American Sunrise Early EDITION on Real America's Voice starts now. Good morning. It's 4am in the west, 7am in the east. I am Brian Glenn live from Davos, Switzerland as we continue our coverage here at the World Economic Forum. Welcome to the EARLY edition. I am Brian Glenn. Thanks for joining us. We've got lots of guests coming on the show. A little bit later. We're going to recap. Now yesterday was officially the kickoff of all of this, but today is the first day you're starting to have these kind of long term forums going throughout the day with different themes and we'll get in into that. But today's the day that President Trump actually arrives in Davos and now he's scheduled to speak tomorrow. We'll have that for you. I believe that's 8am Eastern time and then 2pm here, local in Davos, but beautiful shot behind me. Can imagine as the world ascends on Davos, this is the place to do it. Now. We, we had an early morning drive, kind of came across the other side of the mountain, if you will, to get to where we are today. We had a little bit of time with Scott Bessant earlier this morning. We'll throw some a toss of that sound here in a little bit. But let me kind of recap of who was here at this Davao. You've got over 400 top political leaders from around the world. You've got 65 heads of state. Now you can imagine the traffic, the congestion, the roadblocks that are in this area, the one way streets that have been closed down essentially. So traffic in this area is very difficult to get around due to the high security that we do have 65 heads of state. We also have 850 top CEOs and chairman's of the board here in Davos. Now this is a big mixture of business, political government all coming together to lead the policy, which then gets pushed down in respectful countries. And of course, US has been a main player. And we said this yesterday, I see this as almost in a way, President Trump coming to Davos to be a disruptor. And that's kind of what he's done since he entered the political space as being a disruptor. And so he's tipping over the apple cart, if you will, of the old ward, old order and going to the new world order as far as the policies go and putting that on top. Now, who is not here today? Claus Schwab. Mr. Davos, ever since 1971 has been a part of this conference, was not here as well as the Iranian foreign minister who was originally scheduled to be here on site, has canceled since then. So he will not be in attendance. We've got a lot to cover. We're going to get get to our Bible verse first and we'll go into early this morning we had a few minutes with Secretary Treasury Scott Bess and we'll get into that right now. But we'll begin with this. We turn our morning over to God's word. This morning's verse comes from Psalm 62, 8, the new international version. It says this trust in him at all times, you people, pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. What a great Bible verse. To start on today, Turning back our live coverage here at the World Economic Forum earlier today, we were at what is called the USA House and it's a terrific place that they had leaders in the conference and leaders in different aspects of government. We'll throw that here in just a second. I want to bring in my colleague, my Rav colleague, Javier Negra, host of Right side News. Javier is one of the most influential Hispanic journalists that are in the business providing global freedom movement. Javier, welcome. You, you made it to Davos and you and I are just on the probably across town from one another right now.
B
How are you, Brian?
D
Just playing very well. What is Davos? It's a tiny town with difficult roads, with difficult logistics. But we made it. We are in Davos in the US House with a lot of fields with a lot of people coming on a lot of events, a lot of companies coming to the US House that are interested in investing more money because of Trump administration. They are really happy with Trump. And we, we have Asian companies, we have European companies, world banks that they want to meet like people like Cary Rogers, the undersecretary in the Department of State. She's talking right now with David Sachs about freedom of speech, about the visa ban that she put under the people who tried to cut the freedom of speech in United Kingdom. It's really interesting to be in the US House and to feel how America is being great again, because last year friends that are in Davos right now, they told me, hey, last year we didn't find the US House or the Biden people And now a lot of people from the US Government is working, attracting companies, attracting investment. We are here with a special envoy for global strategies business like Paolo Sampoli. Sarah Royers is doing a great job having public diplomacy with people like the Bahrain government, Uzbekistan governments, countries that are really interested in investing and having good relationship with the best country in the world right now, the country of freedom. And Trump is supposed to be like tomorrow to have a big conference and he's going to have a meeting with the Prime Minister of Granite, Zelensky and with other head of state, maybe with the president of Egypt. Also have read according to my sources and he had a lot of CEOs from all over the world, especially from Asia, they want to have private meetings with, with him. And you have to know like the Davos is the place with right now with the more lobbyists in the world right now. And some of them try to scam people to tell them, hey, I'm going to connect you with Trump, you're going to have a photo with Trump. And Trump doesn't like that kind of things. They love his thing. So it's really is really good to know. If people want to know the American investments, the new rules, the new order that Trump wants to dominate the world, they have to come to the US House because in the event you have AI events, you have minority, you have energy, you have a lot of themes, a lot of topics and a lot of tables with a good expertise from the US Government and with US Companies. It's really interesting to be in the middle of the US House. I'm very happy to be with your house audience. And we have a good news. Scott Besson, he made a fantastic conference yesterday in Jewish House and he's going to be in the war room with Steve Bannon this afternoon.
A
Yeah, just earlier this morning we caught up with Scott Best. I don't know if we have that video queued up. I asked him to get his comments on how hot this country was because all the investments that are flowing into our country, the infrastructure, a lot of companies, you know, kind of reinvesting in operations here. I asked him about, about the hottest economy and I followed up with what's the latest on Jerome Powell and the Fed chair? Take a listen.
E
Good. Well, as I've often said, the Trump economic plan is a three legged school stool. It is trade, tax and deregulation trade. We have signed historic trade deals and we are bringing in the hundreds of millions of dollars of tariff revenue. But more importantly than that on the other side and I think goes unnoticed and it should be highlighted is as we do these trade deals, not only is the US taking in revenue, we have pushed down the tariffs mostly to zero with other countries and we've taken down non tariff trade barriers. That's why you saw a dramatic jump in exports in the US in the third quarter. On tax, we got the one big beautiful bill done on July 4th which no one said could be done. And in that we have full expensing permanent which gives business great certainty for equipment, we have full expensing for factories and ag structures. So we are seeing a capex boom. The capex is up 12%. In the history of economic cycles, capex booms always lead to employment booms. And then thirdly, and the silent part that is really taking hold now is the President's deregulatory agenda. For too long we have overregulated. We are in Europe, the center of the great regulatory morass. The Draghi report came out and said that Europe needs to deregulate. President Trump has taken the initiative and deregulated whether it's what the treasury does in financial markets. We are safely and soundly deregulating the banking and financial system. According to Oliver Wyman, we may have added 2.5 trillion in lending capacity which will help finance our AI boom and energy. We are making it possible to drill in the US again and excuse me, in every other industry we are cutting back regulation and that is leading to great certainty for businesses. We have in the US we have tax certainty, regulatory certainty and energy certainty, which makes the US the best place in the world to come and invest. We have four fantastic candidates. It will be up to the President and I would imagine that he will have an announcement maybe as early as next week.
A
Brian and Javier, when you take a look at the investments that have come into this country and I was there in the Rose Garden on repudiate, you know, Liberation Day I should say on April 2nd. Phenomenal. And the media doubted it. They thought this whole tariff idea was horrible. And I was in the briefing rooms, I was at the White House every day in Javier, the media, the foreign media in particularly did not like this idea of tariffs.
D
Brian, you are right. The legacy media are hiding what Trump is having like expecting a lot of money, a lot of investment. Yesterday I had a dinner with the Bahrain Kingdom with ministers and you have to hear like all the ministers. Bahrain Kingdom wants to invest more money in United States. And if you talk with other delegation, everybody wants to know Donald Trump, everybody wants to have meeting with the US Delegation now is the country in the world. Trump is going to talk about the tariffs. He's going to talk about Greenland. I have a good news to give you, Brian. You know who is Alex Soros.
A
Of course.
D
So Alex Soros, I found him very close to the US House and I made him the uncomfortable questions that we have to make it for real America's Voice. And we are going to put the video in real America's Voice in exclusive because he's the guy with his father, George Soros who is promoting the legacy media attacking Trump, promoting the illegal alliance into the United States, promoting the fake news against Trump administration, against Susie Wilde, against you. He's the guy who is buying a lot of media outlets in Florida to promote Democrats and me in the right news show every Sunday, 8pm Miami Eastern Time. You can check how we tell the Hispanic community like the good news about ICE operation and without misinformation because in the Hispanic media outlets that George Soros and Alex Soros are controlling with Democrats, with globalists and with all the woke agenda, they're telling lies to the Hispanic community. And we lost Miami city, we lost New York. And this guy, we made him the question and we asked him why he's promoting the socialism and the woke agenda in the street. And the video is going to be viral because he felt very uncomfortable and he tried his team to attack me and to be like a censorship we have to fight. And real America's Voice is the best place to put this video for the first time.
A
I agree. I agree. Javier, we certainly appreciate your time this morning. I'm sure I'll see you across town here in the next couple hours. Thank you so much.
D
And Brian, you have to know how much money people pay here, like $40,000 to be in downtown Davos just for three nights. People paid for apartment, two bedrooms, $40,000. So it's crazy. I prefer your landscape right now.
A
And they also, and they also want to know your carbon footprint when you land into this city as well. Thank you, Javier. We'll return. We'll continue our live coverage on the ground here in Davos for the World Economic Forum. Few minutes, we will come right back. Stick around. Wow.
A
Imagine driving the roads there that was coming from Zurich to Orochimaru. Melissa, we are now In Davos. That's just on the other side of the mountain. But two and a half hours later, 360 plus turns, some switchbacks. That is what is is the Swiss Alps. Thank you so much for joining us on this very special edition live from Davos, Switzerland, covering the World Economic Forum. Okay. From the Swiss Alps to the Rockies, I want to bring in my brother from another mother, Terrence Bass, to talk about some of the headlines that are making news. You know, outside of Davos, there is the other side of the world that is making headlines. And a lot of times, as of lately, they have not been very good ones. Terrence?
F
Yeah, I mean, there's a lot of news. But really, really quickly, Brian, before I get to this, I saw the video of you on the autobahn or the highway there. Is there no speed limit?
A
No, there is a speed limit. And actually the rental car we have comes with. It comes with a computer chip that I noticed in the USB port. So it's recording my speed and my driving habits. So when I turn this rental car in here on Thursday morning, I may be paying maybe $10,000 for a driving fine, according to the amount of beeps that the car has to remind me that I might be going over the speed limit. I'm joking half the time because I look coming over this mountain, this. It was nice and early. I took it really slow and easy on these winding curves.
F
Yeah, I bet. All right, so let's do get to some of the big headlines. First up, we want to talk about college football's national championship game. Brian, I'm not so sure you were able to catch it over there, but it was a thriller, the ultimate Cinderella T Cinderella story as Indiana wins its first college national football title in that university's history. A lot of Indiana fans super happy this Trump, of course, was in attendance there. He was front and center for it all. It was kind of his last big hurrah, Brian, before he heads over to where you are now in Davos. You can see him here at another game as well. I call President Trump Brian, the sports fan in chief, because he really is one of those presidents who goes to all the big games. And it's obviously a big thrill for him. Also a big thrill for many of the fans who come knowing that they're in the same stadium as the President of the United States.
A
I agree. I asked President Trump one day about his love of sports, and he told me that it's. He's always been a competitor in business or in. In sports, what he played as a kid. So it's, it's very much in his blood. And by the way, when we got in the car to drive to Davos this morning, the game was still going on. It was in the fourth quarter late. So by the, you know, refreshing the Internet with the time change, it was still going on. So we, we finally learned that Indiana won that championship. As close we got closer to the ground.
F
Yeah. So you mentioned that Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant spoke just a little while ago there in Davos. President Trump, of course, will be there to speak tomorrow. We'll be carrying all of that live for you. But what is the sense that you're getting there, the atmosphere and anticipation, if you will, for President Trump to show up overnight? President Trump actually posted on True Social several text messages that he'd received from various leaders, including Emmanuel Macron of France, and also kind of calling the United Kingdom to task. The issue of Greenland is going to be one that he very likely is going to be talking about, even when he meets on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum there in Davos. In fact, NATO's chief says that he plans to talk with President Trump. So this is going to be a full meeting and a full couple of days that the President is going to be spending there in Davos. No rest for the weirdest weary.
A
No rest for the weary. And you're right, it's a lot. Greenland is almost the top story here. The top story is the dominance that the US has had, the resurgent, the hottest country in the world. That is the top story. But I would say the second story is Greenland. And what is the situation of that? What does it look like? I mean, how long does this play out? We've talked about this. The people of Greenland, what's their thoughts on this as well? And then I would say third would be the conflict with Ukraine and Russia. I know he's meeting with Zelensky. What does that look like? What happens with that? Because we've been covering this ever since the administration, how he wanted to end this war. That was one of his campaign promises. And come to find out, it's a little bit more difficult, I think, than he originally thought.
F
Yeah, absolutely. It's going to be interesting to see how all of this ultimately plays out. And Brian, of course, we will continue to be checking in with you throughout the day and continuing to cover the goings and comings. You see what I did there, goings and comings, as President Trump will be coming there to Davos in short order.
A
You see what I did.
F
But we'll be covering all of that throughout the day. Brian, always good to see you, my friend.
A
Thank you, Terrence. I appreciate it. And we will continue with our live coverage from Davos coming up after the break. Stick around. This very special edition of American Sunrise, early edition. We'll see you after break. All right. Good morning. Welcome back. American Sunrise. I do not ski. I do snowboard. But if I had my board right now, I'm not sure I would hit any one of those slopes you're looking at right now that's a little too, a little too black for me, a little too hard. I'm looking for the green kitty slopes. Look how cold it looks up there. Welcome back. We are live from the World Economic Forum here in Davos as it officially kicks off, I guess you could say today with some of the live forums going on right now, talking about AI, climate change, economic prosperity across the world, 65 world leaders all in town, 400 plus political leaders in town as well, to take on the discussion of all of these topics, which we end up seeing somehow in legislation either in our country or from around the world. But what makes this economic forum a little different is I think Trump is not here for a goodwill visit. He is not here to shake hands and kiss babies and meet with business leaders. I don't think that's why he's here. He's not here to get anyone's approval of anything. I think he's going to push the America first agenda. He's going to continue to put the Americans first, American interests first. And I think that is a fresh change of what has happened here in the last over a year. If you take a look under the BIDEN Administration, the U.S. economy is just put on hold. We know exactly what happened. We had double digit inflation. And you know, a lot of times I'm in the press briefing room and I hear these, these clown questions from legacy media about inflation, about affordability. And I think affordability is in a way a hoax because now it's based upon what the Biden agenda did to the US Economy and to the US Consumer as far as not only having double digit inflation across the board on every product or service. So we've had to bring that down. That's exactly what the Trump agenda has done. It has brought inflation down to where it's almost seems like a normal, what, 2.7%, a normal rate that really does help the economy go. And of course, the free trade is over. The Liberation day was so big in terms of getting these tariffs in place in terms of getting what was ours. We've been getting ripped off for years by all of these countries. I think all President Trump tried to do was to bring back and make it fair and bring money back to America and this capital that has been redirected to US Workers, industry, infrastructure, pushed back on the climate agenda. Think about that for a second. You know, these meetings here, and I've got the schedule and there are several forms on climate change and the effect of climate change across the world in terms of people being able to live their lives from a healthy standpoint and also what climate change does to their local economy and the, and the, in the suffering as how they describe it to having someone able to earn a living. Now growth in energy over limits, mandates higher costs and also energy equals power. When you take a look at the US Energy policy driven by strength and growth, not global targets. You know, one of the campaign things that President Trump often said was drill baby, drill and open up the oil exports, open up the leases that were put on hold during the Biden administration. One of the funniest stories that I, that I heard was when Speaker Mike Johnson had questioned Joe Biden about suspending some, some leases, some, some drilling and offshore oil leases and he had paused them. And when he was pressed on this issue he said I didn't do that. And Speaker Johnson said, Mr. President, I can pull up the very paperwork that proves that you did this. That is how incapable President Biden was with simply putting America interest first when it comes with, to our energy. So we're back energy wise. We've, we've, we'll talk about the abundance of energy that we need for all of these data centers that need to be built to support the AI infrastructure and the AI growth that we have in this country. So it's very important that we have put US energy first and put that in the forefront. And then we take a look at the immigration that's happened. You know, the wide open border. President Trump backed off all the policies, closed the border physically and with the policies and really made it a point where don't even come here, we're going to basically deport you. And over I think a three month time, four month time, you had zero border crossings, which means zero people actually crossed in and got into the country. They might have crossed over, but they were brought back the way they should be. So you know, immigration has been tackling that which was, was widely out of control. And if you take a look at what it's done to our economy, I think it killed some of our housing growth because now we have millions of Americans or immigrants, I should say, illegals coming into our country. And we know the story in Somalia as far as the benefits go on that. So it's just been a really. He's got a. He's faced and solved a lot of problems in this very short amount of time. Then you take a look at the. Some of the domestic issues that we're dealing with with the National Guard being deployed around some of the most dangerous cities or someone who, who lives part time for the most part in Washington, D.C. during the week. I know exactly what crime on the streets look like. I was robbed by gunpoint in Washington, D.C. that was before President Trump ordered the National Guard to come in and see what he's done to, to D.C. to Chicago, to Memphis and other cities across the country doing this. Now, I. All eyes now are on Michigan and the chaos. That's. I'm sorry, Minnesota. And the chaos has taken place there due to a lot of the uprising and of course, the ICE incident with Renee Goode that sparked a lot of controversy as well. On your screen, though, this. This is an incident that I really can't believe we actually watched play out. Now the DOJ is gonna get involved. Don Lemon and a. Basically a gang of clowns thought that would be a wise decision to go into a church service and disrupt the service in the name of protesting ice. Now, I am all for peaceful protests. I am all for anyone going outside any public building, any space and letting their voice be heard. I think that's what makes America so great. But to go into a place of worship, now that is something entirely different. And if you listen to the, to the interview that Don Lemon had with the preacher. Preacher, you will find out that that preacher was being as respectful as you can be and said, look, I support your First Amendment, but you don't have to come into a house of worship. Now the DOJ is getting involved in this. There might be some charges. I don't know the very latest on that, but something needs to happen because I don't. I cannot recall an incident where someone from the right, a conservative, would barge into a house of worship and disrupted. I think it's absolutely disgusting. And I think those involved in that should be charged with something. Don't know exactly what that charge looks like right now, but those images on your screen, the video tells it all. All right, before we go to break, a quick word from one of our sponsors. And I love these guys. We've got plenty more coming up after the break. Stick around. Welcome to American Sunrise EARLY Edition, the show where faith, freedom and the values that built this nation take center stage. All right. Welcome back. American Sunrise EARLY edition. I am Brian Glenn, live from Davos, Switzerland. Now, it's kind of interesting because we went out to dinner last night and of course, a lot of things, they're not in English, so you have to kind of like point. If they have pictures, you can point, you're good. But if not, you have to try it and hope that your server speaks English. And of course, in this case, they did. But we started talking about the Swiss franc and really how strong it is right now versus the dollar. Now, if you go a year ago, The Swiss franc, 1.$09 would get you a Swiss franc one. Now it takes you 1.$25 to get one Swiss franc. So the dollar really has, over the last year lost a lot of value here in this country. But the economy seems to be strong. Driving around yesterday and this morning, a lot of people out. You can see people finally getting into town. A lot of planes, a lot of, a lot of flights. We've heard a lot of helicopters, probably delivering people from, you know, to the local address, if not here, the regional airport here in this area. So a lot of activity as we are officially, this is the first full day of some of these forms that are going on right now. And a lot of a lot of it has to do and I was kind of scrolling through there, a lot has to do with investment in people as well, which I think is very interesting because if you look at the, the innovation of AI, it's been kind of pitched at, it would essentially eliminate jobs and people that maybe were taught to code 10 years ago may be out of a job now due to the launch of artificial intelligence and all the capabilities on that. And even when you look at what it looks like in the quick service restaurant industry, I remember the first time going to a Panera Bread and having a remote kiosk where you had to step up, order your soup and salad and your sandwich and your drink and all that stuff. You didn't talk to anybody. And at the time, I didn't think that would ever gravitate to any type of normalcy in our, in our economy. And it seems to be the norm now where we're using a lot of automatic systems. So AI certainly, and that is a part of AI certainly is in the forefront of the economy here. Okay, so last night was the national championship game down in Miami where you had the Indiana Hoosiers taking on the Miami Hurricanes. And you know, you've got the Indiana, which is kind of a Cinderella store, if you will. I mean, they went undefeated and they historically had a very rough football team. Now, historically had done pretty well in basketball. But then great game last night, Cinderella story, I guess. They get to ride off in the sunset. And President Trump is a sports fan, so whenever he goes to a game, he's generally in a good mood. So when he was at pbi, ready to get on Air Force One to go back to D.C. sometimes, he's in a great mood to talk to reporters. And last night, that's exactly what he did. Take a listen.
B
So we saw a great game tonight. Congratulations to Indiana. It was really turned out to be a great game, Two great teams, wonderful teams with a lot of talent. We enjoyed it very much. Our country is doing very well. We have many, many buildings opening, factories opening. We've never had anything like it. And I think you're going to see results very soon. You're already really seeing them. But we have more money being invested on our country than any country in history. As you know, the Secretary of the Interior, Doug Burgum, who's with me right now, has a lot to report. I don't know if you want to say a couple of words, Doug, but you might want to say how well we're doing as a country. Well, with President Trump's leadership, we got inflation coming down. We've got investment going up, up. We've got taxes going down, we've got energy prices down there. Everything is aligned for us to have a banner year in 2026. And the, the interest in building and investing in our country has never been greater. There's never been anything like it. The money being invested in our country is unparalleled. There's never been anything even close by, by many times for than China or any other country. Do you have any questions? Well, I think I have a lot of messages for Davos, but the primary message is how well the United States is doing. And I say it all the time. A year and a half ago we were a dead country and now we have the hottest country in the world. I mean you're beneficiaries too. If you look, some of you have 401ks, you don't have to tell me. Your numbers are the best they've ever been and the stock market's at an all time high. It's, we are just doing great. So I think the message at Davos, we're leaving going to have an interesting time. We have a lot of meetings scheduled. But the message for Davos is how incredible our country is doing.
A
Can you speak to your ladder, the.
B
Europe, private and certain saying that the Nobel Prize has influenced your thinking on Freeland? No, I don't care about the Nobel Prize. First of all, a very fine woman felt that I deserved it and really wanted me to have the Nobel Prize. And I appreciate that. If anybody thinks that Norway doesn't, doesn't control the Nobel Prize, they're just kidding. They have a warrant. But it's controlled by Norway. And I don't care what Norway says, but I really don't care about that. What I care about is saving lives. And I think I've saved tens of millions of lives. If you look at India, Pakistan, just as 12 nuclear powers, you look at so many of the countries that were in a 30, in some cases a 35 year war and I got it done. We stopped eight wars and maybe we'll be stopping at night very soon. We'll see. What do you plan to say to European leaders of Dalvo when they push back on your Greenland plan? Well, I don't think they're going to push back too much. Look, we have to have it. They have to have this done. They can't protect it. Denmark, they're wonderful people and I know the leaders are very good people, but they don't even go there. And you know, because the boat went there 500 years ago and then left, left. That doesn't give you title to property. So we'll be talking about it with the various people. We've had tremendous success and we've, you know, I've done more for NATO than anybody else. I don't think you'd have NATO right now. I got him to go 5% and pay as opposed to 2% and not pay. I've done more than any other American president potato by far. And we'll see how that goes. But Greenland is very important. Have you invited President Putin to be a member of the Board of Peace? Yeah, he's been invited. Give me response to President Macron saying he will not join the Board of Peace. Oh, did he say that? Well, nobody wants it because he's going to be out of office very soon. So, you know, that's all right. What I'll do is if they feel like Costa, I'll put a 200% tariff on his wines and champagnes and he'll join. But he doesn't have to join. If he said that, you're probably giving it to me a little bit differently. But if he actually did say that. But as you know, he's going to be out of office in a few months. Did you invite President Putin to join the. Yes. He's one of the people. These are world leaders. And the answer is yes. You think the president argue about the first year of your second term. Amazing. Tomorrow is the first year. Think of it. One year. I don't think there's been a term like it. I don't think any president has had a better first year than we've had in terms of success. Again, we've taken our country from a failure with open borders, no business, everything going badly. Terrific inflation, the highest inflation in history. History. Prices that are through the roof and we brought prices down. We have very little inflation. We have a great economy and the prices are coming down still further. But I inherited a mess and now we have the hottest country anywhere in the world.
A
Do you think that you had any influence on the Giants signing a deal with Coach Harbaugh? How do you think they'll do in New York?
B
I don't know, but they got a great coach. I like the coach. I like his brother. They came up to see me with about three months ago, they came up to see me in the White House. Did you know that?
A
Yes, I did.
B
With the mother and father. Because the mother likes me and the father likes me and I think they like me. And he's a great coach and he's going to do well with the Giants just like his brother does. So well they are. They got something very special in their blood. And I'm happy for the Giants. They got a great coach. It's nice that you ask. I did put out a. I put out a strong word. Hire Coach Harbo, the Fed. Will you make a decision for now? Yeah. I know who I want in the Fed. When will you make a decision? I'll be, I'll announce it sometime. But I know, I know who I want. You said securing the Arctics of Russian threats is important to you. Why are you upset about NATO allies thinking that, you know, more seriously Greenland by holding military exercises? Well, that wasn't a military. They sent a few people and they say they sent them not for me, but to guard against Russia. But you know, NATO has been warning denmark for about 20 years now, longer than that, 25 years they've been warning Denmark about the Russian threat. And it's not only Russia, it's also China. So we'll see what happens. But let's put it this way, it's going to be a very interesting Davos. Goodbye everybody. Have a good flight. Thank you.

You know, it is amazing that we are now sitting on the one year anniversary of the inauguration of the 47th President Donald J. Trump. And I think we all kind of know where we were on that day. If you remember, the ceremonies got moved inside the Capital One arena there in Washington due to the extremely cold temperatures that were forecasted for really that ent week. And so inside baseball here, we were originally going to be on that inauguration float going down Pennsylvania Avenue with the camera crew and myself to give you kind of a bird's eye view on what that would look like. And I think back and wished that would have been a great moment and the, the images of that would have been incredible. But we did have that private inauguration in there at the Capitol with the members and spouses were in there to witness that. And then later on the motorcade went over to the Capital One arena and what a, what a tremendous two to three hour show. A program that really was. We got to see everyone from the whole entire Trump family to Elon Musk, Baron Trump and others. Kid Rock kicked it off. Musical entertainment that was just a great time. And I just reflect back on where we were a year ago today. Now we're in Davos for the World economic forum of 2026. That was not on my bingo card this year. Now let's turn our attention quick from a word from one of our proud sponsors, My Patriot Supply. Now we're only a few weeks away in winter basically and already brutally cold here. Huge snowstorms and power outages of course will happen. Now think about this for a second. If the power goes out and it's really cold, do you have a way to keep yourself and your family warm? There is. That's a real problem. Winter powder allergies can even be life threatening. Like in Texas a few years ago, I was there when everything froze. It was horrible. That's why so many Americans are getting a Vesta off grid heater from my Patriot Supply. It's a space heater that doesn't use electricity or propane. It runs on something called canned heat, which is an indoor safe fuel. With a Vesta slashed in your closet, you now know that you can keep warm no matter what and even if it doubles as your stove to cook your food, which is actually pretty cool as well. The best part is right now you can get a Vesta and a bunch more preparedness gear as free gifts. When you order the winter survival kit from my Patriot Supply, just go to the website, my patriotsupply.com real easy/ rev to include that. Get that offer. So your offer goes a long way. So use my Patriotsupply.com RAV today. That's my Patriotsupply.com RAW information is on your screen. Look, if you didn't think, if you did not get the gift you wanted for Christmas, just there you go. Go ahead and click put in your cart and buy it. All right. Still ahead, we've got more coverage right here from Switzerland, Davos World Economic Forum 2026. That's coming up after the break. Stick around. All right. Welcome back. American Sunrise, EARLY edition. I am Brian Glenn live from Davos, Switzerland. Now, I made it perfectly clear earlier that if I had my snowboard, I am not attempting to go on any slope there and one of those behind me. But my next guest may grab his sticks right now and hit the slope. David Brody joins me from Washington, D.C. to talk about his ability to ski here in Davos. Welcome.
C
Well, thank you. Thank you, Brian. Yes. And I would like to talk about that. It'd be a very short story, put it this way, the bunny slope, what is it called? The bunny hill. The bunny slope, whatever. Yeah, I can barely get down that. But I try. I'm going with greens. That's about it, Brian. No double black diamond for me, sir?
A
Yeah, I'm going with no double black diamonds. Okay. So there's a lot in the news. Real quickly, give me just your quick anticipation of what you might hear from President Trump tomorrow about this time tomorrow, actually tomorrow morning here at Davos.
C
Yeah, I think we're going to hear a lot of peace in the world and how America is a force for goodness in the world and all of that type of thing. Now, it's not Bush stuff. It's not George W. Bush. Bush where we wanna therefore put and impose all of our values on other countries and we don't wanna nation Bill. It's none of that stuff but it is a version, I think of what he's gonna try to do is talk about America first, but from a standpoint of kind of a worldly America first. What that means specifically I've called it America first imperialism. I know a lot of people don't like to think of that word imperialism. It has negative connotations. But I'm not talking about colonialism, right. I mean he doesn't want to go over to every country and start taking it over like that specifically. But he does want to have an imprint around the world, an expansive imprint with American priorities at stake. So I'm going to be, it's going to be interesting to see how he fuses the two together in the speech. Brian?
A
Yeah, no, you're absolutely right. He is going to talk, I think about the economy in the US being the hottest nation in the world, that he inherited a dying country and basically kick started it with his policies and the trade and basically make putting America's first and on the world stage. And earlier today I was at a kind of a quick press event with Scott Bessant and, and it's interesting because most of the people in that room, David, were foreign press and you could just see that they were just waiting to attack the secretary in regards to, you know, what we're doing on the economy and that perhaps Americans aren't really buying this stuff, that we're the hottest nation. But it's nice to see how lower he's gotten. He's lowered the inflation, no doubt. He's made it life better in the U.S. no doubt.
C
And here's the thing, I know a lot of people are going to talk about the World Economic Forum and the agenda and all that stuff and that's fine. But really I think this is turning into a summit about Greenland if you think about it. I mean I really think that that's what this is going to be about on the sidelines. We know he's already going to take conversations and meetings about that. So to me that's the most interesting part of this. And I'll be brief here, but you know, President Trump sees the Greenland situation as kind of like a contract. He's like, hey Denmark, where's your contract? Exactly. You know, he's a real estate guy. I don't see a contract that you have Denmark. And Denmark's like yeah, we've had it since the 1700s.
B
Look it up.
C
So the question is, you know, what's the difference? We'll kind of figure it out as we move forward.
A
All right, Dave, everybody. Everyone looks forward to you and Dr. Gina and T. Bates on the big show. Thanks so much for joining us. And thank you for joining us once again on American Sunrise, early edition live from Davos. Guess what? We'll be back here tomorrow. Stick around. Have a great day. God bless.
