This is American Sunrise Early Edition. I am Brian Glenn. Thanks so much for joining us on this Wednesday. Here are some of the things that we're tracking. First, all eyes are from the White House and a major military buildup in the Middle East. Two US Carrier strike groups now in position, foreign policy and national security front and center with America first approach. The latest developments on that coming up. Then next, another mass shooting and another transgender suspect, this time at a high school hockey game in Rhode Island. Police say the gunman, a father, opened fire on family members before taking his own life. Multiple victims shot, several left in critical conditions. Authorities call it a targeted attack. We'll break it down. What happened and the questions now be erased. And later, Week three in the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie. No DNA match from the gloves found nearer home. The FBI confirming the DNA does not match anyone in the national database as well, family members now officially cleared as suspects. No arrest, no persons of interest. Tens of thousands of tips, but still no breakthrough. The search continues and so does our live coverage from Tucson. We'll have that plus much more on america's Sunrise EARLY EDITION starts right now.

All right, before we go any further, let's get ready for the day. Here's how you can start off your morning with us. Take a look at the bottom of the screen right now. That is a QR code. That is your direct line to the Weather Nation. Scan it, get connected. And during the 9am hour of American Sunrise, we'll feature your hometown forecast. So head to the Real American Voice chat on Getter Rumble and YouTube and you could be next. All right. But first of all, let's get a check on the national forecast. Joining us now is Weather Nation's Tracy Anthony. Tracy, welcome on this hump day Wednesday.
Tracy Anthony
Yeah, you know, almost a Friday. You can see it light at the end of the tunnel. You know, weather wise, too, we have had a ton go on over the last 24, 36 hours. And Brian, this is video from Soda Springs, California. Now, some of these mountains have picked up over three feet of snow and it's that heavy, wet snow and avalanches are becoming a big concern. And there are some missing skiers after the avalanches that took place yesterday. So look at these whiteout conditions. It makes driving nearly impossible. And we're still bracing for feet of snow in some of these higher elevations. So several systems will continue to work on shore out west. And it's much needed snow. We've been running a deficit so far this season, but it is causing some major concerns. And we'll see these systems continue to make their way across the northern tier of the country. That's going to bring in kind of a wintry mood precipitation across the Great Lakes, so some ice and freezing rain will be possible. And then the Central Plains, this is where those temperatures are well above average. And I told you yesterday we were talking about the fire danger. Well, we had a handful of fires break out across the Central Plains. This is a look from Oklahoma. This was in the Panhandle and the Ranger Road fire has burned over 145,000 acres just in a day. We're talking winds up to 60, 70 miles per hour spreading this blaze. Four firefighters were injured. And we still have winds and Dry, warm conditions throughout the day today. And out west areas like LA just kind of want to show you these videos because it's just so incredible when you see footage like this. They have been inundated with rain, picking up 4 to 5 inches of rain in the last two days. You can see rivers already running, swollen, running over their banks and flooding will continue to be a big concern across California. So it's the high country snow. We're also dealing with the gusty winds widespread from California all the way to the plains and that's also kicking up some dust in some of the dry spots. This was Pueblo, Colorado yesterday as dust caused extremely low visibility on the roadways and it did cause a multiple vehicle pileup. So, Brian, we have just had kind of a crazy weather week so far with these storm systems and they're just so aggressive this week.
Seth Denson
They are.
Brian Glenn
We talked about these transitional months of weather patterns going from warm, humid air, cold air down to, you know, warm, humid things happen, especially in the, in the central Ohio Valley there. I know that we've got some alerts for that as well, Tracy. We appreciate it. As a reminder, everyone, scan that QR code down there. Go there and get your hometown forecast.
Tracy Anthony
We'll see how you were right.
Chris Salcedo
Yeah.
Tracy Anthony
There is a severe weather outlook for Thursday. So I'll break that down later on this morning.
Brian Glenn
That sounds good. Thank you so much. All right, let's turn our attention to our top story right now, Iran. The USS Gerald Ford passed through Gibraltar within the last 24 hours. It's now in the Mediterranean in strike range. Now, this marks the largest U.S. military buildup in the region in two decades. It's becoming clear it's no longer about if, it's about about when. That's the assessment of Brandon Weikart, senior editor at 1945. Com geopolitical analyst. And Brandon joins us now. Is that a fair assessment that we've now ruled out the if it's going to happen? Now we're into the when and how long that this will take?
Brandon Weikart
Yes, I think that's a very fair assessment. It's what I've been saying for the last week or so. You always have to follow the military movements more than the diplomatic Jaw. Jaw. It was very obvious to me that the president, because of his relationship with Netanyahu of Israel, they are on the same page. They want to, you know, neuter the Iranian threat and they think that negotiations probably won't work. I think that the negotiations were ruse to buy time for the Ford to arrive on station. It is now there, they're ready to roll and I think Trump's going to throw the dice very soon.
Brian Glenn
Yeah, you know, we were talking about some of the concerns right now going into the midterms and of course you've got the economy. I think is would probably be number one if I was to stand out of any grocery store and ask the first hundred people who walk in the grocery store or walk out, what's their top concern? It is affordability and the fact that we can all agree that inflation has come down quite a bit since the double digit inflation under Joe Biden. There's no argument argument there. But I think getting into any type of long term escalation with a foreign country is not on anyone's top 10 list.
Brandon Weikart
Not on anyone's top 10 list. And furthermore, there is a real downside risk here to the actual sailors and ships that have been deployed. We look at Iran and we think, oh, it's a paper tiger. But as I said before, it's a paper tiger with steel claws. They do have specific capabilities like these anti ship ballistic missiles that are specifically designed with help from China and Russia to if not sink an American carrier to damage the flight deck so badly that we can't use it and it becomes a basically a wasting asset. And with our defense industrial base and naval shipyards weak as they are right now, if we have one of those carriers damaged or destroyed, we're not replacing it and we're already down a carrier because the Nimitz is being decommissioned. So we are talking about a real crisis in the Navy. And also by the way, the embarrassment of losing a carrier is very real, which will have negative impacts for the president obviously going into these midterms.
Brian Glenn
Yeah. And of course, as far as it is President Trump willing to go through with this, we, we've talked before about there were some dates that come up. Some of the other allies said hey, we're not ready to do anything, we're not ready. When do, do you think, do you think we're going to get to the point and do you think it happens within the next 30 days where President Trump says okay, you know what, now is the time to take action?
Brandon Weikart
I think that is the far likelier outcome here than negotiations working. And I say this is somebody who would love to see some kind of off ramp. But I think the President has made the decision. He wanted to go January 15th and he was talked out of it by the Arabs. He wanted to go three weeks ago. He was talked out of it by the Arabs and His own commanders who said, hey, not ready. We're not built up fully. Now they're built up fully. It's the, one of the largest deployments in 20 plus years in the Middle East. Uh, you know, these guys in the Trump administration want to go. They want to get rid of, you know, the Iranians. And the Iranians are not going to back down. So the only option left now is for Israel and, and, and America to go. I think Israel's going to strike first, like in the twelve Day War. It's going to be coordinated, though. They're going to strike first and whatever they can't hit, then suddenly you're going to see this comprehensive, massive set of airstrikes and missile strikes from submarines going after the Iranian regime. Not just nuclear sites, not just military targets, but the regime. And in that time, you will have the Iranians retaliate with those thousands of missiles, both at our ships, our bases, and Israel.
Brian Glenn
Okay, we've got the State of the Union coming up next week. How much of this talk, this Iranian talk, will be built into that speech? And how do you think he will position it to make it look like it's America first to go on a proactive attack to Iran?
Brandon Weikart
Well, I don't know how much of the speech will be focused on that. I'm sure it will be part of it. But he's going to be spinning this, saying that, hey, remember in 2016, from the beginning I always said Iran can't have nukes. You know, the deal with the Obama was terrible. We're gonna have to do this because I've been saying this from the beginning, it's America first because we can't survive anywhere with Iran having nukes. And on some level, yes, that's true, we don't want them to have nukes. But let's get real. They have not been able to surge their, their limited nuclear weapons capabilities for years. The only time the Iranians have lashed out with their very serious missiles was when they, last year when they were attacked. So as I said on another program last week, it looks to me like the Iranians are actually capable of staying their hand. And I don't think that this is necessary, but I think the President's going to spin it as saying, I've always said Iran can't have nukes. I've always said we can't. We're not going to let that regime walk all over us. And that's how he's going to spin it.
Brian Glenn
Yeah, well, like I said before, he could walk all over Any small town American, ask the Americans what is concerning to you and I, I can promise you donuts of dollars. They are not saying attacking Iran. They're just not.
Brandon Weikart
That's right. It's not America first.
Brian Glenn
It's not America first. But we're not. And we're. And let's just clear transparency. Brandon, you and I are not advocating to, you know, lift up the Iranian regime. Not at all. We just don't think it's our responsibility to handle any of this.
Brandon Weikart
The Iranian people must take care of their own business, as we had to do during our revolution.
Brian Glenn
Yeah, absolutely. And of course you've got some of these, you know, the boomer talking points on Fox News, all the retired military generals, they are pushing us.
Brandon Weikart
Haven't won a war. Those guys haven't won a war since 1945.
Brian Glenn
Yeah.
Brandon Weikart
Meanwhile, I think those guys should be listened to.
Brian Glenn
And we see exactly what happens when we invade countries and disrupt everything there. And that always turns out nice. Brandon, thank you so much. How can people find more information on this and much more that you talk about?

All right. Welcome back, America Sunrise EARLY edition. I am Brian Glenn. That's a live look at the White House which coming up today at 1 o', clock, Carolyn Levitt will have a press briefing. We'll have that for you live as it happens. We're tracking the White House. We're tracking the markets as well and the stories that are shaping up your day. As always, we invite you to join the conversation over on Getter, YouTube and Rumble. We're live and we are listening. Now a quick check on Wall street as we head towards today's opening bell. Modest gains on Wall street, Dow just up 32 points, closing at 49, 533. The Nasdaq also slightly higher, up 32 points, ending the session at 22, 570. As we head toward the opening bell. We'll keep an eye on that. Also developing now, President Trump announces a 5, $550 billion trade deal with Japan that's huge. The agreement includes major investments in US Energy and manufacturing, oil and gas projects in Texas and Ohio, critical minerals in Georgia. The White House says hundreds of thousands of jobs will be creative and a major boost to the American industrial base. The president crediting tariffs for making it possible, calling it, quote, a historic moment. Joining us now, Seth Denson, business and market analyst.
Tom Simon
Seth.
Brian Glenn
Good morning, by the way.
Tom Simon
Morning.
Brian Glenn
Yeah. Talking about this deal with Japan, how does this rank as far as what does it mean to the US Economy? How big is this deal?
Seth Denson
It's a significant investment, Brian. And what I like about this investment is it's particularly into those things that the Trump administration, specifically the president, was pushing for in this tariff war, if you want to call it that, of refortifying US Based manufacturing. Now, are we going to get back to the manufacturing levels we were at maybe in the 50s or 60s? Probably not. But over the last 40 years, we have watched our manufacturing powerhouse capabilities get shift offshore into other markets. We effectively built China based on that. And so what this deal does is it fortifies our manufacturing capabilities specific in oil and gas and other manufacturing structures across the US and this will have real material impact, not just in the markets, but at the dining room table, because that's jobs. And when you reinforce manufacturing jobs, those are middle class, higher wage jobs. So this is a big deal. It's got an initial phase that will and then it will phase in over time, but a $36 billion initial phase and then ultimately half a trillion dollars over the course of the time of the trade deal.
Brian Glenn
All right, well, I want to talk about that jobs report from 2025 here in just a second. But as we the previous segment we talked about this buildup, this escalation around the Middle east and what I would presume to be some type of eventual strike. How does that affect the markets right now? Do the markets get jittery when you start to see some of this military buildup all the way across the world thinking that we will be launched into some type of military action?
Seth Denson
No question geopolitical unrest will set the markets off into a little bit of a different structure. You see gold tend to rise and minerals tend to rise, those commodity components. There is a war machine of industry that tends to see a boost in their overall investment that incomes from the market as a result of this. Not to say that that is a reason why sometimes we see escalation, but there are beneficiaries of that because that money's got to go somewhere and money doesn't care. I oftentimes will say that there's a lot of money in politics. There's no politics in money. It's going to go where it's going to expand. And so as we start to see tensions rise, there are sectors that do better than but by and large the markets don't like geopolitical unrest in a macro level. And my hope is that we see de escalation very quickly.
Brian Glenn
I agree with you, but we had about 35 seconds left. I'm sorry to cut this short. Jobs report 2025 a little bit of revision on that.
Seth Denson
Little bit. Just about 90%. Meaning that about 90% of the jobs that we said in the headlines we had last year we didn't have. And this speaks to the fact that we need real leadership at the Bureau of Labor and Statistics. I know that President Trump very quickly came in, by the way, this is multi years of Mrs. And revisions at big numbers. The Trump administration tried to come in, reset the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, EG Antoni was appointed then ultimately didn't make it through the process. We got to get a new head of BLS over there so that we can get numbers. It helps in the headlines but not at the home front. So we got to get this fixed.
Brian Glenn
That's Denton. Thank you so much for joining us this morning. I appreciate it. Thank you.
Seth Denson
Good to see you, Brian.
Brian Glenn

Welcome back, America Sunrise EARLY Edition, a live look at our nation's capital there. Great shot. They're good to have you with us on this morning. We're watching, tracking the White House, the markets and all the stories that are shaping up your day. And as always, we invite you to join the conversation on Getter, YouTube and Rumble. We're live and we are listening. All right, moving on to the election front. Virginia may be the Democrat playbook for November. For 2028 run as a moderate, win purple state governor from the left now, Governor Abigail Spamberger sold moderation but delivered a very much a progressive playbook. And now the soft sale goes national. Hillary Clinton suddenly warning about mass migration. Take a listen.
Olympics Announcer
I think we need to call it for what it is. Secretary, There is a legitimate reason to have a debate about things like migration. It went too far. It's been disruptive and destabilizing and it needs to be fixed in a humane way with secure borders that don't torture and kill people.
Brian Glenn
And along with that, Barack Obama even talked about homelessness. And so why this switch? The tone shifts. The agenda does not. Joining us now, radio talk show host Chris Salcedo, author of the Rise of the Liberty Loving Latino. Chris, we'll get to, from what I understand, you were at a very interesting attorney general debate last night. We'll get into that in just a second. But first of all, the Democrats all of a sudden are leaning into being moderates. But when they get in office, we know which direction they go.
Chris Salcedo
Oh, it's all a lie. I mean, Joe Biden ran as a, remember Brian, he ran as a moderate, right? And we have never had or president auto pen. We've never had a more progressive, anti American agenda unleashed on us. So this is all a lie. It's designed to con the American people. And frankly, some people who vote Democrat will be silly enough to actually believe this. A lot of Democrats crossed over to vote for President Trump because he promised to secure the border. Because Hillary Clinton was right. It was. She calls it migration. It's not migration. It's called illegal immigration. That's what it is. Illegal aliens traipsing into America. We can't be afraid to call it the legal term of art. Like the Associated Press style guide is. So let's all, let's all take a chill pill. The Democrats are not moderate. The Democrats are leftists and Marxists. They will remain leftists and Marxists. Spanberger proves it. They all prove it. Once they get power, they impose their will on the American people and the rule of law be damned.
Brian Glenn
Look what Mandani is already talking about in New York City. He went and said, okay, if I can't tax the billionaires, I'm going to tax you and you guys are going to pay more. A pivot there as well.
Chris Salcedo
Oh yeah, and look at what's happening with Newsom. On the other end of the, on the other end of the United States, he is, has imposed a massive billionaires tax. And what are the billionaires who by the way serve to get these, these Marxists and these leftists elected? They're fleeing California because they want to be taxed out of their minds. Mark Zuckerberg, this Zuckerbucks man himself who runs left wing social media platforms that discriminate against conservatives, well guess what? He's leaving. He's going to the sunshiny state of Florida where he can be a subversive, I guess and use his, his billions, non taxed billions to be able to put more of these left wingers in power. It's insane. I just hope the American people wake up.
Brian Glenn
I hope they do too. I saw A list of 2028 hopefuls from the Democrats side. It had Kamala Harris leading the pack. Shortly behind that you had ones like aoc, Josh Shapiro, Pete Buttigieg was on there as well. Why is it in Gavin Newsom, why is their bench so weak? I mean if we were to roll out our hopefuls for 2028, we have some pretty solid people with great experience. But then.
Chris Salcedo
Yes, but look, Brian, you're right. And from, from an American's perspective, the left's bench is weak. Why? Because they're anti American. Our side, we look at it and go, well wait a minute, we got some, some pro American, pro Constitution individuals who believe in the rule of law, the stability and the prosperity that what has been the tradition of the United States of America on the Democrat side, most common sense Americans. Look at man, you guys are weak. Because they don't believe in the American system. They don't believe in our Constitution. They have worked tirelessly all of their bench to undermine the United States Constitution. This is their, this is their job, in conjunction with those around the globe, these elitists, these Marxists around the globe, to bring down the last bastion of hope and freedom in the world. And that is the United States.
Brian Glenn
Yeah, you're right. All right, Chris, how can people get your book the Rise of the Liberty Loving Latino? It's a great one of the best sellers as I encourage our viewers. But how can they reach out and get that?
Chris Salcedo
Well, it's not only that, does it detail the greatest political revolution to hit this country since the formation of the Republican Party. In this book, it also says how we keep it going, how we keep the America first promise going. Remembering the precepts of President Donald J. Trump and how it, it was such an appeal to liberty loving Latinos, millions of them, that they crossed over and voted for him. Go to Amazon.com, amazon.com folks, and you can get the rise of the liberty loving Latino and make my publisher very, very happy.
Brian Glenn
Yeah, make you happy too, Chris. Thanks to have you on this Wednesday. I appreciate it.
Chris Salcedo
See you, Brian.
Brian Glenn
Thank you. Moving on. We report stories like this all the time. Forged documents, stolen identities, homes taken right out from under people. And here's the part that matters. It doesn't take a hacker just to file a piece of paper at your county's office. That's why we're talking about it and why we're partnered up with Home Title Lock. It's the highlighting the risk. And here's what you need to know. A home title lock, indeed a fraud. A growing epidemic here in the US Properties are being stolen, used for their equity. Even the county recorder knows a document is fake. The county is legally required to record it. Between the gaps our legal system and the expansion of the Internet and public record availability, these crimes are getting easier and easier to commit because victims generally don't know anything about it until it's too late. They're left with a legal, financial and emotional nightmare to unwind. Joining us now is Tom Simon, a former FBI agent and licensed private investigator and the authority on financial crime. Tom, what exactly? Home title, Home title fraud, and why is this type of fraud spreading so quickly?
Tom Simon
Well, like you said in your excellent introduction, there's nobody watching the store at the county clerk's office. Their job is not to assess the reality and the validity of these deeds that come in that, transfer ownership of your home from the proper owner to someone else. Their job is just to record it. A recent case in Albany, New York, there was a fellow by the name of Jorge Vincente. He was a tenant from hell renting his place. He wasn't paying the rent, but before the sheriffs could come to throw his stuff out on the streets during the eviction proceedings, he filed a deed with his county clerk's office up in Albany to transfer ownership of his landlord's home into the name of his stepfather. Then when the sheriffs came, he was able to produce documents from the county clerk's office indicating that the landlord did not, in fact, own the house, and the sheriffs had to leave with their tail between their legs. Obviously, the real landlords freaked out and called the police, who ended up arresting Jorge for false, you know, basically creating false documents in a fraud case. Jorge went to trial and lost means looking at up to 10 years in prison for this. The important thing, though, to take away is even though this has a happy ending, that the criminal process does not restore ownership of the home back to the landlords. They need to go through the expensive civil process to make that happen. Unless they have a product like Home Title Lock.
Brian Glenn
This is incredible how criminals can actually take over your home without even stepping foot in it. But who is at risk the most? Like, who does this happen to the most? Is it the elderly? Is it people who just don't pay attention to what's going on? Who's at risk?
Tom Simon
Senior citizens are probably the most vulnerable victims to this thing because they sort of take it for granted that they own their home, that they've been in a long time. But I would argue that any American who has equity in their home is potentially at risk of this thing. And for most Americans, myself included, your single largest asset is the equity in your home. And all it takes is for someone to file some documents at your county clerk's office. When that home is stolen from you, then they often go out and get a loan or sell that house out from under you, and you won't even know it occurred until the foreclosure notices start arriving in the mail months later.
Brian Glenn
Yeah. And then the emotional damage. And all this has got to be pretty taxing on somebody. Is that correct?
Tom Simon
Absolutely. Yeah. I mean, which is why, again, I like to take. I'm a subscriber to Home Title Lock. I take that off my shoulders by outsourcing it to Home Title Lock. Who's going to monitor my home title status? They're going to notify me if anything goes sideways. And if God forbid someone steals my home, they're going to pay a million dollars to restore it with their legal team. Their US Based legal team.
Brian Glenn
Yeah. All right. And so how can a service like Home Title Lock help homeowners stay protected? What's the first step they need to do?
Tom Simon
Let's go to hometitle lock.com you can the code Sunrise will get you a free trial and let's start with getting a title report from them. They'll do that for you right off the bat to just understand what the status of your current title and then after that it's really just a monitoring and notification process.
Brian Glenn
Tom, thank you so much for coming on with us this morning as we got to protect the homeowners there. And check out Home Title lock and go to hometoderlock.com use promo code like he said Sunrise for a free trial and a in a title history report. That's hometitlelock.com go check it out. Brian Glenn
Hi. Welcome again to america's Sunrise EARLY edition. I am Brian Glenn. Let's head over to the newsroom in Denver to get the very latest headlines from Terrance Bates. Good morning, TERRENCE Hey, Brian.
Terrence Bates
Good morning. I want to start in Minneapolis where state law enforcement, along with federal investigators, are looking into allegations that ICE agents beat a man so severely that he landed in a Minneapolis intensive care unit. The Mexican national who was the target of an arrest claims that the agents pulled him out of his car, threw him to the ground, and then repeatedly hit him in the head with the steel baton, resulting in multiple skull fractures. Well, ICE blames the guy saying that he tried to run from agents while he was handcuffed and, quote, fell and hit his head against a concrete wall. That's the quote from ice. Doctors argue the man's injuries aren't consistent with that narrative, though. Instead, a CT scan showed fractures to the front, back and both sides of the guy's skull. Both federal and local investigators have been looking for surveillance video from the shopping center where all of this happened on January 8th in hopes of determining what actually went down. This latest investigation, though, comes amid another federal investigation into whether two Eyes off officers lied under oath about a shooting in Minneapolis. It turns out that video evidence contradicted their sworn testimony. Brian and this is just another narrative that is starting to raise questions about the operation there in Minneapolis. Brian, unfortunately, these sorts of things just aren't helping the administration's case.
Brian Glenn
It's not. I mean, this is a horrible incident. Even if he did run and hit his head on a, on a wall, that, that's unfortunate that it happened, but the fact that, that we're even questioning whether or not ICE agents would swing a steel baton at somebody's head. I think there's other parts in the body. They could probably isolate somebody, but it's a horrible story.
Tom Simon
Let's see.
Brian Glenn
Let's wait for the investigation, though, just like you said.
Terrence Bates
Absolutely.
Brian Glenn
I'm willing to do that. And look, I'm all pro ice, so all these people in the getter chat that might say, oh, Brian's, you know, criticizing ice, I'm pro ice, I'm pro getting these illegal criminals off the street, but you can't if, in fact this is true. You cannot beat people over the head with the steel baton.
Tom Simon
Sorry.
Terrence Bates
No, absolutely.
Brian Glenn
I would just add.
Terrence Bates
No, agreed. I will just add, though, as we wait for these investigations to play out, the reality is the public reaction there in Minneapolis St. Paul to these agents, all the protests, how aggressive some of those protesters got. One has to imagine that many of these ICE agents, many of these immigration agents, were already on edge anyway. And so any little thing, any sort of resistance probably could take them over the edge. I'm not saying it's right, but, you know, given kind of the circumstances there, it's just very unfortunate. It must have been a stressful situation for many of those ICE agents. By the way, Brian, President Trump appears to be losing a bit of support for his immigration policies. There's a new Reuters Ipsos poll out this morning that finds 38% of respondents believe the President is doing a good job on its signature issue. That, by the way, is compared to 39% in a similar poll back in January, shortly after 47 took office. Now, in the early months of the second Trump presidency, support of his illegal immigration crackdown rose to as high as 50%. This latest Reuters Ipsos poll shows that male voters in in particular are losing enthusiasm for the handling of immigration issues. 41% are giving him the thumbs up these days, compared to nearly 50% just a year ago. And similarly, about 35% of women support the administration's actions, compared to about 40% who were polled just last year. This Reuters Ipsos poll was conducted over four days and it ended on Monday. So are you buying those numbers, Brian? Do you think that enthusiasm is waning for President Trump's immigration policy?
Brian Glenn
I think the poll number, some poll numbers can be really skewed. You don't know exactly who they asked. I think the majority of Americans like the fact that criminals are being removed off our streets. Bad people, Bad guys, criminals, murderers, rapists, people assault, human trafficking. That's a good thing. Sometime they may take issue in the method that, that's. That's being implemented to remove them. But I think overall, people are unfavorable of ice. They just don't like the technique sometimes. And I can understand that.
Terrence Bates
You know, Brian, I'm glad you brought that point up. I'm curious, do you think it's the technique or the fact that they're seeing it? If it was out of sight, out of mind, you weren't seeing people getting pulled out of cars. You weren't seeing how it's all playing out. But you know that bad guys are being pulled off street. Would anyone care? Or is it when you see it front and center, you see the aggressive tactics, sometimes that's what's off putting.
Brian Glenn
Yeah, well, the difference between, like under the Obama administration, they, they threw out far more right now than President Trump did it. They just didn't have TV cameras in front of them while they did it. So that's the biggest thing. Now we live in this 24. 7 news cycle we have. And especially now in the Trump administration, every network wants to make sure they have cameras as they, you know, do these, these extractions from people in these homes and stuff. So yeah, you're right. It's because we're seeing it more. But I still think at the end of the day, you know, there's better tactics to take somebody down than if in fact someone did swing a steel baton at someone's head. I do think that's a little excessive.
Terrence Bates
No, that agreed. But if you're a police officer, an ICE agent, and you tell me to get out of my car, I'm going to comply immediately.
Brian Glenn
Oh, yeah.
Terrence Bates
You know, I've had these conversations a lot, Terrence.
Brian Glenn
Comply and don't die. Right? Comply and don't die.
Terrence Bates
There you go. There you go. I was just gonna say I've had those conversations a lot. And you know, there seems to be this. I've got rights. I've got this. And you know what, you do have rights. But live in order to be able to take advantage of those rights. Get out, do what they ask, make it home safely to your family. And then if you have an issue, you can always try to prosecute on the back end. But you can't prosecute if you're dead. Can't prosecute that. All right, Brian, one last quick story. Want to show you this. This is kind of interesting. It's out of the state here in Colorado. At least four people dead, 29 others rushed to the hospital with injuries after a so called brownout caused crashes involving more than 30 vehicles. You can see the crashes here. All of this happened on Interstate 25 in southern Colorado. The brownout was caused by heavy wind that kicked in up dirt in the area, making it nearly impossible for drivers to see. There were so many crashes, Brian, that both sides of the interstate were ultimately closed for some point in time. On Tuesday, six semi trucks with trailers were involved, plus a pickup truck that was hauling a trailer carrying 32 goats also got in a crash here. Now, while the specific cause of the crashes is still being investigated, the lack of visibility is being considered A. A factor in all of this. And unfortunately, we weren't able to show you the brownout, but you literally couldn't see there was so much dust.
Chris Salcedo
Have you.
Terrence Bates
If you've ever been in Arizona, you've probably heard of their dust storms. It looked very similar to one of those Arizona dust storms where you literally cannot see in front of you.
Brian Glenn
Just yesterday, my son goes to Texas Tech. He sent me a picture. He says, dad, this is. We're in a major dust storm. The wind's blowing. And he shot. He sent me some pictures. I'll put it up on.
Tom Simon
On.
Brian Glenn
On X to take a look at it. It is wild. It looks like. Yeah, it's very similar to. If you see like a. A fire in the distance, a brush fire. You see a lot of the orangey type of horizon. It very dark, very gloomy. And obviously we pray for people affected by that, by that, by that accident. But, but, but sources are telling me, Terence, that the goats, they didn't think it was that bad.
Terrence Bates
Nicely played, Brian Glenn, ladies and gentlemen. Tip your waiters and waitresses. He will be here all week. Nicely played, sir.
Brian Glenn
On that note, we'll see you on the other side of For America Sunrise. Thank you.
Terrence Bates
All right, Brad.
Brian Glenn
Thanks. All right, now we turned our attention to Tucson, Arizona, for the very latest in the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie. Developing overnight, no DNA matches from the gloves. Family members have officially been cleared. Thousands of tips, but still no breakthrough. Where does this investigation go from here? Joining us live from Tucson, Kevin Bosovic, our field correspondent for Real America's Voice. Kevin? Well, we now know that some of that DNA is. Is not even in our base, in our database here. What do you take away from that?
Kevin Bosovic
Right? So, I mean, we have no matches in the CODIS FBI database for this. That was in a private lab out of Florida and not Quantico. And what do I make? I mean, so first off, I thought it was a faux leather pair of gloves, you know, thicker whatnot. But it was really a latex composite that is used for, you know, mechanics when. Whenever you're doing work. So it's. It's much more thin and fragile. So I don't know which would impose fingerprints better, but either way, you know, that's a development. The main one, Brian, is that there's no proof of life. We don't know anything about Nancy's whereabouts, how she's doing, and the FBI is offering a hundred thousand dollar reward now. And we've installed parvey from, you know, the last ransom note saying that he'd be willing to offer this ransom note person the money in the first place. And I think that's kind of convoluted because if he knew this whole time he'd be, he'd be guilty. So I don't, I don't know how much he could be getting away with that hundred thousand dollars. But yeah, so.
Brian Glenn
I was just gonna say it's interesting that. And you brought up a great point. We've got no proof that she's still alive. And it's these opposing ransom notes. Typically in some type of kidnapping scenario, they either push out a video or there's some type of statement, some type of proof that this individual is still alive. But now I guess Kevin, we talk about the technology that we have if something was to be sent out and obviously you might be able to track that down. But I think you bring up an excellent point that we have no proof right now that she is still alive.
Kevin Bosovic
Yeah, and Brian, on that I wanted to, I wanted to touch on too the technology here, it's almost too sophisticated. I mean we had a, a pacemaker tracker sniffer thing in a helicopter looking to track Nancy's pacemaker. And I'm saying to myself, how do you differentiate that from different pacemakers? But really, I mean, you know, if you look on a map, we're only about an hour away from Tombstone, Arizona. I'm familiar with that movie, but I mean this is about, this is the land of Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday. You would think that you got some guys manning up here and just getting the job done, but there's so much red tape. And is it the county sheriffs or is it the FBI who's allowed to do what? Or it's very procedural here. And so two other updates. Two other updates here is. Well, because the point is they didn't have that back in the day. Any computers, cell phones, nothing. But they still got the job done. So two updates I can also provide.
Brian Glenn
We've got. I'm just gonna say we've gotta dump out and go into a break. But Kevin, I know that you're gonna hang around for American Sunrise. So we'll have continue updates from Kevin Pasovic there on the ground in Tucson. Kevin, thank you so much for tuning again. Appreciate it.
Kevin Bosovic
You're welcome.

Welcome back. One of my favorite cities, Nashville, Tennessee. Great place to visit. Welcome back America Sunrise. I am Brian Glenn. Joining us now American Sunrise host David Brody. To talk about a couple stories that I know that have been in the cycle is obviously the tragic shooting there in Rhoda island by a father, a hockey dad turning the gun on his son and his ex wife and then eventually on himself. But we find out now this this suspect or this shooter there was evolved in the trans community and it just brought up a question is how many of these mass shootings have we seen recently has been from someone from the trans community? Well in the last year or two it's been a lot more. It just keeps on continuing. And it does seem like a trend, for sure. There's no doubt about that. And look, let's call it for what it is, Brian. It's a mental illness. But here's the thing. You know, the minute we say mental illness, especially as a conservative, everybody thinks we're not compassionate. It's exactly the opposite. It's a mental illness. I'm not here to disparage Robert, who calls himself Roberta. That's not my point. I'm here to say he needs help, and that's the most compassionate thing you can do. So this has been a problem for a while now, and it's got to get under control. And by the way, the media, right on cue, doing no favors. The New York Times basically now saying in their articles about how this person goes by two different names. That's the way they're now spinning it, two different names. I mean, these, these people are really a piece of work. They're doing them no favors. I agree. All right. We'll have more of that and much more on the other side in about five minutes. David, thanks for joining us this morning. You bet. Appreciate it. And as always, thank you for tuning in. We'll be back here tomorrow, 7am Eastern, for another hour of news. Until next time, goodbye. God bless. Be kind to one another.
Tom Simon
We'll see you.
