens, and he's frustrated at that. So I'm curious to kind of get your take as to what that's going to look like this during the conference, because we've got Tucker Carlson speaking today on the first day, and also I understand Ben Shapiro, both on totally two different sides of that issue as it relates to Israel, but that's really just the way Charlie would want it. Yeah. As far as the organization goes, and this is, you know, this is the unfortunate growing pains of tragedy. And so you have some of this vacuum that's left by such a Larger than life leader in Charlie Kirk. He did set up an incredible organization with a lot of great people underneath him, but you still don't have that presence of, okay, who is this leader? Obviously, Erica will be leading Turning Point USA moving forward, but you still need that male figure in particular to the young men in the organization that Charlie was able to tap into, and you just really don't have that yet. And so in that, then you also have all of this other noise that's going on with it and people capitalizing on it with this clickbait generation that really, I mean, it just, again, causes more division. Maybe it makes some money for them, maybe it makes some clout for them, and maybe they actually believe what they're saying. If that were true and if any of the things that they were saying were true, I'd love to see any of the evidence. This is one of the problems you have with a lot of the, you know, even people on our side, the conspiracy theories of old, where you have people come out and say things and you look, you say, yeah, that might be true, but I don't see any evidence for it. I do have questions about, you know, what happened, but I don't immediately. I step back. Anytime I have questions about something, anytime I'm not certain about something, the first thing I don't do is jump out in front of a camera and start talking about what I don't know. It's. I step back and I analyze and I pray about it, and I see where the Lord leads and I give it time, and that's what I, you know, you pray for. But you're right. Charlie was all about debate on all sides, bringing people together and saying, hey, let's sit down and talk about it. Let's not just shout from across the room or across the country. Let's actually come together. That was his entire premise. So I think you're right. I think that's, you know, having those voices that may disagree coming together and saying, let's. Let's have a conversation is exactly Charlie's heart in all this. And so I. I pray that's what we see, you know, come together. Let's talk about where we agree, where we disagree, and on the things we disagree with. Let's do it respectfully and then move on to make America better. And I think that's. That's the prayer in all of it.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, I think, you know, some in our audience, Ben, are saying, though, hey, if we don't have answers, we all, we have our questions. So I think Asking the questions might be just part of that journey, but I do hope that we get some answers ultimately.
David Brody
No, no, absolutely, absolutely. Asking the questions, I think is absolutely legitimate. It's, it's when you have, when you're using questions as evidence, you know, that's where it becomes an issue, where it's like, hey, we got all these questions based on those questions. Now we know the answers. It's like, well, no, no, no, you still have, you have questions and I have questions. We should always be asking those questions, but don't conflate those with the answers. And until we get the answers that say, okay, these are legitimate concerns we have and give the, you know, the organization or the people or whoever is behind it, whether it's the, you know, the assassination of Charlie Kirk or 911 or any of the other issues that we still consider in this country, let's step back and say, okay, these are the questions. Who actually has the answers? Let's talk about it.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, well, I think you, you spoke directly to the frustration. We still don't have a lot of answers from 9 11. We still don't have a lot of answers from President Trump's attempted assassination. They're just, and obviously Charlie's. There are just a lot of questions. And I think that, I hope that Turning Point leadership will start taking the lead on asking those questions, Ben, because I think that will go a long way in helping quell some of the speculation that you're discussing. Ben, we're going to be praying for your safety and everyone's safety there at Turning Point this week. And thanks for being with us. Coming up, we're headed to the White House where some newly minted plaques about presidents past have people. Well, they have them talking, that's for sure. Also later, more on answers from terror in Australia. What did authorities know and when did they know it there at Bondi Beach? We have those answers just ahead on American Sunrise. All sponsored I am the association of Mature American Citizens is the conservative voice for Americans 50 and older. AMAC is fighting for the values that you hold dear. Join today. Together we can right the course of America. White House officials have installed new plaques along President Trump's Presidential Walk of Fame, which is right outside the West Wing. The plaques target former presidents, including Joe Biden and Barack Obama. Biden's labels that Biden's is labeled or Biden's plaque, excuse me, labels the 46th president as sleepy Joe Biden and even calls him by far the worst president in American history. That's a quote from that plaque. The Obama plaque describes him as one of the most divisive figures in American history. It also criticizes his policies and legacy. For more, let's bring in Rav, correspondent and the host of Breaking Point right here on Real America's Voice, David Zier. David, good morning. Hi. Good morning, Terrence. Busy day at the White House here. Trump expected to sign executive order reclassifying marijuana as a Schedule 3 drugs in line with anabolic steroids and Tylenol with codeine taking out of a schedule one classification. And then he's going to sign the NDAA. Big news tonight at 6:00pm in the Oval and very exciting here at the White House as usual. That ndaa you mentioned, $901 billion for national defense, that is huge. But it also comes amid new headaches from Dan Bongino resigning to the fight over health care. All of those are also issues that are kind of lingering over what's happening there at the White House. Yeah, well, the NDAA is important for Trump because it codifies at least I think a dozen executive orders and one of them, you know, I've been covering the Pentagon as new media is the codify ratification of his Trump defense acquisition executive order, which works with the rapid capabilities office in the army, the Air Force and the Navy to put out weapons systems and defense systems and build them quicker in partnership with private industry. So it's a success for Donald Trump. What's the White House's reaction to the passing of that health care bill, the Republican led health care bill in the House, but also couch with the fact that there will be a vote on those subsidies next year, the Obamacare subsidies? Well, I think it should please them to a degree. The I think there's an extension on the subsidies for two years proposed in that. But you know, anything to lower health care costs for Americans is critical. I just gaggled with Kevin Hassett from the National Economic Council who's a candidate to be the new Fed chair. And I talked to him about affordability issues. First time buyer interest rates, maybe could they propose something like that to get young people into housing. But the health care is huge. You know, if you're in business in say in New York or California, you're paying 40, $45,000 a year for a health plan. If you're a small business owner, yeah, that's huge and it's prohibitive for many. David's here reporting for us at the White House. David, always good to see you, my friend. Appreciate it. Thank you, Terrence, of course. Let's switch gears a little bit and get a quick check of your forecast. Weather Nation's Tracy Anthony joining us now with the very latest. Also, we're going to put up a QR code here at the bottom of your screen that you're more than welcome to go ahead and scan and join our friends over at Weather Nation. Windy conditions behind you there, Tracy.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, you know, we've had some windy conditions from the Pacific Northwest to the Front Range. I don't know if you noticed it yesterday in Denver. I know a few people definitely said they did. But 90 million people across the country are under some type of wind advisory or high wind warning. So these systems that are rolling on shore across the Pacific Northwest really packing a punch with the wind energy over the next couple of days. And we've had winds clocked at over 100 miles per hour and the winds are going to impact over 30 states over the next couple of days. So very, very impactful here with these systems. But want to show you what's going on here this morning we do have one system working across the North Central, some cold air working in on the backside and some more moisture coming on shore in the Pacific Northwest. So I'll continue to break this down here next hour and make sure you drop in your home so we can do some more.
David Brody
Hometown forecast Aaron's There you go, Tracy. Appreciate it once again. Go to get a rumble. YouTube Let us know where you're hanging out. And who knows, you may be one of our lucky viewers to get a hometown forecast. Thanks so much, Tracy. We'll check in with you in just a little bit. Up next, though, President Trump versus Venezuela. Trump designated the Maduro regime a foreign terror organization. So how does this ultimately impact the United States on the world stage? We'll take a look next. First, though, a quick look at this day in history. It was on this date in 1917 that the 18th Amendment to the US Constitution authorizing the prohibition of alcohol was approved by the US Congress and, excuse me, and sent to the states for ratification. These United States were dry until prohibition was overturned in 1933. Cheers. We'll all drink to that one. Right, more American Sunrise coming your way in two minutes.

Welcome back everybody to American Sunrise. All right, President Trump declared the Maduro regime in Venezuela a foreign terrorist organization this week and he had this to say on the all important subject of oil. Take a look. Just a blockade. Not going to let anybody going through that should be going through. You remember they took all of our energy rights, they took all of our oil from not that long ago and we want it back but they took it. They illegally took it. All right, for more let's bring in the founder of Defense of Democracies. That would be Cliff May. Cliff, great to have you back on the show. So here's a question for you. How much of all of this is about seizing the drugs. That's what we've heard coming to America. Because really, honestly, this seems to me to be just as much about the oil and the ultimate regime change that they're looking for. And also second part of my very long run on question, explain what the President means exactly when he says, quote, they took all of our oil and we want it back. They illegally took it. I'd love for you to kind of get into that as well. Good morning to you, sir. Good morning to you. Good to be with you guys. So I think it's all of the above and more. I think if you look at the national security strategy that just came out, you see that what the President has in mind is he doesn't want South America, Latin America, continuing along the path it has long been on, which means being essentially influence driven, directed by America's enemies. And by America's enemies, I mean communist China, I mean Russia, I mean the Islamic Republic of Tehran, which is all over places like Venezuela, but not just there. I mean Hezbollah, which is a proxy of Tehran and is a terrorist organization. He talks about it in terms of money because this is America first and it's your interest and it's your money. And we had companies over there and they had rights and those rights have been abrogated. And we're also not going to let the drugs come out of this country and probably others as well and go and end up in the United States. But he also, you know, there's something called the Monroe Doctrine. When John Kerry at one point said it's no longer operative, I don't think he understood what it was. I think when he said it's no longer operative, he meant we're not going to interfere in South America's affair fares. What it really meant was we don't want European empires and powers hostile to us taking over essentially countries that are in our hemisphere. We're not going to allow that. The. It's back. The Monroe Doctrine is back. And so I think he wants to force out, particularly China, Russia, Iran, part of what we call the Axis of aggressors. One more point. There are three countries in particular that are really enemies of adversaries of the United States. One, of course, is Venezuela. One, of course, of course is Cuba, which is deeply involved in Venezuela. And one is Nicaragua. And I think he's, I think he has his eye on all three, starting with Venezuela.
Dr. Gina
Cliff. Russian President Vladimir Putin says that Russia will continue fighting in Ukraine if peace talks about fail. Putin demands Ukraine give up territory and drop plans to join NATO. These are conditions Ukraine is rejecting. So Ukrainian President Zelensky says his country needs strong security guarantees before any agreement. What will happen here? We. You know, I think Americans are tired of waiting for all this.
David Brody
They may be. And let me tell you, Ukrainians are tired, too, because they're getting hit every day by missiles and drones, and it's a cold winter and they've got no power. Look, let me translate from the Russian what Putin is saying. He's saying, I'm going to do this militarily or there's going to be a surrender. He's not looking for peace. He's not looking for compromise. He says very clearly. He's been saying it for years. Ukraine's not a country. They don't have a right to be a country. They have to think of themselves as Russian. They can't have a democracy. They will be ruled by me in the Kremlin. I'm like the czar. I'm going to make them. I'm going to make them into Russians. And by the way, part of the way he has been doing that is is abducting children, taking them back to Russia. And you're there not to speak Ukrainian. They're not to think of themselves as Ukrainian. They are to think of themselves as Russian. This is existential for the people of Ukraine. They want their own country. They were guaranteed their own country in 1994 under a memo that the US signed, that Russia signed, that said their territory would be respected if they would only give up their nuclear weapons. President Clinton twisted their arm to do that. They did that. They deserve that. They have a democracy. I was there for their last parliamentary elections. Multiple parties, free press, people very proud of the fact that they're running elections. Putin wants to make them into little Russians. And by the way, they are the best fighters in Europe right now by far. If he gets them as soldiers, he'll put a bayonet in their back, and I think he'll march them westward towards NATO countries. So I think that's very dangerous. Putin wants victory. Putin doesn't want compromise. Putin doesn't want peace, doesn't want diplomacy. Very important to understand who this guy is. So let me just kind of dig one step deeper, because publicly, Putin appears to be open, or at least he is postured as if he's open to some sort of peace agreement. But it sounds to me that privately he couldn't care less. He would say, and I'm going to put this colloquially, screw your piece. I think that's true. He hasn't made any compromises whatsoever. He hasn't offered any compromises whatsoever. What he's really saying is let's negotiate the terms of Ukraine's surrender. And by the way, there's a bit of a red herring as far as NATO is concerned. First of all, NATO is a defensive alliance. There's no possibility. He's not afraid that Danish soldiers and Belgian soldiers and Spanish soldiers are going to come marching into Moscow. He's not, he's smart. Whatever else he is, he's a smart guy. He knows that's true. It's also not, not possible, it never was for Ukraine in the foreseeable future to get into NATO. Why? Because to accede to NATO, you need absolute unanimity among its members. There was never a point at which Hungary, Turkey and even Germany when they were getting oil and gas from Russia, we're going to say, yes, we will accept Ukraine into NATO. That was never a possibility. So in a way, okay, if that's what it would take to have a, to have to get a ceasefire, I'm not going to talk about peace, say it's not going to go into NATO. It should say, NATO shouldn't say that because NATO shouldn't surrender. But Ukraine could just say, okay, we have no, we're not going to. We, we agree. We're not going to apply for admission to NATO into which they will not get anyway. That would be okay. That's giving up a watermelon for Lent. Cliff. Cliff May putting it in. I wasn't expecting that one, Cliff, but okay, like that one. I did not have watermelon and lent on my bingo card. Thank you, Cliff. Appreciate it. Thanks, guys. Thanks, Cliff. Oh, that's great. All right, coming up, lots of people enjoy gardening as a fun, relaxing hobby. Not me, by the way, but does it also have health benefits? Fits those answers. Next on American Sunrise. Everybody.

Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. G. Thanks for joining us today. It is time now for today's health news, sponsored by the Wellness Company and under the microscope today, the health benefits of gardening. New research shows that gardening may help seniors reduce knee pain and lower the risk of arthritis. A study found that older adults who regularly work in their gardens experience less joint pain than those who do not. It's that simple. Experts say gardening provides gentle exercise that helps keep knees strong and flexible. It can also improve mood and overall well being. Health specialists say that simple activities like gardening can play an important role in staying active and healthy as people age. And you cannot negate the benefits of grounding, which are well documented in the data. The time you spend outside in the dirt with the best connection to earth is always going to make you healthier and the benefits are absolutely undeniable. A new administration in Washington, D.C. has brought a lot of positive changes when it comes to fixing our broken health care system. The reality, though, there's only so much that the government can do. If we really want to make America healthy again, it's going to start at home with each of us. That's where the Wellness Company comes in. You see and hear from their doctors on this network and you know that their products are the gold standard when it comes to keeping you safe and healthy. The Wellness Company gives you the opportunity to be sure you're prepared for whatever happens with their series of prescription medical kits. These kits have an assortment of life saving medications and guidance guidebooks that assist in the proper use of the medications. Also, the Wellness Company offers a variety of products from parasite cleanses to methylene blue weight loss. So much more can help you stay healthy and live a longer, more satisfying life. Make America Healthy Again starts at home. Protect the health of yourself and your family. Go to TWC Health RAV today in order. That's TWC Health RAV. Use the promo code RAV. That will save you 10%. Do you ever go hog hunting?
David Brody
No, no, I can confirm I've never been hog hunting.
Dr. Gina
I know my husband went hog hunting today and apparently everybody that goes on this, apparently these things are very, very overpopulated in Florida. They destroy other animals habitats, farmland, they breed like crazy. So he believes it's a humane thing. He's doing today doesn't matter because we eat meat all the time and I guess I'd rather kill a hog than a pig. I don't know. But anyway, apparently I'm getting these hogs today in my freezer and I think I need some advice because I don't know what to do with them.
David Brody
Well, the clear. Yeah, clearly we need to have a segment on that tomorrow, hog hunting on American Sunrise.
Dr. Gina
We need to kind of like gardening, only different.
David Brody
That's right. Different type of thumb. Okay. This week, of course, President Trump ordered a full blockade of Venezuelan oil. He designated the Maduro regime a foreign terror organization, terrorist organization. Trump has already seized a ship heading to Cuba. He's also ordered several strikes on suspected drug boats. We know all about that. So how has this impacted the situation in the area? Well, let's head to that area. Rav correspondent, the co host of Law and Border, that would be Oscar L. Blue Ramirez is on the ground this morning in Colombia. Bogota, to be exact. Oscar, tell us what's going on down there in South America. And I understand you're heading towards the Venezuelan border soon. Good morning. Yes, David, thank you so much for the invitation. Yes, tonight we're heading to the border of Venezuela, the one that is more agitated and the one that has more tension. And by the way, that border was the one that funneled the millions of Venezuelans that they are now, you know, in the United States territory. But what they are context, what they are telling us right now, as soon as Donald Trump, the president of the United States, designated the regime as a terrorist organization, the National Guard of Venezuela, was deployed to all the borders that they're connected with with Colombia. There's high tensions right now at these borders. And agitator groups and also radical groups have, you know, have protested in these borders because they're upset. Look at this, David. They're upset because Donald Trump has shut down the airspace and they're completely, you know, upset that this is happening. Also that they're designating every single regime, every single cartel as a terrorist organization. The borders with Venezuela and Colombia, they're extremely at high alert. This is what they're telling us. And also it is quite dangerous for journalists to arrive over here. Recently, a journalist from Chile was snatched by the authorities of the National Guard of Venezuela, taken over into custody over their territory and made him wait for almost eight hours and search his phone for what he was saying. So to where we're going, we already know the dangers. But more importantly, we're gonna inform everything that is going on between the Venezuelan territory over there in those borders, David. Oh, my goodness. Obviously, be safe. We want that, number one, first and foremost. So help me understand the danger that they're. What are they thinking exactly here? Because we've heard about that. Trump has talked about land strikes inside Venezuela. So what's some of the major dangers they're concerned about? Specifically? Their major concern is that there's a possibility that the United States is going to enter and they don't know towards where. So that is the reason why. And they're trying to send a message to all the people in the Venezuelans that they live in the Colombian side, that, you know, they need to come back. They need to come back to the territory and to their land. And also the Venezuelans that they're trying to escape from Venezuela into Colombia, they're being hassled and they're being harassed by the Venezuelan authorities. Also extortion, that they know that they're carrying these suitcases and they're asking them where you're going, you're going to Colombia to do what you know, you cannot leave our land. Also, they have safeguarded and they have protected the National Guard of Venezuela. The routes that they were particularly irregularly crossing illegally from back and forth. That tells you that they are potentially, you know, in high tension and high alert, and they're a little bit afraid of what can enter and what can happen. And the next incoming days. This because Donald Trump has been completely strict and hard on Nicolas Maduro, on the dictator, to tell him your regime is designated as an Arco terrorist organization. So, Oscar, what's the bottom line here in terms of what you think Trump is ultimately trying to do here? Is he basically trying to bankrupt the Maduro regime with the oil to basically force regime change? Is that your sense of what exactly is happening, or is it something more than that? One of the things is that. But I think the most important thing is what happened in 2007, 2008, when the Venezuelan people rise against Chavez. I think that this is one of the things that Donald Trump is sending a message to the Venezuelan people to have courage and to stand up against their own government. And that the Venezuelan people, as the Mexican people, were sick and tired of narco governments. And ultimately, at the end of the day, there's more than 12 million migrants of Venezuela that escaped this regime. And the majority of the people that they're scattered all over the world, they're waiting to see what is going to be the reaction inside of Venezuela and also outside that there's going to be in the next incoming days, more than likely protests around the world that they are, you know, basically saying that they want the regime to end. Oscar Elbalou Ramirez, you are a man of courage. We're praying for protection for you, Lord. I just pray, Lord, that a hedge of protection surrounds Oscar and his team as they go down there. We thank you. Thank you for your time, Oscar, this morning. Thank you so much, Xavier. Like always, it's an honor to be with you. All right, thanks. Oscar Wilde. Coming up, politics amidst tragedy is Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer using the Brown University shooting as a rallying cry for gun control. Break it down next on American Center.

Welcome back to American Sunrise. It's time to stay awake, not woke. And who is woke today? Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. Schumer wasted no time politicizing the tragedy and is calling for more gun control after the Brown University shooting and the Bondi beach terror attack. Take a look at this.
David Brody
If Australia can find courage to act after a tragedy like the one in Bondi Beach, Congress should certainly find the will to act after a tragedy like the one at Brown University. For the sake of those who were killed this weekend and for the sake of so many lives we can save moving forward, Congress must again act against gun violence and act against all forms of violent hate.
Dr. Gina
Let's bring in Dr. Gina, David and Terrence for more here. Terrence, what say you can't say that. This is really surprising coming from Schumer to see this as his response.
David Brody
No, not at all. And while I agree with him that Congress should be acting against all forms of violent hate, I also would double down and say Congress needs to try to implement measures that deal with people who have mental illnesses and deal with people who commit these crimes, not the vehicle for committing the crimes. That is guns. That needs to be the focus, dealing with the people and trying to put safeguards in place to prevent people from committing these sorts of heinous crimes. David and Gina. Yeah, look, I mean, this is a broken record. I mean, this is a template. It happens all the time. We know this. I mean, we can just queue up segments that we have done from a conservative perspective and liberals have done from a liberal perspective and, you know, just put it on the boilerplate. There's no doubt about it. I mean, this is what he does. So this is not surprising. But let's remember the gun used in this shooting was a 9 millimeter handgun. A pistol. 9 millimeter pistol. That's like one of the most, if not the most popular handgun, if you will, in that size. Not an assault weapon. It's not an assault weapon. So it's the most popular out there in the United States. So this idea. So now what you want to ban what, nine millimeter pistols? Are you insane? I mean, so this is the left, right, Gina? I mean, it's gone from assault weapons to, oh, now we're going to talk about 9 millimeter pistols. That's the whole point here.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, that's such a great point, David. You know, and the more he runs his mouth, the more people run to the gun stores and buy more guns. I know my kids, all they wanted for Christmas this year. Guns and ammo, mama. Guns and ammo. I'm like, all right. But, you know, it really. It's good for gun sales. It's bad for American cynicism. Because the fact of the matter is he knows everything we just discussed. He knows all of this. This is about politics, pure and simple. This has nothing to do with him believing in any sort of good policy or caring about the violence or caring about the shooting. It has nothing to do with that. It's just. It's that authenticity that is so amiss in our body politic today. Outside of President Trump, who's sometimes a little too authentic, maybe, but that's what I love about President Trump, is how he has really exposed folks like Schumer for their complete and utter lack of authenticity. And I think there's just a lower public tolerance for it today. I think you're right, Gina. It's just simply bad policy. I mean, even if you start with guns, right, you would move on to other weapons. You would have to ban knives at that point, because to Terrence's point, it really is a mental health crisis, and you have to address the problem at its root. Yeah, but we have to be very careful on that notion. As somebody who came out of the mental health field, I just want to say that 99% of the people who go through school, whether it's sociology, psychology, whatever you want to go, whatever you want to talk about, whatever field, whatever college, whatever university, about 99% of them are raging leftists, and they're way indoctrinated by the time they get out of school. I literally needed to unlearn everything I learned to be able to effectively counsel people when I graduated. And so I think we have to be really careful about putting it in the hands of. Because what is a mental illness? Are you mentally ill? If you supported Donald Trump, Are you mentally ill? If you were in Washington, D.C. on January 6th? Are you mentally ill? If you like to own guns and like to go hunting? Every law is someone's morality injected into society. It's a very important basic concept. When we're considering any sort of legislation and when we're thinking about saying, oh, well, it's the mental health, well, that's really easy to say. There's a very complicated path when you get to the actual public policy, because who makes those rules? Well, they're gonna say mental health professionals. Well, who are the mental health professionals? And who are they gonna decide can't have guns? And I guarantee you, exhibit A, B, C and D are sitting right in front of you right now, along with our entire audience at that point.
David Brody
Slippery slope. Slippery slope.
Dr. Gina
Very slippery slope. So I think we say no. We have a second Amendment. We have gun laws on the books. It's good enough. Leave us alone. Leave us alone. Let's talk about restoring our cult country to God. Let's talk about getting people back in churches. Let's talk about getting fathers back in the home. Stop our welfare state. Bring churches and neighborhoods and families back into when people are in need. That is the cure. It is not talking about mental health. It is not taking away guns. It's not limiting guns either. And I don't care if they label them assault rifles. All right, great discussion, as always. Still to come on American Sunrise, after terror charges were announced for the alleged Bondi beach massacre suspect, leaders of all faiths and all communities are bridging the gaps that divide them. In Focus Today, Australian authorities have charged a 24 year old man with 59 counts, including 15 counts of murder, as well as committing a terrorist act. All of this in connection with the deadly Bondi beach attack there in Sydney, Australia. Police say the suspect and his father opened fire on crowds in Sydney, killing 15 people and injuring dozens more. The father was killed by police at the scene. The surviving suspect, the son in this case, was arrested after being critically wounded. Officials have labeled the attack a terrorist incident. Let's now bring in the evangelist, pastor and founder of Revival today, Jonathan Shuttlesworth for more on this. Jonathan, good to see you. Good to see you too Terrence. You know, as I've been covering this story, I've tried to set aside politics, set aside religion and focus on Good versus evil. And it seems to me this is a classic example of evil being at the root of this attack. Evil's at the root of it. And people need to wake up that Islam. To say that there's a problem with Islam is not to say there's a problem with Arabs. It's not to say that all Muslims will do this by any means. But this is taught. You're not going to have a Christian father and son go out to carry out a massacre or a Jewish father and son or pretty much Buddhist father and son. This is taught this. You, you could get any, any weekend and you could pull clips from Palestine or London or America of imams, the pastors in Islam, telling you that this is what you're a correct, you're correct in the Islamic faith if you do this. And until people address that, this is going to continue as long as we pretend like this has an equal chance of happening from a synagogue or a church or a Buddhist temple or a Hindu temple. There is one religion that teaches that you defend and advance that religion through killing unbelievers, and it's Islam. So to your point, then here's a pointed question for you. Can Islam ever coexist with Christianity or Judaism? No, it can't coexist. Islam can't even coexist with itself. Look at Sunni, Shia wars. It is a violent, it is a religion that calls for violence. And as long as people want to treat it like these are outliers, then these, these problems are going to continue. It's not a gun problem. It's not a mental health problem. It is a problem to import people into your country that believe 72% of people from several Islamic countries believe the proper penalty for adultery is to kill the woman. 72%. That's a Pew Research poll. So until, until people will say that and lose the 1990s indoctrination that I had in public school, then this will, this is going to continue and continue. I'm glad President Trump is, it has no problem saying it. And I don't believe it's ever going to be able to set up shop in America. So at least there's that. All right, Jonathan Shuttlesworth, we'll have to leave the conversation there. It's always good to talk to you, though, my friend. We'll talk soon. Merry Christmas, Darren. Merry Christmas to you, brother. Be sure to tune into Revival today. This coming Sunday morning. It's here on RAV at 9am we're back with the second hour of American Sunrise. Stick around. Coming up on this second hour of America Sunrise, President Trump addressed the nation from the White House last night, touting his administration's accomplishments during the first year of his second term, even rolling out key economic proposals. We'll show you what he said in just a moment. Plus, the House of Representatives voted to pass the GOP's health care bill yesterday. That bill does not include extensions for Obamacare subsidies and it does face an uncertain future future when it arrives in the Senate. We'll break down the details and what it all means and costs you in the long run. Later, former special counsel Jack Smith appeared for a closed door interview with lawmakers yesterday on Capitol Hill alleging that he found proof that President Trump criminally conspired to overturn the results of the 2020 election. Those stories and so much more right now on the second act of American Sunrise. Good morning America.

Good morning to you guys. President Trump's speech last night, I mean, it was high energy, that's for sure. And other than that, not much news. Dr. G. I guess the money to the troops, that would be the big news, that he's going to give out checks to each military member.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, well, he just, he needs an audience if he's going to be speaking. He gets his energy off of an audience. You can just see the facial expression there. He almost looks pained. Right, Terrence? I mean, this doesn't, so it wasn't, wasn't his best. But every speech can't be your best. I just, I think that the people around him need to set up 25, 50 people in the room where he's speaking. And I think you'll have a whole different energy level.
David Brody
Yeah. Well, here's kind of the long and short of that speech. American troops, as David mentioned, around the world are going to get a bonus check for $1,776 for Christmas 1776. I think you get the relevance thereof. It's one of the highlights from President Trump's primetime address from the White House last night. In general, the president used the podium to try and convince Americans that the economy and affordability in particular isn't as bad as many might believe. Upheaval at the FBI question mark. The bureau's second in charge, Dan Bongino, says he's resigning that month. Bongino hasn't even been on the job for quite a year. His time at the FBI was marked by clashes with the Justice Department over the handling of the Epstein files cases. Both President Trump and FBI Director Cash Patel are praising the work that Bongino has done. And former special prosecutor Jack Smith is defending the cases that he brought against President Trump. During closed door testimony before the House Judiciary Committee committee on Wednesday, Smith told lawmakers, quote, if asked whether to prosecute a former president based on the same facts today, I would do so regardless of whether the president was a Republican or Democrat. Those remarks were released as excerpts from his opening statement. That's a quick check of your headlines. I'll have more headlines coming your way in just a little bit. But first let's get a quick check of your forecast. Weather Nation meteorologist Tracy Anthony standing by with your hometown forecast. TT Good morning. Hey good morning.
Dr. Gina
We got a couple hometown forecasts today taking you out to northwest Ohio. This is areas of Toledo where they're in for a big cool down. So they've got a system working through today. They're going to be dealing with the rain, the wind and then those temperatures plummet, going from a daytime high of 51 degrees today down to 27 by tomorrow. So, so that was from a cat fan on Getter. Now Sioux Falls is our next one. This is from just us Rumble. This was on our Rumble feed. They're going to be dealing with some snow in Sioux Falls throughout the day today. Look at their temperatures. They're plummeting as well, going from 31 down to overnight.
David Brody
Lows in the single digits and wind.
Dr. Gina
Chills will be sub zero. But they level off at least for the holiday week ahead.
David Brody
And then want to take take you.
Dr. Gina
Out to one more stop. This is show low Arizona. I've never been here, never heard of this so I had to look this one up as well. But 60s over the course of the next couple of days, a mix of sun and clouds. This is the forecast you're going to want for the next week. This was sent in via X from the dog realtor in AC So love getting, you know, these different cities to break down the forecast. Really. The wind is going to be the big weather impact from coast to coast, 90 million people under wind advisories throughout the day today, Terrence. So I know people in Colorado and a lot of my co workers as.
David Brody
Well at Weather Nation been talking about.
Dr. Gina
The gusty winds, saying they couldn't even sleep, those winds were so strong.
David Brody
Yeah, winds were pretty strong. In fact, the power company here even sent out warnings saying that they may be cutting power to certain areas in order to keep power lines from falling and potentially sparking a blaze. Something like that happened probably about four or five years ago. Power lines fell and caused a massive blaze that took down, literally parts of an entire community. So, yeah, we were all on guard here and we'll remain so. Absolutely. All right, Tracy, I know you didn't ask me any of that, but I gave it to you anyway. Always good to talk to you.
Dr. Gina
Good perspective.
David Brody
Yeah, you as well. All right, we'll talk soon. Let's get you over to David Brody now. David, good morning. Good morning. Good morning, Tbates. All right. President Trump delivering a primetime address from the White House last night, highlighting progress on things like the economy, border security, other issues. Here's some of what the president said tonight. After 11 months, our border is secure, inflation has stopped, wages are up, prices are down, our nation is strong, America is respected, and our country is back stronger than ever before. We're poised for an economic boom the likes of which the world has never seen. All right. Joining us now with reaction is Arizona congressman and gubernatorial candidate Andy Biggs with us on the show. Good morning, Congressman. So curious to get your thoughts on what the president had to say last night. He says we're poised for that economic boom, but that's an acknowledgment that it's not quite here yet. Yeah, but I, I, I do think it was a good speech, quite frankly. It was a, it was a presidential speech. You didn't have the music and the pomp. You know, we, we're used to Donald Trump speaking at rallies and, and this, you know, YMCA dancing and that type of thing. But I thought the speech was good because he addressed all of the issues that the left and some, some even of our more moderate side of Republicans are kind of griping at. They want, they want prices to be dropped immediately. And they're not, I guess people just are not understanding that the devastation caused by the Biden administration does take a little bit of time to turn around. He's done a great job turning it around. And I liked this speech myself. All right, Congressman, soon to be governor, let's talk health care a little bit. If you don't mind you and your colleagues also obviously had a couple of big votes on healthcare yesterday. The one main one is basically retooling Obamacare and kind of creating an alternative to Obamacare. However, having said that, four of your colleagues did cross the aisle to vote with Democrats to have a vote next year on renewing those Obamacare subsidies. Your thoughts on how all of this ultimately came down and are you happy with at least the retooling effort for Obamacare, which now heads to the Senate? Well, with the retooling effort, I think it's a nice start. It's not where I've been for last, well, several years actually. But we all introduced legislation almost eight months ago trying to actually build a completely different highway for Americans so they can actually have more control over their health care. Premiums will go down and they would be able to actually get federal government out of the system as much as possible and get it back to choice and freedom for Americans. So this was a nice first step. It kind of takes a little bit out of it. We're going to reduce premiums by about 12%. That's coming from CBO, who I don't always agree with, and it's going to save $30 billion over 10 years. That's a pittance compared to what Obamacare otherwise is going to cost us. So I think it was a nice first step. I'm for more in January and that's a really good part of it. The other aspect of it, the discharge petition, I'm disgruntled about. Let's just put it that way. Okay? No, you can't just leave it there, Congressman. I'm sorry, you put your toe in the water, so I'm gonna go on and push you in. Disgruntled about what specifically, please, sir? Well, I think the process is bad when you go over and walk across the aisle with the Democrats to actually forced something that no Republican has ever voted for ever. I guess. I guess there was one. I'm sorry, there was one that voted for it when it originally came out, but nobody else has ever voted for that. And so you went with the Democrats to do that. I don't. So I don't like the process, number one. Number two, the proposal is for a three year clean extension. In other words, no changes, no. No attacking of the fraud. That's there some estimates of the fraud. So they're claiming this is going to impact 22 to 30 million Americans, but when you take into account the fraud, the estimate actually gets reduced to 7 million people. So there's no attempt to stop that fraud. So, for instance, Terrence, think of it this way. You've got millions of people who are receiving benefits, who don't know they're receiving benefits because they don't even know they have these subsidized policies. So the money's going directly from the federal government to the insurance company. The individual doesn't know they have the care, have the coverage, and they're not even using that coverage. They may have double coverage. And so you have much fraud there, literally billions and billions, tens of billions, hundreds of billions of dollars of fraud. And that's going to go on and continue on with the proposal for Hakeem Jeffries plan.
Dr. Gina
Congressman, tell us what's going on with this pot bill. I'm very interested in this.
David Brody
So what's going on with the pot is that there's, there's an attempt, I mean, the president, the White House seems to be okay with this, to re re categorize marijuana from a Class 1 drug to a Class 3 drug, ostensibly supposed to be for this notion of, for two things to get research to be able to be done, number one, and number two, to basically acknowledge that many of the states have legalized pot in some form or another and to let it go, I'm not happy with that. And I'll tell you why. Because while I have this libertarian streak in me that would normally say, well, it's up to the individual, but it would be up to the individual but for the fact that there are pathologies that come out with the use of marijuana and other illicit, what we consider to be illicit drugs or formerly illicit drugs. And those pathologies end up getting covered by the American taxpayer through a social welfare safety net. And as long as you have that social welfare safety net, I have a real problem with liberalizing all of these types of, I guess we'd call them vices, but certainly the use of marijuana and other drugs, yeah, I think it's.
Dr. Gina
Extraordinarily dangerous, especially with all of the data that's coming out on the rates of schizophrenia and other mental illnesses related to pot. So I was just curious to get your take. And I tend to have a libertarian streak, too, Congressman, so I totally get where you're coming from. Andy Biggs, thank you so much. Best of luck in your race. Where can people, people look up and learn about it?
David Brody
You can go to bigsforarizona.com that'll take you to everything you need to know, but wish you all a merry Christmas and a good holiday season.
Dr. Gina
Thank you to you, too.
David Brody
Merry Christmas, Congressman. Always good to see you. All right, coming up, Fannie Willis. Fani Willis, what is it exactly? Is it Fani Willis back in the hot seat? The Fulton County DA defends her now dropped election case against Donald Trump. Full story after the break. Stay with us, everybody.
Dr. Gina
Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Emily Finn. It's great to have you with us this morning. Time now to drain the swamp. And this morning we are flushing out Fani Willis. The Fulton county district attorney went on offense Wednesday, defending her now dismissed 2020 election interference case against President Trump during a contentious hearing at the Georgia State Capitol. During over three hours of testimony before a state Senate committee, Willis rejected claims that the prosecution was politically motivated, mismanaged or coordinated with Democrats in Washington. She insisted the case was built on evidence, not politics, and said the 19 defendants, including Trump, deserved to be indicted. Joining us now with analysis is Georgia's state senator and congressional candidate, Colton Moore. Senator, thank you so much for being with us this morning. What more can you tell us about this?
David Brody
Yeah, I mean, roughly an hour after I talked to Terrance Bates yesterday, I'm sitting there directly behind Fani Willis, and she is a nervous wreck. She sees me, demands one of her security guards, body guys come over and sit right next to me. We sit there in that hearing and we uncover some things that we've never uncovered before. There's a account that's, we don't know how it's been funded. Fani Willis don't know how it was funded, but this account was used to track her media earnings basically throughout the time of this case. And we learned that $600 million, 600, close to a billion dollars worth of earned media is what she was essentially generating from all of her impressions throughout this case. We also learned that on the same day that she sends letters to Brian Kemp, our governor, Brad Raffensperger, our secretary of state, and Chris Carr, our attorney general, to make sure they retain all their records. It was the same day that Jack Smith got his case started. It was the exact same time that the DOJ leaders were resigning from the DOJ and working in Alvin Bragg's office. So Fani likes to claim that she's miss Queen of the rico. But what she uncovered yesterday is she was certainly a part of a RICO effort to take down President Trump and the 18 others. And ultimately, anytime she was pressed on any hard question, she always reverted back to some crazy answer like, well, you're only asking that because I'm a black woman, which is absolutely ridiculous. I don't know where she's come from before she landed in Georgia, but in Georgia, all races were all one blood. That excuse doesn't work.
Dr. Gina
Well, no wonder you described her as a nervous wreck yesterday with it doesn't sound like she can answer to all of these things that you've been, you've been bringing up here. What do you think is next for Fani Willis?
David Brody
Well, I think Fani Willis is going to have to come back again. I mean, she's fought very hard against these subpoenas up until this point. Well, she's already left precedence. Now she's shown up and she's testified. She needs to be testifying again. We've got some follow up questions. But also think about this. She had no idea that her attorney's office was working with the J6 committee and literally tens of thousands of dollars was paid for her staff to travel there, including Nathan Wade's and to coordinate with the J6 committee. So how in the world is does she have no idea her boyfriend going to Washington D.C. and what he's doing while he's running this case? I mean, she just continues to fumble and fumble and I think yesterday was a big victory for all of us who have been in this fight for so long.
Dr. Gina
Her stories certainly aren't adding up. What would accountability look like to you?
David Brody
Well, to me personally, and maybe this is a long shot, but I think we just dissolved Fulton county altogether. Give north Fulton to the folks of north Fulton and make south Fulton the county of Georgia governed by the state Capitol, the legislature and overseen by the governor and the attorney general. That would be my dream. But what I think is probably most likely to happen is the state legislature comes together, recognizes that Fani Willis doesn't have the power to be a check and a balance on the Georgia Capitol. Right. She kept saying that anybody who comes into my town and they violate the law, I can prosecute them. Them. Right. We never got back to the original question, which is why did she release the indictment before the grand jury ever concluded? I mean, she was taking the power of the grand jury even back in this case. So there's got to be a law that separates her power from the state of Georgia's power. Especially because there is no political alignment there whatsoever. And ultimately we have to defund her. Let the people of Fulton county fund her because she's, she's got accounts, she doesn't even know how her funded and are being spared for her malicious ways.
Dr. Gina
Well, Senator, it sounds like she is certainly going to continue to be a nervous wreck. Thank you so much for joining us this morning and giving us the update.
David Brody
Yeah. Merry Christmas. Thank you.
Dr. Gina
Merry Christmas to you. Coming up, we're headed down to Wall street for the opening bell and some insight on what the shocking down market demotion for the Oscars tells us about the movie business. There's more American Sunrise in just two minutes. Stay with us.

As you can see, pre market trading looking pretty good. All of the indices are in the green, the dow S&P 500 and the NASDAQ all up at the moment. It's going to be interesting to see how the markets react to President Trump's primetime address to the nation yesterday during which he talked about affordability in the economy. We of course, will be watching it for you throughout the day and let you know how the markets ultimately shape up. But first, let's get you over to David Brody. David, good morning. Good morning to you. Bates. Time now for our daily dose of dollars and common sense. And we've got American Sunrise EARLY EDITION host, the guy behind Jake's takes up stacks. That would be Jake, Jake Novak. Jake. Well, talking about monitoring the markets. So you've got two pieces of breaking news for us this morning. We got inflation numbers here and also Trump media making news. Talk to us about it. Yeah, those great numbers you just saw from Terence, there's a reason for them. We just got the inflation report, consumer inflation, the CPI consumer price index for November and it came in pretty clearly lower than people expected. It was expected to come in at 3.1% and it came in at 2.7% so that's a nice drop from where we were expecting it. Also down from 3% in September the last month where we got a full report. So the markets like that, you know, lower inflation is great news for the markets in any atmosphere. So there you go, there's your explanation for that 300 point futures higher future number on the Nasdaq and almost that high on the, on the Dow in that, in that sense. So just nice numbers there. Yeah. What about Trump Media? Yeah, the Trump Media now this is another one. Now it might seem like a head scratcher. Now Trump Media which we know is the owner of Truth Social, it's mostly a media company as it is in its name they have announced a merger with TAE Technologies. This is a Google backed by the way Google is kind of the seed investor in this company in nuclear fusion energy. So really not exactly the same thing as Trump Meat as a media property. But you know what, outside you something there actually is a connection. These, these are the kinds of companies that are going to be needed to fuel AI. And of course a huge amount of what AI technology about is about is media is for things like chat GPT which is technically media. It's written, it's the written word and things like that. So it does have somewhat of a connection. But it's a $6 billion all stock deal. Trump Media shares are soaring in the free market on this news. The idea that it might get into some other valuable properties other than just, just true social is something that investors like. So we'll be watching this. By the way this could be a regulatory nightmare too. I mean now the administration, every time it makes a rule about fusion energy and AI data centers there's gonna be people saying well you're just doing this to help your company. You know, that's what we're gonna hear for the next three years. By the way, I remember the Trump Media, it wasn't called Trump Media at the time but when they first came on Truth Social came on, it was at a loss per share and then it dropped big time. You wonder if it'll ever kind of get back up into those numbers. It's hard to say. Or I think that train may have left the station. I don't know. Yes and no. But this is why if you believe in a company and if you want to invest in it, you do something called dollar Cost averaging a certain amount of investment that you're going to make every month in it. So sure, your initial investment is way down from when it first came out in 2021. But if you've been investing all year, then, you know, suddenly it makes up for it. Again, only if you believe in the company. If you don't believe in the company, then dump it and walk away. But if you think that eventually it's going to get back to some higher numbers, you'll make up what you lost from that initial drop real quickly. And maybe you invested in the first few days and still have that profit even though it went down. I mean, you know, again, there's a lot of, a lot of numbers here, but there's a way to get around that. Again, if you still believe in the company long term for sure. Okay, about a minute left or so. It doesn't get more bargain basement, obviously than Spirit and Frontier Airlines. Now there is news that they're going to try to merge. Is that going to happen? What's going on? Well, so a Frontier and Spirit merge and they're so bare boned, are they eventually going to start charging you for the minute of every oxygen breath you take? I mean, that's kind of where we're going to go. These airlines are really, really bargain basement. But you know, this is Joe Biden's fault. You might remember JetBlue wanted to swoop in and save Spirit Airlines a while back when Joe Biden was president. He blocked it. There was a cynical reason for it which I basically, Joe Biden and the administration thought that a certain minority flies Spirit and they wouldn't like it if the white people that JetBlue took over. If you think I'm crazy for saying that, ask the people at the FTC who looked it over. That's really what they were talking about. A disgusting policy from the Joe Biden administration. So Spirit's bankrupt, frontiers in trouble. They're going to try to, I think they're going to call it misery Loves Company Airlines if they do merge. I don't know if this is going to work for either one of them. But hey, good luck to him. All right. All I know is last time I flew Spirit I had my knees literally in my mouth. But thank you, Jake. Time to head back to T. Bates in Denver for the opening bell. Of course, that is sponsored by amac. The association of Mature American Citizens is the conservative voice for Americans 50 and older. AMAC is fighting for the values that you hold dear. Join today together we can right the Course of America. We're getting ready for the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. It's set to ring here in less than a minute or so. We'll show you the applause at the podium and then we'll hear the voice. We'll hear the bell. Excuse me, not the voice. You hear the applause there and you kind of see it, which means that the bell is going to be ringing here in short order. And then we'll get an idea of how the markets are looking. As you heard, the cpi, the consumer price index, is out. And so in early trading, it really boosted the markets. Now that the markets are officially open, you hear the bell. Let's see how they're ultimately looking and how things are, are going to shape up. Here it is, ladies and gentlemen. The Dow and s P500 are up. The NASDAQ is also up right now. Again, all of that, as Jake was telling you, probably boosted by a pretty strong consumer price index report that came in a little bit lower than expected and closer to the Fed's 2% goal. So hopefully that's going to mean that today will be a good day for trading. We'll continue to monitor it for you, though, throughout the day. Still to come here on American Sunrise, former special counsel Jack Smith told lawmakers yesterday that his team had, quote, proof beyond a reasonable doubt when he took action against President Trump. All right, welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. G. Thanks for joining us this morning. We invite you to hop in our conversation on get in. Rumble time now to take the political pulse of America. The beat. Today, former Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith told lawmakers in a closed door interview that his team developed what he called proof beyond reasonable doubt that President Trump criminally conspired to overturn the 2020 election. Smith insisted his decisions were based solely on facts and the law, never politics, saying he would have made the same call regardless of party. Republicans meanwhile using the interview as part of a broader investigation into the Biden era prosecutions, including the controversial use of phone metadata from GOP lawmakers around January 6th. President Trump has called for Smith to testify publicly as the former prosecutor prepares to defend his record and his investigations behind closed doors. Joining us now with reaction, host of America's Voice Live and the Steve Gruber Show. Steve Gruber, good morning, Steve. You know, will Smith be called in for public testimony so Americans can see this evidence for themselves?
David Brody
You know, I have no idea, but every time that man talks, I go, really? That's what you're going with? Look, we know there was no probable cause for the reign of Mar? A Lago. We know that because the Washington field office of the FBI, among others, said there's nothing here and there are easier ways to get the information you're looking for. Yet they ignored that and went with it anyway because of political pressure. So I'm sorry, Jack Smith is in the same group of people that are acting politically, not professionally, not legally, not under the law and order rules it should be. They're acting out of political incitement because they hate Donald Trump so much they want to make sure they can disable him permanently so he can never run for president again. By the way, how did that work out? Fact of the matter is, we do deserve to see this. We do deserve to know what the truth is. I'd love to see him testify publicly. I don't know if that'll happen, Gina, but it would be a benefit to the American people. Of course, it wouldn't be an interview publicly. It'd be Democrats pontificating and Republicans asking questions. Potentially, but also pontificating. Look, these public hearings are becoming no more than a circus in front of the cameras. They want to get their talking points in. I reclaim my time. I reclaim my time. How sick is the American public of that whole stunt? I reclaim my time. Why? Because you don't like the answer or the person trying to answer the question that you asked and now you're trying to talk over them. It's such a disaster. It's shameful the way they conduct themselves in public to begin with. I don't believe that Jack Smith is trustworthy on any level based on all the evidence that has come out. I think that it was done for political purposes. I think that's pretty clear now to me, you, and to millions of Americans. Yeah, I would like to see the supposed evidence Jack Smith has, even if we don't hear from him, for context sake. I think I'm smart enough and most Americans are smart enough to kind of go through it and see if whatever this supposed evidence is, is in fact. Sure. Excuse me. Is in fact something of substance. Anyway, let's get to substance and style. President Trump, of course, delivered that primetime address yesterday from the White House. Your overall thoughts about it, specifically as it relates to the economy and affordability. Well, let's ring the bell, terrence, because the 2026 midterms are officially underway. Thank you to Donald Trump in the White House. Yesterday. He rang the bell, and, boy, was he forceful. And he did not do the weave, folks. I talked about this last night with Steve Bannon right here in Real America's Voice. He stayed on point. He stayed on message. Susie Wiles must be thrilled. She must be. No deviation, no wandering off into the weeds, just staying right on focus. And it was a good focus. It was talking about the accomplishments that he's made so far, the strides he's made to correct the issues with the economy, with the border, dealing with narco terrorists coming out of South America. The list was perfectly on point. And then he laid the roadmap for the future. Look, Donald Trump is taking this act on the road. He's crafting his message. He's been crafting this message that you saw last night for about two weeks now, according to people that I know that have had conversations with him about that exact message. I think he delivered it on point and he was very forceful. Bannon and I talked last night about whether it was too forceful. I don't think so. Look, get to the point. Lay out your argument for why this is working. Look at the unemployment rate. Look at the inflation rate. Look at the price of gas today. Look at what's happening in the economy. Look at the markets. Look at any metric you want to look at. It's better than it was a year ago. It's certainly better than it was a couple of years ago when inflation was 9.1%. We're on the track to heal this economy, but it takes time. You can't heal in 11 months, the damage done over several years. But I think that six months from now, I made this prediction before, I'm going to make it again. Six months from now, we get to say 4th of July, 2026, this economy is going to be looking pretty good. People vote their pocketbooks. They do. They vote their own best interest. Financially. I think the Republicans are setting themselves up nicely. You see the president's approval numbers coming up several points in the last couple of weeks. It's because of the economic message. And if they can deliver real relief on health care costs and deliver better product at a lower price, which sounds like they got the first step through yesterday as an advancement legislation, that, too, could be very important in the midterms.
Dr. Gina
To ask you sort of a philosophical question that somebody brought up to me this week. They said, you know, in his first term, those like Jack Smith, Vani Willis, all the rest of them tried everything they could do to destroy him. The entire deep state in one voice wanted to destroy Donald Trump, and they were unsuccessful, much to his credit and that of Maga, who had his back all the time, they said. But you know what they figured out? The way to destroy him was never to oppose him. The way to destroy him was to get close to him, to be his friend. That was the most chilling thing I've ever heard someone say about President Trump, because I know how much I know him and I know how much he loves. He loves making new friends. He loves making new friends out of old enemies. He loves forgiving people. He has true patience when it comes to, you know, dealing with people that have maybe been. Just look at Marco Rubio. Look at, heck, look at J.D. vance, who said some of the most horrendous things about him that anyone's ever said. And so you get to that point and you go, whoa. Now, hopefully people like JD Vance and Marco Rubio are good guys, but are there people who have gotten so close to Donald Trump that he may not have the discernment to understand that they are there to destroy him?
David Brody
Well, I mean, it's an interesting question, Gina, and it's probably a proper one. Look, you're in Washington. It's a den of vipers. Let's be honest about that. It's politics. Everybody's out for themselves. Look around. They're trying to advance their own cause at the expense of everybody else, including the American people. Happens every single day. So is it reasonable to assume that there are people in Donald Trump's close circle or in his orbit that are out to get him, sure. But here's the thing. Donald Trump pulled off the greatest political comeback in American history. Full stop.
Dr. Gina
Full stop.
David Brody
He's been attacked from every direction, every conceivable thing they could throw me. They've gone so far as to take public photographs that were publicly available and block out the women's faces to imply that somehow these people are, you know, underage women. They were not. He has survived every challenge, Gina. I expect him to continue to do that. What we need are the only Trumper voters to turn out in the midterms and cast ballots for the House and the Senate.
Dr. Gina
Great points. Steve Gruber, thank you so much for joining us today.
David Brody
Thanks, Steve. Thank you.
Dr. Gina

Thank you, Gina. I appreciate it. I need volume for sure in my hair and other lots of different places. Okay, turning point, USA's annual America Fest AM Fest. Come on. That's what we call it. That's the hip, cool thing. It begins today. Set to continue through the weekend at the Phoenix Convention Center. This year's event promises obviously to be like any other, a celebration of faith, freedom, and of course, the legacy of TP USA founder Charlie Kirk. Joining us now with a look on the ground is RAV congressional correspondent Benny Ray. Harmony. Benny Ray, good morning from Chile, Phoenix. What is it like 47 degrees this morning. Tell us more about what you're seeing out there. Good morning to you.
Dr. Gina
Yeah, it is, David, but I have to say it's a little bit better than Washington, D.C. right now. I will take this weather all day long. But yes, doors are set to open here in about 15 minutes.
David Brody
There have been just groups of people.
Dr. Gina
All morning walking by us from older people to younger people.
David Brody
And I truly, I believe the movement.
Dr. Gina
Is alive and well today. It will kick off around 2pm with a, with a cocktail, not cocktail, happy hour, a little networking. And then Erica Kirk will take the stage around 5pm to give that, that much anticipated welcome speech that Charlie gave every single year leading up to this. But overall, spirits are hot. Last night when I got to my hotel, there's freedom shirts everywhere and it just, it feels, it feels alive. Brody and that's really all I can say at this moment.
David Brody
Yeah, look, I was there about what, seven to 10 days ago, talk to, talking to Andrew Colvette and they were talking about over 20,000 people expected. That's a record for them. So the momentum continues to grow anyway.
Dr. Gina
No, absolutely. And I actually, I saw something this morning that said there could be upwards of 30,000 attendees over these next four days. That's obviously not all in one day, but this is completely sold out. You cannot get tickets. So people need to make sure they.
David Brody
Have real America's voice on. We will be streaming all day long.
Dr. Gina
We'll be covering some of these incredible speakers. Tucker Carlson will round it out tonight later this evening. So definitely stay tuned for that one.
David Brody
Well, you mentioned Tucker Carlson, which kind of leads to, leads me to what, what are you going to be looking for in terms of a theme there as it relates to the younger under 30 crowd in terms of Israel, that's obviously been a bone of contention, obviously. And Ben Shapiro, I understand, is going to speak as well. At least that was the plan. And they're both going to speak Tucker and Ben tonight or today. So that'll be interesting to watch, kind of the reaction they both get on stage.
Dr. Gina
Well, David, I think that's the beauty of an organization like Turning Point. And like Charlie Kirk, he gave a voice to everyone. You know, he, he, when he was.
David Brody
Told not to have Tucker at events.
Dr. Gina
What did he do?
David Brody
Anyway, he had Tucker at events because he is a, he viewed people on a human level. And so I think it's going to be really interesting.
Dr. Gina
But it's going to give these younger, to the younger generation and these college students that are here the ability to make their choices for themselves. You get to hear from someone like Tucker who questions everything about Israel, that questions everything, you know, about the assassination of Charlie Kirk. And then you have someone like Ben Shapiro who is extremely pro Israel.
David Brody
And so I think it's going to.
Dr. Gina
Be a beautiful, just a full circle moment with, with people from all different sectors talking about these things to really.
David Brody
Allow these young people to make those.
Dr. Gina
Choices and those decisions for their own.
David Brody
I don't think anybody should be being.
Dr. Gina
Fed the things they should believe.
David Brody
I think everybody should get to choose.
Dr. Gina
That on their, on their own. And that's exactly what Charlie stood for.
David Brody
And I think it's incredible that Turning point is continuing with that.
Dr. Gina
David?
David Brody
100% agree. And those college chapters are up since September 10th and the high school chapters that club America even more so. Betty, Ray, Harmony, thanks for being here. And we'll check back with you all throughout the day. Big coverage on rav. Appreciate your time. Absolutely.
Dr. Gina
Talk soon.
David Brody
All right. Coming up, a US senator is being sued by communist China for $50 billion. What? By the way, that's billion with a B. It's in retaliation for a Covid lawsuit that already won Missouri, by the way, a multi billion dollar settlement. That story after the break. Don't go anywhere. Let's spill some tea.
Dr. Gina
Let's spill some tea. Fueled by Artillery Tea Company, the only America first veteran owned tea brand and their mission to maximize flavor with whole leaf blends and chemical free tea bags. No junk, just real tea. And here's the tactical advantage. Each bag brews twice. Just go to artillerytco.com and use the code RAV for 10% off your first order. Again, that's artilleryteco.com, premium tea, mission driven and brewed for the brave. It is time now to spill some tea. And in the cup today, a lawsuit from communist China. A US Senator is now being sued by communist China and the price tag is staggering. Missouri Senator Eric Schmidt says the People's Republic of China is targeting him with a $50 billion lawsuit in retaliation for a case he filed against Beijing during the COVID 19 pandemic when he served as Missouri's attorney general. The lawsuit filed by the government of Wuhan accuses Schmidt and the state of Missouri of damaging China's reputation through what it calls malicious and defamatory litigation. Schmidt says the case is a political lawfare attack designed to distract from China's role in the pandemic that killed more than 1 million Americans. We want to know what you, our viewers, think about all of this. Let us know on Rumble or Getter. Hop on and let your voice be heard. Still to come on American Sunrise, we're checking back in with Rav's own Ben Berkwam as AmericaFest 2025 is set to begin. But first, here's a look at the eye opening J6 documentary that you won't want to miss.
David Brody
The radical left knows exactly what they're doing. They want to steal the election. We're going to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard. Events in Washington have taken a violent and tumultuous turn. January 6th wasn't just a moment in.
Dr. Gina
History for thousands of Americans.
David Brody
It was the moment their voices were taken. It's insurrection. They were persecuted, hunted, seditious conspiracy. But behind prison walls, something unexpected happened. They found their voice again. Started singing the national anthem. We took it up to him at Mar a Lago. I'll put my voice on it. Our supporters made this go platinum.
Dr. Gina
Real America's Voice is telling the real story of January 6th like you've never seen it before.
David Brody
Everybody, this must be peaceful.
Dr. Gina
This is not the story you were shown.
David Brody
I take responsibility.
Dr. Gina
This is the story they lived government.
David Brody
Entrapment scheme that this actually was.
Dr. Gina
The J6 Patriots are no longer staying silent.
David Brody
They are speaking. They are standing and they are telling the truth. You can't kill us. You can't beat us. They tried to silence them. Instead they woke up an entire nation.
Dr. Gina
The sleeping giant coming soon, Thursday through Sunday.
David Brody

This generation is the most conservative generation that we have seen in well over 50 years and the numbers show it. You are doing something that is bigger than you. This is more than a conference. It's a rallying cry for faith, freedom and the American spirit. America Fest Thursday through Sunday on Real America's Voice.
Dr. Gina
Big week there in Arizona. Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. Chi. Thanks so much for joining us today this very Christmasy day. And I love all these ornaments on the tree behind us. These Are all from you. And we thank you for them. We're really excited to kick off our coverage of TP USA's Amfest. Joining us again with a preview of this special and important event is RAV correspondent Ben Berkhwam. Ben, the event starts today. It runs through Sunday. What can you tell us?
David Brody
Well, look, it's going to be an amazing event. The lineup of speakers is unprecedented. There's no other organization, conservative organization in America right now, that has. That brings together that. That lineup. And again, we talked about it earlier, kind of, you know, some of the competing voices, some difference of opinions, all coming together in one place to battle it out on stage in the arena of ideas. And that's really Charlie's legacy, besides bringing people to Christ. It's bringing people to the table to discuss issues. And you can see right here the line, people are already lined up, ready to go inside there. You know, it's a brisk morning out here in Phoenix, but the people are pumped up. And that's really what it's all about. It's about the people of America coming together, wanting to see America made. A more perfect union as our founders designed it. And this is what it's all about. Yeah. And you said, Charlie, bringing folks to Christ, telling about Jesus, they're going to have a make heaven crowded tour. I know. Coming after the first of the year. Because ultimately it's about getting to the churches, making a difference there. Yeah. No, I mean, that's what it all is. If we don't have Christ as the foundation, nothing else really matters. And that's for me, in my mission, it's God, family, country. God is the foundation. Bringing my wife and I as the, you know, parents of our children, then that you, you have strong families that then ultimately can create strong communities. If you don't have, though God is the foundation, the rest of it crumbles. And we know about the house built on the sand versus the house built on the rock. And that was. That's really Charlie's legacy. And that's my prayer in all of this, is that we see revival come out of it and that we see not just America, but the world return to Jesus. Hey, Ben, really quickly, how different is the vibe without Charlie being there? And talk about security, I would imagine security has got to be beefed up and a little different than in years past.
Dr. Gina
And attendance, I'm curious about all three of those things you just said, Terry. Plus attendance.
David Brody
Yeah, attendance and attendance. Were anticipating it being the largest ever. I think, Benny, you just heard her saying there was 30,000 people. I don't know if that. That's total. That are actually going to be coming here, but they had to turn away people because the venue just won't fit that many, so. Largest attendance ever. You know, the general sense I get from everybody is the same sense I. I have is, you know, uncertainty. So excite, you know, hope for what's coming, sadness for what, you know, we. We're. It's going to be a memorial for Charlie, and so there'll be some of that, but also hope that we can take what Charlie started and continue it to save this nation. And, yes, security. Security is extremely heavy. So if you're coming, come early.
Dr. Gina
Yeah. All right, well. Well, listen, Ben, thank you so much. Have a great time. I know the worship services at Amethyst are unmatched. I know you'll be there with bells on and your beautiful family. Thank you so much. Merry Christmas to everybody. War room up next. Hug your children.
David Brody
Love God.
Dr. Gina
Go boldly live the truth. See you tomorrow.
David Brody
See you.
