American SUNRISE EARLY EDITION on REAL America's VOICE starts now.
Brian Glenn
All right. Good morning. We are live here in Hebron, Kentucky awaiting President Trump a little bit later today making a stop here in the Tri state area. We'll have complete coverage on the ground. But first is how you can start your day with us. Look at the bottom of your screen right now. There's a QR code that is your ticket to joining the weather Nation family. You can scan it, download it, get connected. Even better, get your hometown forecast. It could be next. So head on over to Real America's voice chats on Getter Rumble, YouTube and in the 9 00am hour, you could be picked if you're selected to get your hometown forecast live. So jump on and have the fun this morning and join our Weather Nation family. And joining us now to talk about a lot of weather, especially Tracy in this part of the country, Cincinnati, Kentucky, this whole tri state area. We've got, we've got a front coming through here.
Tracy (Meteorologist)
Yeah. You know, a tornado watch actually for your area. So very important to stay weather aware. I'll definitely keep you updated. But some strong storms going to be rolling across parts of Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio throughout the morning. And this is all associated with the same system that brought this tornado to Kankakee, Illinois. You can see this footage from yesterday. So this was a very powerful tornado and we're expecting the threat for powerful tornadoes once again in through the morning hours. Now we also had a good size hail. There's lots of damage and we've had storm reports from the Great Lakes all the way down to Texas. You can see here this hail, four and a half inches in diameter. So very large hail and even six inch hail being reported in Illinois. So this is spanning a good majority of the Central Plains and it's just continuing to push east as we will see these storms spread into the Ohio Valley here for, for mid to late morning hours. So you can see here, this is from that tornado in Kankakee, Illinois. Damage, a lot of damage. So National Weather Service will go survey that damage and put a rating on these tornadoes. There was 10 tornadoes reported throughout the day yesterday. And like I said, we had those severe weather reports that stretched from the Great Lakes all the way down through South Texas. Numerous tornadoes reported, reported as well. So once again we have the heat and humidity that is in place and that's going to continue to fuel that threat for some strong storms. So for this afternoon all the way from areas of New York, Buffalo, New York down to the Gulf Coast. So millions under the gun for more strong storms throughout the day today. Similar threats with tornadoes also being one of the big concerns. Now we do have some fire danger on the backside of the system. Wind's going to be gusting up to 60, 70 miles per hour. That threat, fire threat will increase for Thursday. And then out west it's blizzard warnings that are in place for the Cascades and parts of the Northern Rockies. So that's where we're still dealing with the winter weather. But look at this. 80s across the southeast. Atlanta, 82 degrees, it's warm, it's humid and that's what's fueling those storms. But a big cool down is working through on the backside. So we're seeing this contrast in air masses and that's oftentimes what we get in the spring. So we will have a handful of records that will potentially be broke this afternoon just on the record scale for how warm we're going to be. This is the last day of record potential out across the East Coast. But as we get into the late end of the week and the weekend, we're going to take you out to the Southwest. This is where we could be breaking records. And I am talking crushing records. Areas like LA going to get close to triple digits. It's one of those things that we even had to double check and make sure that our data was coming incorrectly because it just seems so extreme. But that heat will stick around through Saturday and we could even be breaking records through next Tuesday. So that's going to be kind of the big story as things kind of flop out across the West Coast. Look at that LA as we get into the end of the work week, close to triple digits. So we've got a lot going on, Brian. You know, it's the snow, the blizzard conditions, it's the severe weather. But the severe weather is definitely the big stuff story and the most imminent here this morning.
Brian Glenn
Yeah, when you look at the timeline, what today, 8 o' clock is when the rain's supposed to move in this area and President Trump lands at around 140 here locally. And at that time we will have a really increased chance of thunderstorms and high winds. I mean, Tracy, winds up to 45 miles an hour scheduled in this area. So it's going to be a blustery day. Tracy, thank you so much. And of course, tune into her in the 9 o' clock hour and you will deliver a hometown forecast. So thanks for joining us.
Tracy (Meteorologist)
I got on the getter feed too. So drop that hometown.
Brian Glenn
Yeah, don't forget about that gutter feed. That's right, don't forget that getter feed. Thank you. I appreciate it. All right, now to our top story, of course, we're live here in Hebron, Kentucky, where President Trump is expected to be here later today putting a national spotlight on one of the most watched Republican primary races in the country. Now, Trump backing a primary challenger, Ed Gallerin. He looks to unseat seven term Congressman Thomas Massie. Joining us now to talk about what this means for Kentucky and for the party, State Representative T.J. roberts, a Republican from here in the state of Kentucky Representative, thank you so much for joining us this morning with the, with the big question is what does the President's visit mean in particularly to this race? Now, I spent some time last night down in the city talking to people at a local restaurant. There's a lot of Massey support in this area. I think he being a seven time congressional representative from this area, name recognition is, is he's got it. I mean, he's got it. He's a comeback. You know how hard that is to beat. But what does it mean that he's here today, here in Kentucky?
Brandon Weickert
Yeah.
TJ Roberts
Brian, thank you for having me on. I think that President Trump's presence in Kentucky isn't just about this race. It's also about the fact that Northern Kentucky is a hub for President Trump's priorities, particularly the rollout of Trump Rx being up in Cincinnati for the pharmaceutical area of it. But also in Northern Kentucky in my district is the facilities that service the Cincinnati International Airport. And that's one of the areas that he is specifically visiting. That's where the part of the rally is. But that said, you look to Northern Kentucky, it is a hub of conservatism. I'm one of the most conservative legislators in Kentucky and what I can say about the people of the 66th House District, where he is, is that there is a love for both Donald Trump and Thomas Massie because this party understands that, that people don't align on everything. But if your mission is protecting America, they're going to support you. And that's the same allure that both of these individuals have in Kentucky is that they're able to focus on those fundamental principles to put this nation first. So I appreciate President Trump coming into this area in order to say Northern Kentucky is the future. If you want to see a model that works, look to Northern Kentucky.
Brian Glenn
Yeah. And of course he the Trump RX at the first stop there in Cincinnati. And I think it's a reversed logistical facility here where we're at and that is a big center for that does consumer goods, things like that. So the economy is on the main focus right now. As a lot of the last, you know, two weeks or so, the attention has been on the war in the Middle East. And so we needs to, during this midterm, going into the midterms, rather focus on the economy. And of course, the economy in this part of the country is strong.
TJ Roberts
Absolutely. It is stronger than ever. We are looking at making Kentucky a more competitive place to do business. And the good news is President Trump is putting that authority into our hands, whether that be education, freedom, significant federal tax cuts in order to make sure that Americans are keeping more of what they earn, or just that basic ability to get better jobs and bringing manufacturing back into Kentucky. And that's one of those things that I really appreciate about the Trump RX program of making sure that the manufacturing of these pharmaceuticals are right here in America. So that way we know that we have an adequate supply chain. And that's one of those issues that I think every single person can get behind, of realizing that putting America first also involves ensuring that our domestic economy is in great shape. Because if you, you don't have the ability to own a home, to raise your family in, then what else is going on in the world really comes second to that. And the president's focus on ensuring that the average American is in a better position than they were the year before and the year before that is one of those top priorities that we all need to get behind.
Brian Glenn
Yeah. Now, do you think this stop here in support of this primary challenger will sway voters from historically supporting Massie? Would there be compelling reasons, and what do you think those reasons would be that President Trump could lay out to sway these voters to go a different direction in the midterms?
TJ Roberts
Yeah. So Northern Kentucky, particularly Boone county, is one of those homes to the old school Tea Party having a skepticism of, of growing national debt, having a skepticism of the, of federal encroachments. And that has been a consistent issue. And I understand that President Trump and Congressman Massie have had their disagreements. And the way that I've put it is that I don't pick sides whenever two of my favorite people are fighting. And in many ways, that's what's happening here. So I'm continuing to support both. And largely, that's where Northern Kentucky is. Realistically speaking, what you will see, in my view in the primary is you're going to end up seeing a whole lot of common support where the Venn diagram between support for President Trump and support for Congressman Massie, it's largely going to be a circ. Now, now, there's some people where that's not the case, where some people are going to pick a side one over the other. But that said, I think that the overwhelming majority of at least Northern Kentucky, they're going to stick with the idea of, hey, it looks like mom and dad are going to get a divorce, but we're going to continue to support both mom and dad.
Brian Glenn
Yeah. Representative Roberts, thank you so much for joining us this morning. If someone wants to follow you on social media. What are your handles there?

Kristen Davis
I saw Alanis Morissette there one time. It was so exciting. I was with my girlfriend Melanie.
David Brody
She saw you, so that's like good.
Kristen Davis
She was very. It was like the height of Alanis time and she was with this beautiful man and I had a golden retriever puppy and the beautiful man wanted to say hi to the golden retriever puppy. We were eating at that little cafe there at the Santa Monica one and Alanis hung back in a way that made me wonder what was happening. Like, who wouldn't want to pet this beautiful puppy. I was like, oh my, it's Alanis. And then I was like, try to breathe, try to breathe, try to breathe because I love her so much. We have those storms coming through this area. I'm in Hebron, a little distance from that, but nevertheless, that system is coming this way. Welcome back America Sunrise. I am Brian Glenn. Good to have you with us this morning. We're tracking the White House, we're tracking the markets and the latest in the Middle East. You can join the conversation down on Getter, YouTube and Rumble. Now let's check in with Wall street as we head into the opening bell this morning. Markets under pressure On Tuesday, The Dow down 403 points, closing at 48, 501 after falling more than 1200 point earlier in the session. The Nasdaq off 232 points, finishing at 22, 516. That's pairing losses after sharper intraday drop. Meanwhile, the energy markets which we're all paying attention to this morning. Oil plunging Tuesday. U.S. crude selling at $83 down nearly 12%. Brent finishing just under $88, also doubling digits. And reports of a massive strategic reserve release driving the sell off. And President Trump announcing plans for a new $300 billion refinery. That'd be the first in Texas since 1976. This is tied to his America first energy push. Now all eyes are on Wall street ahead of the opening bell. All on this. Now back to Iran. A major shift in the U. S. Missile defense. The Pentagon moving a critical fad anti missile system out of the Indo Pacific and into the Middle East. Now this move is raising some serious questions on multiple fronts. Joining us now is geopolitical analyst Brandon Weickert, the senior editor at 1945.com and the author of the Shadow War Iran's Quest for Supremacy. Brandon, we were talking offline. What does this tell you at this critical moment in regards to the Stad anti missile defense weapon? All right.
Brandon Weickert
Yeah, what it tells me and good morning by the way. What it tells me is that my, my claim about a week ago or over a week ago that by day eight the CENTCOM would have to start cannibalizing the arsenals of other areas of responsibility, notably into Paycom. So we got to day 10, so I was off by two days. And I wish I was wrong completely, but clearly we have now exhausted the Thaad missile batteries that we had a raid in the Middle east and we are now cannibalizing South Korea's. Interestingly, about a week ago this was floated as a possibility and a South Korean politician actually took to the South Korean press and said that the Americans have betrayed South Korea. And the reason they're saying that is because these systems are very important for the South Korean defense against North Korea. But more importantly, even though these are US Systems that are basically being lent to the South Koreans or the, the problem is the Chinese are saying if the Americans move that out of South Korea into centcom, we, we would have a problem with that. So that, that, that's one of the political undercurrents here.
Brian Glenn
Okay, let's, let's move if we could to the straight of her moose. There was President Trump pushed out A true social yesterday threatening the Iranian government that if they put any type of mines or anything that would endanger vessels going through that area that he would return fire 20 times that of before. What's your thoughts on that and is that, do you see that as a potential danger moving forward to trying to get that oil moved out of that area?
Brandon Weickert
Yeah. So what the President has managed to do is use the bully pulpit of the presidency a couple a day or two ago to basically stop that spiral in the market. We were watching where we got to 100 and I think $12 or a hundred dollars a barrel and Goldman was saying we're going to 150 in another four or five days. He basically said I'm going to, I'm going to act, don't worry. And you know I'm paraphrasing but, but basically the fear is Strait of Hormuz is going to continue to be sealed off more so by Iranian words rather than actual. Now they're starting to mine and we're starting to try to stop the mining from occurring. But so far the Iranians have really just used implied threats to put the fear of God into the captains of these container ships and into the insurance companies that under that, that back these, these big container ships and because of that fear they are not passing through. But the Iranian anti ship ballistic missile threat is still very real there. In fact the Navy according to Reuters yesterday officially stated they will not be providing escort which is what President Trump was telling them to do. And the reason is because, and that's the tell it's because the, the Iranian anti ship ballistic missile threat is and the drone threat in the strait is so serious it could become a turkey shoot for the Iranians against US naval forces and against whatever container ships they're escorting.
Brian Glenn

Welcome back. Good shot of Hyden, Kentucky. Doesn't look like it's raining there yet, but the rain is coming that way and it's also coming our way here. We're live in Hebron, Kentucky, getting ready for President Trump to make his arrival just miles from where I sit right now. Glad you're with us on this very busy morning. As always, we're here following the developments across the country and around the world. You can join us on getter YouTube and rumble for all the fun. All right, high stakes showdown on Capitol Hill. Senate leaders now taking up the Save America Act. Now this bill would require strict proof of citizenship to register to vote. Now President Trump saying he won't sign any other legislation until it passes. But the majority leader, John Thune admitting the votes aren't there. With Democrats united in opposition and the filibuster still in place. Take a listen.
David Brody
We don't have the votes either to
Brian Glenn
proceed, get on a talking filibuster nor to sustain one if we got on it. But that's just a, that is just
Show Announcer
a function of math and there isn't
David Brody
anything I can do about that. I mean, I understand the president's got a passion to see this issue addressed
Brandon Weickert
as we all do.
Show Announcer
Does he understand that, though? Well, we've conveyed that to him, but
Brian Glenn
we will continue to make that argument
David Brody
because I think it's important that everybody understand that this really is about, it's about the votes, it's about the math. And for better or worse, I'm the one who has to be a clear eyed realist about what we can achieve here. And so we'll continue to convey that.
Brian Glenn
And I think that we're going to have a fight on the floor.
David Brody
We're going to vote on this, we're
Brian Glenn
going to put it out and we'll
David Brody
give the Democrats the opportunity to cast their vote on whether or not they think non citizens ought to vote in American elections. And so that that debate will happen.
Brian Glenn
But like I said, I can, I
David Brody
can guarantee the debate, I can guarantee a vote. I just can't guarantee an outcome.
Brian Glenn
All right, joining us now to talk about that is real America's Voice national political correspondent Neil McCabe. You heard th there. He simply says, hey, we don't have the votes. That's it.
David Brody
Nothing I can do. I'm just the majority leader. What can I do? Right? I don't have any control. Yeah, I'm just a guy. I'm just a guy who shows up for work 9 to 5. I happen to run the place, but whatever. I think if, if John Thune wanted to get a bill passed, he would get a bill passed. It's been done before. People have passed legislation in the Senate before. Even if the Democrats didn't like it. I know that when the, when the, when the Democrats have the Senate, they get everything they want and, and that. And they just, the Republicans just roll over. And, you know, one of the reasons why we had such crazy inflation under Biden is because of the massive, massive spending bills that the Republicans, the Republicans just let happen. So I think Thune, Thune might be able to have, you know, reach into his bag of tricks and figure out how to actually be the majority leader. You know, I'm now seeing online people. Go ahead.
Brian Glenn
No, go ahead now. Continue. I'm sorry.
David Brody
No, no. I've seen online where people are now talking about vacating the chair because all it would take is five senators, five Republicans to call for a meeting, and then 27 senators vote to oust the guy. The Majority leader is not a constitutional office. It's a party office. And so they could, the Republicans could get rid of him today if they wanted to. And so Thune could go to his guys and say, hey, you have to give me this or they're going to throw me out or Trump's going to call, you know, next thing you know. You know, if you want Rick Scott to be the majority leader, fine. But if you want to block Rick Scott or a MAGA Majority leader, you have to give me this. But he's not going to do that. They're going to, they're going to die on that Hill. And it's crazy and it's sad because this is really Trump's priority in 2026.
Brian Glenn
Brian? Yeah, Neil. I don't know what, how big his bag of tricks is, but let me tell you something. When you look on social media and the outrage of people towards this, towards Republicans in general, but specifically, specifically Thune and the Senate Republicans for not taking care of this, that's the first time I've ever heard someone mention vacate the chair. We've seen that in the House on the congressional side, often we've seen that. That's how Mike Johnson got in there with vacant the chair with Kevin McCarthy. So that's, that's some tough talk there in terms of what they were willing to do with Thune. But I do think that that is an option. Real quick, let's shift over to where I'm at today. I'm in Hebron, Kentucky. It is the 4th congressional district here in Kentucky. President Trump making a stop here. Not only talk about the economy and some other Trump rx in Cincinnati, but he's also here to support the primary challenger of Thomas Massie, who has been in Congress, you know, seven time congressional member here. Name recognition, name ID incumbent, very hard to beat that. What's your thoughts on this potential primary?
David Brody
It's going to be very difficult because that district, as you know, is a very large spread out district. And you know, Massey used to joke the reason why no one will run against him in the primary is because nobody wants to move to his district because no one wants to live there. It Massie has been a hardcore principled libertarian his entire career. He and Rand Paul are an incredible tag team. Those staffs work together and he's had, Massie's had an interesting relationship with Trump. Sometimes Trump endorses him, sometimes he doesn't. But they have a very good personal relationship up until, you know, a few months ago. And there was a point where Massie, you know, they put him on the rules committee. He became very close with Tom Emmer, the House whip. And the thinking was that Massie was going to join the leadership track and sort of instead of being this constant rebel and instead some somebody threw a switch, he threw a switch and now he's the craziest rebel we got.
Brian Glenn
Brian, it's interesting that Thomas Massie does walk around with a debt clock attached to his suit pocket. Yeah, I'd highly encourage you to search that is he's a fiscal conservative, there's no doubt. Neil, thank you so much for joining us this morning. We'll keep all our eyes on Capitol Hill as you're there. Thank you so much. Appreciate it. All right. Davis from Are you a Charlotte Podcast? I just had the most epic girls day cruising around LA with my friend Heather Graham. And thanks to Hyundai, we even recorded a special episode for you. Yes, I have a good 90s story of Fred Siegel.
TJ Roberts
What?
Kristen Davis
I saw Alanis Morissette there one time. It was so exciting. I was with my girlfriend Melanie.
David Brody
She saw you, so that's like good.
Kristen Davis
She was very, it was like the height of Alanis time and she was with this beautiful man. And I had a golden retriever puppy and the beautiful man wanted to say hi to the golden retriever puppy. We were eating at that little cafe there at the Santa Monica one, and Alanis hung back in a way that made me wonder what was happening. Like, who wouldn't want to pet this beautiful puppy? I was like, oh, my God, it's Alanis. And then I was like, try to breathe, try to breathe, try to breathe because I love her so much. My new episode is out now, presented by the all new Hyundai Palisade hybrid. Make every day epic.

Welcome to American Sunrise EARLY edition, the show where fate, freedom and the values that built this nation take center stage.
TJ Roberts
All right.
Brian Glenn
Welcome back. America Sunrise EARLY edition. Good morning. Thanks for joining us. We're very busy this morning. I'm live in Hebron, Kentucky. We're a little bit later this afternoon. President Trump will land not too far from right now and have two events. We'll have all that for you right here on Real America's Voice and all the developments happening there. But first, let's toss it over to Terrence Bates in our Denver newsroom with the very latest headlines. Good morning, Terrence.
Terrence Bates
Hey, B. Good morning. So you're right outside of Cincinnati, right?
Brian Glenn
I am.
Terrence Bates
Is that right?
Brian Glenn
Yeah.
Terrence Bates
So do you know what Cincinnati's nickname is? Or at least one of them? Do you know what it's called?
Brian Glenn
Ooh, I don't.
Terrence Bates
The Queen City. It's called the Queen City, similar to Charlotte, North Carolina. Charlotte, North Carolina, also called the Queen City. The only reason I know this, Brian don't. I'm not gonna even front. Like, I'm so smart. But when I lived in Charlotte, we had done a number of different stories about the other Queen city being Cincinnati. So, yeah, there you have it. You can share that with people. You can say, hey, I'm in the Queen City. And they'll be like, oh, he must Cincinnati. There you go.
Brian Glenn
All right, Brian.
Terrence Bates
There you go. Let me actually get to my job and not try to just show how smart I am. President Trump's endorsement continues to be golden as Republican Clayton Fuller is riding the president's support all the way to a runoff election for Marjorie Taylor Greene's former House seat. Fuller, who is on the right side of your screen. Actually, we're going to show you him on the right side of your screen. This is the wrong video. We apologize. I can tell you this. He was the second highest vote getter in a crowded field of candidates looking to replace the former congresswoman, who of course gave up her seat after a very public split with the president. There you see Fuller. He's on the right side of your screen. In all, nearly 20 people were vying for the seat in the nonpartisan special election. Democrat Sean Harris on the left pulled in 37% of the vote to Fuller's 35%, Friend of the show. And Georgia State Senator Colton Moore was a distant third with 12.5% support. That runoff, by the way, is set for next month. And, Brian, that brings us to where you are today. President Trump headed to Kentucky and Ohio. He's going to be in the Cincinnati area, the Queen City, which is right there across the river from Kentucky. The White House says the commander in chief is going to meet with business owners in both states to discuss the economy. But in Kentucky, Brian, and this is where I really want to get your perspective here. In just a second, he's going to be campaigning for Navy SEAL Captain Ed Gallerian, who is looking to primary incumbent Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie, who of course, has been a thorn in the president's side, taking a true social 47 writing. The incredible people of Kentucky's 4th congressional district who want desperately to get rid of Thomas Massie, the worst Republican congressman we have had in many years gave us a mandate to make America great again. The person that will help us do the job and do it right is Navy seal, Army Ranger, fifth generation Kentucky farmer and American hero, Captain Ed Gallerian, a true patriot. We'll of course, have live coverage of the president's visit throughout the day here on Real America's Voice. Brian, that would be you being on site there. Let's not be fooled. The president is there to primary Thomas Massie and to make sure that Thomas Massie does not win reelection. That's task number one, I would think.
Brian Glenn
I would think so. He was also going to talk about Trump, Trump RX in Cincinnati and he'll be at a logistics facility here in Hebron not too far from a sitting. But you're absolutely right. But Terence, he has got the the incumbent benefit of going for him name recognition. Seven time reelected Congressman maybe despite what the Trump the true social says Thomas Massie is very popular in in this part of the state. So it's going to be very interesting if indeed this Trump endors will be enough to lift that challenging the challengers up until past Massey. That's going to be one to watch. But in terms of the economic message here, obviously you talk about Trump Rx and talk about the economy, the strength in the economy, especially amidst all of the war that's going on right now. Need to re focus on the economy going into the midterms but it's going to be very interesting. Terrence, this is one of those primary challenges. Now I'm not surprised that Fuller won Georgia. I'm not Sean Harris. I will say this. The Democrat. The Democrat. Historic. They had historic turnout there for Democrats in this special election. So I do see Sean Harris doing better than he did last year. But ultimately, Terence, I don't see him overtaken Fuller. And I was really surprised that Colton Moore finished a very distant third on that very distance.
Terrence Bates
You thought he would have a better showing?
Brian Glenn
I did. I did. Okay.
Terrence Bates
All right. So look, I'm just looking at the numbers. This was a crowded field. I think there was something like 17 or 18 candidates. A majority of them were Republican candidates which of course took votes away from Clayton Fuller. I'm thinking just in a head to head from a numbers perspective alone, it's probably going to be a landslide. Clayton Fuller wins this thing, I would think pretty handily.
Brian Glenn
Yeah. You know, historically MTG has won that district. That race historically has been the first race called in the entire country by the wide margin of victory that she would have over her opponent. Now it's a deep red district. So won't be any surprise if Clayton Fuller does win this very heavily. But I am very surprised on the turnout so far that Sean Harris has had. Now I don't know if that's just kind of a Democrats are coming out of the woodworks to make sure that they push back on any kind of anti Trump this, anti Trump that. I do suspect that might be a little bit of it. But Brian Stover, who invested over a million dollars when I couldn't understand into this race, finished a very distance down the bottom of the list. So it just goes to show that you can throw a bunch of money at an election, you can really flood the the market with signs and digital ads. But, boy, if you don't have that Trump endorsement, you're not going to get very far. But let's see if that works. The same model works here in Kentucky as well.
Terrence Bates
Absolutely. Everybody and their mother was in that race there in Georgia, I think. I read the list and I might have even seen my name in it and didn't even realize I was in.
Brian Glenn
So, yeah, I, I was heard, I heard someone said I was going to write my name in that list and my mom was thinking about writing her name name in that list. I said don't do that. Don't get into politics. It's nasty. Don't do that.
Terrence Bates
Absolutely. For sure. Brian, good to see you, brother.
Brian Glenn
All right, Terrence, thank you as always. We'll see you on American Sunrise. I'll have an update from Hebron in your show. We'll see in a few.
David Brody
Okay.
Brian Glenn
All right. There's never been President Trump has never had his love for McDonald's at all. You may remember that on the campaign trail, he even worked the fry station and flip burgers at a McDonald's. Now, the fast food world has its own burger battle going on right now. McDonald's CEO going viral for this video. Check it out. All right.
Show Announcer
The moment of truth.
David Brody
That is so good. That's a big bite for a big arch.
Brian Glenn
It's distinctively McDonald's. Only McDonald's could do this type of
David Brody
burger, but it also is unlike anything else on our menu.
Brian Glenn
And now Burger King responding with a video of their own CEO biting back. Take a listen.
Kristen Davis
Not bad, right?
Brian Glenn
Only one thing missing a napkin. And joining us now is Adam Weiss, marketing expert and host of Media Exposed on Real America's Voice here. Adam, is this just burger rivalry or is there a textbook case that this is a great example of just viral marketing? Doing a video, letting it hit the Internet and then let it trend. What's your thoughts on this?
David Brody
Well, you showed, Brian, thanks for having me. You showed President Trump. And what makes President Trump different? He was brilliant at Twitter back in the early days, around 2011 and 12, early on, even though he was in his 70s. Right. So the fact that this CEO, they put an ad out, like if we looked at it a decade, decade or two ago would be like, that's very nice. He looked polite. He looked like Mr. Rogers sitting around didn't offend anybody. But in this day and age, you need pizzazz. You need like these food bloggers, these food Instagrammers, these tick doctors. You need Life, you need more of a market. This guy looked dull. He looked like he was in a corporate boardroom. He looked like he never had a burger before in his life. And it came across as inauthentic. And really with the Internet and with social media and with criticism these days, it just took on a life of its own. But at the end of the day, Brian, it might be great PR for McDonald's and Burger King.
Brian Glenn
I think it was great PR for McDonald's, Burger King, Five Guys Hat Creek Burger and Grill, Gas Monkey Bar and Grill. You saw a lot of these CEOs jump in on this burger viral sensation. And I even had people on my feed, Adam, doing their own burger reviews for what they cooked in their kitchen. So I think this is a very, very low cost, an effective way to market your product and just let the Internet do their thing. And to your point, sometimes they're not as nice as you would want them to be. But nevertheless, the McDonald's, hey, if it wasn't for that, I wouldn't know they had the big arch that was released.
David Brody
Great. All PR is good pr. Unless you're getting indicted. Everything works, everything creates a buzz. And I want to try the arch and I'm sure millions of people want to try the arch now.
Brian Glenn
Yeah. Adam Weiss, as always, thank you. How can someone follow you and obviously tune in right here on Real America's Voice for your show?
David Brody

And we'll continue our coverage here in Hebron, Kentucky, as we await President Trump. He lands about 1:40 local time. We'll have it from there. Keep it right here. All right, so a live look at our Nation's capital, Washington, D.C. good looking day. The weather not so great here. We got some thunderstorms expected to move in here in the Tri state area just south of Cincinnati. We're here in Hebron, Kentucky. Welcome back, American Sunrise. Brian Glenn joining on this on this, on this day, let's bring in very own David Brody to kind of go over a couple things. We were talking offline, big stop here in Kentucky with President Trump to support the primary challenger to his congressional race here. Lots of people talking about it.
David Brody
Yeah, I mean, look, that's the big enchilada if you think about it. I mean, it's the one that President Trump wants badly to defeat Tom Massie, which has always been so curious and interesting to me because other than the Epstein files and maybe a couple other small, small other things, I mean, Massie is kind of as MAGA as they come as it relates to America First. So it's just been kind of a weird situation. But, you know, this is the age that we live in with President Trump. He's just going to kind of, you know, do his thing. And he didn't like the fact that Massie was pushing the Epstein file. So we'll see. But the fact that Clay Fuller won last night, or I say won, you know, technically he's in a runoff. So he came in second. But the fact that the Trump backed Clay Fuller won in Georgia last night just goes to once again what we've said all along, Brian, which is the power of Trump. I mean, it's still there. It's got staying power. And you just wonder if it's going to bite Massie in the, you know what? Come May 19, we'll wait and see.
Brian Glenn
Yeah, we'll wait and see. I was out last night grabbing dinner and just kind of talking to whoever would talk to me, which is kind of strange. You walk up to people, David, they said not to talk to me, but they were Massey supporters and they said, hey, I love President Trump, I love his agenda, I support him. But I also like Thomas Massie. And so you may have a little bit of split on that as well. Big day. David, as always, thanks for your insight. And we'll check in with you here in about 15 minutes. I'm on your show today, which is great.
David Brody
Hey, that sounds great. Well, then I'll check in with you. How's that sound? We'll turn the table. Yeah, let's do that.
Brian Glenn
Let's check in with each other here in a few minutes. Thank you. Thanks, David. Appreciate it. All right. And as we said, we'll have live coverage on the ground. President Trump land landing around 1:40 here local time. He's gonna make a stop in Cincinnati and make a stop way down here and work down here just miles away in Hebron at a logistical plant. We'll have all the coverage on the ground all day as it develops. You can always follow me @Brian GlennTV on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. And until next time, goodbye. God bless. I'll have another hit here at 8:15, America sunrise. Stick around for that. We'll see you.
