President Trump pushed hard for a victory victory in Tennessee's special election last night. And the Republican did win. But are there dangerous warning signs ahead for the gospel despite the victory? We're going to break it down ahead. Plus, mainstream media mayhem. The failing New York Times concocts a story about the health of the president. And the White House fights back. In moments. Caroline Levitt weighs in on obvious media bias and gone cray cray. The women of the View want military members in prison and accuse them of war crimes. And moments find out why those stories and more as American Sunrise begins on a hump day right now. Good morning, America. Welcome to American Sunrise. Whether it's culture, we have breaking news to share with you. Politics. President Trump is joining us live now from Florida. We've got you covered. This is what it looks like to be a patriot. We have to protect the American family. The American dream is still alive. I'm David Brody. I'm terrence. And I'm Dr. Gina. Good morning. I am Dr. Gina. We are live with you from the Palm Beaches. Let's bring in David Brody. He's in Washington, D.C. and T. Bates is in our Denver newsroom. Good morning. Good morning, gentlemen. Good morning, Dr. Gina. Good morning, David. Good morning. I'm sorry, David. I have to say, I never thought I would hear the words cray cray coming out of your mouth. I did. I'm a little off put this morning, David. Cray cray right off the top of the show. Okay, thank you. Thank you. I'm hip. What can I tell you? I'm cool. I'm a cool cat. I'm a cool customer. He's so cool. He serves enchiladas on Thanksgiving. That'd be empanadas. But that's it's all the same thing. Look, it's all the same thing ultimately. All right, guys, West Palm, let's just start the show all over again. We're a minute in and we're already messing this up. Hey, look, one of the big stories that we've been talking about, really, since yesterday, the special election win for Van Epps there in Tennessee. It's a big win for the GOP. Even though the question to both you, Dr. Gina and David is should the single digit margin of that victory be a red flag for Republicans? David, I kind of know where you stand on this, so. Dr. Jean, I'll yield to you first. Yeah, I stand in the same place. This should have been a grand slam. This should have been, you know, at least 12 more points than it ended up being. So, you know, you want to give people a chance to enjoy their victory while at the same time it is rather Pyrrhic, David, because as we are approaching the midterms, this number needed to be a lot more solid. It tells Republicans it's a big red flag. It tells Republicans we have a lot of work to do if there's, if we plan to do any winning in the midterms. Right, David? 100%. Here's the caveat. It's a special election in December. Womp, womp. You know, it's not going to be the voter turnout that you'll see in the midterms. Having said that, a nine point victory in a plus 20 district, plus 24 at times, even before that for the president. That's a problem. That's a problem. And here's even a bigger problem in the rural counties. In that district last night, the Democrat was outperforming past Democrats by 10 points. In the rural areas. That's a major concern. And by the way, this was the liberal candidate, they were calling her the AOC from Tennessee. So think about it. The AOC from Tennessee, this liberal Democrat doing better in rural counties. Imagine if Democrats had run a moderate centrist, someone center left. Of course they're not gonna do that, but if they did, they could have won that seat last night. So there's major concern. It seems like we should have maybe prefaced this story just for those who weren't paying attention with the holidays and everything. It would make sense that this woman literally said that she doesn't even like Nashville. She does. This is the district she represented already, by the way, in the state House, that she doesn't like Tennessee, that she doesn't like country music. And I mean, that should have been the deal killer right there. Anyone who doesn't like country music, you're going to question their character right away, right, David and Terrence. Yeah. And instead, she could have lost by 35, 40 points by nine. Yeah, yeah. She should have lost by 40 points. Yeah. Yeah. Hey guys, before we go, I also want to play this sound bite for you. Former congressman and attorney General nominee at one point in time. Matt Gaetz was at the Pentagon press briefing yesterday and happened to ask this question. This is interesting juxtaposition in terms of where he once was and where he now is. What role will the Department of War have in a post Maduro Venezuela? And describe the process the administration will use to determine whether or not current members of the Venezuelan military or Venezuelan government have a role in a post Maduro Venezuela. Thanks for the question. So the Department has a contingency plan for everything. We are a planning organization. If anything were to happen around the world, we. We have a response planned and ready. Wow. Once he was the person being questioned, now he is questioning. What a juxtaposition, what a way, how quickly the world changes. David. Well, let me just say, right, he was nominated to be the Attorney General of the United States, and now he's sitting in a briefing room asking a question. I mean, you know what, good night, folks. Thanks for coming because I'm done. I got nothing else. I don't know what to say. It's just wild to me. I'm just gonna say this, just knowing Matt, I actually have a nickname for him, Wagon Wheel. Cause that's his karaoke song of choice. He's sung it at my house many times. And I was there the night he proposed to his wife, Ginger. Mar a lago. We're friends, right? But I'm just gonna say this because just knowing Matt and this might not make sense to anyone who is just watching from the outside. I know that sounds like a crazy series of events and. But honestly, he loves being a citizen journalist. He loves asking questions. I would really think that he might be just as happy there as he would have been. Maybe a lot happier when I really think about it. You know, it's hard to take that sort of tea party, vigilante, journalistic, you know, hard hitting activist out of someone and brush him off and put him in Congress or put him in the AG's office. I think it's who he is in his essence. I agree, 100% agree. All right, Dr. Gina, we'll be talking more about that throughout the day, but would you give us our Bible verses? Love to. All right, today's Bible verse is from Ephesians, chapter 6, verse 12. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, you guys, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in high places. You know, this verse, for some reason is one of the most intimidating, scary verses, while simultaneously the most comforting Verses as you look out at our world and you realize, wait a minute, we aren't wrestling against flesh and blood, right? This is one I tell my children to memorize and weaponize because this is one of the strongest, most clear cut verses that God gave us in the Bible for the spiritual warfare that we would encounter, especially in our day. Turning from fighting against the rulers of darkness to the Bible in our current day, the White House remains diligent, keeping all of our enemies at bay and also hosting one of our colleagues. That's where we find RAV Chief White House correspondent Brian Glenn today. Brian Johnny Solomon out there and his team at Just the News once again breaking a massive fraud being perpetrated by Somali immigrants in Minnesota. And I asked him yesterday and he said it's happening all over the country and there are many more investigations that are active on the this topic. Brian Ooh, the sun is behind you in such a pretty way. Squirrel Hundreds of millions of dollars were stolen via sham nonprofits that build the state for their services that they never actually delivered on. Brian they used the cash instead to fund lavish lifestyles. Some of the stolen funds even wound up in the hands of Al Shababa, an Al Qaeda based terror group in Somalia. All of this happening under the very watchful eye of governor clown Tim Walz. Federal prosecutors have convinced convicted rather at least 59 scammers. 59. I heard 70. I heard the number 70 somewhere. I can't remember if it was on this program or somewhere but dozens more charged. Obviously this is angering the president who vows swift justice and retribution. Take a listen to what he said. When I watch what is happening in Minnesota, the land of a thousand lakes or however many lakes they have. They got a lot of lakes but this beautiful place. And I see these people ripping it off and now I'm understanding and you're going to look at Tedesco. I hear they ripped off Somalians, ripped off that state for billions of dollars. Billions every year. Billions of dollars. And they contribute nothing. The Welfare is like 88%. They contribute nothing. I don't want them in our country. I'll be honest with you. Okay. Somebody would say, oh that's not politically correct. I don't care. I don't want them in our country. Their country is no good for a reason. Their country stinks. Don't hold back Mr. President. Tell us how you really feel. Brian well that was one of his comments into that two plus hour cabinet meeting, the last cabinet meeting of 2025. That was his ninth one which might be a record as well. But he doubled down on that, Even brought in Ilhan Omar, brought in her relevancy to what's going on right now. Called her a few names as well. But it's interesting because this scandal makes you wonder why Somalians from a country that has an average temperature of 81 degrees, one of the hottest year round regions of the world, would migrate to one of the coldest states in our country, Minnesota, with a average high in January, barely getting over the single digits. So maybe this expands, maybe this network that they were having, this scandalous scheme to really milk billions of dollars from taxpayers under Tim Watts watch there, maybe that had something to do with it. I'm just throwing it out there. But yeah, President Trump did not hold back yesterday on this Somalian scandal that has literally fleeced Minnesotans billions of dollars. Yeah. I mean that social services model that they have in Minnesota is Scandinavian based and it's all about high taxes, giving illegal immigrants and others whatever they want. So yeah, it makes total sense why they both might. For both. That's right, for both. Hey, Brian, I mean, go ahead. Now I've just, I've often wondered why they would move to such a cold region in our country to gather as a community. I, I don't, Maybe, maybe there's something there. If I would imagine if that scandal was going on in another state, which it very might well be, maybe that's the reason. I mean they know where to go to get the most benefits. Just like when these immigrants come up from the southern border when it was wide open with Joe Biden. They knew exactly what cities to go to to get the resources that they want the government which is handing out. So they're no dummy. They know how to milk a system. And so President Trump, clearly there's no wondering what, where he, what he, what he thinks about this. The way he weighed in yesterday. Let me ask you, Brian, that special election down in Tennessee, boy, what's the White House saying about that this morning? I know they're going to put the bell, he won the Republican one. Come on, let's, let's all just be honest. Nine point victory in a plus 20 district. Sorry, that ain't going to get the job done. Yeah, I'm with you. And President Trump did push out a truth social last night saying it was a big win there for vinaps in District 7. But I watched that unfold last night and David, we probably all watched the numbers come in. She was up at one point a sizable amount. Now they still had some other counties that were not reporting yet. But like you guys said in the earlier show, I mean, she was able to really cut into some big numbers that Trump the last election had for Republicans. So, you know, the, what, what is the messaging in all of this? And look, for one thing, when you bring AOC down to the south, and I do consider Nashville part of the south, when you bring her down to the south to message for Democrats, there's nothing, I think that would, I would think that would bring out the Republican base with an AOC that pretty much would get people out to vote, especially on a December election, which is, you know, kind of like you said earlier, wah wah type of election. But anyway, I think it's a good win, obviously for Republicans, but there were some big concerns there. Why these Democrats are getting much more market share, share of the pie, if you will, than previously election. So what are the issues there that we're not messaging correctly on? But good win for the Republicans last night. Yeah. Because I mean, turnout shouldn't have that sort of impact on percentages. Anyway, Brian, thank you so much for being with us today. Enjoy that sunshine. Looks like you're getting some good vitamin D right there. It's good for you. Yeah, get it in here. Warm it up here. We got a nice little thanks to my heater right here. My understanding is that Pete Hegseth has a gaggle with reporters today. I think that's true. It may not be. I sound like a CNN anchor. I'm just making stuff up. No, I believe it is true that Hegseth will have a gaggle later on with reporters today. We'll ask David Zier who is at the Pentagon. And that is coming up. Welcome back, everybody, to American Sunrise. All right, let's get to T B. Standing by with the latest headlines from the Real Americans Voice newsroom, sponsored by amac. That target, of course, would primarily be Somali immigrants who are living here in the United States illegally. The Associated Press reports the effort could start in the coming days and would center on the Minneapolis St. Paul area, which has a sizable Somali population. In fact, this particular area is home to the nation's largest Somali population. Agents will be looking for people with final orders of deportation and Minneapolis's mayor says his city's police officers will not work with federal agents during the immigration enforcement quote. Targeting Somali people means that due process will be violated, mistakes will be made, and let's be clear, it means that American citizens will be detained for no other reason than the fact that they look like they are Somali. That's not now and will never be a legitimate reason, he says. Meantime, President Trump continuing his push to reverse any actions from his predecessor, Joe Biden that were enacted with the use of the now infamous auto pin taken to Truth Social 47 writing any and all documents, proclamations, executive orders, memorandums or contracts signed by order of the now infamous and unauthorized Auto pin within the administration of Joseph R. Biden Jr. Are hereby null, void and of no further force or effect. Anyone receiving pardons, commutations or any other legal documents so signed, please be advised that said document has been fully and completely terminated and is of no legal effect. Thank you for your attention to this matter, he writes. President Trump and others, of course, continue to question whether Biden was mentally fit during his time in the White House. They also believe the former president's aides and others around him made key decisions and used the auto pin to enforce those decisions. Unbeknownst to Biden, the 29 year old Afghan national accused of killing one National Guardsman and leaving another fighting for his life in the hospital, will remain in jail without bond. He made his first court appearance from the hospital on Tuesday. The accused killer faces four criminal counts, including first degree murder and assault with the intent to kill, while armed prosecutors say the suspect traveled to the nation's capital from Washington state state with the intention of carrying out the deadly attack. Witnesses say he yelled Alwa Akbar, which of course is Arabic for God is great, as he opened fire on the guardsmen. The alleged shooter is in the US Under a program to resettle Afghans who assisted American troops during the war in Afghanistan. He's been here since 2021. That's a quick check of your headlines. Now let's get a quick check of your forecast. Weather Nation meteorologist Tracy Anthony joining us from West Palm Beach. And there at the bottom of your screen, you see the QR code to join our friends over at Weather nation. So, Tracy, I just want to share with you and I will send you a copay a little bit. I've been up since about 1:30 this morning because it was in the forecast that it was going to snow here. And so as to avoid being stuck in my neighborhood, I got up extra early so I could give myself extra time to get out. The good news is I made it to work. The better news is it didn't snow quite as much as I thought it might. Yeah. But you know, on your way home, it might take a little longer and you're also gonna have to get out the shovel. So brace for that. Thanks, Tracy. See, I was trying to be a glass half full kind of guy and you just emptied out half of my glass. Thanks, Tracy. But you're being honest. Cause I already know when I get home I'm gonna have to do some more work. Yeah. You know, my glass half full is that I live in West Palm beach now and I don't have to shovel anymore. But this is what, you know, Denver's dealing with. We've got a good amount of snow right along that i25 corridor. That's going to be the case throughout the remainder of the day. And really across the nation for the next couple of days, we're going to have widespread winter weather impacts. So we're going to have several systems that drop down and bring in some arctic cold air. So, yes, this is going to be the coldest air of the season. I know I said that two weeks ago, but this is going to be even colder. So, hey, we're getting into the middle of winter and we are tracking Gulf coast rain that starts today and it's going to stick around through Saturday. So we could have some localized flooding concerns along i10 and the Gulf Coast. So definitely a lot going on here the next couple of days. But Terrence, overall, it's those winter impacts that are going to be impacting millions. So have the HAT plan extra time like you said and hopefully you got your shovel ready. Thanks for the reminder, Tracy. I love you back. All right, we'll check in with you next hour and get your hometown forecast. Make sure you stay tuned for that. Go to our various social media platforms. Let us know where you're hanging out in order to get one of those hometown forecasts. Up next, though, we are headed to the Pentagon where new media is taking the place of the old lamestream media that once thought that they were the only game in town. Now they need to rethink that. Welcome back everybody to American Sunrise. All right, I'm David Brody. Today wraps up the third and final day of the new media orientation at the the Pentagon. Earlier this fall, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced a major revamp of operating procedures for press covering the department, asking reporters to sign a new, more restrictive press policy and sparking a mass exodus of the old legacy lamestream media outlets from the building. Well, David Zier, the host of Breaking Point here on rav was at the Pentagon this week for the ramp up of the new media taking their positions in the press room. And David now joins us from the Pentagon where we understand David, Pete Hegseth is planning to gaggle with reporters. In other words, just talk with reporters. We think there are cameras there. I'm curious to get your take on that and to see Matt Gaetz in the briefing room yesterday. My goodness, what in the world's going on? Good morning, David. It's an incredible time to be here at the Pentagon, you know, Republican congressmen coming out asking for more oversight and questions to be answered, like Thom Tillis in North Carolina, you know, talking about the second strike and its legality. Wonder if he cares about the 3,000 people who overdosed in North Carolina last year. But I just wanted to say here that this is an incredible opportunity. Pete Hegseth coming in here at about 9:45 in one of the briefing rooms where we're at inside the Pentagon. And throughout the day we've got interviews. I've got one with the Secretary of the Navy, we've got the press secretary, we've got Sean Parnell, the chief Pentagon spokesman, among others here. But the Daily Beast and other media outlets like the Washington Post and Vanity Fair are griping about the new media, I guess you could say takeover in their minds of their desks. You know, a lot of these reporters to their credit spent many years developing, you know, as beat reporters in the Pentagon. Right. And relationships. This is going to take a long time to develop these relationships, to have several desks inside the Pentagon and find their way around here. But I was really impressed yesterday in the press briefing by Kingsley Wilson with the new media crowd in here. And you know, TP USA was present. We had Red State, Gateway Pundit, CDM News, and the questions were really good and they were hard hitting. You know, they brought up our strikes in Somalia, you know, going into the cave networks for Al Shabaab. They brought up other issues here. So, you know, I think people are taking this seriously in the new pool of new media here at the Pentagon. And today I'll be a busy day here. So we're excited to be on the ground. And I'll be joined by Benny Harmony here in a little while. So we're going to get underway. Yeah. This is a day when I think back to as one of the hundred founding members of the Tea Party, when I think back to those days of citizen journalism out there going town to town with Andrew Breitbart and Steve Bannon and Jim Hoft of Gateway Pundit and all those people, we could have never dreamed of a day like this. It is so fair. It is so just that these people are there and do have a seat at the table. I don't think it needs to be to the exclusion of other media. But here's what I wanted to ask you as I'm listening to this. I've never heard this said, and this may be a really dumb question which you really shouldn't ask on television, but I'M just, I kind of call it like I see it, and I have since my Tea Party days. David, I want to ask you, is there a concern about spying? Because, and here's why I ask this, because it just seems like there's more to this story. You know, like, I've not ever been in the Pentagon. I have no idea what it's like inside of there. And I think it is so right and awesome that these independent journalists who are really Tea Partiers at heart, are in there and get to ask the questions. But it almost seems to me like as I was hearing this discussion, the reasoning behind this, that it had something more to do with almost like we don't really know who these people were. All the time they were hiring people, they were running around. I'm hearing this undercurrent. So I just wanted to ask the question straight up. Were they concerned about spies being hired by a hostile network coming in to the Pentagon, being in places that were sensitive from a security standpoint? I think you make a fair point, Dr. Gina. And just to your credit, you were on the ground floor with Andrew Breitbart when this new media, you know, rose and Bannon was the editor for Breitbart and, you know, at the time of the Tea Party. So. But these new guidelines are common sense here. Before, as Sean Parnell said, wear your ID and your credentials throughout the Pentagon. Now you'll need to be escorted to and from the people you're going to visit. And, you know, so there was a free for all to a degree here and there were probably leaks and other and Matt Gaetz brought up that question yesterday. What are they going to do in the Pentagon to address any leakers going forward? So I think you make a valid point. Maybe this is, I'm sorry, David, I'm sorry to interrupt, but as I'm, as I'm looking at you there in the Pentagon, I'm curious and I really want to kind of get a sense for what the vibe is there amongst the journalists who are with you. But even, I guess, bigger picture, since there are new rules in place and you're one of many journalists who signed those rules, do you feel like there are more eyes on you? Do you feel like there's kind of this different vibe and that you have to watch everything that you say, or is it kind of this openness and still this freedom to do your job unimpeded? I haven't seen that at all. We have not experienced that all here. And There are about 60 new journalists who will be joining the new Pentagon, new media, you know, press corp here. So, you know, I didn't find that at all. And people were asking tough questions yesterday. And I was just talking to a gentleman in the room from another outlet who said, you know, he's taken this very seriously and we're here to report the news, you know, without, without the bias. Right. And that's what it's all about. And our audience deserves to hear the truth on the ground and what's going on. No doubt about that. And we should, we should also be clear that just because the liberal media is not in the room doesn't mean they're not doing some work behind the scenes and dealing with their deep state contacts. Look at the Washington Post. And they are story about, hence, and they are, yeah, 100%. So let's not just think that they're just kind of done and you know, just saying we're finished here. Yeah, of course. David Zier, great to have you and someone back in. Yes. Right. We'll check back with you later in the next hour. Thank you, sir. Thank you. Okay, coming up, your health and the health of the president. Why his recent physical should have you thinking about your own health. Nice shot, Mr. President. Okay, anyone who was raised in the generation I was raised means you're Gen Xer. If you see the town of Cincinnati, the little snow on the ground, four letters come to mind. I'm not going to say them, but I know you're going to sing them. Welcome back to American sunrise. I'm Dr. Gina. Thank you for joining us. If you don't know what we're talking about, that means you're young, so you're blessed. Time now for today's health news sponsored by the wellness company under the Microscope today. Last month, President Trump, well, he went and got an mri, magnetic resonance image and the report is in. Everything is clean. The October scan of his heart and abdomen ordered as part of his preventative executive physical came back perfectly normal according to White House physician Dr. Sean Barbarabella. I think is how you say his last name. I was wanting to say Barbarella. But that's not how you I'm just 70s all over the place. No signs of heart issues, arterial narrowing or organ trouble. Just solid health and peak fitness for a 79 year old leader still running the country with energy and strength and stamina. The question should you be getting a similar test mri and if so, when? Well, here's the answer to that. Major medical organizations like the American Heart association currently do not recommend routine whole body MRI scans. They say there's insufficient evidence that the benefits outweigh the risks. However, a growing number of private health clinics are marketing these screenings as essential for early detection of cancers, aneurysms, heart disease, and in many cases have saved lives. So the consensus remains. Individuals should consult their primary care physician to discuss personal risk factors and determine if non routine screening is medically appropriate. But I would also say make sure you have a functional medical doctor. I think that is really important in today's world. Otherwise you're just going to be pharmaceutical to death, literally. A new administration in Washington D.C. has brought a lot of positive changes when it comes to fixing our broken health care system. The reality though, there's only so much government can do. If we really want to make America healthy again, it's going to start at home with each and every one of us. And that is where the Wellness Company comes in. You see and hear from their doctors all the time on this network. You know that their products are the gold standard when it comes to keeping you and your family safe and healthy. Go to TWC Health Raptor to give it an orthat't WWC Health RAV. Use the promo code RAV. It'll save you 10%. This new TheraBlue product. Terrence. It feels nice when you put it on, but don't put it in your eyes. It's a recommendation. Okay. Sorry Dr. Gina, I'm looking for something to help me get over these sniffles and this scratchy throat I've got here. I'm hoping I've got something in my little Med kit here. It's been a struggle bus day. Dr. Gina, the wellness kit. I keep it right here on my desk just in case. And I need a little help this morning. Sorry, sorry. You caught me and I didn't realize I was up there. There you go. There you go. All right. Hey, look, let's stick with the whole issue of President Trump's health and how the mainstream media has been covering it and the bias in that coverage. The New York Times published a 20, 100 plus word article on November 25th suggesting that President Trump is both in cognitive and physical decline. And it's basing that report on, quote, sources. Yeah, we know what that means. It was stories like that that have led the White House to launch their very own media bias tracker. Here's Caroline Levitt talking about that issue. I think it goes to our original promise on day one to hold the media accountable because unfortunately, and we deal with this all day, every day around here, there are, are so many fake stories that are unfortunately written that have inaccurate characterizations of meetings that took place, and it's all based on anonymous sourcing. And, you know, the standard for journalism unfortunately has dropped to such a historic low in this country. And again, we deal with it every day where you can have an anonymous source who has no idea what they're talking about, zero credibility, call up a reporter in Washington and say, hey, I heard this. And then the next thing you know, it's on the front page of the New York Times. It's really incomprehensible. We appreciate the journalists, some of those who are in this room who do reach out for comment, who try to get things right, and there are some that remain. But overwhelmingly, the fake news that we see pumped out of this building on a day to day basis, it's honestly overwhelming to keep up with it all and to constantly have to defend against these fake news and these attacks. Joining us now with his take on the White House's new tactic to combat the lies that are being sprouted by the lamestream media is Curtis Hauck. He's the managing editor of News Busters at the Media Research Center. Curtis, always good to see you. Somewhat of a rhetorical question, but how did we get here? I mean, this is like, this is like the Twilight Zone. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that the White House would feel it needs to do something like this to counter the mainstream media. Yeah, yeah, I love this first and foremost, just from a, like a pure nerd standpoint. I love the way they're structuring this. Like, you go to their page, they currently have 31 entries and they list the claim, they list what, what they're saying. They even give them space to say what they're, you know, what's being alleged. They say why it's wrong. They have supporting facts. They have articles from other mainstream outlets, which I think is hilarious to back up to debunk what's going on here. And you can sort it by journalist, by outlet, why it's biased as, you know, a mission of context or just general left wing lunacy as they use to describe Whoopi Goldberg. They cite Newsbusters along the way, which we appreciate as well. But I think the White House is exactly right. And Caroline Levitt was correct to point out the fact that the thing about the President's health is particularly egregious. It was ridiculous and it was irresponsible. These journalists think that, you know, we're just trying not to miss the story this time because it's kind of an omission of guilt that they purposefully missed the Joe Biden story. But, yeah, yeah, I don't think that's, I don't think that's going to work on the American people because we can see with our own two eyes, yeah, President Trump is fine. Yeah, yeah. I mean, honestly, it is a pretty low standard that Joe Biden set by comparison. I don't think Trump has anything ever to worry about. But anyway, the big story right now, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth ordered a deadly strike on a suspected drug running vessel in the Caribbean September 2nd. Targeting the boat is cargo. The new reports clarify Hegseth did not direct the killing of survivors remaining after. They're saying, oh, this was a double strike, etc. You know, Curtis, they had no problem with this at all when it was Biden or Obama. Biden, but Obama, if I remember correctly, didn't he exact a drone strike on an innocent family, killed an entire family. And I believe that might have even been a double strike. It was an American citizen. So, yeah, that obviously changes things a little bit. The New York Times itself has debunked the Washington Post story, pointing out that what more or less was happening was it was trying to take out the boat. There were strike, multiple strikes to take out the boat and the drugs on the boat and that, you know, the general had the complete authority to do so. I mean, the liberal media are trying to dress this up. They're trying to go after the President, they're siding with Venezuela. You know, not only a drug running, you know, country a cartel state. It's brutally represses its people. Nicolas Maduro is probably one of the worst dictators in the world right now. Kind of an axis of evil of sorts. So, I mean, we have full rights to take this out. This goes back to like James Monroe, the Monroe Doctrine in the western hemisphere. So for the media to try and make hay out of this, it's just despicable to throw around war crime. Yeah, yeah. You think the seditious six might be held accountable by their constituents and the tens of thousands of deaths they've had due to the drugs that were coming over, which have been stopped now. But I guess they're not so worried about that. Anyway, Curtis Haug, thank you for being with us. Appreciate it, gang. Thanks, Curtis. All right, guys, NASCAR has gone woke. God bless the USA in the beginning, God God created the Heaven and the Earth. Welcome back to American Sunrise. It is time now for our Moments of Faith brought to us by Lee Greenwood and the God Bless the USA Bible in focus today as Advent begins this week, a season of hope and expectation. The faith community at Annunciation Catholic Church in South Minneapolis says that they've already seen Christ arrive amid all of their grief. On August 27th of this year, their church was attacked. Two children were killed and more than 20 people wounded when a gunman opened fire through the stained glass windows during an all school mass. In the days that followed, parishioners, teens, parents, teachers, neighbors, they all gathered night after night on the sidewalk with rosaries in hand, praying out loud, seeking comfort, unity and strength as they leaned into faith to embrace the unknown. As the first candle of Advent is lit, Be the Light is more than a slogan for them. It's a call to remember who they are, to renew their commitment to faith, to honor the lost, and to stand with hope against violence. For discussion, let's welcome to American Sunrise, Father Frank Pavone, the director of Priests for Life. Father, thank you so much for being with us this morning. You know, my heart goes out to that community, the Annunciation Catholic School community. You know, so much happens in the news cycle, and I feel like sometimes stories like this gets kind of pushed aside, but it's coming back to the forefront now with this Advent season. How would you say this community has to come together now, you know, in the spirit of Advent in order to heal? Well, yes, this is a good time to renew our solidarity with the people of Annunciation and by extension, with anyone who is suffering at this particular season. And the best way to deal with this, as your question raises, is to embrace not only the unknown, as someone has said recently in writing about this, but to embrace what we do know. In other words, tragedy doesn't ruin the Christmas season or the Advent season. It is the Advent and Christmas season that answer tragedy. Because what we do know is that this Jesus who comes, it is in Jesus Christ that violence is conquered, sin is conquered, and even death, death is conquered. That's why Christmas is so joyful. And that joy is meant to embrace, inform and transform the sorrow and the suffering and the loneliness and the pain that is just unimaginable for people like those at Annunciation and again in so many other situations of human suffering. What I say is let that light of Advent pour into that suffering, pour into that grief. And it's not just about let's make sure that our, our Advent and Christmas message are not superficial, you know, in the pulpits and in our conversations where we're just saying, oh, well, we have to love one another, we have to pray for peace. We have to, you know, Embrace non violence. It's Jesus Christ is the message of Advent. He is Advent. He is the one who comes. And it's by faith in him, by obedience to him, by union with him and his spirit. That's the only way we're going to overcome violence in our world, bring peace and unity is in the person of Jesus Christ. And that, of course, is what Advent and Christmas are all about. It is all about Jesus. I love your enthusiasm this morning, Father. That's awesome. We only have a couple seconds left with you here, but give our viewers a little reminder of the Advent wreath. Right. We have three purple candles, one pink. Walk us through what that symbolizes. Each week of Advent, one of those candles is lit. The pink one is the third Sunday of Advent. The pink symbolizing the joy of the closeness of Christmas. And the light, of course, represents Christ. The closer we get to Christmas, the closer we get to the coming of the light of the world. And the fact that it's a wreath represents eternity. It is God's eternity, breaking into time and bringing us back up into his eternity. Eternal life is his gift. We gotta be the light. Father Frank Pavone, always a pleasure to have you on the show. Thanks for being with us. Thanks so much. We'll be back with the second hour of American Sunrise in just two minutes. Stick around. Coming up on the second hour of American Sunrise, Republican Matt Van Epps defeats Democratic rival Afton Ben in Tennessee. But how much of a victory was it really? We'll have analysis on what should have been a slam dunk for the GOP in just a moment. Plus, the Trump administration is actively reexamining all Afghan nationals who entered the United States during former President Joe Biden's term in office. This comes in response to the tragic killings of a National Guard member last week. We'll have analysis on the move in a moment. And later, we're continuing our special coverage of the Department of War's media day, now on its third day. We'll be checking in with RAV reporters on the ground later this hour. Those stories and more as the second hour of American Sunrise starts right now. And I'm Doc Cucina. Welcome back to the second hour of American Sunrise. So good to have you along on this Wednesday morning. We appreciate you being here with us. I'm Terrence Bates coming to you from our Denver newsroom. Let's bring in Dr. Gina. She is in West Palm, as is Emily Finn. Both of them getting a chance to hang out together. And I'm just lonely old me here in our Denver newsroom. David Brody, by the way, will be back with us shortly, so stay tuned for that. Ladies, good morning. Always a pleasure seeing both of you bright and early. Good morning, Terrence. Every time I see you, I just want to go snow skiing. Well, you can definitely do that. Right now here in Colorado, we are under a bit of a blanket of snow early this morning. So typically I'm up about 3:30 in the morning or so working when it snows, I typically get up a couple of hours early just in case it's so bad that I need to give myself a little extra time. So I was up at 1:30 this morning and at that time it wasn't too bad. But it's supposed to snow all day long, so please, come on, Dr. Gina, come on, the water's good. Come on, get in and get some of this snow. Terrence, I think we gotta invite you down to West Palm, get you out of that snow. You need a little break from the cold. Oh, from your lips to God's ear. I was going to say we could trade. Trade studios for a week. We'll see things about that. I'll take that. Hey, Zen, if you're listening, hook your boy up. Send me down to Florida. Send Dr. Gina up here. She can even stay at my house. You don't even have to get her hotel. She can stay at my house. I would happily trade digs with her. Anyway, Guys, let's get to a couple of headlines. This morning, the feds reported preparing for what's being described as a targeted immigration enforcement operation in Minnesota. The targets would primarily be Somali immigrants who are living in the United States illegally. This particular area, by the way, is home to the nation's largest Somali population. I don't want them in our country. I'll be honest with you, okay? Somebody would say, oh, that's not politically correct. I don't care. I don't want them in our country. Their country's no good for a reason. Their country stinks and we don't want them in our country. Meantime, the 29 year old Afghan national accused of killing one National Guardsman and leaving another fighting for his life in the hospital will remain in jail without bond he made his first court appearance from the hospital on Tuesday. The accused killer faces four criminal counts, including first degree murder and assault with the intent to kill, while armed. Prosecutors say the suspect traveled to the nation's capital from Washington state with the intention of carrying out that deadly attack. By the way, the Afghan or Afghanistan and Somalia are on the list of about 19 non European countries from which the Trump administration is pausing all immigration applications. That includes green card and US Citizenship processing. The administration sites national security and public safety concerns. Other countries on that list include Haiti, Eritrea, Iran and Libya. That's a quick check of your headlines. Now let's get a quick check of your forecast with Weather Nation meteorologist Tracy Anthony. Also there at the bottom of your screen, you see the QR code. You can scan that and join our friends over at Weather nation. So one of my favorite times of the show, Tracy, or I'm sorry, TT touchscreen Tracy. It's time for our hometown forecast. Good morning. Hey, good morning. Yeah. And Diane on Getter was wondering if her town was going to be dealing with some snow. And Diane, you look clear through the rest of the work week, but Friday night into Saturday, you do have some moisture working through with the system. And it's going to be kind of a rain snow mix. So with overnight lows down below that freezing point, that's going to be kind of that fine line of when it changes over from snow to rain. So we've got a couple other hometown forecasts take you out to Minneapolis. This is Scotty B. 53 on Rumble. Look at this forecast. Overnight temperatures dropping down to 6 below. Now, wind chill values are going to be even colder. I'm talking 20, 30 below wind chill values. So you can get frostbite in a matter of 15 minutes with wind chill values that low and then take you down, warm things up bit a little. Little bit. Jacksonville, Florida, this from Flashosaurus on Getter. You are staying pretty dry, but you do have a system that's rolling on through that's going to knock on your doorstep for the weekend. But some much needed rain for the Florida panhandles. So that's where things are staying a little on the warmer side. But the rest of the lower 48 definitely feeling those December feels and some of the wind chills 30 below. Oh, it just makes me cringe thinking about it, Terrence. All right, Tracy, we appreciate it. We'll be checking back with you tomorrow if I'm able to dig myself out of the snow here in Denver. Always good to see you, Tracy. Good luck. I can do it. Yeah, you can do it. Once again, folks, there at the bottom of your screen, you see that QR code, go ahead and scan it and join our friends over at Weather Nation. We, of course, want to have you part of the family as well. Well, folks, Republicans are going to continue to hold on to a vacant congressional seat in Tennessee. This after GOP nominee Matt Van Epps emerged victorious last night in a special election for that seat. The vote was in Tennessee's 7th congressional district, which is an area President Trump carried by 22 points last year. However, Van Epps just edged to victory with about a nine point win last night. Joining us now with analysis is Congressman Pete Sessions. Congressman, good to see you. Welcome to the show. Thank you very much. And good morning to Denver, too. Well, thank you, sir. We appreciate it. It's a bit chilly, but it is a good morning. So I'm curious to get your perspective on last night's special election. What do you think it prescribes for the midterms? Because let's just be honest, that's the big pot. That's what we're all looking forward to. Well, in fact, that is the prize that we need to be focused on. And we're now just less than a year away from that. But the occurrences or the success of this timing of this race was directly after the holidays. It was one in which I think that there are mixed messages going on not just in Washington, but around the country. I was pleased with the victory. I'll be quite blunt. To win by nine points, even though perhaps Donald Trump won by 22, you have to see that this is a victory for not only the president, but a victory for Republicans in the House. The matchup that we will have all across this country, every single congressional race will be about a series of items that I believe are in Republicans advantage. First of all, we have to deal with the debt issue and Democrats are simply still on record of wanting to spend more money. Secondly, we want government employees to come back to work. They want government employees to continue staying at home, drawing benefits and a paycheck. We've got to make sure that we sell these two items. Number three, health care. Republicans have a better plan, which I believe we're going to get to and that is we're going to make sure that the some 120 million people who are self employed, perhaps real estate agents, perhaps small business owners, will have a better shot at buying not only health care, but affording it. These plans are materializing right before our eyes. We do have to deliver this to make sure that we are talking about health care and lastly, the success of this nation to keep us safe. And all these quadrants, all these issues are on the Republican side. So I'm really not worried about winning next year. I'm worried about our performance to sell to the American people just like our candidate in Tennessee did. We have better ideas to make America safe and for people just like you in Tennessee. Well, like they say, one goes to Washington, D.C. and one goes home. So winning is still winning, even if the margin could have been bigger. Congressman, turning now to the fallout from the tragic National Guard shooting last week. In response to the shooting, Press Secretary Caroline Levitt announced the Trump administration is actively reexamining all Afghan nationals who were let into the country under Biden's watch. Is this the start of a greater push for new immigration policy, in your opinion? No, I think that Secretary Rubio really used words that I agree with. I watched him yesterday and I've been using these words also. I think this was a question about people who came to this country who absolutely opposed the Taliban and that's why they work with our intel and military people in Afghanistan. They came here for a new life. But that also a part of that is the American dream. And the American dream is a struggle. The American dream is achievable and it is successful. And it brings out the better part of individuals and families to know that they're in the greatest country in the world. But it does not mean instant success. And over these past few years, I think that these people were allowed to come to this country given a green light, given what they would need. But I don't know what the follow up is to make sure that their viewpoint of their success, their they're becoming a part of where they are, is successful. It is not unusual for Somalia people to go to where Somalia people are. It is not an uncomfortable circumstance to think that Afghans would go where more people who are like them from Afghanistan. They are becoming radicalized in this country and we need to pay attention to that. We need to make sure that we have an idea of those conditions. And I think that there's been a rush to go and get people who are in this country illegally out, rather than the focus of people who did come, who we need to pay attention to. So I'm proud of not just the president, Marco Rubio, but I'm proud to say we've got to go back and relook at this, but we've got to stop the movement that they were allowed to have with the green cards or migration, immigration to this country. So I think it's the right thing to halt it. Yeah, an investigation certainly needs to continue into this. Congressman. We also want to get your reaction to President Trump's recent comments on paper ballots. In the Truth Social post, the president said great news. Dallas County, Texas just went to all paper ballots. Many others are following suit. More accurate, totally secure with watermark paper, faster and only 9% of the cost. All Republican governors should mandatorily do this. Save money and freedom, lead the Democrats out of their corrupt ways. President DJT I know President Trump's a great businessman, but I am sold. I mean, this sounds like it's a better option for all states across America. Congressman? Well, the good part is, is that Republicans began seeing not just the things that we disagreed with during COVID and during what might be called 2018, but we have seen a continued reliance by the Democratic Party off voter rolls of hundreds and thousands of people who had died. We still have what's called the motor voter law that is in place that keeps millions of people on these rolls. This was when Bill Clinton was president. We've got to go to every ballot is assured of who it came from and what it is for. And the integrity of the ballot system deals with people's desire to want to come vote. So I applaud the president for doing what he's doing. Good ideas is what the Republican Party is about. And the integrity of the ballot box is critical for people to want to believe that their vote matters. Congressman, 20 seconds. I just want to pop this in there. What's happening on the outstanding appropriation bills? And are you expecting that there will be government funding before the January 30 deadline, or are we going to be back up against the shutdown? Well, we're up against the shutdown and I think that people, Republican leaders, understand this and that's why we're working fervently. Next, we have to message what the answer is. Expect us to do it. All right, all right. Your lips to God's ears. We hope it does happen. Thanks so much, Congressman. Always good to see you. Congressman Pete Sessions joining us this morning. Thank you. Coming up, a new clash over immigration enforcement. The Homeland Security Department says New York is releasing thousands of criminal non citizens back onto city streets. We have the details for you next. Welcome back to American Sunrise. I'm Emily Finn. It's great to have you with us this morning. Time now to drain the swamp. And this morning we are fleshing out New York Governor Kathy Hochul The Department of Homeland Security is taking aim at New York tonight, accusing Governor Kathy Hochul of letting thousands of criminal non citizens back onto city streets despite ICE detainer requests. DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McClellan says nearly 7,000 people with convictions, including homicide, assault and sexual offenses, have been released since January, and more than 7,000 others could soon follow. New York officials are pushing back, pointing to state policy that says detainers are requests, not legal orders, and limits cooperation with ICE without a judicial warrant. For more, let's bring in Dr. Gina, Terence Bates and David Brody. Gina, want to go to you first on this one. All of the pushback that we have been seeing from states all over the country on the Trump administration's plans here has been so disappointing. Yeah, well, you know, Democrats like crime. I mean, they literally campaign on it now. And I don't see that possibly changing. I think you have them going to levels of sedition at this point. I don't even think most people are denying that. And the American people are watching, you know, and as they try to make a federal case out of whether it's Trump bringing in the National Guard, whether it's in blowing up the drug boats, you have real people out there. You have parents standing by who have lost children. You have children who've lost parents, you know, and real citizens. Taking a look at this, it's shocking to me that the numbers, the approval numbers of Donald Trump haven't just gone through the roof. Even though not everybody agrees with everything he's doing, just in terms of these domestic things that he's doing, it seems to me like, like it's making, it's got to begin to make a real difference. And lots of us were there when he was making these promises to our friends who've lost loved ones to fentanyl and crime in our streets. And people like Hochul opposing him, I think will backfire at election time. Yeah, look, here's the thing, Gina, you mentioned Democrats are for crime, basically. And if you think about it, it's true, right? I mean, they defended Abrego Garcia, the Maryland man. I put that in air quotes. Right. The gangster down there. And then you've got the narco terrorists now that they're basically defending saying, hey, wait a minute, don't kill those narco terrorists. And then, of course, you know, let's not clean up our streets at all as it relates to sending in the National Guard when it comes to crime. And by the way, in terms of the list that the 7,000 or so, I think it was what, 60 or 6,000 something. First look at some of these numbers and I've got them right here. And this is just, and I just had it. Now it's gone. But here it is. 29 people were convicted of homicide. Excuse me, were charged with homicide, 2,500 assault, 207 sexual assault, predatory offenses, 199 burglaries, 305 robberies and then drug offenses and weapon offenses. And it goes on and on. Imagine telling the populace of any city in America that we're going to just go ahead and release all of those folks out back into the city. I mean that's what they're doing. That's the tangible, that's actually what's happening. David, Gina and Emily and I would submit to you, that's where we come in. We've got to continue to tell these stories. We've got to continue to be transparent about when these people reoffend because statistically a large number of them will reoffend. They will commit some sort of other crime while they're out in the streets. And we need to talk about their immigration status and talk about their past history and how they were allowed back onto the streets from these administrations. We've got to tell these stories. So it's very clear to the American public what's happening there and the impact of the decisions on their communities. Communities. Really well said, Terence. And then, you know, the people in those communities can make decisions about who they're going to support in the next elections. All right, coming up, we are headed down to Wall street for the opening bell and news on a very important drop in prices that the mainstream media won't tell you about. But we will. We'll be back with more American Sunrise in just two minutes. Stick around. Foreign. We know that you want to be a part of something bigger. Things are going to be interesting this morning as ADP is out with a brand new jobs report which says that private payrolls unexpectedly fell about 32,000 or by about 32,000. So that's already impacting the markets in pre market trading. As you can see, the top of our board, the NASDAQ S&P 500 and the Dow are all down. The bottom half is up. But this might be a topsy turvy day and up and down day based on that new ADP jobs report. We'll of course continue to monitor it for you throughout the day. Plus, we're going to be checking in with our resident economist. That would be Jake Novak. That's going to happen here momentarily. In fact, let's get you over to David Brody now for that interview. David, good morning. Okay, good morning, tba. It's time now for a daily dose of dollars and common sense with that guy you just mentioned. That would be Jake Novak. He is American Sunrise Early Edition host, the guy behind Jake's take substack. Hey, Jake, before we get going on some of the topics of the day, let me get this. Your reaction to the latest numbers here that Terrence just mentioned. I'm looking at it here. The November private payrolls unexpectedly fell by 32,000 jobs. It was led by, it says, steep small business job cuts. That's according to the adp. Your reaction this morning? Well, you know, I used to be a huge fan of the ADP jobs report. You know me, David. I don't love the government reports. I like when they come from the private sector. So I'm crushed to tell everyone. And I really, I really mean this. I'm not being silly. We found out during the government shutdown that the ADP private sector jobs report is actually mostly about 80% of it just drawing on those government job reports. It isn't really that much of an independent report. So look, I don't love that number coming out at adp, but I just don't put a huge amount of weight on it right now. That's why I think Terence is right when he says we could have a topsy turvy day. I don't think that these numbers are going to hold. Now. There May be something else negative that happens in the markets to send them down. But if they stay down where they are right now and they're not really far down, this is just a small blip, then it'll be because of something else. I don't be surprised though, if we see a reversal. I'm sorry, I just, I wish the ADP report were more reliable, but to me, it's really just a slight variation on the already bad government jobs reports. Okay, fair enough. Let's talk about housing affordability. It's obviously a big issue in America. It's really a huge part of our inflation problems. But you do have some important good news on this front. So tell us more. Yeah, look, we have seen apartment rental prices decline. Not slower growth, but actually going down. They went down another 1% in November. You know, there was a viewer on Rumble in the last hour when I was talking about this story. It was like, I have fifteen hundred dollars a month. Month. The rent, it's only down fifteen. How's that going to help me? Look, obviously this is a, this is a composite number, 1%, meaning somebody might find hundreds of dollars in savings. I just got email alerts on some apartments I was looking for for my parents last year, hundreds of dollars less per month in rent. So obviously it's pick and choose. But the trend is down. And I would love to see home prices for buyers, buyers of homes go down as well. But this is nice as far as I'm concerned, as far as our inflation, a lot of people are renting. They're going to be renting for life. And we can bemoan that all we want. But while we're in that situation, it's great to see that supply. And by the way, David, this is because of supply. A lot more supply on the market for multi unit home, multifamily type apartment buildings. And the prices are going down. And that's good news. And that'll really help inflation for a lot of Americans. Yeah. And that really is driving a lot of this affordability talk, for sure. There's no doubt about that. There's a new front runner in the race to buy Warner Brothers Discovery. So tell us who that is and what's so compelling about this offer that we're hearing about or you're hearing, you're about to tell us? Yeah, there's two compelling things about. So Netflix has now become the front runner to buy Warner Brothers Discovery. This is going to be a big battle for it, by the way. It's not over yet, but yesterday Netflix Reportedly made an all cash offer. So that's one compelling thing when you're not trading stocks or doing some kind of exotic deal and you're just getting cash and you know the seller likes that. But there's another aspect to this, David, that you and I know are interested in. It's because Netflix is of course, the streaming giant out there. And I am convinced that Warner Brothers Discovery wants to put CNN and some of their other loser channels into streaming only places. And they would love for a new buyer to do it for them so they don't have to be blamed for it or whatever. And Netflix is a great group to do that because you can make the argument of your Warner's, hey, they're really good at streaming. They might actually help cnn. Not, not wink, wink, just get it out of here, get it off of cable and put it on streaming where we can make more money or at least forget about it. Netflix can make that more of a seamless transition. So they might be the front runners now for sure. Very interesting. All right, Jake Novak, great to see you, by the way, on the streaming situation. Netflix and all these places. Enough with the ads. I know I got to pay extra if I don't want ads. Gosh, it drives me insane. Absolutely insane. Anio, do you have anything to say about that in seven seconds? Well, I'm available. They want me to do any ads either for Rav or for somebody else like that. That's what I have to say. And remember, I have extra ad space right here. You can just tattoo it right here. And that's for sale too. Fair enough. Okay. I think my ad space is growing by the day as well. Thank you, sir. I appreciate it. Time for tea. In Denver, the New York Stock Exchange sponsored by amac, the association of Mature American Citizens is the conservative voice for Americans 50 and older. AMAC is fighting for the values that you hold dear. Join today together we can right the course of America. We're less than a minute away from the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. You hear the applause there in the backdrop. We're going to show you that momentarily and then we'll get you to New York and the floor at the New York Stock Stock Exchange for the opening bell there at the Stock Exchange. As you heard, it's been kind of an up and down pre market trading day. It was up. And then the news from ADP came in relative to that jobs report and the numbers went down a little bit. So let's see if there's a bit of a recovery you hear the bell ringing there. Franklin Templeton is at the podium. The markets are now officially open. And just like that, it looks like the nasdaq. Nasdaq, well, it's back to the red. So the top of our board is down right now. Those would be the major indices, the Dow, the S&P 500, and the NASDAQ. They are all down at the moment. The bottom of our screen, though, is looking up. So that might be a sign of things to come today. We'll, of course, continue to monitor it, all of it, for you throughout the day and let you know how things ultimately end up at the end of this day of trading. In the meantime, there are lots of politicians who should be getting coal in their stock market for Christmas. But the Birch Gold Group thinks that as a smart planner, you deserve silver. Still to come here on American Sunrise, we're checking in with our very own RAV reporters who are on the ground at the Pentagon. As the Pentagon hosts its final new media day this week, there's more American Sunrise coming your way in a couple of minutes. Welcome back to American Sunrise. We appreciate you being here with us. We also want to invite you to join the conversation on Getter and Rumble as well as YouTube. But it is now time to take the political pulse of America. And the beat today has to do with the third and final day of the Pentagon's highly controversial media day. It's a three day showcase that was built around a new and drastically reduced press corps. The event follows the mass walkout back in October when most mainstream reporters turned in their credentials in protest of War Secretary Pete Hegseth's new rules for the media. Well, this week the only journalists inside the building are the ones who signed on to those new rules. It's a pledge for reporters to discuss what they plan to publish with Pentagon officials. And today's closing session marks the first sustained multi day press access under this new policy, making it a major test of the Pentagon's commitment to transparency. Joining me now to discuss all of this is rav's chief White House correspondent, Brian Glenn. He is actually at the White House. Also, Ralph, congressional correspondent Benny Ray Harmony and the host of Breaking Point here on rav, David Zier. The two of them are at the Pentagon. Hello to all of you. David, want to start with you. You, of course had an opportunity to get a question in at the Pentagon press event yesterday. Here is your question and then we'll talk on the other side. Hi, David Zia, Real America's Voice. It's great to be here. I want to know if you can confirm any additional National Guard Deployments under title 10 in additional cities and have any governors reached out for help with under Title 32 as well. And how do you determine how National Guard troops, how many are armed? Great question. So I don't have anything to announce at this time in terms of new deployments, but I can tell you that our mission set is critical. We are keeping American cities safe all across this country and we are going to remain committed to that. These missions aren't going to stop in Chicago, in Los Angeles, in D.C. we understand the urgent threat that is facing many of these cities and the National Guard is proud to step in alongside our law enforcement partners to help with that. And I can confirm that everybody in D.C. is now armed and a lot of our D.C. national Guardsmen are now also doing joint patrols with members of the police department here in D.C. so their safety is of course, top of mind. And we will continue to make sure that they're able to do their job in keeping all of our great Americans safe across our cities. David, I wanted to play that sound bite in your question off the top to really illustrate a point that you made earlier is that even under these new rules, it's not like the reporters who are in the room are offering up softball questions to the administration. You guys are still asking the tough questions and the questions that Americans want answers to. Yes. And since I asked that question and there is announcement from the Department of war that 220 or so troops, I believe from Arkansas and Oklahoma are on their way to D.C. to reinforce the 2200 troops that are already here. But I'm going to ask some more tough questions like about the accountability for the Afghanistan early withdrawal reinstatement of our troops from the Vax Shipbuilding for the Navy and the release of the DEI task force report and other things. So and I think the feeling in the room here is that people will ask tough questions. Benny Ray, it's so appropriate for you to be at the Pentagon today as well, in that tomorrow the admiral who oversaw that now controversial September 2nd strike on that drug boat in the Caribbean will be briefing members of the House Armed Services Committee as well as the Senate Armed Services Committee. What's the buzz both on Capitol Hill as well as their at the Pentagon in terms of what may come out of that briefing, if anything? Yeah, Terrence, yesterday we sat down with Congresswoman Mary Miller, as well as Congressman Tim Burchett and Michael Guest, who is on the Homeland Security Committee. And one when we were talking about, you know, Venezuela and what's happening at the Pentagon, you know, specifically I want to touch on this new media that's happening here at the Pentagon because these members of Congress are here for it and they support it. Tim Burchett said this is the new wave of Republicans, this is the new wave of journalism, is these independent sources and where we get our information is online. But this Venezuela conflict that we're talking a lot about. Terrence, there's actually, I believe, I want to say it's today there is a hearing in the Homeland Security Committee and we could potentially hear some some stuff regarding when it to comes to law enforcement and defending defending our nation. But overall, a lot of these a lot of these members Terrence also, I want to touch on Tim Burgent. He said yesterday, he said, you know, Congress is not doing their job when it comes to this. And he kind of put them on blast and said he doesn't plan on them doing anything. So it's going to be a really a toss up as to how we see Congress operating as we move forward. But we do expect to hear some good stuff here at the Pentagon today that we can report back. All right, looking forward to that. Let's go over to the White House where Brian Glenn is this morning. By the way, Brian, you're shining brightly as you always do. Good morning to you. I'm curious what the reaction is there. Yeah, I'm all about. I'm all about the compliments this morning. I'm curious about the reaction to what's happening over at the Pentagon and these new. I'm going to use the word restrictions, if you will, that have been put in place. You were telling us yesterday that the White House is also, also clamping down a little bit on the media and access just to make sure that this is streamlined. So this is really kind of a thing that's across the board. It's not just the White House, as I understand it. I mean, excuse me, not just the Pentagon. No, it's not. No, that's. That's correct. No, it's not, Terrence. It wasn't but about three weeks ago when a memo was passed out that in order to have access to what is described as upper press, that's where you have Carol Levitz, even Chung's office and others up there, you have to have an appointment. You have to fill out a brief form, request the time and get that approved. Now, before that, anyone that's a member of the press here, that's at the White House could simply go in the briefing room, go into Lower Press, see the folks there, and then go up to Upper Press and pop in whenever. And of course, they had some reports where some. Some journalists were up there secretly recording some video and audio and kind of snooping around when someone wasn't at their desk. And so in order to crack down on that, they've made where you have to have an appointment to get up to Upper Press. And that's very similar to what they did at the Pentagon. Often we were, we've been told that you had reporters roaming the halls of the Pentagon, simply maybe getting a hold of someone walking by and saying something casually to the media, and the media taking that and blasting it out as a statement. So I think the steps they've taken here, Terrence, I'm a supporter of getting an appointment to go to Upper Press. It doesn't bother me to have to get an appointment to go see Carolyn Levitt or Steven Cheung. It just doesn't. I am a supporter of making sure that we don't have the media sneaking around the White House, perhaps leaking information. That's not public privilege. So I'm support of that. And of course, it all comes down to the. Also the briefing room seating chart. We've been told for months that a change was coming in, that perhaps Real America's Voice and other conservative outlets that are not normally been a part of the press bowl would have a seat there in the briefing room waiting to see if that happens. So there has been some changes here and I think it's all for the good, to be quite honest with you. I'm sure your knees are hoping for a seat as opposed to having to stand there in the very back of the room for the 45 minutes or hour long press briefing. I typically am sitting here in the studio. So I feel you, Brian. David Z. I want to get back to you because I'd like to get an idea of who is in the room for this new media. The term obviously new media is what's being used now there at the Pentagon. We saw yesterday that Matt Gates was one of the people asking questions. Talk about some of the the other outlets and some of the other notable names who may be in the room during these briefings who traditionally haven't necessarily been there. Yeah, we have Jim Hoft here from the Gateway Pundit looking at Jordan Conradson, White House correspondent, also for the Gateway Pundit, among others here. And we have this guy from gcap, the news, which is great. They're a marathon time reporter on all the events going on in commercial military shipping, by the way. This is about to start. Yeah, we got it. We got a wrap here, Terrence, but we will be coming to you some more throughout the day. We're. Yeah, we're about to hear from some people here. All right. And we thinking that Pete Hegseth is getting ready to do a media availability. So we of course will have more on that. All right, Brian, it's just you and me, brother. So it's like the good old days. Let's talk about what's happening at the White House House today. I was looking at the president's schedule. It didn't seem to be as full of a schedule as it normally is. But then again, after yesterday's what I would call a marathon meeting with all of his cabinet secretaries, I think all of us need a little bit of a breath. Yeah, we do. President Trump has been working nonstop. Matter of fact, according to the some of the work logs here, it's 12 plus hours a day he works. Now we have a different shot for it today. Right behind me is the entrance to the West Wing. And we don't have a one of our service members out there which indicates that he is not in the West Wing, is still in the residence portion of the White House. But we do have two beautiful Christmas trees set outside that door. Now, coming up at about 11 o', clock, President Trump gets his intelligence briefing that takes place here. And then around 2:30 he has another major announcement. Now, if you recall, yesterday's major announcement had to do with the Trump account, which is essentially kind of a 401k, if you will, for anyone born within the term of President Trump's second term here. And of course, those that are eligible, 18 years and under, we can get some more details on that a little bit later. But that was his major announcement yesterday. Now, I don't have any speculation on what that major announcement is is today. So we'll have to stick around and find out. That takes place at 2:30 today, and that will be in the Oval Office. Hey, and Brian, just really quickly before I let you go, want to preview something that I believe is happening tomorrow or Friday. I believe tomorrow the Commander in Peace, as I'm going to name him, is also set to welcome some leaders from Africa to warring African nations. And they're going to officially sign a peace deal, is my understanding. Which again, I think just cements how President Trump has been instrumental in bringing peace around the world. It has been, you know, Terrence, he often claims he's he's ended eight, nine wars. This was one of them that he really prides himself on. And of course, the continuous struggle between Ukraine and Russia continues that we've had delegates from the US Try to wrap that up. But, but yes, big day tomorrow. Once again, the president of peace will address two nations and they'll come together and we'll solidify that tomorrow. That happens, I think around 2:30 local time. So stay tuned for that as well. All right, Brian, Brian Glenn reporting for us from the White House. Always good to see you, Brian. We'll talk to you later on in the day. Thank you, Terrence. Of course. We're going to take a quick break, folks. When we come back, though, Senator Chuck Schumer accusing War Secretary Pete Hegseth of lying and hiding critical information. The details ahead. First, though, a message from David Brody on what you need to know about Crypto.com. you know, Trump Media just signed a massive $6.4 billion deal with Yorkville Acquisition Corp. It is time now to spill some tea. And in the cup today, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. Schumer is escalating his criticism of Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, accusing him of hiding something regarding a so called double tap on a suspected drug trafficking boat back in September. Schumer says Hegseth has misled the public and must release the full tapes of the attack. And he wants top military leaders under oath before congressional committees to explain what happened, who knew about it and why. The Pentagon's story has changed. Here was the Senate minority leader calling for Hegseth to testify before Congress yesterday. Let's take a look. This is such a serious matter that Secretary Hegseth himself should come before the Congress to testify under oath about the nature of his order, the evidence supporting the strikes and an evidence explanation for what the goals are in Venezuela. Since then the Secretary of War stated he did not order that follow up strike and the operation was under command of Admiral Mitch Bradley. For more let's bring in David Brody, Terence Bates and Dr. Gina. Terence. You know I was looking at the the four box this morning of the the other networks and even MSNBC this morning was trying to say that Hegseth is trying to distance himself from this. I think there is going to be a bit that unfolds here. Yeah. And we're going to get, well, we probably won't get answers but Congress is expected to get some answers tomorrow as Admiral, Admiral Bradley is going to be meeting with members of the Armed Services Committee, both the House and the Senate Armed Services Committees tomorrow to brief them on the report to brief them on what really happened. Hopefully following that briefing, some of the calls against Pete Hegseth will in fact die down and quiet down a little bit. And hopefully lawmakers will have some real information to go on as they continue what I'm going to call a witch hunt to some degree. But again, I believe that it's, it's appropriate to get whatever information and get whatever clarity on what happened out there. But hopefully, once the situation is fully explained, some of the words like war crimes and some of these other sort of incidents, inflammatory terms that have been used in response or in relation to what happened will die down and we'll get a better sense of what really happened. And again, when I say David will, I'm not expecting that we, the public, are going to get much more information unless some of these members of Congress release certain things. But since it is classified, that's very likely not going to happen. But hopefully some of the rhetoric definitely subsides. Well, a couple of things. First of all, we are going to get answers because they're going to be under oath, and so you assume, but it's not gonna be public. It's my understanding that this meeting tomorrow at least, isn't going to be public. Are you understanding something different? This just in from Washington, D.C. anything that is private becomes public. So we'll get it. We will get that information. There's no doubt about that. But we want to see the audio. We want to see the video. Excuse me. And want to hear the audio. And though that might not become public specifically, we should get drips and drabs of exactly what's going on. We need answers. I mean, I think that's fine. No problem. But for Chuck Schumer to just kind of come out and say, oh, Hegset's lying. Come on, you know, let's slow everybody's role here and let's just get the information. I think what's interesting to me here is that they're not, they, the White House, not necessarily denying that Hegset said kill them all. What they're saying is, is that he said it before the first strike. So if it was said before the first strike, then what happens? Like when he left, he said he left the room and there was a second strike. Well, then what happens if they're not all killed at that point? I think that's where it gets a little bit murky. And that's what we need to kind of, we stop with the dog and pony show. This is all about getting Hegseth out. This has nothing to do with reality. If these people were concerned about this, then they would be talking about what Obama did, what Biden did. There were all sorts of double strikes. Then they didn't care about it then. Why do they care about it now? A complete hypocrisy. No MAGA has had sex back. It's not gonna be Hegseth. I don't think it'll be Cash Patel. If anybody's going from the cabinet, it's gonna be Pam Bondi. All right. Still to come on American Sunrise, a Bay Area rodeo is giving children with special needs the chance to saddle up and shine. And the heartwarming moments are bringing cowboys and parents to tears. It's a real dose of American sunshine. That's after the break. Don't miss it. Sam, Take it from here. Brody, take it from here. Hey, it's my ringtone. All right, you guys. Welcome back to American sun advice. I'm Dr. G. Thanks so much for joining us today. Time now for our sunny side up and in the pan. Today, a unique rodeo giving children with developmental challenges a day they'll never forget. A little partners rodeo, hosted by a cowboy whose own son was born with down syndrome, invites 40 children to saddle up for a full day of pony rides, lasso practice, and even a turn on the mechanical bull. Organized by the Exceptional Needs Network in Livermore, the event gives every child a place where they can try new things, feel safe, and just be themselves. No judgment, just support. Here's what event organizer Donny Perry has had to say. It's hard to find things that they can do and do safely and have fun. Everybody wants to be a cowboy cowgirl at some point in time in their lives. This is the way that we can make that dream come true. Is it normal that this is that time in my life? I never wanted to be a cowgirl when I was a little girl. Now it's all I want. Literally, like under the Christmas tree this year, my kids are getting hats and boots and. Yeah, but this is such an incredible way to help children with special needs, David. And really, there's just something so unique about being near the spirit of a horse. I love it so much. I agree. And rodeo specifically. You know, I think of my mom. I went out to Santa Fe, New Mexico, last year, and I took my mom, who has Alzheimer's, took her to the rodeo, and, boy, you know, she's 84 years old, and she loved that rodeo. There's something about the kid spirit in you that just kind of comes back, if you will. And she just had a great old time. So, you know, it's therapeutic for both young and old. T. Bates. No, agreed. And I think even riding on a horse. I've done stories on this in the past, even for kids with any sort of disability. Just the motion of being on a horse, that in and of itself can be therapeutic and can really help. And so being in this sort of environment, I. I can only imagine the kind of fun that it was for those kids and what a treat for them. So kudos to him. Plus, I have to admit, I love his mustache, slash beard, whatever that big long thing was. I want one of those. The ZZ Top, you know? And I want to say, even for children that don't necessarily have special needs, one of my children was going through sort of a hard personal time, and we took up riding together. And it has been very therapeutic for her and for both of us. We also want to wish our amazing booker, Kimberly, a very happy birthday. That is not an easy job, you guys. And we appreciate our booking team of Kimberly and Alison, but happy 50th birthday to Kimberly. War room is up next. Children love God. What did I do wrong? What did I do wrong? You push age out. I was told you never tell a woman. This is an iHeart podcast. Guaranteed Human.
This episode offers a broad, energetic survey of political, cultural, and current events through the lens of conservative commentary, American values, and "real news." The hosts—Dr. Gina, David Brody, Terrence Bates, and guests—focus on the aftermath and deeper implications of a Republican special election win in Tennessee, possible red flags for the GOP, a major fraud scandal involving Somali immigrants in Minnesota, shake-ups in Pentagon press access, battles over immigration enforcement, President Trump’s health and media bias, as well as community resilience in the wake of tragedy.
Dr. Gina (on the Tennessee election outcome):
“This should have been a grand slam. This should have been, you know, at least 12 more points than it ended up being. So, you know, you want to give people a chance to enjoy their victory while at the same time it is rather Pyrrhic, David, because as we are approaching the midterms, this number needed to be a lot more solid. It tells Republicans it's a big red flag.” (09:00)
David Brody (on Democratic gains in rural Tennessee):
“A nine point victory in a plus 20 district, plus 24 at times, even before that for the president. That's a problem. And here's even a bigger problem: in the rural counties, in that district last night, the Democrat was outperforming past Democrats by 10 points.” (09:26)
President Trump (on the Minnesota Somali fraud case):
“They ripped off Somalians, ripped off that state for billions of dollars. Billions every year. Billions of dollars. And they contribute nothing... I don’t want them in our country... Their country stinks.” (22:55)
Caroline Levitt (on media bias):
“There are so many fake stories that have inaccurate characterizations... It’s all based on anonymous sourcing. The standard for journalism has dropped to a historic low in this country.” (01:36:45)
Curtis Houck (on the new Media Bias Tracker):
“You can sort it by journalist, by outlet, why it’s biased... They cite NewsBusters along the way, which we appreciate... The thing about the President's health is particularly egregious. It was ridiculous and irresponsible.” (01:39:10)
Brian Glenn (on new White House press access):
“I am a supporter of making sure that we don't have the media sneaking around the White House, perhaps leaking information that's not public privilege.” (01:55:18)
Father Frank Pavone (on healing and faith):
“Tragedy doesn't ruin the Christmas season... it is the Advent and Christmas season that answer tragedy. Violence is conquered, sin is conquered, and even death, death is conquered [in Christ].” (02:29:50)

This episode of "American Sunrise" illustrates the shifting media landscape in politics, the Republican base’s anxieties heading into the midterms, and the ongoing cultural clash around immigration, crime, and media trust. Through a mix of news analysis, personal connection, and faith-based perspective, the hosts aim to both inform and energize an audience that feels underserved by legacy media.
